Jason Aldean captures “the highs, the lows, and everything in between,” throughout his new 20-track studio record.
The reigning Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade delivered Songs About Us on Friday (April 24). The long-awaited project includes Aldean’s 31st No. 1 single, “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” plus “Don’t Tell On Me,” the title track with Luke Bryan (arriving in time for the duo’s co-headlining show in their home state of Georgia), “Help You Remember,” “Easier Gone” — the country star’s first-ever duet with wife Brittany Aldean — and more. Aldean, who spoke about the highly-anticipated record on The Bobby Bones Show on Friday morning, said “every song on this record has a story behind it. …Hope y’all hear a little of your own in it.”

Aldean said in a statement when he first announced album details, “it means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments. This album is about all of that—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”
This summer, Aldean will kick off his headlining “Songs About Us Tour,” which includes special guests Chase Matthew, Mackenzie Carpenter and Dee Jay Silver. See the list of dates below.
