Cardi B and Offset may be going through a divorce, but they're still civil enough to have fun with one another.
On Saturday night, December 14, Offset celebrated his 33rd birthday at Taboo Miami following his surprise performance with Don Toliver at Rolling Loud. The former Migos rapper had an elevated VIP section in the club where he was spotted throwing crispy bills into the air. His estranged wife hosted the party and had her own section right below him. In a video currently floating around social media, you can see the former couple hilariously throw money at each other from their respective sections.
It looks like Cardi B and Offset are doing a lot better now than they were before. The "Enough" rapper officially filed for divorce from her longtime husband and father of their three children in August. The couple separated but they've reunited a couple of times in the past few months including the birth of their third child in September. In a recent X Space, Bardi said that she and Offset have become really good at co-parenting. She also said they're finally peaceful toward one another despite the current drama surrounding their leaked text messages and DM's from X.
"I would never get back with this n**a, but I'm not even gonna lie, we've been peaceful for a week," she said. "So, we like the energy, it's peaceful for a week. I don't bother you, you don't bother me."
Over the weekend, explicit text messages between Bardi and Offset were posted to social media. In one of their past exchanges, Cardi B makes it clear that Offset will never get to sleep with her again after he asks for sex. In a screenshot of a DM that leaked, Offset told Cardi to "keep my child" and accused her of cheating on him. Eventually, Cardi admitted she was the one who leaked the text messages after rumors spread that she was hacked.
"And yes I did post that f**king text message myself because it's like I don't like when n****s try to play me," she explained. "I really don't like when n****s try to play me like I'm not the baddest b***h. Okay? If a n***a be doing them it's because n****s is just n****s, they dogs."
