Speaker 2 (00:33):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
It goes with my white beer that I've been growing.
They call me white beer, the Viking, you know, the
black Viking with what white.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I watched it yesterday, dude, Yeah, how'd you like it?
I slept your all of it?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Oh, well, there you go.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
No, it was good.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
You're a sucker.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
There's a reason for that too. If that was a
kiss and it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
The movie, by the way.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
As part part part of the reason.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Okay, I don't like it. It's a good movie. Man
was good.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
I know that Lee got lit up this weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I know it.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
I can tell.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
How can you tell that? You just tell?

Speaker 5 (01:17):
He went through it this weekend. He went through it
this weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah you do you ever have argain where you get
banged up? I haven't drank.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yeah, okay, LeVar, do you want to know how he knows?
And you can tell, but you don't walk into the
Google doc. If you could, you would see whenever there's
panic and Lee has like like sixty updates because he's
trying to figure something out on Google doc. You know,
he got after it and he's having a rough Monday
morning trying.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
To figure this away.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Well hold on, yes, but also I hit some F
button F twelve or something, and now it's like everything
I have to do gets I don't know. I don't
know how to explain it, but I need to like
approve every edit I make on the Google Google duc.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
It's actually funny. You probably drunkenly put something in there
to safeguard if you made a change while drunk, and
then once you soap it up, it like then allows
you bik, Do you really want to make this change? Lee?
Do you do?

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Lee? Tis?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
How many updates did he make? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I got an email with about six or seven updates
and I was like, what is happening right now?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah? I don't see all of that.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
So the glorious part is you can actually go through
the history of the document and see like different variations
of it. So I could see like where Lee was
like couldn't spell something, or going on.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
It's great.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Uh, it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here on Fox Sports Radio, Lebar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas
Knox with you, uh, and we are going to take
you all the way up until nine am Eastern time,
six o'clock specific now normally to end hour one of
the program we do in Case you missed It, starring
Lead to lab right now, though we are going to
implement that here at the top of the hour because

(03:06):
we did not have time last hour.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
So let's get to it.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Sometimes you can't get to everything in the world of
sports or entertainment.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Good thing. The guys are here to bring you in
case you missed.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
It, and for that we turn it over to our
executive producer, Lead.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Lap Oh. Good morning, everybody, Picture incoming, Good morning, Jonas,
Good morning, Brady, Good morning, LeVar Guys. In casey miss it,
tough week for the Belichick clan. Of course, we all
know about his twenty four year old girlfriend Jordan Hudson.
She was in the Miss Main beauty pageant this weekend.

(03:45):
She had been runner up last year. Unfortunately she fell
one behind. She fell in third place this week, which
is nothing to be ashamed of. But this is how
the voting turned out, just so you know, just so
you know how this goes. You could actually vote for
contestants online for a dollar apiece.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
First place went to Lexi Byork, who got thirteen hundred
and eighty one votes.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
So really this is just a money grab. Yeah, like
a real thing. It's a money grab, but go ahead.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah yeah, yeah. Well, Jordan Hudson did finish only with
one hundred and forty six votes to go third. Second
place went to a transgender contestant, Isabelle Saint Cyr, with
four hundred and forty seven votes.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
And that was important to include transgender.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Huh, well that's you know, I'm just reading the report
here from.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
The saying it was important for them to include transgender.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
And about time, I'm just yeah, so I think it
was important, Carol can.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I asked controversial questions about time. Yeah, I mean, what's
the competition called Miss Maine.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yes, yeah, not Miss Man, Miss Miss mayn Miss.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You did that waiting? Yes, definitely right now?

Speaker 4 (04:58):
If not, everyone would call him it's Maine, Like is
it controversial?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Win?

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Like? How do you go about or how does that work?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Well, she's now a miss That's how I guess it works.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
But also, was there a swimsuit contest? Jordan lost to
to what was formerly a man? That's what would hurt
me a little bit more than just coming in third?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Is that I lost?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
I mean, I say, isn't part of it a swimsuit contest?
Do you have any evidence of that?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I am efforting?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Hey, Lee, who did you say? One? Come out?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Alexi, Lexi Byork?

Speaker 5 (05:43):
I was gonna say not.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Shelby Howell.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I'm seeing Lexi Byork with thirteen hundred eighty one votes.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
But Shelby Howell, Yeah, named miss Maine USA.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Maybe that's what's coming up in the old Google machine?
How banged up were you?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Was she even Transgenderly?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Daily Mail?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Don't think you're blaming the Daily Mail for you reading
the article.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I mean.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
A Lee, you confuse your dating preferences on your aft
to the miss.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Miss man was standing over top of you.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Lee rad relates the second place Todd.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Good, which bath of the way did Todd go through.
I'm really going to do this.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Oh he sure did.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I feel like the girl who won the Shelby Howell
girl is like the blonde version of Jordan Hudson.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, tell me if you see that. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
It's like you're the same girl's blonde hair.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
But you're seeing the same thing, right, it's for sure?

Speaker 3 (06:51):
She Yeah, I am seeing Shelby as well.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
What do you mean, you said, Lexi more?

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You see the report I printed out? Yeah, they say
Luxy b York with thirteen eighty one.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Okay, what what was there even a transgender in the running?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yes? Sing?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Are you looking at you see Isabelle?

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Are you looking at are you looking at bumble again?

Speaker 1 (07:11):

Speaker 4 (07:14):

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I'm just reading what's off the CLI?

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Did you get this weekend?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Saturday was good?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Don't remember Sunday too much.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
No, Sunday was Sunday was calm, nice, calm Sunday that
I was at the pool all weekend.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
I mean, hey, look, I'll tell you f sr I
R later. All right, So listen, So that is the update?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Where is this coming from Shelby Howell? Congratulations Jordan Hudson
finished third, and a transgender may or may not have
finished second. That's what we got here, either that or
or Lee.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I was looking for the results on his bumble.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I see her standing there with Shelby Howe.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, there she is. Shelby Howe is the transgender.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
No, it's the winner.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
No, who's the transgender? What's what's their name?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Said Isabelle Saint cyr.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
M interesting, all right, yeah, oh whoa.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Whoa, that's a good looking lady. No, by the name,
that's Shelby.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
Yeah, oh all right, what else we got lady?

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Right?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
All right, guys, that got awkward.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
In case you missed this, uh, kind of an old story,
but just servicing Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Packers,
Eltin Jenkins uh reportedly got into a scuffle at the
King of Diamonds strip club in Atlanta earlier this month.
Him and his buddies got there, uh late in the evening,
around eleven thirty pm. But we're disappointed with the quote

(08:59):
unquote lack of action, feeling it was somewhat dead, therefore
asking for a refund and then getting into a little
bit of a scuffle slash quarrel with the club staff. Uh,
police were called and ended the uh the supposed quarrel.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
No arrests were made, and this is the King of
Diamonds in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
That is correct. Interesting, it's weird that there'd be.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
So would you would you ever ask for your money
back for you know, if you get into a club
and just nothing's happening yet, maybe you're early in the evening.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Who depends depends if you did a minimum and you
had already like, you know, put which I don't really
know all of the details about all stuff like this.
I'm just saying if you were someone who were doing
uh a you know, kind of a VIP type of setup,
and you did the minimum and you put your card

(09:52):
down on it, and they held a certain amount of
the money, and you went in there and you were like, yeah,
this isn't what we were expecting. We want to go
and they're like, well, you know, you have your minimum
and they already have your card information. Then that could
be a sticky situation like that. I wouldn't just walk
away from a minimum if they were charging me a minimum.

(10:16):
If I were per se to be the one that
went into a place like that.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
You know what I appreciate about this kod Or King
of Diamonds Atlanta. Is they think about everyone involved here?
Like they even have a brunch coming up on September first?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Nice, I believe.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
It's a Kisha Cole brunch. N So, yeah, my guess
is they had live entertainment. They must had something to
my mother's.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
Dead too, probably strippers of people too.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I mean that is true.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
I'm not saying they're not. I'm just I'm just saying
it's interesting to get the whole family involved.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Well, I'm saying are they Are they live entertaining during
the brunch or yeah?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Just being you, I don't think it's just food hall.
I think there's still some entertainment going on. It looks
like every Sunday. By the way, you can get my
least favorite meal brunch there ten dollars unlimited crab legs.
And by the way, I said, ten dollars unlimited crab
leg crabs, right, you can get I.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Bet you can get crab and got no meat in them.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
You doing all kinds of let's just let's just make
sure you don't take the crabs home with you.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Yeah, it's a different ones. Those are the many cousins
of the blue Crab that you're speaking all those costers
like these ones they're talking about a little different, you know. Yeah,
the menu is not bad though, Bruh. Those places be
having the bomb as chefs. Man, No, no, yes they do.

(11:45):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (11:47):
Emerald Emeralds counter.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Hey, guys, Bobby, Bobby.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
The Michelin tires beyond some of these joints that you'd
be going to before. Where you go is to throw
one tires with some white walls. I don't know what
are we talking about?

Speaker 5 (12:04):
Hey guy, what do you get done with that prime rim?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Come look at a rass. They're very professional, Jonas. That's
that's That's not how it works. I mean, this is
what I've been told. I've heard this that they have
really good fine dinings and.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
I'm going to look up see how many of it
on Iron Chef.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Recently, the Golden Lobster rolls one hundred dollars at this place.
There you go, one hundred dollars. I wonder why it's
golden gold foil.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Oh okay, all right, let's just make it sure. What
else we got, guys?

Speaker 3 (12:42):
In case you missed this, and I know I was
trying to get you in on this last week was
the SEC Softball UH tournament, and and we're all in
on that. Well, it came down to on that Oklahoma
versus Texas A and M Well, SEC decided to declare
them both co champions of the SEC tur Softball Tournament.
After the championship game was canceled due to inclement weather

(13:03):
at game time and predicted for the remainder of the day.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
They were both had you got to play the game?

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Yeah, well they both had charters scheduled for later in
the day, so they decided to just let them all
go home. Oklahoma will serve as the conference's automatic qualifier
to the NCAA Tournament.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
What co champions? You got to play the game? No?

Speaker 5 (13:24):
Rememb when college football had played a game?

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Was it? Was it?

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Miami and Washington were co champions that one year?

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Was it ninety one?

Speaker 4 (13:31):
How many teams get into the Softball World Series or
whatever it is? Lee, You don't know this.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
You read the story, you know, well, this was for
the SEC championship, specifically for the.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Right but it's for the automatic bid into the for
the National Championship.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Right, That wasn't part of the story. But I'm looking
into that as we speak.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I know I know eight teams made it from the
Big ten, which is sixty pretty significant.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Sixteen No wait, hold on eighteen.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Yeah, well just so you know, the like lacrosse is
only sixteen, so it could be sixteen sixty eight god dangle.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Well that's what it said.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I'm sorry weird to say that.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
That was that was part of the transgender speech I.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Was looking at still, I was looking into or I
was reading all there you go.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Would you be okay, Lexie or athlete justice leading in
the softball championship? Would you be okay with that? I
wouldn't be okay with I know when we there was
a transgender athlete competing in the NCAA volleyball tournament, I
was not okay with it. I'm not okay with that.
Just just saying. I mean not to turn it serious,

(14:41):
but I'm just saying, I don't want somebody who was
formerly a man like spiking the ball on my daughter
who was, you know, formerly a woman, and still I
thought he.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Was security is why does it matter to you?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
League?

Speaker 4 (14:57):
None of these girls fit your profile future sixty.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
I do see a sixty four team field that whittles
down to sixteen, Regional, eight, Super regional eight teams competing
in yeah, when it's probably sixty When it's the World Series,
it's eight teams competing.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Yet eight of sixty four still pretty good?

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Okay, I mean listen, all right, I feel like we've
done it here.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
We have done it, Lee.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I gotta tell you.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Man, hey, we should we should do a long version
of the case. You missed it every day.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
You shouldn't have that much materially.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
There's a reason we condensed this to two minutes every day.

Speaker 5 (15:41):
No, No, you gave out the wrong winner.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
How did you?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
I found the original article and they still have Lexi
Buorick as the winner, who I've looked into and she's
very deserving. I don't know what happened. Oh I put
one dollar down.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
So that's so you've voted for No.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I mean, isn't this an indictment against Bill Belichick? I mean,
shouldn't you have invested enough for her to win?

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Far?

Speaker 1 (16:07):
In a way?

Speaker 4 (16:07):
You really want me to go in the rabbit hole
here is like, please go ahead, where does if you're
third place in Maine? Like, what does that rank? Let's
say you go to a different state.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Oh yeah, you know.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
What I'm saying, Like go to New York, go to California, Texas.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Florida, Like, h yeah, is that n A? Is that
an ai A?

Speaker 4 (16:25):
That's what I'm saying. It's like there there could be
you know, could be some trouble theyre.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
I'm saying, I had to cross to get to you
get a second round out that that top three? I mean,
like what is what is that? You don't have enough
good look at women? Y'all had to go. Y'all had
to go cross lines like.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Some would say cross streams.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yes, all right, hey we need we need ten to compete.
Everybody got long hair, you'll do. You get in there,
you'll do.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
That's what I'm saying. Is this one of an indictment
on Maine or Jordan Hudson or like who?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Is this more of an indictment on I mean she
entered the competition. I think the minute she entered that's
an indictment on her. I mean, you got bigger fish
to fry at this point.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
I mean we should give an update too. To have
not heard Jonas, do you want to give an update
as to the current situation of Jeorde Hudson at the
University of North Carolina.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Oh? Yeah, yeah, she's not banned from the facility as
reported that was reported before the weekend from Pablo Torre
that she had been banned from the facility there in
North Carolina. Came out with a statement saying, no, she's
welcome here. She's not banned.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
So that's where we don't work here. We don't have
her on staff, but she is welcome in the facility.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Like, Okay, I've never seen a story get so much
run from people who like, there's people that Florio's got
an update daily about it, like daily, That's weird.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
If you ask me, Mande.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Who like, who cared?

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Just move on?

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Like I'm I want to know what he's going to
look like when he's coaching at the college level.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
That's what I want to know.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
I want to let me, let me play the other
side of this, because I was talking to a buddy
who's a big Boston sports talk radio fan, and there's
guys who are invested there because they feel like it's
about the legacy of Bill Belichick and then it's about
how it impacts his family and there's more drama to
this than many people realize, which is kind of interesting.

(18:24):
Like we talked about the Phil simms, you know, number
retirement and retiring it for Abdul Carter and this somewhat
falls in that category of well, Bill Belichick obviously is
living his best life. We're not judging him for that. However,
we're not his family. And like my thing is always
people will always say like, oh, don't be judge, but

(18:45):
you can't judge people. It's like, well, if you're close,
like you have family members or you have friends who
want you to hold them accountable, I don't they kind
of asking you to judge them a little bit for
how them could like the things they're doing and how
they're conducting themselves. Like otherwise, how can you hold them accountable?
Like if someone says to you like, this is what
I'm all about, this is what I want to accomplish,
this is what I want to do, and they start

(19:06):
doing things that aren't going in that direction, do you
not judge them and call them out and say, hey, dude,
like you said this, but you're not your actions aren't
doing this. And the only reason I bring that up
is because I do think there's probably some family drama.
There's probably some thought to how this will impact his legacy.
I personally don't think it will, like this becomes one
of those stories that I don't know how many people

(19:29):
remember it besides those who kind of lived during that
era to hear it. Most people when they think of
like the greatest of all time, which Bill Belichick, is that,
or at least in my opinion, is that most people
only remember that. They don't remember like all the other
stuff that was off the field. And there's countless other
players that you don't remember about some of their past discretions,

(19:52):
you know. So I just I look at it from
that perspective to think there is definitely a juicy, drama
filled story here. I just don't care for it. You know.
If if you want to have that conversation about his
personal life, that's on you, but that's not for me.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
I respect him more now, Like in fact, I don't
even think about Spygate anymore. Any of the allegations against
the Patriots organization all all forgot.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Maybe maybe Spigy was misdirected, you know, maybe not looking
back on it, it was really just he was the
modern day version of the pervert at the beach with
binocular Maybe the entire operation was just to try to
find some Jordan Hudson's stands.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I mean, and he did catch her. He caught her
off of the pair, right, there's evidence of it. There's
visual evidence he caught.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
What's amazing about this people people were too young. They
don't remember when you'd see those dudes, you know, perverts
at the beach with binoculars, like what are you looking for?

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Bird? Remember you remember that? It's like whale watching. Oh yeah, yeah,
they're right over there, right.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
And nowadays everyone's got a phone so they can zoom
in or do whatever. I mean, I've got some some
buddies who like, trust me, they're always trying to take
a photo that incumbent incorporates something in the background.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
Binoculars really were Yeah, if you were to go, like
was the thing per cap how many perverts binoculars?

Speaker 1 (21:23):
It's like, oh man.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Also, they weren't hiding them.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
They weren't like the small ones that used to see.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
They're like the big, gigantic ones that looks like they
could honestly look into the solar system. Yeah, an areola
from like a mile.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Oh yeah, I'm got dang party socks with open toed.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Tivas? Is that what they call it? Tivas?

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Oh my gosh, come on, bit there he is. There's
one right there that's ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Horse Radio. Man Like, I'm laughing so hard
my back hurts. It's crazy, is that right?

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Yeah? Crazy?

Speaker 4 (22:09):
I'm trying to traw this out a little bit. We
have more time.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
It's killing me.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Yeah, Well you know what you can do to deal
with that back pain. It's I've dealt with it myself. Jonas,
you need to find the right mattress because it makes
a difference. Mattress firms sleep experts will help you find
the perfect bed for your unique needs. That's why, Jonas,
your unique needs get match to mattress firms. Been more
of day sail and sleep bad night or just.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Hit up the uh you know, the runner up to
Miss may Oh tick to that back problem real easy?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah, all right?

Speaker 5 (22:43):
Coming up next here, we are going to have a
conversation about something that appears to be one of the
worst ideas that's ever been come up with in the
world of sports. I mean literally, a horrible idea that
is yours right here ont FSR.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
Be sure to catch live a day of two pros
and a cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington,
and Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up less than fifteen minutes from now, we are going
to have a Monday tradition here on the show. It's
called the FSRR. We are going to report any issues, injuries,
ailments from a long weekend here on the crew. That'll
be yours here on Fox Sports Radio. All right, So

(23:34):
I can't even believe this is a real thing. According
to Pat Forty of Sports Illustrated, the NCAA and there's
momentum building towards the NCAA removing its ban against gambling
on professional sports, multiple sources tell Sports Illustrated the Division

(23:57):
one Board of Directors laid the groundwork for such rule
change last month and is forwarded to the D one
councilor for further discussion next week. If the council is
in favor, it could be fast tracked into existence by
late June. Currently, athletes, coaches, and staff members are not
allowed to wager on professional sports at the college level
seems pretty obvious, but apparently this is opening the door

(24:21):
to potentially allowing that to happen. So, if you are
a college athlete and you're like, man, you know what,
I really think that I could be good at this
sports betting stuff, guess what, maybe you're going to get
to do both. So if you can multitask, apparently that
might be the case when it comes to the college
level and gambling.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Now, well, I mean, I'm all for player empowerment, This, however,
is not one of the things that I'm in favor of.
This is a terrible idea. This is the stupidest thing
that I've seen the NCAA do, and that speaks volumes
about where they're at right now. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
You're going to allow.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
These young people it's not just men, there's women who
bet too. You're gonna allow these young people to develop
a habit to then potentially impact them or have to
kick that habit once they get drafted or once they
sign with a professional team. That is a recipe for disaster.

(25:22):
And furthermore, are you not worried about the potential of
let's just say a guy who's a class ahead of
me or two class ahead of me. I was really
close with them, and now I'm laying some bets in college.
I can just hit up my buddy, or I can
call my buddy and he can give me insider information
about his injury or other players injury, the game plan,
et cetera. I mean, this puts everyone in a terrible position,

(25:45):
whether it's the athletes themselves, the teams, whether at the
university level or at the pro level. The whole thing
is a nightmare. I don't know how and why it's
getting momentum. This is definitely not something i'm I mean,
this is the equivalent of moving that the driving age
to like fourteen and say yeah, let's bulb it down

(26:06):
a couple of years. Well, let's have kids start driving
on the fourteen years old instead of sixteen.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
Can you guys like guess, like what would be the
reason why they would push for this to be allowed,
Like what stability?

Speaker 4 (26:19):
And the NCAA can't win in court, so at this
point they kind of have to take their hands off everything,
like legalize everything, and then hopefully the new entity that's
being started would then be able to put some provisions
around things like this, much like they do at the
professional sports league. So I just that's the only way
this makes sense.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
We'll play about a gambling companies though, Just slid it
right on in there, you know, put that paper, put
that piece in particular, right in between all the rest
of all the major issues that are are being handled
and taking place at the college level. I mean, I
don't even see how this is you know, of any
you know, consequence to what's going on right now. It's

(27:00):
talk about random. How random is this in the conversation
of everything that's going on at the college level right now.
So it's like kind of like, oh, like gambling, like
oka coaches players can gamble. I thought I read only
coaches could gamble, but so coaches and players can gamble
on pro sports. It's like, I don't get it. I

(27:25):
don't get why that even became a like that's a headline.
It's a headline because it makes sense to be a
headline for the sake of a headline. But I don't get,
like where does this come from? Like where who led
the charge on this one? Got to get this one approved?
You know, It's like, I don't doesn't make sense to me.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
I'll be honest with you, I hope I hope it
happens because I just want to see how this is
going to go, because you're going to develop prime degenerate
gamblers who are probably going to piss away their college
dream and athletic dreams because they're like, you know what, man,
it's way much more fun betting on the over of

(28:05):
a Raptors game on a Tuesday night.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
But how are you peeing away? As you mentioned, how
are you? How are you throwing it all away on
gambling on a game?

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Because now all of a sudden, you've got other interests.
You know, some people leave their love of sports for
love of love. Some people leave it to go.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
You know that people have things that they're interested in
doing touring the course of their time of playing. Yeah,
but nothing soon. Do you know that this is not
something new?

Speaker 5 (28:32):
Yeah, but nothing sinks its claws into you, like losing
money and then chasing to get it back.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
You do know that athletes that enjoy that line of
doing things have gambled long before they were in college.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Though, you do know on professional sports, right.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
I'm just saying, you know, throwing dice probably would be
the biggest one card games. I'm just saying gambling is gambling.
Throwing dice and gambling that is gambling. Man. There's a
lot of people that would beg to different.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
From where I come from. Throwing dice is away.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Life just is what it is. You're an idiot, you
would You're an idiot. Y'all don't know. Well, I gotta
be y'all don't know. Say you guys, you guys, don't
you guys don't comprehend what it is that I'm saying
you people, Man, Yeah, I don't been on one lady.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
I just I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
I just I don't know.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
I just don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Why.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Of all the things to look.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
At or change, this is the one that, like, you
know what, we got to open this up to everybody. Strange,
really something strange, man, got to be something more.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
There's there's something yet, there's definitely a rhyme and there's
a reason because of the amount of money that is
involved in what's going on. Let me ask you, guys
this are they able to cause I know right now,
as rules dictated, athletes can't represent gambling entities. Right, They're
not allowed to do like promos for like drafts or

(30:07):
anything like that, right, I mean they would be open
for business to do that now, right?

Speaker 4 (30:14):
I think? So what what would what would prohibit them?
If they're saying they can actively do it, why would
they then not allow them to profit off that and
utilize their nil to promote it if they're.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Able to participate. If that's if that's what they were
going for, then that would make sense. Is where now
you can have athletes at the college level actually endorse
and promote and market for sports books or sports isn't that.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
A slippery slopan and of itself too whole?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Get your.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Right now, get your skis, let's go. I'm telling you
this is gonna be wild. I think it's great.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
I mean just it comes back to the original conversation, though,
if there's not enough structure, there's not enough structure in
place to handle all of this, these quickly developing things
that are utilizing and taking advantage of the college that
being open for business, like this is not enough structure

(31:23):
in place? Not enough, It's not.

Speaker 5 (31:28):
So Which which which college football stadium do you think
will be the first to have a betting sports book?

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Yeah? Like which one will be the first? Like? Which?

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Like of all, you guys have traveled way more than me.
And seeing these fan bases, which one would be the
wildest if you put a betting kiosk at the stadium
for them to get their you know, get their jolly's
going like? Which which college football fan base would you go?
Oh boy, Like, they're now serving beers and you've got
the ability to go gamble.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
We did away with serving beers. We were running amok.
We couldn't even handle it. I think they took the
the st anymore. I believe that they took selling beers
out of the We got it. We got to do
it for one year, and our behavior was probably so bad.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
Those those those white out games got a little dicey a.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Bro poorly behaved, That's all I'm gonna say. Poorly behaved anyway.
I you know, it's it's it's interesting to look at
it that way because I don't I don't know what
the culture is of of hanging outside of your seats

(32:39):
in college like and pros you have like club level
and stuff like that. I guess you're doing they're doing
that now at the college level because they do have
club level and stuff like that. At Penn State, you know.
I don't know. I could clear. I could easily see
in the suites part of any stadium if they have
a big enough stadium where they have suites, that you

(33:02):
put them in the suites, because that's generally where the
people that have money are going to be, where they
could go to a sports book, or go to kiosks
and place their bets, or even make it where you
you know, some of these places don't have very good internet, right,
they don't have good service. You make sure that the
service is good enough where people are able to actually

(33:22):
do like in game live betting, you know, for you know,
whatever it is they want to do. I don't know.
And now that that that asked the question, are you
able to bet on the games that are taking place?
Are you able? If you're an adult, you shouldn't be
limited to just being able to bet, you know, pro games.

(33:43):
The people that are coming to spectate, if they have
a kiosk, they should be able to bet on the
games that are going on on Saturday too. They can.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
The athletes though can't.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
They can't get they can't bet on college and neither
can the coaches. I get that, but you just asked
about a Kiosk and or a sports book in the
in the stadium, you would assume that they're going to
do live bets on games that are going on on Saturday.
Oh yeah, well there you go. So you're you're kind
of you're in doctrinating the audience to betting. You're now

(34:17):
able to start introducing betting to the audience in the stadium.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
I tried to tell you, guys, live bet Jesus was
ahead of his time. Tried to tell you nobody wanted to.

Speaker 4 (34:27):
We real quick though. We get a run of applause
and we're up against it. But I do what acknowledge
one thing? About forty eight forty nine minutes ago? Lee
sent out the tweet for our show beginning. So you're
forgiving that tweet out there?

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Why is that?

Speaker 5 (34:44):
What's what's wrong with that?

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Is there? Where we're an hour two?

Speaker 3 (34:52):
I like to promote each hour, so.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
We're really close on the show.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Well, I did say one for the beginning of the show,
and then.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
One second hour we are one segment away from our three.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
You know, we never saw the first one there, We
only saw one.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Well, Jonas has the privilege of sending out our opening
show tweet.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
No I just do because I know nobody else will.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Well.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Fox Sports Radio retweets it as they do because they're
very generous. And then we and then I said.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
That they're generous to tweet their show. Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (35:28):

Speaker 6 (36:39):
So it's time to get the fsr IR report.

Speaker 5 (36:44):
All right, who's got it?

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Booze wants to share it. I was going up some stairs.
You know how you like try to slide your feet
into your flip flops, your slipper flops as you're going
up the stairs, and you try to do it like
all in at the same time, But sometimes your foot
doesn't go all the way into the flip flop, and
then you trip, and then you gotta go really really,

(37:09):
really really fast in order to try to stay up.
All that happened to me, and I hurt my toe
doing so. Yeah, So there you go. It's a second
time you're hurt up the steps. Second time you hurt
your toe on the show.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
Yeah, what's going on there?

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Is it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (37:24):
I remember you hit it on the uh the parking spot,
cinder block or.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Whatever that We've been doing this show a long time.
I totally split my toe open. I'm doing that. I
didn't split it open though it's not open. I just
kind of like jammed it up a little bit going
up the steps. You know what I'm talking about. Like
you get try to put your shoes, you know, your
feet and your flip flops. But you're going up the steps,
and then you like take a misstep because you don't

(37:51):
have your flip flops all the way on. Then you
got to like start running up the steps. You never
had that. You're not an athlete.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Don't worry about it. Damn, don't worry about I just
don't wear my flip flops upstairs.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
I have house flops. Yeah. But I got you, Lee,
You want to share, Lee?

Speaker 4 (38:12):
What did you do this weekend?

Speaker 3 (38:13):
I got a I was rough housing in the pool
when I got pile drived into the bottom of the pool.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
So I gotta get your head off the bottom.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Yeah, so I got a not on the top of
my head. I think I got knocked out too, because
I don't even remember it, although that there's a couple
of reasons why I might not have remembered it. But
that popular Sam not to laugh? Sam was there not
to laugh?

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Lee?

Speaker 5 (38:39):
Why would you think that's a good idea to get
pile drived at the bottom of the pool.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
What do you think I decided. I thought that was
a good idea.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
Yeah, but you know what, you guys are still together.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
So hey now, I just want to know if Todd
is on the i R after his mission.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Oh, he had a good time.
