part of Hard Knocks. It's all yours coming up next here,

(02:33):
name starts with an A. That's why you're in a group.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
By the way, I think you and I might have
been near each other and we didn't know.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Were you in San Diego? Yes? Yeah, I was there too, Yeah, Safari,
I went to the zoo. Yeah, we were close. How
about us? How about that? Yeah, can't keep us away.
And then I was at work. Yeah that's all right.
Oh I was working too. There's a bunch of kids
with us, all right, there was a lot to work there.
I mean I had a bunch of kids with me too. Yeah.

(03:03):
Well listen all mine. Yeah, that definitely wasn't the case here.
There was a lot going on. But nonetheless it is.
It is fun to be bad, you feel it? Yes? Okay? Good?
So did you get it off your chest. That's almost gone. Okay,
you know it's almost gone. Wait till Q gets back,
Wait till wait till I gave this hard time.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
You know what we're gonna do. Just lay back the
first segment and let just let him go the first segment.
How about first show, Just yell from the back headington
read and make him do all the work. Yeah, yeah,
first show back, he's doing the whole show, whole show,
the whole entire show and teaser welcome back into the show.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Take it queue, yep. Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
And then you and I will have ribs. Yeah, well,
just you didn't try any of them though, so you
didn't let me have any. I tried to on the
way out LeVar, and he grabbed it and said, you
lost your chances, kissed my ass and told me to
walk out the front door with no ribs. So very
very unfortunate it is. We are back here and we're

(04:09):
gonna have some fun. And again it's a three hour extravaganza.
And the three hour extravaganza starts and just the perfect
way possible for the National Football League. This is just
a wonderful story. Finally we got something here. A gambling
scandal Matt Reabkowski, and if I screwed his name up,

(04:36):
I apologize of Sportshandle dot com, he says, And he
reported on this that the NFL is investigating a Colts
player for gambling. Now, ESPN was reporting yesterday that the
player involved is cornerback Slash kick returner Isaiah Rogers, and

(04:58):
then Isaiah Rogerson self confirmed, yes, it's me that may
have a gambling problem. Oh and so here is the
details of this report according to ESPN and against again
Sportshandle dot com, who are all over this and did
a great job on it. The sports betting account was
opened under the name of an associate of Rogers. There

(05:21):
were approximately one hundred bets placed with the account, including
on Colts games. Most of the bets were in the
twenty five to fifty dollars range, but at least one
was a four figure bet. Now, the statement from Isaiah
Rodgers himself on social media said the following quote, addressing
the current reports, I want to take full responsibility for

(05:42):
my actions. I know I have made mistakes, and I'm
willing to do whatever it takes to repair the situation.
The last thing I ever wanted to do was to
be a distraction to the Colts organization, my coaches, and
my teammates. I've let people down that I care about.
I made an error judgment, and I'm going to work
hard to make sure that the those mistakes are rectified
through the process. It's an honor to play in the NFL,

(06:05):
and I have never taken that lightly. I am very
sorry for all of this. End of statement for Isaiah Rogers.
So it's the second time Aye Rogers has been in
the news this offseason. One is now a jet and
the other one apparently is on the set of Casino
just making bets, placing wagers. Now, now we're talking. Okay,

(06:26):
enough of this rinky dink seventeen parlays stories, enough of
these college football bets that guys got popped for.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
This dude is gambling. He's in it to win it
and to win it. Don't sound like he's betting that
much though.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Twenty five to fifty bucks For me, it's not a
lot of I would shut the lights off for three
hours to make sure I had enough money in the account.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Oh my gosh, to try and get a bet in.
I know what you make.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
But here's here's the part that I would like to
point out here. First of all, I blame the NFL.
I think the NFL and we could say, look, you
got to be accountable for your actions, and I get
all that, But the NFL has some fault in this
as well too, because the NFL wanted to get in
the gambling world, because the NFL saw the money that
they could be making and realize, oh, let's get into it,
and they didn't do a good enough job buttoning up

(07:17):
what could be the potential pitfalls for some of these
players who now have access to a gambling account and
don't realize, hey, maybe I shouldn't be doing this, Maybe
this is a bad look, Maybe this is illegal. Maybe
I should read instructions and read the warnings and all
the other things that come along with us accepting this
into our league from the players Association, etc.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Etc.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
So I blame the NFL in that regard. Here's also
why I blame the National Football League for Isaiah Rodgers
getting popped for placing one hundred bets, some of which
may have been on the Colts reportedly, and one four
figure bet. He is also a kick returner, and with
what they've done to kick off.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, in the thousand.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
I mean, if what they've done to kickoffs is any
indication as to how they care about the position and
what's going to happen.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
He's trying to supplement his end. He's trying to make
some money on the side.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, So the NFL deserves full responsibility and full blame
for what happened here with Isaiah Rodgers. Okay, because now
what you have done to kickoffs, you've eliminated a great
just a positional a position in the league, something that's
got value. You've eliminated something that lets everybody know, hey,

(08:35):
the games underway, the games starting, they're trying to take
that away from everybody. And now this guy's trying to
make a little bit extra cash on the side. They've
crippled one of the great moments in the NFL, and
now you've got guys who have to open up gambling
accounts to try and make ends meet. I blame the NFL.
No suspension for Isaiah Rodgers here.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Oh what a great rant there like that? You know
what I mean, he's a great run. I'm trying to
defend the guy here. Let me ask you this. You
said he did it in second person like a second party. Yeah,
he had an associate to it. Okay, So my first
question is what flagged if he had an associate doing it,

(09:15):
what was flagged? Because I sure enough said us an associate,
So let's start there. How was he flagged for doing
this through an associate.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
That we are waiting to find out the details on, okay,
because there has to be something here where it was
egregious enough for an investigation to be started, especially if
a dude is betting twenty five and fifty dollars. Yeah, like,
there's got to be something more to it than twenty

(09:44):
five and fifty dollars and maybe a few or one
that was one thousand dollars over one thousand dollars. And
the way the story came out because remember we were here,
because when you had the players who got popped from
the Lions and from the and then this report came
out like last week that the NFL was investigating another

(10:06):
gambling scandal and we didn't get the details. And then
the way this story came out, Oh it's a Colts player.
We think we know who the player is, and then
the player comes out without getting any of the details
out of the story. To defend himself. This feels like,
in all seriousness that this one's a little bit more

(10:27):
severe than maybe the Calvin Ridley and some of these
other gambling stories have been with the NFL.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
But again, I'm trying to understand, how is it more
How is it more serious? Like if you're betting fifty
dollars every week on the colts, is that what makes
it serious? In nature? What makes because to me, the
amount is so minuscule, Like are you saying, okay, this

(10:57):
is maybe he's done that under over multiple accounts, multiple people,
multiple other second party people. What makes this? And listen,
gambling on on your own team is like, you're a degenerate, Like,
I don't care if it's five dollars, you're a degenerate.

(11:18):
If you're if you're dumb enough, even if you're dumb
enough to bet on your own team, you're dumb like
you are, like, let's just start there. You are a dummy.
But with that being said, if that's the case, if
that's what, if that's what this investigation is. Again, I

(11:38):
just want to understand what, Like that's not enough money
where you be like, there's no way this second party
would have been able to to make this beat. So
how do you create a correlation between Isaiah Rogers and
the second party for gambling? What triggered this off? What

(11:59):
may matter? That's what I really want to know.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
It could be And and this is all speculation because
I think as the way this story is gone, we're
going to get more of the details that come out
throughout the next few days, and this will open up
another avenue or another pathway to how players can possibly bet.
But I think what's my guess would be that they

(12:24):
somehow talked with that Maybe there was an an address
that was used, or maybe there was an email account
associated to it. But whatever the case may be, I
think the worst the worst case scenario for the NFL
in this story is if it got flagged because this
person was making bets on certain aspects of a Colt's

(12:48):
game that were that direct by him that only you
know if you've got intel on the team. Yeah, that's
where this could get ugly for the NFL. But you've
been on this from the start. Why are you doing
it yourself? I mean it's dumb. The Chris Carter fall
guy thing does apply here. If you really want to
get a bed in, find somebody else. To do it,

(13:10):
and now somebody else did it, and so you wait
to see whether or not somebody shot their mouth off
a teammate reported it to somebody. The Colts have already
acknowledged that they are aware of the investigation and they're
going to be looking into it. But this is where
the NFL opened this whole thing up and open up
this world to the league without really doing their due

(13:32):
diligence to find out. Hey, this is where this could
be a problem. This is what guys could do if
this were the case, and a lot of these guys,
I truly don't believe that a lot of these guys
realize that they're doing anything wrong.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I truly believe that.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Like Calvin Ridley bet on some Falcons games, but the
way he did it were parlays, And I could see
Calvin Ridley saying to himself, listen, I'm sitting at home.
I'm trying to get my head together. I got a
lot of stuff going on in my life.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
There's a take a break from life and go ahead
and just throw a little gambled down, a little parlay down.
But when you place a parlay, that's a that's bogus.
But when you place a parlay.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
You go on to your gambling app, and anybody listened
to this knows what I'm talking about. You go onto
your gambling app and you go, all right, so who's
playing this week?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I like?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Okay, I like the I like the Lions here, Oh
my Falcons are playing. I definitely think they're gonna win.
I like this team, this team, this team. You make
a bunch of bets and then you bet the parlay
and they all need to hit in order for you
to win. To me, that doesn't feel as drastic as
at least one hundred different bets from an account. Yes,

(14:45):
only twenty five to fifty dollars, but one in the
four figure range. And without a doubt on your own team.
That feels a lot worse than somebody going on saying, yeah,
I think these seven teams are going to win in
this bet in this week, and this is my pick
for the week. Like that, this feels like it's got
a little darker vibe.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
To it that's been attached to it. The moment they
said he was betting on his own team. That's that's
that's the red flag. That's the all the way red flag.
Because you can draw whatever conclusion you'd like to draw
from it, like that's that's really what it comes down to.
What the details of it is, how it was flagged?
I would like to know. I would that to me

(15:27):
is the juiciest part of this story, because it's not
enough money involved for it to really matter. It's not
like this dude was clocking clocking cash like he was
making six figured, you know, bets on on games that
he was playing in, Like that's he's a six round
draft pick. He probably doesn't have very much money, and

(15:50):
in the final year of his four year deal, he
probably doesn't have very much money. And and so in
the end, what trigger this? What? What stimulated? What? What?
What set off the alarm to go investigate a twenty
five to fifty dollars betting dude? And now it becomes

(16:11):
an investigation, Now it becomes public domain, Now it's being
discussed over media platforms and and people are left to
try to draw conclusions. What what was the reasoning behind
this for such small bets? That's what I would like
to know, because there's something more here, ye feeling like that,

(16:31):
And maybe maybe the more here is it wasn't more
other than if he got away with doing it, other
guys might start doing bigger bets on their own teams.
If if somebody out there has found the loophole and
is making money off of making bets on their own team,

(16:52):
the NFL could be you know, if they get caught
up that that could be a very very bad look.
I mean, we've had that conversation multiple times on this show.
That could be a bad look. If somebody thinks that
they can start making those types of bets and be
able to get away with it and find figure out

(17:13):
the loophole, then the NFL runs the risk of having
a serious situation. So maybe that's the reason why. Maybe
it's just as simple as that is that you're talking
about a guy that wasn't egregious in the amount of
money that he was spending on these bets, but nonetheless
he was betting on his own team, and that that

(17:35):
in itself is in nature, like it's serious in nature
to be betting on on the NFL and you're in
the NFL. It's crazy, dumb, stupid, ridiculously boneheaded to be
betting I don't care a dollar on the team that
you play on. That's what's bad. That's what's really bad.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
And by the way, if you are an NFL player
and you want to play some bets, dude, just let
me do it for you. Let me come on, let
me do it for you, because I could use a win,
all right. I could use any sort of win that
I could get. So you've got intel on your own team,
Just hit me up and I'll place.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
The bet for you. That's the way this has got
to work. I mean, you know what I mean Like
this probably you know the more I keep thinking about it.
If you start getting into betting money and stuff like that,
I mean, who's to say that you get that money
to somebody to bet for you and they don't keep
it and then hold it over your head. Like look here, man,
you're risking your career for this. I mean, do you

(18:33):
want me to snitch? Yeah, you want me to turn
you in? Like, just take this, l I'm gonna take this,
this this five million dollars that you made, and we're
just gonna keep it moving.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
What if it comes out that he started betting against
the Colts the second Jeff Saturday took over as head coach.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Then he should get he he should get a break. Yeah,
he should get your extension. He should get a warning
to your extension.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
I used to get a one to tell you, guys,
I opened up a gambling account for this.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Everybody was betty to against the Colts except me be
the one the first game. Yes, he did. He went
on vacation. It was like, Hey, I got a win
as a coach and I'm good.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Here it is two pros and a cup of Joe
here on Fox Sports Radio, Tavar Arrington Jonas Knox with

Speaker 4 (20:11):

Speaker 3 (20:12):

R coming up an hour two. We've also got to
the same old fun stuff that we like to do
here on a Tuesday morning, and it's all yours until
nine am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. But coming up next,
we could see a big return in the NFL. One

(20:59):
of more popular players for one team over the past
several years could be on his way back, and we'll
get into those details for you. That's next.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here, come it up.
We'll call it a little over fifteen minutes from now
We've got some good news for somebody on this show.
They have started a trend, a major trend in the
world of sports, and that'll be yours. A little over
fifteen minutes from now here on FSR, SO LaVar Arrington,

(21:43):
we have some good news for you here as we
embark on segment two of the show.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Here what you got.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Jerry Jones and Ezekiel Elliott, the relationship that Will Not
End has come to an end, if you all, because
apparently Jerry Jones is not ruling out bringing Ezekiel Elliott back.
He has said they would be open to it. The
potential of Zeke being a Dallas cowboy agan is a
real thing. Obviously, he would take significantly less than he

(22:11):
was making, which is part of the reason why they
cut him to begin with. You know, they gave the
franchise tag to Tony Pollard, which is a little over
ten million dollars.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Ye, nobody came or running after for him.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, And so there was some thought that maybe the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be a landing spot there. Running
back coach at the time said, you know, Zeke needs
to understand it with the price tag and what he's
going to play for is a lot different than what
he was making in the past. There was also some
speculation that maybe the Philadelphia Eagles could be a landing spot.
That was a couple of months ago, but here we are,

(22:43):
it's already June. Zeke is still on the open market,
and Jerry Jones is saying that they would be open
to bringing him back if Zeke would like to come
back and be a Dallas Cowboy for significantly less than
what he made last year.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
So just probably the most sensible situation for him, just
knowing where he's at in his career, there probably could
be a better opportunity, a better option for him out
there with a different team. I really am convinced, and

(23:16):
I know I kind of sound like kind of a
detractor of Dallas and maybe there is a little bit
of some cynical type of feels towards it or just
not pure purely an analyst and saying some of the
things I say. But I don't feel like I'm disingenuous
when I talk about Dallas. I don't feel like at

(23:39):
this point, being as you know, retired as long as
I've been, the things that I say are based off
of me not liking Dallas personally. I just don't think
they are currently built to be able to be competitive
for Super Bowl. I just don't. I think we've seen

(24:02):
what their ultimate potential level is. I think we've seen
what Dak's ultimate potential level can be. And I think
this team can only go so far. Their defense can
only do so much, and under Dak's quarterback quarterbacking position

(24:23):
him at the position, I think they can only go
so far. And so if I'm Ezekiel Elliott, if I'm
not embracing or harboring the personal feelings of just being
with I think him and Dak are really really close
friends from watching twenty four to seven or whatever, but
just the relationships, if it's relationally driven, then it's a

(24:47):
great decision. It's a great move. If it's professionally driven,
it's a great move because he's a in some regards,
he's a historical He's a legendary player for that franchise.
I mean he was one of the best running backs
in the league earlier on. I mean somewhold would debate,

(25:08):
you know, maybe Todd Gurley, But for what it's worth,
Ezekiel Elliott made a strong case that he was the
best running back in the National Football League early on.
So listen, can he go somewhere else where he has
a better opportunity of winning even if it's a lesser role.
He's going to have a lesser role wherever he's at,
including Dallas. So I think you make the decision based

(25:32):
off of the factors that I just listed, and you
made your money. So if you just feel okay with
being a part of the team doing your thing, then
go back to Dallas. If you're thinking that you want
to get a Super Bowl and you may want to
play with a team that is more competitive, you're going
to have a limited role anyway, So just be okay

(25:54):
and be prepared to take lesser money and have a
lesser role and embrace that role on your way to
getting a super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
It's wild to think he's only twenty seven just to
think about where he was at in the league when
he because he wasn't one of those guys that came
in and well it took a year or two for
him to find his groove. He came in and was
off and running right away, like that first year when
him and Dak were rookies. And if you go back
and you look at it, and the idea that in

(26:22):
that moment, that was their best chance to get to
a super Bowl when they lost to Green Bay when
they had the bye and then hosted Green Bay in
the playoff game, when Dak and Zeke were rookies, they
were favored in that game. They were second in the
Super Bowl odds at that moment in the playoffs, next

(26:43):
to the New England Patriots. And then to see what
ended up happening in that game, Aaron Rodgers with some
incredible throws, Mason Crosby with a couple of fifty yard
field goals, our friends in Green.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Bay, I know remember that game fondly.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Just to see how they lost that game and never
that close again. And that was their rookie year. And
you know, Jerry Jones probably thought to himself, Hey, we lost.
It's heartbreaking, but at least we've got the guys that
are gonna be foundational pieces for the organization and they're
gonna get us to this point again.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
And here we are.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Zeke's twenty seven, he's no longer a cowboy, and we're
talking about Yeah, there's no chance for them now. I
happen to believe that Dallas has a chance just based
on the NFC. I think they're a live dog when
it comes to the NFC East if Philadelphia takes any
sort of a step back whatsoever.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
No way but to think when ze got better, Yeah,
I digals got better this offseason. They didn't just they
didn't just play better this year. They got better this offseason.
You could assume that the Eagles are going to be
a step above what they've been even in years past.

(27:56):
Last year in particular, I would not assume any any
type of going backwards with the Eagles anytime soon, not
not with this current personnel group.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Let me ask you this, do you think Zeke is
in f U mode to the Dallas Cowboys right now?

Speaker 3 (28:15):
I don't know that he's in a position to be
in mode.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Because and I was. That's that's why I bring up
the question. I mean, he did get paid. It's it's
not like they you know, they jerked him around and
you know, I mean, yeah, he got to hang out
in Cabo, and he was never the same player once
he finally got paid. What's that place called Mango Mango.
What's that place in Cabo called Mango Deck? Yeah, Mango
dech have fun with that name, but like you.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
See fun with that place? Yeah, with that of Google importantly. Yeah, well,
hoping to go next week. But the point is, like
you see, I mean never coming back. He got paid.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
It's not like he had a contentious relationship with him
even towards the end. I mean, they've been nothing but
positive feedback about Zeke and his time there and everything
that came along with it. But I just wonder if
he looks at this and says, oh, really, screw you.
Of all the places, I'm definitely not going there, I'd
rather go play in Philly or the Giants or the

(29:12):
Commanders and make sure I get to see you guys
twice a year. I just wonder what his mindset is
going into this offseason.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
I don't know the personal makings of how they came
to the you know table with Zeke when they let
him go. He had to have been knowing the handwriting
was on the wall. Tony Pollard has been the more
productive running back. Tony Pollard has been the bigger play
running back. Tony Pollard has been the number one running back,

(29:42):
should have been the number one running back if he
wasn't considered that for multiple seasons now, and so you
had to know that that was coming. I don't. I
just don't feel like you should have hard feelings when
you clearly weren't even the best player on your team
at the point time that they let you go, Like
you weren't the best running back. You weren't the best

(30:04):
person at your position on the team. And that's not
throwing shade, that's the truth. It's just the truth. It's
been like that for a couple of years. And so
you got to accept that reality that this guy, you know,
I got my money, Thank god, I got my money
before Tony Pollard came in here messing up, messing up
what I got going on. But you had to have
known that you weren't you weren't worth the check that

(30:28):
you were getting. Once Tony Pollard came in and became
that person for the team. So I can't see how
the feelings would be so hard. They let you go,
even after letting the offensive coordinator that was making the
play call. So even if you wanted to relate it to,
you know, Kellen Moore, might it not have been my guy?

(30:49):
We might have not have been on the same page.
So now with Mike McCarthy calling the plays, maybe I
should be in a better position. No, they still let
you go. They still released you. So if i'm if
I'm Ezekiel Elliott, I'm thinking to myself, I fit nicely

(31:09):
into the different packages. What does that look like now
with Mike McCarthy calling the plays? Do I have a
few more opportunities? I mean, he had great opportunities and
short yardage downs, you know, different reserve reserve duties, and
he seemed to do well in those those situations. I

(31:30):
would not think that he would be closed off to
that being the best opportunity after after seeing what's out
there on the market, and if it doesn't, if it's
not a team, or if it's not a contract, that
would say this is a no brainer. This is where
I'm going, This is what I'm going to do, why
wouldn't you return back to Dallas?

Speaker 1 (31:51):
And also, I mean from you know, on the flip
side the story line to this, if he did decide
I want to go play for somebody else in the division,
seeing the Dallas Cowboys twice, I know Chad Pennington did that.
He went and played for the Dolphins after he played
all those years with the Jets.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
That Chad Pennington. I think it's because they have natural
grass in Miami. You know, I don't think they have
natural grass in Dallas, do they?

Speaker 2 (32:16):
No?

Speaker 3 (32:16):
I don't think so. Yeah, I think it's turf. And
speaking of turf, artificial turf on football fields, it causes
thirty two percent more non contact knee injuries. Didn't Zeke
get hurt? Yeah he got hurt, right, Yeah, problems dealing
with some injuries. Yeah, it might have been that official turf,
that artificial turf that is American Grass Sea Company. Pennington

(32:37):
is on a mission to ban. Yeah, they're trying to
ban those turf fields with their hashtag flip the Turf movement.
So go to pennington dot com slash flip the Turf
now to learn more and sign the petition for teams
to hashtag flip the turf to real grass. See how
natural that was? We're bad, man, Yeah, it was pretty good.
It was good yesterday though, Lie, I've heard some stuff

(33:01):
I don't know, but again, I don't want to. I
got a lot of brave reviews yesterday, man, I don't
want to. And on Friday those like Man, those are
like the best shows that we've heard since since the
show has started. I was like, how is that? You know?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
For that we turn it over to our executive producer
Lead Digital app good morning everybody.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
Well, because we have LeVar here, so that's who you
hear right there. That's right LeVar a college football Hall
of Famer. And in case you missed this, we had
to do this story and the National Football Foundation released
the ballot for the College Hall of Fame. It includes
over one hundred and one players thirty two coaches. Those

(35:22):
include Michael Vick, Larry Fitzgerald, Terrell Suggs, and three Nitney Lions.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, who are there? We are Johanna puzz Lesnie and
DJ does your Deeke? That's man I grew up on
Deeke Man. Thank you, Johnna Carter. Those are three names,
especially Zeke or a Deke and uh, thank you John.
I don't know how they're not in. And I don't

(35:47):
know how Courtney Brown isn't on the ballot. Yeah, I
just that's that's a that's a mind blower. But you
know it was it didn't Puzzle puzz have he was
there one time? Only one? How the hell is he
now he's the only one to not to win the
Baneric two times in a row. That that he out
did me on that one? Is that not the buckets

(36:10):
the Beaneric, which is the best. For what it's worth,
the Beaneric might should be considered the bigger award because
that's the defensive Player of the year. Buckets is just
the linebacker. But I mean to get line to get
the Buckets at linebacker, you is that's you know, you've
made it. I just I don't understand how the hell

(36:31):
he's not in okay, Like, what's taking so long? What
what are we waiting on here? I mean, he can't
go back and play. Was a part of undefeated season
and probably should have won the Heisman. I mean, shouts
out to my, my, my, h my, my Hall of
Fame mate Raussan Salon rest easy and and they won.

(36:54):
They want that, you know, DJ Doser he's part of that.
That uh the Fiesta Bowl with the Miami Miami Hurricane.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
So PUZZLESNI won two time Begged Eric Award, Like you said, yeah,
won Buckus Award, two time Consensus All American. That's easy.
Two times he's gonna get in. Yeah, that's a point
that seems like a no brainer.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Yeah, that's easy. We are, baby. Look at the trend
you started. You get in now it's all rolling out. Yeah, man,
that'd be nice. It'd be nice. To see at least
one of them get in this year. That'd be crazy.
If two went in, that'd be crazy. Yeah, Penn State, Baby,
what else we got guys?

Speaker 6 (37:33):
In case you missed it, the Bills had their groundbreaking
ceremony yesterday for their new one point five to four
billion dollars stadium. GM Brandon Bean announced during the event
that they will, after fifty years, be changing over from
artificial turf over to grass.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Shouts out Pennington.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Yeah you hear that, Pennington talk about having some influence fail.
Look at you.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
You're you're getting the Bills to turn away fifty years
of history and go natural grass. Now we got three.
We are Penn Staters. Get ready to go to the
College Football Hall of Fame possibly, come on, man. I
also like how the Bills just said, you know, if
we did a dome, maybe we could have some bigger

(38:18):
events here, like maybe an outside shot for a Super Bowl,
and they just said, screw it, We're gonna stick with
what we do.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
We're keeping it open air.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
We're going to open this bad boy up and our
fans are still going to jump through tables. They're gonna
get squirted with hines and frenches. Mustard and then next
thing you know, we're gonna be kicking off and it's
gonna look just like a Bills game.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
No special bells and whistles.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
None of that stuff. And we're doing it on natural grass.
How's that natural grass gonna feel when it.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Snows like a brick? Like a brick? That could be
a problem. We've got time for one more.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
No, the one I was gonna give you is gonna
be too much to unpack.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yep, let's go to Bert you know, think soly?

Speaker 4 (39:01):
Nope, don't think so.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Come on Sweden, though probably probably better not for this
time slot, you think about it.
