By Tony M. Centeno
December 19, 2025
Polo G is back with a stacked deluxe version of his Hood Poet album.
On Friday, December 19, the Chicago native delivered his new LP Hood Poet Black Heart Edition via Columbia Records. Polo G's latest body of work features 40 tracks in total, including 22 fresh songs like his recent singles "Chances" and "Quality Over Quantity." He also reunites with G Herbo on "Gangsta Graduation" and offers new collaborations with VonOff1700 and the late King Von. The album also includes the 18 tracks from his original Hood Poet LP, which was released last year.
Polo G has spent the past few months dropping several music videos for his new project. Earlier this month, he and fellow Chi-Town rapper G Herbo teamed up in the music video for "Gangsta Graduation," which shows what happens when young boys are influenced by gun violence. After sharing visuals for "Move Wrong," "Shoot It Off," and "Quality Over Quantity," Polo G closed out his album rollout with the video for "Chances."
Polo G's "Gangsta Graduation" appears on iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. The weekly round-up of fresh music also includes contributions from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, YFN Lucci and more.
