And Because It’s More Than Just Music…
A Capitol Fourth is also packed with moving tributes to the people and stories that make America, well… America:

- WWII 80th Anniversary tribute honoring members of the Greatest Generation - some of whom will be in attendance.
- First Responders Recognition – A thank you to the everyday heroes keeping our communities safe and strong.
- And finally, the jaw-dropping fireworks finale, courtesy of the National Park Service, with music from the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets. It’s not a party until the sky explodes in red, white, and BOOM.
