Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks. Coming up on this
Thursday edition, we are going to take a special look
ahead to Thursday Night Football. First of all, it's a
special edition. It's a debut on Amazon, but there's some
people that are gonna have a problem with it. Also,
we've got injuries already playing a major factor in this game,
(00:21):
and we're gonna take a look at some over unders
as we get set for a battle in the a
f C West. We're gonna talk about a couple of
quarterbacks making news and notes around the NFL. One quarterback
is shutting down all mentions of a contract. Another quarterback
is talking about how many hits he's taking. The Great
Albert Brier is gonna stop by. We're gonna have another
edition of Incasia missed it and it's all yours coming
(00:41):
up next here, Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
on a Thursday, Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox
Sports Radio. Yeah yeah, yeah, throw him Bert. Those are
(01:08):
moose andlers. Come up. It is two Pros, a cup
of Joe. Fox Sports Radio, Slavar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
knocks with you here. You can hang out with us
as always on the I Heart Radio app. You can

Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific right here as Week two
of the NFL is fast approaching later on tonight, and
we do it all live from the ti irac dot
com studios. Ti irac dot com will help you get
there and unmatched election fast, free shipping, free road hazard
protection and over ten thousand recommended installers tire iraq dot
(01:52):
com the way tire buying should be. How we feeling
here on a Thursday? Thirsty Thursday? Thirsty Thursday? Isn't that
what they call it? A lot of places, I think
a lot of college towns. Yeah, well you're gonna be
in uh Lincoln, so you're gonna that's a Is that
a big college town or is there a lot of
that's a big college town. They're thirsty for a new
(02:13):
head coach. I mean, come on, now, you think they
missed bo poliniat or no, I think that's no. Okay,
win nine and nine and ten wins seems pretty nice
consistently right about now. They're bad at all for any program,
(02:35):
right right? Um, Hey, we got a good game coming
up later on tonight Week two with the Chargers at
the Chiefs. They've repainted the field there in Kansas City,
the place used to play Brady. They're going all the
way back vintage. I think they're celebrating with the fifty
year anniversary, and so they're gonna they're gonna do it
up nicely, and we're gonna get it all on on
(02:57):
a streaming service, which a lot of people will be
very confused as to where to find it on. So
don't you miss the days where you can just turn
on the television and just go to one of the
channels and it's right then and there, it's right there.
I'm more surprised that they couldn't find a way of
making both work, Like you couldn't find a broadcast partner
who's gonna put on your traditional you know, TV cable whatever,
(03:22):
and you couldn't find also the ability to stream and
work both ends of it. Because we're just not there yet.
I mean. I was talking with a buddy across the street.
He's like, Yeah, my dad's a huge football fan. Problem
is he's not gonna be able to find the damn
game because he can't still is not a stream He
doesn't even know what that means. And I'm sure there's
a lot of people who fall in that category. So
by my other great with this whole situation. Besides it's
(03:43):
only offered streaming. Is it's week two and we're already
getting this matchup like on a short week, these two teams,
which you know largely may end up biding for the division.
It's just it's a little soon, Like I wish they
put this push this back another week maybe two, before
we get so a huge monumental game that means so much,
(04:03):
and then doing so in a short week, you know,
I just I feel like it plays a pretty big
advantage to Kansas City, given how the short weeks have
worked out for the home team versuit the awaits them historically. Yeah,
I guess I would just say that's probably the same
thing people said when cell phones became available. It's like,
you know, you you just gotta learn what what it's
(04:26):
all about and how they work. And then it kept evolving,
and then it kept evolving, and then it just became normal,
Like it's normal to have a cell phone. There was
a time where it was like, man, you grab your
cell phone because it's an emergency. Like that's it, you
know what I mean, Like that's what streaming is. Streaming
is one of those deals where you know, if you're watching,
(04:47):
first of all, maybe the target consumer that they're going
after is is that's where they are. They're they're on
mobile devices. It's it's the weirdest thing. Like I'm in
the big screen TVs. I'm still in the big screen TV.
That's awesome. But but you see guys that are in college.
I've seen this with guys that are new pros. I've
(05:09):
seen this with college guys. I've seen this with high
school guys. And they use their devices like they're using tablets,
they're using their cell phones, They're they're watching movies Like
I'm like, how do you watch a movie on a
small ass phone screen? Like that's weird to me. They
got their earbuds. I love my earbuds. I love my phone,
(05:31):
I love my devices. Where I watched my stuff. The
people that are going to usher those older people that
don't like technology or resistant to technology, they're going to
they're going to adapt, and they're going to adjust like
anything else, no different than the cell phone. But as
it applies to I guess looking at the matchup, I mean,
(05:53):
I look at like this. If you're gonna get people
to try to find the game, it ain't going to
be a Jacksonville Games. I'm sorry, it's not. It's not
going to be a Detroit Lion game that's going to
get people to want to try to figure out where
the hell do I go to find this game. It's
going to be a game of a magnitude to get
(06:13):
started off with of this type of mass proportion of
two very very promising teams with some big personalities connected
to the game. I just think, to Brady's point, I
wish there was a little bit of a grace period,
sort of a transitional period that if you wanted to
do it for one year a starting next year, Amazon
Prime is going to be the exclusive holder of it.
And I think they might have done that a little
(06:34):
bit last year, did they? I think I think they
might have done some games last year like that. It's
just the NFL network can't roll out aside broadcast. Yeah,
so that was kind of the thoughts of it is
is you would have a roll out of a streaming
service like Amazon with the NFL network providing it for
a cable standpoint. And here's the thing is if like LaVar,
if your point is true, and like you, you're going
(06:55):
for the younger demographic that's purely streaming, and you're not
really in conflict with one another, right because football fans
who are consuming their football via streaming, they're streaming and
those who have it your traditional you know, broadcast networks
or cable channels, you're consuming it that way too. I mean,
if you go back and look at the streaming numbers
for Texas Alabama, that was as big as we as
(07:18):
we've ever seen for Fox and I think it was
half a million people, Like, that's it. Half a million.
The game itself on Fox broadcast did over ten point
five million, and I think I got a peaked number
of fifteen million. So you look at the difference between
those two, Yeah, you're leaving a lot of viewership on
the table, There's no doubt about it, Like just a
(07:40):
cater to one group that's gonna stream, Like we're not
there yet as a culture, as a society. But you know,
if you're gonna pay you a billion bucks a year,
which I believe the Amazon, there's the key right there.
But the problem is, that's fine if Amazon wants to
do that. If I was Amazon, though, you're basically wasting
money because you're not going to get the type of
(08:00):
viewership that you need to you to earn back that
revenue through your advertisers, etcetera. You should probably sell half
of that back and see if you can't find a
partner that's able to stream it through some other platform,
through your normal broadcast network, you know what I'm saying.
I mean, it just it seems like it's a lot
of money for a day and a time that Fox tried,
didn't work, CBS tried, didn't work. I mean, all these
(08:23):
networks have tried it and they're like, yeah, just didn't
really work out, didn't make a lot of financial sense.
And now you've got Amazon because it's a behemoth, and
Jeff Bezos is taking his you know, rockets that look
like you know, some guy's garden hose up into space.
I'll just spend money on this, you know. Yeah, it's
looks fun. This looks cool. You guys want to take
a ridlet by rocket on Thursday Football. A little crank
(08:45):
joke here, I mean it hits. It's his crank shuttle.
That's when he takes up in space and he's he's
probably watching Thursday Night Football from space in his crank shuttle.
That's how he's consuming he's watching those little phone secret
you imagine. That's like a giveaway each year Amazon is
a giveaway where you're a one lucky fan the week
(09:07):
sixteen matchup can watch it from the crank shuttle in space.
To be phenomenal, people want to do it. I don't mind.
I don't mind watching a game on a streaming device
if I have to. Like the end of Monday Night Football.
I watched the end of that because my wife and
I we had to go to a little gathering for
a family. So on the way back, I watched it
(09:28):
in the back seat of the car. Yeah, just you know,
there's some some stuff. They had a loss in the family.
I'll put it that way, so we'll leave it there.
And so we had to go to a little bit
of a gathering like a prayer service, and we left
and I watched the end of it on on my phone,
but I liked having the option to do that, knowing
if I get home and the game's still going on,
I'm going straight to the TV because I'm like LaVar,
(09:49):
I want a big screen. I want to be able
to watch it. I like the experience of it. Like
I'm listening. Yeah, I want to hear the the pads crack. Yeah,
I want to hear the spit just go out of
their mouth and absolute tattooed. No, I want to. I
want to. I want to make sure that I'm getting
the full experience what was in the car. I didn't
(10:11):
do it in the church, Burdo, for Christ's sake, Like
you act like I'm watching the Seahawks Broncos game in
church while they're doing a prayer, you know. I mean,
I might have stuck a peak or two, but listen,
I'm not gonna be fee. It's probably experience. I mean,
only the only audience that Russell was watching was there
with Jonas. But by the way, did you see I
(10:36):
know we're going to get into the to Russell Wilson's
comments about the final sequences of that game, but did
you see the TikTok video of him going around. I
don't know if it's current, but there's one that's making
the rounds now that's unbelievably cheesy. And I'm starting to
think he's doing this intentionally. I really am. I'm starting
(10:56):
to think that he's doing it intentionally because he knows
that it irritates some people about how corny he is
when it comes to some of the videos he posts.
Do you think Unlimited was bad? Look up this s
ob on social media if you can and see if
you can find Russell Wilson's latest TikTok. It is shockingly uncomfortable.
Is it the one one he's like kind of pointing
(11:16):
the remote like I care a lot, like all the
things he cares about. With the Faith No More song,
it's Faith No More. If you were probably wondering what
the song was, it's Faith No More. I can know
what the song was. I just want to let you know,
let you know what it isn't that video? Yeah you should?
Did you check it out? Your question? A lot of
things kind of like Sam in the pot, I kind
(11:40):
of I kind of checked out after the signing suit
you're out on. After the suit, it was like it's
like you're going to a game and and listen while
I understand the idea of exercising your fashion uh expressions
(12:01):
so to speak, Um, shiny shoes like shiny like go
to the prom or go to a formal shoes shiny suit,
which I don't know what a fair that is, you know,
kind of like, oh yeah, we're that shiny suit tonight.
I don't know what a fair of that is. Maybe
it's like an awards dinner or a banquet of some sort.
(12:22):
I don't I don't know. And then the boat tie
and and and here's here's what I'm gonna say. It's
going like really really and it might be personal, I
don't know. But and then the walk it's like the
way he was walking into the like the way the
cameras oh man like like you're like he was on
the red carpet. And and maybe that's what it is.
(12:43):
I mean, there may be a plan connected to what
Russell Wilson is doing. And it may not even be
football related, you know, it's like brand related or fashion related.
I'll say this much though. You put a tie on
with that outfit, like I'm Rod, you know, let's Rod.
But what of just a black top? I think a
(13:05):
black top. Let's let's rod, but you put on that
boat side. It's like that. I can get with it too,
and let's go three to four buttons down. You understand
you have to go with a tie when you wear
a suit that's colored and shiny like that just too shiny,
because if you go just a white shirt, it's just
like what are you doing? You know? I mean, if
(13:27):
you're gonna go for the look, you gotta go all
in with the shoes and everything else. But if you're
if you can't. Everything was shiny, That's what I'm saying.
It was like Jonas and go three buttons down into
like three three three buttons down, just so much. It
was just so much shiny. What do you what do you? Mormon?
(13:47):
Three buttons down? Come on, pal, you know that's a
great football player. You know. I know I've been great.
You know I will be great and I'll continue to
be great. It's just a humble guy. Man. I don't
know why you can't just be humble. The guy shows up,
Jonas hates him. You just want to know I didn't
dressed as a Christmas. I want to crate the guy.
You self. Affirmation is good, but God, man, that's shiny ass.
(14:07):
Suit was not a good look. That's all I'm gonna say.
I think it was a miss. And like what color
was it? Like, was it rose? I mean was it?
It is Thursday and we're still talking about it. Think
about three days later, we're still talking about that was
the objective. See there you go. Roberto is a little
bit perplexed at the you know, the hand placement of
Geno Smith in a video that's making the rounds. That
(14:30):
was a hard time. I'm just saying, like he's you know,
he's brought that up like that was the the other quarterback,
another four player like that Lavaria as Brady, that's more
of like a I mean Brady put his hands the
center shot of him. It was a good one's ass
or something like, yeah, look handful you could you could
stop a photo of a bunch of different compromises. That
(14:50):
is true, easy now. But I don't think I've ever
cut an ass when I was slapping. That's slapped a
ton of asses. It could be the angle, it could
be the way like his hand was just shaped at
that point, like if you never know if if you've
got your hand on another guy's ass and it looks
like you're you're picking up a case of beer. If
(15:11):
it looks like you're picking up a case of beer
and you're grabbing somebody's ass, that's a problem. It's just
it's weird. It's like picking up like a twelve pack
of beer. He's got a whole handful of ass. You know. Look,
maybe they're just more more like like like Greek men.
You know, Greek men have a little a lot of
close relationships like you do, much more friendly with one
of the cultural thing you wouldn't know about that they share.
(15:34):
Do Petros is Greek? You know how friendly he is.
That's what I'm saying. That's Petros about it. There's a
joke that goes along with that. I'm not gonna say
what that joke is though, but it's about Greeks and Italians.
All right, we'll do that alone. I mean, Berto, can
you mean that's what we're gonna? Let that fly here?
Thank you? Well, I'm just saying, um, well, hey, so
(15:57):
it's gonna be a great game coming up later on
at night. And that's how you you stick the landing
here on a Thursday football preview. All right, it is
two pros and a cup of Joe, and we are
brought to you by Discover. We could talk about how
complicated other banks make it to redeem credit card rewards,
or we can talk about how we discover you can
redeem your rewards for cash in any amount at any time.
I mean talk about amazing learn more discover dot com
(16:19):
slash redeem rewards terms apply. So we're gonna have another
edition of incase you mistic coming up later on. We
are also going to have some over unders as we
take a look ahead till later on tonight, and the
Great Albert Brier is going to stop by all of
it in this three hour extravaganza coming up next though
here from the tire Rack dot Com Studios, you've got
one quarterback in the NFL who has decided he's going
(16:42):
to take a different approach. He's going to take a
different approach to what you saw in week one. We'll
have that for you next here on fs are Yeah, yes,
you already know, man, you already the shamrocks of Dublin. Man,
(17:07):
that's the sound I used to make when I ran,
and I felt like if I could move as quickly
as the noise that I was making, then I'd be
moving really fast. This isn't a smoke control car. It
feels like bad breath control. Though you want to be
breath control. I mean, just think about this though humid, hot,
(17:28):
sweaty temperature cranked up to like one ten in the
weight room for the shamrocks of Dublin. Coffman, cuff your fingers,
get it up in the crease and the crack of
it and the crevice of it. You got. You got
the starting quarterback of the team. Number didn't even have
like his full last name on the back of his
chair as he just says que. Yeah, he's doing military press.
(17:51):
Got the chocolate on his hands. Pound dumbbells is a
warm up. Pecks are popping. He make sure to roll up.
He's he got cut off sleeves, but he rolls up
the top so it looks more like a tank to
to cut off sleeve. Yeah, he rolls up the cut
off sleep. I've ever heard even more unbelievable. He now,
(18:14):
if you listen correctly, you gotta listen. He rolls up
the top of the commun sleep. Heard what you said, Yeah,
and so cut off your shirt right, You're not able
to do that. It's a bit bizarre when you go
into these like imagery like overload moments, bro, like you
really really like see it in your mind. Don't bury
the lead here, five pound dumbbells military press as a
(18:37):
warm up. What's noise? What's noise? Ha ha ha ha ha?
How you finish? How do you finish the set? And
(18:59):
then he starts hadn't go lines, man, that's how that goes.
Telling you it's a simple transition. I mean that dude
did that at the h home er on Derby right,
the same exactly. He's doing dead lift again, Like what
would come on, dude? At least like I put something
(19:19):
else together? Why dead lifts? Like that's hey, that's the
most weight I can lift, and I want to impress
him people. It's not that he's just just get his
whole body warmed up ready to go. It's actually not
the worst thing for help to prime himself for just
hitting bombs. But I'm not gonna go too big in
the head. I just wonder if that was the noise
he was making when he was doing it. Now sports,
(19:45):
that's what it is, like he's walking across burning coal. Yeah,
that's exactly yeah, right, because that's definitely burning and people
try and keep their cool and then you get to
that last set in your form goes to crap but
burning when you get like when you start like getting
into that real weight to be burning, like you get
up off that like like like how Latimer did. It's
(20:11):
just so relieved. It's over burning good. It's two pros
and a cup of Joe. Fox Sports Radio. I'm glad
you're talking about that scene in that movie with Latimer
and not the other STI I know you love to
go to the dark dark. I'm just letting letting everybody
know what you want everyone to know that Latimer was
a very bad person. Wouldn't want to be clear on this.
(20:32):
By the way, not place at the table starting defense.
You you were in the bedroom. He let a guy
spit in his mouth. I mean, come on, he lose
all credibility if you're if you're a stud defensive lineman,
you're on the gas and you let some guys spit
in your mouth. But here's the thing, though, so are
you in a puke? He gave it back to Alvin Mack's.
(21:00):
Oh man, yeah, let's please move on to that, all right.
It is to president a cup of Joe. U coming
up in a little over fifteen minutes from now. We've
got our the latest scandal in the world of sports,
and this one's very very odd. We will have that
for you here. So Josh Allen, Uh, he heard Brady
Quinn's criticism, and he heard it loud and clear. What
(21:21):
are you doing running the ball the way that you're
running the ball? He took a little yours, well, may listen,
you and I together. I don't remember ever criticizing Josh
Allen and Elman Louise, Delman Louise. We're going off the cliff. Uh,
you've never seen Delman Louise or they go off the
cliff together, come on hand in hand. Well, So Josh Allen,
(21:42):
he was very physical in his first game with the
Buffalo Bills, maybe took a little bit more punishment than
he needed to, and so he has talked about the
transition and wanting to maybe try and work on that
a little bit. Here was the Bill starting quarterback. I
think I could be better in that aspect, but given
the circumstances of what it was, understanding the flow of
the game, you know, I do thinks sometimes that are
(22:04):
necessary in my eyes to help our team win A
football game. That's that's all it is. But you know,
at the end of the day, availability is the best ability,
So just understanding that and getting down and not taking
too many hits. Actually that's year and a year out.
So they're gonna get even more rest because they played
Thursday night to open up the season. Then they're going
to be part of that double barrel Monday night football
game coming up against the Titans. So he assuming he's
(22:26):
going to be all cleared up and h and ready
to go. But it is it is rare that he
seems like he tries to initiate contact, like he just
seems like he does it a little bit different than
than anybody else. And I do wonder if the if
at some point somebody on the coaching staff was like,
come on, man, like this is but we need you,
(22:46):
like this is important, like this is an important year,
We need you to be out there, because it just
seemed like he was taking taking a little bit more
of a pounding than he needed to. I don't know,
But what the hell do I know? Someone asked me
yesterday if they if if I thought Lamar Jackson would
run as much given his contract situation, and I kind
of thought for a second maybe it's somewhere in the
(23:09):
back of his head, but honestly, no, Like it's just
it's it's his game. It's how he plays. If he's
gonna take off, and in that moment on the field,
he's not thinking, oh, I need to protect myself for
a bigger contract. He's just not. Josh Allen's a similar
athlete in that way. When he's in the pocket, he
is not thinking about, Oh, I need to like make
(23:29):
sure I don't run right now so I can stay
healthy for the remainder of the season. It's it's just
something he's gonna have to learn over time once he
has an injury, you know, once he goes through that,
and he's got to come to the realization that he's
got to continue to play from the pocket, like that's
that's what's gonna keep him healthiest and be best for
their team. So, you know, it's something that you don't
want to take it away too, and part because he's
(23:50):
he's so darn good at taking off and be doing that.
It's just that portion of the game is a portion
which the game was in hand, there was no you know,
to do it, and it is one play away one
twisted ankle, one guy rolling up on you, Um, just
an awkward slide. I mean, there's a bunch of different
(24:11):
ways that could go down. And if he's not in there,
that team is not a super Bowl caliber team. As
good as the roster is, they're just not. And I think,
you look what's behind him. That's fine, but you know,
it's it is what it is. It's it's just a
reality that he's that big of a difference maker. He
can't afford to get hurt otherwise it dramatically shifts how
(24:32):
you look at this roster. They could win a few
games with case Keenum and Matt Barkley. I believe it's
still in the roster behind him. Those guys are capable,
but not like he is. I just think you gotta
find the balance because while you'll say it's football, you
gotta run, you know, you gotta you gotta do things.
It's a contact sport. Everybody gets touched at some point
(24:52):
in time, outside of maybe a punter, you know, or
even a kicker. But when you're looking at the importance
of that position, you know, I definitely fall in line
with you just gotta be you gotta be fully aware
that any type of major injury that could come to
you based off of the way that your style of
(25:13):
play is playing out could be a detriment to not
only yourself, but to this team's success. So while you
sit there and you say, man, you love a dude
that played, I mean, did you see the way he
was stiff for him? And dudes like you see the
way he plays and and you know he's getting hit
and he's like, you know, trying to knock dudes off
of him. Like I don't know what he was doing
(25:35):
when he was in that little pile up, but I
mean he was he was like trying to like like
hump his way up out of that situation. I don't know,
but but I mean guys rally around that, and it's
just kind of like you gotta find that healthy balance
of I know this gets us going. I know this
can be something that that is is positive for our
(25:57):
team if we need it. But you are one, I mean,
I was there for the r G three era. You
want to talk about somebody's athleticism that totally like transformed
the way everybody viewed what was going on. RG three's
rookie year was sensational and to watch how how he
(26:22):
did things and how the Shanahans just totally, totally, you know,
manifested what he was really wanting to do and how
he was able to do it. And then boom, Hellodi nata, Like,
thirty some yards down the field, forty some yards down
the field, knocked that man's leg off of his body,
(26:45):
Hellodi nata. Like. For like, if you're listening to our
show at six thirty five or three thirty five in
some places, look up Helodi nada that I used to
play for the Baltimore Ravens. Gigantic Dude, how do you
knock a man's leg off thirty forty yards down the field?
That's as fast as r G three? And if you
(27:05):
don't put that in the proper context, then you don't
understand how dangerous it is for you to be out
there and running around on that field. Stay in your
safe place, because once you venture on onto to the
to the land, to the pride lands, the serengetti, there
are there are predators out there that run just as
(27:29):
fast or faster than you. And to to realize that
a bear or a lion can can run just as
fast as as some gazelle, Like how did you get
the gazelle? You had to catch the gazelle, and then
you saw the end of of r G three's career
shortly after he was never the same. After that, you're
(27:50):
one injury away from your your career being altered. And
and now the question becomes can you adapt? Can you
adjust to not having that mobe ability? So the question
would be for me, can Josh Allen be the most
productive quarterback that he can possibly be and achieving the
(28:10):
balance of not putting himself in too much danger when
running or not running too much as it applies to
being that guy. Let me ask you this, is it
simply a difference with Lamar Like just for example, Lamar
Jackson and Josh Allen since the names were brought up,
Lamar Jackson needs that aspect of his game to be effective.
Does Josh Allen? Can Josh Allen play and and be
(28:33):
as effective of a quarterback without without taking the damage
that he does running the ball? Well? No, because they're
they're doing it now and they're successful now. But I
still doesn't want them a Super Bowl. Yeah. The reality is,
you know, the he doesn't have the same offensive personnel
around him that Patrick Mahomes does now. I don't think
the Chiefs have a Stefon Digs right now, but the
(28:55):
Bills don't have a Travis Kelsey. I'm sorry, Dawson Knox
is not that guy. Um any of the other wide
receivers that you look at on Kansas City. I don't
think they're a true number one in comparison Stefon Diggs
and what he brings. Now, you might say that you know,
Judice Smith, Schuster and Marcus about a Scalion Sky more
those guys, Miko Hardman, those guys are all up there
(29:18):
as good as of a compliment as Gabriel Davis is
for the Bills. But the point I'm making is he
might have to buy a little more time, run around,
scramble because they don't have as many options in the
passing game. And Ken Dors has done a good job
so far, but he hasn't earned the reputation that Andy
Reid has his play caller, So you know, there might
be more reasons for him to have to scramble around
(29:41):
to buy some time or to create something when nothing's there,
and that's what makes the most effective. So again, it's
all byproduct of what he feels like. And he said
it like he needs to do to win and and
he's gonna do that. So, you know, to me, it's like,
all right, well we'll see how you know, John Elway
is running late in his career. I mean everyone kind
of remember is the playoff was a versus Green Bay.
(30:02):
When he run towards the goal line around got spun
around a helicopter. That now. The only thing about that
playoff was kind of interesting to me was like he
didn't get in the end zone. Like we celebrated it
and we're like man selling out, going all out, and
I was like, well, he didn't get in the end zone.
It was little look cool though, Yeah it did look cool.
And then you're like, uh, well, by the way, I'm
(30:24):
looking it up. The Hellodnada hit on r G three,
My guy, he was so much figger than r G three.
Oh everyone, Oh my god, he laid on him. That
was wild. I forgot that that was the beginning of
the end. What were you thinking when that big man
(30:45):
hit r G three? When when I saw that he
was hurt, I was just like I just I knew
it wasn't good. I knew it wasn't good. I just
knew it wasn't good, like it was bad. And in
the playoffs, I think what I was Seattle. I think
they were playing in the in the playoffs that that year.
But I mean when his leg went away from him
(31:07):
in that game, it was like, oh gosh. And then
when when Hellodi like rolled him up or rolled up
on him, it was just like you just knew that
this was what it was going to be. That if
he's if he's going to be the quarterback he's going
to be, he's going to have to enter into the
wild lands and that that's where the danger is. It's
(31:33):
unfortunate that it ended that way because I mean it
was such a super super like explosive rise to like prominence,
and then it was just gone. Like that is the
biggest difference between the NFL and college Like I remember
when I would kick off a little bit, like everything
just closes so much faster, like everyone's such like at
(31:54):
the top of the top athlete, you were just like, man,
it's hard to live here, like like this is not
a place like that why I want to try to
make make my head you know, like I'll still never forget.
We had um we were playing on a Monday football
game in Buffalo and we were we had a bunch
(32:14):
of runs called and they're like, hey, the way the
backside end crashes down, we're just gonna have you. When
you feel like you can keep it, you can keep it.
And I was like all right, Like what do you mean,
Like there's no there's nothing, no flat, no overcoming, Like
I'm a I'm a passing guy, Like I'm not. I'm
not like a running quarterback. You guys know that, right.
They're like, no, no, no, we think you're athletic enough
to do this. I was like, okay, but it will
(32:36):
only work if you sell out on the run. I
was like, oh okay, And so literally the first time
I did it, I remember coming around the corner. I
was like, oh, it is open, and I remember I
started running. I was like oh oh, and then I
thought I got like I thought I had like a yard.
It was like a ten yard game. I was like, damn,
but like it was. I mean, it closed up quick,
(32:57):
and then the rest of the game that kept going. Man,
you can still do you can still do it. I
was like I don't know if I can't like it,
is it really worth a five yard game? Like do
we have something else we could do. My rookie year
against Dallas, I ran into I don't even remember who
it was, but I know I was on a blitz
(33:18):
and and I was so used to like I'm six three,
I'm two two fifty five, and I'm fast and I'm explosive,
and I just remember, like in college, like I run
into dudes, like they move, they go back, or they
fall or whatever, like things happen. I came down on
a blitz and I hit this man woo and he
(33:42):
was still standing right there. I hit that man with
everything I had and I saw the sweat pop up
off of me and the wind leave my my my chest.
I hit him. It's like I was like boo, and
I stepped back and he was still there. And then
I was realized. In that moment, I was like, this
(34:04):
s is different. This is different to Serengetti bro that
you you don't realize how serious a man's body mass
is until you've experienced a grown man in the National
Football League. You better choose a side, You better attack
a shoulder. You go down straight straight down the middle
(34:25):
of that. Do you you You're gonna have a bad day? Uh?

(36:17):
or entertainment. Good thing. The guys are here to bring
you in case you and for that we turn it
over to our executive producer lead Digital. You guys, this
is a weird one UH controversy in the world of
competitive chess at the World Tournament here American Hans Nieman
(36:40):
versus the number one ranked Magnus Carlson. Now he unexpectedly
defeated him. But now there's been allegations of cheating using um,
what some would call adult beads or way hold on
to convey a message from a third party in order
to help win the match. Well, I mean, how were
(37:02):
they used? Yeah, what the hell? They were being used
as a bracelet, these these beads and then they vibrate
on command or via you know, so in other words,
he would he would what was it like Morris Coke? Yes,
kind of like Morris Coke. Can I have a question
for you? Didn't seem like he was sitting a little
(37:23):
bit uncomfortably. You said it was around his wrist, though
it wasn't being It wasn't being Not everything, not everything
has to be a sex joke, you know that, right?
You know what we're talking about that they are adults
around the dude's wrist. Yeah, you know what are the
adult Yeah? So so Jonas don't actually correct what he's saying,
(37:45):
but they were around his wrist. It's just so we're
clear they were adult beats though adult everyone. I just
want to know what the dude who's sending him the
moves to make via the beads. Why isn't that why?
And he they're playing, Yeah, they're playing because he's probably
sitting there typing it into like a computer mainframe or
(38:06):
some program of some sort correct play the computer. People
probably hard to focus, you know, I mean it's around
his wrist. I mean, I'm gonna stay away from this,
all right. They were new, they were new, right, We're
not not talking used. I just want to I want
(38:26):
to be clear. I would like to know how did
they uncover the fact that they were adult beats around
his wrist? How was that? How did that unfold? Accusations?
This has not been confirmed because I am about to say, like,
how do you uncover the fact that a man is
wearing adult beats around his wrist to try to win
(38:47):
a chess match? Kind of a wild accusation. It's hard
to see. It is very outletted. Like if somebody told
you what bills fans threw onto the field at games,
sometimes you would be like, that's so impossible, there's no way.
And those people that had the bills apparatus have beats
around their wrists as wind to throw them, throw it gig.
