the group. We're also going to have another edition of
In case you missed it, We've got some over unders
and you inter you out. It's all yours. Coming up
next here, Two Pros and a cup of Joe on
a Friday, Fox Sports Radio.

(01:23):
dot com the way tire buying should be. How the
hell are we feeling here on a Friday such rate?
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Come on, ma, we finally have our map, our quest,
our north Star in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
It's so great, it just just wonderful. And anybody who
bags on the schedule release you are such a loser,
You're a complete zero. This is what we are looking
forward to. This is what our entire lives are going
to be built around for the next six months. And
should we start right at the top when it comes
to well, actually, now I think about it. Before we
start at that top, let's start at our top. It's
(01:58):
a football Friday.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
It's at the top.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Football on Fox Sports Radio. So we have got the
teams with the most primetime games. So there's a handful
of teams who have six primetime games, So these are
games that will be featured at night as it stands
right now. There obviously could be some flexing situations later
in the year. But the teams with the most primetime
(02:35):
games the Kansas City Chiefs, the l A Chargers, the
Buffalo Bills, and the Dallas Cowboys. Any complaints of those whatsoever?
I got none. I mean the Chargers, my goodness, in
there a team on the rise, Chargers, the team on
the rise, Cob justin Herbert is gonna get like a
(02:56):
seven dollar.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Like that.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
But uh, you know, one of these times we're going
to be right about it.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
I would rather see the Jets with Rogers, which I
believe they have five plus.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
What there's like another one that could be considered that maybe.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Yeah, they've got the five plus the Black Friday game.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Oh gosh, Berto.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
The worst part about it is Levars is when I
was looking at the schedule release, it just said BF
on it.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Berto. That could be interpreted in a lot of ways. Rich,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
I don't shoot the messenger. We're just trying to tell
you what's going on here.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
I'd be really excited about saying it too, Jonas, Like.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
What black Friday? Oh my gosh, it's just all right.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
So Berto's in on it. That's why I don't be
hitting the button. He's in on that.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Listen, everybody's in on black Friday.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
This is just a no win situation.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
But those see how you are in your home, Jonah, exactly,
I see how you are around your dinner table.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Player.
Speaker 6 (04:09):
That's a sun black Friday.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
You should be aware of it.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
That's how you talk when you're alone.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
That's how you should worry about black Fridays. Son.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
So if we swap the Jets with the Chargers, because
the Jets are part of the five primetime game batch,
they would be the Jets, the Giants, the Packers, the Vikings,
the Raiders, the Eagles, and then the forty nine Ers.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I actually like that list better than the first one.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Really, Just is it the Cowboys fatigue?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I mean, because.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
It's kind of expected, isn't it, Dallas, is that there's some.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
Far more interesting storylines that could play out in that
second tier of teams you just read off. If I'm
looking at them all as a whole.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Then Dallas because I mean, I feel like Dallas is
an interesting team this year because everything's on the line.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
There's no way you could think that Dallas is going
to be good any better than what they've been. Like,
I mean, honestly, when have we had any reason to
think they're going to be better than what they've shown us?
Speaker 4 (05:14):
It's it's a reasonable point, like in all seriousness, outside
of the fact that the NFC now has one less
Hall of Fame quarterback in Aaron Rodgers if you're looking
at I mean, I guess maybe maybe two now, right,
because he is pretty retired, So you'd consider that in
there as well. Outside of those two moves, which has
(05:36):
nothing to really do with Dallas other than their path
to get to a Super Bowl? Like, what do you
what are we looking at as far as the Cowboys?
Are we going to talk about how Brandon Cooks? Is
there the dish they made a round him?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Who? I mean?
Speaker 1 (05:52):
So, here's all I would say when it comes to
the Cowboys. Everything's on the line, because isn't that what
they say every Yeah? But if they don't produce this year,
I feel like there's gonna be wholesale changes on the
coaching staff and then the fact that maybe Dan Quinn
gets brought back and maybe he's made the head coach.
It does feel like it would not surprise me, and
(06:13):
I know this is not par for the course when
it comes to Jerry Jones and now the Cowboys operate.
I can't think of another time that they've actually fired
a coach in season. I could be missing somebody, but
it does feel like if they run into some landmines
throughout the course of the season based on the NFC.
As Brady pointed out, would it shock you if Jerry
Jones just said we're making a change of coach like that,
(06:34):
to me is why maybe people are shocking a disaster.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
That's second tier of teams. You named two NFC East teams.
Would it shock you that they have two more interesting
storylines play out during the season next year than Dallas See.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
I'm down on the Giants. I just I don't think
the Giants are going to be what they were. I
don't think the Giants are a playoff team. I think
that's gonna be one of the teams we look back
on and go.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
But don't you think it's more intriguing, Like do you
know for certain that that's how you feel about the
giants and that's what it's going to be. Or is
there a tad bit of intrigue that day Ball actually
could do it again? Is there any type of intrigue
and what they could possibly be?
Speaker 5 (07:16):
That's that's that's the dumb truck.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Dum dump truck.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Back it up, He's back up to this conversation. Jonas
were don't hear answers to this?
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Okay, I will position it this way. I'm more confident
that the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Will be good old nest for it to beat too.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
That's got to be a big load of of what
you're carrying for you to have to beat when you're truck.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
No dumb truck.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
With Yeah, there's no wind needed to show any sort
of movement on.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Those Isn't that enough?
Speaker 6 (07:56):
Isn't that enough to make it more interesting honestly than Dallas?
What is the more interesting storyline in Dallas? That they
may achieve the same exact way they have in the
same years past.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Can I say this.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
About Dallas by the way, though, I mean Jerry Jones
is a pretty patient owner. He may not seem like it,
but think about how long he rode with Jason Garrett.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah, and Jason Garrett, who I think got kind of
a raw deal nationally.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
I think, I mean he did, but at the same time,
like he gave him plenty of opportunities.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
I just look at it and I go based on expectation.
If you're going by win totals, the expectation is that
the Cowboys are going to be better than the Giants.
The Giants win totals at eight and a half, the
Cowboys are at nine and a half.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Oh wow.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
If you're to ask me confidence wise, who's going to
be a better team next year, Dallas or the Giants,
I'll take Dallas.
Speaker 6 (08:53):
I'm going to take the Giants because Dallas is going
to get everybody's best shot.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Go and get Dallas. That that work because it's Dallas.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
It's it's like one of those teams like I'm gonna
get I can get recognized in this game, like they
deal with elements that some other teams generally don't have
to deal with. They're one of those popular teams that
just I don't I think it's just stacked. The odds
are stacked up against Dallas to have success.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
I don't think personnel wise, there's nothing about Dallas personnel wise.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
That's it.
Speaker 6 (09:28):
They take a definitive step forward. In fact, in fact,
I'm not I'm not certain that they take a step back.
Like I don't know that they're in the eight nine
win team. I don't know they win that many.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
They're you know, Kellen Moore's not there anymore as they're
offensive coordinator. Remember, they they end up hiring Brian Schotdheimer,
who was within the coaching.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Staff, to come take over that role. But now it's
it's Mike.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
McCarthy who's gonna be much more involved in the play calling.
So there are changes there. I mean, they didn't, you know,
bring in Brandon Cooks. You know, they've got some other pieces,
but there were some changes that I think kind of
to the Lvar's point here. If you look at the Giants,
I think with what they did last year, you could
make the case they overachieved. But they've continued to build
(10:17):
around Daniel Jones, you know, sa Quon's back, They bring
in Darren Waller, they draft Jalen Hyatt like they they've done.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
Some really good things, and I think.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
There's a there's a lot to kind of look at
the Giants and go They've got a foundation built that
I think if they continue to build upward moving forward.
If you look at Dallas, they've got a little more
of a transition, I think, at least offensively, where there's
some question marks of what it's going to look like.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
So I don't know.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
I think these two teams are probably more even than
people realize. And it's just Dallas so they get the
extra primetime game.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
But I'm kind of with LeVar here.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
I do think the Giants are a much more intriguing
team to watch see.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I think we're bearing the lead on this. I think
what LeVar, without knowing it, just admitted on the air
is that he just chose Saquon over Micah. I think
that's what happened. Like you just chose offense over defense
for hashtag we are is what you just did on
the air.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
LeVar was an offensive player too, I was a tailback.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
In fact, it was in North Hills Hammer.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah, but they're both Penn Staters, so yeah, your.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Your confidence level, you know, goes to Saquon and not
the guy who reped Stick City the way I think that.
Speaker 6 (11:29):
I think I think it's a foregone conclusion that your
bright spot will be the defense. Their defense is going
to be fun to watch, like, I don't think there'd
be any discussion points. In fact, their defense will most
likely be the reason why they have, you know, a level,
a level of success that could possibly exceed what what
(11:53):
the projection is. But in the end, do I trust it?
Like do I trust Dak Prescott? Do I trust Dak
Prescott is the biggest question I asked myself. And although
I know his stat line says we should trust him
to be the quarterback that can take them to the
next level, I just don't trust it. I don't trust it,
(12:16):
and I don't feel like anything has given me any reason.
There's no decisions made this offseason that has given me
any reason that this team is going to take a
definitive step forward. I just so, I don't see how
I mean, outside of their brand in the obvious that
they are the Dallas Cowboys, I don't see how they
(12:38):
got into that first tier over say a Philadelphia or
say a San Francisco, Like those are two teams clearly
and easily that I would say would make more sense
for primetime games.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
The Giants to make the playoffs plus one forty five
to miss him minus one seventy. So the money and
the odds would tell you that the expectation is they're
most likely going to miss the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Well, here's what you should do.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
What is your betting mind telling you right now to
place if you had a place of bet, what is
it telling you to.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Place that bet?
Speaker 1 (13:12):
You know, I'm glad you asked, because I do have
it in an envelope here.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Mmmm.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
I would bet on the Giants to miss the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
So you take the other side of this, come you fade.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I mean Jonas Friday and.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
We do know your your betting history.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
So especially lately.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
I saw Jonas without his hair done yesterday, and you
know what, now, I understand he's not like the man
that places these bets. Are not the man we see
during the course of this show. It's just he looks
a lot different. I mean you desperately, you look like
a degenerate gambler.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
When you when you're at home, brou the first thing
you should do is wash your hair.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Yeah, once or twice a week. That's all you need.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Boy. I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (14:08):
Yeah, I saw you in that guy. Dang that meant
that went that that video. Look at Joe.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Look, I haven't gotten my hair cut since before the
Super Bowl and I have no reason why. I just,
for whatever reason, haven't gotten around to it, and so
it's all over the place. I got like a nice
tale going on in the back.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Yeah, there's a lot of It was like you were Noxicon.
That's all I'll say it was.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
It was, I mean, burto what's that supposed to because
of my hair?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Racist?
Speaker 6 (14:39):
Sorry you were you were Noxican on Black Friday.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
This is a Now we're going to double up on this.
This is totally unfair. Uh but yeah, I'll get around
to washing it at some point this week.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Get around the washing.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here.
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox. With
that you can listen to. This show is always on
the iHeartRadio. So we're gonna have the usuals here on
a football Friday. Coming up later on, we got another
edition of In case you missed it, We've got some
over unders who've got you in and you out. It's
all yours until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific.
But it could be a really really rough season for
(15:16):
one team in the NFL that's been in the news
a lot lately. We'll tell you who that is next.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 7 (15:36):
Well, system of a Down, I believe that's the Cranberries.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
That's racist, man.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, oh, here we go.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
You'll started off to show that way you're.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Going to take out the Pride of Glendale, the Pride
of Armenia. System of a down like that by comparing
to the Cranberries. I mean, come on, birth, who's y'all?
Speaker 2 (16:00):
By the way, LaVar y'all? Who's y'all? LeVar, LaVar? I mean,
I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you here coming up in about twenty minutes from
now from the tiraq dot com studios. Another scandal is
popped up in the world of sports, and this one
sounds very similar to something that we just talked about
not long ago. So we'll get into that for you
here in about twenty minutes from now. By the way, quickly,
(16:30):
I just did want to mention this, guys. Steve listens
to the show. He asked if we could give him
a shout out because he listens with his daughter Katie
on their way to school every morning. They love the show.
He was asking about the intro to the show, the
good Morning my Neighbors, and I believe that's from Good
Morning America.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Correct, Yes, that is from Good Morning America.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
So we bleep out the response from the guy on
the street. So, Steve, if you're gonna play that for.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Kate, you're not going to hit the races on a Berto, Yes,
Berto that you're going to hit the races button on that.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
What's racist about that?
Speaker 2 (17:05):
You just said.
Speaker 6 (17:06):
That that good Morning my Neighbors from Good Morning America?
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Did I say good Morning America?
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah? You did?
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Wow, thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Listen. We'll clean that up in the podcast.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Hey, Steve, that's from Good Morning America. I don't even
know what good Morning.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
That's from.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Welcome to America. It's a morning talk show outside of
the Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Okay, what the movies Welcome to America? Oh my god, Vietnam,
You're coming to America whatever. I've never seen him, Welcome
to America.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
We'll clean it up in the postpot.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
A few spin offs of that, right with the way
they spelled it, But like that's that's and there's been
some sequels.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
But I don't know why LeVar told me it was
good morning America, It's coming to America. I don't know
why he would do that. I don't know, Like, what's
what's wrong with you? Why would you give me bad
information like that?
Speaker 6 (17:54):
This show started off on a very very strong racial
racial you just took it to a whole other level.
You know how many black folks you just offended? My god,
Well listen, Oh my gosh, I'm offended. I'm the number
one black person offended by what you just did. Okay,
(18:14):
and a good more, Hey, buddy, good morning.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Look at him. Look out the movie. Well watch it
every day, Steve. Thank you to you and Katie for
listening to the show.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
And it's despite ruined it, Steve.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
Despite what LeVar was trying to tell you, it's coming
to America. That is name of the movie where that
sound clip is from. So there is that, Steve.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Love that, But Katie, what's up.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
That's the great thing about this show. There's nothing artificial
about it.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
You know, there is anything artificial about it that is
for certainty.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
We like to keep it real, just like our people
at Pennington.
Speaker 6 (18:52):
You know what they're telling us that artificial turf fields
they're causing thirty two percent more non contact the injuries.
And so Pennington is on a mission to ban turf
fields with their hashtag flip to Turf movement. So go
to Pennington dot com slash flip the Turf now to
learn more and sign the petition for teams to hashtag
(19:13):
flip the turf to real grass.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
All right, to one team that plays on real grass? Yeah,
Green Bay Packers, they do, they drow. We talked about
primetime games. The Packers have got five of those.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Well, well, Brady not a big fan of the lineup
the Packers have this year with first time starter Jordan
Love at the helm. There for our friends in Wisconsin
who are expecting maybe a promising year out of Green
Bay post Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
I think there's a lot of things about their schedule
that to me would be like, oh, well, hope this
thing goes well. Well, look first is early by. We
talked about that yesterday. As a player, you hate to
see it, you really do. And I would like to
dive int kind of more of Levar's stories because I
feel like he probably treated the bye the way most
(20:03):
players do and I was probably more like Jonas more
boring about it. But that being said, hook them back
around to LaVar on that the early buye is not
a good thing. They got five primetime games, and there's
a chance that I mean, let's just look at it
this way. If halfway through the season, when and flex
(20:24):
scheduling starts, we start to see them lose a primetime game,
you're kind of looking at it going, all right, this
isn't a good thing, right, Like you're taking away primetime
games because the team's just not that fit, not that good.
And so for Jordan Love and his first starting season,
having to fill the shoes left behind by a first
ballot Hall of Famer.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
It's just a tough spot.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Like everyone's gonna see whether they succeed or they fail,
and it's probably unfair, you know, like even though Jordan
Love's been in the league for three years, he still
needs to play and he needs time to see what
he's capable of doing like you're not developing as much
if you're just sitting there. I mean, seriously, imagine sitting
in a room with us three and they're like, no, no, no, no,
(21:09):
we want you to sit there for a year. You're
not gonna talk at all during the radio show, You're
just gonna watch and learn.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
You'd be like, well, that's not like doing radio.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Like there's things where you have to be able to
be a part of it, to get reps to energetic.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Et cetera.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
And that's where I think this is for Jordan Love
is he's gonna need some time and he doesn't get
that time.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
So he's thrust it right in the spotlight. And it
starts Week one versus the Bears.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
And the hard part about this one is I'm probably
a little more bullshan the Bears. I think they've improved
a lot. We'll obviously see once they start playing games.
But that's a team that Aaron Rodgers owned, That's a
team that Packers fans just go, Yep, we're gonna waltz
on down to Chicago and say hello, and we're gonna
take what we want. And that's not the case anymore.
(21:58):
You've got a new starting quarterback, can Jordan Love, And
so that's that's a game right there off the bat
that I think shapes the narrative for him this season.
If they lose that game, one that they've dominated during
the time with Aaron Rodgers, you almost.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Start that up. Here we go, here we go.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
And by the way, they start off back to back
weeks on the road, and they finished three of their
last five on the road, and so it's not an
easy finish either.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
And it's also that game against the Bears. The line
opened up at one, it's now two and a half
in favor of the Bears. So there's already people who've
pinpointed that one as being a potential which.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Could you do some research for us?
Speaker 4 (22:40):
When's the last time the Bears were favored versus the
Greenback Packers?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
It was probably what year ago? Yeah? Wait, when did
Rogers miss a game versus the Bears? I believe there
was a game that Senekawalla started a cornerback for Green Bay.
Speaker 8 (22:57):
They were favored by four points versus the Packers last year?
Speaker 1 (23:02):
What that's what I'm seeing? Yeah? When was that?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (23:07):
In December last year?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I mean, was that the.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
Last game of the season when they sat Rogers.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
No, that was the game where it was actually a
good game and Fields played his ass off but threw
a late pick. I remember this being a storyline.
Speaker 8 (23:20):
It was the first time they were favored in quite
a while.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Hold on, what did everybody get COVID or something? I mean,
that doesn't make.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Any We need more details because it really doesn't make
any sense here.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
But also, when you look at just the NFC North,
the Packers are the biggest long shot to win the division.
So the expectation is Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago all going to
have better years. And when you go back to the
first year, and we talked about this yesterday.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
Were missing the whole point on us. You're going into
something else. Do you not see what we have here?
Speaker 2 (23:51):
What's that?
Speaker 4 (23:51):
We've got a standoff, We've got primetime TV put it
all out there, let it all hang out, saying we're
gonna put these guys in five prime time spots.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
And what's the betting what's the betting population saying?
Speaker 2 (24:05):
What? What are the odds makers saying?
Speaker 1 (24:07):
They're saying they're not going to be any good.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
They're saying, you're damn wrong. All right, we've got to standoff.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Yeah, So I mean, look this, and they're going to
be back to back, So if they stink early on,
so they open up against Chicago and Atlanta on the
road for a first time starting quarterback, I would assume
that's a difficult task opening up at Chicago. Yes, then
you get New Orleans, who's got one of the more
favorable schedules in the league. And I think a lot
of people feel like with Derek Carr there, that's a
(24:32):
team that's going to be better. And then you get
the Lions on a short week, and then you're at
the Raiders and then you get to your by. Is
it the craziest thing in the world to think that
the Green Bay Packers could be sitting at one and
four or zero to five heading into the by, because
I don't think it is now that we actually just
look at this and see the spots that Jordan Love
has been put in and then you open up at
(24:53):
Denver coming.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Out of the by two Kain, is that daunting?
Speaker 1 (24:58):
It's not ideal.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
Let's not like Denver hasn't proven that they're back on
track yet. I mean, that's not intimidating to say, oh,
you got Denver. I mean you didn't throw out Kansas
City when you said that they interally think.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
About the scheduling. You mentioned Saints with a favorable schedule.
The Falcons actually, based on last year's win loss record,
have the easiest schedule of any team in the NFL,
and they were seven win team. And their draft was
interesting because they kind of just leaned into more of
what they I think want to be. Where you draft
Bijon Robinson in the first round, you you add on
(25:37):
some more defensive talent and players to try to bolster
up the secondary in particular, But they basically just said, yeah,
we're gonna we're gonna run the football, and we're gonna
let Dismond Rhetor continue to grow and get better in
the passing game. And you know we've added, you know,
some playmakers around them over the years, but like, this
is who we are. We think it's good enough to
be able to kind of sneak up and beat more
(25:57):
teams than people realize. So look, their schedule sets up
where it's obviously possible. What you said, Jonas, I don't
know that I see them in an zero to four,
one and five. However, you just said it. I think
they could be closer to like a five hundred team.
But the truth of the matter is, you know, when
it's Aaron Rodgers as a Green Bay Packers team that's
five hundred halfway through the season, it's viewed a lot
(26:18):
differently relax than a team who's you know, five hundred
with Jordan Love.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, the case in point last year and Rodgers was
dealing with that hand injury. All right, so we'll put
you on the spot here, guys. Seven and a half
wins for the Packers, that's their point, that's their win total.
Occurtesy of our friends a DraftKings over under seven and
a half wins.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
It's a tough I'm gonna say, like they get to seven,
it's a seven and ten record, Yeah, I think. I
mean everyone thinks, like just because the ero keeps scoring.
With the Minnesota Vikings got lucky last year. I'm like, Okay,
they went thirteen games, Like how lucky do you get
to win thirteen? You might look back and go this one, two,
maybe three games, you're.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Still a double digit win team, Like they just don't.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
I look at it and think there's no way they're
taking that big of a like the step back from
thirteen wins, and they got better in my opinion this offseason,
especially with with Brian florestk on the defense, I think
they're going to.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Be really good or much improved there.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
You've got Detroit's gonna be a part of that, Chicago's
going to be improved. It's just I don't know. I mean,
this is going to be a really interesting year to
see where things go and really what this offense looks
like as well.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah, it's gonna be tough for Jordan Love there it
is two pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. All right,
So we are going to have another edition of In
case you missed it coming up here shortly. But for
all the latest from around the world of sports. This
man doesn't need bye weeks. He's Edmund Garcia, all.
Speaker 9 (27:41):
Right, Thank Jonas. We start with the NBA playoffs and
the Nuggets close out the Suns in Phoenix with they
won twenty five, one hundred victory. Another big game for Denver,
starting Nikola Jokus thirty two points, ten rebounds, twelve assists.
Jamal Murray had a twenty six points in the victory

four of thirteen shooting. Kevin ran twenty three points in
(28:02):
the lost. Denver wins this series four games to two

winner of the Lakers Warriors series. Celtics over the seventy
six Ers in Philadelphia ninety five to eighty six Boston.
Jason tamamadges three points through three quarters, then had sixteen
points in the fourth quarter, outscoring the entire Philadelphia team,
which had thirteen points in the fourth quarter. Marcus smart
Lett Boston with twenty two points. Joel Embii, the league
(28:24):
MVP for Philadelphia, twenty six points ten rebounds in the lost.
James Harden was four of sixteen shooting finished with thirteen points.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
In the loss.
Speaker 9 (28:31):
So there will be a Game six between the Sixers
and the Celtics. That'll be I should say Game seven
between the Sixers and Celtics that'll be in Boston on Sunday.
Lakers sorry, Anthony Davis is expected to play tonight in
Game six between the Lakers and Warriors. He took that
elbow to the head in Game five late was not
placed in the concussion protocol NHLs Downy Cup Playoffs. The
Hurricanes beat the Devils three two in overtime on the
(28:53):
power play goal in sudden depth to close out the series.
Carolina wins at four games to one. They're into the
Eastern Conference Finals. Await the winner of the Police Panther series.
Stars over the crack in five to two. Rope hints
a couple of goals for Dallas as they take a
three to two lead in the Western Conference Semis. Just
six games in Major League Baseball, Raise beat the Yankees
in the Bronx eight to two. Tampa Bay, the first
team the Major leagues he hit the thirty win mark
(29:14):
this season. They're thirty to nine, best record in baseball.
Red shutout the Mets five nothing. Mets have now lost
five straight series. They're eight and twenty on the season.
Excuse me, eighteen and twenty on the season. Ranger shutout
the Eights four to nothing. Texas started Nathan Evaldi eight
and two, third shutout innings, struck out twelve Giants over
the Diamondback six two. The Twins beat the Padres five
to three, and the Royals walk off of the four
(29:36):
to three win over the White Sox Kansas City, winning
it on a squeeze play in the bottom of the
ninth Now back to Brady Quinnlawar Arrington, Jonas Knox in
the Hierac dot Com Fox Sports Radio Studios.
Speaker 1 (29:44):

By the way, man did the seventy sixers cracked down
their legs last night? That was right there for the taking,
right there for the taking special.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
I mean, there was a lot of crapping going on yesterday, but.
Speaker 5 (30:12):
That's what we have of looking at.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Some people would like to think, you know, the Celtics
stand up in their backs against the wall, you know
the Seas.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Yeah, you know that's got the Irish there, Yeah they do.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
You know, you're a Boston Celtics fan, not me playing
They shouldn't they shouldn't have let them boys get off
the hook like that.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yeah, that's going that might have costed them.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
Yeah, they're I think close to an eight point underdog
Philly is in Game seven. Uh so this courtesy of
our friend Ben Maller. I heard him give out this
stat earlier. He's a big Doc Rivers proponent, big Doc
Rivers sand Yeah, Doc too, Doc Rivers. His record in
close out games as an NBA coach is now seventeen
(30:54):
thirty two. You know, not the most ideal thing in
the world.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
He's the guy you want if you want to be
able to come back from a deficit in this series.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Right exactly, All right, down three one Docs coach.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
Well, hold on, here's what we'll figure out, because they're
obviously going to Game seven. Now, Berto and Jonas, where
you putting your money on this one?
Speaker 1 (31:17):
I'm not betting at all on the Celtics. They're the
most maddening team in the entire league. There's no way
the Sixers are winning that game.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
And I hate to both put you so you're you're
basically both putting your money on Philly.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
No, Berto's not, No, I'm not. I hate the Celtics,
but I think they're going to win. Oh yeah, Burtos
the Doc Rivers. BeRTOS lived the Doc Rivers experience, uh
here in southern California for a long time, and I
gets some of the players had trouble with their fastball yesterday,
I think, or was it the curveball? To see Doc Rivers?
Speaker 2 (31:48):
What do you want to say?
Speaker 6 (31:48):
We gotta trust, we got to run our stuff, we
got to execute our stuff.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
I thought tonight was similar to like Game two to me,
we just didn't trust our stuff.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, the problems the fastball, Bert I mean listened like
he couldn't find the strikes out there.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
Stuff us for a baseball, Oh yeah, very many stuff you.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Use for other things.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Berdo gets such a red ass about these coaches. I mean,
I kind of love it, though, because that's like a
lot of fans feel.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
It's also and Berno's to be fair to Berno, he's
been having a deal with Ben Maller's Clipper propaganda for
a long time. Funny, and when Doc Rivers was the
coach of the Clippers, great Ben Ben loved him, and
then all of a sudden, once he veered off and
Ben realized there's a problem in close out games. Ben
(32:37):
just started wearing his ass out and Berno jumps in.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Could you give a shout out though, to Joe Missoula,
I mean the way he has taken over his head coach.
He's thirty four years old. I think he's done a
pretty good job all things considered. Yeah, right, when you
think about how he got into this position to start
the season, I've heard other pundits on this particular network
to question whether or not he should even be in
(33:01):
where he's ready for.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
He's doing a heck of a job. Somebody's giving a
get in.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I just still can't like the them firing because he
had an affair is still Look, I get it, it's
not ideal.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Suspend the situation.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yeah, I mean it was somebody that worked with the team,
But that's.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
I think that makes it a little different.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
All right, Well, if that's the case, there's a lot
of people losing jobs in the NBA real quick, because
I would venture to guess that there.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
Do you think it's big org serious?
Speaker 1 (33:33):
I mean, be surprised. I mean, so you don't think.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
You just made everybody guilt?
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Can man?
Speaker 3 (33:42):
The bar come home.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
Early and the whole gang was there for the you know.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Wait a second, I thought you had a hamstring.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Did not have relationship with that woman.
Speaker 1 (33:55):

executive producer, lead Digital Lap Guys.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
Good morning to you in case you missed this. Good
morning Brady, Good morning LeVar, Good morning Jonas. There's another
gambling line. In case you missed this. We've had a
couple of gambling scandals in the last few weeks.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
We've had Alabama, Ward.
Speaker 8 (36:14):
Brady, another gambling investigation has hit the.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
The sports world, this time in soccer.
Speaker 8 (36:33):
MLS is investigating a gambling scandal where a player has
allegedly been offered money to accept a yellow card. Forgive
me for not knowing too much about soccer, but Colorado
Colorado Rapids player has Max Alvis, a winger, Yeah, exactly, color.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Do you have a pethera?
Speaker 8 (36:57):
Colorado Colorado Rapids winger Mac Elvis has been put on
paid administrative leave for allegedly accepting a twelve thousand dollars
bribe for accepting a yellow card. I don't get this.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
It's only twelve thousand dollars. What are they complaining about.
It's probably the most soccer's been talked about on this show.
They should thank us and thank this guy for being
a degenerate.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Oh. I think we.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
Are getting into a spot now where you gotta be
careful about accusations or allegations versus if they approof and
how not only you know, soccer, but any professional.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Sport is going to handle that.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Like I think we had a mention of like there's
some tip or hotline jonas that they've gotten.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Now the US integrity is they basically decide what's on
the up and up as far as sports betting goes
Maddie Holt, who is the president. He used to be
a guest and a contributor on Straight out of Vegas
here for years and he's awesome and they don't mess around.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
That's great, But it kind of leads to this, what's
the process? If you and I call up, it's say,
because you're a big Bears fan, so you say, before week.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
One of the NFL season.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
Oh, hey, by the way, we heard that Jordan Loves
got a bunch of money on this game. He's got
a little bit of an itch. He needs to put
a little extra money on this thing. But he's he's
you know, he's betting on this game. He's got all
sorts of prop bets, all.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
Sorts of things in on it, Like what's to stop someone.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
From throwing in a tip line?
Speaker 4 (38:23):
But if it's unsubstantiated, how are they going to go
about handling the process of the player and and figuring
this out in a short.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Amount of time?
Speaker 1 (38:30):
So you mean this is like when they would set
up tip lines and there'd be a serial killer on
the loose and somebody would say I am him and say, well,
it's not a him. Okay, never mind, and then they
would just sort of dismiss it. I'm assuming they would
do their due diligence and just dismiss those pretty quick
and say, problem is, you've.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Got not a lot of time to do this. Yeah, right,
this is a week to week thing. And what it
happens on a short week. We got Thursday night football
and there's there's an allegation that's thrown out.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
Get those bets at early, you know.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
But that's but that's my point is it's going to
be really hard to catch any something like this if
it's going on, at least in my opinion, and I
do wonder how they're going to take, you know, whether
it's threats or tips or anything else that's thrown out
there that could potentially be kind of hard to prove
in a short amount.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Of time because this is popping up everywhere Man, Alabama Baseball, Soccer,
NFL like or there was another story that popped out
the UFC, like you're not allowed to partake in UFC
fights if you come out of a gym in Kansas
City because apparently there was somebody who had some inside information.
Their coach James Krause like, so anybody that is associated
(39:35):
with him can't fight in the UFC right now. So
this is popping up a lot to where you're getting
a lot of people saying, wait, I can make money
on this if I throw some fights or games. And
so now everybody's stepping in, I mean, gambling's here, man
trying to put everybody up on a little bit of game.
So I think so we operate anything else, Lee forgetting.
Speaker 8 (39:55):
Guys, the world's largest outdoor cocktail party might no longer
be the world's largest outdoor cocktail party. Tia Bankfield going
under renovations. So therefore maybe.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
A home and home between Georgia and Florida.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Yes whatever. Oh.
