20 Greatest Country Songs Of All Time Revealed — See The List

Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood and many other artists will appear on an upcoming Grand Ole Opry album.

The Opry, hailed the longest-running radio program in the genre’s history (and the show that made country music famous), celebrates is 100th anniversary in 2025. OPRY 100: Country’s Greatest Songs is an “exclusive one-of-a-kind album” that features 20 “never-before-released” performances that took place on the historic stage in Nashville, Tennessee. Performances included on the star-studded track list span the decades, ranging from the early 1960s to this year. They were selected via the fan-voted Opry 100 Greatest Songs ranking, per a press release issued Monday (July 28).

7.     “I Will Always Love You” - Dolly Parton (feat. Patty Loveless and Marty Stuart) (2007)

8.     “The Gambler” - Don Schlitz (feat. Vince Gill) (2025)

9.     “Devil Went Down to Georgia” - The Charlie Daniels Band (2015)

“For me, this collection of great songs truly captures the spirit of the Opry and our centennial celebration,” Dan Rogers, Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of the Grand Ole Opry, said in a statement. “These songs, voted on by Opry fans, come to life through remarkable live performances pulled from our rich archives. From debuts of songs that went on to become classics, to covers of past Opry members’ standards by current members of the cast, to vocal collaborations so perfect it’s hard to believe they were recorded live just one time, I believe the project is truly historic.”

The first track from the limited-edition album, Ashley McBryde’s 2024 rendition of Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” will be available on Wednesday (July 30), the press release states. The full OPRY 100: Country’s Greatest Songs album will arrive on November 7. The Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary is November 28.
