Clay tees off on what he calls the biggest blunder ever by any sports commissioner. Outkick.com's Joe Kinsey joins the show to talk A-Rod crying over J-Lo, celebrity women with the most followers, Drew Lock's way into NFL ownership, Aaron Donald's expensive punch and more. Plus, Clay asks Dub and Danny G. how much they'd need to get punched in the face by Aaron Donald, and Dub has an all-time bad answer.

(01:04):
Sports Radio. It's been a lot of talk out there
about the Major League Baseball All Star Game and all
of the fallout since Rob Manfred made the decision to
pull it outside of Atlanta. Now positive sign for the Braves.
And you guys know this. My ten year old has

(01:25):
become such a big Atlanta Braves fan that we watch
every Atlanta Braves game every night in my house. Braves
are five and eight. I know everybody has their favorite
Major League Baseball team. Ronald Lacuna Jr. Right now the
favorite to win the n L m v P. That's
the positive. Negative for the Braves, they aren't very good
and the negative continues to be that they're not going

(01:46):
to host the All Star Game, even though they were
trying to honor Hank Aaron and the impact of Rob
Manfred's decision to pull the All Star Game is now
out because there is a Morning consult a overall poll
that they have done to gauge the reaction inside of

(02:06):
Major League Baseball, and guys and girls, it is the
worst reaction based on the immediate poll result, of any
commissioner decision in the twenty one century. It's not just
that Rob Manford made a bad decision. It's that he
made a disastrous one relative to virtually every decision that

(02:29):
has been made in the twenty one century by any commissioner. Now,
let me explain how this thing works. They pull at morning,
consult Republicans and Democrats and independence to see what their
overall favorability rating is of a variety of different brands,
and sports historically has tended to be pretty evenly favorable

(02:54):
between Democrats and Republicans because sports historically has not been
very political. Whether you're a Democrat, whether you're a Republican,
you're able to sit back and enjoy sports, and sports
brings us together. As I like to say, if you're
in a stadium or an arena and your team wins
and you turn to high five someone, you don't think

(03:15):
about what the politics or the religion, or the race,
or the sexuality or the or the ethnicity of the
person sitting around you is because you were united in
one tribe, whatever that sports tribe might be. You're all
pulling in the same direction. And I think it's great
for cities. I think it's great for states. I think

(03:37):
we need places where we all come together and we
don't have to get wrapped up in our identities which
are often used to divide us. So Major League Baseball
had an overall favorability rating of forty seven among Republicans
and it had an overall favorability rating of about forty

(03:59):
one among Democrats, so pretty favorable. After the decision by
Rob Manfred to pull the All Star Game out of Atlanta,
the favorability rating for Major League Baseball moved from plus
forty seven, which meant that Republicans tended to really like

(04:20):
Major League Baseball all the way down to plus twelve.
One decision wiped out nearly three quarters of the favorability
feeling and rating that Republicans had for Major League Baseball.
And as if that were not bad enough, Democrats didn't

(04:46):
like Major League Baseball really anymore based on their decision
to pull the All Star Game than they did already before.
Putting that into context, major League Baseball and Rob Manfred
managed to alienate a massive portion of their fan base, Republicans,

(05:09):
and they didn't gain anything from Democrats in the process.
This is exactly what I mean by get woke, go
broke as it pertains to sports, because you are not
gaining any fans by interjecting politics directly into sports like

(05:31):
Major League Baseball did, and in the process you are
losing a ton of fans. This to me is a
disastrous business decision, and it's just bad for overall sports
fans everywhere. We have a large listenership of commissioners of executives.

(05:54):
This is the most influential sports talk show in the
morning anywhere in the kind treat by far, and also
the biggest audience anywhere. So I want all of those
guys out there and girls and executives and everybody out
there listening to this right now to think about what
I'm telling you. Rob Manfred could have made a good

(06:17):
decision as it pertained to this controversy to the extent
that there is any real controversy in the first place,
because actually this voting bill in Georgia was a manufactured story.
It wasn't actually doing what was claimed to be done.
They are likely to be more people voting in Georgia
and four because of this bill. That's what virtually everybody

(06:40):
is saying. This was a made up hashtag activism. But
all Rob Manfred had to say was this, I could
have been Major League commissioner for purposes of this decision
and done an infinitely better job protecting the brand in
the business. Here's what I would have said, and this
is not written. This is just me speaking off the
cuff if I or asked a question about this. We

(07:02):
are going to keep the All Star Game in Atlanta
because Atlanta is, to a large extent a majority black city.
Now larger surrounding community also has a large black population.
Atlanta has many minority businesses, and this game is forecast
to provide around a hundred million dollars in economic benefit,

(07:23):
much of which will go to minority businesses. So I
understand there is an argument that we should move the
All Star Game. I don't agree with it because I
think that we are hurting many people who tend to
be living in the Atlanta area, both white, Black, Asian, Hispanic,
many of whom are minority and minority owned businesses. So
as a result, what I have decided to do is

(07:44):
keep the All Star Game in Atlanta because we are
honoring Hank Aaron, who is one of the great stewards
of this game, whose legacy of diversity, inclusion and home
run title is one of the greatest stories that exist
in the history of Major League Baseball anywhere, and I
want to make your that we are honoring the Hammer,
which we would be doing Hank Aaron as loudly and

(08:05):
proudly as we possibly could as a part of these
All Star festivities. But I understand that we live in
a time when many people have many different opinions about
political issues. So if you don't want to play in
the All Star Game, if you are a player, if
you don't want to manage in it because of the
Georgia Bill and what you believe, that is your right.

(08:26):
We won't hold it against you. You can decide not
to play. The same thing is true for any executives
in Major League Baseball who don't want to come. But
I believe the best thing we can do to demonstrate
major League Baseball's values is honor Hank Aaron, play the
All Star Game here and allow everyone in the city
of Atlanta to benefit from the game. Boom, That's all

(08:46):
he had to say. It would have been flawless. I
just did it off the cuff, live on the radio,
and the popularity of Major League Baseball would have stayed
the same or maybe gone up a bit, because that
is a reasonable and eminently lie magical decision the exact
opposite of what Major League Baseball did. This is outkicked

(09:06):
the coverage with Clay Travis. We bring in Joe Kinzie,
who has been covering a lot of different wacky stories
as he always does for OutKick. But I'll start with this, Joe,
you're in Ohio. How is the golfing looking in Ohio?
Right now? Golfing in Ohio, Clay, we are three weeks

(09:28):
ahead of schedule. The grass is green here. We've had
summer already, it's already been in the eighties. We've already
set records. So the golf is looking great right now.
This is wonderful year. Nice, you are ready to roll.
You are prepared for for another season. All right. I
got a bunch of different stories to hit you with
here as we roll into the weekend. Um, let's start here. Uh,

(09:51):
A Rod and the j Lo relationship is over. And
then what happened like a Rod was like looking through
old photos and he a cold Play song in the background. Clay,
this is so disturbing. You know, A Rod has this
history of just disturbing moments in his life and add
this one to it. Uh. He On the day they

(10:13):
officially break up him and him and j Lo. He
records video of him like panning on his uh you know,
his countertop of photos of his relationship, and then it
it pans to a shot of Jennifer and and Alex
written in sand in a heart on the beach and

(10:34):
cold play Fix You the power Ballot Fix You is
playing in the background. It's one of the most disturbing
A Rod moments. Racket Up. It's another one. Uh, poor
a Rod. He just he just cannot stay loyal to
one woman, and this is what happens. Were you surprised?

(10:55):
I mean, first of all, a Rod is now. I
mean it's a little bit of bitter sweet. I would
imagine for a Rod down the one hand, he's breaking
up with j Lo. On the other hand, he's buying
a professional sports franchise, the Minnesota timber Wolves, and by
the way, having to travel back and forth to Minnesota
a lot for a guy who spends most of his
time in southern California southern Florida. I don't know necessarily
would be ideal for him. But were you surprised that

(11:18):
one of the Minnesota Timberwolves players had no clue who
A Rod was? Yeah? I don't believe that for a second, Clay,
I mean, come on, if you want to talk baseball,
like he transcend baseball. He's been on what tug shows?
He's done? Uh, what's the game of the show where
people push their products and stuff that. Yeah, yeah, Shark, Like,

(11:42):
how can you not know who a Rod is? Come on,
I don't believe it. I don't believe it for a second.
You know, it's interesting because so my h thirteen year
old there there there's a car pool and there's a
couple of other girls around his age that right in.
My wife drives them sometimes sometimes they drew with the
other parents. And she was listening to me talk about

(12:03):
I think it was is it Anthony Bennett or whoever
it was that doesn't know a Rod that's on the
Minnesota Timberwolves. She was heard that discussion, and then she
turned down the radio and she turned to both of
the girls in the back of the car and she
was like, do you guys know because because my argument
was even if you don't know a Rod, that j
LO is so wildly popular that a lot of people

(12:25):
would know a Rod through j LO. And the example
I was using, I think on the radio was lots
of people. For Chris Humphries is not that famous, right,
lamar Odom in the grand scheme of things not that
famous either, But lots of people know both of those
guys as pro athletes because they were married however, short
to Uh, the Kardashians, Right, you had Uh, lamar Odom

(12:49):
was married to Chloe Kardashian and Uh, and then you
had Chris Humphries and uh and other guys who were
married to Kim Kardashian. Right, whatever, But it's stunned me.
Both of these girls had never heard of j Lo.
What percentage of people, yeah, what percentage of people out
there listening to me right now would be able to

(13:09):
pick in your mind j Lo out of a photo lineup?
Like any age right, any age right now. I'm actually
curious for everybody who's listening, because my wife was like, yeah,
I think you're overrating how famous j LO is, especially
with younger people, because she hasn't done music in a
very long time. I was like, wait, she did the
Super Bowl halftime show last year in Miami and it

(13:32):
was one of the most popular super Bowl halftime shows
of ever. Now, she did it with Shakira, but j
Los fifty three, fifty four, whatever she is. I feel
like almost everyone listening to me, regardless of age, knows
j Lo quite by the way she did Eve. She's
been extremely active since dating a Rod. They combined forces.

(13:54):
She has like her own I I you probably know
this better than me, but I think she has like
her own clothing line, her own perfume, her own like makeup,
like all that stuff. Right. She's Kardashian like in the
way that she has used her brand to make a
lot of money outside of it. Absolutely, I'm I mean, listen,
I'm gonna say, of your listeners know who j is?

(14:17):
All right? I think that's a that's a fair number. Like,
I think j Lo would be more recognizable if they
put their picture up than the Vice president, like Kamala
Harris would be. If I had to bet on who
people would be able to recognize in a photo lineup,
I think j Lo would dunk all over the Vice
president right now, all right, A bunch of other stories
that are out there, Uh, we have got um Trevor

(14:40):
Lawrence and dub. You just said how many Instagram followers
does she have? She has a hundred million. Who has
the most Instagram followers right now? Do we know, like, well,
how does that? I mean, I know that's a lot,
but I don't know how many that is relative to
like super famous people in other words, like how many followers?
Does what singer would have more than j Lo? Like

(15:03):
does Lady Gaga? Have Lady Gaga have more? I mean,
I don't know who would be. Let's let's do this
right now. By the way, I bet you can look
this up, Dub Joe Kinzie, who would you bet? Which
singer has the most followers on Instagram right now? Has
to be an actual musician. I will, okay, you go first.
I was gonna take Justin Bieber even though it's not

(15:24):
a girl, but I was gonna go with Bieber maybe
having the most. I bet Taylor Swift has a ton,
but so I'll go Bieber. Yeah, I was gonna go
Taylor Swift just because we're talking about multiple generations now. Yeah,
I think Taylor spot is a good guest. What about you, Dub?
Who would you as well? Okay, you're doing the research
to find out who the most followed singers are, all right,

(15:46):
you just interrupt us in the conversation when you have
the actual data, Because I think that j Lo is
gonna be way up there, but I'm actually curious where
she would rank sort of in the larger panoply of singers.
I bet I'll give you a few more that I
think are way up there. I don't even know if
Lady Gaga is on Instagram. I feel like she would
be super famous there. Katie Perry, I feel like would
have an absolute ton uh and uh, I think we

(16:10):
did well with Taylor Swift and with Bieber. I bet that, um,
who's the girl that that that Bieber used to date?
That's pretty famous? Selena, go, do you have the list?
By the way? Okay, the March of this year? Okay,
how many of you have on the list right now?
How many have we named on the list? No? No?
How many? Like? What's your list? Is? Like? The top ten? Alright? Uh? Spoiler,

(16:34):
j Loo is not on this list? Jlo, It's oh wow.
So a hundred and forty nine million is not enough
to get you on the top ten. All right, let's
see if we can guess. Let's see how long it
takes us can we get the top ten? I'll go,
then you can go, Joe, and we'll see how we
do on this are you ready? All right, I am
going to go with my first guest, which was Bieber.

(16:56):
He's on the list. He comes in at number nine.
Oh Jesus, Biber's numb or nine. All right, your turn, Joe,
I'll go with mine and h Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift
is not on this list. I mean that is uh
my my, I'm now a little bit shook that, Taylor.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm thinking that we may not

(17:17):
do very well in this list, Joe. All right, Taylor
Swift is not on it. I'm gonna say. Selena Gomez
is on the list. Selena Gomez is on the list,
coming in at number five with two d and eighteen alright,
two an eighteen million, Selena Gomez. Alright, back to you.
Not not to pract Joe, and I'm two for two.
I'm gonna go to the the Kardashian Jenner. Uh well,

(17:41):
and I'll go Kylie Jenner. Is she a singer? Oh?
You need singers? Yeah? This is just saying how are
you doing? Are you drunk? Yeah? That's the whole purpose here. Okay,
Ariana Grande or whatever her name is, that's good. First
of all, she's number two, but The list I have
in front of me is just the people with the
most Instagram followers straight up regards. Did I miss that? Okay, okay, sorry,

(18:06):
Well you can guess your last one. Then who were
you going to guess before you went? By? Jenner? Kylie
Jenner number four million? All right, I'm gonna go so
but also he just got who do you get? Number two? There?
Arianna and Arianna? All right, so we've gotten four of
the top ten so far. Uh, Cardi B has got
to be in the top ten, right, I am not

(18:27):
seeing Cardi B's name in this top ten list? All right? Well,
after this, I want to make sure that you're not
screwing up because I feel like Cardi B is super
popular on Instagram. So the kids temple? All right, so
back to you, Back to you, Joe. All right, here's one. Uh,
let's go. Beyonce is number eight seventy million. All right,

(18:50):
I'm gonna go with Kim Kardashi and she has to
be in the top ten. Kim Kardashian comes in at
number six with two eleven million. All right, back to you, Joe.
Let's go a point. Let's go Lebron. Lebron James is
not on here, there's no Are there no athletes on
the top ten lists? There are two athletes? Are three athletes?

(19:11):
Excuse me? Number three and number one are both athletes?
Is I have? Are they? So I'm asking questions? Here's
like twenty questions, But are they? They're not American athletes? Right,
I'm gonna go with some of them is an American athlete,
but you could probably refer to him more accurately as
a former athlete. Yeah, um, I will go with uh interesting,

(19:34):
uh is Ronaldo or I'm gonna take two here, Ronaldo
and Messi because I feel like they're kind of connected.
Are they on the top ten? Ronaldo comes in at
your number one? How many followers? Does Ronaldo have? Two
hundred and seventy two million? Oh my god? And Lionel
Messi comes in at number seven with one million? Alright,
so their soccer for you? All right? How many do

(19:56):
we have left that we have not named? Back to you, Joe,
I am going you say there's one more athlete. There's
one more athlete, probably more accurate to describe him as
a former athlete, former athlete. All right, this is a
wild guest, but I'll just say the rock that's it.
That's a number three, number three overall with two and

(20:20):
I think there's only one more name on the list
we haven't mentioned, and that's number ten, Kindall Jenner. We
probably would have gotten that eventually because we would have
just kept going through the So that is really kind
of remarkable that we just I actually feel good about
our ability to understand society. I think we did a
pretty good job guessing through there. Joe, excellent job. That was.

(20:41):
We're on top of things, all right. So speaking of
on top of things, you've got some more stories out there. Uh,
then this girl maybe the most eligible bachelor. I don't
think this is an exaggeration. I think that this girl
may be the most eligible bachelorette in all of America
right now, and she is the most recently named What

(21:01):
what state did she win? MS? Kansas Chiefs Heiress Gracie
Hunt is a good looking blonde girl. She will one
day inherit the Kansas City Chiefs franchise, which is a
pretty cool thing, which is why I'm saying she's the
most eligible certainly in our audience. Is there anything cooler
then marrying a girl who was going to be owning

(21:22):
an NFL franchise, meaning that you would become an NFL
franchise owner by marrying her. And on top of that,
she's also incredibly good looking. She is Miss Kansas. Is
there a more eligible sports related bachelorette that you can
think of right now? Jockenzie Clay. It is a runaway.
Gracie owns this category. We've gone over her before. She

(21:46):
was the one that dated threw Lock before he was
right to buy the Broncos, so she has she had
no choice but to break up with the Broncos quarterback,
so she is now single. She wins MS Kansas. This
is I mean, this is here. She joined her mother
as Miss Kansas winners good bloodlines, but she has business

(22:10):
to do at Miss USA this year. Her mom was
second runner up in so Gracie has her work cut
out for her this year. But listen, Clay a two
point five million dollars billion dollar franchise, excuse me, And
she's the one day inherit what Lamar Hunt left behind

(22:30):
and one of the great franchisees of the Kansas City,
great town, great fantastic fans. And I don't know win
she'll actually inherit it, but at some point over the
next fifteen years if it were to happen. Maybe it
won't because I don't think her parents are that old
and the grand scheme of things, But if she did,

(22:51):
she would not only be inheriting a great franchise in
a great city, but also the Patrick Mahomes dynasty. Potentially.
Maybe this is the way that Drew Lock ends up
making the biggest impact in the NFL. After all, if
he doesn't make it as an NFL quarterback, he can
actually marry her and end up an NFL owner, which
is probably cooler. Honestly, I mean, how about the pressure

(23:14):
on the guy that is going to her Dad is
going to be analyzing whatever guy she's dating. He has to,
you know, have business sense. He can't there complete moron.
I mean, she's Miss Kansas. She wouldn't be dating a
miss moron. And let me just take us let me
cut you off there. I don't think it's actually that
hard to run an NFL franchise, Like the business basically
can't lose money. If you are a complete moron, you

(23:37):
could at least be smart enough not to get involved in,
you know, the day to day decisions. You're guaranteed to
make money, obviously, you would rather have an intelligent person
to run an NFL franchise. But I think that it's
such a good business that even a moron couldn't really
screw it up. As long as he or she did

(23:57):
not decide to try to get involved in sinel matters
and things like that, the business itself is almost impossible
to screw up. Uh. Good point. Daniel Snyder is the
owner in Washington, so yeah, yeah, point. Uh. But I
mean the pressure on whoever marries Gracie Hunt huge pressure.

(24:18):
I mean you you're going to be the face of
the franchise somedays. This is literally like royalty in the UK.
That's how our NFL ownerships are. Yeah, but let me
tell you this, I just I don't buy it. I
think I can see why you would be super nervous
to be on a date with her, because you're like,
oh my god, this would be amazing. I would love
to own an NFL franchise. But she's really good looking

(24:40):
and incredibly photogenic. And what I have found as someone
who is married to a really good looking and photogenic
woman is no one cares about you and the photo
if your wife is good looking, right, Like, as long
as you are just a normal looking dude. As long
as you're not like five hundred pounds, or as long
as there's not some really tesk anomaly associated with you,

(25:02):
people don't notice the guy really very much in a photo. Right.
It's like the same thing at a wedding. The woman
has the gorgeous dress and like all the details associated
with her, and every guy pretty much looks the exact same. Uh.
You know, you're in a tuxedo. You don't look any
different than any other guy out there in the grand
scheme of things. So I think the nerve wracking part
would be like, hey, you're trying to date her and uh,

(25:26):
and you're you know, like you're hoping that one day
you're going to be a part owner once you got
the marriage done. I just I don't think i'd be
that nervous about anything, that's true. I think, yeah, I
think the cashing in part is the you know, nervous
that it's going to fall apart before you end up
part owner at that. Speaking of good looking associated with

(25:47):
the NFL, I don't even know this girl, but I
know she's super look her up to on Instagram dub
Rachel Bush. She's married to one of the Buffalo Bill's players.
And she's super outspoken, right, um, and I kind of
like her. I mean, she's super opinionated and a lot
of her opinions overlap with mine. Uh and uh, and

(26:08):
so that's why I like her even more. Uh. And
she's furious at the Buffalo politician who has said you
have to be vaccinated to gain entry to Ralph Wilson Stadium.
What has she said about this? I haven't seen it,
but I saw you wrote about it. Well, she yeah, Rachel,
she's married to the Bill safety Jordan's Poyer, very outspoken,
and she is saying that, listen, the players haven't spoken

(26:33):
on this yet about the whole vaccination thing inside the stadium.
I mean, she's indicating that there maybe could be like
some sort of protest by the players over the decision
to not let because they don't want to get vaccinated themselves.
Is this because I saw Josh Allen say that he
wasn't necessarily sure if he was going to get vaccinated,
the quarterback for the Bills, and he got ripped some

(26:55):
out there by the usual suspects. But she's saying, basically,
I guess that some of the players may not want
to get vaccinated too. Absolutely, that's that's definitely what's gonna
happen if the players haven't spoken on this. But again, Clay,
that's probably what a union thing, union and uh NFL thing.
Uh So, yeah, I would think it could turn into

(27:17):
an interesting legal battle. And to be honest, like Lebron
James refused to say whether he was willing to get
vaccinated or not. Uh So, we don't know what the
percentages of NBA players, Major League Baseball players, NHL or
NFL players that are getting vaccinated right now. A bunch
of them probably had it already because we know that
a lot of guys tested positive during the course of
the season, and that would be a really interesting story

(27:40):
if several of these guys or some teams had players
that were not that excited about getting vaccinated. I remember this.
I used to have a conversation about this with UM
coaches before because I would always say, how is it
possible that a guy is missing a game for the flu?
Why wouldn't every NFL team have inoculated, you know, not

(28:00):
an oculated, but gotten the flu shot, right? And I
remember having this conversation with multiple like coaches before and
they were like oh no, no, no, we can't mandate
flu shots. We can tell people, hey, the flu shots
gonna be here, encourage players to come get them, but
lots of players. Under the existing NFL p A rules,

(28:21):
the players were not able to be mandated to get
flu shots. So I would think the same rule would
have to apply for COVID shots. They could tell you
that they want you to get it, they could easily
provide you the ability to get it, but I don't
think they could mandate under existing NFL rules you getting
vaccinated yourself. Yeah. In the Buffalo politician, he's saying he

(28:43):
can't control the players or the staff, but he he
can control those people that enter the gates. So and
by the way, NASCAR yesterday announced that they're gonna start
letting brand sponsors into this again if they've been vaccinated,
they're going to Actually I saw it because Shannon Spake

(29:04):
uh sent it to me because she was like seeing
NASCAR starting to get back to normal. She texted me
that story about about how what sponsors are gonna be
able to get back into uh down on pitt Row
right right exactly. So we'll see where this goes. But
Rachel Bush and Buffalo push him back on it. Clig.
Last quick question for you. I saw this golf course fight.

(29:27):
I mean it was amazing. Uh And for people who
haven't seen it, it's up on out Kick. The guys
are on the green, two of them start brawling. One
of them runs and gets the flagstick and brings it
back and start swinging it at the other guy. Uh.
Just a fascinating video. So the story quickly, The story
goes this guy lost his phone. He goes back to

(29:49):
the group behind him says, hey, did you see my phone?
They say no. At the end of the round, they're like, ah,
by the way, here's your phone. And he is fuming
mad and he grabs that flag stick snaps it over
a guy's back. It's on. It's just wild brawling and
a golf course. You love to see it. Uh. So
they were just screwing around with him over saying that

(30:10):
they didn't have his phone or what's the story there. Yeah,
they were playing with him that they had it the
whole time, and they waited to give it to him
till after the round was over, and uh, he wasn't
having it. He was furious and it was fight time.
I can kind of being a jerk move. Don't know
necessarily that I will pull the flag out and start
swinging it wildly at people while getting in a fistfight

(30:32):
on the green over. It just me, but maybe other
people disagree. It's not worth a possible trip to jail over.
But it wasn't the best of moves. So, by the way, coach,
would you we were talking a little bit about this
last question. I know I said last question a minute ago.
You saw the picture of the guy that Aaron Donald
allegedly punched. How much would you have to get paid
to take one bare knuckled punch from Aaron Donald? Bare

(30:55):
knuckle punch because he could break my face? Uh? I'm
gonna say two two. That is the That might be
the worst answer to a question I've ever heard, dub
How much would you how much would you have to
get paid to get a bare knuckle punch from Aaron
Donald in the face? If I end up like the
picture I saw, I'd do it for like a few
grand for sure, for a few grand. Yeah, I mean

(31:18):
he didn't look that bad. I mean, this is unbelod
I'm I'm assuming I'm not spending a week in the hospital,
right If I'm not in the hospital. I'll do it.
I mean five k, tin k. You know I'd do it.
I don't. I don't have the Clay Travis money though,
you know. I mean, I will pay five k for
Aaron Donald to punch you, just to see what would happen.

(31:41):
I don't want you to die. But I mean, assuming
like this is the worst answer ever. Uh, Eddie Garcia,
how much would you have to get paid? I mean,
I can't believe some of you guys with these answers
and also update us in the world of sports. Yeah,
I'm it's gonna be at least a hundred thousand dollars,
probably more than that. I think Aaron Donald could do
a lot damage. This is out kicked the Coverage with

I am stunned by the answer. We had some fun
with Joe Kinsey, who is a writer at out Kick. Uh.

(32:47):
But Dub your answer. So, people who don't know, Aaron
Donald is accused of punching a guy at a Pittsburgh
after hours club. Now, I don't know what's going on
that you would end up in an argument with Aaron Donald.
I mean, I've seen the dude with his shirt off
and he looks like uh, I mean, he looks like
Mr Olympia, Mr. What was it called like Mr? Uh

(33:09):
uh whatever Arnold Schwarzenegger used to win back in the day,
Mr Olympia or something like that. Anyway, he has like
zero percent body fat. He's one of the greatest players
in the NFL right now. Also, big dude, he's a
defensive tackle. So I don't know why you would get
into an argument with Aaron Donald in the first place.
But Dub said, but so, anyway, the guy got punched

(33:31):
at the after hours club allegedly, and he's accusing Aaron
Donald of assault. And there's a picture of him with
a monster black eye and evidently got a concussion as
a result of that. Punch as well. And dub you
said you would take a punch from Aaron Donald for
how much money? I mean fives team, I could take sixteen.
I mean, you would let him hit you for five grand.

(33:55):
He's not gonna be as angry just punching me for
me getting paid as he's probably for that guy who
mess with Aaron Donald. So just off the bat, it's
not going to be as bad, first of all, because
there's no real rage behind the punch. I just this
is one of the dumbest arguments that, like I thought
what Joe Kinsey said a quarter of a million that

(34:15):
that was like not that. I mean, I you're risking sirie,
You're risking potentially death. I think I have the caveat
of no hospitalization. I'm under the can't you can't throw
the caveat in that I'm not going to be hospitalized
because you don't know what the impact of the punch
is gonna be. This is true, And I've never been

(34:35):
punched like you could get You've never been punched in
your life by someone of the stature of Aaron Donald. Yeah,
when was the last time you were punched? In college?
The day before I went home for Christmas break. What happened,
Like there was a bar brawl or what. All my
friends got into a fight, and then I'm standing at
skybar in Auburn. I went outside, removed myself sort of,

(34:59):
and and the guy that they were messing with just
comes up behind me and sucker punches me right in
the eye. So I came home with a big black eye. Uh.
We had a big family Christmas dinner and my mom
made me wear an eye patch. That was fun. So
that was not that long ago, because you're twenty seven,
so this is like five or six years. Yeah, exactly
when was the last time you were punched? Danny g Oh,

(35:22):
that must have been two thousand two. What happened when
you got punched? Uh, it's like years ago. Yeah. Yeah.
I was with my fiance at the time and her friends.
It was a birthday party with her in a limo.
They obviously all got fadd I had a couple of drinks,
but we walked inside a club and a guy walked

(35:44):
up to her and said something he shouldn't have said,
and to you to your fiance, to my fiance. Before
he could even finish what he was saying to her,
I laid him out and we left. We sit at
the club and his friends out into the parking lot
and it was a scrap. So, uh, you threw the

(36:05):
first punch I did, yeah, all right, and then it
led into a brawl and you got hit. Was anybody
seriously injured? Dude? I was duck in, I was weaving.
I was looking like Oscar dela Oyas. I was getting
hit like you know, in the arm, in the side.
I had bruises up and down my body, but no
flush it to my face. Than good? All right. So

(36:26):
now as a part of this, you were married for
how long? For two years? All right, so maybe maybe
it wasn't worth getting in a fight over her in retrospect,
I mean, you were only married two years and you, uh,
you got to defend your girl. If somebody comes up
and puts a hand on her and says something like that,
which I can't say on the radio, you're a whimp

(36:49):
if you don't lay that dude out, all right? So
how much? So this is the after hours club? Who
knows what would have cost created that this stir? How
much would you have to be paid? Danny G two
get punched by Aaron Donald a condo in Sherman Oaks, California,
that I can see, Like you're saying, way, what would
that cost? Like what is the Sherman Oaks condoc I

(37:10):
mean a wide variety, but probably like what seven hundred
thousand dollars? I was just gonna say seven hundred thousand dollars,
all right, So you would need basically seven hundred thousand
dollars take the punch. I can see that because you're
like I would change your life. You would be able to,
uh to not have to worry as much about you know,
your residents and all those things dubbed taking five thousand

(37:31):
dollars like you dub you could blow five thousand dollars
on the next Auburn football game. That's why I don't
bet on Auburn. Yeah. Can I change my answer, by
the way, after hearing Danny gees, Yeah, I'll do it
for a golf simulator. Full second, what does a golf
simulator cost? I don't even know, like full like sixt
k sixt k for a great golf simulator. You would

(37:51):
take a punch for a golf simulator. You can tag
us by the way and let you let us know
what your price would be to take a punch from
Aaron Donald because I'm actually curious about that. At Clay
Travis at Danny G Radio, dub what's your Twitter handle
