Jana Kramer Takes Pregnancy Test, Reveals The Results Live On Her Podcast

The new episode of Whine Down with Jana Kramer took an unexpected turn when Jana Kramer took a pregnancy test during the podcast recording.

Kramer, 41, told Kathryn Woodard and Kristen Brust that she’s “13 days late,” but “I don’t think I’m pregnant.” Throughout the conversation, Kramer continued to question the possibility of another pregnancy. She ultimately agreed to take a pregnancy test, which the Whine Down producer ordered to be delivered to the “Warrior” singer.

Brust noted that pregnancies can still happen for women in their 40s, and later brought up her friend, Cassie Kelley, who is married to singer-songwriter Charles Kelley of Lady A. The Kelleys announced earlier this year that Cassie is pregnant with Baby No. 2, which she called the “biggest surprise of our lives.” Baby No. 2 is another boy, joining big brother Ward, 9. Brust said Cassie, 42, said the possibility of another pregnancy “didn’t even cross my mind.”

By the end of the episode, Kramer took the pregnancy test and returned to await the results in real time with Woodard and Brust.

Kramer began to see a faint line appearing on the test. Brust noted that the line on Kramer’s pregnancy test also appeared faint at first when she was pregnant with Baby No. 3. Kramer and her husband, Scottish former soccer star Allan Russell, 44, welcomed their first child together, son Roman James Russell, in November 2023. Roman joined Troy, Russell’s teen son from a previous relationship, and Kramer’s two children from her previous marriage: Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6.

Last year, Kramer told Woodard and Brust that she “took a pregnancy test,” and “started to freak out” when she noticed “a faint, faint — just like my first test — faint, faint line. …This is how it happened with Roman. I had a faint little line, and then I was pregnant. So, I was like, ‘I’m totally pregnant.’” Though she wasn’t pregnant at that time, Kramer said, “this was the breaking news. I was like, ‘I kind of want another (baby). …If I was younger, I would have another one in a heartbeat. If I was 38, I’d have another one.”
