You got angry?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Why is that?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Because when do you play this song outside of maybe
working out?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Uh not? Even then, I don't even listen to musical workout.
You don't know, Oh wow, when I'm reading to my son,
or like we're playing a Monster Trucks, I'll throw on
some fear Factory maybe slipknot. You know, it just depends
on what we're in the mood for.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
You know what I was listening to the morning on
my drive man.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
But I'll tell you, I'm gonna let you do for me.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
It's not really that funny. It's not.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
It is no cues, it's really not. The acting is
so bad. I'll tell you what I'm gonna let you
do for me. Oh that's funny.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Anyway, I was. I was listening to kind of if
you're being, If you're being, I mean, you're right and
and and like and the literal ability that a literal
literalness of it. Yeah, you're right, you're right. But the
way he said it, I'm sorry, what were I'm sorry,

(02:44):
it's got funny. I was listening to Mozart this morning. Man,
love Mozart really yeah, yeah, it was like I needed
some you know, I like, I like orchestra music, and
I like I like opera music too, man, Yeah, I
really do. Like sometimes I just really get into it,
like when i'm when i'm like doing like work and

(03:06):
stuff like that, I like to listen to like things
that are really like kind of like chords and strings
and wood winds and all that stuff that's like really
stimulating to. Like you're like, I don't know, like the
fibers you got going on in your body. It's pretty good, man,
Like stimulates me pretty good. Like my mind gets to
working really good and I get real good work done.

(03:28):
I was listening to it on the way in here. Man.
I feel pretty good. Yeah, I feel like more stimulated. Like,
you know, I listened to a lot of hardcore s too,
and I don't know that I feel it. Go ahead,
finish it, get back. What was the next thing he said?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Why do you stop there?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
What do you mean? Johnson sounded like inn word to me.
I just I feel like people are like, oh, this
is hardcore. That song blasts in my head.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
That's interesting, dude, okay, q ice que yeah, yeah, I
can call ice cue all.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Right, all right, well, you know this is unfortunate, all right.
Mike McCarthy done dirty by the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones,
who couldn't get a deal done, thus going back to
Brian Schottenheimer. Mike McCarthy had decided, with one job remaining,
and that being the New Orleans Saints, who again, they've

(04:42):
been dealing with snowstorms out there, so you know, give him,
cut them some slack, only fire their coach in November fourth,
But who cares about all that. Mike McCarthy has decided
to pull his name out of the job opportunity with
the Saints. Cliff Kingsbury did the same. It appears that
Ellen Moore, the Eagles offensive coordinator, is the front runner.

(05:03):
He had another interview with them, I believe Monday night.
And so that's the way this is trending. But Mike McCarthy,
according to Tom pellisera in the NFL network, is focusing
on the twenty twenty six hiring cycle as opposed to
this hiring cycle. So I don't know what that says
about the Saints job and what people feel about the
Saints job. But old Mike McCarthy's going to go ahead

(05:23):
and sit this next year out. He did it once
before and it worked.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Out for him.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
He got the Cowboys job.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
It worked out.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Wasn't that the year when he took a deep dive
into analytics?

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, yeah, at least that's why I told everyone, Yeah,
just because that's like the trendy thing to do, is like, oh,
if you're not if you're not looking at the analytics,
you definitely can't be a head coach in the NFL,
which I think someone described it best. And I've always
laughed when people are like, oh, what about the analytics?
All the data and analytics? Do people realize like teams

(05:53):
have always done this, Like they've always had data analytics,
They've always had an idea of why they're going on
fourth down, why they're going on these situations like they've
always had this, they've always scouted, they've always known how
they're going to be, you know, aggressive in certain circumstances.
I mean, it just it makes me laugh every time.

(06:14):
The difference is the majority of the times was the
head coach that used that data and analytics and used
his gut and used whatever else. You know, maybe it
was his intuition that he would feel to go for it.
So it's like, it's funny, we've built out these data
analytics departments and everyone thinks it's just about going for

(06:35):
it on fourth down. It's like no, or when to
go for two. It's like, no, this is not just
that the data and analytics department, if anything, has been
built out in franchises for scouting so that they have
more metrics on players that they're scouting in the college

(06:56):
level at the NFL level that they're trying to get
a sense for war. It's for everything, as far as
how they can potentially determine injuries, how they can look
at other you know, metrics to potentially look at how
a guy's going to perform. But anyway, not to get
on a tangent, It's just it's funny to me because
that year he took off, Everyone's like, oh yeah, he

(07:18):
took that deep dive into the data and analytics. He's
an analytics guy. Now, it's like, well, all right, does
Anyonet recall remember him doing anything out of the norm
over his time with the Dallas Cowboys. Well, I mean
the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I mean, by the way, only got worse, which I mean,
like everybody just like just.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Like was was was Zeke playing quarterback at one point? No,
he was snapping the ball.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
It was the.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Play the game analytics And what did the analytics say
about New Orleans chances of winning this year?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Uh? I actually go to the magic a ball for
that one. Unlikely.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, they're in salary cap hell correct, because there's some
talk that they're not in a good position cap wise
as well too, which is why because I mean that
division feels.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Like, you know, it's still up for grabs. I mean
with Tampa's the Tampa's like the one right now, but
I mean who else? Who else will get.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
It Atlanta if Michael develops. But you know that's that's
a question.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Mark question mark.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
They do got good personnel though in Atlanta Saints. No,
you got Derek Carr Saints. No, I mean that's something Carolina.
Do they improve? Who New Orleans is? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (08:43):
New Orleans, New Orleans, the Titans and the Giants are
last to uh in odds to win the Super Bowl
next year.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I'm surprised, but I mean, keeping it, keeping it uh
Saints centric. What is there to be positive about if
you're a Saints fan, if you're someone in the Saints organization,
Does Kellen Moore move.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Their next week? You don't think people in New Orleans
are excited about it?

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Who Day?

Speaker 3 (09:08):
I mean that has nothing to do with their team,
Who Day?

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Their city?

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Who they think is gonna beat them Saints?

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Oh No, and long ways away from that, A long
way away from that.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Who Day.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I just don't know. I think that it's a legitimate
question at this point. Who they like? What like?

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Who are they?

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yes, I think it's a legitimate question. Hey, it aim
for and it aim for winning, and it's it's a
little ways away from Drew Brees and them boys. I
just said, I just don't know who are they. I
got a question about the analytics stuff you brought up, Brady,
from coaches that are still around. Does any coach get

(09:55):
the information from his analytics guy nowadays and just be.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Like, yeah, yeah, hey, pipe down geek, So we're going
for it, like like we're going for like I understand
what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Like, here's the problem is, I think most most likely
the analytics geek is telling the coach to always go
for it, and he's more often than that, probably looking
at the back of the kid going yeah, pipe down, kid,
because your model that you always say, I'll just go
for h yeah, fourth and eight, yeah, yeah, go for it. Yep,
the fourth and fourth go for it, go for it.

(10:28):
I mean, it's kind of becoming a running joke. Have
you ever seen where it doesn't say to go for it?
On the ESPN graph they put on the bottom line, right,
it almost always says go for it. It's like, unless
it's so obvious, fourth and fifteen on your own twenty, no,
you're gonna pun on this one. Like they don't even
put it up because it's so obvious. So there's this

(10:48):
idea that they have, like anytime it's plus fifty and
any point at the time of the game it's fourth down,
just go for it. That's what the analytics say, any
coach will tell you there's a couple things that play
that is not ever factored in, and all these analytics
people can say this. But when you interject into the
game and you decide to do that and you don't

(11:08):
get it, and you don't do that enough, you know
what happens, get your ass fired. That's how this works.
So it's all good in theory, and I've always felt like,
as much as you want to have all those data
and analytics, each event is independent of the other, meaning
there are so many variables. I don't know how your

(11:30):
data and analytics as far as when you should go
or not, because if you're applying, for example, the situation
of that fourth and four on the plus thirty five,
depending on the timing of the game in that game
that scenario, not every single matchup on the offensive line

(11:50):
of d line is the same in that scenario, not
even throughout the course of the game. You can have injuries,
you can have other things to play a factor. So
if you're looking at like your success rate, you know,
expected value, whatever other bath term you would to look at,
or the win probability and how going for it will
affect that, you're not factoring in all the variables that
could have changed in that moment, who's on the field,

(12:12):
who's banged up, who's not that given week, that given game,
what the matchups are upfront. Obviously that the weather is
going to factor into some of those things too, if
they're not playing in a dome and depending on the weather. Like,
there's all these little things and everyone's gonna say in
their model like, no, we've got some of that building.
It's like, you can't be exact because only a coach
is down the field looking at his players, talk to

(12:33):
his players, knowing what some of the guys are battling through.
That might be banged up, they might have injuries, or
they might have other things going on in their matchup,
but they're telling them something else. So that analytics person
is just looking at a piece of paper based on
everything they've crunched going into the game. Once you get
in the game, it's a completely different battle. And so

(12:54):
I think more often than not, coaches probably turned back
there like yeah, no, I'm gonna punt or I'm gonna
kick the field goal here, I'm not going for it.
And this is why where I think an Alex geeks
to start because it was what's there, like, what's the downside?
Like are they ever going to get an award for
telling them to punt? Probably not right, they're they're probably

(13:14):
gonna be more appreciated when they tell him to go
forward to do this there or you know, this is
the I'm going to do this.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
I heard an interview Olden Krutz was on the law
in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Of course I do. There's no one Jonas loves more.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Cruise.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
He was tough Jonas tell how tough?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
So tough, borderline hall of famer and and listen, don't
pick a fight with him because if.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
You're if you're a teammate of his, is do you
have Patrick asking Julian Edelman if he's be a Hall
of Famer?

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Was he really?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I think I saw that yesterday.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
What are your thoughts on that? Like if you had to, like,
what are you in city?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I don't have a vote.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
But he makes a good case. There's a good case
for does he.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I thought he was awesome in the playoffs. I don't
know that like arraatively speaking to every other wide receiver
that's made it, and I don't know if that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Let me just tell you Willie McGinnis was awesome in
the playoffs. I feel like he should be considered too.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
What's he up to?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
So as somebody made So I'll put it this way, Levars,
somebody made three Pro Bowls. Do you think a guy
should make it who's never been a Pro Bowl?

Speaker 3 (14:20):
It's a hard one. I think it's is it. There's
some guys in there that don't have very many Pro Bowls.
That's and and and listen. I don't ever think that
I'm gonna make the I don't even it's not even
a thought that crosses my mind.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
But that, okay comes for over one thousand yards as
a receiver three times in his career.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
You begin to have the conversation, right, like that opens up?
Whybe the conversation right? No, not even close? Huh, Okay,
give me the point. I mean, well, the points like
if you played eleven years like Mike Evans.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Has Mike played for now?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, and he's had a thousand yards every single ever.
There's people and there's people who there's people who don't
know if like they like, was he a Hall of famers? Like, yeah,
he's a hall of famer because I don't know if
he doesn't have enough all pros or whatever people need
to justify it. But like if Mike Evans is anyone
questions him, then like, I don't know that you're gonna
put enjoy that of it.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
And I think that's more of a first ballot. That's
the question of if he's a first ballot Hall of
Fame or with Mike Evans, right, that's what I would question.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
In general, if you yeah, really yeah, Which it's crazy
again because I think there's there's people who feel like
the Hall of Fame is, you know, only for the
guys who were the cream of the crop. It was
a Dian Sanders he said it. Yeah, how they starting
to water it down or whatever? He said that.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
So I don't know, I got the one I wanted.
So I don't know. Some guys in the in the
Hall of Fame don't have very many Pro bowls. Some
of them don't have very many all pros.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Which, by the way, congratulations to Drake May and Russell
Wilson pro bowlers. Yeah they were voted in alternates who
Drake May and Russell.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Will Russell Wilson Pete's guy, Russell Wilson.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Hell yeah, do you think about that bar.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Who does Drake may play for North Carolina? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Who? No, seriously, who does he played for Patriots?

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Patriots? That's what I throw.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Fifteen touchdowns, ten picks this.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Year Pro Bowler Russell Wilson in eleven games, like, give
him some credit, Russell.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Wilson rated that would have been fifteen three.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Games of Russell play. Did he play a lot of
games about the same that he was about the.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Same until Russell Wilson. Yeah, that's what I'm saying, playing
eleven games? Yeah, he playing eleven games? Okay, yeah, so
congratulations guys. Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
I mean, I don't know where the Pro Bowl is.
Did you say speaking of water down? Is that what
you said? Was that your sa?

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Okay, well there you go.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I mean, well, here's how we'll say. In eleven games,
sixteen touchdowns, five picks. But you don't I don't know.
I'm saying I thought Russell played really well this season.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
I'm not surprised by that. If you look at the
AFC as far as the guys who may or may
not play it, you know.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
How many quarterbacks make the Pro Bowl? Three?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Three?

Speaker 3 (17:19):
And Russell Wilson and Drake may are the three that made.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
It too well. Josh Allen's got is a wrist injury. Okay,
is obviously playing in the Super Bowl. C J.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Stroud said no, okay.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
She just shouts to know. Burro said no, right o.
Lamar said no, okay, Well there you go. Now it
makes more sense.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Yeah, it's just that.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Ain't watered down. That's uh, that's hole in the bottle.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Like that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Would I even want to accept like, yeah, I'm a
pro bowler, Like, do you realize like, Okay, Mahomes is
still playing. This guy said no. This guy said no,
once you get past two or three guys, that's it. No,
what are you going to accept it for? I would
never be a fourth, fifth, sixth option alternate to go

(18:11):
to the Pro Bowl?

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Naw, where's it at Orlando? Again? That's fun.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
I must say no too. I'm gonna have to pass,
but thank you respectfully. Yeah, I mean, at some point
you get to what number twenty twenty five, somebody's going
to say yes.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
By the way, somebody's got to carve out an opportunity.
And when we see Pete Prisco in New Orleans next
week to point out that Russell Wilson is a pro
bowler and just let him rant for about five six minutes,
like somebody's got to take that opportun.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Who's worse him? Will Rob Parker, who's a bigger hater.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Oh god, ah the way. I asked Rob Parker if
he could send any merch for the baby and he
said yes, And I don't think it's coming.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Well did you pay? Did you pay for shipping? I
asked if I had to, and he said no. But
get it doesn't sound like it's coming to eight time close. Yeah,
probably not not unless you can orchestrate it. And although
maybe it'll show up at Super Bowl and deliver it
to you.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Yeah, do you uh you know?

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Oh yeah, listen, I care about the clock. I'm a
clock guy, through and through. Two pros and a couple
of Here we go on Fox Sports Radio, Brady Quinn Jones.
You so, we are gonna have the usuals coming up
later on. We do have another listen in case you
missed it. We've got our MIDWEK Awards. We're also going
to check in with the old p that'll be yours
here at hour three. It's all yours here from the
Tiraq dot Com Studios up next. Though apparently somebody got

(19:38):
really screwed over and there's still bitter about it in
the NFL. We'll get into that for you right here
on FSR.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here coming
up a little over fifteen minutes from now from the
tire Rack dot Com Studios. We do have the results.
The numbers are in good news, not so good news
for the National Football League. We'll get into that for
you here on FSR.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Well, which one is it?

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Well, we'll find out, okay, good, fifteen minutes from now.
By the way, you guys, remember how John Gruden was
once the coach of the Raiders, had a lot of
say within the organization, and then you know, some emails
came out and next thing you know, he was no
longer the coach of the Raiders, and he was canned
and kicked to the dirt during a Monday night game,
I believe, and Rich Basaccia took over led them to

(20:40):
the playoffs. They lost to the Bengals and the wildcard round.
The Bengals went on to go to the Super Bowl
that year. Well Mark Davis talked about the addition of
Tom Brady to the Raiders organization and made sure to
point out that John Gruden, formerly of the Raiders, maybe
the organization and him got done dirty by the NFL.

Speaker 8 (21:03):
Bringing in Tom Brady was bringing in somebody that was
on the football side that I had been lacking having
here at the organization back in I guess it was
eighteen With John Bruden. He was somebody that I brought
in and really expected to be that person on the
football side that would bring his ability to the organization.
He had a ten year contract and all that, and

(21:25):
his head was chopped off and we were put in
a really bad.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Position as an organization.

Speaker 8 (21:31):
We want to build something here, and again that's been
the process and the mindset all along. Like I said,
it got offset or you know, kind of blown up
when John Gruden was sent away, and so we've been
trying to get it right since then.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
And we'll see. But I've got patience.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Mark Davis strikes me as somebody who wasn't all in
on John Gruten getting cliffed the way that he chopped off.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Well, do you what, gay guys recall how all of
what came to light came to light?

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Yeah, because they were going after Dan Snyder.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Right, it was all because of discovery in a separate lawsuit.
I believe in Arizona. It's like a court there somewhere
or something. I mean, that's the crazy thing is it
was brought to light and it feels like someone maybe
had a bone to pick and that's why they wanted
to go about doing that, and he, unfortunately was collateral.

(22:28):
And by the way, I'm not making a case for
defending John Gruden. What he did. What he did was
heinous and wrong, and what he said was heinus and wrong. However,
I do I do believe the second chances for people,
and I do feel like he's tried to build back
up not only his reputation, his brand, but also the
fact he loves football. I mean, he's he's working for

(22:50):
barstool now.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Man, he's great.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
I mean, how many head coaches because I can only
think of one have taken that turn. I mean, like
he's he is really trying to kind of pave the
way to become more relatable to younger generations and find
a way of you know, still impacting people's lives in
the game of football. So it's completely understandable when you

(23:14):
have a ten year deal, you know, with John Gruden,
and you feel like the team's going in the right direction.
Like I think it was going in the right direction
back then, aside from the Antonio Brown stuff, which was bizarre,
but that would be incredibly frustrating to have all this
come to light purely because of little Danny Snyder.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
And it was part of the selling point for them
in the move to Vegas was listen, we've got a plan.
John Gruden's our star, will build around him and build
around the organization.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
And that wasn't gonna change things. I mean, the NFL
wanted them to be in Las Vegas.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
But it's also you look at what's happened since then,
and I know what Mark Davis is saying, we had
a plan, but it's been you know, thrown off of course,
But like you know, since then, you know, you didn't
have to trade Derek Carr. You didn't have to hire
Josh McDaniels. You didn't have to blow out Antonio Pierce
after a year. You didn't have to trade DeVante Adams,
you didn't have.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
To do so.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I just like Mark Davis is there for all of that.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
So, but isn't that what he was kind of saying
in his explanation. Yeah, but he's just that he's making
the very decisions that you're you're saying, he's making those
decisions and he doesn't have somebody that understands it the
way that he would like for them to understand it.
I think he's making you're making his point, you're further
making his point.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
But his point is, yeah, well we were you know,
look what happened to us back in twenty twenty one. Fair,
totally fair. What about the year since there's been moves
that they've made that.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
But he hasn't brought anyone on in his estimation that
is going to bring As he mentioned, that stability, that
that understanding of how to build build the franchise the
way they need to build it.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Is sad to think about it. They are four and twelve,
seven and nine, so one from fourth to third in
the AFC West in Oakland. They moved to Las Vegas,
mind you, during COVID, right like the worst possible time
to move and try to then have a stadiu him
up and running, et cetera for your inaugural season. And

(25:21):
they still finish eight and eight, get second the AFC West.
So they're continuing to improve. And I believe he resigned
after what five games, They're like three and two at
that point. It was early, but arguably it could have
been their best season in twenty twenty one. So it's
just I'm sure it's frustrating for Mark Davis to look
back and think what could have been. I mean four

(25:41):
years later. By now, maybe they're not sitting as the
cellar dweller to the AFC West, and maybe they looked
at it completely different. You know, maybe DeVonta Adams is
still there, Max Crosby, all these you know, great players.
Maybe they're not frustrated with the situation and want to
stay there and play for him.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Yeah, they've blown out two coaches, two gas since then.
And also, and this is not a shot at Tom Brady,
but he's assuming that Tom Brady's going to have the
plan in place to be able to guide the organization, Like,
what experience at that level does Brady have that you

(26:18):
would just assume that, Okay, well, he's the great fix
all for John Gruden.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
I'm sure they've had enough sit down conversations where he
feels out he's about that listen, experience. There is no
substitution for experience in terms of being in the seat.
And he will have some humbling moments as as he
embarks upon trying to build a winner in Vegas. But

(26:46):
if you're going to take a chance on somebody who
doesn't have that much experience in sitting in the seat
of building a franchise out, if I'm going to take
a risk, if I'm gonna take a flyer on, somebody's
probably going to be someone of the caliber of Tom Brady.
He's aren't that, He's aren't that right. And I've always

(27:07):
felt as though guys that play out a high caliber
and a high level, and and that high level extends
beyond just being a player, a guy like Drew Brees
or like a Peyton Manning, those those types of guys.
You know, when you see that that high level of

(27:30):
thought and the understanding of how that's connected to the
front office and and just the decision makers that are
not a part of the players, the personnel players. I
think you I think you have to have the conversations
with him, but I think you find a level of

(27:51):
comfort and knowing that, Okay, he speaks the language, he
understands what he's saying. He there's a team of people
that that he will lean on, mentorship, whatever it may be.
You don't get to where they've gotten to without having
a strong group of people surrounding you in terms of
the decisions that you're going to make. So it's not

(28:11):
just Tom Brady alone, and I think people should understand
that it's not going to be Tom Brady solely and
by himself alone builds this amazing franchise in the Las
Vegas Raiders. He's going to have a lot of assistance
from people who do have that experience and that he
probably knows and has trusted for years and they've built

(28:31):
that rapport.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Well, enjoy fourth place in that division, you know, because
that's what it's going to look like the next ten
years if you don't get a quarterback. So that's a
nice thought for the Raiders. So have fun with that.
I mean, listen, the least they could do is just
try and get in better shape. And I think that's
really the goal here.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Well, if that's the case and they want to try
to get into a little bit of a better them

By the way, Lee, somebody was bitching on Twitter yesterday
that the podcast hours aren't in order. Sometimes that's a

(30:42):
uh that's not on you, right, that's just.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
On Yeah, that's on you, is it?

Speaker 1 (30:46):
I was? I was venting about that myself.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Uh yeah, uh.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
You were, so you're inventing I got yourself to yourself.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I was against yourself.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
I was.

Speaker 7 (30:56):
I was because sometimes just for no reason, what was
to have something will take longer to load, so I
put him in the right order. But because perhaps one
hour takes a little bit longer to process apps, so.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
I gotta I gotta space those out better. It's on me.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I suppose I'll take it.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
But uh no, it shouldn't have done that.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Yeah, I don't. I don't think it's on you. I
think you should be exonerated. I was upset when I
saw that.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
He was upset when he saw it too.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
I was good, but weren't we all makes sense right now?

Speaker 2 (31:30):
It is time.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
So you were upset at yourself?

Speaker 6 (31:33):
Always okay, sometimes you can't get to everything in the
world of sports or entertainment.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Good thing.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
The guys are here to bring you.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
In case you.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Missed it, and speaking of Witch, for that, we turn
it over to our executive producer, Lea.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
Lap Good more than everybody. Good morning, Jodas, Good morning Brady,
Good morning LeVar.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Guys.

Speaker 7 (31:57):
In case you missed this, the ratings are out, the
team ratings, and the Chiefs versus the Bills has.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Broken the news record and they have put up a.

Speaker 7 (32:04):
Fifty seven point four million viewers on average, breaking the
previous AFC Championship record that was set last year by
Chiefs Ravens. All right, for what about the NFCNFC totally
different story on that side, forty four point one million viewers,
which was the least watched NFC champions championship since twenty eighteen.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Forty four million. Oh, they're doing horrible. That's a lot NFL.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Still, king, No one's going to deny that. It also
helps to have it on a Sunday on a broadcast network.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Listen, I'm lucky to be one of those forty four million,
and anybody that's not you're a complete loser. So I
hope you know that whatever you were doing that was
superseded watching NFL this past Sunday paled in comparison to
what you should have been doing, which is watching those
games like we did.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
I think about that like Shonas did football. Right, I'm
talking about what else.

Speaker 7 (33:02):
We got, lead, guys. What else we have is the
uniforms for the Super Bowl. Chiefs have elected to where
their road unis, while of course the Eagles will wear
ther home green. But what makes this interesting is that
the team that has won their road unis has won
sixteen of the last twenty Super.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Bowls and the one of the two exceptions in the
last decade are the Eagles and the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
And Chiefs, so it really doesn't go either way there.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
And by the way, isn't it the Eagles who got
to choose which one they wanted to wear? So they're
going to go with the green ones. Why don't they
go with the throwback ones? You know, go with the
cooler ones.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Did you do that for a Super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (33:41):
I mean why not?

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:43):
I know they should.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Anyone's done that.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I feel like they should both wear their home uniforms.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Yeah, they could get away with the Oh so.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Like dark and dark red like what they call it
a color wave or color right whatever? And both teams
Oh god, no, not those. I'm just saying dark colored,
Like why not both wear your home uniform Why?

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Dark wy? Why white uniforms? Lee break the tie please?

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Lee? I like both home colors? What what colors would
those be? Lee?

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Raina Rey ray ray ray break the Tide?

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Is Christmas a valid answer? Green and red?

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Right? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Okay, I want colors there you go? Okay, both dark
then they both said they wanted They didn't want to
say it, but that's what they said.

Speaker 9 (34:47):
They both wanted Lee Ray raceid dark by whoa Woa.
That was super super super interesting one, Brady Quinn.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Some people do like the dark meat of the turkey.
They do, so you joint right on in with it.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Okay, interesting, Joe, I prefer the I think both of
you are very interesting.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
You've never seen Jonas gobble down?

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Won't dark meat? I mean not yet?

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Well, get to break, let's get.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
I've never seen gobble it down.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Jon Jonas. Let's lie. I'm gonna tell you what you do.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
I'm gonna let well well done, Well well done, guys.

Speaker 7 (35:44):
In case you missed this, New Orleans police have already
reached out to Eagles fans, warning them not to climb
the city's old light poles during the Super Bowl in
case they win. Regarding these street light poles, it's not
only illegal, but it is unsafe, as many of the
street light poles in the French Quarter are quite Climbing
on them risks toppling the light pole. Yeah, something has
happened recently. Eighteen year old Eagles fan fell off a

(36:07):
light pole and is on life support after a brain injury.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
I thought it was past that point.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
What I just know something someone's got a brain injury.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Yeah, you didn't see the kid fall off of the
light pole.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Some eighteen year old try to climb the pole and
fell off, was climbing up hole.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
I mean he went terrible. Yeah, and it's Darwinism, but
it's terrible. I mean it's kind of and.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
You are all right.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
It is after he is officially passed away.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
He is officially gone. Huh he is.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Yeah, that's awful.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
You raised your kid and his demise was that's awful.
Climbing a light pole and falling off of it after
a victory from your team, Yeah sucks. That's that's I
don't know, man, Just.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Do what the other Eagles fans do and punch police horses,
you know, lots safe.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
I mean, I don't think they should do that either.
Maybe not do any of those things. How about you
know what, how about be happy that the team that
you cheer for one and take your ass to your car.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Yeah, go get a couple, throw burn.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Or go to the bus or the train and take
your ass home. How about that you could do that?
You know that that that just seems too simple, though,
you know, Let's go climb all the way up to
the top of a lamp a lamp pole, all the
way up. I mean he hit about three signs going

(37:32):
down like he hit he literally hit two or three
streets on his way down to the ground. It just
didn't make sense to me, Like, doesn't make sense. I
don't really, you know, God bless I Guess what else
you got, Lee?

Speaker 7 (37:48):
I have a good one, but I'll save that for
Lee's leftovers. How about Chuck Pagano emerging from retirement to
join the Ravens as a all.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Right coachy nice nice little addition for Baltimore. Yeah, maybe
that'll get him over the hump. Here we go? Yeah,
what hump is that?

Speaker 3 (38:05):
