Caroline Jones debuted an autobiographical anthem that serves as a tribute to “women and moms who do all the things.”

Jones, 35, said “All The Things” represents nearly the last two years of her life since she and her husband, Nick Dana, welcomed their first child together in November 2023. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist — known for her solo work and for joining Zac Brown Band in 2022 — wrote her newest single with Emily Weisband, Liz Rose and Brandon Hood.

“I think this is the song that represents the last year and a half of my life, almost two years now, the most,” Jones, who also co-produced the single, said during a recent interview with iHeartCountry. She said “All The Things” is a snapshot of her journey of “being a new mom, learning how to navigate this career, which is not a conventional career or lifestyle, and being a really present, intentional mom. …and it's a love letter to my husband and my support system because I wouldn't be able to do this career without him and without them.

“This song is about having a really strong support system and being so grateful for that, and also just celebrating women and moms who do all the things.”

“I can kiss it better, I can play guitar/ I can be a mom, and I can be a star/ You're the reason I got new songs to sing/ Baby, with you, I can do all the things”

Jones said she felt inspired to write music about motherhood in a “more complex” and “nuanced way” than lullabies and other songs, representing “the modern balancing act we’re all in.” She's no stranger to the balancing act. In her first year of motherhood, she and Zac Brown Band embarked on a massive summer stadium tour with 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Kenny Chesney. Jones added that “we did international travel, and it was a very hectic time and it was amazing.” Next, Zac Brown Band will headline a highly-anticipated run of shows at Sphere Las Vegas. Jones said it’s a “huge moment” for the Grammy-winning group, and particularly, for frontman Zac Brown. The unique, immersive Sphere shows will kick off with the release of Zac Brown Band’s new album, Love & Fear, featuring “I Ain’t Worried About It,” “Butterfly” with Dolly Parton, and more. Jones compared Brown to “a mad scientist” designing the show in a way that’s unlike “anything we’ve done before. …I really think it’s going to be epic.”

In her solo work, “All The Things” is Jones’ latest single to release since “No Tellin’” and “Divorce In A Small Town,” which all arrived as Jones prepares to release her next studio album. She hinted that the upcoming project (which has yet to be announced as of publication time), like her three most recent singles, will be “raw,” “honest,” “vulnerable” and “real.” And she knows she's not alone.

“A lot more women are dealing with these struggles of like, ‘do I start a family? Do I chase my dreams? How do I do both? And what does that look like, having a family and having this really demanding career?’” Jones said. “So, I love talking about this stuff and getting vulnerable, and that's a real theme on my next album. I've been writing a lot of this stuff. My first two singles, ‘No Tellin’” and ‘Divorce in a Small Town,’ they're both really raw, really vulnerable, somewhat heavy songs, and …especially now being a mom, I want to just write about more real-life stuff than ever.”
