Sports Radio. Yeah, yeah, yeah with the cue holes though,
(00:53):
what is this call? By the way, what is that
the Zach Crockett? Was that Crockett the first ZA shuts
out to a mega side by the cute dogs. Seaquille
also did that. Yeah they don't. You'll say that out loud,
bad because you have to hit the button on that.
(01:14):
Why it's a Greek return fraternity, Okay, I know, like
a like a a storied uh that are wondering what
we're doing. I just yah, Zach Crockett. They would do
this thing to where they would point out their their
hands and actions almost looked like antlers. Right, yes, you gotta.
(01:40):
I'm just gonna tell you if there are any black
people that are awake right now listening to this, They're like,
are they serious right now? Yes? Yes, how does it?
What do you mean? Yes, they are serious right there
would be awake. Why wouldn't they be awake? Man, Come on, man, Well,
because we like to sleep in you know what I mean. Yeah,
it's a good point. I mean if I wasn't doing radio,
I'd be sleep obviously. It is two pros and a
(02:06):
cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington Jonas
knocks at the here on FS are no Brady Quinn
he will be back tomorrow, but we will take you
all the way up until nine am Eastern times, six
o'clock Pacific, not only on the I Heart Radio app
but on hundreds of affiliates all across the country. So
we appreciate you making us a part of your Tuesday
morning here. So um, we got our answer. Well, a
(02:28):
couple of answers A does anybody listen to the show?
B is it football season? And both of those absolutely yes, yes.
Because we had a discussion about Zach Wilson and UH
(02:49):
Jets fans were not having it. They were not happy
with some of the the comments as UH Brady Quinn
was being was offered constructive criticism, some analysis on an
interception Zach Wilson through all fair points, all valid points,
and man, oh man, all Jets people, i mean all
(03:13):
Jets fans did was proved the point that there is
this love and this need for Zach Wilson to be
the real deal and people are are dying out. But
it's true, man Like, there's there's nothing wrong with pointing
out that the guy made a bad throwing a bad
decision on the on the interception. There's nothing wrong with
(03:34):
pointing that out. And that was before he suffered the injury.
Nobody's rooting for him to get injured or anything like that.
But just the whole coverage of you know, he may
or may not have, you know, slept with his mom's friend,
all of that stuff that came out. It just the
whole coverage of it was weird. And so when you
get that and then mixed in, sprinkled in there was
(03:55):
the coverage of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I thought we were
pretty complimentary to Kenny pick It, but of course somebody
found something wrong with that. Well, you guys don't know
what you're talking about. They're not gonna start one and three.
It's like you can't win, man, Like with with these
fan bases, you cannot win. They were fired up and
piste off yesterday. It was fun at you. Yeah, you know,
(04:18):
as long as I stay out of the crossfire, I
just I just like to be a spectator of it.
You know, when he said when he was saying it,
if you notice, if you go back and you listen
to it, I don't say a word, you know, I
didn't make a word, make it sound well, I was
just letting him make his point, you know. And sometimes
you just gotta you just gotta make your points. And
(04:38):
and you know he does it emphatically and clearly. Me
and him are the only ones that get into it.
Clearly there are a few other people out there that
want to get into it with them. It's funny, man,
and the other thing got gone. Or the days of
we agree to disagree, that's over. Yeah no, But people
(05:00):
don't like that. But the crazy thing is that people
don't want people don't want to disagree. But at the
same time, people don't I don't know, they don't. They're
not sensible sometimes about what their expectations are. So when
you disagree. It's like it's so it's so far out
(05:21):
of the realm of sensibility sometimes that it's like I
could try to see your point and understand it from
your side. Like yesterday we were having I was having
a conversation with somebody and they were like, um, they're
like when you guys talk about sports sometimes or a
lot of times, you guys are just you know, joking
(05:42):
and talking and and different things like that, Like I
don't really feel like it's coming from an educated place,
like you don't really know what you're talking about. And
I was like, I was like, I was like, well,
I was like, do you want this to be an
exces and oh because in exces and ohs it's it's
very difficult to debate or or have conversations about XS
(06:05):
and those like you look at it, you read it
off here, here's what they are, here's what it presents,
this is what it is, and you can interpret that
the way that you want to. But you know that
there's always gonna be different ways of seeing how how
to XS and those in the stats, you know, dictate
a conversation. But and talk radio and sports talk radio,
(06:27):
especially at three in the morning, for us and six
in the morning for some people somewhere. Uh, we're just
really taking our perspectives of of the topics that are
out there, and we're being just like you, We're being
sports fans. And I think sometimes I think sometimes people
get a little bit carried away. And it's one thing
(06:49):
that you understand about fandom, right, like, fans are fanatics,
and and I think that I think fans ultimately forget
that we're as fans talking sports as well. And and
yes we are educated on it. I mean, there's there's
no reason for me to go into a deep dive
(07:09):
of of a three hour study session or four hour
study session of why Zack Wilson is a sympathetic figure
in New York. It's not it's not worth it. If
you formed that opinion, if Q formed that opinion, and
that's his opinion, just like you have an opinion about
the person I had an opinion, just like you may
(07:30):
have an opinion about the topic itself. That's really all
it is. We just happened to speak better than you
on on on a microphone, or you just haven't gotten
your opportunity yet. I mean, it's just wanted to two
or it could be something else, you know. But the
bottom line is is that we're sports fans as well,
and and you know we've we've aren't the opportunity we've
(07:51):
we've aren't the right to be able to to speak
about being fans on on the radio show. I mean,
and we get paid to do it. Like I heard
a great and from our bosses here years ago. I
was having a conversation just about you know, radio and
philosophy and all that, and I'll never forget this. They said, stories,
not stats, but don't don't overload people with a bunch
(08:14):
of numbers and gadgets and all that stuff too. Of course,
so why not just come on the air, bust some
balls and have fun. And if if you are sensitive
or you're too much of a fanboy and you can't
handle a little bit of razzing or a little bit
of some of the jokes that come along with it,
and it's it's like, I don't know what to tell you, man,
(08:35):
then then you're just angry. And I'm not going to
start out my day at three o'clock Pacific time, six
on the East Coast being angry about stuff. It's a
sports talk radio show. It's a morning show, let's have
some fun, like come on, super tight. You know, it's
(08:58):
just I mean, it is what it is. It's like,
I mean, I was getting crushed from Bears fans because
we had the conversation about Justin Fields last week, and
just like, man, you know, he's in a really tough spot.
All of that's true, Like every every ounce of that
is true. He's in a tough spot. It's year two.
He's got a brand new GM, a brand new coach,
(09:19):
an entirely new staff, and Ryan Poles, Oh yeah about
general motors No no, no no, no, and so no so
so he's got so he's got all this new stuff
surrounding him, and they've depleted his weapons all of that.
That's That's an example of a guy who's been put
(09:41):
in a really tough spot. And we've talked about this before.
Situation can determine your outcome in the NFL more often
than not. I mean, just look around, Like look at
the two thousand eighteen draft class. Baker Mayfield and Sam
Donald are competing for the same job, and it was
and they were taken in the tough repicks. It was
four years ago. That wasn't that long ago. Meanwhile, Josh
(10:04):
Allen's the preseason MVP favorite, Lamar Jackson's already won an
m v P, and then you got Josh Roseen News
in Cleveland, Like that's all from the same quarterback track class.
If that doesn't tell you that situation dictates a lot
of your outcome and future in the NFL, I don't
know how else we can explain it to people. And
that's all the point is. You can't. All you can
(10:26):
do is give your perspectives because people aren't going to
want to understand that. That's what you know. That's that's
what I've ultimately realized. You can give as much perspective
as you like, but people aren't going to want to
understand because they want to understand things the way that
they understand it, which you're definitely entitled to that opinion.
(10:50):
So I don't. I don't try to change people's opinions.
That's not why I enjoy and love doing radio. I
enjoy and love doing radio more than any other aspect
of of media because you get an opportunity to just
have a regular conversation as a sports fan. And and
you're right, and if it was Don and Scott that
(11:12):
said that, listen stories are more more entertaining, more you know,
more fun to be a part of than just like
buttoned up, you know, suit and coat. In the studio
it was four of six for twenty two yards and
the red he had like and then you gotta break
(11:33):
down on the four and six and then you're like,
I much rather say like you could call cute, like
they called him a bus, all kinds of craziness, like
if he's a bus, then what are you? Like? What
are you Because honestly speaking, the man played himself and
and worked himself into a job where he was drafted
(11:55):
in the first day to do that job. And okay,
most most guys that make it to the league are
not going to have the craziest of crazy careers where
they end up in the Sports Hall of the Football
NFL Hall of Fame. Some guys don't even make Pro Bowls.
(12:16):
Some guys aren't all pros. But you know what, they're
out there playing against those Hall of famers. They're out
there playing against those those Pro Bowlers and them all pros,
and and they're out there and they're part of those games.
Like do you understand how much goes into being a
let alone a starter on the NFL team or a
(12:37):
pro team. But just think about how how long the
aunts are for you to actually make it onto a
roster of an NFL team and for someone to have
the and Q ain't one of them. He's not a
dumb former player, Like, he's not one of those guys
you know, we're we're not you know, we're not dumb
(12:58):
guys that that are trying to talk sports and can't
can't put two words together and create a sentence. It's
it's like, we we have things to say. We we
could say things pretty well. And he's actually one of
those dudes that do it, does a lot of studying
and likes to read about it and understand it and
dissect it in that way like let that man be,
(13:20):
Let that man do what he does man, because he's
really great at what he does. That's why this show works.
So so relax, relax yourselves, because no matter how much
you want to make him a bust or want to
talk crazy about us, when we have a topic that
we're giving our perspectives on, it's not going to change'll
cin circumstances is not going to change your team circumstances.
(13:41):
So so relax, Yeah, and that can play that can
out play you know, us saying that this is what
it is. He can do that. And the bottom line is,
I mean, just to put an exclamation point on this
entire segment, the Jets are gonna be a bad football team.
So I mean, you can get upset about it all
you want, but I would highly I would highly encourage
(14:02):
people to take the under on their wind total. Uh
so there's there's that all fun stuff. What is that?
I don't know that that's ten dollars, but it's something aggressive.
I'll say that. All right. It is two pros and
a cup of Joe. Here Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington
Jonas knocks you here on fs are brought to you
by Discover. We can talk about how complicated other banks

terms apply. All right, So we got the usuals coming

We've also got another edition of would you Rather? And
we got the scraps to put them bow on this
bad boy here on a Tuesday on fs ARE. Coming

up next though, um there is some speculation that we
could have ourselves some sort of a common ground met
on a major story in the NFL. We will get
into that for you right here on fs ARE. Fox

want it at all it and up like this. It
was only a chiss. It's taking Oh damn, and I'm
(16:10):
taking a drag. Yeah, chess now dress now letting it go? Yeah,
come on, Yeah, I just can't stop. It's killing me. Yeah,
(16:35):
making up my words. It's I don't know, but this
is my favorite part right here. I mean I don't
know all those words, but I know this part. Jealousylla bye.
But you know these guys are Mormon because it's just
(16:55):
the price I pay that standy is calm all. Let
me open up my eager eyes because ign Mr bright Side,
that'll blow your voice out. Yeah, bad, Mr bright Side?
(17:16):
Up in this? Yeah coming, Mr bright Side bright Side?
What yeah you are? You guys didn't get that news right,
You're a horrible person. He's not that much older, by
the way, it is that kind of looked at that.
(17:36):
It's two pros and a cup of Joe. Here. Fox
Sports Radio LaVar Arrington Jonas knocks you the here on
FSR for those he is. If people knew what a
dirt bag he was behind the scenes, they would just
I don't know if we could be on the air
to be honest with you with some of the comments
but um, by the way, that was the killers of
(18:00):
those you on the podcast of what was being talked
about there. There are Mormon though point that out. Um,
all right, so coming up twenty minutes from now, we
are going to have the return. It's one of the
great stories and one of the great drama events in
all of sports and recent memory, and it is going
to be played out in a big way coming up
(18:20):
twenty minutes from now. Does that mean that they were
messing with multiple dresses? Then it just there their multiple
drags of the cigarette being pool there was the multiples
of multiples. You know. It's um, it's one of my
favorite stories. That Yeah, good b y U poll that's uh,
(18:45):
see it may all make sense there. You're gonna be careful. So,
uh you want you want a you wanted Deshaun Watson
update or kind of an update if you want to.
I mean, look, it's uh, it's want to play another
preseason game. Um, I'm not sure about that. There is
(19:06):
some speculation that a settlement is still a possibility, and
that's why it's taking Peter Harvey, Peter C. Harvey so
long to make this ruling that he's still holding out
hope that they're going to get some sort of a
settlement done and they can figure this out, a settlement
between the p A and the NFL. Yes, And I
(19:29):
think that Deshaun Watson showing up and all of a
sudden being apologetic and all of a sudden willing to
talk about it. Somebody's taken over because we haven't. He
was in denial of this. I don't feel like I
did anything wrong. Yeah, but but he's just somebody's taking control.
(19:51):
So he's being directed now, and so it's a director
of the show going on right now. It does feel
like seeing how contrite he is and how you know,
he's showing remorse and all of these things that he's doing,
all of a sudden, there's got to be somebody behind
the scene saying, dude, there's a chance here we could
(20:12):
still maybe play this season. You're gonna lose some money.
This is the reality of the situation. So let's start
with a little bit of damage control. You know, go
be apologetic, go say some nice things, and and let's
see if this helps the cause. Because I think Deshaun
Watson's camp and I think the NFL p A realize
we're gonna we're losing here. It's not a good look.
(20:34):
I can't hurt, right, it can't hurt to handle things
a little bit differently than what you already have been
how you've already been handling them. Has he not handled
them the correct way? Do you think or what do
you think? I don't I don't know that he seems favorable.
And and if there was like a pole you know
(20:56):
how to like they do the likable pole or whatever,
like the approval rating rating, I don't think it would
be very high. No, I don't think so as well either.
I just at this point, we gotta like some At
some point, you gotta make a decision and you gotta
move on. And the only explanation for why this is
(21:16):
continuing to drag out, like man, it took him five
weeks to come up with the six game, and then
here we are. They appeal, the NFL appeals before the deadline,
and they've talked about what it was going to be
an expedited Uh, you know, it was gonna the final
decision that was going to be binded binding by the
NFL p A and by the NFL. Deshaun Watson, this
(21:37):
is gonna be expedited. This is gonna get done quicker. Well,
it hasn't, and he played a preseason game and there's
another one coming up this weekend that's going to be
actually televised nationally live that I'm sure, as we mentioned yesterday,
NFL network isn't is looking at going well. I mean, look,
if he's still available to play, we would like some
(21:57):
of those numbers to be able to watch it. And
here we are, and it's like they're still holding out
hope for some sort of a a common ground or
a settlement that they can put together, whatever their final
decision is. If there's no settlement reached between the n
f L p A and Deshaun Watson and the league.
I don't want to hear anybody playing violence for Deshaun
(22:18):
Watson because there were multiple opportunities to get something done,
to show some sort of remorsefulness, some sort of understanding
of the gravity of the situation, and he failed to
do it at multiple stops. So you what's interesting about
you talking about pulling out the violin for Deshaun Watson.
There are a lot of people that hold the accusers
(22:42):
and and poor regard, Like in some of the conversations
that I've had, you know, whether at the barbershop, whether
whether you know at the football field. Some of the
conversations have actually some of the comments that I've read
and some of these these uh these chat rooms, there
(23:03):
are some people that are very sympathetic to Deshaun Watson.
And and it's interesting because as we get closer to
whatever this penalty is going to be that he's going
to have to to handle and take, um, it's it's
just to me, it's weird how storylines begin to take
(23:26):
their own their own shape in form. It's like, okay,
that is more the punishment is more of a story
than anything else. And it's like the focal point of
all of this is not you know, well, dude, whether
(23:47):
whether you think he was right or whether you think
he was wrong, I think we can all agree that
that many uh people being a mock or real massage
therapist for him is not it's it's not normal. He's
(24:08):
so so whether you think he was taking advantage of
by these these accusers or not, you still have to
look at the numbers and come to the conclusion that,
you know what, maybe the biggest conversation here should be
about him getting help and making sure that that doesn't
(24:30):
morph or turn into something other than just getting you know,
massages all the time, like, oh, well, the team has
to monitor and manage his his his actions in terms
of getting getting massage therapy, like what like, that's not
(24:51):
you're not fixing the problem. You're not addressing the issue.
You have an employee that has a serious issue that
needs to be addressed. And that's not even like a topic.
It's not even a main topic bar when bringing up
Deshaun Watson anymore. Not that's kind of sad. And again,
whether you fall on the side of your your you know,
(25:13):
you have some some empathy for for Deshaun Watson, or
you feel like maybe he's been wrong, if you feel
the opposite, where you feel like he deserves the book
throwing at him, whatever it may be. No matter what
side you fall on this situation, the one thing that
is very clear in all of this is that he
(25:34):
needs help. And and that's not a shot at Deshaun Watson.
That's just the truth. The actions that have come out,
the amount of numbers that are connected to that information
that's come out says that you need to address a
serious issue in nature, so much so where the Commissioner
(25:56):
of your job, said that your acts were egregious and
and predatorial. Those aren't everyday words that you use for
someone who just they made a mistake. And you know,
oh I I used a performance enhancing drug. Like okay,
(26:17):
Like those aren't You don't use egregious and and predatorial
on certain things. Jonah's that's just that's just you know,
So I feel like the the focus really should be
on him, him getting help. Like it's great that he
is complicit, it's great that he apologized, but you know what,
I could care less about that, like show show me
(26:39):
like you like Mike Vick started doing all of those
things for for dogs, He started like doing all kinds
of and people didn't want him to do it, but
he did it anyway. And and and those where his
actions speaking for him trying to find a level of
of redemption, uh, a level of you know, giving back
(27:01):
to something that he was a part of that was
so egregious and predatorial. So to me, I need to
see the action, show the action, you know, create some
type of of you know, Masseuses of of America or
something like that where you know you can give them
(27:22):
um the support that they need and the understanding of
how to stay away from scenarios. And I was being
real sarcastic right there. I was being real sarcastic because
I was being real serious, Like I'm being serious, all seriousness,
but honestly show us that that you know you did
it wrong, do the things that let us know you
(27:43):
did it wrong. And and also he's got to understand
no matter what he does moving forward, whether he gets counseling,
there's gonna be people that aren't going to forgive him
just the way it's gonna be. And and and people
are going to judge right and there's some and there's
somebody listening right now, Like DeShawn doesn't have to do that.
The song doesn't have to do anything to prove to
anybody that's not okay, that's fine. But he is in
(28:04):
a public forum and he does play for a team,
and he you know, the thing about it is he's
he's a celebrity. So it would be it would be
plausible to think that you would do things that will
help to clean up your public image because you're in
a public sport. Look, you want to play the game,
you gotta play the game a little and part of
(28:26):
playing the game for him moving forward is he's got
to do stuff like that, and he's got to show
some sort of of remorse and and and actually put
action to whatever words that that that come out of
his mouth moving forward. And like, like I was saying,
there's gonna be people that don't forgive him, man, Michael Vick.
Anybody that's ever talked to him since that time, and
and I he's been interviewed, and I've talked I've only
(28:49):
talked to him sort of on the phone by way
through an interview. Could not have been a nicer guy.
Could super cool dude. And a lot of people have
said that was a guy who really learned, like really
learned what he went through. And and you look at
some of the details of the dogs and how they
were treated and all that, and then you see some
of the backdrop being well, his upbringing and where they're from.
(29:13):
That's commonplace, like that that was a common practice dog.
I mean, well, listen, probably not, but the point being
that was a guy who learned and figured out I
was heading down a wrong path. I got punished for it.
I was fortunate to get back. He had to file
for bankruptcy all of that, so he lost everything. But
(29:36):
whether he did or not, he gave a public perception
that he did yes, And that's what ultimately comes down to. Listen,
I know, I know all kinds of people who appear
to be super cool and have done time and have
done some really really heinous things, and they appeared to
(29:57):
have been reformed and have paid their dues and did
their time. But let the right situation occur, and that
you're gonna get every bit of what what got them
there in the first place from that person. And and
so for what is worth, you know, it's not for
us to figure out if if what Deshaun Watson is
is saying or doing is is from the heart, if
(30:21):
it's real, if he really has made a change on
the inside. But but for damn sure, you could take
the proper steps and making sure people feel comfortable about
who you are as a person, at least the public
persona of you. You know, people aren't getting, people aren't
getting behind the scenes looks at people's lives like that.
(30:45):
So for what it's worth, you take it, take it
that face value, and you move from there. But you
don't just leave it out there. You don't just leave
it out there where it's like, uh, you know, he
has nothing to say about it. He never came out
and apologized, or he never made a point to acknowledge
what the circumstances and what the situation was like. That
(31:08):
would have been a terrible mistake. And also to your
original point, when you said there's some people that are
sympathetic to de seaun and may be critical of the accusers.
People can say, well, that's a straw man argument. Nobody
says that, yeah, you should check social media. There's a
lot of people that say that. There's a lot of
people that go, oh, well, they knew what was going on,
they knew what they were signing up for. What about
(31:29):
the women that were complicit in this? What about the
ones that that the event, the massage did turn into
something more than that. Look, all of that's fine. We're
not saying that every single Watson. He's got a lot
of money, he's he's a famous quarterback, so all of
it's just a fact to think that he's a victim here. Nobody.
Nobody's saying that that every single one of them felt
(31:53):
the way that a lot of a lot of the
emotional testimonies have come across. But there are so many
counts of this that it's like the numbers are shocking.
I mean, think like, think about if you just take
a step back. We're talking. We went from ten to
(32:15):
four to sixty to a hundred different visits. This is crazy,
the whole things. And that's why when Roger Goodell makes
the comment predatory and egregious, he chose those words carefully,
and he chose them for a reason. This isn't Rob
Manford calling the World Series Trophy a piece of ten.
(32:37):
All right, Roger Goodell, for for all his flaws and
whatever you want to say about him, the guy knows
what he knows how to handle these situations because he's
learned from his mistakes, which were the Ray Rice two
games suspension and all of that. When he comes out
and says predatory and he comes out and says egregious,
he chose those carefully for a reason. So together they
(32:58):
weren't at those two together. Yeah, and so we we
will get to see who knows. Hopefully they'll be uh
and and and answer on how many games he is
going to be suspending that we take the conversation. I
know we gotta get to Eddie, but how quickly do
you think the conversation changes once once the the punishment,
the penalty is is announced, Like, do you think that
(33:20):
this will be an ongoing conversation or do you think
because it almost seems like this plays into Deshaun Watson
and his camps favor Like people have fatigue talking about this.
I know I do. There's so much fatigue about it.
Once once the penalty comes down, it's like, all right, good,
like gone. And so when he comes back, I mean,
(33:42):
does it become a thing or is it like everybody
moves on from it. I think that's why the NFL
wants a year. They want him just go away. But
I think once he comes back, there's gonna be some
people that still have the discussion. But the fact that
football is right around the corner and and we're basically
in football season, I think bulls attention span is now
going to turn towards their fantasy drafts, their teams, all
(34:04):
of that stuff, and then and then we get to
we get to move on. So hopefully it'll be over soon,
all right, Jonas Knox, it is LaVar Arrington. It is
two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports.
Right coming up next, it is one of the more
bizarre stories in recent sports history, and it is going
to be played out in front of your very eyes
in a major way. We will get into that for
you here on fs ARE. Fox Sports Radio has the
(34:27):

Heart Radio app coming up top next hour. A little
over ten minutes from now, a weird situation in the
NFL took another turn, and yesterday this is gonna be
a fun conversation. We'll have that for a year again.
A little over ten minutes from now, before we get
to another edition of incase you missed it, I want
to let you know that we are brought to you
(35:10):
by Discover. We could talk about how complicated other banks
make it to redeem credit card rewards, or we could
talk about how Discover you can redeem your rewards for
cash and any amount of any time. I mean, talk
about amazing, learn more, discover dot com, slash redeemed rewards
terms apply. Sometimes you can't get to everything in the
world of sports or entertainment. Good thing, the guys are
here to bring you. You missed it, and for that
(35:35):
we turn it over to Ricky Herrera because the lead
to laugh is still vacationing. I believe he's on in
some sort of an Igloo and Juno Alaska. Um, he's
uh doing god knows what with his better half, and
so we wait Lee's arrival. He's been gone for basically
four months, so Ricky is now taken over for us here.
(35:56):
We come on, dude, get back Lee. At some point, listen,
you're a person. No I just said's at some point
it's like a jealousy. No, I'm fine whatever, get massage
therapy from that. We got We got Ricky here. You
know we don't. We don't need Damie Lee. What have
(36:16):
we got Ricky? Guys? In case you missed it, Brady's
boy man Tito, will be featured in a two part
Netflix documentary premiering today Later today called Untold The Girlfriend
Who Didn't Exist? Oh yeah, so this two parts series?
(36:37):
Is it for real or is it like for fake
it's for real. Yeah, it's it's like a real, uh
real documentary. And I think isn't the the the fake
girlfriend the catfish the woman who did the catfish if
it is a woman, Uh, isn't she also speaking in
(36:59):
the style documentary? I think they're doing like an interview
with that and she's going to go through like the
whole process without happen. It's it's one of the most
insane stories that I can I can ever remember just
I mean not joint became a national phenomena. Like it's
like it almost like propelled him to winning the Heisman.
(37:21):
It did. It was closed, he was a sympathetic figure.
He was nowhere near as good as me, and I
should have been way closer to the Heisman than he was.
That I needed a fake girlfriend, I needed a catfish girlfriend.
Well it's not even just a fake girlfriend. It's a
fake girlfriend that died. Like it's it's one thing that
(37:41):
you go play for a national title. So it was
like all things given, like it was the perfect storm. Yeah,
it's like it's one thing to walk around the corps,
all right, it's another thing for that corpse not to
be real, Like that's like, that's strange, but at least
you don't have to feel the loss of a real corpse.
Cared about that real corps. Yeah somebody made that real corpse. Yeah,
(38:03):
there you go. But there's a bone, like there's a
positive to that. But you know, it's like it was
like a modern day weekend at Bernie's, just walking around,
except Bernie didn't exist in this edition. And I was
wondering if it was a real documentary. It's a fair
that's what. I don't even think that nobody caught it,
but it is a fair point. By the way it's
(38:26):
I mean, it's not even close to my favorite catfish
story in the NFL. In my favorite one, yeah, the
the I Can and paul A story. U the former
Jets player who showed up thinking he was meeting up
with some gal and walks into the house and you
couldn't figure out why she She didn't she didn't want
(38:46):
the lights turned on. She had a sheet over her head,
and uh, he just couldn't figure out why she wouldn't
take the sheet off her head. And all of a sudden,
her phone lit up underneath the sheet, and he saw
a beard, and he knocked him out, the cops got
a cops cops got called for assault, and I gave
(39:08):
him paully. I didn't let him know, like, hey, you know,
I I thought, uh, you know, um Denise was Dave.
I don't want to tell you. I just thought, Dave.
It's like, I mean, yeah, there's uh, there's a lot
that No, there's not no mistake there. So we we
get to uh now get to see the inside details
(39:30):
and dirt. But mans relationship, yeah, some like some like
that's that is the definition of a rocket ship. That's
I think
