Cardi B is coming to Tyla's defense after the "Water" singer has been bombarded by hate-filled posts online.
On Wednesday, August 13, the Bronx bombshell spoke to fans on X Spaces about the hate she receives daily. At one point, Cardi brought up Tyla and referenced the "disrespectful" trolls who have dragged her ever since she broke out in the mainstream two years ago.
"People been dragging the s**t out of Tyla and it's like the girl don't even address or talk about nothing," Cardi said. "I'm starting to think that people just don't like celebrities."

“To be honest with you, I don’t even know the hate about it because I never really got into the details of what is the real hard-core thing,” she continued. “However, all I do know is every single time I scroll down on my TikTok, there’s a video of her and people are talking s**t. And it’s like, goddamn, what do you want her to f***ing do, cut her f***ing veins? Like, enough. Enough. I really think that’s what ya be wanting.”
Tyla has been feeling the hate from online trolls ever since she referred to herself as a "coloured South African" in a TikTok video in 2020. She enraged haters further after she declined to speak on the debate over her ethnicity during an interview with The Breakfast Club. Charlamagne Tha God brought up the issue midway through the discussion but her team advised them to move on. Tyla admitted the situation was "confusing" but ultimately said she's happy that she didn't address it.
The Grammy Award-winning singer has yet to speak on Cardi's comments, but she's clearly a fan. She recently reposted a clip from Bardi's livestream, in which she referred to her wig as a "Tyla wig." Check out the post and revisit her interview with The Breakfast Club below.
