Reba McEntire shared a heartfelt tribute to late director Rob Reiner.

McEntire said she “enjoyed every minute I was around Rob Reiner,” as she posted a throwback photo of the two of them on Instagram on Monday (December 15). “He was one of a kind. I got to work with him on the movie North and he also helped us with our ending of my video, ‘Does He Love You.’ I sure will miss him. What a gift he was to this world. Rest in peace, my friend.”

McEntire appeared in North along with Elijah Wood, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bruce Willis, Dan Aykroyd and others in the cast. The Reiner-directed film premiered in 1994. McEntire released “Does He Love You” with Linda Davis in 1993, and she debuted a new version with Dolly Parton in 2021. Instagram commenters said North was a favorite childhood movie, and reminisced on Reiner’s connection with McEntire’s music video as they expressed their condolences.

Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead on Sunday (December 14) in their home in California. Their daughter, Romy Reiner, 28, reportedly found the couple. Authorities arrested son Nick Reiner, 32, in connection with the deaths on Monday. The tragedy led to an outpouring of tributes to the late director and his wife from others in the entertainment industry. See McEntire's post here:
