It was a great day and it was falled up
by an awful interest song that Jonas has.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Are you holding out?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
He's a big time here.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
I don't have a sharpie located a blue shark. That's
what all the big timers say, though, right, I have
no sharpie.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I don't have a sharpie.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
All right, So we will get that done and send
out to the homage bar in Colombia here.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Yeah, I don't know, man, you're big timing right now,
get your popcorn ready.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I've seen.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
I've seen that VHS like a long time ago. I'm
just saying, Coop, don't don't. Don't be getting brand new dog.
They'll be like your dad and the movie Bro. Don't
be lying, man, don't keep it real. Yeah, come on,
graduate takes care of us, Coop.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Come on. Yeah, we'll get it done. We'll get that,
send that back out to Columbus, Ohio. But speaking to
te O, you know he did play for the Cowboys
and the Eagles he did play for both his career
and and well, listen.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Ended up where they ended up going with he was
with the Eagles is where they're going this year too.
You know they're going back to that same place, So
you call it. He gonna go to the same place
he was at when he was with Dallas. They gonna
go the same place.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Now the other Dallas involved. Dallas Goddard may have a
broken forearm. There's been some reports on that, so he
could be out. But Philly gets it done again. They're
eight and one, and I don't know whether to come
away from that going I'm impressed by Philly or Damn
Dallas was just inches away from one of that game

(03:54):
multiple times.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Why couldn't it be both? Yeah, I thought it was both.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I just if you're Dallas, you've got to be thinking
to yourself, what the f man?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Like?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Why why is this? It seems like it's Yeah, that.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Final drive though, I mean, I just I was sitting
there watching out with my wife. I'm looking like, going,
this is this is how teams lose games? Like this
is literally how you lose games. You have a PI
you well, first off, it all started where and you
know I actually thought the time out they wasted when

(04:28):
they came out on their original drive when Philly came
out out of a stop clock and then had to
call time out because they almost had a delay of
game when they're trying to run the clock out. I
thought that was like the most egregious penalty, Like what
are you doing. You're kind of out of a stop
clock and you're using a timeout out of that because
you don't have your stuff together instead of saving that

(04:48):
for your defense, and so then they get it. What
a pass interference? I believe there's a was there a
ROUGHI a passer one point in time?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Yes, it might have.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Been like a defensive holding time. I mean, it was
like penalty after penalty after penalty. And it's one thing
when Dallas and Dak played phenomenal the entire game, but
then you're gonna give it up with penalties, like that's
how you're gonna let them get back into the game,
and then Dallas starts getting penalties. It was just what
it was kind of a bizarre, like sloppy finish for
as awesome as that game was up to that point.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, I liked it. I thought it.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
I thought it was a great I mean not those
are the two best teams right now that I would
say are in the NFC. So you not only got
to see who who could do it in the NFC East.
But that's that's two best teams, unless you know the
forty nine ers can find their way back to the light.
But those are the two best teams that squared off

(05:45):
so and and for them to play the way that
they did, the defenses showed up on both sides of
the ball. The offenses showed up on both sides of
the ball. I found, you know, we finally saw Dak Prescott,
you know, basically have a really really good game in
a big game. You know, I don't feel like they
lost that game because of Dak Prescott. You know, I

(06:07):
felt like Philly won the game because well Philly. Philly
is the type of team that will They know how
to win. They know how to get it done, whether
it be something that took place on defense, whether they
found a way to make a play happen on offense.
I mean, they had some things that could have gone
wrong for them, and that game could have gone either
way at any point in time. And that's what made it,

(06:30):
you know, details of it. It would be what the
details of it are. But I mean, just from a
fan perspective, thought it was a dope game.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Man. So you mentioned Dak Prescott. Of course, he's the
guy who continues to get ridiculed after they lose games
like this, even though he played his ass off. Yesterday,
here was the Cowboys quarterback talking about how close they
were to a different result.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
On the road division game.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
Great opponent, they are success that they've had in their environment.
As I said, it sucks in the moment, but a
lot of good we can take from this and use
as we as we can keep going. Great NFCS matchup.
They came out with it tonight. But as you just said,
an inch or two on one of those three plays
and we could be talking about a different outcome.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
So whether it be the fourth down at the goal line,
which was a couple of inches away, him stepping out
of bounds on the two point conversion as he was
scrambling to try and get in, and then even that
play where they had Aj Brown go in motion did
Philly and he ran into DeAndre Swift knock the ball
out of his hand. I'm watching that going. You gotta

(07:34):
be kidding me, like Micah Parsons was right there, literally
inches away multiple times from that game being a completely
different result.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I mean, that's so saying that.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
That's how you like, you give away games or you
fumble away a game. And then you had the second
there was getting banged up on that final drive by
Dallas down the field right Brad Perry goes out, Darius
Slay was down for a minute, got guys like running
in off the sidelines as they're trying to get lined up.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
This this I mean, watching it, I felt like a
fan boy at that point because it was like all
analysis goes out the window outside of every single time
I saw them running a dB, I'm like, well that's
what I'm throwing against. Like that guy's be covering seed Lamb.
Like yeah, I don't know what route he's running, but
that's why I'm throwing too.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
It was cooking. He was cooking.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
What about hurts by the way to playing through you
know the knee injuries dealing with and just he's awesome.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Do we know what the knee injury is because it
looks like it's getting worse.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
I look like that hurt when it hurt. I'll tell
you that when that bad boy hurt him. Man, it
was hurting, visibly hurting. Yeah, I don't know what it is, but.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Well, he's got a I'll put it this way, he's
got a brace on it. So that's the first thing.
I mean, you could tell they're they're trying to cover
it up because you know, they were in the white pants,
so they've got like a white you know, sleeve and
all that over it. You could tell though it's a
brace underneath it. And then even the way they were
kind of taping it together. But it just speaks to
him his toughness, his leadership, you know, his ability to

(09:03):
kind of play through all of that. I'm telling you,
I wouldn't be shocked if it's not a little bit
more serious than anyone realizes, and he's just gonna have
to deal with it until the end of the season.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
That was the same play where they showed if he
didn't have a knee brace on, he probably would have
tore his acl That was the same game, right, I
don't know if I'm mixing it up because I saw
one game.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Well, this one, he hit it and you could tell
when he was in the pocket it clearly hurt it.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
And like collapsed it to the inside. Right.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
No, this one, this one was just like someone ran
into it and then as he was coming around and
got sacked by I think it was MICHAEH. Parsons. Yeah,
I don't even think it went down as awkwardly. It
was just more you could tell he was kind of
hobbling on it before he even got sacked.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
I might be mixing them up because somebody got hit.
They had a they had a need, they had a
Don joy On and and if they didn't have that
Don joy On, I'm thinking that it would have been
the end of his season. Yeah, I'm not sure which
game it was. There was some thumping taking place yesterday
that joy That last game of the evening too, was

(10:03):
was it was?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
It was a great, great.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Only thing you'd be like a little critical about is
when the game was on the line, and I know
Tolbert had made some some big catches down the stretch,
but probably not where I'm going with the football and fourth.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Outand yeah, you gotta go to CD, you know, you
gotta go.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
You gotta go to someone else who I feel like
you you kind of just turn and go, all right, like,
and I know they're trying to double CD on that play,
but even if it's contested, like, I'd rather have CD
in that position than than Tolbert. But yeah, that was
also maybe the matchup they wanted at that point.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
But again it's and they could have called it.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
They could have called it. Yeah, yeah, And that's a
whole other conversation. You know.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
I was with Troy Vincent all day, I shadowed him
man at the league offices out here, and the one
thing that that kept coming up is America's worst enemy
is the referees. Like the only only fans referees have
are the fans of the team that get the call
that goes their way. That's it. Some of you never

(11:10):
get it right. Some of these calls are so bad
though that like bro, some even some of these ref
jobs are really really it's the inconsistencies. Like I started
taking notes of all of the bad non calls versus
calls during during the games. I mean, the one play
where Michael Parsons got like whatever that was called, don't

(11:34):
I don't know, beer hug, I don't know what it was.
But and it was a major play of the game too.
It was a major play, they held him. They that
they were able to access the outside he's looking around.
There was like several plays where the one play where
the kid he made a big hit, he hit him

(11:57):
in the face, but they were like, nah, it wasn't
targeting or it was in a personal foul. But then
you see another same type of hit take place in
another game and it was a personal foul. It was
just so many inconsistencies on how things were being done.
There was a fumble that took place in one of
the games. It was it was recovery. It didn't even

(12:18):
matter because they had already called the play you know,
did or whatever it was. It was just it was
a lot of confusing moments in terms of how the games.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Were being respect confusing for me.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
So yeah, well it was confusing. It was confusing watching it.
It was confusing watching it. So and that's guess the
point I'm making. So one of the things that you
can't deny if you're watching that game between Philly and
Dallas is although Dallas was close, Now Philly's got a
two game lead in the division, they're the one seed,

(12:52):
and like it just feels like we're the same spot
here to worry.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Schedule though, Man, that's schedule moving forward. I mean, let's
put it this way. Look at the rest of Dallas's
schedule compared to Philly, and if you were to say, well,
which game if they're gonna split, like I think, if
they go back to Dallas, Dallas wentz So they split,
you tell me, I mean, who's got the tougher schedule
the rest of the way.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Oh, it's Philly by far, because I mean Dallas, if
you just looked at the games until they meet again
coming up on December tenth, Dallas has got the Giants
at the Panthers, the Commanders, and then the Seahawks at home.
I mean, it's not outside the rum of possibility that
they're you know, four and oh and that's or five
and oho in that stretch or four oh in that

(13:34):
stretch getting to Philadelphia. So this could be the next
time you see him. And then if you're Philadelphia, yeah,
you've got a banged up quarterback, you've got an injury
to one of your tight ends or to one of
your better players on offense. And then you're at Kansas City,
You've got the Bills, you've got the forty nine ers. Yeah, yeah,
there could be some problems there, so they're still an opportunity.

(13:56):
She's just found ways to win. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Yeah, I'll say this, Dallas in this case didn't have
to win that game. It was an awesome performance that
they know easily could have didn't.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Work out that way.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
They need to win the next one the next time
these two teams play. But between now and then, I
don't know. I mean, all they have to do is
take care of business with what's on their schedule, keep
playing at a really high level because Philly is the
one that I'm more concerned with. Yeah, and with Hurts
is injury and the way the secondary has been playing.
They're giving up a lot of plays. Man, if you
can block them, you can you can score them. The

(14:33):
secondary is not playing the way it.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Was last year.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
And there's some bad penalties down the stretch too. Man,
the Buyer personal Foult two in there like that. It
just seemed like it was like playing like drive after drive.
There's some just bad penalties.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
It's two pros and a couple of years.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Yeah, that's what I was to say, without confusing everybody.
There's just some bad penalties. Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Labar Arrington Brad So we are gonna have the usuals
coming up later on. We've got another edition up in
case you missed it. Later this hour. We've also got
we're going to finish up the show with you and

and it's all yours again as we take you all
the way up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific.
But coming up next there is something that has been established.

(15:18):
There's a group of teams bet are better than everybody else,
and we've got the proof and it's yours right here
on FSR.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Well, hey there, it's Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe here Fox Sports Radio. It's Savar Arrington, Brady Quinn,
Jonas Knox with you coming up later on this hour.
We will call it a little over twenty minutes from now.
From the tire Rak dot Com studios, there was an
awkward situation that played out in the NFL yesterday. Very awkward,

(16:00):
very super awkward. Yeah, it was very awkward. So we
will get into the details on that coming up here
again a little over twenty minutes from now from these
tire rack dot Com studios. The Buffalo Bills have a boogeyman,
and that boogeyman is the Cincinnati Bengals. And the Cincinnati
Bengals officially are back. There's a lot of people who
were writing them off earlier in the season when they

(16:23):
started off slowly. I was one of them. And not
only are the Bengals back, but the entire AFC North
is back. A perfect four to ozho for Week nine
was the AFC North And if the playoffs started right now,
every single team in the AFC North would be in
the postseason. Wow. Now, whether that shapes up to be
how it is? This feels like by far and away

(16:46):
the best division in football, and Deshaun Watson's back, the
Steelers are somehow winning games, and the Cincinnati Cincinnati Bengals
are officially back, and they were someone's Super Bowl pick
to represent the AFF.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
See if I'm not mistaken, Yep, they look good man.
Their defense can get pressure, they can get stops. Their
offense is tough to match up with, especially the way
Joe Burrow's playing looks definitely healthier. They talked about about
that a lot last night. And they've got balance. I mean,
they can run the football too and close games out
with mixing. So the Bengals are a dangerous team. We

(17:20):
talked about Cleveland and Greyton. That was I mean, that
was the better of the week right there, if you
really want to be honest about it. I mean, a
rookie on the road West Coast team the East Coast
having to take on that defense, and the way Cleveland
can run the football, It's just it didn't matter who
was playing quarterback for the Browns because ultimately that was
just they weren't. Arizona was not gonna be able to

(17:41):
score in that one. So hopefully Kyler Murray gets back.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
And can start playing this year next week.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
But I mean, you go through every single team, by
the way, it's not like, I mean, Baltimore might be
the best team in football right now. The way they're
playing number one defense. Lamar looks phenomenal. We probably should
start talking about him being an MVP CA And then
obviously Pittsburgh with the extended rest winning on Thursday night
beat the Tennessee Titans. I mean, it was just a
clean sweep this week for the AFC North. But that's

(18:09):
what I love about the NFL is a division like
the AFC North, which traditionally sends at least two teams.
I'm telling you right now, they're going to get three
teams in. They just grind and beat up on everyone else,
and it's awesome.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
It is.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
It was one of the most fun divisions to watch,
to see and take a guess as far as who's
gonna be who's gonna be making the playoffs when it's
all said and done.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Makes you wonder how are they able to build the
types of personalities for their teams because they're all pretty
much the same, except for the fact that I think
Cincinnati just has the most talented receiving corps. I mean,
Frickin Higgins snapped out last night, Yeah, he snapped out,

(18:54):
you look at like them being able to take over games.
They have two, three, three guys that can take over
the game just like they were a one receiver. But
outside of that, the defenses are and I mean even
with Cincinnati, I mean their defenses are what leads the
way they beat the hell out of you. They beat
they literally beat the hell out of you, and then
whatever is left, like you know, and as a defensive

(19:17):
guy say whatever is left, you know, let that. Let
the offense have that, like do what you do, Lamar
or you know, pick A do what you do or
Deshaun do what you do.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
You know.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
With the exception of Joe Burrow, I think the Cincinnati
offense is the one where you say they're just as
much a factor as as the defense is. I'm not
sold on Baltimore yet because for some strange reason, I
feel like Baltimore they they go off the rails. You
feel like, I feel like at the end of the
season that off the rail.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Hold on, hold on. Not sold on them in what capacity.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
I'm not sold on them that they're going to be
able to consistently do it.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Hold on, hold on them.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
Are you saying they're a playoff team or not?

Speaker 5 (19:59):
No, I'm saying they're a playoff team. Absolutely, they're a
playoff team. That's not what it is?

Speaker 1 (20:04):
What is it? Because they've burned you and I for
a couple of times in a row, correct, and they
do it at the end of the year and you're
not willing to forgive them this time.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
No, I'm not going to trust you. It's an abusive relationship.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
What do you mean they've burned you.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Yeah, we pick them two years in a row to
be in the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
And just came up short. And then Lamar wasn't finishing
season the last two. Yeah, it's just it's it's a
little bit disappointing, that's all. You just feel like, I
don't trust them. Yeah, so I don't trust them. I
trust him. I think it's I think I think it's
a brand new Baltimore Ravens team.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
They look good. They even got OBJ in the in
the end zone. What a backup. I mean they were,
they were clicking.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
They do have this guy, Zay Flowers. I think you
get him involved with that.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Well, I told you all about Theay a long time ago. Man,
Nobody was really talking about him. Nobody was really paying
attention to this guy. Well, I believe he's got to
be see big, big time player.

Speaker 7 (21:02):
Man.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
I told everybody, kid, Yeah, I told everybody. I didn't
know where where he was from originally. I just know that,
you know, I told everybody to pay attention to this
kid right before the draft took place, and lo and behold,
look man.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
I turned out that was accurate.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
You know.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
So there you guys go like, you're welcome for my
my bold you know, my bold prediction on that bold predictions.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
There's no one who loves bull predictions.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
That's right, that's very bold. That's right, super bold.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Now you mentioned the m v P.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Everybody that was a bit by the way Brady Quinn
called out he.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Didn't do anything this past game, But like.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
That's the part that that's it's just frustrating because like
you see him, he gets the ball in his hands,
like he does things like, man, this guy's got a
skill set that nobody else on that team has and
then it just like disappears for three quarters. Okay, cool,
But Mark Andrews they had some balance, I'll tell you that. Yeah.
The running their running gang was on point. They were.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
They were battery batter ramming it.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
You know. We've got all right, So you guys mentioned
the m v P. We've got a three way tie
as the favorite atop the list. According to our friends
at DraftKings. Can you guys get boy?

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Pat Mahomes is obviously on there all right, you're gonna
Obviously he's on Burrow. Should be on the Burrow, should
be in a conversation. Jeez, he should be on in
the conversation.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
He is not on there.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Wow, Lamar has to be on there.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
He is on there. Yeah. And the third is a
little bit surprising to me.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Is it a J.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Brown? No, M Jalen Hurts? Why is that surprised? Surprising? Yeah?
I don't. I don't look at Jalen Hurts and go, man,
he's not going to hit the button.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
We haven't hit having a big season. Why wouldn't you think.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
You because I think A J. Brown, the way that
he's receiving those balls, receiving it is more impactful than
the way Jalen Hurts is delivering them. I'll put it
that way.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
You just didn't want too many quarterbacks, too many quarterbacks
on that.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
List, that's all. Yeah, that's what it is. That's what
it is.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
You're just being a little bit prejudice towards how many
of them quarterbacks is on that.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
I guess that they're MVP QB prejudice. That's going to
be a Q award. AJ Brown is near the top.
He's not as high up as Tyreek Hill, but he
is near the top. Is seventy five to one for
A J. Brown if you want to bet on AJ
Brown to win the MVP. But when it comes to
the AFC North, look, I don't I don't even know
if it's mathematically possible that all four teams would get in.

(23:50):
At some point, Pittsburgh's gonna get called out and exposed,
Like at the point that's going to happen. Wow, No,
that's fine. As long as Mike Tomlin can keep his
five hundred or better record throughout the course of his career,
that's all anybody cares.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Well. I'm not sure if you know this, but with
seventeen games, there's really no choice. You're either going to
be I guess you could have a tie there's somewhere
and go eight to eight.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
But I mean, he's either going to be eight nine
or not an eight.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
But what are you getting at right now? What you
mean all they care about is him? What exactly does
that mean? What do you mean right you're watching the
AFC North. Yeah, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the worst team
in that division and it's not close. What's crazy is
they beat the hottest team in the division. If not,
if not, if it's the Baltimore that game was a

(24:36):
clown show. They beat them, Okay.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
It's seven drops they beat I think they play, they
play play the next time.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
I think Baltimore wins though.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Well, but they beat them. I'm just saying they beat them.
They look Pittsburgh. I give them credit. They win games,
they have more winning.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
All right, here's the deal. All right, here's the deal.
Var loves Pittsburgh, all right, he does.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
I'm just saying, like, if you're going to dial the
hill because you're not very big on Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Because they burnt you in the past, that's correct.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
You don't believe in them down the hill right now, Pittsburgh,
go ahead and make make make your your your.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Uh, they'll make the playoffs. Okay, do you think Pittsburgh's
gonna make the playoffs?

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (25:13):
I don't think so. All Right, let's get I'll give
you some odds on that you want some. Do you
have any odds music? We can play while I look
this up? Same efforting here. I love this.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
This is what you love. These love.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
It's silly that Jonas would would even go here, But
I see what you guys are doing.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Can I be honest?

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Though, Of the three teams that I said we're gonna
make it from the playoffs before the season from the
AFC North, Pittsburgh was not one of them.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
I know.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
And I said Pittsburgh would have a bounce back year.
But it hasn't been the type of year I thought
that they would have.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
But they are.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
When you say they're bouncing, they are bouncing, just not
back yet. They haven't bounced back, but they just haven't
bounced forward.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
I already told you the formula you gotta throw at
George Pickens and Deontay Johnson like thirty times a game.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Now, what's with Pickens? Did you see he went on
social media and scrubbed reading Pittsburgh Steelers related and then
sent out some tweet that said free me or something
like that. Wow, by the way, here's a news flash
to George Pickens. Do you think that Mike Tomlin has
no experience with this?

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Going to do that before the trade?

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Do you think Mike Tomlin has no experience with Discarnald
wide receivers in Pittsburgh. That's going to go in one
ear and rite out the other.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
He's talented, though, Man, you gotta take the good and
the bad.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Yeah, something like that. All right, it was along those lines.
Apparently he was not happy with his one catch or
whatever it was. And in fairness, look, you would have
kind of touched down if he got his other foot
and bounds.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Hold on.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
I meant to bring this up in the first segment
when var when you were talking about being Troy Vincent,
did you not watch some of the rough in the
passers and go, Troy, what are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Like these are just sacks. These are not rough in
the passer.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
It is just sacking the quarterback now, and guys are
getting flags and I pray to god they're not getting
fine because literally, the NFL is taking money off these
men's table for their families for stuff that is just football.
It is ridiculous how bad officiating's gotten in regards to
rough in the passer. And that's not trying to defend

(27:14):
like any team that's defending defensive players and the position
they're put in.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Now, you mean the one on Mac Jones that got
called yesterday.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Bro, name any of them, Name any of them, Like
what rough in the passer was justified yesterday?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
There wasn't one that I saw that.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
I was like, oh, that's rough in the passer, Like
I mean the Hassan Redick one on Dak Prescott.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
He's kind of stumbling in and he hits him.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
He's trying to catch him as he's falling, and I
know it was a little late, but like it looked completely.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Unintentional and they still end up calling it.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Like you can go down the list, whether the mac
Jones one or any other one you saw, and go
that is not rough in the passer. Like var you
played this position, you know what roughing the passer.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Is, what is not?

Speaker 5 (27:56):
You get two and a half steps one and a
half to two steps to go ahead and do what
it is you're going to do.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
It's not even that now though. Now it's like you
can't all land on the guy. And in some cases
the quarterbacks are landing on the defensive player and they're
still calling it.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
It's it's pretty pretty bad. Like I said, just put up,
put a put a censor around. Then once you break
the censor, the place called did on God, Yah, think
I'd be joking when I'd be saying that.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
They don't want the quarterbacks to get hurt.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Period.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
They don't want the quarterbacks to get hurt.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
So, so look at the starting QBS yesterday and Jonas,
you could probably count this up while I'm saying this,
but I think there was what like a backup starting
whatever it was last week this past weekend. I think
it was almost like, if you're looking for the justification
for why to your point, it's because you had eight
guys starting, and a lot of rookies, and a lot

(28:52):
of guys that are not household names, not drafting the
first second round like guys drafting the mid rounds. And
I think that's more of an issue with NFL teams
being cheap, the way they're going about building the roster,
like they don't want to invest in a.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Backup quarterback anymore. They don't. They don't even though they're
that important.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
They'd rather just pay their starter a bunch and then say, oh,
I guess if we lose them, we'll just hope the
young guy can come in and play and play well
and in some cases worked. In other cases it's been awful.
I mean Arizona yesterday as an example of that. So,
I mean, there's a lot of people you can point
the finger too, but the way the teams have not
one to buy insurance on their starting quarterback by bringing

(29:33):
in a formidable backup is to me the most glaring thing.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
You are correct. So I'm seeing eight backup quarterbacks, yes, yesterday.
Obviously we have Monday Night football coming up later on tonight.
We'll see another one in Zach Wilson. So that would
make nine. And I think, and I just need to
throw it at you, guys, because you can make the
decision on this. Deshaun Watson's a backup correct or? Is
he not? Oh? He is? He hasn't played that. I'm

(30:02):
just asking you. That was so good. He doesn't play that.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
I love. I try to make a point and then
Jonas just throws no.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
I'm just saying we could get to ten if we're
going to be serious about this.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
How many of those back up? The rookies too?

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Oh tune you.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
Got Jared Hall got knocked out? Like the second series?
Tyson Pagent?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
What what's your guy with the Giants? Why am I.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
After Jones? Which that's a terrible situation.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
I don't know why I want to call him LaRusso,
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
You know what, do it? All right? It's the same thing.
LaRusso de Vito whatever.

Speaker 8 (30:44):
Damn we're going to take that, like, what's that supposed
to be? What are you talking and the same thing?
Come on, Sam, it's close enough forgot about it, Yes.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
But.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
What we're talking about?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Hey eight, hey, hey, hey, well I know this Graduate
Hotels is your college game hold on every World War
time Joe Dushaw Watson bit was good.

Speaker 8 (31:14):
That was really well placed because I don't know if
we can depend on him to.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Be there everything. It was very well played, Jones. I
just don't know that was some of your best.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
Work in that moment, right, that would to give you
your proud we could go back.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
No, I'm just saying, if you want good work, go

It, and for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, lead Digit Lap.

Speaker 10 (33:33):
Gooday, morning everybody, Jonas Morning Learning guys. In case you
missed this last night during Sunday Night Football, during a
segment where uh NBC Chris Collinsworth and Mike Trica were
playing a segment that was dedicated to a A that's right,

(33:56):
all right, Well casey did miss that? Uh that's a
featuring Tomorrow Hamlet, who of course was not suited up.
UH awkward moment where he was being had a close
up on him, but he ended up picking his some
food out of his teeth, some morsels and uh, some morsels,
and then put it right back in there, chewing it down.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Man's where it came from.

Speaker 10 (34:19):
But I don't know who, if there's anyone to blame,
or just an awkward moment there on Sunday Night football.

Speaker 5 (34:23):
I mean, what was he supposed to do with the
morsels of food that was in his mouth or in
his teeth?

Speaker 1 (34:28):
How many games has he has? I don't know, Flick
it on the ground. That would have been gross, too, right.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
I'm just saying, can when you catch a dude digging
in his nose or doing things that are you know,
even I'm a finger biters, which is horrible. I didn't
realize how gross it looked until I saw, like, don't
catching dudes doing it on camera?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
It looks really I just like, dang, I do I
have that disgusting habit. It's a lot of bacteria on
your fingernails.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
It's really disgusting. Yeah, but oh well, I can't stop.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
This is what it is. How many games has DeMar
Hamlin actually played in this year? Just one?

Speaker 5 (35:09):
You think that's bad design? And it was early too, right.
It's like the second Game of the season or something
like that.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
A couple of weeks in. I'm just I don't understand
what's happening.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
It's bad design, right, Like you can't you can't just
let him go? Do you just let him go?

Speaker 1 (35:30):
After that?

Speaker 5 (35:31):
Like, oh, it was a great story, Tomar Hamblin, like
they made much of the game about the anniversary of
what took place.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Oh, he's doing an interview on was it the Today's Show?

Speaker 3 (35:42):
Later on?

Speaker 1 (35:43):
I think like they're gonna have an interview with him
this morning.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
I think that they probably it was best for business
to keep him on the roster.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Like all the injuries they have on defense.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
I don't think he's ever going to play. The way
it comes across, it doesn't look like he's ever going
to play again. He's played, yeah, but maybe play again.
He has played one gag, right, so.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
The whole thing's kind of do But I'm looking I'm
looking for a way we can make money on this.
And DeMar Hamlin is your comeback Player of the Year
as a minus one oh five.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Five, Yeah, what is?

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Josh Dobbs considered eight to one, Thank you eight to one.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
He is the best story in the NFL, right and
if he doesn't win the comeback play of the Year.
It is shocking, okay, Like there's something wrong with society
when you have a guy who's been on five teams
in the past calendar year, three teams this season alone,
and let his team to wins with two of the

(36:46):
three with the way that's worked out. I mean, it's
just his story is incredible and I don't know that
that's that.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
To me is just ridiculous, Like there's an ulterior motive.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
I think, you know, tomorrow Hamlet should be taken off
this if he's going to be caught. He's re eating
his food on camera, all right, that's on. Well, he's
picking his teeth and then shoving it back in his mouth,
flicking on the ground that was be a decent human being, That.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
Was a decent human being and flick the mor soul
on the ground.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yea, dear, it's good.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
That's what bothers like I don't need to see pieces
of protein bar gets shoved.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
Back and the reduction of of what's going on. I
just did he know that he was going to be
on camera when he was picking his teeth and and
having left.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
If I were him going into that game, I would
assume there would be a camera on me the entire game,
of the way they were selling that whole thing.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
Well, maybe that's why he ended up covering his face
up at the end of the game. Somebody told him,
you know, you got caught picking your teeth and you're
rechewed food. I'm glad that we're going to put my
mask on now.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Glad the Reverend is with us here this morning, chiming
in on Tom eating his own food again. That's good, thank.

Speaker 10 (37:58):
You, sir, Lee what he got through, guys, In case
you missed this Bill's safety. Jordan Poyer was recently on
the RG three in the Ones podcast talking about how
Aaron Rodgers convinced him to try ayahuasca, saying, I know
a lot of people say Rogers is crazy. There are
thousands of ways to heal, but Rodgers was right in
what he was talking about this being a medicine, saying

(38:21):
that it has helped him with his battle with alcoholism.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Oh oh, good for him, though, didn't he kick the
he stopped drinking a while.

Speaker 10 (38:28):
Ago, though, yes, but he's obviously I think he says
it's still an ongoing battle, and ayahuasca has been attributed
to helping with alcoholism.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Rogers did say a lot of guys reached out to
him asking more questions about it.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Look, I think every player looks for some more of
a natural remedy to figuring stuff out than a drug
or whatever else is out there. Like players look for
that stuff. So if it helps him, great. I mean
that's ultimately what you're trying to get done.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
You know.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
I mean mine's radio and working out. Man again, just
built different, you know. Alright, Okay, alright, we don't need
to bring Jonas in
