Two Pros and a Cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up on
this Football Friday. Of course, we're going to talk football.
Apparently the Dion to Dallas rumors are real. We will
break all of that down. We're also going to talk
about what this means for Mike McCarthy, their ex Apparently
it's a two horse race for one opening in the
(00:20):
National Football League, and maybe it's only a one based
on some other reports. So it's a coaching carousel on
this Football Friday. It's also a look ahead to the
Divisional round of the NFL playoffs. We've got our picks
against the spread, Aaron Rodgers taking shots, subtle digs at
the Jets organization. Maybe on his way out we will discuss. Plus,
(00:40):
we are going to celebrate the great Bob Buker, and
we've got another edition of Lee's Leftovers. It's all yours
coming up next here, Two Pros and a cup of
Joe on a Football Friday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Let's give this.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Well, wlah blah blah blah blah, lah wah, wah blah
blah blah, blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Blah, wow wow wow wow, hell yeah, stick, I got
a new song. I got a new one.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
I've had one for weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I just haven't I haven't submitted. I have not submitted
it yet.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, well, we gotta wait till Brady gets back and
then we'll fire off.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh uh, we're gonna wait. We're gonna wait for that.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yeah, well you know it's uh, he's gonna be off today.
I believe off Monday, and he should be back. Him
and the wife. Everything went through successfully and they've welcomed
a brand new baby boy into the bunch at the
Quinn household. Uh so, uh kid number two hundred and
twelve for the Quinns and uh, you know, the holidays
(01:53):
just get more and more expensive for Brady Quinn and company.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
There.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
So so there's there's.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
That that money, that money. Yeah, I can't.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio. It is LeVar Arrington and Jonas
Knox with you. We are going to take you all
the way up until nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific.

(02:26):

the way tire buying should be. WELP, what it appears
that maybe the thought this big, grand idea and plan
and potential of one Dion Sanders coming to the Dallas Cowboys,
(02:47):
maybe it's starting to become that much more of a reality.
Yesterday on the Dan Patrick Show, which you can hear
on many of these Fox Sports radio affiliates after we
go off the air here Monday through Friday, Cowboys insider
Ed Werder discussed the latest on Coach Prime. Any potential
(03:08):
of this actually happening.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
Regarding Dion, we know that he has not yet formally
interviewed for the job. The Cowboys have extended invitations to
Leslie Frazier and Robert Salah to be the first two
to interview formerly for the job. But Dion told Adam
Schefter the other day that Jerry Jones reached out to
him and they discussed the job and everything. I continue
(03:33):
to be told dan Is that Jerry is interested. It
was described to me as he's enamored with the idea. Obviously,
it's hard to imagine any coaching candidate who could create
more interest, someone that Jerry could more sell to the
fan base here, which needs to happen, and make Jerry
more money than Dion Sanders. I mean he won a
(03:56):
Super Bowl here as a player. There are also people
around Dion who tell me that he's being urged by
his supporters in Colorado to take the job, and that
they believe if Jerry ever does offer him the job,
that he will take. That he has an extension to
remain at Colorado on his desk that he hasn't even
looked at as he considers these other possibilities. There are
(04:17):
also people close to Dion who tell me they don't
see it happening, but they've seen things happen with Jerry
Jones that they didn't expect to happen before.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
So that is the very latest on the potential of
Dion Sanders coming to Dallas to be the new head
coach of the Cowboys. Now, they did request an interview
to talk with former Cowboys assistant Kellen Moore, so that's
out there. Obviously, he's a little busy right now, is
the Eagles offensive coordinator, so he's got that to worry about.
(04:47):
But at least there is some mutual interest and at
least some buzz at this thing. This whole thing could
possibly happen there with coach Prime.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
I mean, listen, Dion Sanders is as masterful a brander,
as as masterful an entertainer, as as masterful as it
gets with handling himself with the media, you name it.
He's been. He's been pretty bulletproof, even when people have
(05:19):
you know, taken aim at him and have like really
really aggressively have tried to poke holes in Dion Sanders.
Whether it be the way he coaches, whether it be
the access that he grants, whether it be his relationship
with his sons. Dion Sanders has has always found a
(05:41):
way to come out on top. And and when you
look at the way he's been able to build what
he's done and what he's built from, there should be
no surprise that this would be. How how Jerry Jones
views Deon Sanders. Deon Sanders was an asset to him
(06:03):
as a player, and now with Deon Sanders being able
to transition out of football and into media and through
media into coaching. He would be an asset, a tremendous
asset more than any other of those, uh you know
candidates that were mentioned, uh Leslie Fraser, fine coach, Robert
(06:25):
Salah fine coach. They pale in comparison to what Deon
Sanders would represent to the Dallas Cowboys. And not to
mention the idea of could Deon Sanders really rally the troops?
Could Deon Sanders really be a uniting factor of the players,
(06:51):
the organization, and the community that is connected to the
Dallas Cowboys one hundred percent, one hundred percent. And I
made this point in in shows past. Dion Sanders is
one of those guys, probably one of one that you
would say actually lives in his own alternate universe of
(07:15):
reality that he's created for himself, that could handle the
created alternate universe and reality that Jerry Jones has created
for himself in Dallas that would probably be the only
coach that exists. You're looking for a Dan Campbell clone.
You're talking about Jason Witten. Please put that to bed,
(07:38):
because if you're talking about trying to win and at
the same time have the ability to be able to
sell and and and and put put hope back into
people's hearts. It's Deon Sanders. It's it's a no brainer.
I don't even know why, like at Warner actually, like
that's a million and not not a shot at add
(08:00):
the way I'm saying it. But I mean, you can't.
That's not a military secret. What Deon Sanders would represent
to Jerry Jones, to Dallas, to that community, to that team,
there's no secret. So what's the problem. Figure it out?
If it's this, If there's this much smoke to Deon
(08:20):
Sanders possibly becoming the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
He's proven he can do it at every level. The
only one that still is out there that he needs
to do it at is at the pro level. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
And I also think at this point, if you're questioning
whether or not what he does quote unquote works, you
haven't been paying attention. And it doesn't mean well, what
national championship did he win? Well, okay, what did he
take over and what did he leave after he walked away?
If this is the time he decides to walk away,
(08:54):
And on that point, if you were going to walk
away wouldn't it be maybe as good a time as
ever for him to walk away from Colorado, Like if
he wanted to leave. Look, your sons are gonna get drafted.
You got a Heisman Trophy candidate.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
The program trophy winner.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
The Heisman Trophy winner rather your son.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
You had two Heisman Trophy candidates.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
The program is in as good a spot as it's
been in in decades. You've done your job. I don't
want to hear anybody say, well what about all this?
I love it here. I plan on being here. Okay,
Well he loves it in Texas too, That's why he
still lives there, doesn't he Like, doesn't he still have
a place there? Like I just I look at it
and I go, if you weren't gonna walk away, now's
(09:42):
the time to walk away, Like now it would.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Be the time they make anyone it gets to choose
that for a person, you know what I mean? Like,
whatever it is, your life journey takes you on. Nobody
was sitting there clamoring to to Dion when he was
trying to get the job at Florida State. Oh y'all
got short memories out there? Huh, check yourself, because when
(10:05):
that man was trying to get a job at Florida State.
Y'all didn't think he can do it. Y'all thought it
was a gimmick. Y'all thought Dion Sanders was a joke.
And now what four years removed three four years removed
from that fateful moment where they actually were looking at
Dion as if it's too big of a program. And
(10:28):
so he had to go through an HBCU. Shots out
to Jackson in the HBCU school taking a chance on
Dion Sanders and giving him the opportunity, and shots out
to Colorado for having the foresight to see that, you
know what, if he can do that at Jackson State,
he can do this at Colorado. Let's get behind this
(10:50):
man and let's support him. Now, when you have someone
who is as gifted and as talented as Dion Sanders is,
you know what you signed up for. Nobody has to
act as though Colorado is a victim of circumstance in
this scenario. You know what you signed up for. That
(11:12):
man took a one win team and turned them into
a competitor, took them to a bowl game this year,
as you mentioned, two Heisman candidates and one winner, and
so to me and looking at if you think for
two seconds having Tarrell Owens around and adding Warren Sap
(11:36):
to your roster. Oh, y'all forgot about all that, adding
George Hageman to your roster, adding all of these former
pros that are significant in the idea of being able
to coach and be able to relate to young men.
If you don't think that that man has been putting
together a coaching staff that could translate to the pros,
(11:59):
then you don't know who Dion Sanders is. You have
no idea who that man is. And so with that
being said, hey, if it happens, it happens. There is
no This is the he gets to choose when the
perfect time is. You know why, because he's been able
to create the opportunities. And that's what it comes down to.
(12:21):
No one has given Dion anything. Dion Sanders has earned
the opportunity and he has earned the right to be
not only sought after, but to decide if he'd rather
stay at Colorado or if he'd rather take an opportunity
and take a chance. It's not like it's a forever thing.
If it doesn't work out, you go back.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Oh God, if it doesn't work out, he'd be hired
at a college program in five seconds.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
You go back, come on, go back. So there you go.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, I just I look at it and I go
and maybe this is you know, there's probably more to
it as far as being in depth that I get
it and go. When you get to a program or
a college program, like you have a couple of responsibilities.
And responsibilities are to be as good a coach and
mentor and do for the players what you can to
(13:14):
give them lessons so that they can move on in
life and improve them as human beings, as individuals, as players,
et cetera, et cetera. And also to make sure that
the place that you took over was in a better
spot when you left than when you arrived. He's done
both of those, Like so, I mean, he's done his part.
He's done his job. And if this is something he decides,
(13:36):
hey man, I'm ready, Like, let's go do this. There's
an opportunity here. It would be fascinating television, fascinating radio,
fascinating discussion. If you thought the Cowboys were being talked
about a lot before Jesus, If Deon Sanders takes.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yeah, that would be And why would you not do it? Yeah,
you don't have to worry about being outshined like you
did that with Jerry Joe. Who is your first coach?
That one came from Miami. Why am I blanking on
his name? Hall of Fame coach?
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Oh, Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Johnson.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
You you got a little caught up into the mix
of you know what with Jimmy, I wanted the credit.
Listen at this point, whatever it is you do what
you should have saw it as your credit. Anyway, when
you did, when you brought him in, it's your credit.
I think at this point in Jerry Jones's life, I
(14:34):
don't see him being petty about if Deon Sanders comes
in and gets the type of attention that he would receive,
the type of thing. In fact, I think it kind
of plays into the mystique, It plays into the persona
of what Jerry Jones has created in Dallas. That would
be the hottest ticket in all of sports if he
(14:55):
came there. Why would you not make that decision? Why
would you not pull the trigger on doing it?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:00):
And by the way, you know for what it's worth
that I know it's been a long time. But when
you look at these success Jerry Jones had, he turned
to who to have that success college coaches Jimmy Johnson,
Barry Switzer, like, so you know, he does have familiarity
with that idea and that thought about, Hey, let's turn
(15:20):
it over to those guys if we want to have
some success and do things differently, I think it would
be tremendous for everybody involved and for anybody interested in
the team or likes discussing the team or even look,
Colorado gave a lot of people a lot of work
over the past couple of years. And by a lot
(15:41):
of people, I mean a lot of people that were
rooting for them to lose because it was a content factory.
And that's Boulder, Colorado. What the hell do you think
is going to happen in Dallas with Jerry Jones involved
and Dion having an answer for Jerry Jones's two hits
a week on local radio in Dallas? Come on, man,
this is a gold mind.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah. I mean, they're going to go, They're gonna listen,
they're gonna bounce off of each other, so well, you know,
I mean that's again, that's what I'm saying, Like Mike
McCarthy was getting weirded out by the things that Jerry
Jones was saying do. There's no way in hell anything
is going to get Deon Sanders out of character. There's
(16:19):
no way. So Jerry's going to say what he's going
to say, and Prime is going to play right off
of it because he's masterful. We've never seen anything like
Dion Sanders, and it's safe to say he's been able
to do it in everything that he's done. Why why
is this even a conversation? It should just be a
(16:42):
formatics thing. It just should be just for a discussion.
It should have already happened. And you don't have to
do It's not a reverse Rooney rule, right, you don't
have to interview any white coaches before you hire a minority.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Call on right point. I mean, yeah, if we're gonna
do this like I mean I did, like how Edward
or pointed out that they you know, have you know,
interviewed Robert Salon, Leslie Frasier. So got that out of
the way, all right, So there's our two you know, Yeah,
but Deon's a minority, I know, but you know, it's
just so you didn't get anything out I mean cover
your tracks.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
You know, I'm just saying it's it's the reverse Jonas.
What white coaches? Did you? I don't think any of
those were white coaches.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
I mean, Jerry, if you want to interview me just
to cross you know, the t's and doty ies, I'll
take that interview to get this done. Dion in Dallas,
I'm willing to interview for the job. You know, Lee Brady,
if we can get a couple of war on there like,
why not. You know, I just want to make sure
this deal gets done. So we're looking out for you guys.
It is.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
That's all I'm saying is that Rooney rule doesn't have
any reverse, So go ahead and hire that man. Did
you get raised? No reverse racism? Verse? No reverse Rooney?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Did you get reverse Rudie.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
We've interviewed three Caucasian mail recipients for the job. Now
we can hire Dion Sanders as our coach.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Jerry White, he get an interview. He's white dog, he's white.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
We had to bring him in. Damn.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
By the way, Uh, last week we tried this and
you are not in the mood to uh to really
embrace the whole feel and vibe of it all, but
this week I feel like there's gonna be a different
I'm okay.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Now, I'm okay with it, like I'm okay with it.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Okay, It's a football Friday.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Come on, Barby's Friday.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
Higher, come on, come on, do it, do it.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Do it.
Speaker 7 (18:48):
Planets, laser laser, planet and lasers, planets and lasers. Go planets,
Go planets, Planet go planets.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Come on, come on, come on, let's do it. Let's
do this, Let's do this. Friday night. Is the Football
Friday Friday. Welcome Las, Yeah, yeah, for some football it is.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
You can bet your stories. It's a Football Friday here
on Fox Sports Radio. So we are going to have
the usuals coming up later on. We do have another
edition of In case you missed it later on this hour.
We're also going to do our picks against the spread
for the divisional weekend in the NFL. We've got Lee's
Leftovers to close up shop an hour three. All of
it is yours here from the tire rack dot Com studios.
(19:41):
But apparently somebody is offering up some critiques, some advice
to a team that may not even want them anymore.
We'll explain and you'll hear from him next.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
App cow Boy. Can I ask a question? See go
bring us back in? Then I'm gonna ask you. I
mean I didn't. I know, we got it. We're gonna
move on to a different topic, but I just want
I had a curious question to ask. But let's introduce us,
bring us back in. Let's let's do it.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
That revs my engine. I'm into that. Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington,
Jonas Knox with you by the way, coming up in
about fifteen minutes from now. Just a real bummer, a
real bummer, but it should be celebrated at the same time.
We'll get into that for you again fifteen minutes from
now here on FSRS. What's going on?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Stick? Okay? So what pick will the Dallas Cowboys have
in the draft? Oh? Let me effort that.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Yeah, let's let's trust to source Tanker Curious one of
the great sites ever carew.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Because they weren't horrible enough to be in the mix twelve.
That's not bad. It's not bad.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Oh, I know what you're doing here, and it's not bad.
I can I guess what you're doing here.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Go ahead.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
You're thinking about what draft capital could they give up
to package with Dak Prescott to move.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Up to get your door. Yeah, let's be clear, and
let's be clear. Like the most ridiculous trade in the
history of trades outside of Deshaun Watson going to Cleveland
was who herschel Walker going to Dallas. So it's not
(21:43):
like Jerry Jones doesn't have the chops to pull the
trigger on something crazy amazing, you know what I mean?
So Dak Prescott one of them teams who has who
has the top pick?
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Tennessee's got the top pick, Cleveland's to the Giants are three,
So he's going to go to Tennessee or Cleveland. I
most I mean a lot of people have thrown out
as far.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
As imagine imagine if imagine if you swapped out Dak
Prescott for to Tennessee for that number one pick.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I just don't know that Tennessee wants to take on
that contract with Why not? Because I think Tennessee would
rather go this direction with a rookie quarterback on a
rookie deal that's got as much potential as he does.
Like I actually wondered this if if there really is
(22:41):
the potential that you know, maybe Dion to the NFL
is something that he's really interested in. I could see
them giving Brian Callahan another year in Tennessee and if
it doesn't work out after year one, allah would happened
with Caleb Williams and the Bears to firing their coach.
I could see Tennessee come knocking on deonce door and saying, hey,
(23:05):
you know we want better results. It's your son, Like,
why don't we pair that up? Like if he doesn't
take the Dallas job, I think, look, I think he's
gonna take the Dallas job personally.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
But Jonas, if you can get a coach, I mean
a quarterback of Dak Prescott's caliber, you take on that,
you take on that, you take on that that that
contract period, Dak Prescott could make Tennessee better day one.
(23:37):
You're not gonna Here's what's crazy. Deon Sanders values Shador
Sanders more than Dak Prescott. But if you go to
twenty GMS in the league and asks who would you
rather have, Shador Sanders or Dak Prescott. Who do you
think they're gonna say?
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Man, I think there'd be a real question, Like I'm
just based on the contract, Like, I don't know, Man,
that's a lot of money that they gave Dak Prescott
and based on age, contract, injury all that. I agree
with that. I think he's a better quarterback. I just
don't think Tennessee's at a place to where they're in
win now mode. I think it's I think they're rebuilding,
(24:20):
and I think they're going to go through the draft
and and find a quarterback, whether it be cam Ward
or should or Sanders. I mean, like, I just think
I think that's probably the way that they would go.
I mean, look, it'd be fascinating.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
I don't Hey, listen, sometimes you just gotta you just
gotta go ahead, and you got to pony up. And
I and I to me if I can get a quarterback,
and yeah, sure, I'm paying that amount of money. But
I'm paying that and I can I can get my
team competitive right away immediately upon bringing him in instead
(24:59):
of the chance of not being able to hit with
Shador or another quarterback at that number one pick. It
just seems to make a lot of sense that if
you were to try to package up Dak Prescott for
a number one pick. Now, maybe I'm crazy, Like maybe
(25:21):
what you're saying is one hundred percent spot on, but
I just don't see it being too outrageous to say
for the number one pick in the draft. Here take
take Dak Prescott. You get rid of Dak Prescott in Dallas,
and you clear the way to be able to get
that number one draft pick, and you succeed in doing
(25:45):
what it is that your life's goal has been, which
is making your son the number one over an all
draft pick in the NFL draft. Not to mention, you
continue to get to coach them, and by the way,
you'll have another draft pick out there. And if you
don't think that they're going to spend one of them
later round draft picks on Shallow, you're kidding yourself. He
(26:08):
has the chance to get both his kids on the
same team that he's coaching at the next level. It's
unheard of, and the storyline would be phenomenal because there's
one guy that Shiloh Sanders has the opportunity of having
a successful NFL career with there's one guy, I would
(26:28):
say that that guarantees that should do or shallow even
shador even shador, I guarantee you that both of them
can have successful NFL careers if their dad is coaching them.
And how many times you find yourself saying that dads
are usually the problem, this is one of those rare
(26:51):
instances where you're talking about you'll get the best out
of both of those young men if they're with their
dad and their coaching staff.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Look with you, I would love to see it. I
think that would be outstanding for the family, everybody involved.
It's like the Bronni James Lebron James stuff. Look, we
all know what happened, like we all get it. Like
it was you know, he wasn't going to get drafted
the Lakers, you know, wanted to make it work for Lebron,
et cetera, et cetera. All that being said, pretty cool
(27:22):
moment that he that he's out there with his son
playing in an NBA game. Like pretty cool moment. Like
he can be, you know, a bit douchey at times,
all that's fair, but pretty cool moment. It would be
cool to see Dion coach those guys at the next
level and kind of take this from you know, youth
to college to the pros and kind of follow them
(27:42):
throughout the entire timeline of their career. That would be
I mean, that would be awesome. I don't think anybody
would deny that. I just think there's a better shot
of the Tennessee Titans trading for my dog's corpse than
Dak Prescott at this.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Point in his career. I just know, man, I don't know.
I don't know. There is not a quarterback prospect in
this draft class that if I could get a hold
of a Dak Prescott caliber player, you wouldn't have that
(28:16):
opportunity any other way outside of extraordinary circumstances. Dak Prescott
is not an aid less a less franchise quarterback, but
he is a franchise quarterback. Nonetheless, he is a franchise
quarterback of legitimate proportions. He is a guy that could
(28:39):
come in and change the fortunes of your team. He
could change the trajectory of your team. So why not
entertain it a one pick? I mean, I don't know. Again,
I don't This is one of them conversations where I
know Q if he was on the show, he like, oh,
(29:00):
well you know this, this, that, that, and the other
the numbers say that, well da da da this not
the salary cap hell da da da da dad. And
I would love to hear what his his thought process
would be on if it is financially feasible to do it,
which I think it always is financially feasible to do
something if both sides are motivated to do it, And
(29:22):
if i'm if I'm Jerry Jones, and I and and
Dion Sanders is sitting there saying, Okay, here's some of
the things that I would like to happen. And if
that's one of those things, are you really willing to
to deal? Are you really willing to deal Dak Prescott
to bring in Dion Shador and basically in shallow.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
I think they would if Tennessee would do the deal.
I just I think it's Tennessee that that would say
no on that just based on the contract, not not
not not on the player, but just based on the
contract and what the results have been so far.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
But again, I just think that if Tennessee is saying
they're trying to win, if they're saying they're trying to win?
Why would you not? Why would you not if you
had the opportunity to get your hands Let me ask
you this, what year is this for for Levis? This
would be the year that you gotta pay Levis? Correct, No,
(30:23):
there's another one one more year. Yeah, okay, so you're
one year off. If Will Levis is out there dealing,
you gotta pay them. He's up. You gotta pay them.
Why not? Why not put that money into a quarterback?
You would not be able to get a free agent
quarterback of the caliber Dak Prescott. Why would you not
(30:46):
put the money into it? Why not? You don't want
to win. You're giving yourself a better opportunity to win
right now than you would with any draft pick that
you bring in to the draft. Why would you not
do that?
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Yeah? But financially it like for.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
They, I don't want to win, I mean and financially
if that's if that's what you're leaning in on, and
if that's what they would lean in on, they don't
want to win. So there you go, Titans fans, screw
your team.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
If I'm a Titans fan, dam If I'm a Titans
fan and I can get I can get a veteran
franchise quarterback by giving up my one pick, which I'm
by the way, going to use on a quarterback, which,
by the way, we have missed on quarterbacks on our
(31:39):
last what two three picks.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Yeah, they've struggled with that. Marcus didn't work out.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Did work out? Will Levis's not working out. Who's the
other one they brought in? Mason Rudolph was there this year.
I feel like there's another one that was in the draft.
Then I'm blanking. I feel like there was another one
that was drafted.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Tannehill was there, but he wasn't drafted by not Tannehill?
Speaker 2 (32:07):
What is that? Am I thinking of the right team?
They got them from Liberty or something like that.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Oh you think Malik Willis didn't they get him? Yeah,
but I mean that, like Malik Willison, will Levis weren't
first round picks.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Those were later care You brought them in to be
to be a starter for your team. You brought them
in to be a starter for your team. You have
not brought in a quarterback that has changed the fortunes
of your team since Steve McNair, since Steve mcneer and
(32:41):
y'all was in Houston when that happened. Man, go ahead
and give up that draft pick, take on that contract,
restructure it, do whatever the hell it is you need
to do. But give your fan base a win. That's
a win.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
What about Vy?
Speaker 2 (32:59):
You know, okay, Vince Yeah, events, Yeah, it didn't work out.
I mean, it wasn't great. It wasn't like. It wasn't
like uh like Steve McNair.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Yeah, but he didn't Vince Young throw his shoulder pads
into the crowd. Wasn't that a Vince Young move? Most positive?
Vin Schunk threw shoulder pads into the crowd. So there's
somebody walking around with some lightning shoulder pads from Vince
Young from back in the day.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
How about that?
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Should get those autographed. I mean, and listen, if somebody
tries to take it from.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
You, you just pull out that burner, that less lethal launcher,
and you and you say both the lives because all
you did was deter them that you didn't hurt them
in a way where it was lethal. Right, So listen,
it's the leader in less lethal self defense. And you
know I'm all about defense. So listen, they're legal, these
(33:47):
burner launches. Uh, they're legal in all fifty states with
no background checks, no permits, and no waiting periods. All right,

Huh always good time at the karaoke.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Bar, guys. In case you missed this, From one Great to.
Speaker 8 (36:01):
Another, Hey Brady, From one great to another, From ray
J to this uh ri ip to a legend Bob
Uker passed away.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yes, yeah, yeah, I love Bob Ucker by the way.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
I can't find I mean, he's been gone for a
while though, like outside of the you.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Know, what do you mean?
Speaker 2 (36:20):
I mean, like like yeah, I mean I don't know this,
you know. I mean, I know he called Brewers game.
But I'm just saying, like movies and stuff like that,
like just and in mainstream like people's minds, like he's
been out of he's been gone for a while.
Speaker 8 (36:36):
Speaking of, you know, movies and stuff. Let's get a
little taste of Bob Bucker from Major League.
Speaker 9 (36:40):
Here we go, top of the sixth man, rookie sensation,
Ricky Vaughan on the pitch.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Now you can close the book on Kelder. Oh, thank god.
Speaker 9 (36:52):
Juvenile delinquent in the off season and his major league
debut into the lineup in his first offering, Josh the
bit out tried in the corner and missed all four,
all eight. Dang Lo and On has walked the bases
loaded on twelve straight pitches.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
He did have a great voice, didn't He was awesome.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
I love Bob Uker, by the way, Major League one
of my all time favorite movies, probably a movie not
only because of the team name, but some of the
content you could not make today, you probably could not make.
People are too soft for that, way too sensitive. The
other thing about Bob Uker, I didn't so he did that.
There's like a Miller like commercial he did. And I
remember as a kid, my oldest brother Nick would walk
(37:39):
around and would just kept saying, for some reason, front row,
front row, And I'm like, why does he keep saying?
And then it dawned on me that was Bob Uker's
line and a Miller like commercial, like one of the
original Miller like commercials.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
I mean, it was a big time commercial. I'll be
down in the front row. I love it as a
long time ago though, Bro, that's a long as a
long time ago, so.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
What, it doesn't exist.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
And the cups, the cups were funny as hail back.
They were big as hall bill.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
You imagine getting one of those name.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Cups were big as hell? I can't, but I just
I don't know. It's it's so long like he's that's
so old school, man, Bob Uker is such an old
school name. Is so old school.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Let's listen to Bob Uker drinking a Miller light out
of a paint can at a game and a commercial
be the next.
Speaker 9 (38:32):
Big leaguer is getting preties to the game called the
front office bingo. And once these fans recognized me, I
probably won't even have to pay for my life here
for Miller.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
I love them.
Speaker 9 (38:42):
These fans know I first play because it's less Philly
and it tastes great.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
Good seat, sir, in the wrong seat, buddy.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Come on almost wrong seat, buddy, wrong seat bingo. They
put him up, hey, they put him up in the nosebleeds,
and he was still happy to He was still happy though,
my guy, Oh so good rue.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Rest of bees, Bob Yuker, our friends listened in Wisconsin.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
You had one of the did you here Lee snort?
Just now? I thought you snorted it sometimes? Yeah, I
thought I heard it? Okay man?
Speaker 1 (39:21):
What else?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
All right?
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Guys?
Speaker 8 (39:23):
Yesterday we talked a little bit about this Tom Brady
possible conflict of interest. You know, he's calling the Lions
commander's game, obviously pursuing Ben Johnson for that possible uh higher.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
When we've talked about.
Speaker 8 (39:33):
Him being in the booth, well, his longtime agent Don
Yee's discussed his future in the booth, saying Tom is
a tremendous amount of fun working with Fox this year,
and he's really excited about the future with Fox and
his growth on their team. And this year was the
first year of a long relationship, basically alluding.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
To the fact that he's not going to be stepping
off the gas and.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
All this stuff.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
He's got a ten year contract, three or seventy five mil.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Good for you, Tom, Good for you. Keep at a baby,
keep working, You're getting better, keep working, You're fine, and
you know.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
What, talk about diversifying.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
No kidding, man, I swear togain like, I like to
work hard. But I think if I was calling it
a career and I had the money, I'd be like,
you know what, we relax a little bit. He does not.
He's got investments everywhere. He's got his hands and a
bunch of different pots.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Uh, he's had a bunch of different parts. Sure, he
does planets, laser, Yes, I don't know. He went to space,
outer space.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Going outer space, so we called a super bowls
Speaker 2 (40:41):
Aroldly, going where no other man has gone before.
