The Oklahoma City Thunder are the 2025 NBA champions after defeating the Indiana Pacers,103-91, in Game 7 of the NBA Finals at Paycom Center Sunday (June 22) night.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the 2025 NBA MVP, finished Sunday's game with 29 points, 12 assists and five rebounds.

"A lot of hard work, a lot of hours in the gym. This isn't just a win for me, this is a win for my family, this is a win for my fans, this is a win for everybody that was in my corner growing up, this is a win for the fans, the best fans in the world, we love you," Gilgeous-Alexander said after being named NBA Finals MVP during the 2025 NBA Finals postgame championship ceremony. "It means everything. It's why you play the sport, you play the sport to win, you play every sport to win, we had a a team full of competitors, we did what it took this year to be champions and we deserve this, we rose to the moment and here we are."

Jalen Williams recorded 20 points, four rebounds and four assists in Game 7.

The Thunder finished the 2024-25 NBA regular season with a league-best 68-14 record, and swept the Memphis Grizzlies in the first-round, defeated the Denver Nuggets, 4-3 in the second round, and beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 4-1, in the Western Conference Finals.
