(01:00):
big football recap Monday here on the show. We obviously
addressed the beating in Dallas, the unfortunate news of Aiden
Hutchinson and the Dallas Cowboys with another embarrassing loss at home.
That's four in a row for the Cowboys, giving up
one hundred and sixty seven points during that time. They've
also got this issue on offense where they just don't

(01:20):
run the ball. One of the worst rushing teams in
the league, and it's hard to do that when you're
trailing in games by as much as they are.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Especially at home.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
But you know who they could have had, Derrick Henry,
and that just looks like the most perfect fit and
perfect match.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
And he is just rolling in Baltimore as they get
it done against Washington yesterday.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Well, I don't know about perfect fit, perfect match, but
definitely the need. I definitely could have used his services,
and watching in Baltimore, I think it's a little more
tantalizing to see the combination of him and Laura Jackson.
Then even the change up from him in Justice Hill
and the different style of backs they are.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
I just I don't know. I mean, look, this is
a defense too.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
As much as we want to harp on what these
scores have looked like, you know, the last but four
home games, I think you gave I was under a
different you know, defensive coordinator last three. Okay, Mike Zipper's
got to own that he's the DC. Now this is
a new defense. I mean, I would hope that they
would be able to show a little more progress by now.
It feels like, for the most part, a lot of
the teams, the offenses that we're seeing, they're starting to

(02:26):
hit their stride.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Like we're done with the preseason.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
We're into the regular season because no one plays in
the actual preseason anymore. So I feel like we're here
now where we should be seeing better play and it's
just not happening. And so I look, I said earlier,
the injuries, no doubt play a part in all this,
but this is also a defense that's trying to, you know,
learn a new scheme, play a different style of defense.

(02:50):
Maybe it's just not the right fit. I mean, LaVar,
I don't know how you look at it and see it,
but I look at it and just go, all right.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Maybe this is just not going to work in Dallas.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
You know, maybe it did it one point signed with
Mike Zimber, but maybe it's not gonna now.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, I don't listen. The Dallas situation is the Dallas situation,
and that's gonna play out the way it's going to
play out, because well, it's dysfunction. There's dysfunction there and
wherever that exists, in which I think we do know
where it exists. That's that's you're just going to have

(03:23):
to either, you know, Jerry Jones is going to have
to do something different or continue to get the same results.
But I think revisiting the whole Baltimore Ravens did, I mean,
if we're talking Ravens in Washington. I came away from
that game thinking that those are two really, really fine

(03:46):
football teams, and I said that was yeah. I said
it was going to be the Bentley versus Chrysler three
hundred game. You know, you remember when the Chryslers were released,
everybody was buying them. It was like, oh, it's just
like getting a Bentley. It's a Bentley. It's a Bentley, right,
And I said, we've seen Jaydeon Daniels play really well,
but you're about to go see him visit a Bentley.

(04:08):
So it's Jaydon Daniels Chrysler three hundred, and it's going
to pull up beside a Bentley. And now you can't say,
well that Chrysler three hundred looks like a Bentley, because
it's next to a Bentley, and a Bentley looks like
a Bentley, and a Chrysler three hundred next to a
Bentley looks like a Chrysler three hundred, Right, I feel
like Jaydon Daniels is a Bentley. I think. I think

(04:31):
for me the verdict is in He's the real deal. Uh, this,
this Washington team is the real deal. And for that
game to play out the way that it did, if
you're going to have a loss, which there's never a
you know, good way of losing in theory, because you lost,

(04:53):
but that was a very competitive game. Jayde and Daniels
one hundred percent stood up to the challenge that was
presented to him and responding and performing in such a
big game and such the Beltway battle is such a

(05:13):
real thing. I just I came away from that game
actually feeling even more confident and better about not only
Jaydeon Daniels, but this Washington football team as a whole.
I mean, it just looks like this is a different,
different team. And shots out to the Ravens for actually

(05:37):
being legitimately good enough to win a serious game against
a legit team, and what the Washington commanders are looking
like right now.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
It felt like a spot where Washington could have gotten exposed.
Are they contenders or pretenders? And yeah, they Jaden Daniels
played well enough. They're not quite at Baltimore's level. But
I came away from that game also thinking, I know
we're going to get into the to the Eagles and
the Knick Sirianni discussion later on Washington. Feels like the

(06:06):
best team in the NFC East, and I'm not sure
how close it is, right, could take it as far
as mostly and I know they're in first well record wise,
but no, just as far as optics and how they look.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
They feel like they're trending.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
In the right direction, and everybody else is kind of
sputtering at this point in that division.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I liked what I saw, is what I'll say. I
was encouraged by the way they played. I'm encouraged by
Jaydeon Daniels, his decision making, how he handled himself in
the game, his decision making, the poise that he showed.
I mean, there was one play in particular where he
you know, the time was running out and he threw

(06:45):
the ball in the dirt. You know, he didn't throw
it to Kular, He threw it in the dirt to
stop the clock, to preserve the clock instead of throwing
the ball to him, he gets the ball, gets tackled
for a one yard game. I mean, he was just
showing so much poise and so much understanding and control.
I just, you know, for me, I just always wonder

(07:07):
my my skeptical side always comes into play, and it's
always once once you get to the halfway mark of
the season and you're able to make book on what
it is that this new kid is doing, and you're
able to watch the film on him and look at
his tendencies and break down what he's good at, what
he's not good at. Does he continue to trend in

(07:28):
the same direction, does he cool off? Does he fall
off a cliff? Like in years past? You you feel
like with Washington, if it can go wrong, it's going
to go wrong. And it's almost like you got to
try to fight through the urge. Is there RG three trauma?
I mean, there's there's redskin trauma. I mean there's that

(07:50):
we're gonna get. I mean this is they weren't the
commanders when all the trauma was taking place. They weren't
the commanders when Dan Snyder had the team, So you know,
I can't say when they were the commanders, like the
trauma from them being the commanders they were the Redskins
went Dance nightder Bottom and owned them and all those
years of deterioration took place. So there you go, there

(08:12):
you go. But it's a new now, it's a new day.
It's a new new team name. You know, it's a
new quarterback. You know. RG three was never a commander,
you know, just so you know, so it's almost like
it never happened. I mean, kind of put it in
the past. I guess, you know, moving on. You know,

(08:33):
people are going to, here's my colleague guy. People are
going to, oh, the Washington commanders quite the apology for
the way that they're playing right now and everything that's
going on in DC. Colin, I'm gonna be tearing your
ass up all day on air, off air, friends, text messages.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
We played one more time, just tearing.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
His ass up. That weird ass accent you was rolling with. Man,
you better stop that. You know you better than that.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
I mean, do we have the sound? I mean, I
know's got. I think he's scared to play it.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
He's efforting. Some of you guys are gonna Lincoln an apology.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
The ten teams can handle coming out west the sunshine,
the distractions of.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
La probably not.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
More as at him in a commercial whatever.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Apologies accepted.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Him Lincoln Rally.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Oh, man, come on, Colin, By the way, is that
causing place? Is that where you guys are going on Thursdayly?
Was there like a Broncos game or something coming up?
You guys are to go to?

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Uh not? Yeah, it's up to these guys if they're
going or not. I'm not going to go to these guys.
Place looks sweet though. Yeah, I'm gonna go for another game,
but I'm gonna watch the dog nice. Where is it
atmosa Where?

Speaker 3 (10:15):
If it ain't in Ard, they ain't in my backyard,
I'm not going so m hm yeah, what are we
looking at?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Lee?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
It's at Hollywood Park so near, so fun? Oh they're
so far traffic should be nice. Yeah, I wouldn't mess
with that. That'd be fun. So enjoy that, everybody. Hey,
they got some weird little thing going man at the
control room. Man, you know he said right now, Well
they're kind of like clicked out now, you know, like

(10:45):
that whole in there, they're clicked out. Lorena and uh, Coop.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
And Coop and Coop and break.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, they clicked out. Man, we don't we don't get
those invites. Coop was making everyone go because it's a
Broncos game. Hm hmm interesting, Oh you didn't get an invite. No, yeah,
I didn't recall no invite either. I invited you guys
on Friday and you said no. Maybe I feel different,
but that's not true. You see how they clicked out together.

(11:14):
That was See, when there's too many of them that there,
you have people to like confirm, Yeah, you have them
to confirm, like the falseness of a story like, ain't
nobody said no? Like but Lorena was supporting, you know,
lead to lap point reinvite us, you know, maybe, Well,
we still have.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Two seats available if you want to come.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Zero chance, like not a shot now, Jonas, we have
two seats left. Settle, not LeVar and Jonas just Jonas.
It's cool, it's cool. Damn. I don't want no invite
from them anyway.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Hey, by the way, don't look now, but the offensive
Rookie of the Year odds are starting to shrink a
little bit.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Jade Daniels running around play well though Tayla played well
this week, really did he really looked good? This weekend.
You know it was a crappy team. He did it again,
but he though bad. Jacksonville's bad. They are they are
not good and they've got and the hel about the
people in London are like sweet. We get another game

(12:19):
next week and it's Patriots Jaguars. Eh good God, eh, Well,
somebody might look good in the game, though. I mean,
you got two really really bad teams. One of them
teams might look better than the really really really bad,
like more bad.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I can't I'm I shouldn't be surprised when I actually
am surprised at how bad Jacksonville is.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Now? Will he make Will Doug Peterson make it out
of the season? Is Sad Khan going to be an
idiot Who's going to be the next idiot to fire
their their coach during the season.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
I mean, they did just play in London.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Shod Con does have a ton of buddies and friends
over there. It's like, well, yeah, this could this could
set up poorly.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
For Doug Peterson coming back over.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
God, and that's another team with Pete ties Man. Prisco's
having it rough.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
And certain he's kneecapping people left and right.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Bruh. It looked like Cayleb Williams was the star of
the NFL, like cover boy can't do anything wrong, while
Trevor Lawrence looked like he couldn't fight his way out
of a wet paper bag. How what world does that exist?
Like that was crazy watching this dude is struggling looking

(13:40):
the way that he's looking, and Kayleb Williams was just
looking like a world beater out there, like this is
Trevor Lawrence. You're seeing the commercials the whatever it is
bank that that's used his name on.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
The Trevor Bank.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yeah, but whatever the name of the bank is in
real life. Like it was like they're doing the commercials this,
that and the other, and he stink. He kind of
stinks as a QB right now. It was weird. It
was weird like seeing it like this dude is struggling
while Kayla Williams is bawling. It was kind of weird

(14:19):
to me. Man, I mean, I would have liked to
have seen both of those young talents get it in,
but man, it didn't look like that. Bears are back, baby, Yeah,
but where are the Jags? They're not back. Just stay
over in London. They ain't coming back, huh, just stay there.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
If they But to Brady's point though, if they lose
this next week, and like I hate talking about and
calling for people's jobs.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
I never do that. I hate that crap. But you
can't bring him back if he loses Patriot, Like that's
what I'm saying. So like if they lose to New
England after that yesterday, can't bring him back. Yeah, he's
got to get his own flight back home. That's you
won't even let him fly back. No, he's got a out,
He's got to find his own way back.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Really.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Yeah, yeah, I don't want you on the plane. I
don't want that energy going back and back over. That's
a good point.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Like if somebody did fire you, would you even want
to fly back on the team plane?

Speaker 7 (15:11):
One?

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Probably No, it's a long flight man, that's nothing to
take into consideration.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
That probably be the best sleep Doug Peterson's gotten in
like two, Like you're on the flight back, if you're.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
The owner and you're on the flight, it's like you're
actually aggravated angry. You got Wi Fi, so you're still
getting people like tang throwing jack and you left and
right and you're just looking across.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
As the head coach and he's sitting there. Look, you
want to fire this guy right now.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
But the problem is if you fire him, you've got
like another eight hours on the plane together. It's like
you got to figure out. You got to either do
it before after or before after the flight.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
But I would not It'd be an awful flight to
have to think that when we land, this is what
I'm gonna have to do next.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
I mean, that's just a bad situation.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
So they've got New England coming up this week, then
they've got the Packers afterwards.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
That ain't gonna look good.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Geez man there, I mean, this is getting real, real
bad for Jacksonville, Like they could be the worst team
in the league.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
When it's all say, it's they're up there.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
How many years in a row did they pick number one?
Like they picked number one? Was it two or three
years in a row? Something like that? Yeah, and so
h so Jacksonville looks like looks like they're going to
be up against it this year and then we get
to see, uh, whether or not Doug Peterson survives there
and whether or not you know, shod CON's got a

(16:37):
quick trigger and wants to go ahead and make some changes.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I mean, he did it with Urban Meyer.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
It was a little bit later in the year, but
you know, this feels like this could happen sooner rather
than later, especially the fact that you put everybody on
notice before the season and let everybody know that listen,
we have expectations. I expect them to be better, you know,
we expect them to respond and they're.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Just the craziest thing about are they the worst team
in the league? Right? Is that you have the Cleveland
Browns sitting at one win. I don't know, I we
need to do this. Sorry, you have the Cleveland brown

(17:19):
sitting at one wine.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
I mean, this is if this isn't a troubling stat
I don't know what it is. Rodney McLeod is tied
for the team leading touchdowns.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
LeVar, do you know who Rodney McLeod is.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
I believe he Isn't he on the defensive side of
the ball.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
He's a safety here. That's a problem. That is a problem.
So hey, I'm not ready to throw in the towel
yet because they haven't been mathematically eliminated.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
I don't think are we going to touch on Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Today thrown in towels in that building? That I also
saw captain shield.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
You might knock somebody out. It's aid a ninja star.
Dang damn. Hey, he's going to lose that locker room
if they don't bit chimmed up. And if he loses
the locker room, then you know, he's probably gonna lose
his job. Was going to oh, yeah, yeah, you're right. Yeah,
that's fair.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
I mean it seems like we might be already we're
already down.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Yeah, we are all right. So this was a graphic
that was put up by s n Ohio.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
That's fair that said the Browns are zero for twenty
six on their last twenty six third downs with DeShawn Watson.
That doesn't seem possible.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
That was at one point during the game.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yeah, I was gonna say like that because they did
rally back and hey, let me tell you something, plus
nine plus nine and a half.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
I'll take it. I'll take it from.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
The Brownies there, so they get it done. Miles Garrett,
uh really the only thing going for him blocking a
kick and they were returning it. But yeah, between Cleveland
and whatever the.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Hell's grounds, the Panthers, they all suck suck bad. Like oh,
we thought Andy Dalton was about to beat New Noop
a little bit more competitive. Still one win you stink. Yeah, yeah,
so bad man. That's bad to be a you know,

(19:16):
you're in no man's land. When the Giants have one win,
they have double the wins you have. By the way,
that game was brutal. That was brutal. Yeah, brutal. That
was tough.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Good defensive performance though by the Bengals defense. That was
tough to watch. Good to see.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you here. Coming up next though, we are going
to discuss what really was the star of the weekend.
What was the star of the weekend in the world
of football, And that's yours here on FSR.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific
on Fox So It's Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here on Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
We've got a Monday tradition, the FSRI i R coming
up here in about fifteen minutes from now, but right now,
I got to know. I got to know Brady Quinn.
How is Provo because that place looks immaculate.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
It was awesome.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
It was as advertised in regards to what you saw
on television.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
It was scenic, it was beautiful. The fans are nuts.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
They're incredibly passionate about their their team, their program.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
And it's unique. It's obviously there's a spiritual element to it.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
There's a way in which you know the Mormon faith
and how a lot of the people conduct themselves.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
But I loved it.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
I really did have a really really good time out there. Obviously,
the team itself, you know, they're a great story. Whether
it's Klonie Sataki they're head coach, who I've known for
a long time, or Jake Retzloff their quarterback, here's the
first Jewish quarterback to play at BYU, to kind of
lead them. So it's been a great story. They're one

(21:03):
of those teams to keep an eye on. They could
end up being a college football playoff team when it's
all said and done. Obviously undefeated now, but the Big
twelve's got so much parody. Man, anything could happen any weekend.
But that was a really really fun time.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, it looked awesome.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
And then just to see just sort of the presentation
like Oregon, like Eugene, Ohio State being there, like and
I know obviously we got the the BQ Top fifteen
coming up tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah, but you know there's Alabama's let down.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Like it just felt like college football delivered yet again
it always does.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
I Mean, here's the problem for I think a lot
of NFL fans who aren't college football fans is you're gonna.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
Have college football throw in your face more and more.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
The more that the sport changes and grows and continues
to adapt almost into a professional model, it's gonna be
tough not to want to watch. To me, the games
are way more exciting. There's way more fun around them.
I mean, I think just again giving you the contrast
of BYU, how they do things those settings, I mean,
you don't find that in the NFL. It's just it's

(22:12):
not anywhere close to that what you saw in Eugene
and Atson, what you see in BYU or or excuse me,
in Provo, Utah sitting up up against the mountains like that.
There's just a different feeling to it. I've said to you, guys,
go to Border, go see a college football game there.
How pretty it is, especially as the sun setting. You know,
get those late afternoon games, so it's unique. But every

(22:35):
single week they've delivered, there's been all sorts of crazy games,
you know, whether it's Alabama that defended off South Carolina
and it felt like maybe they were going to lose
a couple in of rows. I mean, they haven't done
since two thousand and seven. Vanderbilts for real, Like it's
weird to probably hear people say that, And in saying that,
I think the hard thing is is it immediately makes

(22:57):
clark Lee one of the top head coaching candidate for
any job that becomes open for more of a football program.
Which it stings to admit that, but that's just life
in college football, it's life in football in general. When
you've done a really good job at a school that
traditionally hasn't had a lot of success. I mean, that's
how James Franklin got the Penn State. So Vanderbilt looks

(23:18):
to be a team that's highly competitive in the SEC.
And so kudos to Clark Lee and their entire staff
and all involved. You're going down the line of teams.
I mean, it's been a fun year. I think, you know,
the Ohio State Oregon game is the one that takes
the cake because of the ramifications on college football. But

(23:39):
I do think Ohio State can still very well make
it into the College Football Playoff, and that could be
a rematch in the Big Ten Championship game, you know,
depending on how you look at it. But those teams
being so close to the way they played, I think we'd
all love to see that again. But I look at
Ohio State and I kind of came away more disappointed

(24:00):
then I was saying, like oh Oregon was by far
and away the better team.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
I think they were better that night.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
You know, Evan Stewart, their outstanding receiver who hasn't really
done a ton up to this point. He only had
one hundred yard receiving game once before this past game,
and he already had over one hundred yards in the
first half.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
But you saw his capability.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
You saw why he was such a highly touted recruit
when he first went to Texas and m and then
he finds his way to Oregon. Now and Dylan Gabriel
had had a really slow start to the season.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
He's three picks, you.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Know, over the last few, you know, a couple of games,
and even though his completion percentage was high, like he
really wasn't pushing the ball down the field. And I
kind of wondered, is it more of him getting comfortable
with the offense or are they all holding some things back?
And whether or not it was the offense holding things
back or his comfort, it was all on display that
young man balled out. Give Dylan Gabriel a ton of credit.

(24:56):
And unfortunately they're they're you know, when one guy balls out,
someone struggles. And if you go look at the stat
line for Denzel Burke, the cornerback for Ohio State, Evan
Stewart and that passing attack for Oregon ate him up.
I want to say he gave up eight receptions almost
one hundred and seventy yards. I think a couple of
touchdowns and so not the best moment for Ohio State

(25:17):
or Denzel Burke, but they'll have their opportunity for a rematch.
I truly truly believe these two will be squaring off
again for the Big Ten championship.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I'm not necessarily sure about that.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
Oh, you've got a Penn State team, You're excited about.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Well, I mean, I mean, yeah, I am excited about him.
But I still think that there's something to be said
about traveling through the time zones. I think that that's
going to have to be something that, over time, is
eventually adjusted and adaptable too. I think that a large
part of why they may have struggled was because they

(25:53):
had to travel. Now, with that being said, that could
be a situation that happens with Oregon once the weather
changes and they're they're traveling through the time zones, and
not only are they traveling through the time zones, but
they have to deal with the weather that comes along
with it. I don't know what what I need to
know about Oregon yet, and I really don't know what

(26:15):
I need to know about Ohio State yet either, because
Ohio State Io would would probably be the only team
that I would say was of legit competition that they
went up against until they played against Oregon, so I
wasn't I'm not really sure who Ohio State is. I
know they're really they got a ton of talent. I
know they're considered to be really good up until this loss,

(26:36):
and still should be considered to be really good. I
just don't know how good they are moving moving down
the road. And as far as Oregon, I just, I'm
just I think Oregon could be susceptible to losing to
a team that we might have not even had on
the list of teams that they could lose to as
this season goes on, and and for more reasons than

(26:56):
just they might not be better than the team they
end up Lord, they might be better than the team
they end up losing too. They just might not be
able to contend with the elements. It is a throwing
team that is a throwing team when this weather gets.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Bad and you're not in that football too.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Yeah, they can, but I think they're more of a
there's certainly more of a dynamic throwing passing team. And
I think this game they were they hadn't been up
to up to that game. All I'll say is they're not.
I don't see them being a team that's going to
overwhelm teams with their running game in the Big Ten.
And are they going to be able to throw the

(27:31):
ball effectively enough when the weather changes and they have
to make those types of trips across the country to
do it. I'm not all the way confident in it.
Yet I'm not even sure it always ends up being
a weird ass team like Wisconsin or somebody else ends
up being in that Big Ten championship because teams end

(27:53):
up screwing the coach.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
That was more because we had divisions, though it would
have actually been Michigan or Penn State the majority of
years had they not had the East and West division.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Right.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Actually, but to your point, they do.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
They do go to ross Aid Stadium this week on
Friday night, short week Produe. Doesn't look like much of
a tough matchup for them, but maybe they could slip
up there. They do go to ann Arbor November two,
and they do go to Wisconsin, who beat down Rutgers
this week in November, so mid November. Maybe that's the
more of a type of game you're talking about, Art

(28:30):
and then, and that's fair. It very well could happen.
By the way, I was most disappointed by the fact
that Treviaon Henderson was averaging.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
I think what nine yards of carry for ten care
and like for.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Some reason they they they didn't want to do what
like Penn State did, for example, where you just physically
say we're like, we're the Big Ten, We're gonna show
you we're the Big ten and we've been here for
a while, like this is how it works.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
And they just physically dominated a war on war and
war them and it.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Broke them down eventually. And Ohio State had the chance
to do that, they didn't. I don't know why. You know,
Chip Kelly's calling the offense. Now, there are times where
they had they diagramed some things up. It was nice,
but you know, if we want to talk about the
offensive PI at the end of the game, all right,
we can talk about it. I thought it was within
the five yard cushion. Didn't think it should have been
called ultimately, Like, it shouldn't have come down to that.

(29:19):
If you're a highest state, you should have been able
to run the football control of the game more than
they did. The Will Howard play at the end. I'll
quickly summarize by just saying this. You know, I think
situational football is one of the last things that's taught
as well as it should be taught at the college
football level. So we saw Niko Eo Maliava have an
issue with that this his first year starting. Will Howard

(29:41):
started way too many games to have a mistake like that.
But more and more I see quarterbacks are not being
taught situations. They're not being taught Hey, you have this
many seconds, this many timeouts, this is how many plays
you can run like this is physically like legitimately how
it works. And to think like a coach when you're

(30:02):
out there on the field, because ultimately they can't help
it come save you. You know, when you take off
run and there's only so many seconds left, you've got
to know that you've got to get down or you
got to throw the football away, and you have to
act quick like. It's a big time problem. And I
think you know, part of it's the fact that you
get a lot of kids move in different places. They've
got a lot of other things on their mind, like

(30:24):
where they're going to live their life outside of football,
learning a new system, getting into classes, everything else, and
it's like the last thing on their deal is like
actually football one oh one and continue to build the
situational awareness to not have a game end the way
it has at least the last couple of weeks now
where we've seen that from two separate quarterbacks in a
huge spot. So take that from what it's worth, But

(30:47):
that's one thing that has to be improved, has to
be cleaned up.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Yeah, and I think it's just communication, to be honestly,
that's why we never have issues here communicating.

Speaker 1 (30:54):

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Lee? Why is he? You guys looking at me? Because
I overgot no your ir, guy, Well, you got a
new flask. I do have a new flask. Thank you, Lorena.
You welcome the key chain flask. Oh jeez, from the
Queen Lorena on IR with you. It's little oh god,
some one else. Patty is starting to get uncomfortable, man,

(33:06):
it really is. It's like this is a weird thing
going on here. All right? Are y'all both on the IR, like,
let's get up both on IR reports. See, I wish
I was on the IR but okay, okay, I.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
Got to I got drunk on a boat this morning.
That's it.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
This morning.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Yes, I went to the Queen Mary for their royal
brunch and I did the bottom.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Of yesterday morning. Yeah, yesterday it it's the next day.
Oh jesus, are you still on the IR right now?

Speaker 6 (33:35):
It feels like it. I should have kept the party going.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Okay, Lee, I was trying to keep the party going.
I was having a good time with my new neighbors
at the pool. New neighbors, new neighbors at the house
you live with your ex woman, Yes, that's still your
woman currently. Well yeah, and that is the problem, because
there we go. Because as because I went out to

(33:59):
the pool, was having a good time. I was taking
a break from working on the on the condo. I
just finished the projects of the day working on the
closet painting, as we all know. And I take a
cocktail out to the out to the pool and I
go for back for to make another one, and you
were locked out. No, I discovered that my bottle had
been replaced with water. Oh no, she thought it was

(34:22):
a real cute idea to dump out my booze and
put in and replace it with water.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
That could be an intervention. I mean she could have
been doing you a solid. I don't know what your
current state was when you did. Part of me wants
to say that's jacked up and and hate on your
ex current. But at the same time, maybe she saw
something that was, you know, concerning sturbing it a little.

(34:49):
It's a little crazy. What kind of booze were we
talking about? There was one bottle of a bucket and
then like she took out all the beer. She like
emptied out all the like a beer, the six pack
that I had for like other people coming over, everything
out and she emptied everything out. You're gonna die, bro,
It's so it's so funny. It's I just found it funny.

(35:10):
I mean I was almost ain't funny. It's not funny crazy,
funny crazy, it's you're in trouble, man, That's all I
can tell you.

Speaker 7 (35:19):
You're gonna wake up one morning with a revolver pointing
out you know, you're going to wake up one morning
and it's already been used, and and then you might
go back to sleep.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Luck if you were ever. I mean, that is an
IR report.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
How long were you outside of the place before you
came back in?

Speaker 5 (35:38):
Not long?

Speaker 1 (35:39):
It can't can? Can she see you from a window?
And what were the neighbors? What they look like?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Young rock and rollers girls? Uh, yeah, we know we
know them. Yeah. One of them is a couple in
their friend, a couple and their guy friend.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
So it was one you say, young rock and rollers.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Yeah, they got like tattoos, like long hair, they got
tattoos and they rock and roll. Yeah, you're about to
get rocked and rolled.

Speaker 5 (36:09):
You do not live in reality?

Speaker 1 (36:11):
No, oh, he's about to live in it all the way.
