MONSTA X has released their highly anticipated mini album, THE X, marking a significant milestone in the band's decade-long career.
Known for their innovative approach to K-pop, MONSTA X delivers their first six-member mini album in four years. The focus track, "N the Front," showcases THE X’s power with heavy bass, thunderous drums, and a fierce blend of vocals and rap.
The six-track album includes the previously released single "Do What I Want." According to a press release, the track showcases "the group’s seasoned self-assurance, declaring, "This is who we are," and serving as a sensory introduction to the album’s energy."
For the last decade, MONSTA X has defied the shifting tides of K-pop, setting the standard with electrifying performances, bold musical and stylistic experiments, and unbreakable group unity. This release reaffirms MONSTA X's status as trailblazers in the K-pop industry, demonstrating their ability to adapt and innovate over the years.
Last month, the band reunited in Los Angeles on the KCON stage for the first time since 2016. The comeback happened just after the group’s 10-year anniversary and followed years of mandatory military service, which had temporarily put MONSTA X’s group activities on hold.
