The Hot Boys finally got together for the ultimate reunion during Lil Wayne's music festival in the iconic rap group's hometown.

On Saturday night, November 2, Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, B.G., Mannie Fresh and Birdman hit the stage at Lil' Weezyana Fest in New Orleans. After Rob49 opened the show, Weezy delivered a solo set before he brought out the Big Tymers Baby and Mannie Fresh. They performed songs like "Still Fly" and "Get Your Roll On." Afterward, the OG Hot Boys pulled up to perform classics like "I Need A Hot Girl" and "Bling Bling" together for the first time in years.

Fans at home witnessed the historic moment at the festival, presented by Live Nation Urban, exclusively on Amazon Prime. The long-awaited reunion comes a few months after Birdman attempted to bring the Hot Boys together during the Cash Money 30th Anniversary celebration at Essence Fest. The Cash Money co-founder, Mannie Fresh, B.G., and Juvenile hit the stage together, but Turk and Wayne were nowhere in sight. Weezy performed solo after their set, which didn't go over well with fans at the time. According to Turk and Juvenile, Wayne was the one who rallied everyone together to make sure they had a proper reunion at his festival.

"A call from Wayne," Turk said during an interview at the show. "It was like 'me? you calling me?' It was like a God-answered prayer. With so much stuff that be going on out there in the world, sometimes you have a lot of adversity. You have a lot of people trying to stop things from going forward. Just to get that right energy to finally come, it's God. God worked through Weezy."

During the festival, Lil Wayne was honored by his hometown in several ways. He was presented with the key to the city from Mayor LaToya Cantrell, and a special plaque from NOLA's own Master P. While on stage, the No Limit Records founder informed the city about his plans to launch the inaugural NOLA Walk of Fame with Weezy as the first honoree.

"I just wanted to say one love to the greatest rapper alive Lil Wayne!" Master P said. "Y'all know Young Money made history my brother. What we about to do for you next is February 6 β€” I know y'all seen the Hollywood Walk of Fame. February 6 on Canal Street we starting the NOLA Walk of Fame and you're the first one."

Midway through his set, Weezy also commented on the controversy surrounding the Super Bowl Halftime Show. After Kendrick Lamar was named the headliner for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, the Hollygrove native voiced his disappointment with the league when he didn't get the call to perform. While on stage last night, Wayne said the moment was "ripped from" him, but he wouldn't allow the moment with his Cash Money brethren to be taken from him.

"I worked my ass off to get that f**king position," Weezy said. "It was ripped away from me, but this muthaf**kin' moment right here, they can’t take that."
