Amazon's annual 'Prime Day' deal event will be extended to four days in 2025, the company announced in a news release shared on Tuesday (June 17).
Prime Day will be held from July 8 to July 11, the first change made since the annual summer sale was increased from one day to two in 2017.
"Prime Day will take place July 8-11 this year, expanding to four days. Amazon’s 2025 Prime Day event will officially start July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and run until midnight on July 11—offering Prime members 96 hours of deals," the company said in its news release.
"With the summer shopping event returning, for the first time for 4 days, Prime members have double the time to shop millions of deals with savings on pantry staples and snacks for summer gatherings to home-improvement must-haves, back-to-school supplies, health and personal care finds, family-favorite toys, best-selling books, pet essentials, and even premium and luxury splurges," Amazon added.
Additionally, the new 'Today's Big Deals' feature will drop themed daily deals from popular brands such as Samsung, Kiehl's and Levi's, according to the news release. Amazon's annual summer 'Prime Day' event offers Prime members significant discounts on various products, recently coinciding with inflation and economic uncertainty.
“With an extended 4-day event, our Prime members will have more time and flexibility to conveniently shop, while enjoying exclusive deals and incredible savings," an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement to the Daily Mail about the change.
