about the Kansas City Chiefs upon further review, maybe they
made a little bit of a mistake. We're gonna discuss
station wagons and Lee's missing turtle. Apparently this thing took
off for two years and leading know ab at it
and found it next to a football somewhere in his yard.
Trust me, it'll make some sense. Plus, we're gonna have
another edition of in case you missed it. We've also
(00:41):

Sticks you guys doing? You know? Yeah, still have my moment,
yeah yeah, but you know it's good.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
It's good.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
It's good.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yesterday it was kind of it's kind of weird, like
the coincidence of it. He was eleven and then the
first day without him was day eleven. It's like eleven
is the number. It's our family number. And it's kind
of kind of weirdly cool that that he check out
at eleven to everybody out there yesterday, Uh that that's listening.
(02:11):
I lost my dog on Sunday, Sunday morning, and and
so he was eleven years old. Dresser was eleven. So
it's been a somber time, man say the least. Like
it's kind of weird. You know, he's like a guardian.
He's been a guardian. He's a guardian dog. He wasn't
like a lap dog or anything like that. So you'd
(02:32):
like kind of like woke up this morning like feeling
like it is the first time I woke up not
having a guardian. You know, I know we have guardian
angels and stuff like that, but you know, it's like
he was he was my guy.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
He was my guy.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
You know, we had the same mannerisms. Lazy as hell,
always like to lay down, lick our lock ourselves, you
know like that. Yeah, yeah, so you know, like steaks,
you know, yeah, so's I'm a miss them. I'm gonna
miss them.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
That was my guy.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
So but I'm here, I'm not I'm not going to
bring myself down. I won't bring anybody down. But yeah,
it's good.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Well, we're happy to have you. You were were obviously
thinking about you yesterday. We knew what was going on,
but it wasn't our you know, our you know, we
we didn't feel like we should drop the news. We
just made something up as to why you are okay?
Did I guets suspend?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
It?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Just positive.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
To I mean I looked like I'm definitely pepeing hot,
you know, for certain you know, yeah that.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Definitely seems warm right now the way I'm looking.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
You know, well, I'll say this, how about double barrel
Action in the NFL last And they were good? They
were actually.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
The Giants actually looked like a competitive team.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Well, Tommy, I mean, by the way, was that legitimately
his agent or like an actor who dressed up like.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
The most There's no way that's his age, There's no way.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
It was amazing.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I love it. I love the whole story. I think
it's tremendous.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
It's just this is what we do, though, Like we
take things like this, we run with it so hard
and then as soon as it goes it falls by
the wayside. Were like, yeah, well it was fun, you know,
it's a great party, you know, like it was a
good while it lasted.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
They had the old, the old nineteen eighties, nineteen nineties
giants un He's going like it was all the classics.
Like it just felt like classic New York. You know,
the parents are all there, They got everybody doing the
uh the whatever they call the voi che or whatever
they call that. What's that thing called against Sam? Do
you know the exact term. I think it was just
like the choice kiss whatever whatever it is. It's a man.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
This has been the year of the fan, Is that
fair to say? YEA Taylor Swift yeah family, Yeah, the
arm wrestling that yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, I forgot about him Tyson Bage instead.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
There you go through. It's been pretty pretty interesting that way.
It's kind of a good way of looking at it.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
I just think that them showing Tommy DeVito's family is
so much more entertaining than Taylor Swift. No offense to Swifties,
but it's just there's so much more going on there
and at Troy Aikman made the point as they were
closing out last night where Joe Buck said, you know this, uh,
they're gonna be celebrating deep into the night that that
family there and Troy Aikman's like, yeah, that family seems
(05:39):
to be growing by the minute. Oh wow, it's like
now everybody's related. Everybody wants a ticket to come see
old Tommy d play.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
But it's like the sec you know, when your team
does somewhere the root for some of these.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
The weirdness thing.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
That's above.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
You ever notice when it's super Bowl time, you're always
meeting people that are from the city that the team
that won the super Bowl is from. Like you could
be anywhere in the world and whoever just won the
Super Bowl from Baltimore? Like, no, you're not You're not
from Baltimore. Uhuh oh yeah, I'm from Dallas.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Oops.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Nope, never mind, they haven't won in a long time. Geez,
that look pretty good though, did y'all talk about it?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (06:24):
But people are always seeming like like you see them
like moving around and it's like it could be like
a week after the super Bowl, a month after the
super Bowl, and it's like the person always says they're
from that town, like I'm from Baston Like no, you're not,
You're not from You're not from there.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
But they seen thembody want to be a winner. Yeah,
everybody wants.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
To be a winner.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Well, Tommy d was a big winner last night. He
spoke with ESPN and ABC following the big win. They're
met life in front of the growing friends and family.
It's been a lot of fun wins.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
I'll tell you that.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
I know how it goes when you're winning or when
you're losing. But I'm trying to say even keel throughout
the whole thing and just enjoy things. I've been playing
football since that's five years old. I man, I've been doing.
Speaker 8 (07:09):
It for a long time.
Speaker 7 (07:10):
I know it's a bigger stage, a lot more on
the line, but at the end of the day, I'll
try to have fun with it. It's the kids game,
so I'll.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Just try to enjoy it, all right. Well, he definitely
speaks well, is he?
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I mean, are we looking at somebody who's going to
be a potential I don't want to say, I don't
go too far.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
All right, here's the deal. He's twenty five years old,
he's a rookie. Does anyone know that?
Speaker 1 (07:32):
That's all? Maybe here we go, so what's on his mission?
What do you want to know?
Speaker 4 (07:37):
But he didn't.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
He's not the case at all about that. Here's the deals,
like he originally went to college.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
In twenties to get that pou get that pole.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
Well, it's like no one, like everyone loves the headline,
we don't like to read the actual story. Clearly Jonas
does not have any research on the young man at all.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I know he played it Toy Well, okay, he.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Was us his laast year. He played Syracuse before that
for four years.
Speaker 6 (08:02):
He actually was a pretty highly tied recruit coming out
of don Bosco Prep. If you guys know don Bosco
Prep in Jersey. It's a big powerhouse school. So he
goes to Sarahcuse has you know, kind of not I
don't think the career he was hoping for, Clearly, that's
what led him to Illinois and plays well, shows improvement
in Illinois, and then he finds himself into the NFL.
(08:23):
But I think what you've got is a quarterback who
has showcased ability, obviously athleticism. I mean that was on
display last night. Is Brian Dable incorporating as part of
the offense running the football. But what we're seeing from
Tommy DeVito is something that you might be seeing too
from teams that take rookies and have them as backups. Saying,
(08:44):
these guys are twenty four to twenty five years old,
they've played a lot of football. I mean Sam Harmon,
for example, come out of Notre Dame, he said, sixty starts.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
It's a lot of experience.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
And I know it's a different level, different game, but
there's a lot of intangibles you can take from your
experien And you kind of heard Tommy sitting there saying like, yeah, man,
I played a lot of football, Like.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
It's it's it's just a game. It's just it's how
you adapt to that game.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
It's it's the circumstances that you have in the NFL
that you're adapting to. And this is a team that
with Saquon with a few other pieces, especially when when
Brian Dable was calling games like it was last night
and the defense is stepping up, that's it. That's a
winning formula. So it to me, I kind of watch
it in Sisco. It's it's awesome. It's it's a fun storyline.
(09:28):
But anyone who's followed Tommy DeVito from his time from
high school knew of him as one of the topper
highly ranked recruits and knew that he had ability like this,
And I'm sure the Giants did.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Also, like, when these guys are doing.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
Their background on all these kids, they know what they
were coming out of high school, and then they're recruiting,
you know, status and all that, because that's all part
of the due diligence that they do to figure out
is this guy worth it to be able to bring
on our roster even as an undrafted free agent like
he was, and then you see, you know what he's
capable of doing once he gets out there in a
real life game, So kudos.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
To him and all that. But again, like it's this
isn't you know, this is.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
Like a new age of how this is gonna work
now with so many kids playing college football for so long,
and maybe he's gonna be an example for other guys
of exhausting all their eligibility in college, earn as much
nil as they can, and then when you get to
the NFL, you're gonna have that much more preparation because
guess what, the NFL is not preparing you for the NFL.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
They're just throwing you in there.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
And you see their sink or swim right now, and
right now obviously Tommy DeVito.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Swimming, Everybody kissing each other so funny. Yeah, there's no
way that's actually his agent.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
There's no way.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Like the whole thing, it.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Feels like the guy probably normally wears Lulu Levin.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
He's like, he's, well, we're gonna be on CV, so
I gotta trust the pot.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
You know, he's got jogger.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, it's just like the Taylor Swift stuff people have
accused of being manufactured. This feels like an acceptable manufacturing though, Like,
I'm okay with this one, just because it's so over
the top.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Little Jersey Shores.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Yeah, the year of the Italian, right, because the Irish
Italian just got kicked off of.
Speaker 6 (11:18):
It's like it is the NFL becoming the NBA with
these headlines. Oh my god, please tell me that's not true.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Well, except the games. The games are actually watchable.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Yeah, hold on, hold on, you're making this statement in
a year where scoring is down and actually we just
had a three nothing game.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Yeah, Defense Championships not anymore.
Speaker 6 (11:43):
That just kind of scared me. Not anymore. That's just
scared me. That's a road. That's a road that we
did not want to go down.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
By the way, not a great loss.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Here's what you know, if we do an in season tournament.
They paint the fields different just for those.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, well yeah, I'll go back to Fridays.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
Well, just be careful of the off season if they
if they announced that, imagine if they did do an
end season tournament for the NFL.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
What would that look the Cowboys, Yeah, they would and
they'd hang a band or like the Lakers are.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
And it would be the only one they win. Yeah,
they look pretty damn good, though. I ain't go a
hold of them.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
What I'm telling you, the bandwagon.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
They're getting better, are you on? They're improving. I think
ever since they here we go, ever since, ever since
ever since that started, like they started winning. Man, I
don't know. Man, Well, we've been trying to Brady. I've
been trying to tell you about Micah for ever since
he came out. He is for some reason different, for
(12:44):
some reason, You've always kind of pushed back on it.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
We've been trying to tell you Stick City.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
It's the agency went with. That's That's why. I don't know.
But you know, we all make bad decisions at times,
you know, real talking.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, I don't even know the guy, but he's very rude,
like he doesn't acknowledge me when he comes around, and
so I do the same, and so we're too non
acknowledging one in other people. I grabbed his arm one
time though, at the bowl game Ohio State Georgia game.
I grabbed his arm. I said, you can speak? You
(13:22):
do know how to speak? Right?
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, that that happened. How that go over? Oh hi? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Well listen and then we walked away. We parted ways,
but we don't talk. I have no idea why either.
I mean, I know, I know if you know me,
if I've mentored you and you've been in my life,
I tell you I don't like agents. I don't like agents.
So maybe he knew that I don't like agents and
he didn't like me because of it. But maybe that's
why I don't really, I don't know. That's why I
(13:53):
pushed back on Michael Parsons.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah, well listen to that. Ago Stick City is a place.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Real, is it?
Speaker 9 (14:00):
Yeah? I don't like that saying at all? Yeah, damn right,
it is.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
It stinks. Actually, what does that even mean?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Find out got a couple hours to play with here,
so we'll go get to the bottom of this right
here on like playing with hours? Yeah, oh you do
kind of disgusting hours. Wait a round up. It is

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Whoa, that's the wrong tape, wrong tape.

Just forget that.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
Look.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Listen to the Paully Tony Fusco Show on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Two pros
and a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming up in
a little over twenty minutes from now from the tire
rack dot Com Studios. Apparently somebody in the NFL was
a little too generous, just a little too generous, and
(16:03):
we've got that story for you in another edition of
In case you missed us, that'll be yours coming up
here again a little over twenty minutes from now here
on FSR. But we talked about the upset the New
York Giants getting it done last night at home against
the Green Bay Packers. The New York Giants obviously were
underdogs going into that matchup, and then that was nothing
(16:24):
in consideration to what the Titans and Dolphins was, which
was Miami a thirteen and a half to fourteen point
favorite depending on where you shopped. And it turns out
that the Tennessee Titans get it done there at hard
Rock Stadium in whatever part of Florida they're calling that now,
is it Coral Gables or who knows at this point?
(16:46):
You know, is a Hollywood? I think it is a Hollywood.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
It's actually neither.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, which one is Miami Gardens?
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Like, yeah, there it goes.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
It's not Miami Gardens. Yeah, it's Miami Gardens, is it?
We call it the MG where I'm from where heart
Rock is, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
That's Hollywood. Yeah, stadium is in Miami Beach Guards.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Okay, all right, that was a little bit disjointed for
the Miami Dolphins from the start, like that did not
look right even when they went up, which was due
to those turnovers and mistakes by Tennessee. Even from the
get go, it didn't look right and their defense couldn't
get stops, and Dean.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
Felt like their offense too, didn't really do much when
Tyreek wasn't then.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Yeah, did that make his case for m v P strong?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Pretty much? It's like everything fell apart.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
You're like, oh, all right, well, I mean I guess,
I guess he's pretty valuable.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Just it didn't like that did not and I don't look.
I don't know if it's the hard Knocks curse or
whatever you want to call it, but that did not
say knocks or knocks the hard Knox can.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
I thought there's an exit the end of that.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, there could be maybe two or three, you never know.
But it did not. It did not look good for
the Miami But.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
They looked like they were going to pull it out.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
That's wrong with the.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
I pulled my thing out.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Jesus, is that family guy?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
No?
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Jon is that Jason Smith?
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Oh okay, I thought that they were going to win.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
It looked as though they had the better team like that.
I read it wrong.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
But isn't that part of the issue with the Dolphins,
Like so LeVar Jonas side sad yesterday about I'll see
the Bills win of the Chiefs and and just part
of the frustration for Mahomes is built around the wide
receivers being disappointing.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
But part of it too.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
Is that was huge in the sense of Buffalo is
still live for the playoffs, and Kansas City knows, like,
if there's one team you probably don't want to have
to face as a wildcard team, it'd be Buffalo I
I and we we kind of went through like, hey,
Baltimore is the other team and we could throw in
we didn't throw in Miami and we didn't throw in
(19:02):
Miami because of games like this where if if you're
if they're playing, you never feel one hundred percent sure
they're gonna show up and win a game the way
they're supposed to. Or they can show up and win
a game despite not having maybe their best player I
should say, maybe they're their best player, and that's at
(19:23):
home in a primetime spot like where everyone's watching, and
that's how the game turns out.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
So it's why, like when you look.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
At the playoffs, you just go, yeah, they're good, they're
gonna make it to the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
But then what, it's crazy, maybe they win a.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Game or that's how I've I've felt myself talk about
Dallas for the longest time, and they finally.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Are forging longest time. There were a lot of comps
between Dallas and Miami from the standpoint that neither team's
really beaten anybody of substance.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Dallas beats saddle yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
And like until recently, and then you see Miami and
you're like, that's still the question.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
But then nice put it back like they beat Seattle,
but then come back and in a prime time till
they get it on on what was Now they're sliding
like Philly's going. They're trending in the wrong direction, you know.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
So you're still not buying it. You still see a
little suspect.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Of Dallas on Dallas. I don't know many they seem
legit now. I think it's Dallas, San France and everyone else. Yeah,
I'm still I mean, I still have like questions, but
but I definitely am a little bit more firmer on it.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Now you've got like four chapters left of.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
A I'm not soft on it anymore.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Eighteen.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Yeah, Well, sometimes you got to hear the the you know,
you guys read the last page to to really like
kind of feel like you can appreciate the book, because
to me, I'll go through a book again. You know,
I'll go through the season again and I would like
look at like certain games and be like, oh maybe
that was where you know they decided to be different
or okay, maybe it was right here, maybe it was
(20:58):
that week like oh, like you know, see.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
I just try to open up the book to like
the first page and then have hopefully people take a
photo of me reading it, and then it makes you
look really smart, so you're like, the will be j
I didn't say that. I'm just saying like, that's why
I usually try to say that. Okay, that's that's what
he usually tried to do. I picture picture as well.
You definitely pictured send vibes.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
You know, hey, readings. Reading is good.
Speaker 6 (21:22):
You know, I'm not into although you know, here's a
tablet read on that and it's like, no, I want
to book.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
I want to feel.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I don't want to. You know what I've been reading
to my son you can't get enough of it was
the night before Christmas, the classic edition.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Like like the like the adult edition of it.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Yeah, John was just so old that he's some of
his pages are stuck together Jesus I caught up and
other ones.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I can't make a gingerbread house and during.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
The that's.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
You said.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
You said, well what then before I thought there was
a it was.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
You guys are unbelievable.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
You just you try to bring it into yourself like
this as loving dad. It's like, okay, you creep, Yeah,
what are you? Yeah, that's what you do.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Here's what you do. I'll tell you missed you missed
him yesterday.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
LeVar is because braggadocious about his son, which was which
is fine, which was fine. If you were here, though,
you would find them. It was a little passively aggressively braggadocious.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
It was Cannon, what do you want from me? What
do you mean?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Yeah, that's why you read them.
Speaker 6 (22:37):
That book varied a lot of things, a lot of things.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
He did, and he did send us a video of
him throwing. He definitely guys some quick twitch fibers.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Anything I'm gonna do, I'm gonna send you guys that book.
Speaker 9 (22:49):
Henry wrote, and I'm going to send you guys that book.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
To be ashamed of yourself and what you guys have
just done.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Here playboyn't know. T was the night before Chris Christ.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
It's almost like you're trying to open them. That the
first page and how people take pictures of you. Man, Yeah,
what do you think you're trying to put this image?
Speaker 1 (23:11):
And next thing, you know, I'm uh, you know, I'm
celebrating an nd season championship drinking a little champagne. But
that being said, how about former Penn State Niitney lyon
will Levis. They're trucking people getting physical. Probably gonna be
the last time he does that.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
We had we had to doing some work in both games.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Former Penn State or Sakwan Barkley had a nice little
night you know, looks healthy. By the way.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Rabel's Italian too, right?
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Hey, man, would I get in trouble if I say
what my observation of him? You know? Will I get
in trouble if I said what my observation of who?
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Would think? What is that?
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Let's see what that.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
Doesn't set a tie in though, Jones whatever. It's kind
of simple, but it's got a good shot that's out there.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
So we'll get the We will get Mike Grape, we
will get Mike Rabels heritage here coming up shortly as
we break down double barrel action in the NFL football
sparrow and it's check now there you go, Yeah, make
that work round round that up to uh Italian, we'll
(24:31):
call it Italian. That'll make some Yeah, it'll make it sense.
Make it makes sense later. But uh, the Tennessee Titans
pull off the upset. And if you look at the
way things are in the a f C East, is
it outside the realm of possibility that the Buffalo Bills
can still win that division? Because the odds are significantly
in favor of the Miami Dolphins. But if you look
(24:53):
at the schedule down the stretch, it feels like Buffalo's
got an advantage over Miami because Miami's got the Jets
coming up and home. But then they've got the Cowboys.
They're at the Ravens and they've got the Bills.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
That's no good. That's no good.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
That's that's a difficult time.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
How many do those do they have to lose in
order for the Bills to be able to win it?
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Does?
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Is it that? Do the Bills have to win out? Yeah? Basically,
they Bills have got the Cowboys, they're at the Chargers,
but they've got the Patriots and it may come down
to that final game of the season at the Dolphins.
They're gonna lose to the Cowboys. The way they're playing.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
I mean, they could stand up to them, They could
stand up to them, but I don't see them winning
that one. Not the way them dudes is playing too balanced.
They're just overwhelming teams right now. Man, I mean they're
on you know what I was thinking about. And maybe
I'm horrible for saying this, you know, maybe somebody else
has said it, But has anybody really made mention of
(25:50):
the fact that what Mike McCarthy alluded to and kind
of hinted at in terms of him calling the plays
would make all the difference for this team hasn't really
been Has it really been talked about, because I don't
know that I've heard it, But I think the difference
(26:12):
in this team is the balance that they have on offense,
and now it's made their defense even more formidable because
their offense puts so much pressure on the other team.
That's what I'm seeing with Dallas right now, their offense
and the balance that they have between the way they
run the ball, the way they use the screens, the
(26:36):
way they get downfield with their receivers, they use the
tight end. There's so much balance. And oh, by the
way Dak will run and will lower his shoulder on
you too. And I think that's all because Mike McCarthy
took over to play calling this offense. I have never
(26:56):
really seen this offense like I've seen them look good
at times. I've seen them look explosive at times, especially
when they had Amari Cooper, but I'm not seen this
type of production and balance from their offense. And it
started with Mike McCarthy being a play caller.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
I mean, I think he should get some propers on
on the fact that this team is actually transitioned into
being In that conversation with San Francisco Grady, yeah, we
talked about.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
Okay, by the way, I've done some research on Tofto's agent.
That is not a one time outfit. That he is
full blooded. Oh yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
That's his full time passion.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
Oh yeah, he's got multiples, the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
We have some vests and some stuff.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
So yeah, look, at least it's natural that works. Yeah,
you're right, all right, good callie. I mean we we
were able to get to the bottom of that, so
at least it wasn't just.
Speaker 9 (28:01):
A gag that was true, definitely not. I mean, this
is yeah, uh so that we just.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Didn't know if there's any more paid actors the NFL's
get involved with it is true, I'm just saying, I
just is that is I mean, the whole Taylor Swift thing,
is that or is that legitimate?
Speaker 4 (28:18):
You think what's.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Happening there, We'll never know.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
You see, they try to say she was cheating on him.
She was hugging on another dude. Every time every time
somebody make a place, he was hugging the same dude.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Some were speculating that might be her real boyfriend.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Now I saw someone was like, no, that that person
likes tight ends too.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Okay, Look, we've talked about his resume. You know, it
does feel like there's a drastic difference between.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
I mean, it's a very drastic difference for certain Yeah,
in so many ways, by the way, I mean, it
isn't like it was like subtle, you know, it was
definitely drastic, right, definitely drastic. Yeah, very different.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Well, look, I mean that's that's what's great about this show.
You discover a whole bunch of stuff here in one

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Oh yeah, it's a way of life. That's a way
of life.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Speaking of ways of life, yes, there's only one way
to live your life a week when you get the
updates from around the world of sports, and that's from
the one, the only, the Magnificent, Yeah, the Majestic Edmund Garcia.
Speaker 8 (29:53):
Yeah, I don't know what I like better, uh, magnificent
or majestic.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
You know they had a clipper ship in and in
Pittsburgh that tore the three Rivers named the Majestic.
Speaker 8 (30:05):
Oh really, yes, yeah, I think I'd.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Have to go majestic.
Speaker 8 (30:09):
Go to majestic, you go, all right, Well, let's see
if this little report here is majestic for you. But
we have a pair of Munday night football games to
talk about. You guys have been talking about it already.
But in Miami, the Titans beat the Dolphins twenty eight
to twenty seven in a game that not many people
predicted the outcome of this one, especially Tennessee turning it
over three times, they had a pick six, they muffed
(30:31):
to punt, but they still pull out the win. They
were down twenty seven to thirteen with four to thirty
seven to play, got a three yard touchdown pass from
Will Levis DeAndre Hopkins. Miami goes three and out, then
Derek Henry scored on a three yard touchdown run minute
forty nine to play, still time for the Dolphins to
get in the field goal range, but the offense could
not get it done. Miami star wide receiver tire Kill
(30:51):
injured in the first quarter. He did return later, but
had only four catches for sixty one yards. Tennessee was
a double digit underdog zero to six on the road
coming in Miami five and zero home, but it is
the Titans that get the win to improve to five
and eight. Miami drops to nine and four. They're the
number two seed in the AFC playoffs. In New Jersey,
the Giants pull out a twenty four to twenty two
win over the Packers. Green Bay had a one point
(31:12):
lead with minute thirty three to go. Giants then behind
undrafted rookie quarterback Tommy Devido, go eight plays fifty seven
yard set up Randy Bullock for a thirty seven yard
game winning field goal attempt. He nails it and the
Giants go off with the victory. Shaquon Barkley a couple
of touchdown runs. As the Giants have now won three
in a row. They're five and eight, while green Bay
falls to six and seven, still holding onto the final
(31:33):
playoff spot in the NFC. Some NBA games of note,
we had the Pelicans beating the Timberwolves one twenty one
to one oh seven Minnesota the NBA's best record. They
fall to seven and five, though with that los Zion
Williamson thirty six points for New Orleans seventy six Ers
blow out the Wizards one forty six to one on
one Magic over the Cavaliers one oh four, ninety four.
Bucks beat the Bowls in overtime one thirty three one
(31:55):
twenty nine. Pacers had the Pistons their twentieth loss in
a row, one to thirty one one twenty three, and
the Spurs have set a new franchise record with there's
seventeen at the straight loss losing to the Rockets ninety
three to eighty two. And get ready coming up on
January tenth, Spurs at Pistons. In that game that someone
has to win, I would think college basketball one ranked
(32:16):
team in action Ember ten, gonzagabat Misissippi Valley State seventy
eight to forty and four games in the NHL, Avalanche
out scored the Flame six five, Islanders over the maple
Leaves four to three in overtime, Stars defeat the Red
Wings sixty three, and the Sabers knock off the Coyotes
five to two. Now back to Lavari Arrington, Brady Quinid, Jones, Knox,
The Tirerack, dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studio.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
So one team's lost twenty in a row and others
lost seventeen in a row, but nobody's paying attention to that.
Look at this n season tournament banner. We're going to
hang out for the Lakers. That's what does that ever
happen in sports?
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Why are you hitting on the Lakers? Man?
Speaker 1 (32:47):
Listen, you got two teams that have lost twenty and
seventeen in a row. Like if the NBA had a
pair of balls, they would showcase that game and make that,
you know, something you would throw in on.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
You know, if the NBA had some real they would
choose the best four teams and put them in a tournament,
no matter what their record was. Just put them in
the tournament and say these are the four best ones
and see who wins. They really had some.
Speaker 9 (33:13):
That's sounds familiar that that's what they do. Was that
a shot at college football?
Speaker 1 (33:18):
What do you mean? That'd be ten dollars, That'd be
ten dollars that.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
All right?
Speaker 1 (33:26):

More than everybody, more than LeVar morning, join us, morning Brady, guys.
In case you missed this, there's a thank you LeVar guys.
In case you missed this, there's a Cowboys employee from
AT and T Stadium facing serious criminal charges. U This
nineteen year old ticketing employee has been charged.
Speaker 11 (35:35):
He was found to have let a.
Speaker 10 (35:37):
Number of fans in in exchange for cash. According to
police and security, He's now facing a charge of commercial bribery,
which is a state jail felony.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Now, how much will they get? Like, how much would
we get in that parentry?
Speaker 11 (35:50):
You know, I was trying to find that out. Couldn't
find it.
Speaker 10 (35:53):
His His bond was set at fifteen hundred dollars and
the state jail felony in.
Speaker 11 (35:58):
The state of Texas.
Speaker 10 (35:59):
Uh, he could be facing up to two years in
prison in a fine of ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
I mean, who hasn't given the bouncer a few bucks
to try and skip the line, And I feel like
I think that's the same thing here. Yeah, I don't
feel like it's nothing. So no, I don't know. It
depends on the club.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
Yeah, you go to some interesting ones.
Speaker 6 (36:20):
This is something that I don't think this is the
only place this has happening. By the way, I'm not
gonna say where. No, but I have some buddies who
like there was a similar thing going on. I'm just saying,
like they used to go to games and you know
something similar.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
That a connection like that long time ago.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yeah, I mean border will stop up.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Look some of these I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Maybe like some of these venues are massive and there's
so many entries.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
Well, I'll put it this way, standing remotely okay, like,
oh there you go. It gets a little bit, you know,
kind of lenient as far as those go.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
By the way, have you also seen that it's been
pretty relaxed lately as far as them checking you when
you come in. It used to be there was a
time where they would, you know, you get wanded, they'd
make you, you know, put everything into Like when we
went to Ireland. The game in Ireland, you just walked
in like there was no Yeah, but I feel like
as dangerous there, you don't think so I don't know.
(37:24):
I wasn't there.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
I wish I was.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Asked.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Brady almost figure it down with some guy, did he
really it's a dangerous place. Yeah, Brady and Shane Gillis
almost beat the hell out of some guys.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Really.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Oh well, yeah, Jonas, you were there, right, Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:37):
Heard the story?
Speaker 4 (37:38):
Yeah, of course you did.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
The funny thing about Jonas is Jonas likes to use
other people's stories is a zo materia.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
That's not listen.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
I'm not using anybody's story. I'm simply relaying the message
that we talked about on the air. And if I
would have gotten an invite, I would have been there.
But unfortunately that didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
There wasn't you Just.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Stuff came up?
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Nothing?
Speaker 1 (38:00):
What what else you got, guys?
Speaker 10 (38:02):
NFL fans are convinced they saw a ref drop a
weed vake pen on the field during the Dolphins Titans
game last night.
Speaker 11 (38:09):
I don't know if you caught a glimpse of this.
I have a still friend.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
To be a fake pen.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Why can't it just be a vake Penyah?
Speaker 4 (38:16):
Could it be tobacco?
Speaker 10 (38:18):
I mean that's uh, that is a theory that is
out there. I've seen the pen it does look I
don't know. I guess I would say that looks like
a weed, fake pend.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
How would you know what a WEEDVA looks like?
Speaker 11 (38:29):
It's California, Brady, everybody's coming.
Speaker 9 (38:30):
Oh yeah, okay, I mean I'll say that.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
I say this, I will say this, hard to tell
if that if that joint had the glass, it had
the glass, Okay, then it was a week. That was
a week. Yeah I did. Actually if it was, if
it was, if it was like the little glass deal
where you that's that's weed, that's that's oil.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
Yeah, oil. This is something that I have no knowledge
of at all. Yeah, okay, it's not a backwood.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
We don't have to debate that now. If that's what
they saw, then that's what it was, you know' that's
you know, okay, what else? I mean?
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Do you think the NFL is gonna get on this guy?
Or is he going to say that he picked it
up because somebody else dropped it? Like that would be
my go to. I would blame it on somebody else.
You're dropping it, I'd say it was Will Levis's.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
We'd been.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Yeah, I know you're right now, Yeah, the bar's right. Yeah,
that does appear to be that.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
Let's see, I'll show you what a regular one looks like. Okay, nice, yeah,
but alhead Lee one. All right, guys.
Speaker 10 (39:43):
Next story, in case you missed this, scalpers are trying
to flip Costco golf clubs that sold out hours after
going on sale. And if you know Costco, you know
the Kirkland signature brand, you know little generic version. They say,
this one is close to a tailor made version of
Irons that normally sells at fourteen hundred, but Costco was
selling at four ninety nine. So now scalpers are turning
(40:05):
it around on the secondary market for more than twice
that minute.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
All right, Brady, if you bought one of these Kirkland clubs,
go take out and uh bought one Tartan.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
First off, it's not technically how it works, all right.
Speaker 6 (40:19):
You you'd buy a set of Irons, okay, by one club.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
The second thing is just buy.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
A driver and see how that works and then you
figure out the rest of the Why would you do that, pal? Yeah,
come on, be real here, that works? Pub I mean, Lee,
are you gonna buy some Kirkland clubs? You like to
golf a little bit?
Speaker 11 (40:40):
I do like to golf. I have my my sets
which are older, all hand me down.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
What do you wear when you go golf? Do you
wear outfit?
Speaker 1 (40:48):
I do normal?
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Yeah, that's the same out.
Speaker 6 (40:52):
You have to go to some like public course where
they don't care what you wear.
Speaker 11 (40:56):
Huh, well, sometimes I go to it if I've invited.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
I don't.
Speaker 11 (40:59):
I don't belong to a private course.
Speaker 6 (41:01):
So you did, though, would you wear what you normally
wear it to a private club?
Speaker 11 (41:04):
I'd wear pants in it.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Okay, just just make some jeans.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Golf
