Carly Pearce, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Russell Dickerson, Ashley McBryde and many others arrived in stunning wardrobe pieces at “Nashville’s newest cutting-edge venue” for the 18th ACM Honors on Wednesday evening (August 20).

Pearce returned to host the Academy of Country Music’s annual show, hailed the “Country Music Industry’s favorite night,” for her fifth consecutive year. Dickerson made his hosting debut when he joined the hummingbird artist for the first-ever ACM Honors at The Pinnacle. Pearce and Dickerson took the stage that evening, along with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Amy Grant, special guest HARDY and other performers. Honorees included Lori Badgett, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Jessie Jo Dillon, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Mac McAnally, Rissi Palmer, Randy Travis, “Twisters,” Ben Vaughn, and Lainey Wilson.

“This year’s ACM Special Awards honorees each have played an essential role in Country Music’s success,” said Kerri Edwards, Chair of the ACM Special Awards committee, in a press release issued last month. “From some of Country Music’s legendary artists to the incredible songwriters and powerhouse executives, we are so excited to celebrate these well-deserved recipients next month at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Congratulations to all the honorees.”

The Academy of Country Music announced this week that viewers can catch a three-hour special episode of CMT Hot 20: ACM Honors Edition, hosted by Pearce and Dickerson, plus CMT’s Cody Alan and Carissa Culiner. The special will feature “exclusive backstage conversations with honorees and performers, memorable moments from throughout the night, and exclusive performances,” according to the Academy of Country Music. CMT Hot 20: ACM Honors Edition will make its debut on Saturday, September 27.
