(00:21):
Cleveland Browns. We've got leaks in the National Football League.
We've got reports coming out of Pittsburgh about what it
was really like behind the scenes with George Pickens. Plus
the Goat is back, and we've got Lee's leftovers.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
It's all yours.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Coming up next here, Two Pros and a cup of
Joe on a Tuesday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
It's two Pros and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Noch with you here. You
can find us on the iHeartRadio app, and you can
always find us on hundreds of affiliates all across the
country and wherever you are making us a part of
your Tuesday. We appreciate it as we take you all
the way up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific,
and we've got all sorts of fun stuff to get to,
including a weird, potentially devastating night in the NBA playoffs
(01:33):
last night courtesy of the Association. So I don't know
how we want to get this started. Do we just
to attack the big story? Was it Minnesota getting it
done again? Or was it the Nick's getting it done
and the Jason Tatum injury that followed.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, I mean that seems to be the thing that
stood out. Yeah, what's one? All of them? Which one.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
I hate to start off on that note, but man
I was that's always tough to watch.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, that was brutal.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
And so now we wait to see what the MRI
look like. But it if he's calling his own time
out and he's riding around in pain like that, people
are like, oh, now he's got a sprained ankle, and
I'm like, uh, oh, we've seen it so many times
nowadays that you just knew, oh, that's the Achilles right,
And so now it's try and figure out if the
(02:29):
you know, if the MRI comes back and it does
confirm you know, ruptured achilles. I know, our buddy doctor
David Chow was, you know, looking at that saying yeah
that it appears like that's what we're going to get
here and a LeVar you went through that same injury
from a basketball player standpoint, I mean, this knocks him
out for obviously the playoffs and then I would think
(02:49):
majority of next year as well too.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
I don't know where the technology is these days, but
definitely not an easy injury to come back from. I mean,
it's just it's just not and I don't know. I
wish him the best, you know what, these things happen.
It's a part of sport, and you know he's got
to get through it. Got to get through it. But
I think the bigger I think the bigger conversation is is.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
What team is he coming back to? Right?
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Like it's going to most likely be a very different
team if that is indeed what what the injury is.
And he's out and not playing, so it'd be interesting
to see. But I don't know, man, I think I
caught my shot, Like I hate to do that right
fresh out of his his injury, but I think I
(03:40):
caught my shot that said after that sticks, I think
I said after that demoralizing loss that they had the
first time that the series was over.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Yeah, you know, LeVar has never been one to shy
away from dancing on someone's grid. Hey guys, h Jason Tatum,
just go and the killers and you cond effect his
entire career.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Hey guys, I got it right though.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
A Q.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
All I can say.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
All I can say in response to that is, uh,
you take it, take it, you take it all, I says,
what jon and.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Right though, Jonas, what is it? What is it? Damn?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
No?
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I thought you was on the same page as me.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Riverside, Riverside, I mean they didn't stop the game.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
You even went through the injury. Yeah. Yeah, it's bad.
It's it's a horrible feeling.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Did you play pine Box Derby when you were a
kid too? Were you try and bed who's going to
be the next one to die?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Was that? Never heard of it? Yeah? The little race
cart things, race carts?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Ye, pine box Derby? You do, like you try and
pick who's going to be the next one to die?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
No, never done that. Yeah, it was a game back
in the day. It's very dark. Uh, you know, celebrating. Yeah, yeah,
that didn't need to be brought up. I'm just not
I mean, I'm just wondering. You know, Box Derby.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
So that was like people going into the newspaper and
seeing who who passed away?
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I was like, well, what is it?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
I don't know the exact parameters to it, but I
know that it was basically an essence, Who's going to
end up in a pine box next? It was really
the the the origin of it.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
But and you can gamble on that, right, Like, aren't
there lines and odds on people dying?
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I don't believe my bet. I think that's called a
death pool? Is what there Isn't that? They do exist,
don't they? Lee?
Speaker 4 (05:41):
You keep chiming on this, Lee, I'm pretty sure you're
used to this sort of thing.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, Lee? Uh do you guys? And Lee? Are you
on any pools? Like? Is your name up there on
the list? Should be?
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Could definitely put into putting some money, probably get some
good value there.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
There are after New Orleans.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
I mean there are some books that I don't know
about books but overseas betting that you could probably put up.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Did they still play real Russian roulette? Is that really
still a thing?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Not sure? Yeah? Did any play like the other week.
Dang no, I have never played Russian rule.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
I just love how LeVar asked the question, like, so
it's gonna like honestly going to answer that.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, you know what. It was a party the other day.
We were around for about thirty minutes playing.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
I am I am never going to be the one
to underestimate your level of knowledge and things that you know.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
My buddy live.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
My buddy lives in Moscow. I reached out and I'll
let you know what he says. It's uh unfortunate what
happened to Jason Tatum last night. Jalen Brown, the other
star for the Celtics, who was just brutal last night,
especially could not hold onto the ball. It seems like
he gets stripped by Michel Bridges every time he's got it.
(06:57):
He spoke following the game about their.
Speaker 7 (06:59):
Performance tonight is tough. I think everybody's kind of a
loss for words, just because, like you know, one losing
the game, but obviously the concern with jt. But we
pick our heads back up tomorrow and go from there.
We got enough in this locker room, so I believe
(07:21):
in my guys. We just it was terrible defensively tonight
to be Frank, you know, just no resistance. We was
just too concerned. Offense was great, offense was finn We
made a lot of shots, but just no resistance on defense.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
So looks like the top two seeds in the Eastern
comments sounded like he needs a hug. Geez sucks man.
Losing is not fun, man, It's not fun. Oh especially, I.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Mean think about both teams for Cleveland and Boston, who
are by far and away the best two teams the East,
and they're just they're not healthy. They're gonna be limping
to even if they ever even could make it through
the rest of the series. And now if you're Boston,
you're losing your best player. If you're Cleveland, it sounds
like Donovan Mitchell be able to come back for Game five,
(08:09):
but it looks like it's gonna be a game time decision.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I mean for both states. Stinks. But but again, Golden.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
State, you know a little different story with getting Jimmy Buller,
if you know, around the trade deadline and making a
push for the playoffs. You know, these two teams were
like if you put Oklahoma City, Boston, Cleveland, those three
and then you include Okay, see from the West they
were by falling away the best teams in the NBA
this season.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Yeah, yeah, And I'm just talking about I get that.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
What I'm saying is to look so drastically different from
what they were on the regular season. Like I was
talking to a buddy last night at a soccer game.
He's a big Cleveland Cavs.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Fan, and he's just like, man, it's tough because.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
They don't like it's the excitement everything going into the
playoffs is so different compared to what it feels like
now because it's just not the same team. You know,
you almost not even recognize them the way they're playing
right now now. If the injuries too, that that plays
a role. So I wonder if the timber Wolves can
get it done this year. It seems like it's lining
up for them to possibly be able to do it
(09:15):
like this. This is a tough series for Denver and
and for okay See. It's a tough one and it's
it's it's clearly taking a lot out of Denver, more
so than Denver than okay See. I wouldn't say okay
See would come out of that that series tired and
banged up as much as as Denver. If Denver were
(09:37):
to find a way to get out of the oka
CE series and knock them off. I don't know that
Denver is going to have enough to get through that
next round. No, But if Okay se wins and that's
that's you know, that's a great Western conference. That's a
hell of a that's a hell of a matchup.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
About Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
If they can do it is a rod Alex Rodriguez, right,
he's the majority owner.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Yeah, Like, how cool is that for him? That's pretty cool,
I believe.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
I believe in the first year of his majority ownership too,
after the whole dispute with the former ownership.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah, what was the what was the story behind that?
That it looked like they had some sort of an
agreement and he backed out and.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Glenn Taylor, the former owner, to sell it all.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
But I don't, I don't, I don't know specifics, not
gonna speak to that.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
You know a lot of times with these deals, you know,
you got to have.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
A certain amount of cash by a certain amount of time,
and people can you know, claim different things, deadlines and
all that. So I'm not exactly sure, but it sounded like,
you know, Glenn Taylor started to see some of the
progress they're.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Making, They're like, oh, I mean, I don't want to
sell this.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
You know, maybe maybe I could try to push this
off and suing the deal a little bit.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
If you guys could have your wish NBA Finals, perfect world,
what would you get m I mean with the team's
remaining Yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Mean, are you counting Boston and Cleveland still with the shot?
Because obviously i'd pick the Calves.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I would.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Let let's consider those series done, all right? If if
we had to, you know, if we had to call it, it.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Would be the Knicks versus the Timberwolves. For me, I
want to see the Timberwolves get there. I want to
see Anthea Edwards take that next step for the Knicks.
I want to see it for the fan base. Brunston's great,
don't get me wrong, and and all that, but I
want to see it for the Knicks fan base. I
want to see New York step up and get excited
and fired up as possible. Like that's the matchup i'd
(11:45):
want to see. I don't care if it looks like
whatever y'all want to say. I don't want to see
those two fan bases square off.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Knicks Timberwolves for me as well too.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
Just I just don't see them getting out of the
Pacers series.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Well, just so the Knicks could lose, like I would
love I would love to see history repeat itself, just
for that fan base that is so obnoxious. I would
love to see them get to that point and be like,
We're finally going to do this and then not do
it and have it result in the same thing it's
been resulting in for decades now.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
For that organization, that would be wonderful.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
I think today the best matchup is okay see in
Indiana sticks picks them.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Damn.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Why does Savar get all the pageantry, all the bells
and whistles, talk.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
To veto Okay, tang? I like this button? Dang yeah.
I mean I have a live button and Lorraina is
connected to it. Got my finger on it, right, Loreino
will hit sticks picks again, picks down. That's a pick.
(12:54):
There you go. Uh now what I'm picking and what
I think.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
I think the best case scenario finals would be okay
see and in Indiana Halliburton versus you know, S S
G A. Like That's what I would assume matchup wise,
what would be the best matchup? But if if we're
(13:19):
going off of sentimental value or likes and who I
want to see pull it off. Of course I want
to see ant Man pull it off. And who that
would be up against, I don't know, but I will
say that, you know, Halliburton is playing playing well. But
but my guy in New York that that Q just mentioned,
(13:41):
I mean he is bawling. Brunson is getting it in,
like at a different level, and he's he's basically throwing
them on his shoulders and his back and has carried
this next team into an improbable situation that they're in
right now. It just didn't seem like that was feasible
that they would win a series.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Against the you know, the Boston Celtics.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I mean, it's a a wonderful story for that organization
as well. I mean, even Tracy Morgan's able to keep
his lunch about that, which is really something because you don't.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Want to miss it.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
You know, all those all those brand new Knicks fans
that have popped up out of sewer covers and said,
oh look at look at me and their celebrity they
just happened to show up at MSG again. It's just
wonderful for the fan base, just a just a great
fan base through and through, nobody better than the Knicks.
All right, so can we can we just get into
this though real quick? Here are we have a guest
(14:37):
here on the show. This is a little early for
this guest to show up on the show, but Robert
Stack is here. Robert Stack obviously you know his work
from Unsolved Mysteries.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
How about the.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Balls on the NBA to roll out that bag of
crap and try and make us all believe that the
Dallas Mavericks, with a one point eight percent chance to
win the draft lottery, get it done. This same year
(15:10):
that they traded away Luca to the Lakers for a
bag of rolled golds and a six pack of bud Light,
all of a sudden, the Mavericks end up with the
number one pick and they're gonna get Cooper flag Boy.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Of all the odds, of all.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
The chances that this would happen, it's a load of garbage.
And I think this is the one conspiracy that even
anybody who's not a conspiracy theorist could look at and go.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
All right, come on, dude, like let let let let's
be honest here. This was that.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
This was groove like what are you gonna do for us, Well, listen,
we've been known to do it in the past.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Don't worry, we'll figure it out. We'll get you guys.
The draft life, this whole thing was groove for Dallas
to win it, and it's disgusting, proved disgusting.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Be here.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Chance, and it's grew for them to win it. It's
a garbage'e like it. Don't worry, we'll take care of you, guys.
We got man. The chance of the chance is Jonas.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
You're one of those like one percent chance guys, you know, yeah,
and it never works out yeah for you.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
They's got to keep gambling, keep going. Man.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
They made that guarantee to Dallas, and neither one of
them teams is even in the playoffs there the Lakers
aren't there like you did all that, and they ain't
even pay dividends.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
He's kind of Crazy're gonna place one white out another
white out? Yeah, Tom Brady, dang, Yeah, I mean it
makes sense.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
It's like, okay, if we're on deck to get this
white guy, I mean we can't you know, we can't
break quota except one.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Why not an happy hour racist?
Speaker 5 (16:45):
There's only one position for for a big name, big
time player that's white on the team, right, that's the
standard quote. I mean they they kind of broke the
rules of tad bit at times throughout the history of
the game.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I mean, is there a maximum capacity for white? Yeah,
you just can't have too many.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Man.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Then they have Tom Chambers and Dan Marley on the
same team. I want that was a quota man, you know,
John John Stockton and Jeff Hornisack like that was like
you know that they were they were like you know,
and then people thought Melman was was on that team too,
like you know, like he was, you know, swinging on
(17:26):
that side. They hit their quota. You just can't hit
your quota, man. And now you got all these European
you know, guys that are filling the quota. So I
don't know how that works if they're American because flag
is American.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yeah, so I don't know how that one works. Well.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Congratulations through the Dallas Mavericks. Against all odds, it's safe
to be a Mavericks fan again. I wouldn't say that,
Nico Harrison, is that what's going to be?
Speaker 2 (17:56):
You've done it, dang unreal.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (18:08):
Come on, man, who's buying that? Does anyone buy that?
It wasn't rigged for Dallas to get the first pick?
Does anyone buy it? Do you think?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Buddy Q? Do you buy it?
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Not?
Speaker 2 (18:21):
There? No?
Speaker 3 (18:21):
No, no.
Speaker 1 (18:24):

But we are going to have the same other fun
stuff as well too here on this three hour extrapaganza.

letting their organization know. Find out who we're talking about next.

Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and Jonas
Knox weekdays at six a m. Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
What is this? No doubt?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Yeah, Gwen Stefani man no the voice when I heard it,
but that this is like Lorena's wheelhouse. Yeah, that beat
sounds ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
True or false?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Jail?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Have you noticed some girls now dressed like her? Like Lorena? No,
like from the nineties.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Yeah, it's like the look I wouldn't have noticed. Yeah,
same old.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Things I hate about you? That reminds you of that movie? Yeah?
Remember that movie? I don't remember that movie. Yeah, sounds horrible.
It wasn't very good. But it sounds like a disagree
It was a he led he fledger Andrew Keagan? Who
(20:05):
the I mean? I can't think of the girl's name. Oh,
she was in a Where's Lee? I am da Styles? Yeah,
thank you, Gosh, I don't know. I can think of
her name. I know that name.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
Gabriel Union's in it too.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Really. Yeah, she's one of the friends. Yeah, I'm sure
she is. Isn't the guy from the vizine commercials?
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah, I don't know. Everybody needs to dry eyes, clear
eyes whatever? Its him? The clear howes it go? Jonas
clear Eyes? Remember that commercial?
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Ben Stein? Ben Stein or something like that. Right, I
don't like that over this A big fan of what
the dry eyes Ben Stein. I I don't know what
that even means. He just put you out here off
Johonnah sometimes gets on a roll and he thinks he says,
(21:08):
I got a good one here. I know it wasn't
a good one simply, I don't know. Hey, I'm just
Jonas making jokes on radio. Coming up here. We don't
need to be insulting here on the show.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Coming up fifteen minutes from now, we are going to
we are going to hand out an award here on
the show. A bit surprising here, A bit surprising.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Who's going to get it today?
Speaker 1 (21:31):
But that'll be yours here on FSR, we asked yesterday
about the Trey Hendrickson situation, like, Hey, what's going on
with that?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Well, here was.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
A statement sent from Trey Hendrickson to Adam Schefter in
regards to his situation with the Cincinnati Bengals and his
search for a new deal. Quote, no communication has taking
place between my camp and the organization post draft. The
offers prior to the draft did not reflect the vision
we shared, and we're promised last offseason if I continue
(22:02):
to play at a high level. Coaches are aware of
these past conversations. Rather than using collaboration to get us
to a point to bring me home to the team,
they are no longer communicating. I've been eagerly awaiting a
resolution of the situation, but that's hard to do when
there's no discussion and an evident lack of interest in
reaching mutual go goals. That from Trey Hendrickson in regards
(22:25):
to the situation involving him in the Cincinnati Bengals. And
away we go with the Cincinnati Bengal football offseason off
and running here.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
Well, I mean they had some big signings, yeah, I
mean yeah, it's not like it's a way we go now.
The season's underway, like off seasons underway. I mean, I
don't know what they're going to do with Hendrickson, but
they do need to sign him' that's what I believe.
(22:58):
It makes sense to bring your best defensive player back
after spending the type of money you spent on your
quarterback and shoring up to your two receivers, you gotta
have defense. I'm sorry, you can have Joe Burrow throw
for five thousand plus yards. Oh wait, Joe Burrow did
(23:20):
throw for five thousand plus yards and they still didn't
win this year. This past year came on late, but
just wasn't you know, wasn't what it was right before
the injury to Joe Burrow.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
I just think that.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
If you're going to have any fair opportunity, especially I
continue to talk about the AFC North, I think the
AFC North and the NFC South will be the toughest
toughest divisions this season going into it. And if you're
going to be in the AFC North and have an
op opportunity to keep up with and compete with the Ravens,
(24:06):
you got to have defense. You got to be able
to stop an offense when you play a strong offense.
And that's to me, if you're not bringing back Hendrickson,
then you're not working to make sure that you know,
you get him back in the fold and have him,
you know, ready to go.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
I think that's a miss.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
I think that's a tremendous miss for them.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
I mean, look, we knew it was gonna be tough
to get everyone done this offseason the way we had hoped.
If you're a Bengals fan, just to see this team
maximize its ability like when the Bengals are part of
the playoff hunt in the playoffs, you said at the
end of last year, no one wanted to see them
if they were able to make it in so we
knew this was the potential that they were only going
(24:49):
to get two out of the three, maybe one out
of the three. But they got Jamar Chase, they get
t Higgins, and they drafted Shamar Stewart in the first
round to essentially probably kind of replace Trey Hendrickson. I'm
sure people don't want to hear that, but that's the
reality of how this works. Even as good as Trey
(25:11):
Hendrickson has been, you know, there's a price at which
they're just they're not going to go past. This is
not an organization that spends a ton of money.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
It's just not.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
So if you're looking for that La Rams, let's just
throw a bunch of cash at it. See if we
can keep these stars together for another run at it.
That's not this organization. Even as much as teams are
making right now and Bengals fans you can take issue
with me saying that, but just go ask the players
about the cafeteria food.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
All right, what are his options Hendrickson because at this point,
if he's going so hard in the paint on the organization,
this is multiple times that he's called them out like this.
I mean, he can't show up right like does he
does he just show up and be like, all right,
(25:59):
I guess I'm just gonna I'm just gonna wear this
and go in and play for the seventeen million dollars
in an offseason where Miles Garrett just got what thirty
five forty whatever? It was like he's making half of
what you know, the other best pass rusher and the
division is making, and he led the league in sacks.
I just wonder, like, what are his realistic options here
(26:21):
entering the final year and what is now all of
a sudden turned into him going really aggressively at the
organization multiple times in a two or three months span.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
You got a que.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
I mean, the options are, there will be options out
there for him. I just the problem is he's what close.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
To thirty, He's thirty the thirty.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
So at this point you're not gonna get a ton
of teams that want to guarantee or put guarantees of
the contract past two years. And the one team you
have the most equity build up with then the sinciety Bengals.
Clearly they're not respecting you, are honoring you enough to
even communicate at this point and also just to peel
(27:04):
back the curtains. This is a tactic by many teams
and many people. You negotiate, you know, silence speaks volumes,
and you can interpret it however you want. But in negotiations,
the team that you know, I should say, the side
that doesn't communicate oftentimes like they feel like they have
(27:27):
the leverage. And that's one of the things that NFL
teams always have on their side is the ability to
draft a player to replace you every single year. That's
so different than in any other industry. You can go
find a talented kid that can replace, you know, an older,
you know, veteran person. Within a certain industry, every single
year someone's graduated, someone's coming out of college trying to
(27:49):
take that person's job.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Same thing.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
So in this case, it's sad to see that like
after a couple of years of just unbelievable production from him,
that's how things potentially end.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
That's the NFL.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
It's a brutal business, and every team's going to try
to undervalue you. And you're gonna try to get as
much money as you can as a player. So at
this juncture you'd say, Okay, who would make the most sense.
You could probably throw New England into it. They're always
over the f edge. Rushers can make a lot of sense.
Do they have the capital spend?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
I don't know. I mean, is Robert Craft they've had,
they have the cap space to do it.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Are they willing to give him the contract he wants?
And Hendrickson would probably love playing for Vrabel, We know that,
but that's the first scene.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
That comes to mind.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Up top, Oh what because he's another white guy? Damn
Jesus is such a white show so far? Why are
we getting attacked? I don't get it, man, damn up top. Well,
they will fill the effects and the impact of not
having Hendrickson if he's not playing this season.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
By the way, when Brady mentioned for people behind the scenes,
I can't see what's happening here, and Brady mentioned that
Shamar Stewart was drafted in essence to replace Trey Hendrickson,
LaVar gave a fist pump like.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
I did not think you were happy about that. I
certainly did not. Just unfortunate it's weird.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
The only issue is that are too cheap to even
get his rookie. It's like crazy, we don't see it's
not crazy. This is the Bengals man.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Like if Bengals fans are honest with themselves, like they've
seen this time and time again, like they've seen them
cut some corners here and there, like this is what happens.
I'm telling you your rookie, Like, hey, man, you just
drafted him.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
You know what you're negotiating right now? Like, what's the
hold up?
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Get that man in rookie cap, that man sitting there
looking weird, like we have a contract?
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Didn't TJ have to go to Baltimore? Eventually?
Speaker 5 (29:49):
He went to a couple of different teams, a couple
of different I mean, all their guys go to a
couple of different teams. After right, name somebody who who
went and stayed? Is Willy did Willy do it?
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Anthony Munos Moon? Well, geez, did they have free agency
back then?
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Probably not? Yeah, when you.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Got to go all the way back to Anthony Muonos,
that's that's that's a tad bit damning. I'm trying to think, like,
is who who in recent years o Cho Cinco had
he left, DJ left, the.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Dalton left, Palmer left, Dylan left.
Speaker 5 (30:34):
Who's the core the running back they just had that
just just left not too long ago.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Oh Joe Mixing, Mixing left. I mean everybody leaves. So
do you guys know what year for it? She's starting
in the NFL, like, uh eighty. So here's what's crazy
about it. It started in nineteen ninety three. Ninety three.
Speaker 8 (30:55):
Really, that seems like it's so recent. It's like, wait,
hold on a second. These guys couldn't move round before nineteen.
So to the point, Anthony Muno's rookie year was nineteen eighty.
He finished in nineteen ninety two, so at the age
of thirty four, he stopped a year before on free agency.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
So, you know, the Bengals like dodge that bullet, but
I lost him a long time. It just Yeah, if
you're a Cincinnati Bengal, you're just not one for life apparently.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Or or you get it and you're like you're also
looking for a discount and everything too right, Like you're
a bargain shopper. You're looking for you know, a bogo,
you know type special bull upon. Maybe maybe you're like no, no, no,
I get it, like, this is how I live my
life too. We're just trying to get as cheap as
we can. There was a best of a deal as possible.
So but maybe there's people who you know, are out
there who feel that way. They're like, no, this is
(31:45):
gonna work. We haven't won a super Bowl yet, but
let's just keep trying this strategy. It's gonna work one
of these days.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Hey, Lee, would you say that the Bengals organization would
be the other patron at the bar in Arizona that
would buy the mystery beer because it was.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
A dollar cheaper in the brown bag? Would you would that?
Would they be a mystery beer type team? A deal
is a deal. Yeah, it's fair to say. Yeah, to
save a buck, it's gonna do. It's gonna do the
same job.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
We'll surprise you with the beer that we can't get
rid of to save a buck in a brown bag.
And you got the same one two days in a row,
didn't you. That was the most upsetting part because they're
trying to get rid of them. Did you even check
the borne.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
On date in Arizona? Yeah? No, I kept it in
the brown bag. That's a Bengals beer.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Baby.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
It's such a Lee move too, Like, let me get
the brown bag surprise beer. It's gonna make some like
low level off the shelf, probably skunk beer.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Well, here's the thing.
Speaker 6 (32:36):
I was in a new town. I was gonna get
a new beer no matter what. So yeah, yeah, if
I could save.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Then gets screwed, then gets screwed. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
I guess to think about how they came up with
the idea too. They're like, all right, guys, we've we
got a lot of beer go kind of get rid of.
So we're gonna do this like secret brown bag thing.
There's probably some putts who are going to figure out,
oh hey, look at this guy.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Uh hi, how you doing, I'm lead a lap. Could
I have a have a beer?
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
You know what, let me do that a brown bag special.
Let me get that brown bag special.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
I think the first time you have Man, the lady
didn't even know what he was talking about.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Nobody had ever ordered it before except for Lee. And
it was some crummy porter. Was it like a porter?
Speaker 5 (33:14):
I enjoyed it very much. And it was an amber
that was the same place where Q's friend was at
the bar.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Friend of this friend, you can't eat at the bar
a friend. Friend.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
All have a sight of fries, no friend, no food
at the bar friend.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
And combined our food and their food. Friend.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
I just can't believe y'all went back and didn't let
me know y'all were going back.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
That burger was great, though, that burger that might be
the best.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
I've ever had. In our defense, the guy never showed
his face again, our friend.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
I didn't know that. I wouldn't have known because I
was too busy. We were just sticking up for my dude,
and I just wasn't going back. We were praying that
he wasn't still there so we could justify getting the
smash burg That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Please don't be there, Please don't be there.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
I was getting that smash bro I put you all
on to the smash Burger. Then I don't get to
get the smash Burger anymore. Hey, that's what y'all do, though, sucks.
Man up top, you know, you know it doesn't suck.

In case you miss this, well known Kansas City Chief
super fan, the chiefs Aholic, has received yet another prison
sentence for his armed robbery in Oklahoma. He is now
being sentenced to thirty two years in state prison, uh
for over eleven bank robberies. This will run concurrent with
his already seventeen and a half years that he was
sentenced on the federal level. So once he's done with
(36:43):
his federal sentence, he will be transferred back to Oklahoma
to serve out the rest of that thirty two years.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
How old is he, Xavier bob A. Dharr Is, I'll
have to look that up. Okay, Well, I hope be
dead by the time this is over. Yeah, a federal prison. Well,
you couldn't get like halftime or whatever for for you know,
being good.
Speaker 6 (37:05):
Well, eleven cases of armed robbery probably did get some
kind of a deal, especially since he pled guilty. It
included robbery with the firearm, one count of assault with
the mask or disguise which adds another account, and one
kount of removing an electronic monitoring device. Remember, he did
go on the run for quite a while, so that
didn't help his case.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Take it.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
I mean, this might actually work out for him if
he plays his cards right. He might end up in
there with Pat Mahomes Senior.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
And he's he's like thirty years old. Yeah, he's thirty.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Man.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
He's a big dude, too big, weird dude, A weird dude, weirdo.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
You know this guy. I watched the show. Oh gotcha,
Yeah he was. You've been really into some different series.
Hun watchmentaries. I watched documentaries. Yeah, was he juicing?
Speaker 5 (37:53):
I know, he don't know. He's a big, big, yoked
up dude. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
All right. You've brother in federal prison, then state prison, right.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
I think it depends secured security level. I think that's
all that. I mean, Federal they say are like a camp.
Like you're like, that's like rich people jail.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Federal they're like playing like tennis. But if you're in
a max security me, could you pass the grip papon?
I mean they be living it up in there from
what I hear.
Speaker 6 (38:25):
You love that scene from Goodfellas when they're all just
hanging out.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
We aren't they just cooking and stuff like that.
Speaker 6 (38:31):
They all wanted to go to get away from the
wives for a few years.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
It's like, now I've tried guys.
Speaker 6 (38:43):
In case you missed this, Albert Breer, our friend from
the m m QB confirmed Monday that the Tar Heels
are hiring former Chiefs Bears PR chief Brandon Faber to
aid Belichick.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (38:53):
He doesn't quite have a job title yet, but is
expected to handle communications on behalf of the football program.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
Sounds familiar here, keep the constant thing going. Don't really
have a title yet, but you're involved. Bill Belichick is
bringing everybody.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I don't get that I'm tired of it. Albert Breer
is better than that. I'm tired of it. Dang, that's
a weird angle. Let coach be
