(01:41):
unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road as a protection,
and over ten thousand recommended installers tire rack dot com
the way tire buying should be. How the hell we
feel in here on a Wednesday morning?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Oh wow, we got a flow that You hate it
when one of your teammates gives you false enthusiasm? What
do you mean false? What do you mean it was false?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Was that false?
Speaker 4 (02:04):
You're tired?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (02:05):
I'm not tired. I'm ready to roll? You sound you
actually sound like you're ready to roll?
Speaker 3 (02:10):
I am.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
I believe you're tired on the inside. I mean I
thought about sleeping. I thought about oversleeping today, did you Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I did.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
I thought about it.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Can you plan that or does it just happen?
Speaker 4 (02:24):
I just just you know, Lee? Yeah, you know, Lee
would be the authority on this question. You you make
a valid point there, Lee, can you schedule over sleeping
or does it just or does it just happen?
Speaker 6 (02:39):
You know, sometimes you decide like I'm gonna catch a
few extra diz's right now and push push the envelope.
So I guess that's technically scheduling over sleeping.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
M well, scheduled over sleeping, scheduled over sleeping. There you go,
that's what the sleep buttons for.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
I do know this though, job, Aaron. I mean, that
was profound, man, it was sometimes I hear that. Al Man, Well,
I just have already planned to hit the sleep button
and give more ease, all right.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Do you think Aaron Glenn is a hitting you think
Aaron Glenn is hitting the snooze button on the offer
the Jets have on the table, reportedly a lucrative offer.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
He did leave New.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
York or New Jersey where wherever the hell they do
those things. He did leave there and go back to Detroit.
But another report said they have told other candidates that
they're targeting Aaron Glenn. He's their leading candidate. He's the
guy that they feel like they want to have the job.
He's just mulling it over. Now that he goes back
to Detroit, it would be great for all of us
(03:51):
if Aaron Glenn decided just to walk away and say
now I'm just going to go back to Detroit to
go to New Orleans and continue on with my search.
But he would make a lot of sense he played there.
We talked about it a little bit yesterday. The question
just becomes, what do you do at quarterback? What's the plan?
Because one a team in your division is on the
brink of going too a super Bowl potentially, and they
(04:13):
got the quarterback position figured out, So it just feels
like the same problem is going to be there a Lah,
what's happening in Vegas with the Raiders.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
I mean, is it a problem or you have Rogers?
It's just whether or not you want that to be
your guy next year?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Do you think he would want to take that on.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
First year there? Like?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Because if you do look at it, it's not the
worst option in the world from a playing standpoint, it's
just all the stuff that comes along with it. And
I just I wonder if him taking over the organization
and taking over the helm would want to deal with
that right off the jump there.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
I think you have to have the conversation with what
does that even mean? By the way deal with what
you know.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
The other thing that comes with them. Yeah, I think
you got to have a conversation just based on upon
the feelings that have been you know, issued to the media,
whether from him himself, Aaron Rodgers, or from reports that
you've heard. So I think that it starts with ownership.
He's got to have a conversation if he's being hired
or he has to discuss his plan, And if Aaron
(05:17):
Rodgers is in that plan, I think he you know,
I think he has to get a firm hold of
what what the decision makers think first before he makes
any any more decisions than I would. I would say
I wouldn't feel comfortable making a decision like that, at
least pre pre pre hiring, unless I had the opportunity
to speak with him directly and speak with his teammates
(05:40):
to get an idea of what what we're dealing with
is this. Is this a guy who has the air
and the hearts of the guys in the locker room
or is he a problem? Is he a cancer? Is
he one of those guys that you know, when you
ask guys about him, they're like, yeah, we're better off
without him. I don't think you just as a new coach.
(06:04):
I don't think you just discard Aaron Rodgers. I mean,
we could talk about all of the chicanery that's connected
to all the things that have taken place since he's
gone to New York. But I don't think you just
discard him in any scenario. I think you got to
weigh it out before you move on from the situation.
So if I'm the head coach, I'm weighing out and
(06:27):
I'm measuring what it is. Even though I know I
still got to get another quarterback. You still know you
have to get another quarterback. You gotta do that. That's
first and foremost. You do know you have to get
another one just based off of his age. But I
wouldn't just again, I just wouldn't move on from Aaron
Rodgers if I were taking over the job and he
(06:48):
was still well, how.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Much of that do you think Woody Johnson or his
sons for that matter, I have in the back of
their mind. So when they're interviewing him, it's like, well,
what's your plan? How do you see our team? You know,
how how would you envision this year one going? And
maybe he's already given them. Then answer maybe that's one
of the reasons why they like Glenn. It's not just
his defensive mind acumen or the fact that he played
(07:11):
there and all the other.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Superlatives that he brings.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Maybe there's an element of like he's already given him
that answer, like, Hey, you've.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Got a problem, right.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
I would think most interviews, if you go into it,
you're looking at it from the outside, and they're gonna
ask you like, well, how do you view us, Like
what's your vision for us? And my response would be, well,
appears you have a problem. You think you you know,
have a quarterback issue or something. Just sit them, I
don't think you have an issue. Here's what I think
you do, or here's what I would do if I
(07:41):
an Aaron, and then go from there. And so I
think he's probably given them that vision or that answer
of what he wants to do along with I believe
it's a lance Newmark, and so they want to make
the general managers that accurate.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, yeah, the name I saw a thing.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
So I'm sure since those guys being hired together, they're
a lockstep and their provides a solution for whatever perceived
problem the Jets feel like they have outside of losing, right,
It's one thing as a coach to come and give
it a vision.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Off, Hey, here's how we're gonna win.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Okay, you've heard a thousand of those, but how are
you going to fix the locker room dynamic? How are
you going to fix you know, if there's a perceived
issue with ownership, like I hope he was, honestly just
say hey, look, this is what it was like when
I played. This is what it was like in a
place I just came from in Detroit. This is what
I want to build. And if i'm your guy, you
(08:30):
have to give me the free range or the autonomy
to build that sort of culture with the team.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
But it might take you stepping back.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
It's taking you stepping out of this not flying your
helicopter in over the practice facility, landing then waltzon out
of the practice field. Might be just kind of able
to stay out of side, out of mind. There's there's
all sorts of things that who knows what was said,
but I assume Aaron Glenn Lance newpart maybe both have
(09:02):
given them some sort of vision or plan for what
this team looks like with Rogers, because I can't imagine.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
You take this job and go, yeah, I'd rather.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
Have a question market quarterback. That just doesn't make any
sense to me. I think it's a great point too.
It's an excellent assertion of just the familiarity, right. You
don't know what you don't know. So if you're a
coach and you're coming into the situation and you're interviewing
and you are answering these questions, you're answering them in
(09:34):
the dark. I don't know this man's personality, his proclivities,
I don't know his habits. There's just certain things that
I'm not going to know if I've never been around
you or your organization. But Aaron Glenn has been here.
He has been on the inside.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
He has lived it as a player, and he's lifted
as a player with a team that had a lot
of leadership. You know, they had Mo Collins on that team.
They had Marvin Jones on that team. I mean they
had you know, some real John Abraham was on that team.
They had some real goons on that team. Man Curtis
Martin I believe was was on the team back then.
Like the I think when you look at the wisdom
(10:13):
and just the veteran feel of what Aaron Glenn brings
to the table. I think it definitely serves a purpose
to have the ability, as we mentioned with Dion going
to possibly Dallas in a scenario like that, I think
it has a ton of value that there's a familiarity
between the owner and the and the potential coach that
(10:38):
was a former player, because you can politely or gently
say hey, Woody, you know, just just a tack bit
of you know, just perspective there. You know, the helicopter,
you know, it's like, you know, like just gently put like,
you know, can you you know, can we do it.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Off off hours?
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Can you land it over by the gym?
Speaker 4 (11:01):
You know?
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Can you land it when we're not around? You know?
Or keep it in private? You know the helicopter in private?
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yeah? Yeah, you know.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
I mean and and sometimes it just takes you being
familiar with the lady friend, you know. I mean what
I mean he is a Johnson, you know, That's what
I'm saying. I mean, you know what his Johnson helicopter
around in public or that baby oil. Well, I'm not
saying that. I'm just saying I A'm.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Not saying it it's in private. Damn you keep that
helicopter in private.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
I mean it is that.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
You take things better.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
I think people take things better when they get it
from people that they have a familiarity with, because familiarity
in a lot of cases, if it's farm familiarity, then
it's the closest thing to trust, even though you got
to assume guys like that aren't trusted.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
I'm just worried about Rex Ryan. You know, he really
campaigned for the gig, like really, I mean he got
an interview.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Because he works out the Four Letter Network.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, but it just you know, if they.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Catch that spirit, you know, they'd be wanting to coach Geez.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
It's a real shame.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Maybe he should go be the decordinator at Penn State.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Do you think do you think that uh, do you
think Rex got a second interview or no? Or do
you think he was got a one and done?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
I mean, don't you guys think that that was like honestly,
like almost like a charade to say he got it
the first time, almost like almost kind of like a joke.
I mean, I don't know how it could be taken
seriously to hire him at this point. It's just I
feel like it's been too long and and just kind
(12:52):
of you know, maybe the storylines that surround him, I don't.
I don't see how they would, you know, the way
things ended in New York, how they take it seriously,
I don't know. I mean, the wheels fell off the
first time, they fell all the way off. Yeah, they
did have success, granted, but that's been quite a while.
(13:13):
When's the last time he's he's coached. When's the last
time he's you know, had success as an ad.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Let me see this in his defense.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
I do feel like I'm not trying to you know, no.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
No, no, I understand.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
But I was there in thirteen for half that season,
and one of the things that I felt immediately walking
in the building and sitting in team meetings and hadn't
talking with some people in the front office, and then
seeing how he coached, like, I liked him a lot
as a coach. He was very very likable, uh players
style of coach aggressive. I like the demeanor which he
(13:46):
handled things, you know, let guys be pros, but still
had a.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Structure around everything.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
But you could tell there's a disconnect there just was
in how they were building the team, how he was
coaching the team, what he wanted, and I mean they
had some talent, and there was definitely some some guys
and players that you're like, all right, like he have
some studs and they're they're given some of it, you know,
what he wants, but they just they weren't winning enough
(14:12):
at that point. And I don't know that they were
on the same page. I'm true, their front office and him,
but should be frustrating. And unfortunately, I think there's been
a lot of that. You know, there's been on different pages.
So I would have been really curious to see what
a second stint would have looked like.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
I think it would be.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Awesome for us because he just you know, he provides
so many comments and you know, different potential for talking
points for us. But I'm also excited for Aaron Glenn.
I'm curious to see what this looks like as a
head coach, a player who's familiar and all that, and
for a Jets team that again has talent, like this
(14:49):
team has underperformed. That's the best way of putting it.
And it's a loaded roster. If you're a coach, you
can maximize that.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
More power to you man, so more optimism than a
Roger be back next year. I like it, and you know,
let me tell you something. As the star of his
Netflix documentary The Enigma. I mean, you know, I'm a
fan of it. So if he could get back and that,
it's good for you, right, great? Me come on, keeps
us in the news a little bit longer, It keeps
you in the news, keeps us.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
I don't know what us has to do with it.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
I'm a we not me guy personally.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
You're kind of a we we guy, little we guy.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Wills Wills, Wills.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
Here's my thing is like I just you know, and
and Lee can attest to this, like you don't want
to be helicoptering around in public?
Speaker 3 (15:40):
You know?
Speaker 4 (15:41):
No, yeah, not a good idea at all. No, people
can get the wrong impression.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
What's helicoptering? You know those the things with the blades
they're all spinning around like that. Well, yeah, helicopter in private?
I figured you did. Oh that's fair, Oh whoa, that
is fair.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Well listen, it is two pros and a cup of
Joe here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
First seen you.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
So we are gonna have usuals coming up later on.

We've got our Midweek Awards. We're going to hand out

We're going to close up shop with another edition of
Lee's Leftovers. It is all yours here from the tire
Raq dot Com studios. Coming up next here though, somebody
has arrived. Somebody has arrived and they've got a message
(16:32):
for an entire organization. That's next here on FSR.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Alright with Gemen. Yeah, I want a gemmen.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
You just Rob Marley.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
We're Germen, Robert Nest the Marley.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Songs, Big and Dublin.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
This is like Lee's version of Jimmy Buffett.
Speaker 5 (17:16):
You know, I'm just saying, like what, you know, what
Bob Marley is to LeVar is Jimmy Buffett to Lee.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
You know what I'm saying, This is Levar's yacht Rock
exactly all right, easily, well easily they're usually on the
same mixes a different yacht though different yachts, you think.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Yeah, Marguerite Deville Radio. They played all they played.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Why is the yacht different? You know.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yours is nicer than these, you think, no, simple man,
yours is more likely to get messing.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
O J whole lot of oo j. And you're right,
well when ween what was wrong with Jodas?
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Dude? You need to help him, man, you need to
help this dude. He's a unique individual.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
I mean definitely, And I'm just trying to navigate the water.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Well.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
I wish people knew this at home.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
He really just wants to try to like mess with
people and like slap around and have fun. But he
does it in a very odd way where like what
he finds funnier entertaining, we won't necessarily find funny, which
makes it funny.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
And then.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
Yeah, that's kind of like this one time in Double
Ohio and I'm.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Like Jonas, not all right, here we go, he's doing
the whole when he acts like he's about to tell
a serious story, what are you talking about? But yeah,
it sucked all the blood out of someone last night.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Still because and then he takes that awkward pause and
then you know he's about to be be assing right now.
You really do start a lot of your stories off
like you're being serious and then it totally goes off
the cliff bro.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Listen, I just I don't know why this is happening
here right now, right like, why can't we just accept
who we are as people and just be.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
Just chase the ooh cha Yeah, because it's two pros
and a couple joke of your life from the tyrack
dot com studios.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Yeah, I mean, listen, that works. I'm just trying to
keep a professional here.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Now.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Let me be the one to keep a professor.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
We'll help you get there.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
An unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection,
and over ten thousand recommended installers who tyreck dot com
the way tire buying should be.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Well, listen, I know this the way it should be.
In Minnesota is Kevin O'Connell returning his head coach and
guess what extension is getting done? It is getting done,
and Kevin O'Connell is back with the Minnesota Vikings, and
apparently the discussion about him getting overtures from other teams
(20:04):
and teams waiting to see how it was going to
play out. According to ESPN, he was upset, was Kevin
O'Connell last season when ownership opted against extending him in
the midst of a startover or a do over at
quarterback with Kirk Cousins departing, and the reports of teams
lining up to trade for him was true, thinking that
(20:24):
maybe it might turn into a Mike McCarthy situation where
he just plays out the final or coaches out the
final year of his deal and then they come knocking
on the door. But ultimately they get the deal done.
And what's funny about Minnesota is that it kind of
feels like they're going into this next season the same
way they went into last season, to where the expectations.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Are going to be really low.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Who the hell knows what the season win total is
going to be, but you're basically starting a rookie quarterback
because I feel like they're probably going to move on
from Sam Darnold, like maybe that's the direction they go,
And so at least he gets the deal done here
to try and work through what could be a difficult year.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Don't you guys think that signing him to an extension
actually works in Sam Donald's favor? I mean, don't you guys?
I mean, that would be the best case scenario for
for Sam Donald in this this situation, right.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Or do they look at him and say he's proven
because he's been fantastic in Minnesota as Kevin O'Connell, he's
proven he can coach just about anybody and have success.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
So maybe that is.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
Kyle Shanahan, you know, kind of kind of getting like
that sort of reputation as an offensive play caller, like
plug him in and play him.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
You know. I do wonder if.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
You know, if they look at Sam Donald's body work
or they say, hey, the last two weeks just it
wasn't good enough. You know, that was what we put
all our eggs in that basket for the entire season,
and it wasn't good enough.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
So I just.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
It was expected. You knew they were going to extend him.
There's no way they were going to let Kevin O'Connell
go or trade him.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
No, that made sense.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
The question becomes more what do they do with the
quarterback spot? And I think having Darnald around gives them
some sort of sense of security, even though it could
lead to a bit of an issue with the quarterback spot.
Both have to be professional. Jaj McCarthy's coming back from
an injury. Eventually he'll be the guy so there's a
lot of questions that they'll probably have to answer this offseason.
(22:23):
And again, I think if you just go in say
it's going to be Jaje McCarthy, you could be setting
yourself back if you don't have a guy like Sam
Darnold on the roster who you know you can win with.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
I just look at it like this, to get the
extension is a great thing. I think what could possibly
be paying playing against maybe O'Connell is the way that this,
you know, this season ended. It does leave you on
the edge of reasoning in terms of was this fool
(23:00):
goal with Sam Donald or can we build from this?
Because while they did have a slip at the end
of the season, I mean, if we change his name
and we look at his body of work this season,
it's really no different than Lamar Jackson. It's really no
different than some of the top quarterbacks that well that
(23:23):
have come up short in the playoffs. There's really no difference.
I mean, the Ravens were a hotter team going into
the playoffs. They were winning, but nonetheless they end up losing.
I mean, they get out of first round. Some would
say that was a favorable game for them, and then
they lose the big one. Now look at you look
(23:44):
at how the Rams were playing. The Rams could have
won in Philadelphia. That was a team I'll continue to
say that was probably my and my estimation the third
hottest team coming into the playoffs side of Baltimore and
the Buffalo Bills, and they almost won. So the fact
(24:07):
that they lost to the Rams, I mean, I would
really be wondering, and I would really be debating and
fighting with myself and trying to poke holes in it
and then do it with my my scouts and then
do it with my coaches. How should I be looking
at Sam Darnold moving forward, Because if we did capture
(24:32):
something with him and we can continue to build on that,
it would be foolish. It would be foolish to rush
into putting JJ McCarthy in there. It would be foolish
to do it. There absolutely is no problem. If you
ask me and your estimation of when JJ McCarthy will
(24:54):
be ready to play, being at the two year, three year,
well three year four year mark, it could play out
like what took place in Green Bay. I don't see
there being an issue with that.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
What would you say is the biggest difference between Sam
Donald and Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
If you had to point to one, well, one is
black and one as well. I mean that's the quickest
observation of differences. I mean otherwise, I mean, one can
run better than the other. You know what else, I
don't know. One one weere's gold fronts, the other one doesn't.
(25:33):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
So if Sam Donald would have had gold fronts and
he would have advanced past the first I mean you.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Saw Kirk Cousins play it to perfection. He put the
gold on, he put the jewelry on. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
ten chains, you know, ten chains, Cousins. I'm just saying
he played it to perfection and it worked. You know,
he won the hearts over of his team mates, he
(26:01):
won the hearts over of the Atlanta Falcons, their decision makers,
and then he cashed in on it. So maybe Sam
Darnold needs to throw on a cagle, you know, Puma sweatsuit,
you know, or did a sweatsuit cagle? Yeah, you know,
get get going with it, you know what I mean.
Put a big old rope on. Ropes are you know,
(26:22):
I don't know that they're back in style, but I mean,
why not just throw a big old gold rope on.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
What about your linebacker? You chan you still got that line?
Where's that at? Did you get that? I have to
give that back?
Speaker 4 (26:33):
No, I haven't. I mean he must not want it
by waiting on him to hit me up? How did
you get that?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Who's he?
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Who from? From the gold? What's the name of the shop? Man?
I feel bad not knowing it off the top of
my head. Y'all caught me off. Y'all caught me off guard.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Uh, I mean when we caught you off guard?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Well, I don't know it off the top of my head.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
The gold shower you brought it up right?
Speaker 4 (26:53):
No?
Speaker 3 (26:53):
No, no, Jonas kind of set you.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yeah, I'm looking for it.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
I don't see it.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
I don't know. Well, I don't know, but it's definitely
shop Gold. Go at shop Gold. Yeah is g l
D shop g l D shop Gold. Shouts out to
my people, just shop Gold.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Yeah. These insurance on that thing, I think they just
let a ride.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
I mean you've seen it. I mean it's a you're
saying there's a real diamond.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
I mean, I don't know. I don't know. I mean
what the quality of them are, what the level of
it is. I don't know what they are. I just
know that it looks good. That was the one that
was on display at the at the event.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Yeah, who cares if it's authentic or real.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
I think it was authentic. Definitely authentic. It's definitely authentic.
I mean I could sit here and be the guy
that's just all yeah, it's all real. I don't I
don't know. I just think it looks It's very shiny.
It does seem like something Jonas would be. Yeah, and
it's definitely heavy. You know when this fake stuff it's
like really light, light weight and stuff like that. That
(28:10):
thing is like carrying a small person around your neck. Seriously,
it is really heavy. It's like super heavy list But
you know, I think heavy is the head of the crown,
you know, if you're a linebacker from linebacker, you you
know that's all.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
I wear it with pride and I still have it
right there. I see it every day in my in
my closet. It's like right there where myther jewelry is
like bam, right there, big as hell.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Sweet yep.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Yeah, good for you, Yeah, thanks also elsewhere in the
NFC North the.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
And good for Kevin O'Connell.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yeah, and he's going to see more of Ben Johnson
in the NFC North, who is now the head coach
of the Chicago Bears. Ben Johnson showed up to Hallas
Hall yesterday in Chicago.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Most coveted job of the and he.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Greeted all the employees there in the building and it
sounded like this.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
Listen, thank you so much. My family and I were
beyond excited. This is exactly where we wanted to be,
exactly where we want to be. This is this is
gonna be a challenge.
Speaker 9 (29:17):
I'm will aware that I know what this division is about,
and this is exactly where we want to be.
Speaker 8 (29:24):
We're gonna go after this thing, and it's gonna take
all of us in this room.
Speaker 9 (29:27):
It's gonna take this locker room. It's nothing more important
than that locker room and us serving that locker room
and those players. All right, they need to understand that
and they need to feel that from us every single day.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
And if we do that, the.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Wins are gonna come.
Speaker 9 (29:45):
The playoffs are gonna come.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
All right, can't wait. Get to know you guys, and
thank you so much for them to warm up.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Yeah, it's not a very uh I'm talking about then,

like how Dan Campbell's voices you came from Dan Campbell.
Speaker 3 (30:20):

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Is he gonna bite me? Or is he talking to
me like that? Good? I mean he came in there.
That's that voice was a little you know, that was
a little That was a little Daniels.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
That's a little Miami dolphin.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Ish little McDaniel.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
He's gotten better though, he he he got Miami West.
Somebody west him. Is he married? He's married, isn't he? Yeah?
I don't know. Man, somebody vice him, Man, tell what
are we talking about? Totally changed stuff? Uh, Mike McDaniel. McDaniel, right,
he was always like that. Yeah, he changed, he got
he got a little bit more Miami and he he's
(31:10):
if you look at his early early pictures too, his
like latest pictures.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
He's definitely evolved.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Friend, joggers, and uh, he's.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Evolved, man like.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
He looks pretty smooth now, like somebody did a make
over on him. I'm telling you he's his swag is
strong now, super strong. And he doesn't talk like he's
going to the principal's office anymore.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
It's like more like, you know, so, how did he
used to sound like.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
Well, we're playing in the game and then going a
Wayne and dang.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
He got caught with weedy.

one of my six figure cars that I own, and
I'm going to pull out, maybe at Prime or maybe

(32:09):
is what we're gonna do, and I'm gonna tell you.
I'm going to give you the plan. Like he's way
more he's way more confident with it now, he's way
more confident. He was unsure of himself before. He sees
all the way sure. Now he's all the way sure.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
No, he's done a good job. And the thing about
it is, anybody steps to him. Just pull out that burner.
I mean, why not pull out that burner?
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Right? I mean that's what it comes down to if
you really think about it. And the funny thing about it, Hey,
when you think about burners, I think about the leader
in less lethal self defense, and you know I'm all
about the defense. So listen, They're legal in all fifty states.

In case you missed this update on a story we've
talked about a few times before. We've talked about the
arrests or the burglarizations of NFL players around the league,
including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce. Joe Burrow said that the
FBI has gotten involved. Well, now there is an update
(34:37):
there have been four arrests of for Chilean nationals in
connection to the burglarization of Joe Burrow's home. They found
that they found some l s U gear, some Bengals
gear uh and have charged them with a number of
things including.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
Uh, come on, Lee, you got it?
Speaker 6 (34:56):
Oh man, Oh lord, oh man, what is it? I
got the wrong report here? But it basically they got
the arrest they found.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
The four nationals port WHOA, well, no.
Speaker 6 (35:07):
Yeah, yeah, I have the wrong I put up the.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Wrong lenk but we're all good.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
WHOA, So.
Speaker 6 (35:14):
The criminal gang engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity,
obstruction official business, and position of criminal tools.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
That's what I was looking for.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Oh uh, these guys have made the rounds in uh
in the US. The Chilean crime ring.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Is again this is your expertise showing us just Uh.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
They came out to a Gore Hills out here and
robbed some guy's house and didn't realize that the guy
was home and he was a former boxer and put
his hands on him all suddenly the mugshot. He lit
this guy on fire with left hand, just annihilated him
and they ended up resting like three of them, and
it was like this whole crime ring that they got
(35:52):
going on. So but at least Joe Burrow. It feels
like Joe Burrow had other problems though, or other issues
with that that break in, like maybe somebody was there
that shouldn't have been there, and you know, all the
stuff that came out afterwards, So.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
All the stuff that came out after like like you know,
like a guest there, an assistant, paid assistant, Yeah, paid assistant? Yeah, yeah,
mean why don't you ever use that?
Speaker 4 (36:17):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Oh he does?
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Oh that's a good what a good move?
Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah? What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (36:25):
I don't think me?
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Dang are a paid assistant on the payroll?
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (36:33):
What else we got?
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Guys?
Speaker 6 (36:36):
In case you missed this, obviously, Mark Andrews is get
in some heat with his fans. He's received death threats unfortunately,
and comments all that awful stuff. Will Bill's Mafia stepped
up to the play, creating a GoFundMe page for his
charity for juvenile diabetes. They had a goal of five
thousand dollars. They've farced pass that, reaching at least thirty
eight thousand dollars as of now.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Good job Bill's Mafia.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
Yeah, is there any better? Like fan base that's more supportive.
I feel like they've done multiple things like this, right.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Yeah, but they also they're kind of mean to Jerry Coleman,
who covers the Ravens. He listens to the show all
the time. He said a few years back that it's
the city of losers, Buffalo is and so during the
game on Sunday they posted his audio and we're just
giving him the business. So they can be pretty cruel,
(37:28):
but you know it's nice.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Why is that cruel? He said it. He's got to
own up to it.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Yeah, very true. Yeah, yeah, is he wrong?
Speaker 3 (37:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (37:38):
I mean do we know enough about Buffalo people to
say whether he's right or wrong.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
I mean they've lost four Super Bowls.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
They had to make it there and it was in
a row by the way, which will probably never have Well,
maybe Casey will do it.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
I got to go to that stadium before they tear
it down. Like that reminds me of nineteen nineties football.
I gotta go to the stadium before they tear it down.
Speaker 5 (38:05):
You got to man, like that's just a bucketless trip
for you. It is, you know, get some wings too
while you're there.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
Like you don't like you don't really get it, like
Brady's more of it. I need I need a golf
resort and I need you know, palm trees and beaches.
Send me to you know, send me to hard hat lunch.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
Yeah, hard hat lunch. Pale guy who lives in southern California.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
That's right, the main streets.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
Who's never lived anywhere else.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
By the way, Literally dodging golf balls.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
Your biggest concerntive is if the crosswalks out of the
major intersection.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
That's not a real issue. Yeah, in California, that's.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
Not any Other people who are in this polar vortex
are dealing with sub zero temperature.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
You see the beaches in Florida are getting dumped on
with snow.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Destined all that. Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (38:52):
Someone someone saw the common They're like, Trump gets an
office and fixes global warming.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
No in Florida. It's like, well, I was always stowing
in Florida.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Depends on no.
Speaker 6 (39:08):
What else we got, guys, In case you miss this,
Ichiro Suzuki became the first Japanese born player elected to
the National Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday, following one vote
shoot one vote.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Shy of a unanimous selection.
Speaker 6 (39:21):
Gonna be in that twenty twenty five class with CC
Sabathia and Billy Wagner.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Who's the douche who didn't vote him man unanimously? Who's
the guy?
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Is it right?
Speaker 1 (39:28):
I hope it's Rob Parker? Please let it be Rob Parker.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Do you think they have that list? Why?
Speaker 1 (39:36):
Why do you have to be all because it's only
happened one time before? We can't let him. Who's arguing
whether or not he's a Hall of Famer, Like, why
do you give these nerds the power to do this?
He's a unanimous put him in? That's ridiculous. Hey, what
else we got?
Speaker 4 (39:53):

Nothing else, nothing else, Nope,
