Huh yeah, it's here. March Madness here, March Madness is here.

(01:26):
That's come on now, that's Christmas. Tell you, yes, one
of the great days of the entire year. Men are
willing to do to be able to watch all these
games today. Vasectomes, oh yep, yep, faking illnesses, oh, fake screens.
If they're working at a cubicle and they don't want

(01:47):
their boss to bust their balls that they're not being productive,
they'll they'll come up with whatever sort of story they
can use. I mean, this is like you know how
many guys have probably gone to the to the old
Hey my grandma died, and they've used this like six
seven times just to get out of work today, and
especially with Saint Patty's Day right around the corner. Oh yeah,

(02:07):
it's gonna be a two day bender. And it starts
shortly after noon Eastern time, nine o'clock out west, seven
eight Yeah in Hawaii? Yeah, oh god, what's this to
do with them? It's St. Patty's Days right around the Yeah,
that's messed up though, Berto, Yeah, are you saying that's right?
It's a button. I take a fence to this button.

(02:28):
Hit that button on your yeah, yeah times. What's up
with that? Man? Oh man? You guys don't get excited
for the tourney? Come on, man, I'm so excited. I
think of people on the west coast of the luck, yes,
because you wake up and they're on like you wake
up and you don't have to wait as long for
those on the East coast. They're sitting there like, how man,
I gotta wait six more hours for this, like six

(02:50):
more hours. Although it does provide them the opportunity to start,
as Jonas would say, boozing big time, especially when they're
taking off work and they're just huddled up at a
bar that's the same Patty's Day music, you know. Yeah,
that's true. Get what did you say? The what liverlube?

(03:11):
Love that liver? Although I wouldn't say the problem is
the games are starting shortly after nine am out here,
on the West coast. Yeah, you think people are going
to be able to last the entire day, Like, how
do you how do you break that? For years? Man? Yeah?
So what so what do you do? Do you take
it out? Madness? It is not because of the basketball tournament,
It's because of the how do you drink during the

(03:32):
course of the tournament? You know you're drinking some caffeine? Well,
push through? So, because I know Brady broke down a
couple of years ago, how to fully go through Saint
Patty's Day and make sure you can do everything from
the green pancakes to the shots at the end of
the night. So what's the what's the process? Because these
games there's not a lot of separation between when these

(03:54):
games are gone. The longest I see is about a
two hour window between Illinois Arkansas at war thirty Eastern
time and then Auburn, Iowa coming up at six fifty.
Is that where you get your power napp, You shower up,
you throw some cologne on, or you just keep happing.
At that point, you're you're you're refueling. You might even
get a quick workout in just to kind of get yourself,

(04:15):
keep yourself awake and make sure you're you're stimulating, you're
ready to go. So it's exact opposite. It's a thirteen
hour bender, is what you're saying. Yeah, yeah, but this
is you got to saddle in for this one. Boys,
That's all I'm saying. So out of the way. I
mean that that bottled up Long Island iced tea is
pretty fire, really pretty fire. Did you give I'm almost

(04:36):
finished with it. Did you get fried? It's pretty, it's pretty.
It's it's a quality product that Captain Morgan has created.
I will say I was skeptical. I looked at the
color of it. It wasn't It wasn't light. What was
that supposed to me? It was a darker it was
supposed to me it was darker. Come on, man, I
know it was. It did not It did not meet

(04:59):
the The writer of color can't say it wasn't satisfy you.
It's what you're saying. Well, I'm just saying it didn't.
It didn't look as though it had the sour mix
involved in the scenario. And it was very dark. But
it's too sweet? Is that what you're saying? The lighter
side was just too sweet for you? No, No, I
like it. Lighter because I like having that sour mix

(05:19):
in there a little bit to go with it. But anyway,
I tried it and I was like, Wow, this is
really good and it tastes like the light one and
it used to use port on. Yes, I'm going to
probably get another bottle or two for you know, the
weekends for larch madness. So I was in the store
and I just thought, you know, I don't know exactly

(05:41):
everything that goes into a Long Eye iced tea. I
just remember having to clean the glasses when I was
a bus boy, and it just made a breakdown of
what goes into it. Yeah, alcohol, So it's like you
just look at the bar, you go back, you open
up pretty much everything and you just dump it at Okay,
everything in it basically. So I'm at the store and
I see this pre made Long Island iced tea mix

(06:03):
and I thought, but I saw two of them, and
the one I got for Lavhar. The only reason I
got it is because the other one was twelve percent.
This one was seventeen. And I thought it, we're gonna go,
Let's go all go. That's good and he just poured
on ice and it's ready to rock. It's really, I
don't get this. Isn't that the proof? Is you higher
than that? I don't know? Yeah, what is what is

(06:23):
the proof? Lee? Can we effort that? Or maybe Todd
knows offhand? What is the proof? On the Long Island
iced tea if you go to a bar and it's
probably way stronger. I was just gonna say that seventeen
sounds low. Yes, it may be way stronger. Yeah, I
don't know, but it was good. I will say I
wasn't fried off of it, but it was good. Well,

(06:44):
that's disappointing, I'm seeing. Yeah, it's not that much in
the ballpark now. Now we are is playing later on
tonight as well too, depending on how great it is,
we'll dictate it. Well, I mean they got They're taking
on one of my favorite coaches in any sport of

(07:05):
all time, Buzz Whamps. Like I am a Buzz Williams followers.
He is one of the coolest guys. He's one of
the best leaders of men out there. And they had
they had an interesting season. You know, they started off
slow and then they really turned it up at the end.
I think they finished one second in the SEC in
the regular season and second in the SEC championship. But

(07:25):
they I'm saying that team could make a run. They're
playing some good bats. He used to be a frequent
guest here at Fox Sports Radio with on Jay Moore.
He always listened to Jay Moore and he would come
on the show and always hang out and he was
alway he was. He was fantastic, like down to earth.
I don't think he ever had a voice that didn't
sound like he had been screaming for four hours, Like

(07:45):
I think that's just coach's voice. He you know, it's funny.
He did a podcast with AJ's brother in law, Ryan Hawk.
He's got a great podcast kind of about you know,
just leadership in all facets, and he came on and
talked about like the nine things he requires of his
doing athletes, and he said, look, this is you know,
this program's out for the faint of heart. You know,
if you can't abide by these things, like you're out.

(08:06):
He's like, we got some guys who would come in
here and it's not for them, and they're out. But
it's all things that like he coaches these young men
up to be successful in whatever it is next. And
so you could see why he'd be so attractive to
so many different schools and why he's had success along
the course of the way. So we're going home after
to night. So we are Penn State is the slide on?

(08:27):
That's like four? I'm seeing yeah, around three to four,
depending on where you look. Are they I'm looking at trafficking,
all right? So well, of course, I mean, yeah, come on,
I'm looking at trafficings. I'm not sure where you're all right?
So so there has been some movement on this. Penn
State is a two and a half point underdog against
Texas A and A take that it's projected to be
the one of the better first round matchup, especially right now,

(08:50):
it's gonna be the best one. This might be one
of the best games we see all tournaments. Hey, tips
off scheduled to tip off five minutes before seven o'clock
local time later on to night here in LA. How's
it gonna go down? Yeah, we're gonna win Long Island Thursdays.
Uh as possible? Yeah? Will you be awake to see this? Oh? No,
I'll be awake. Question is will I be awake for

(09:12):
the show? Now? Will I be awake for the game?
Will I be awake for the show? That's going to
be the question. Yeah, it's depending on how well we do.
If it's a blowout, um, then I'll be ready for
the show. If it's a close game and I gotta
stay up for it, and I go go to bed
a little later than than usual, and then you know,
you might get the cranky LaVar. You know, you might

(09:35):
be tired. But it's a football Friday, so that kind
is a football friday, you know. But I'm just saying
I might be a little tired. Yeah, well it's I'm
just now recovering from the time change and the anniversary party.
And I mean, I I don't think I've partied that
hard in years since the Hall of Fame. I went harder.

(09:57):
I went harder for this, Like Hall of Fame, I
was just in such a different space, Like it was like,
you know, I was just too in awe of the
moment to really really get fried. I got right this weekend.
What about super Bowl week? No, it was good, but
it wasn't you know, I could have told you that. Yeah,

(10:18):
it wasn't long, right. You guys were with me. Yeah,
I've seen lavargat after that was not that was not
a sleep first time, the first night the first night
when we went out. When we went, Yeah, yeah I did,
because I had like what four or five long islands
at the first I came. I came across a picture

(10:40):
of you and Lee that I took at dinner, and
you guys look like you're time traveling. Elite doesn't know
where he's at. He's confused because I think he thinks
you're Todd in the picture. It was definitely like Marville.
I just wentn't drinking margarita. Yeah, I had what four
long islands to warm up, and then we had like

(11:00):
three of those those smoky drinks at at the next
and they were all strong, very strong. Yeah, that was
but I think I even out did that. Man, I
all did that this weekend. So shouts out to ask
TK shots out to the Grizzby family. Man, we would.
We were up in that joint. We were gyrating all

(11:21):
kinds of stuff in the middle of the bar. Like imagine.
We turned STK literally into a nightclub. Man. We were
dancing with people's wives kind of. Yeah, the way they
played the music one hundred percent. But I mean people
are still sitting down being civilized. We totally decivilized the place. Man, yeah, yeah,

(11:43):
that's how you do it. Yeah. We was grabbing old women,
younger women, all kinds of women. Oh well we're not
Mike Irving. Maybe maybe too soon. Let's let's move let's
move on, let's move on. Well, I mean our wives
were there though. I mean, you know, it was all legit,
It was all above board, you know, yeah, it was

(12:04):
all legal. It sounds fine to man o harassment. No,
I mean managers didn't even approach us and say, you know,
can you guys like settle down. They were, they were
dancing and singing with us. You know, I want to
dance with somebody. Oh he was somebody, Yeah, somebody who

(12:28):
I'm getting it. Yeah. That was one of the songs.
I think that was the song when we were like
super super fried, ridiculously like overly cooked fried. Um. That
was the song that like set it all off, was
I want to dance? Are you the type that when
you start drinking you do start dancing a little bit,
or you're more apt to dance? Because because I've been
around Jonas when he gets when he starts drinking, yeah,

(12:50):
he just like fades away. He just shuts down, just
in a robot. That's Jonas got out there with me
that night. We was checking. I know, but I'm saying
like there's still that element of like he just kind
of shuts down, like I'm low on battery, Like I
just relax. Maybe that's what it is that you're observing. Yeah,

(13:11):
I could see Lavarre turn it up and started. Well,
I mean, I'm not really into dancing, but that night
I felt really good. Then the espresso shots started flowing.
We didn't even know where they were coming from, and
and we were just doing it. We were doing it.
We were buying other tables like it was like we
were getting like our tad was crazy. Our tad was crazy. Well,

(13:36):
if you didn't know where they're coming from, why are
you getting built for them? Well, we were buying people shots. Okay,
we were by like the whole dining room, shots flying around.
They were just flying around. It was it was it
was pretty fun. I ain't gonna lie. I would go
back and do that one again. Yeah, And then we
gambled to like four thirty am and then you won.

(13:58):
You're right, you got some money out of that. I
did and winch won, but I do, Okay, she was
on the slots. You win that not well yeah, because
she was happy, but in reality, I was losing on
the black jack tables. I was up. It was like
your team, man, I was a team, but then I
was Now it's like backdraft. What are they same? Backdraft
shown us? You go, we go there, Yeah, there you

(14:20):
go bowling a bowling axe. I mean she might have
just win and spent it. You know, that's usually what
I feel like. Yeah, I don't know. I mean usually
like what, like, what were you getting at there? Yeh.
You know. Sometimes there's people who when they win and gambling,
they'll immediately be like, oh, now I have money to
buy this. Yeah, this instead of being like you know what, um,

(14:43):
those big buildings out in the desert, they they were
built for a reason. So maybe I should save up
my winnings because I'm gonna lose and go through a
Jonas Knox series of a bad Bets in the future.
There's a reason why they got slot machines at the airport.
Where do you leave Vegas? Just so they and stick
it to you one most time on the way out.
Oh you didn't blow yeah huh. I'll just say this.

(15:04):
She won big, but I mean it probably covered one meal.
If you were looking at it from that perspective, it's
pretty expensive to eat there, it's expensive to travel. Yeah,
it's pretty expensive. Yeah, I mean, but the good news

on the Pat McAfee show starring AJ Hawk and just
kind of took us through what's been happening over the
past couple of weeks several days. And there's a bunch

(17:39):
of different things that we can look at as far
as what he said. But here was Aaron Rodgers discussing
with the guys, the retreat, the decision, and where things
stand when it comes to his desire to want to
play and whether that'll be in Green Bay or at
the New York Jets. You know, I gotta admit I
one of the darkness, ninety percent, retiring at ten percent point.

(18:00):
Where my mind was, my mind was, I'm tired of it.
I hadn't got back into my workouts yet, and I
thought that that was what was best for me. When
I came out of the darkness, something changed. I'm not
exactly sure what that was, but something changed. I got
back to my phone. After five days off of it,
I realized that there had been a little bit of
a shift. I heard from multiple people that I trust

(18:22):
that there was some shopping going on. They were interested
in actually moving me. The packers granted, obviously permission for
the Jets to come out and visit. We had a
nice visit. I told them, listen, I'm not ready to
make a decision about anything. I want to get back
into my workouts and see how it feels, you know,
to really hit it hard for a week, and then
I'll see where we're at at this point. As I
said here, you know, I think since Friday, I made

(18:44):
it clear that my intention was to play, and my
intention was to play for the New York Jets, and
I haven't been holding anything up at this point. It's
been compensation that the packers are trying to get for
me and kind of digging their heels in. So there
we go. It's all on Green Bay, digging their heels
in on some comp that they would like in return

(19:04):
for Aaron Rodgers if he's going to go play for
the New York Jets. So that is the update from
Aaron Rodgers himself. Well, I mean it's true. I mean, look,
here's the problem with the situation between the Packers and
the Jets. There's no other pitters. There's no one else
helping to push this up to what the Green Bay
Packers want. Unfortunately, Mark Murphy already publicly stated the Packers

(19:27):
want to move on. I mean maybe that was in
some ways publicly stated when they drafted Jordan Love in
the first place. I mean, at least if you listen
to Aaron Rodgers and how he just you know, talks
about his entire experience, which you know, he touches on
the fact that, look, he was that guy before he
gets it. He was that guy that they took in
late in the first round and was there waiting once

(19:48):
Brett Favre moved on. So he's been through this before.
He's seen it before, the differences the front office and
the people there. And I think that's what was interesting
about the conversation is he's very understand ending of the
fact that like, he's not their guy, he doesn't have
the same you know, relationship with those guys in the
front office as he did. Whether it's Mark Murphy who

(20:08):
acts as their owner basically because there are a publicly
owned team or the general manager in Brian guten Kunst,
whoever you want to touch on. I mean, he went
through a lot of names, but the truth is he
knew just like everyone else did. The clock started when
Jordan Love was traded up and taken him the first
round of the draft. Now, if he had had this

(20:30):
past season, that first season, they probably would have moved on,
like he was right and bringing that up and talking
about it, because that's kind of the sentiment that I got.
But the reality is he went back to pack MVPs,
and so there's no way Green Bay can move on.
They have to. They have to put up with him,
They have to keep appeasing him in the meantime. And
I think there's things that he was looking to do,
knowing that the end was coming and hoping that he

(20:51):
could create change for the future in the way they
move on from players. And you know his quote that
he says often and it's true, is it's a great profession,
it's a business. And even for a guy who's a
first ballot Hall of Famer, right, a Super Bowl champ,
a four time MVP, and a guy who's played for
the Green Bay Packers longer than anyone in the history
of the organization. So it's it's excuse me, it's interesting

(21:14):
that you know, now you find yourselves in this position
where Mark Murphy already said they have no plans really
if things don't work out to have Green Bay or
Aaron Rodgers there, and so there's no one else helping
to bid up for them to get two first round picks.
Yet the only thing they have holding over the Jets
is the ability to hang on Daron Rodgers all the
way up to the season, and they could drag this

(21:36):
thing out forever because the option bonus in the way
it's it's worked, or the language within his contract they
it doesn't have to kick in until later on this year. Yeah,
and that's the biggest key here to edge. Well, that's
part of it. But I think the other thing that
people are overlooking is if you're the Packers and you're
starting Jordan Love and you want to make a decision
on him because you have to now, right you know,

(21:58):
this is now a time where you've got to figure
out if he's your guy or not. And you go
past the draft before you trade Aaron Rodgers, you're only
hurting him, You're only hurting yourselves because now instead of
potentially getting a draft pick for this season, you know,
you're now looking off into the future, and so you're
not really helping to continue to build out around the
quarterback position where he probably needs more help than Aaron

(22:19):
Rodgers necessarily did in that spot. I think it's personal here, though,
and if it's business, it's one hundred percent on par
with what you're saying. If it's just business, get your compensation,
get them out of there, and move on. Everybody go
their separate ways, and you can kind of walk away

(22:40):
from this pretty much. Everyone comes out of it. And
you're not looking at Green Bay and saying, Okay, green
Bay is you know, on the wrong side with the
fans or Aaron Rodgers on the wrong side with the fans.
As to how this was handled, I think if I'm
looking at it from the emotional standpoint of it, Aaron

(23:04):
Rodgers embarrassed that front office last season coming into the
year was it last year, the year before, it was
the year before last year? Yeah, it came nick Cage,
Nick Cage last year or the year before when he
came in with that that he came in with a
full fledge. Yeah, don't don't do that. Con here. Nick Cage,

(23:27):
his flamethrower, was on point with how he talked about
what he represents to Green Bay and and what were
to happen if he weren't in Green Bay, Which is
kind of interesting because you're only one season removed, well
really two seasons, but he played that season. You're one

(23:47):
season removed after that from those statements. And I just
wonder with them having the ability to hold on to
the situation until September one, are you because again, and
it helps you to be able to be able to
get this year's draft picks compensation going like like you
say a Q, but that also is you're also impacting

(24:13):
what the Jets are going to do. So if you
go beyond, if you go beyond the draft, if you
drag this out that far, do the Jets go cold
on on the Aaron Rodgers deal? Do you do? You do?
You mess yourself up? They so all in bed on this.
There's no chance you think they would take the chance

(24:34):
of waiting until September first. They are waiting until this
whole thing comes around. This, this whole thing is in
essence done. It's just a matter of when. And I
don't think it's going to go up to September one.
Who do you think would be the most petty, Well,
it's green petty. Jets do only because Green Bay knows
they know what the situation is. Because I saw Albert

(24:55):
Brier and I wanted to ask him this because he
sent a two later on and I saw him send
a tweet that says, well, Aaron Rodgers gave the Packers
the most important thing. He gave him leverage. And I'm
thinking to myself, did he because it felt like Mark
Murphy kind of shot that, you know, and blew the
tire on that car on Friday when he aired it

(25:15):
out and just said, oh yeah, our plan is to
not have Aaron Rodgers back. That's the ideal situation. So
I just don't know how Green Bay's got the leverage here.
They're almost kind of in a similar spot. But I
feel like, ultimately this deal's got to get done because
they need to move on and then the Jets need
to figure out who, if he who their quarterback's going
to be. Obviously it'll be Rodgers, but they need to
get it done. And so one of the stories that's

(25:37):
out there, I saw that the compensation they're looking at
is similar to Matt Stafford where they got two first
round picks for Matt staff But here's the difference is
you know in that in that event, the team that
was looking to move on from Jared Goff was absorbing
this contract. Yeah, right, like that was part of it.
That's that's this isn't the same scenario. You know, like

(26:00):
this this has nothing to do necessarily as much about
money outside of a clause. The Packers are twenty million
under the cap, so they're good for now. What this
prevents them from ultimately doing is outside of the draft
capital they could get in exchange for Aaron Rodgers. There's
also the element of they can't spend as much on
free agents. Like if you can't understand how much cap

(26:20):
space you've got going into this year, because you don't
know how long it's going to take to be able
to get to that point depending on when this all
works out, you know, you're kind of in a difficult
spot if you're the Packers too from a free agent
signing standpoint, which how many free agents that they've been
able to sign at this point, I haven't heard of any.
Have they made any spouses? No, So that's the other

(26:42):
point of like you know when you look at who
has the leverage here, Well, it doesn't seem like Green
Bay does because they've already admitted they want to move
on from him. He's made clear the destination that he
wants to go to. There's only one bidder. The only
thing that helps out green Bay is if there's another
team or two that gets desperate and wants to come
in and try to sign Aaron Rodgers helped build up

(27:02):
that price, then maybe that forces the New York Jets
hands and they could act quicker than they once. Let
me ask you this, what's the hit on them? If
if let's just say, for the sake of discussion, that
the deal fell through and they were just going to
release Aaron Rodgers before September one, Let's just say that

(27:23):
played out, what would that cost green Bay? That would
be a dead cap hit of a hundred million dollars? Yeah, yeah,
So they're not releasing right, and he actually counts thirty
one point six million against the cap. So there's your
answer right there. That's that's where the answer lies. So
just to say that they could try to carry this

(27:45):
out or carry this on until September one, that number
right there says that the Jets have all of the leverage,
because why would you if you're committed to moving on
from Aaron Rodgers, why would you chance getting getting caught
up with that, like you said, when you only have
one bid or on the table, like it takes on.

(28:06):
So I think there's a greater talking point here too
that Aaron was touching on that that people aren't focused on,
and I think people are just they only care about
it's the compensation, the money, everything else. He pointed out
the fact that he's been the longest tenured green Bay packer,
he's arguably, in his words, the best green Bay packer.
Some may say is somebody say is. That's up for debate,

(28:27):
But he did kind of talk about like, hey man,
I've done a lot of good things for you guys,
can you just have some grace with how you move
on from a player? Like I think that's one of
the points too he's making is this doesn't have to
be contentious, This doesn't have to be emotional. This doesn't
have to be a deal where you know it's it's
a it's a bad situation. Like I think a portion

(28:49):
of him looks at the draft pick of Jordan Love
and says, you wasted draft capital when I was about
ready to win two MVPs on a guy that was
never going to help us, was never gonna help us,
and so instead of building more around me, you wasted
a draft pick on a guy that you may or
may not be able to take over. But the reality

(29:09):
is now it's time to pay up. You can go
ahead and get something a little less all right in
exchange for me. So you do the right thing based
on what I've done for you and have to deal
with the pastor And it's not and it's not like
that certainly will be fair. It's not like they were
sitting there and Jordan Love was the best player on
the board. They moved up, like they gave up picks
to move up to draft Jordan Love. That's what I'm saying.

(29:30):
Like I remember the whole like they never really drafted
a wide receiver in the first round. There was multiple
opportunities to draft more talented guys, you know, to come
in and be a part of that. I mean, like
Christian Watson they finally got this past year. But you
know that was he was one everyone knew he was
gonna be a little bit more of a project. You know,
and he came out at the end of the year.
You saw the speed, you saw his ability, But where's
that three years ago? Where's that back in twenty twenty,

(29:53):
And so you could probably send some of the frustration too.
Of dude, I've been here forever. I've been through you know,
changes of essential ownership if you will, as far as
you know, who ends up overseeing it all to Mark
Murphy front office changed everything else. And now the time
where I've got a team that I want to go to,
we've probably got an idea of how we're gonna work
this thing out and then we can move on, and

(30:14):
you can move on. And yet now you want to
kind of trying to play games at the end. And
I don't know, maybe they feel like because of the
whole immunization thing and he kind of drugged them through
some stuff too. But again, like once they made that
draft pick, and Jonas, you and I worked together and
I said this back then, once they made that draft pick, TI,
it was the clock started. Yeah, and everyone knew it,

(30:35):
and it was just a matter of time and just
didn't work out the way the Packers had hoped, and
they were just waiting for one subpar season quote unquote
subpar season. He wasn't that bad, but one non MVP
season and all of a sudden, yet you know, we
got to go to another direction and he screwed up
and had two back to back MVP. The other thing
that's kind of messed up is like, you know, hey, guys,
I'm going away for a bit, all right, And then

(30:56):
you guys meanwhile, are like, hey, we should trade Brady.
I'm like, well, hold on a second, like I thought
we were good. And then you come out of some
hut in a dark room and the next thing you know,
they're shopping you around, like because they know you don't
have any cell service or any ability to communicate with anyone.
It just it feels a little slick too on the
part of the packers and how they handled I would

(31:16):
if a guy and by the way, like if he's
working on his mental health or wellness whatever else, and
that's how he does it, Okay, you know, people can
say whatever they want, but to give him the assurance
that they're gonna wait. And then he goes into a
hut for what three nights I think he said, you know,
four days or whatever it was. Yeah, and then and
then they just completely just shop him around and go
by his back. It's kind of dirty. It seems really

(31:39):
dirty on the part of the packers and disrespectful to
hippies everywhere. I think, totally disrespectful remem everybody involved. Two

bring you in case you missed it, and for that
we turn it over to our executive producer Lee Lapp. Guys,
tough story in case you've missed this last night, Hey fellas.

(33:30):
Mets All Star closer Edwin Diaz hurt his right knee
last night when celebrating after helping Puerto Rico record their
final out in that five two World Baseball Classic over
the Dominican Republic. He had to be transported off the field,
helped by his teammates, and then later left the stute
the stadium in a wheels. This is something this is

(33:53):
coming of course off of his his new deal. He
just signed three years, one hundred million dollars. So tough
luck there for the Mets. Did they did? They say? What?
The significance of the injury is not not yet. God man,
it'll be all for a while though. And it wasn't
like he was really jumping around crazy. They were just
kind of hopping around. Yeah, isn't this kind of standard
for the Mets? Yes, that's the play. Just yeah, I'm

(34:16):
just making sure that's everyone out there knows, like this
is if you're a Mets fan, this has been your
franchise history pretty much. See, it's kind of like the
Jets too, right, It's kind of Jets and Mets, and
usually those those fan bases run together, right, Jets, Mets,
uh and Nicks. Who's the basketball team? Oh yeah, Nicks
gotta be the Knicks. Um. It feels like that's the

(34:37):
difference between Cub fans. As a Cub fan growing up,
you're like, we're gonna lose anyways. Who cares. We got
Wrigley Field, but no of this matters. Oh somebody got injured,
Big whoop. We're still going and we're gonna shred beers.
We're gonna drink some Mold Styles on our way out
of the out of the stadium, and we're gonna go
right across the street to Murphy's Bleachers and continue it
all over again. Jets and Mets fans are so emotion

(35:00):
ocetional about everything that they're already losing their mind looking
at what the season's going to be and realizing, yeah,
we might be screwed for the entire year. So that's unfortunate.
All from why are you speaking for Cubs fans? I
just happen to know if you okay, yeah, I thought
she was from Pittsburgh, I am, oh yeah. Or he

(35:21):
claims he's from Ohio though too sometimes you know Western
Pa Ohio. Same thing again. If I was in Thousand
Oaks and you were never really claimed Thousand Oaks, would
I would hope someone comes around and just absolutely sacks you.
Flogs you, No, not flogs you. It's just you're coming
up from behind like a LaVar Arrington leap crushes you.

(35:43):
It's like that's because you don't rep thousands. And that
was against Illinois, right, it was. Can I tell you
from Monmouth, small town western part of the States. You're
not from Monmouth. How do you know? You said your
grandfather was like from Monmouth. That's not you, my dad
and his entire side of the family. There's a there's
a Knox County there. We can run the show there
if you know that or not? What else should we got, guys,

(36:05):
we've talked about it. A bunch of dummer rants incident
holding up a gun in an Instagram video recently, well
just yesterday did an interview saying that at the gun
wasn't his, but it's not who I am. I don't
condone it or any type of violence, but I take
full responsibility for my actions. And I made a bad mistake.
He got suspended a games, right, they didn't get suspended

(36:25):
a games? Yes, time served. Oh so it's already he's
good to go. Yeah, okay, Yeah, who cares? He paid
fifty thousand dollars, got a lap dance. According to the
owner of the club, he didn't drink, and so what
if he threatened a seventeen year old possibly a gun
point in his own house. They were playing a pickup
basketball game. The kid might have been cheating. I'm just saying, like,

(36:47):
there's a lot going on. I'm just saying, man, he
was spoken at third person, which is very interesting. What's
wrong speaking only Ricky Henderson? That was pretty funny. Yeah,
that's actually true. I was watching a movie. Yeah, I
watched a movie where the guy was talking a third
person question for you. Shortly after that it wasn't his gun?

(37:09):
Would you have been like us? Kind of maybe better
than was his gun because it doesn't call him the
question like who he's hanging around to, right, That's been
the big problem. Either way, it's a bad look. It's
a bad look like playing around with a strap, Like
I personally would have been lying like it's a lighter. Personally,

(37:33):
it's a big ass lighter. If that's a lighter. Have
you ever seen a strap lighter? They got they seeing them,
but they're smaller, Yeah, some of them. Some of them
are like they look like a real strap, Like if
you could hold it like a real strap and it's
a light. I'm just saying I would have been this
is a lighter. Prove me wrong. Now, I know I'm
going with that excuse moving forward through that prove me wrong. Yeah,

(37:55):
it wasn't like lighting a cigari or what do you
want your honor? The guys hold a shotgun. That's a plunger.
Don't worry about it. I mean it was a small
enough strap where where he could have got away with.
Appreciate you call it a strap. Yeah you know, yeah,
well that's hammer tool, yeah, piece strap strap, ham hammer hammers.

(38:19):
Sometimes you want a big gun, you know, like you said,
you know shotguns. Yeah, league, take us to the break. Hey,
what did you mean you take us to the gut?
What was that horse sound effect for? What are you
getting at there? That's a different, different type of hammer hammers.
