Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi Welcome First Child Together

Millie Bobby Brown is a mom!

The Stranger Things star announced on Thursday (August 21) that she had welcomed her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi, a daughter they brought into their family through adoption.

"This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption," the couple said in a joint statement on Instagram. "We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy."

They concluded their message with a sweet update, "And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi."

The 21-year-old Enola Holmes actress and her husband, the 23-year-old son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, were first linked in June 2021 and went public with their relationship later that year, per Page Six. They got engaged in April 2023 after two years of dating when Bongiovi popped the question in a unique and memorable way that nearly ended in disaster when Brown almost immediately lost her ring.

The couple first tied the knot in a small "secret" ceremony with family and walked down the aisle again five months later during a larger wedding ceremony in Italy.

Earlier this year, Brown opened up on the Smartless podcast about her and Bongiovi's plans for children, even noting that she was open to adopting a child.

"For me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as adopting," she said. "I feel like anything’s out because my home is full of love for anyone and anything."
