Country Music’s Biggest Night kicked off with a stunning red carpet as artists arrived at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Many of the genre’s mainstays — including a blend of long-beloved legends and rapidly-rising modern hitmakers — arrived to celebrate the Country Music Association’s 59th CMA Awards on Wednesday evening (November 19). Lainey Wilson is hosting the show for her second consecutive year, and this time, she’s hosting the show by herself, making her the first female artist to solo host since Reba McEntire hosted 34 years ago.
The Whirlwind superstar is also among a star-studded list of performers taking the stage throughout the evening. The lineup also includes Kelsea Ballerini, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Patty Loveless, Old Dominion, The Red Clay Strays, Chris Stapleton, BigXthaPlug, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore and Stephen Wilson Jr.
Some of the performers in the all-star lineup are also among he top nominees at this year’s show, including Wilson, Langley, Moroney, Top, Green, Cody Johnson and more. Find the full list of CMA Award nominees here.
The 59th CMA Awards will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, November 19. The show will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
