By Tony M. Centeno
June 20, 2025
Gucci Mane returns with two fresh tracks from his upcoming album inspired by his third book.
On Friday, June 20, Guwop shared two new songs, "Voices" and "Psycho," via 1017 Global/Atlantic Records. Both records, produced by Go Grizzly and Pooh Beatz, give fans a glimpse into Gucci's mental state nowadays. In "Voices," the seasoned rapper raps about the ominous voice in his head that tells him what to do, like "Buy Rolls Royces," "Do what you gotta do," and "F**k what they said, I ain't taking my meds." In "Psycho," Gucci admits he's a bit stir crazy and needs a Givenchy straightjacket.
"I been through a lot/Money old, it's startin' to rot," Gucci raps on "Psycho." "Sorry all the ones I shot/They say Gucci kind of crazy (Burr), I'm bipolar with the guap."
"Voices" and "Psycho" will appear on Gucci Mane's forthcoming album EPISODES. The album will be accompanied by his second book, called Episodes: The Diary of a Recovering Mad Man. Gucci Mane teamed up with author Kathy Iandoli to pen an authentic account of his mental health journey. The book is set to arrive on October 14 followed by his album, which drops October 17.
"I’ve been working on my book & album dropping 10/17 called EPISODES!" Gucci wrote on Instagram. "All my fans that’s been struggling with mental health this one is for u! You are not alone!"
Gucci Mane's "Voices" sits at the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. Guwop joins several other artists on the playlist this week including Cardi B, Offset, Wale, Central Cee and more. Press play on the playlist up top and scroll below for more new music.
