Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the best of two pros and a couple of
Joe with Rady Win and Jonas knocks on Fox Sports Radio.
How the hell are we feeling here on a Tuesday morning? Good? Yeah,
you guys missed you guys, Yeah you did it. A
lot of you didn't. A lot of accusations apparently were

(00:24):
being thrown around there. All right, that's all going to
start off the show. I'm just saying a lot of
a lot of stuff out there, you know, capin plants there. Yeah,
I mean it is odd. Here's what I want our
audience to understand. Okay, we give each other a hard time,
we bust each other's balls, as as Jonas would say.
What doesn't make any sense to me is if you

(00:46):
work with someone and you took off a Friday and
a Monday, you'd think the weekend you'd take off as well,
wouldn't you, LaVar. Wouldn't that be the thought behind all
of it? I mean, but yeah, okay, but it was
odd because Jonas actually worked Saturday even though he took
off Friday and Monday. I mean, why is that, Jonas? Well,

(01:07):
you can't. I mean, nobody wants to lose the main event,
do they? I mean like you got to show up
for the main event, so I mean clearly to make
sure that that Jaks was was still running and and
you know, wasn't comfortable leaving it in the hands of
anybody else, and so we had to just continue on. Honestly, hey,
you do you do know what this means? Right? Yes? Well,
I mean we sounded pretty good, just you and I LaVar.

(01:28):
Maybe we're gonna allow Jonas to focus on Jaks on Saturday,
so maybe he's gonna eventually allow us to focus in
on me and you doing the show. It was okay,
well I'm just saying that, you know, but truth be told,
I was actually in town. So that was Friday. There
were stuff going on. Monday there were stuff going on. Yeah,
so it was kind of a kind of a weird

(01:49):
weekend with a show. Yes, that was Friday. Was my
son's birthday, and so we had a bunch of stuff
going on birthday and then Saturday came around. But listen,
you know it was Saturday, right, main event. I mean,
I again, I don't know what to tell you. Just
the main event was there and they needed something filled in.

(02:10):
So I'm talking about what were your topics? What were
your subjects. I mean a lot of NFL Big NFL
guy here, football guys. Somebody call me, yeah, big football guy.
U didn't happen to venture into any of the previewing
of the Final four because obviously that took place before
the Final four, which you know culminated last night and
the cutting down of the nets for Yukon who's your

(02:33):
national champion? Throttling every single opponent along the way in
double digits, there have been a more dominant performance, no
like numbers wise, because they listed off. The last time
it happened, it was twenty eighteen. Villanova did it. Then
it was North Carolina back in two thousand and nine.
I think they were They were the first to win

(02:55):
it all six tournament games by thirteen plus points. That's
the first team to do it. Yeah, we've never seen
the team do what they've done and how they've done it.
I mean, I'll be honest with you. I was watching
the score got to fifty six to fifty and I
was like, Okay, let's see what happens here. That was
with eight minutes left in the second half. San Diego
State scored nine points the rest of the way. Are

(03:16):
you saying they were a hard time finding the hoop
like those uh yeah, not not the most ideal championship game.
I was just hoping that we were going to get
a really good game, much like San Diego State FAU, which,
by the way, apologies Brady Quinn. I know you are
an owl, a hoodie who through and through with FAU.

(03:36):
Just just a heartbreaking finish for that, for that program,
and then you get San Diego State last night who
just couldn't find a basket. Could I be awest with you? Guys? Man?
I was? I was so fired up for it, and
they led I want to say almost, I don't know.
It was it eighty percent of the game. I mean,

(03:56):
they were really in control and down the stretch I
was watching, I'm like, oh, gosh, okay, we just need
to try to get a foul. Get to the foul.
Why aren't I saying we I didn't even go there, FA.
You just needs to try to get a foul, get
to the free throw line because they were in the
bonus at that point, and once that shot was blocked,
I just I literally put my hands on my knees

(04:16):
and I've bent over. And my daughters were watching because
they were rooting for him. They're like doing the whole
who d you know? All that? And as they watched
the shot go in, they looked at me and I
just put my hands on my face and I was
just like I just walked away, and they go, Daddy,
what's wrong. I'm like, I was like, after you lost.
The team we were rooting for lost and they're like, oh, well,
it's okay, daddy, and I was just like, no, it's

(04:38):
not okay. They will never be back here ever again.
I was like, this was their shot. There was their
chance to get to a national championship in the NCAA tournament.
And look, I'm not saying this to be disparaging on FAU.
It's just so hard for a school that's not a
Power five, not one of the blue bloods, to be
able to consistently make get in. It was the first

(05:01):
and probably will be the last time, even though FAUS
looking at really, you know, putting more of the resources
back in the basketball program. It's just it's so hard
to get there for a program like that. Yeah, I
also wonder just that program because a lot of people
point to Butler. When Butler went back to back final fours,
but the likely to your point of that ever happening

(05:24):
again is just such a long shot. And then you
got to wonder about just that coach, because Shaka Smart
took a team to a you know, I went on
a deep tournament run. Yeah, and then all of a
sudden he was getting poached by Texas. Now he's at Marquette,
So you just wonder, you know, Dusty May and those
guys at FAU, just a heartbreaking situation when that shot,
when that shot left for San Diego State at the

(05:47):
end of that game, there was no doubt in my
mind that shot was going in. It just had the vibe.
It's just the whole look, the feeling, and just the picture.
Look way frantic getting there though, didn't it. It was
kind of rantic, like, God, he's a little bit rushed.
He doesn't he wasn't sure if he wanted to pass
or it didn't look like he was committed to shooting

(06:09):
it like it did. But it worked out. I'd be
did you work out for him? It's a fun game.
And then and then Yukon stepped in and again and
showed him a blue blood. Yeah, double digits, double digits,
So are we saying, are we saying that Yukon is back.
Are you saying that that all of a sudden it
is a blue blood? They were dominant, best team in

(06:30):
the tournament by far, not even close. Well, blue blood
meaning that that's historical, right, Yeah, what we consider Yukon
a historical I mean this is their fifth fifth title, right, Yeah,
but they nobody expected him to do this. But I'm
saying you would consider that to be a blue bloo Yeah, okay, yeah,
that's one of the ones. Yeah, I mean I would

(06:52):
say with Dan Hurley as their coach. Shoot, by the way,
I absolutely love He's awesome. I Mean, if you guys
didn't see some of the quotes from his like pregame presser,
he basically stated that the San Diego State was older
than five NBA teams, they're starting five. He was talking
about how easy his job is because he's got three
NBA players on his roster. He's just I mean, he

(07:14):
literally lays it all out there, just shoots. He's a
straight shooter, um doesn't mess around. And it's so refreshing
when you get a personality like Dan Hurley and like
any of the Hurlies. I think anyone who's talked to them,
you get a sense of all that. But I'm excited
for him. I'm excited for obviously Yukon to be back
on top of them in the men's basketball world, which

(07:35):
I should just say basketball ward in general, because the
women's has always been, you know, right in the mix too. Yeah,
it's also nice to see he was the Hurley that
didn't get a lot of the fanfare and attention because
his older brother was the national champion. Lottery plays Bobby
or Danny, Bob Hurley Bob, Yeah, Danny's And so now
Danny Hurley's got his own national championship. How about that

(07:57):
just goes all the way seton Hall. I remember him
at Sea, Yeah, when he was playing there. So yeah,
now you've got a national champion in Yukon. I just
I'm fascinated to see what the numbers are going to
be as far as the ratings and the views on
this because man o man tickets were readily available if
you wanted them right up until tip off. I mean,

(08:18):
I'll ask this, does they didn't even beat the women's
the women's at almost ten million viewers, I don't think so.
I mean, I'll be curious. I hate the Monday night
game anyway, and and the fact that we have to
put it at nine pm Eastern. I do think there's
a bunch of people on the East Coast like what
are we doing? And I know we want to imagine that.
Well that's the thing is they want to get the

(08:40):
West coast audience like that's the reality. But you guys
in the West coast be able to have them tune in. Yeah, yeah,
I mean what was what are the other what would
you rather put it on a Sunday just rolled out
in the evening. It's tough because this time is still
the same thing. Yeah, you're will face the same day.

(09:00):
I think you could do it earlier if you do
this Sunday, which would be nice. It was for viewership. Yeah, oh,
I don't know why we can't highlight men's and women's
the same day, Like you know, you look at what
the women's were able to do, and I think you
could put the men's after. So you could have like
a two o'clock start and a four you know, or
excuse me, like a five o'clock, six o'clock start on

(09:21):
a Sunday and they could roll into one another. Like
to me, that would be really, really neat if you're
looking at trying to and I know some people might say, well,
we want to highlight the women's for the women's sport,
the men's for the men's But I think it'd be
cool if, you know, you end up having a national
championship venue where like two championships are being played in
that venue. To me, it'd be pretty sweet. Yeah. I
think the Women's Final Four, with all the storylines and

(09:42):
Caitlyn Clark and what she did, is there a bunch
of storylines was just pretty much Caitlyn Clark. Yeah. I
feel like we've never seen any sort of viewership like
this until Caitlyn Clark was involved in as good as
she is. I mean, we talked about it last week.
They were getting twelve and a half points against South Carolina,
just you know, she's gonna put up like three hundred

(10:04):
shots in that game if she just gets a little
bit hot or goes on a streak. That seemed like
it was a pretty solid bet. But unfortunately they came
up short in the National championship games. And now you
get a bunch of other storylines that are out there
that well, you know, there's trash talk and she did
that you can't see me, and then it got done
to her, and so now there's this double standard. It's
like we can't just enjoy good basketball with fun storylines

(10:28):
that somebody's got to turn it into some some argument
about you know, what does this mean? Is there is
this racially motivated some of these It's just there's always
something that's got to steer away from the topic at hand.
Which was a great event for women's college basketball. They
should be really really excited about it. The numbers probably
did better than the men's but unfortunately now we just
get caught up in the weeds with some of the

(10:48):
other craft that goes on. It's unfortunate. You know, just
gamble and watch sports. It's that simple, and don't get
too stuck on anything else. Yes or two a competitive game, Yeah,
two top players, you know, for two two big programs.
Shouts out to the Big ten, you know, for representing us.

(11:11):
Yeah right, you know, it is unfortunate that people create
things to choose sides. You know, it's like what just
happened to just okay, I disagree with the way it
was handled, and that's it. Yeah, you know, go figure, right,
we gotta have an all outracial like war ensue. You know,

(11:34):
everybody is fighting for equal rights and liberties, and it's like,
you know, can't you just disagree with the way you
felt she handled it if you fell on that side
of it, Like, you know what, I didn't like the
way she handled it? Done? Moving on like congratulations, just

(11:54):
didn't like that? Bad? Look? Okay? Great? Or I didn't care,
or I love her, I think she's nope, what like whatever.
It's just it's so crazy to me how this stuff
is so flipping manufactured. It's just so manufactured. And then
here come the social media thumpers that come out of there,

(12:19):
you know, come out of wherever they're at. And I
have to be the authority on speaking on racial relations
as it applies to black athletes and different things like that.
And I'm an expert, you know, come on, man, did
you see what? I can't join us so I can't happen. Yeah, yeah,
by default, Brady and I have to take Caitlin clarkside

(12:39):
on this. It's amazing to me. It's amazing to me
how certain people just pop up immediately when there is
a an issue connected to sports and and black and
and and and when it turns uncomfortable. It's just strange
to me, man. And you know, you're not even American,

(13:01):
like you're not even like your like first generation or
something like that. And it's like people want to be
authorities and I don't know, man, it's just strange to me,
like all manufacture. I'll say this quickly about the whole
situation you've I know who started. I know I could.
I'm not going down that roal either. I just if

(13:25):
you're Caitlin Clark, but you have to be responsible for
the things that you do, right, Like you have to
be accountable for like all right, if you do this,
look when you lose, someone might do it back in
front of you, right. Or The thing that I thought
was the funniest was when she decided to not go
out on the girl who was sitting at the three
point line. I believe that wasn't what the South Carolina. Yeah,

(13:47):
And I'm sitting to myself, going, dude, I've done that
in pickup game is forever because I'm thinking to myself,
I'm not gonna have you beat me to the bucket.
To me, that's way more demoralizing than seeing if you
could shoot an open three's. That's not disrespectful. What's disrespectful
is a young girl or a young man who has
a wide open three that has no confidence and being

(14:09):
able to shoot that shot, like they didn't want to
come out and guard you go and make that shot.
But ultimately, look, if if you make a gesture, I
don't care if it's to your own bench, which was
what Caitlin Clark was doing in the Louisville game. Even
if you do that, you have to be understanding, like
people are gonna do it back against you. People remember
Johnny Manzel in the whole money sign. Yeah, yeah, when

(14:30):
they lost. Do you not think people went back and
did that right in the space? Happened all the time,
So yeah, what was the bull from the BOSSA didn't
forget and did it in a pro game, pro game?
That's right? Yeah, I mean he did it back to
him in a pro game, Baker Mayfield. He Bosta did
it back to Baker because the flag planning, which yeah,

(14:51):
I'm not gonna go down that. But the other side
of this is when you lose, you can't control how
the other team chooses to sell a right, That's just
part of sports. Like if you're looking for them to
celebrate with good sportsmanship or act the right way, or
act how you want them to act. No, you're a loser.
You don't get the shoes. Like that's how it works. Like,

(15:14):
the bottom line is Caitlyn Clark, it was the best
player in college basketball. There's no doubt about it. This
is really only a story because Reese decided to do
it to Caitlyn Clark. If she did it to any
other Iowa basketball player, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
But the reality is she did it to the best
girl who did it earlier and then made a big
deal about it, so now we're talking about it. But

(15:35):
the truth is Elsie was the best team. Caitlyn Clark's
the best player, and that's the only reason we're talking
about it is because it happened to be something a
gesture that was done to the best player. Otherwise one
with white one was black. Oh bet again, if Reese
does that to any other player in Iowa, you're not
hearing us talk about it. Yes, you know, I'm just

(15:55):
saying we had to do with Kitlyn Clark. If Caitlyn
or the other young lady were if there, if the
racial differences weren't there, I don't even think it's a story.
If it's two black people, it's not a story. I
think it's if it's even not even on Kilan Clark,
it's not a story because because no one's going to
focus on any of the other Iowa players, and no

(16:17):
disrespect to the other Iowa players that girl carries. Yeah,
she's she's the one whip. It was a perfect storm.
You had the best player in college basketball I would
I would argue most exciting player men's or women's over
the past a couple of weeks especially, and then you
also had the the black white dynamic, and to Levar's point,

(16:40):
the usual suspects popped up out of nowhere, pop up.
They all like the saw I heard somebody make this
comparison one time. It's called like the social outrage pod.
When there's like some sort of an issue or something
like that, it's almost like an alarm goes off and
they wake up out of their pods and they just
start looking for stuff to complain about, like, oh, I
think we got something in here, and that's exactly what

(17:01):
this was. Like Jesse Jackson and now Sharpton and guys
like that in the past, Like you ever noticed like
the minute there's something that's just horribly wrong. Boom. You
know how bad it is when you see Jesse Jackson
and Al Sharpton, Right, that's like some of these dudes
that's coming out and on these social media handles and
these feeds like acting like they're experts on race relations

(17:25):
as it applies to sports, white people, black people, and
other like like please, man, save the drama for your mama,
because we don't need it. Like it just it just
blows me away and then everybody just eats it up. Well,
she did it in another game. There was no need
for justification, qualification or disqualification. There was no need for

(17:50):
any of it, none of it. Just if you liked it,
you liked it. If you didn't, you did it. Bottom
line like that, it just shouldn't have been any bigger
than that, Like it took away from the game. It
became the storyline of the game, and it took away
from a really really good game. Man. Like that was
like a historical game, you know in the matches like
points scorer, I mean else you kind of kicked their ass.

(18:11):
So yeah, but but historical in the sense that you're
talking about two big, big time players that are are
going to go head ahead against each other. Angel is
like the number two player coming out when she came
out of high school. So it's like, you have you
had a serious matchup in terms of the type of
caliber of player as well as as the caliber coaching,

(18:35):
as well as the caliber of teams. So it just
I feel like these are storylines that could have been
discussed and talked about, but they got replaced with well,
she did it in another game, so it was just
it was right for it to happen to her in
this game if it did, Like, Noah, I don't buy that.
I don't buy that. For two seconds, like you don't

(18:58):
You didn't have the moment you decide to justify, you
became a part of the problem. All God, you became
a part of the problem the moment you started to
justify it. Be sure to catch live editions of Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington,
and Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. So

(19:22):
apparently we've got ourselves a potential killing of two stories
with one stone, because the Baltimore Ravens. This, according to
Adam Schefter, have offered Odell Beckham Junior a contract. Now
his asking price was down reportedly from the twenty million

(19:42):
dollars a year he was seeking to the fifteen million
dollars a year range that he was seeking, and he
kind of threw out there on social media and had
it hinted at the fact that he felt like he
was worth more than four million dollars a year. So
I feel like it's, you know, somewhere in the middle there,
maybe he's worthy. Likely landing spot is on all this,
but the likely landing spot or possible landing spot could

(20:04):
be Baltimore, as they have offered Odell Beckham Junior a contract,
which just makes you wonder, are they offering Odell Beckham
Junior a contract to try and get the attention of
somebody else to maybe possibly come back and try and
make things right there. Could this be a little bit
of an olive branch to Lamar Jackson and maybe the

(20:24):
Baltimore Ravens feel like, look, if we can't give him
the two hundred and thirty one million dollars guaranteed, at
least we can get him one of everybody's favorite wide
receivers and players in the NFL and a little bit
more help on that offense. Maybe we've got two things
going on here at the same time. Yeah, And I
also think though it could be. I mean, this is
an interesting move to me because and you guys tell

(20:47):
me if I'm seeing this wrong, why as of Odell Beckham,
Because as of right now, we don't know if anyone
else has offered anything. We know the Jets are interested in.
I believe they were just both out of a basketball
game recently, both Odell and Robert Sala, who is close
with the new Phoenix Suns owner. But you know, and

(21:07):
I know that's where Odell Beckham trains in the off season,
but they were just both out there together randomly. That
being said, it seems like the Baltimore is the only
one that's really made an offer, at least trying to
get his services officially done. So if Odell says no,
is that somewhat of an indictment on Lamar Jackson. I mean,

(21:29):
this is obviously assuming that Lamar comes back to the
Baltimore Ravens doesn't sit out the season. But Baltimore is
trying to do the best they can to supply him
with guys around him to help him out. They're also
they're given a guy who you know is viewed, I
guess what health is one of the top receivers in
the league, or at least at one point was. And
so now you're giving him a shot to come on

(21:50):
the roster. And if he says no, is that I
could maybe another slap into face to Lamar? Or is it?
Do you think he just has more to do with
the fact that Odell's got his eyes set New York
joining Aaron Rodgers. They're you know, friends off the field,
and that's what this more has to do with That
might be more it? I think I think Obj might

(22:11):
even be holding out to see if he could get
the contract that he wants. I mean, that ain't happening.
Well tell that to Lamar Jackson too, So I on
the same topic. It's like, I mean, for some reason,
they don't believe that. So he may be sitting there

(22:32):
believing that there's the opportunity that may be coming out
of the draft. Somebody doesn't get who they wanted to get,
or things are a little bit more defined and how
how a team is going to look, and that could
be his opportunity to get, you know, somewhere close to
what it is he's looking for. I don't think it's

(22:54):
because he doesn't want to play with Lamar Jackson. I
think it would the order that I would put it
in for me would be probably he's probably hoping that
he can get a higher offer or number two play
with Aaron Rodgers in New York can go back to
that media market where if he doesn't get the type

(23:14):
of money that he was looking for, you're not making
that money up in Baltimore, but you could make you
honey up in New York. You also are making any
money if you're not on a team and roster. So
that means I mean, there is that element of it too,
where he's got to he's gotta get on a roster
and get back playing again at some point, doesn't he
I mean you would assume. I mean, but if that's

(23:35):
the case, then why aren't we announcing that that the
deal is being done? You know, if if this is
if this is one of those situations where he has
to get like he feels that that desk maybe he
is Lamar's agent. Yeah, I leave that there. This is

(23:55):
a great point, like this is a possibility if you
have the same assition this is, I was gonna I
ain't gonna do it. I ain't gonna do it. I
ain't going to it because I liked Teyo, I like
Matt do it. I was gonna take a I was
gonna fire or shot up. But hey man, t Tello
did all right. Listen, he recovered nicely. I was going

(24:18):
to say, though, the original girl that one too, So
I got it out there. So if you, if you
were Odell Beckham Junior, because it looks like if he's
got to do this on a one year prove it
deal to show everybody that he can still play at
a high level and then and they healthy. Yeah, and
then if he wants to go get a contract elsewhere,
to me, the team that would make all the sense

(24:40):
in the world will be Kansas City. You just see
what Juju Smith Schuster did. And I know it's not
the twenty million dollars that he was seeking, but Juju
had had a pretty solid bounce back year and then
parlay that into a multi year contract with New England.
Can I add this to what you're saying, Jonas, Yeah,
every year for for Odell Beckham Junior is going to
be a prove it year for the rest of his career.

(25:02):
So it's too old, right, It's so yeah, So it's
not in theory that that is not the theory and
theory o obj is going to have to prove it
every single year that he's on a roster, So those
teams are going to have it situated that way. Then
would it be better for him to do it in
Baltimore or with the Jets? Where I feel like in Baltimore,

(25:25):
like he could ultimately turn into the guy as far
as the receiver position goes in New York with the Jets,
they're they're kind of stuck. Like the Jets are kind
of loaded, and they've got They've got a lot of
talent there. Garrett Wilson was phenomenal. It just feels like
Baltimore would make the most sense if he was trying

(25:45):
to put some put up some numbers and and try
and get the contract he's looking for on a prove
it deal next year in the offseason. That feels like
it would make the most sense. It's why I keep
kind of going back to like, would it be a
slate to Lamar? I mean, he had the contract and
how much he gets paid might matter, but it kind
of it's a Jonas's point. If you could be in

(26:06):
a situation where you're the definitive, clear cut number one,
and I don't know that he would get more targets
and more receptions than Mark Andrews. It seems like since
Mark Andrews has gotten there, that offense has really catered
towards him, and Lamar has got a good, good chemistry
with him. But there has to be an element of
you can go to New York and you can earn
some marketing money and all that. But if he's only

(26:26):
getting you know, sixty catches, sixty plus catches we're in Baltimore,
he might get a hundred. It's a big difference as
far as how he's perceived in the league, and I
think where he looks, you know, where he's ranked a
statistically speaking, and if you are and I proved year
every single year, that's a big difference too, between you know,
you being a guy who just proved it and you'd
being a guy that, yeah, he had a good year,

(26:46):
but we're kind of still looking for more or maybe
he's on the decline, right, I mean, that's that to
me is still something that I think you have to
factor into it if you were Odell Beckham, because as
of right now, we don't know if New York's offered
him anything, and so you might be waiting for an
offer forever that never comes. And at some point Baltimore
has to move on and they've got to continue to

(27:07):
keep constructing this roster to help them win games. It's
crazy to think that this deal still hasn't done. Like
they're they're flirting openly with Aaron Rodgers and openly with
Ob j and the Jets still don't have either guy.
It's kind of weird, you know, It's kind of weird
how the Jets operate when it comes to pursue the
big time names. If that deal falls through, I am

(27:31):
going to be I don't know, I don't know what
I'm I don't know, but I'm going to be very entertained.
How about the least thankful at a moment? That's going
to be one of the great storylines that we've gotten
to do here on this show if this deal, Because
the next chapter is just getting started, So now what
happens next? Yeah, I wonder what it is. You know,

(27:53):
It's like the Jets keep negotiating, they keep up, they
keep kind of jabbing the packers, you know, keep giving
them more and more jabb was to try to get
this deal done, you know. But it's it's weird. I mean,
I don't know if the Jets or you know, the
the Jets organization has any history of just continually jabbing people,
you know, and trying to trying to prove their point,

(28:14):
you know, and trying to make you know, make make
it known like this is the best way of doing things. Yeah,
just it's that a playoff of what do you mean
when I flew over my head? I mean, what are
you Johnson the owner Johnson and Johnson family, But what
do you mean? Oh, oh, there's all you're talking about.
They apparently can't get this thing done and they just

(28:38):
keep jabbing on the Packers and Aaron Rodger get it right.
But I mean maybe Rogers doesn't want to be chapped.
Didn't why, I don't know. I mean, it's they just
have a more moderna I mean modern approach towards towards
where they how they handle this stuff, you know, in
comparison to other teams. So there's that that whole stuff
out there. I mean fives. I mean if I was
if I was Aaron Rodgers, I'd be willing all I

(29:01):
can to put pressure on the other New York Jets
to say, dude, look, offer a second round, in a
visual second round next year. I'm coming to you for
at least two years. All right, let's just say, you know,
two years, and I will be when I get there. Um,
I'll be your guy, you know, I'll be I'll be

(29:21):
the guy you're looking for. I'll be like your doctor
Fauci Johnson and Johnson. Yeah you know, Okay, Yeah, that's
that's an interesting approach. It's very interesting. Yeah, you know,
it will come save the days. I mean, that's all.
I just think at some point we've got to, you know,

(29:41):
they got to stop the spread of all these rumors
and all of this other stuff that's going along with
Odell Beckham Junior and Lamar Jackson, and we just got
to get these stories finished. Let's get him done, Let's
get everybody on the same page. And if both these
guys end up in Baltimore, I mean, bye bye to
both those stories. Lamar's there long term, Odell Beckham's there

(30:04):
long term, and now we can focus on on some
of the other stuff that's out there. I'm just tired
of people wearing masks too when they're handling these situations,
Like take the mask off. Just let's talk about, you know,
getting these deals done. I don't try to be someone
you're not, you know, dank you all the way. What okay,
I'm just saying like, let's let's forget the hobbit hole stuff.

(30:24):
Let's just go ahead and let's just get these deals.
Glass gloves yeah those as well too. Yeah, those always help.
So there it is one. That's that's where things stand
on the latest saga involving Odell Beckham Junior. So powder
on that side. Yeah, that powder is a little bit
annoying as well too. Master, you wouldn't be really get

(30:48):
at all. Yeah, I guess that makes some sense. Be
sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and a
Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington and Jonas

(31:33):
in the books. It is a cork in it. Yeah,
put for three and a half years. Well done. I
don't know if you do like that. Did you like that?
I did like that? I mean listened, So show up halves.
You know, well, what do you just talk about it?
I'm just talking about it right to it. Yeah, there's

(31:54):
no point and not talking or addressing it because if
that blew my mind? Yeah, there's how does that happen?
That happen? So yeah, for those of you that are
wondering the process of that, there's a story out there
courtesy of the New York Post, in which a a

(32:14):
cork that you know, goes on like champagne, you know,
stuff like that. A cork was removed from the private
area of a woman after three and a half years
because it was apparently a botched you know, interaction of

(32:37):
the sexual nature that resulted in a missing cork for
three and a half years. So yeah, I feel like
we didn't get dumped on any of that, right, Lee,
That's clear. We're all good there. Profession real professional work
by us. I think as far as as far as
I'm concerned, How do you not know there's a cork there?
You do? I mean, wouldn't wouldn't that be one of

(32:59):
the things like why that's going on? And after everyone's
all happy and hanging out, you're like, oh, hey, by
the way, what en did that cork? Ye? I see
it anywhere? I mean, if I'm the person using the cork,
I would want to know where the cork is exactly.
I'm a chivalrous thing to do, I mean, I mean,

(33:22):
that's a sensible thing to do. You don't want to
lose the carbonation on you can't I mean, yeah, you
can't read coork. But not that that was a different
type of That was the say yeah that's gone. I mean,
you know for three and a half years. I mean,
is is there a chance it was just a piece

(33:43):
of the cork? I mean, it's it's been exaggerated. We're
talking about like blown. How's it a story? If you've
got to stuff that in a bottle right now. See
to me, it's got to be a real cork. Lee
have you have you looked into this at all? And
this is different types of cork too, Like there is
a wine cork and then there's a like a Champaigne court.

(34:04):
That Champaigne court expands. Yeah, you can't put that one
back in. Yeah, So that seems like it would have
been the go too. I like how they went back
and figured out you know, it was three and a
half years, like they actually I did the math figured
it out, like, oh yeah, that's when that encounter happened. Yeah.
How many times does that encounter happened? I mean don't

(34:25):
you think that'd be an outlier? And by the way,
if they find anything else by dated it, like you
could actually be like, oh yeah that was in April.
By the way, the fact that it took three and
a half years, I mean, what were you doing the
last three and a half years, Like seems like things
might I dried up a little bit, you know, to
talk about outer space aging, yeah, I mean, I mean

(34:47):
that is an outer space experience. If you could go
three and a half years not knowing that something's floating
around yeah. Yeah, I'm not even gonna go any further
because I don't I don't want the red light either,
So but I'm just saying that's an outer space experience, Like,
how do you have a foreign object just hanging out

(35:09):
for years years plural? Maybe it was corked in there somewhere.
I don't know human anatomy well enough to know if
there's like, uh, maybe we used as BC, you know, yeah,
there you go. Yeah, lost something. Yeah, I don't know,
big time. Well if that was like the alternative, you know,

(35:30):
they weren't sure what to do, just use a cork.
Took it literally to put a cork in it literally. Yeah,
I agreed. I agree. I mean listen and they were
popping champagne last night after Yukon won themselves another national championship. Yeah, well,
somebody was a victim last they were victim there, somebody

(35:53):
starting a new three and a half years I'm not
quite sure, but graduate the Ukonskis who get it done
and they win another national championship, and obviously are you know,
I feel bad for our friends on San Diego Sports
seven sixty, our fine affiliate down there at San Diego,
and come on, was awful. In the final four game,

(36:17):
it was awful. They did everything they could to give
San Diego Stated chance and in the end the end
up winning it. Are you saying that San Diego State
they were preferring that they get there as opposed to FAU, Yes, okay, yes,
based on how ticket prices looked there in Houston, I
don't think they were overly excited about you know, an FAU,
which is isn't it not that San Diego State's a

(36:37):
big brand, but it's probably a little bigger than FU. Yeah,
so it looked like there was a lot of San
Diego State fans in the crowd. Well, yeah, tickets were
like two bucks. What do you mean? Okay, even if
even if they weren't fans, they were there. They were
they were there. Yeah, if you say pumped up, if
you paid twenty bucks, you probably played the second half
for San Diego State at some point. I mean, there
was nobody at that game. Like I want to know,

(36:59):
I don't want to I want to see how much
they've lied about the attendance numbers, and I want to
see what the ratings are for for what's last night's
game did. Because Brady, you mentioned nine point nine million
for the women's championship. Why do we need to have
championship basketball games in the final four in football stadiums?
They don't. Someone helped me, like if you I don't

(37:20):
even know if that matchup would have sold out a
random destination for a national championship or final four anyway,
and a basketball right now, I never understand I'll never
understand nosebleed level spectators. I'll never understand it. If if
you look like a dot and a spec to me

(37:41):
from the football field, then you know what I'm assuming
I look like a dot in a suspect to you
for you're city. Seventy two thousand, four hundred and twenty
three is what they're claiming. Is the number that was
at employees, employees, anybody, anybody driving by shot out how

(38:05):
many people in the twelve Okay, hey, have you ever
been to this stadium before? Yeah, all right, that's one. Uh.
They're just gonna go ahead, uh and clear everything up there. Yes, yeah,
they're all part of account seventy two four twenty three.
By the way, did you allow front to come on ahead?
Did you hear the numbers at WrestleMania this weekend in
La how many they did? One hundred and sixty one thousand.

(38:26):
Crazy they did over eighty thousand both nights. So more
people went to WrestleMania than are claiming went to this
National Championship. But it was the end of an era.
Jim Nance, the great broadcaster for CBS. Uh, it's it's
over for him. He's not going to call the final
four anymore. This was the last hurrah for Jim Nance,

(38:47):
and he wanted to make sure that he got to
do it on his terms. And so here was Jim
Nance saying goodbye for one final time. One thing I
learned through all this is everybody has a dream. Everybody
has a story to tell. Just try to find that story.
Be kind. You've told it better than most. Let me

(39:09):
tell you. Can I tell you one other thing? I
mean this, I've been trying to play off. Hello friends,
but to you, everybody in the college game on CBS,
family and my family and all the viewers, thank you
for being my friend. Yeah, thanks Jim. We'll see you
during the Master's coverage later on this week. Thank you

(39:31):
appreciate it. Jim, we appreciate it. I don't go don't
say thank you to the friend I'm not I don't
know you. That was a bit much. I do feel
like Facebook ruined the definition of friends. We're Facebook friends, like, okay, no,
we're not, Like, don't put the word friends in anything

(39:51):
else unless like you're actually friends with someone, like I
don't know where we lost at Queens. You know, hello
a Queens is that's kind of more what what associate? Yeah, yeah,
associate associate with you like I would say hello, there's
something to you. But friends that's a harsh that's that's
a hard word for me to use. You know, no
new ones for certain you know, I don't like making

(40:14):
new friends. I mean he's still calling NFL games, He's
still going to do the which come on, man, I
mean it's emotional. He's done that. He's in the final
four and the you know, the basketball tournament. For a while,
I was joking about I'm France his friend. I like
Jim Nance, I'm a fan of him. He'll be miss
he did. He did, He's done a brilliant job of calling,

(40:34):
you know, calling basketball game. So you see what, man,
there's a knack for those guys, like like, it's something
where people always feel like, oh I could do it.
Anyone can do it, you know, and not the too.
Jonas is horn but like even big being a lead host,
Jonas host, like there's something to it, you know, there's something,
there's a style, there's a manner which they do it.
They make it sound easy, so people listening think that

(40:57):
like it's easy to do, but it's not, and you
tried it, they would struggle. So to that point though,
like LaVar, like, I think Jim is one of the
best ever do it. Yeah, I know he's still working
so we can joke about this, but yeah, I did
just put Jim nance and Jonas knocks that. By the way,

(41:18):
that's the nicest thing Brady's ever said to me. I'll
take that. I will. I will gladly take that lead.
Can we have eight that and just do a little
bit of a cut there and just see if we
can make it even like just so our names are
right next to each other. Man, you know, you don't
even know. But he will be back again later on
this week for Master's coverage. I do I would love
to know amongst all the people that Jim nas not

(41:42):
even that I mean no, since since we're on, and
can we play the Masters theme song? Because I know
this really revs Brady's engine, Like I think it's anybody.
Oh God, come on, LaVar. It lets me want to joke.
Come on, like sounds like you're like going into like

(42:05):
a funeral. Is this what Robert dude? I think it
is funeral music? Oh yeah, absolutely, yeah, Like when they
played like the the like photo photo reels of the
person LaVar? Is this what Robert kim Dic was listening
to before he fell out of the window into that
What do you mean? I don't know, what do you mean?

(42:26):
I doubt it. I think it was a little bit
more on your side of the music. He thought he
was He thought he was being chased by Calisi's dragon
and he jumped out of a window. It was blowing
fire out of What's that that synthetic weed? Is that
what that is? That's what it was, that synthetic weed.
I mean, this is a good music. Man, This just

(42:47):
gets you. Jim Nance should have said his goodbye last night.
This just good bye a friend like this feels more,
but it would kind of be a hello at the
same time because you just be starting Masters week. I
would love to know if Jim Nance had to rank
anybody's ever worked with who's below Tony Romo, because I
don't think anybody is. You love harping on this because

(43:09):
I don't think he likes working with Tony Romo, and
he'll never tell that, to tell that story, but I
don't think he likes I think his choice. Yeah, but
choices sometimes she looked back later. Look, you look back
later on, and uh, you know, maybe it wasn't the
best decision I ever made. I just feel like Jim

(43:30):
nance not not crazy about working with Tony Romo. I'm
not sure if you guys are trying to lead to
other maybe life decisions you've made, but I'm gonna stay
out of that. Oh I've made strong life decisions. I
ain't gonna lie I feel I feel solid and not
call them. Yeah, okay, yeah, but you're excited about the Masters, right, Yeah,
you're stoked about the Masters. Man, start putting the dirt

(43:51):
on it. Drop a rose rose? What was a tiger
one it once? If he's in the mix, I don't care.
I equally don't care about Tiger Woods. Woods did not
draw me in, like, oh my gosh, one of us Like, nah,

(44:13):
it didn't draw me in, like it didn't get Okay, Okay,
but hold on, the reason why I bring this up
is because in the past I've brought Tiger up and
it's almost like there's some sort of angst you have
against them. I don't know what it is. I don't
I don't have no, I don't not at all. I
have no cross pass and you're nope, I have no

(44:34):
no feeling towards him one way or the other. Nope,
not at all, Like no thoughts on anything anything golf related. No.
And you know, his chicks aren't good looking chicks, so
it's not like you could get on board with like
having conversations about them, like they're not like Lindsay Vaughan is.

(44:56):
She's you know, she's all right. But you know, it's
it's like you see the people that that he gets
caught up with. It's like, why would you get caught
up with that person? This person's trying to get thirty
million out of you. You're going to give that person
thirty million dollars? Like, man, but that's just me, Like, hey,
you no, far. Maybe it's about what's on the inside. Yeah,

(45:18):
Maybe it's about what's on the inside, man. Yeah, But well,
I guess that's it's all meet people you know, full
circle could be a cord. It could be a cord.
I'm gonna put a cork in it before I get
in trouble, So I'm gonna slop right there thirty million dollars.
If you get hooked up with people, you can get
to know them for the inside of you know what

(45:40):
I mean. It's like to meet this, meet my friend,
this is a good person, this and that. But you're
still generally gonna want that initial physical attraction. Anybody who
says that that isn't true, They're a liar. You're lying.
You're lying to yourself if you believe that to be different,
unless you like take class with somebody or you know,
they were to your study group and then you got

(46:02):
an opportunity to get to know their mind and different
things like that. Like that's that's pretty awesome. You know,
it's pretty awesome. But you still want to have a
physical attraction there, right, I mean, yeah, of course you
don't want to look back. It's always been the case
for you, right, Lafara. You want a physical attraction, yeah, always,
I mean, it's always had to be there for you.
I have always been shadow like that. I'm not afraid

(46:25):
to admit that either. I mean, you never want to
look back every scenario. You have always been shallow, man.
You never want to look back. You never want to
look back and say, I'm really going to do this,
like you never want to have those moments at all, ever, ever, ever,
definitely not. I'm pretty shallow. Yeah. I've discussed it myself
in life. So what I've been disgusted at decisions I've

(46:48):
made in life. So what So what I'm really going
to do this? Oh, LeVar, I meant to tell you
I saw a Penn stater yesterday. It's you for a while,
John Carter. Oh, great, dude, man, that's my cal told
me to tell you Lott's mast the key. Yeah, that's
my guy. Man. He needs to be in in college

(47:10):
Hall of Fame too. Man, that's like he's one of
the great I mean outside of Rashaun Salam having the
year that he had. I mean, man, it should have
been he should have been a shoeing win Heisman that year.
So they should have been national champs that year too,
by the way, but you know, shouts out the keys, Johanna. Well,
he's an Ohio guy. He is an Ohio guy bowling

(47:33):
ball calfs man little ankles and bowling ball calves. Yeah,
he doesn't. He doesn't need calf in plants. No, no,
them things are ginormous. He's all legs too, like he
had like very little upper body. He's just all legs,
just running all over the place. Man, you're on gone
out of there? Ask Oregon? Ask Oregon? Oh Rose Bowl?

(47:57):
First play Rose Rose Bowl MVP. Back out of here. Yeah,
well listen. Uh, that concludes our coverage of Jim Nance's
fine work with CBS during college basketball. So he's back
and he'll be doing the movie. I would assume I
an Eagle, I would assume, but we would be confirmation

(48:18):
on that. I'm not quite sure. But he's fantastic, by
the way, Eagles fantastic, and that would make a lot
of sense. Yeah, yeah, so that that seems like it
would be the Is that? Do we have that confirmedly
we're looking at Iron Eagle? Yeah? There it is, Okay.
I actually prefer Jim Nance is great. I actually think
I an Eagle does a better job Iron Eagle. I

(48:44):
believe it. But at movie, isn't it? Yeah? I am
not Iron Iron Eagle sounds better to me. I mean,
you're not wrong. If this night was Iron Eagle, how many, Leah,

(49:04):
what's the IMDb on Iron Eagle? Well, I'm seeing three. God,
they have a lot of iron. There's four yeah, fo yeah.
Gossa Junior was in the first twenty am I seeing
twenty six percent? Twenty six percent got on? Yeah, twenty percent,

(49:25):
how about it? So there it was. It was a
horrible movie, but it was a movie that you watched
though it is a badass. I mean, you put out
Iron Eagles, now I'm gonna go watch it. I mean, hell,
I think I rented Cocaine Bear just because the name. Yeah, backstory,
But I'd like to point out, is anybody aware that
this is by far and away the most absurd segment

(49:47):
we've ever done in the history of the show. Where
we started to where we finished absolutely off the rails.
We were off the rails so many times were now
back on for some off the rails when you've sent
that text message, we went drove it the forest. We
didn't hit every pine tree, pine cones all over the place.

(50:09):
So I just want to hit him with witches. Oh,
I appreciate, I appreciate it. I thought that I thought
that was gonna go b Q dudes. But it was
too good that you know, the funeral home music. We
talked to Tigers Shorty. You said that, and I'm like, now,
I remember when I heard that last. It wasn't the Masters.

(50:30):
I'm pretty sure I was at a funeral came on. Absolutely.
