Ty Dolla $ign had an interesting response when he was asked about the status of his and Ye's Vultures 3 album.
In a clip that was shared on Tuesday, October 7, the Grammy-nominated singer was participating in an interview ahead of his Tycoon album. During their conversation, the interviewer asked Ty about his other anticipated joint project with Yeezy, but his response sparked more questions than answers.
"There was a lot of music that was done," he said. "It could've been out at the time... But, uh, how should I say this? ... 6 7... 41"

Ty Dolla $ign and Ye worked on the VULTURES trilogy for quite some time before it was finally released last February. Their first joint album was popular among fans and achieved commercial success thanks to hit songs like "Carnival" with Rich The Kid and Playboi Carti. The duo, known as ¥$, followed up with VULTURES 2 a few months later, following several delays. Their second album didn't do as well as the first, but it did have a few notable collaborations with Young Thug, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Kodak Black and Ty's brother Big TC, who's featured on the album cover.
The status of the duo's third installment of the VULTURES trilogy has been unknown for the past year. Back in February, Ty hyped up fans by telling Complex that the album was "85-90%" done. However, there haven't been any other updates since then. Ye himself has not confirmed a release date for VULTURES 3 either.
Meanwhile, Ty is focused on his fourth studio album, Tycoon, which is set to drop on October 17.
