Emma Stone Makes Rare Comment About The 'Greatest Gift Of My Life'

Emma Stone feels extremely lucky to be a mother.

The Easy A actress recently spoke to Vogue about the "greatest gift of my life," revealing that her four-year-old daughter, Louise Jean, whom she shares with husband Dave McCary, is her favorite adventure.

"There’s nothing I feel luckier about. She’s the greatest gift of my life, for sure," Stone beamed about her daughter, whom she and McCary welcomed into the world in 2021. The star explained that being a mother has changed everything for her as a person and as an actress.

"It’s streamlined everything. It’s a clichéd thing to say, but it changes everything. And simplifies everything. I do think it unlocks different things. I don’t know if it’s specifically that, but I feel everything I could possibly feel, because everything has exploded."

In 2024, the standout won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for 2024's Poor Things and shouted out Louise Jean during her acceptance speech.

"I really just want to thank my family. My mom, my brother Spencer, my dad, my husband, Dave, I love you so much. And most importantly, my daughter, who is going to be 3 in three days and has turned our lives technicolor. I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl."

According to Us Weekly, Stone met McCary in 2016 when she was hosting "Saturday Night Live" for the third time in her career. He directed a sketch that she acted in, and the rest was history! The couple maintained a private relationship for years and publicly announced their engagement in 2019.
