Daylyt is firing back at Joey Bada$$ days after Reason and other West Coast rappers dropped brutal responses to the New York rapper.
On Monday, May 19, the revered battle rapper dropped his diss track “WRD2MIMVA” on YouTube. The beginning of the track features a clip of Drake saying, "I'm sure everybody's excited to see what Daylyt's going to be." From there, Daylyt unleashes his lyrical wrath on Joey Bada$$.
"I'm mad, that's it, Tray from Don't Be A Menace/Punching all you badass kids, you heard me," Daylyt spits. "You took Lyt at the start of the summer/Pipe down like the Mario brothers."

"Mediocre nameflips, your play so cheesy/Okay, Joe, I'm on my J.O.Easy," he continues. "I work without a sweat/It's 'bout ars/A reply from Ken? Oh, I doubt, mark/You couldn't kill Kenny with South Park, that's a hood story."
Daylyt has been quick to respond to Joey Bada$$ since the New York rapper launched his war against the West Coast in January. After Joey dropped his song "The Ruler's Back," Daylyt responded with "HIYU" nearly a week later. Joey followed up with "Sorry Not Sorry" that same month, and Daylyt replied with "YHRR" shortly afterward. The two went back-and-forth while other artists like Ray Vaughn, Pro Era's CJ Fly, and most recently Az Chike also jumped into the ring. Ray dragged Joey on songs like “Crashout Heritage," “Impossible Patty” and his most recent track, "Hoe Era," which came in response to Joey's latest diss "The Finals."
Meanwhile, former TDE signee Reason also had something to say after Joey fired a stray shot at him in "The Finals." The Carson native dropped "The Dead Apple," in which he disses Joey for mentioning him. He even fired shots at Joey's home state in the second half of called "New York Crash" over Ja Rule's "New York."
"The shot ain't direct enough, the f**k you mentioned me? I'm with the drama," Reason raps. "The cypher was cold, I run it back for you and I leave your soul beside ya/I push a button like it's debit my n***a, I never sued but I settle it, n***a/The clip hungry, I done fed it, my n***a/We ain't Goodfellas, I'll Joe Pesci a n***a."
