What Jennifer Lopez Is 'Most Looking Forward To' After 'Intense Year'

Jennifer Lopez is looking forward to spending "special time" with her loved ones over the holidays following an "intense year" amid her split from Ben Affleck.

Speaking to People, the "On the Floor" singer shared that the holiday season has always held a special place in her heart ever since she was a child and that she is excited to be surrounded by her family to celebrate this year for a "beautiful time" where they can "catch up on what everybody's doing."

"It was a pretty intense year for me, and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Cost," she said. "The holidays are such a special time for us, and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories."

Lopez has indeed had an "intense year" as she continues to navigate the end of her marriage to Affleck after she filed for divorce from the Argo director in August after two years of marriage.

The move came months after she canceled her This Is Me... Live tour and speculation of her and Affleck's rocky relationship. Despite the tension that often comes with a divorce, they are still showing support for each other, including Affleck recently making a rare comment about his ex.
