'It’s Hilarious': Jana Kramer Addresses Rumor That Husband Is On Dating App

Jana Kramer recently received a DM alleging that someone was impersonating her husband, Scottish former soccer star Allan Russell, on a dating app.

She “wouldn’t even look into that.”

On the latest episode of Whine Down with Jana Kramer, the podcast host shared, after reading a question from a listener, that she received a message telling her that “someone’s impersonating” Russell on a dating app. Kramer, 41, said she and Russell, 44, “were joking about it. It’s hilarious. But I wouldn’t even look into that.”

Kramer acknowledged that in previous years, “I would have 1,000% looked into it.” But now, “I literally trust Allan so much. …I’ve got a partner that is willing to be respectful, loving, and isn’t going to walk away,” Kramer said of her husband, and clarifying that she doesn’t believe any speculation that Russell is using a dating app. “I trust him.”

Kramer and Russell had been dating for about six months when they announced their engagement in 2023. The couple quickly followed their engagement announcement with a pregnancy reveal, and welcomed son Roman James Russell in November 2023. Roman joins Troy, Russell’s teen son from a previous relationship, plus Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6, Kramer’s two children from her previous marriage to ex-husband Mike Caussin. Kramer and Russell celebrated their first wedding anniversary last month. They got married in Scotland on July 13, 2024 (though they’ve since shared on Whine Down why they secretly got married several months earlier).
