win over the course of the week in New Orleans.
You know who's not getting a big win. Aaron Rodgers
because apparently the Jets are playing two different games here.
They don't want you to talk to the media, but
they want to do all the talking. We'll get into
that as well too. The Dallas Cowboys are way way
(00:44):
way down on the list of potential NFC champions. We've
got the teams involved, and we've got the usual fun
stuff in Shenanigans.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
It's all yours.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Coming up next here, Two Pros and a Cup of

The studio's falling apart. It appears we've got chairs that
are breaking left and right.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
I mean, is it falling apart or torn up?
Speaker 5 (01:46):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I don't know what we came back to after New Orleans,
but it feels like a lot of damage done here
in the studio.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
I don't know about ever. I just I can't imagine
what some of these people's homes look like. Man, that's
all i'm gonna say. It's all I'm gonna say. Okay,
so AQ, That's all I'm gonna say. Bro Okay, Yeah.
I mean I know how I treat the studio When
I come in here. You know, I have something, I
(02:16):
use it. If it's rubbish, you throw it away. If
it's a piece of furniture. You treat it with care
because you know, well, other people are using it and
you didn't buy it, so you know, don't just do
any old thing to it, you know. And listen, I
get it, the wear and tear of multiple bodies touching,
(02:39):
you know, the stuff and everything that's going on. But
you know, it just seems as though that song that
Jonas has us coming into it just seems as though
something or someone comes through this studio and that's that's
the theme song going on in their head while they're
in this room.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, shock by Fear of Factory. Yeah, there you are,
you know, not familiar. It's a big one.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah, I don't know, you know, well not to mention,
you know, like things are sitting everywhere and you know,
no real uh, I don't know. I don't know order
nor you know what. There you go. I'm I'm gonna
leave it at that. I'm stopped there. Yeah, it does
(03:25):
look like the sun truck and hair a little bit.
I'm gonna stop there. You bring that up. Hey, how
you doing, buddy? Yes, that's what.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Doing good, doing good to try to fend off every
possible illness that's going around right now. Yeah, it will
it hit finally, both my sons, which obviously the infant
is a bit of a concern. So yesterday was a
more stressful day than it needed to be. But all
is well on the home front, at least in that regard.
We'll see how how everyone wakes.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Up this morning.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
But yeah, actually, big big shout out to my youngest daughter, Cassidy.
It's her fifth birthday. Happy birthday, sassity. That's our sassity.
All right, Now, what are the big plans are you?
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Guys?
Speaker 5 (04:11):
I'm glad you asked Jonas. You know where she's gonna
have her birthday party?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Where's that at?
Speaker 5 (04:15):
We had a drum roll?
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Please? Is there?
Speaker 5 (04:16):
Drum rolls? Just too early for Rey Ray and find
a drum bears man coop anyone, anyone that's in the
studio before we get a drum roll? Go chees.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
They still have those, they do.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
In fact, they've they've revamped them. They don't look like
they like. They don't have that like ballpit where eight
kids would puke and someone like Jonas would turn and
be like iin cleaning that up. Yeah, damn, it's it's
different now, it's clean, it's nice. I think they still
serve beer and the pizza's not bad.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Still serve beers.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Pizza was always a thing at Chuck E Cheese.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
I will say that, by the way, underrated wings really yeah,
never had wings. Yeah UNDERTD wings salad as decent. They
got beer and wine and yeah, they got rid of
a lot of them, got rid of, like most of
the animated characters and all that. I think they've tried
to sort of veer into the more Dave and Busters
(05:17):
type feel towards.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
You know, just games and fun.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
The ball pits are gone, though, and I wonder if
COVID had anything to do with that, because those things
are filthy.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
It just were, they were filthy, and it was just
time to move on from those things, you know, just
maybe a thought, Yeah, maybe a thought. Cassidy enjoy Chuck
E Cheese. You know they changed the rat too, right.
The rat isn't the same rat anymore.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
Yeah, I mean it doesn't look like Jonas like.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
A mouse now, yeah, because it was a rat.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
It's very malnourished.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
He looks, which doesn't make sense because their food and yeah,
it might be it. Yeah, the knock Knock, not mine,
you're the Jones knocks diet. Yeah, it could be I
barely eat any food.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
H well, surely surely not eating the diet that we
saw New Orleans. I mean that is just that's that's
quite quite some diet down there.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, it definitely is.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
And uh, there's plenty more where that came from. You see,
it's Kellen Moore.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
What a stunner, What an absolute stunner.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
It's Kellen Moore is the brand new head coach of
the New Orleans Saints.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
He will take over and try and figure out in
what appears to be a division that seemingly is up
for grabs every single year. I don't know what the expectation.
At one point, when New Orleans started two and o
last year and they wiped out Dallas and you know,
Derek Carr is doing the Michael Jackson crotch grab in
(06:58):
the end zone after it touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Like man, the Saints are finally playing true to form.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
And then next thing you know, a couple months later,
Dennis Allen gets fired. Darren Rizzy's assaulting his punter and
we're just trying to figure out how we can get
to the end of the year. Now the Saints have
their guy, Kellen Moore takes over and he's been kind
of the The expectation is he was a head coach
in waiting or a guy that was projected to be
a head coach. Some thought it would be in Dallas,
(07:24):
but he ends up getting the Saints shout there. So congratulations,
Kellen n nice few.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
Days for you.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Worst kept secret in the NFL over the last several weeks.
So there's that. How do we feel about the Saints
upon the hiring of Kellen Moore now, because I'm not
sure that's going to make much of a difference, to
be honest with you.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
Well, it's interesting because typically you go with an offensive
mine like this, when you've got a quarterback or a
young quarterback, you're trying to pair them together. So I'm
curious to what exactly this means for Derek Carr. You
know what exactly this means for how they feel about him,
because you would think that they're saying, we feel like
we can get more out of Derek Carr has been
(08:05):
there two years now, he's like fourteen and thirteen. I
think as a starter, he's throwing forty touchdowns the thirteen interceptions,
and has passed for a little over two hundred and
twenty yards per game, and so there's a thought that,
you know, is is that what this is about, or
is it just they feel like this is the best
person to lead this locker room or this this next
like great young offensive mine to be able to whether
(08:28):
it's Derek Carr or someone else. Because the thing about
Derek Carr is they have to make a decision by
March fifteenth of this year. That date's significant because he's
got his base salary that will be fully guaranteed of
thirty million dollars for this upcoming season if he's still
(08:49):
on the roster at that point. So I think we
all know what's going to happen once they hit that date.
If he's still on the roster, he's the starter for
this year. If he's not, it's obviously not the case.
But I'm more curious as to the decision from ownership
to hire Kellen Moore. Was that factored in the opinion
(09:10):
that Kellen Moore has of Derek Carr, or did Derek
Carr or excuse me, Kellen Moore take the job because
Derek Carr because he feels like he's got a guy
who can maybe get him through the next year or
two as again, he's got two years left on his deal.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
You know, this team isn't that far removed from being
a pretty good team. So I think you got to
take into consideration obviously what you have at the quarterback position,
what you will do with car that's one hundred a
part of it. And I think you got to take
a good look at what the rest of your personnel
(09:45):
looks like. And I'm sure he's already started to do so,
and he'll probably continue to look at it more. But
it's it's almost, you know, it's almost like a you
gotta look at it as if you're moving into a
new place to live. What what what should stay? What
(10:07):
should go? And I think that's going to be the
biggest challenge for him coming into it. And I think
the reason why would be the biggest challenges is because
this has been largely a part of roster that has
been pretty competitive. You know, I think two out of
the last what four years or so, they had finished
(10:27):
third or fourth, but in other times they finished second,
and and you know, I guess not too bad, not
too far out. They haven't won it, but they're not
that far away from being more I guess competitive in
the NFC South. So you know, it's interesting because I
(10:47):
look at Tampa Bay obviously, I think that that is
the team to beat right now in the South. Atlanta
could be better, but you know, we'll see what Pennix
does and what Raheem Morris does, and and and this
next season. It's a it's a division where you can actually,
(11:08):
to me, I think you should take the time to
figure out what is the personality of your team. Who
are the personnel on your on your team that pushes
this team forward with you as a coach, and what
needs to go. I think if they if he does
a good job of that in year one, If he
(11:29):
does a good job of that in year one and
doesn't lose his job, like doesn't you know, if ownership
gives him an opportunity to get in there, see what
needs to be done, get through year one, and then
continue to build from there. Kellam Moore seems to be
a really, really fine play caller, give him some time.
I don't know who his staff is going to be
(11:49):
on defense, but defensively, they've always been a pretty Yeah,
they've been pretty solid on defense. They're not too far
off on defense. I think some of the things that
they need to correct on offense. If he has a
little bit of time, and I think it'll be all right,
But we'll see. I mean, it's not the worst division
(12:10):
to go into and have to do a rebuild, but
will he have the opportunity to do so?
Speaker 1 (12:16):
You know, sometimes Aaron Rodgers gets the blame or like
the Steelers and Mike Tomlin will get the accusation that, well,
you're just living off that one super Bowl and that
was a long time ago. I kind of feel like
the Saints are the same thing, Like what have they
really done since that Super Bowl? Like they've had you know,
(12:37):
like a couple of chunk years like in you know,
twenty seventeen to twenty twenty where they were you know,
really competitive. Obviously the NFC Title Game loss to the
Rams everybody still goes back to because of the awful call.
But there's been a lot of five hundred or right
below five hundred mediocre years mixed in And I don't
know why I fall victim to the thought that, oh,
(12:59):
it's all the same competitive Saints that are going.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
To be you know in the mix.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
And they've had a lot of talent there. They've had
really talented players but it's really been kind of stuck
in the mud for the past several years, especially with
Drew Brees walking away when he did. They lost that
playoff game, and they've been nowhere close to what anybody
thought they were going to be and the expectations for them.
They were the favorite to win that division either this
(13:24):
past year or the year before, and I had them
winning it this year like they just it feels like
it's they're they're kind of a tease and and it
goes back to that one year they won a Super Bowl.
But other than that, there's not a whole lot for it.
So I don't know, that's my thought. And by the way,
I don't know the last time I've been to an
airport where you can't find one single item of the
(13:47):
local team walking around the airport, not a single Saints
item up for sale.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
This sold out, Jonas.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
That's why is that right?
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Was sold out?
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Now?
Speaker 5 (13:55):
I mean, I don't blame him after a year like this.
I'd want mercer that die harder fans. Manah, I don't
think you need to hold it against them, Yeah, I don't.
I wasn't even looking no, no, no, wasn't even looking wasn't.
Wasn't even in my thought process. Hammer, Is there a
reason why you wanted to do that, Jonas? Are you
trying to get your son something and then potentially put
(14:16):
him in you know, the the conflict of having to,
you know, have him be confused. I think, oh, it's
his dad's team.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
He oh god, yeah, no, yeah, no, definitely not. The
reality is Bree who was helping us out on Friday.
She's a diehard Saints fan. So you were for something, yeah,
and she was. She was helping. I was like, oh,
maybe if I see something. I told her, yeah, if
I see something, I'll grab you. And then I looked
around the airport and I realized, oh, there's nothing here,
(14:44):
nothing at all, Like they don't have anything of Saints
merch anywhere.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
So but if you were really thinking about her in
that way, you would have gotten one before you got
to the airport. You were trying to be a nice
person out of convenience versus just being a nice person
about getting her. Okay, that's great.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
That's what airports are, honest, that's what airport gifts are.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
You know what. That's very true. You're on your way out, like, guy,
let me grab something. Could be you're that's true. Yeah, yeah, dang.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
Let me give you guys a little foreshadowing of things
that come, because I think we look at this, this
window of time now for the Philly, for Philadelphia and
the Eagles, and we go, yeah, they're you know, they've
got this run. Now, we've got this nucleus, this roster.
You know, Yes, there are guys like Zach Bond, Josh
Sweat who they're gonna have to figure out who had
great seasons if they even can can sign them back,
(15:34):
if not, to have to fill that void. But one
of the things that Jalen Hurt says in his contract
and multiple other players, and one of the reasons why
Howie Rosmen has been able to construct the rust the
way he did was avoidable years in the back end
of the deal. So the cab space for the Eagles,
it's fine for twenty twenty five, twenty twenty six, but
(15:56):
in twenty twenty seven, twenty twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty
like that's what And then right now the Saints are
number two, is for least amount of salary cap space,
and then they have the least amount or the highest cap.
Everyone to look at it in twenty twenty eight nine
twenty thirty. Excuse me, So think about that for a second.
And the reason why I bring that up is because
(16:18):
as we look at the Saints, we kind of talked
about them being purgatory, like this is a team that
you're not really sure you know what to expect from them.
You know, LaVar you mentioned they have some good defensive pieces.
I think offensively they say, have some offensive pieces, but
they're nowhere in contention like they were probably would say
a few years ago. Drew Brees and Sean Payton. I
think it's fair to say absolutely. The problem is the
(16:40):
Saints did the exact same thing, exact same thing that
the Eagles and Howie Roseman have been doing when they
were in that window with Breeze and Peyton trying to
win a Super Bowl. So, for example, Marshaun Lattimore for
this upcoming season, he's got a dead cap pivot of
all almost thirty two million, and he thatt you guys
(17:02):
in there that and Michael Thomas he's got a dead
cap hit of over nine million. Jameis Winston he's got
a dead cap hit of over seven million. Here, not
even there, I mean, Drew Brees was carrying dead cap
hits in previous years for like three years running. I'm
trying to go back and look through to see you
when the last time Breeze was on the cap table.
(17:24):
But there's been a number of players who hadn't been
there and they've been on a dead cap and that's
unfortunately what happens is as eventually you got to pay
that bill. You know, eventually the bell tolls and you've
got to go, you know, pay whatever that number is.
So if you're you're you're an Eagles fan, the super
Bowl is great, Congratulations. You've got a window now in
(17:46):
the next two years where you can keep this whole
thing together. And if you hitting the draft or you're
hitting some free agents, guys who can step up and
step in and play well.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Like you can repeat.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
But after that, it's gonna take a magician, and you've
got that magician, Howie Roseman, to be able to potentially
get you out of some of that cap. Hell you'll
be in.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Uh, it's two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with Eve's coming up next. Here we are coined and
by the way. Later on Petres papadakus, that's a hell
of a dog. By the way, LeVar is watching the
Westminster Dog Show on FS one and it is.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
And the borble just came on. That might be a massiff.
They had a borderful boy yesterday.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
I was watching that massive is called beast.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Look at him, good looking dude, big boy too.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
I would have worn his ass out, but he's dead,
so it doesn't matter, all right, So another next later
on this hour, we're having another edition of In case
you missed it.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
We've also got our midweek awards.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
We're going to hand out the old p Petris Papadaka
stops by an hour three and we'll close up shop
with another edition of Lee's Leftovers. All that is yours
here on this three hour extravaganza. Up next here though,
we now have have some more information as to why
one team is moving on from a star player.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
We'll get into that for you here ont FSR.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
Who this is a story about a dog. The tale
will be dizzy. He's a rhythmic dog. Uh huh, he's
a harmonic dog. Yeah, dogs of the world. H See,
(19:44):
this is where you throw your hooks up. You know
that when you'll be throwing, you'll hooks up. There's that
Q dog song right here. Y'all know nothing about them
Q dolls? Who shots out all the Q dogs out there?
Speaker 5 (19:56):
Were you a cute dog?
Speaker 4 (19:57):
He's a Q dog? Now, doll Brady is a.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
Cute dog called Q or dog? Can you shout out
you dogs? If you're not a cute dog, you.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Can shout them out. You just can't make fun of it. Like,
if you make fun of it, it's no good. You know.
That's how it works. I mean, like if you're like
at a party and they're party walking and stuff like that,
don't break their line. Stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Is a spice Adams is a que dog?
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Yeah, Spice is a queue.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
So like, what are the requirements to be a Q dog?
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Oh? It's a lot, man. You gotta learn the history.
You gotta have great grades. You know, you got to
do community service.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Like is there anything that would disqualify you right off
the bat, there is a white Q Dog.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
There are a couple, but historically it is a black fraternity,
if that's what you were going for, which I am
always accused of being the race daker on the show,
which is crazy because all I do is respond when
when this has brought, like when these But I have
no problem saying what it is that you're trying to
get to. So there you go. I just was curious.
(21:03):
I didn't know it is a historically black Greek fraternity society.
What percentage of Q Dogs are white? I don't know,
but it's very small. I can't say confidently. It's very
very small, very small, like super small, like probably like
(21:27):
like Hall of Fame percentage, like guys that have played
the game and that are in the Hall of Fame
probably like that percentage. Take that for data, like I'm
looking it up on Wikipedia, like less than a percent.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
It says it was found in Howard University. There you go,
and the emphasis is African American.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
There you go. Where's that black people? Man? You know?
Speaker 5 (21:51):
The motto is friendship is essential.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
To the soul. There you go.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
And then the pillars are manhood, yeah, scholarship, yeah, perseverance.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Wow, an uplift. There you go. There you go, some
nice pillars. Yeah. Does it have the percentage of Caucasian
males that would be a part of that black you know.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
I think they left that out of the Wikipedia reason.
I'm not sure why.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
It's probably is a there's not very many.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
It's a laundry list of US scandals and memor mis conduct.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Yep. Oh, like hazing, stuff like that. They hazed really
hard at one point, Yeah, like really hard. Uh, this
is a little more than that. This refers to money.
I'm like monitors things of that nature to time. Well,
that's all right, that turned dark really bad, and I
(22:48):
ain't talking about that complexion either. Tang all right, yeah, we.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Could be up all right. Well, coming up here in
about fifteen minutes. Moving on, we are going to tell you.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
About another feud, another few that nobody expected in the
world of sports. That will be yours here on FSR.
We also have some more details as to what may
have led to the expected split between Aaron Rodgers and
the Jets.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Take it Away.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Diana Rassini, who was on Scoop City via The Athletic.
She was talking with Chase Daniel, former NFL quarterback of
FS one, and they were discussing maybe what led to
the parting of the ways that we all expect for
Rogers and the Jets.
Speaker 7 (23:31):
When they had conversations with Aaron Rodgers about what the
future would look like. If you're going to be part
of this team, you're going to attend all the trading camp,
You're not going to do Pat McAfee interviews anymore.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
Wait, they said that.
Speaker 7 (23:43):
Yeah, if you were to stay here, here's how we
would want.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
It to be.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
So this to me is Aaron glad getting control back.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
So do you think that if he would have agreed
to not do that stuff, that he would have been
their quarterback.
Speaker 7 (23:56):
I think that no matter what the Jets were going
to say, Aaron Rogers wanted to move on.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
So that was Dan Kerssini with the latest as to
why everything sort of transpired the way it did. So
is that the Jets basically saying, we know you're not
going to agree to these demands, so we're gonna throw
it out there and expect you to just go ahead
and move on to I.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Mean, you know, it's possible to me that maybe I
think you got to look at it from the standpoint
of do you want to be here and do you
want to win? I think there comes a point in
time where you got to say, I know who you
(24:38):
are as a player, I know what your capabilities are
as a player, But at this point in your career,
is the team and winning more important than everything else
you got going on? And if it is, prove it,
and let us know now before we get into don't
(25:00):
try to prove it to me on the field. Let's
start by you proving it off the field. What is
your commitment level? And I feel as though this is
probably Aaron. This is most likely Aaron Glenn leading the
charge on it based off of the information that he
has ascertained since getting there and is looking at it
(25:24):
from the scope of what you just said, Jonas, are
you going to agree to this? It's most likely if
you are the person that people are maybe some people
are making you out to be, you won't agree to
being the best teammate that you can possibly be. You won't.
(25:44):
But if you are willing to make these concessions so
that we can build team chemistry, so we can stop
some of those said leaks that Aaron Rodgers was speaking of,
It's funny when you sit there and you're like saying,
people leaking things, people leaking things. Well, you're in the
media and you're talking about what you're talking about too,
(26:04):
so you're in essence talking about inside information as well.
You're an exclusive interview on the McAfee show. Can we
bring this all in house? Can we build our team culture?
Can we build the team chemistry? We got a ton
of talented players. Are you willing to be all in?
(26:25):
I think that that's what they put in front of them.
And would it be safe to assume that Aaron Rodgers
is not going to be all in if it doesn't
fit the all in of what he wants to be
and what he wants to do. I think that's what
it would be. I like that.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
There's two huge issues with basically this becoming public. The
first is that you can't mandate a player to be
at voluntary workouts, So unfortunately for the Jets, not that
they're probably going to do investigation, but if you're the NFLPA,
you should on the half of Rodgers, because if this
is happening with Aaron Rodgers, maybe it's happening with other
(27:04):
players and there should be a choice because they are voluntary. Technically, truly.
This is something that players have fought for forever to
be able to have the freedom to to go to
workouts or not if they want. Now, if the team,
if they want you to show up, it's really simple.
You take a portion of whatever that player said to
make that season. Make it a workout bonus. He's got
(27:27):
to be there X amount of percentage of times I
would LeVar, imagine you had a workout that day.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Is that there you go.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
That's typically what they do with guys. They show up
and that they want to and you.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
Don't have to.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Don't have to.
Speaker 5 (27:39):
But like like green Bay, Green Bay Packers are notorious
for this because there's not a lot of players who
in the offseason right in March that want to go
back up to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and so they would
they would slate in their contracts a workout bonus, so
they'd be there from Monday through Thursday. Players would fly home.
You'd see him at the airport. They're probably connecting from Chicago.
(28:00):
Maybe take it a PJ. I don't know, but that's
typically how it worked. And they would get like a
three day weekend off during that portion of OTAs. So
the off season training activities. So that's one issue is
it's kind of dumb to let that become public and
ask something of Aaron Rodgers like that when you full
well know it's against the CBA. So that's the first
(28:22):
issue with it. The second issue with it is you
can't dictate to a player to not be a part
of the media, Like you can't say to him like, oh,
you can't do this, or you can't go out and
tweet if you want, or post on X or do
a podcast or something like that's also protected within the CBA.
So already in their early on tenure for the New
(28:43):
York Jets, they're stumbling over things that are within the
collective Bargain Agreement. And I understand what Aaron Glenn and
what they're trying to do, but the reality is is
you also have to play by the rules with it,
and you can't be that outward with how you're going
about especially a player like Aaron Rodgers who's a first
ballot Hall of Fame and you know, anything you say
(29:06):
around him to him talk to other people about sources.
I mean Diynaversiti comes up with a source, it's like,
and anything that comes out, it's gonna be talked about
he's a polarizing figure, so it's gonna make ways. So
to me already them kind of stumbling out the gates
here and if you're not gonna have Aaron Rodgers, like,
this is the last thing I just say on this matter,
(29:28):
Who the hell is your quarterback? I know we talked
to Prisco about that yesterday a little bit, but in
all seriousness, like is it Tarad Taylor? Do they go
find someone that they're gonna pay and in free agency?
And if so, like why won't you just keep Rogers?
Then why won't you keep him for a year or so?
Speaker 1 (29:44):
It goes one of the things that I thought about
when we were discussing Derek Carr situation. The Jets were
another team he discussed potentially signing with. Oh oh, and yeah,
the Davante Adams aspect of it. So maybe Derek Carr
of New Orlean moves on from him and they make
that decision in March. Maybe that's an option. And the
part about the Jets are basically telling Aaron Rodgers, according
(30:07):
to this report from Diana Rossini, you know you're way
too distracted. We need you focused on just football. As
this gets leaked to the media again from the Jets,
who Aaron Rodgers has said from the get go have
too many leaks already. It's like they're accusing him and
saying he needs to play ball and just focus on football,
(30:30):
except they're the ones in February that are already leaking
all this stuff.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
To that and then further fractures the relationship. Like just
be clear on that, right, Like, whoever the leak is,
that's the leak. I mean, that's always been New York teams.
Why not just both the Giants and the Jets. That's
always that has always been. If you looked at how
Jay Glazer built his reputation in the league, it's all
started being in New York and being an insider with
(30:56):
information from New York.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
I will say straight ahead, well there were more, there
were more.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Him and Stray are best friends for a reason. I
mean that ain't that ain't no no military secret.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
What I was hurt by was when you got those
older savvy vets who like they would out everything like
I'm not going to say what seam or was, but
like most like most people would never think of the
players that would do this, but they would not only
ratch you out to the media or go out and
go to the media with stuff. They'd go to the
(31:32):
coaches and they'd sit in players only meetings and go
to the coaches and then the next thing is you
you like you turn around the heck, what the heck
just happened like that, and all of a sudden the
coach knows and the media knows, like two hours later,
well again plans. And that's the thing is, you can't
sleep on that. And speaking of sleep, it's essential and
(31:52):
I know it's essential for your guy's busy life as well,
and so we should all trust Mattress Firm to find
the perfect bed from a selection of quality mattresses at
every price. You get matched at Mattress from his present
day sale and sleep at night restrictions supply. See Mattress

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Well done, sir, well done. Five O five oh. Player
people will be up in the locker room and if
you identified him or them, you be talking come walking
in crickets, crickets, and then they get to if you're winning,
(32:32):
it's just like kind of like yeah, uh yeah, I'll
see you over there, my gee, okay, all right, yeah, yeah,
I catch you all right, cool? All right if you lose.
And it's like they're going, punk ass right there there
you go. That's soll hey, punk ass, go get me
a gator rade. They look around like who me, Like,
(32:55):
yeah you five oh? I remember Coach Shot. I know
we got to go to a break, but I remember
Coach Shot. Bruce stand up. He says this the Bruce
Smith Bruce, Bruce, Bruce stand up. Bruce stands up. He's like,
(33:18):
what where are you doing? That's it? What's this about
five O? What's this about you saying that I have
five oh there's five O in the locker room. Because
I think it was. I mean, I call out days
because it's so old now though, but I think it
was Zot. You'all remember Zatt, the offensive lineman, Frank Zion.
(33:42):
He had him. He's a pennstater or two. He had
him in. He had him in.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
K C.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
Zott. He was an old lineman. Uh. But he was like,
what's this about? All of this? Uh about five oh? Bruce?
Can you do you want to talk about it? Dave
Stave z Ott, I mean, Bro, and five O thing
is like a real thing. It's a real thing. Coach
(34:07):
like players that come in and be like, all right, look,
you're losing the locker room, bro, Like you got to
do something like do a pizza party, give them some
ice cream, cones or some some something. You gotta do
something because you're losing them. You know five oh would
they were They were considered to be useful for multiple things,
you know, for the coach's purposes. So there you go.
(34:29):
That's a real thing. You got to be aware of
who they are because you could be talking and telling
your whole business to somebody who's about to take your
whole business and then you see Diane Ever seeing me
talking about it or somebody else talking about it. There
you go. Damn.

Good morning, everybody, Good morning Jones, Good morning, Brady, Good morning,
the Bard morning guys.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
In case you missed this vid.
Speaker 8 (36:16):
Hey Brady, guys, In case you missed this video went
viral yesterday on the old social media of Patrick Mahomes
Senior having a little altercation on Bourbon Street former Braves
closer John Rocker. Oh, rock separated. It was a whole
hooton Nanny but hot Nanny think about it. It was
pretty much a promotional video for Rough and Rowdy. Uh
(36:38):
there's gonna be a fight between them, hosted by barstool.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
So basically it turns out the whole thing is staged.
You could I just gonna say it. Did you guys
watch it?
Speaker 4 (36:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:47):
You could tell it was stage the way he threw
his drink at him at the end where he.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Kind of threw it on the ground.
Speaker 5 (36:52):
Oh that was the moment. Yeah, Yeah, that was what
was weird was it looked like Rocker, I mean, at
least why it looked like I was believable Rocker walked
over to him and then immediately looked like Patrick Mahomes
Senior had an issue with something that maybe Rocker said,
which is understandable. I mean, John Rocker says a lot
of things. So there was like this a media like
get away from me. I heard what you said or
(37:14):
you said this, don't talk to me and That's where
I was like, oh, this might be legitimate. I thought
Rocker actually played it off well athough mahomes back was
to the camera, so you really couldn't see like his
facial expressions till the end. But then they both seemed
like they were ticked off.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
So I mean, would you tell somebody like, you know,
there's no reason why the kids should be from who
they're from that you don't want to fight them, you
know what I mean? Yeah, they came from John Rocker?
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (37:39):
By the way, John Rockers still jacked, looks.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Huge, You probably should have chose to have your kids
with somebody else, is probably what John Rocker said to
get him upset.
Speaker 8 (37:52):
Yeah, so you got Rocker in the fighting.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
I mean, I don't know, give give him some of
his uh give my home some of him his like
his his strength, juice. He might he might get he
might get it done. You know.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
Oh no, yeah, buddy, do you think that's why Mahome
Senior was so pissed because Rockra had a drink and
he didn't.
Speaker 4 (38:16):
That's give me some of that son of son of
a bitch.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
He's got a moscow mule? What else?
Speaker 8 (38:25):
No, I don't think you missed it because we were
talking about it earlier. But in case he did miss it,
miss it. One hundred and forty ninth Westminster Kennel Dog
Show winner is Monty the Giant Schnauzer. He's been representing
the working class groups in the last five years.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Congrats Monty, shouts out the Monty. Look at this giants.
Snauzers are not a game bro, Dude.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
He was a pretty dog too. I was watching that
last night and I was like, well, I don't know
like a Schnauzers are for me, but he looks like
the perfect Schnauzer if you're looking for one.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
If you ever saw the muscle mass of a Snauser Schnauzer,
they they are some impressive dogs. Man. They will give
you that work. Them giant ones, they will give you
all the work you you think he was going to get.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
What's so great about this dog? He's got white mustache.
Big deals got better dogs than them.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Well, my dog is pretty dope.
