One more for you? Boy?

Speaker 4 (01:24):
Oh, that was like there's something of between there.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, that was kind that was kind of like a
Hernia check man. I don't know how I felt about
that one.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
But nonetheless, we are going to take you all the

(01:58):
rack dot com the way tire buying should be. So
we started off the show talking about the scene that
was last night in the desert between the Suns and
the Denver Nuggets. You had nikolea. Jokic get into an
altercation with the Phoenix Sun's owner. He was given a
technical he defended himself, as head coach Mike Malone defended himself.

(02:20):
There's been a back and forth, will there be a suspension, etc.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Etc.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
And then we've got this that has popped up in
the Lakers Warriors series, which is heading into Game four
coming up later on tonight. From thecrypto dot org or
whatever the hell it's called there in downtown Los Angeles.
But apparently there's an issue with the free throw attempts
in this game that's been pointed out. And I know,

(02:46):
Brady Quinn, you did a deep dive on this and
found some proof of this.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Just saying, don't give me credit for me doing a
deep dive. Okay, I'm just regurgitating what is already out there.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I mean, there's according to a Twitter account called Warriors Muse,
all right, so you know, consider the source. But the
free throw attempts in this series thus far is the
Lakers with eighty three and the Warriors with thirty nine,

(03:21):
and the plus forty four is the largest through three
games of a playoff series since the Miami Heat in
two thousand and eleven and twenty eleven, so over a
decade since we've seen anything like this before, and that
has caused some to wonder if there's some favoritism being

(03:42):
directed in the direction of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Right, And there's a further point too that kind of
portrays a difference in how these calls are being made.
This person went on to show the Lakers and Warriors
had the exact same number of drives to the basket
per game this playoffs. They're both sitting about thirty five

(04:07):
per game, and that was going into last night's game.
And so the interesting thing or conclusion that you draw is,
obviously the Lakers are getting more calls to get to
the free throw line as opposed to the Golden State Warriors.
And look, I'm not one to dive into a bunch
of conspiracy theories. I'll just all kind of shoot it

(04:30):
how I see it, And I would say this, the
NBA's ratings have taken a hit.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
All right, we know this.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
So we've talked about this for a long time on
this show. People think that we're NBA haters.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
We're not.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Like, I love basketball. It's still one of my favorite
sports to play it, especially watch. I think the difficulty is,
you know, it's hard during the course of the regular
season because of load management and even sometimes how the
game is played to be as engaged once you in
the playoffs, like.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
I'm all in.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I'm all in. I love it.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
The intensity to it.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
The stars for the most part, are usually out there playing.
Maybe's still some load management going on. But the point
is is it's musty TV. And one of the conclusions
that you draw the more you watch is the game's
changed in in a variety of ways, but it's still compelling.
There's still different storylines to it. But even with all

(05:29):
of that, it's still not getting or garnering the attention.
I mean, last night, for example, you had James Harden
hit a game winner. I mean it was followed up
by a shot by Marcus Smart, who didn't hit it
in regulation, has a chance to win in overtime. The
ball was still in his hand though before he released right.
So a lot of drama, great game. That Boston Philly

(05:51):
series has been a ton of fun to watch, and
as have you know, has every other series for the
most part in the NBA playoffs, But what did we
lead off the show with Joe Kich getting into it
with Ishba, the owner.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
Of the Suns.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Like that is the headlines that seem to draw for
some reason around the league. And it's not hard to
then think.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
That if you are a TV you.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Know, executive, that you're not hoping and if you're the NBA,
you're not hoping that you find a way for one
of the biggest brands to make it to the NBA Finals, Like,
you need a win right now, and the biggest win
that I think you're gonna have is Lebron at this
point in time in his career. Is the Lakers at
this point you know, at this point time, given they are,

(06:37):
you know, outside of the New York Knicks, who are
still around that other big media market, that would obviously
draw and there's Laker nation that that's strong.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
I mean, it's not that hard to think that.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
The NBA, and I'm not saying they're actively involved in this,
but there's not a lot of people who are hoping.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
That it's the Lakers that find their way through the
Western Conference.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Like, I don't think that's going out there too far
on a limb to say that's what the hope is.
Nothing against Denver, nothing against Phoenix, nothing against Golden State.
They've kind of been there, seen that, done that. Like
they would want to see a Lakers team that when
they were back in the bubble, everything was down. You
weren't getting the same ratings, wasn't the same engagement. No
one took it as seriously. Jonah Stilton's Day calls it

(07:16):
at half a championship or hoerever you define it.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
It was the Captain EO Cup. I mean, that's what
it was.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I mean, but I think you see My point is
the TV networks are clamor for it, and the NBA
probably is hoping to some degree it happens, because also
at Lebron's age, you don't know how many more chances
you're going to get for him to be in the
finals with a shot to win it. And I think
this year it's working out right now at least where
they at least have a huge statistical advantage at getting

(07:45):
some free shots at the free throw line.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
And that's not my opinion, that's just fact.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Look at the stats that are.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Wait, are you trying to tell me, are you trying
to say that the NBA is officiating the Lakers differently
because the NBA has a the interest in the Lakers
advancing that it would be better for the brand. Is that?

Speaker 4 (08:05):
I think I took two minutes to say that, but
you were able to accurately summarize.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
In a matter of seconds.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
To take clear here. So so you were calling a
conspiracy that.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
I mean, I said I didn't want to call it that,
you were going to call it that, So you go
go ahead and run with it, but make sure your
name's on it.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Would they clip this later?

Speaker 4 (08:28):
When whoever is responsible Fox Sports Radio for clipping these
headlines that are either obsolete or they go ahead and
attach someone else's name to it.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
They didn't say you want that Dove, way to go, Jonas,
way to knock it down, Jonas.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
It was just an excuse to play the unsolved mystery, Steve,
that's all.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
So what you were saying was you bought the bottle
of bear seven pm. That's what you're saying. So you're
saying you bought the bottle of bear at nine pm,
Brady Quinn, you know you've been messed up, right, Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:04):
What you say? So do you so now that because
this is being talked about, by the way, this isn't
just made up. And if anybody listening, the fanboys that
are Laker fans listening on the Blowtorch a M. Five
to seventy LA Sports, these are real discussions that are
being had by a lot of people who are noticing
the different statistically. So if that's being said, and maybe

(09:27):
the NBA knowing that, yeah, maybe there's some pressure mounting
towards we need to even things up. Would you not
think that maybe they would come back around in Game
four later on tonight and all of a sudden, Golden State.
Now that it's being made public and people are discussing it,
maybe Golden State. It's a few more of those calls.
That's what it feels like. The NBA does that. They

(09:48):
do make up calls in games, and it feels like
one team that might have an advantage one game, if
you get to the next one, maybe they'll try it.
Even things out here.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
I mean, I mean, there's there's definitely elements of golden
What was what was the differential in free throws in
the last night's game, but I think the Lakers got
thirty seven free throw attempts to I believe what is it, seventeen?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Is that accurate?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yeah, golden efforting here.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
So they got the Lakers got twenty more free throw attempts,
which you know, the game was won by thirty. So
you're sitting this thing. It didn't obviously play that big
of an impact in it, but it does in momentum.
It doesn't swings and in different ways I think throughout
the course of the game, and there was no doubt,
you know, I think in the second half it felt

(10:36):
like it was pretty definitive, or maybe second quarter it
felt pretty definitive that things were starting to slide the
way of the La Lakers at that point.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
It is kind of bizarre that the NBA continues to
find themselves in these spots, you know, like there's always
something that pops up to where you look at it
from game to game and you go, how's that happen?
And then everybody discusses it, and it just it always
feels like there's some so sort of controversy or somebody
that continues to hold on to the Tim Donahey and

(11:06):
as we talked about the NFL and them having to
lay the hammer down on these guys that are making
bets even on non NFL games because now gambling is
a part of it all. The perfect example that is
Tim donaghey, and people still don't let that go. They
still are convinced that there are biases that happen in
the NBA, that officials are in on it or at

(11:28):
least have agendas when it goes into officiating a game.
And so when this stuff pops up, the NBA still
has to defend their credibility based on one official who
got popped gambling on games, and then it has consistently
said for a long time now there were other people
involved that are still in the NBA, And yet here

(11:49):
we are again still having the conversation. It feels like
it still pops up all the time. So that being said,
by the way, Warriors plus three tonight.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Apply it to other sports, though, I mean, imagine having
that's sort of huge discrepancy and penalties.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
It always gets brought up.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Yeah, you know, when we talk about NFL games where
there's a big discrepancy in the then the you know,
flags that are thrown for one seam versus the other,
and a huge discrepancy in yards, and how that equates
then to points and sustaining drives.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
It always gets brought up.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
I mean, it seems like for you know, to some degree,
when it's your team that gets that advantage, like everyone's
kind of mum, but it's only a matter of time
before it happens to your team, right, Maybe not if
you're a Lakers fan this year at this point, But
I'm just saying it is a bit odd that the NBA,
you know, for as many games they play, you know,
the officials and as much as you know, they see

(12:37):
the same team, same players, the same type of scheme
and all that you could have that big of a
discrepancy at this point in time in the season.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Are there any other discrepancies refing wise and other games.
I mean, I'm sure we don't want to see the
Heat and the Lakers again, I don't know if we
want to see the you know, I don't know who
who you know they got out of New York and
what that is the if you look at.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
For example, Denver in Phoenix, Phoenix took I believe twenty
nine free throw attempts and you had the Nuggets at
what twenty three? Right, So they're not that far off.
There's not that big of a discrepancy. And look, here's
the thing. Maybe you could say it's an outlier, but
this wasn't like just last night, like this has literally

(13:25):
been so far throughout the playoffs, as you kind of
pointed out, with the Lakers and the Warriors have then
an identical number of drives to the basket, but like
the wars aren't.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Getting the calls and the Lakers are.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Yeah, So it's just it's odd that that's the way
it kind of seemed to work out.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
And if you look.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
At the I believe the Philly in the Boston game,
they had the exact same amount of free throw attempts
last night.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
And it's also it's like in the NFL, when a
team doesn't run the ball in comparison to another team, well,
the game kind of dictates whether or not you throw
that out the window. If you're trailing, you're obviously not
going to run the balls much or rush the balls off,
and because you're trying to get back into the game.
In the NBA, in a one off situation, it's not
foreign to think that one team would have significantly more

(14:09):
free throw attempts than the other because the other one's
trying to play catch up and shoot a bunch of threes.
And so the counter to well, Golden State's a jump
shot team, so of course they're not going to have
as many free throw attempts. And as you point out,
if they're going to the basket the same amount of
times and not getting the calls. But one team is
what else is it like? It just like all the

(14:30):
proof is pointing in that direction, so you know, and
then also, by the way, your Miami Heat are going
to be playing later on tonight, Brady Quinn. That's right,
Game four up to one on the Knicks.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, and by the way, can't be good for ratings?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
What just can't be appreciating or the heat?

Speaker 2 (14:50):
What do you mean they can't be great for ratings?

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Jimmy Buckets isn't good for ratings?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
No?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Come on, no? Yeah, but you know people in the
NBA want to go to Miami to cover the finals.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
I mean, ideal scenario for the NBA is Knicks Lakers,
Like that would be the biggest ratings they've had in
for us.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
So I don't think it's a Lakers or Celtics.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Lakers would be well, but the Knicks bigger market market. Yeah,
you're worried about the market.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
I mean, think about how nuts Madison Square Garden would be.
I mean so many you know fans who actually aren't
like you know fans, but they're there. I mean, you'd
be the Battle of East and West of the fake fans,
you know, people who just go to the game to
be seen or actually fans.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I mean, how could you do that?

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Well, I'm just I'm just saying.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
You get all those people show up for the game
and they're like, hey, where were you back in January.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Were you coming to Knicks games back then?

Speaker 3 (15:40):
No, just going coast to coast everything.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Going on in that area right now too. Yeah, go
can'ts formula some Formula one and going on the Cats?
Yeah three oh man yats Cats there to the top.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Beliefs for like, hey Man finally got over the hurdle
past the first round, no problem in round two? Oops?

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Oops?

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yeah, nothing good.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
For them though.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
That's karma for all the bad drivers that come down
in the South Florida.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
And now Canada is kidding so la got it? New
York and now Kansas and Brady Quinn.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
You see those Canadian plates driving out lookout? All right,
it's a they're like that that whole I don't know
what's going on.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Leaps.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
They could do is improve their drive and go to
tire raq.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
You know what. I maybe they're too polite.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Yeah, maybe that's it.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I hear you.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, Brady QUINNIONAO to the air, What
what up? You wreck? All right? So coming up next though,
could there have been shade thrown at one organization in
the NFL. We'll get into that for you. Right here
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe Here Fox Sports Radio,
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you coming up.
Twenty minutes from now, we are going to have another
edition of You In or You Out. To stick around
for that as we close up shop here on a
Monday from the tairaq dot com studios, we are going
to get into potential shade being thrown in the NFL.

(17:27):
Wouldn't be the first time we've heard it coming up
here momentarily. Uh Berto has been called out on Twitter
though by the FSR crank Shuttle uh oh, who says
it Burto carries the water for the La Lakers. Is
that true, BeRTOS?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
That's true?

Speaker 3 (17:42):
This is I feel like you're you're unbiased in your
ones that you carry the water for the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
That are you even a Lakers fan? Berdo?

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Of course I am, yeah, oh yeah, but yeah, you
call out your teams, you call out Dave Roberts and
the Dodgers all the time.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
I think that's I'm not passionate about the Lakers them
with the Dodgers obviously.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Oh yeah, you're you're not about Twitter right now because
the Dodgers, right, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
But then you're a Raiders.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Fan, which doesn't make as much sense for I guess
you don't.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Really have a Hey that video you recorded though, it
was kind of fire man. Where we go? What park
was Giant? I had them switches on.

Speaker 8 (18:23):
Racist by the way, I just walk into something that
I'm so uh.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
There's a like a gift. It's like this video that's
been I mean it's been around for years. There walking
up the.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Walking in the park with with his homie on the
sixth switches.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
There's a there's a there's a Mexican guy who's who's dressed.
He's got like he's got he is, he's got Dicky's on,
he's got the check.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, he got on some chucks.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
He got the chuck and he's doing is it the
sea walking?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yeah, he was walking. Well I don't know if there's
a seawalk, but he was definitely man might have been walking.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
That's what that's what it was.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
What you mean, I'm up on these things affairs.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
It's called the it's called the v Walk, not the
sea walk. But so LeVar said it over in our
texture was like, what do you say, Berto? Is that you.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Berto was celebrating the draft. That was a scene.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Oh good, oh man.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
He was aggressive with it though he was hitting it,
though he was he was getting.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
After ye But on the real the Warriors and the
Giants and everything everybody else from Bay there you go.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
See now the real perto is coming out. So Berto
is all in, all in favor of the the free
throws and all that.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Finally jump shooting team.

Speaker 7 (19:54):
So did we just from three the last game?

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Maybe we made some more threes that would have won
that game. Right, Yeah, that.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Played a factor.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
But are you really trying to say there wasn't an
incredibly unbiased amount of fouls that were called in favor
of the Lakers.

Speaker 7 (20:09):
I'm saying the Warriors, but that's what I'm saying at
the Giants. See, that's why they call him fair and balanced.
Burdo is fair balance.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Do not let logic get in the way of any
of this.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
There's there's no agendas here, Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
This is it the crank shuttle come out after I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I wanted like it's one of Jonas has created. No,
it's not created.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Why do you keep denying it?

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Jonahs?

Speaker 5 (20:33):
And everyone knows it.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
It's not a secret of those all of those.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Here's the best part of He does his show on Saturdays,
and then you check Jonas' Twitter account on Saturday afternoon evening,
it's all him retweeting these ridiculously foul mouth things people
say to him, and he's.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Like, what you not my accounts like, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Literally, during the course of the week, no one talks
to Jonas the way they talked to him on a Saturday.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
It's just odd that it happens emotion on Saturdays. As
what we do with the JKS. I don't have to
tell you.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
You know what's interesting about the JKS show. What's that
that you're so serious when you do the JKS show,
Like your your deliveries, your your structure of the show.
Profession it's very very high level, it's very high end,
very different than how you run this show and do
on this show. I found I find that observation to

(21:23):
be a tabit interesting and maybe a tabit perplexing it.
It's a great point.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
I feel like you never know what you're going to discover.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
You know, when you walk in on Jonas's show and
you find out he's a completely different person, that's he's different.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
I mean, he really is a different dude, like and
you know he would tell you it's because he's allowed
to be Jonas Knox on the Jonas Knox Show.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Yeah, well that's what he would tell everyone. I mean
to Brady's point of the things you discover on the JKS.
And speaking of which, at the end of your first year,
Discover credit cards automatically double all the cash back you earn.
That's right, everything you learn doubled. Seriously, c terms and
check it out for yourself with Discover dot com forward
slash Match. All right, so Brandon Bean, we talked about

(22:03):
this a little bit earlier. We we mentioned this earlier
just you know, sort of the Roster Bill because it
feels like the Buffalo Bills are kind of in a
tough spot, like it feels like there's it's a weird situation.
It feels a little odd the way things ended with
Stefan Diggs, and we've talked about just sort of the
back and forth. And you know, Josh Allen was at
some minor league baseball game hitting bombs all weekend and

(22:27):
with the softball. Pretty impressive stuff there. Just taking some hacks.
Looked like Brady Quinn back in the day at the
Dublin Derby they used to do every year, they used
to do a Dublin homes we did. Yeah, that's what
he did, didn't you Derby?

Speaker 4 (22:44):
So I hope you go there one day and just
walk into a bar and someone kicks your ass.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I really do.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
I'm not I'm not sure that exists anymore because I'm
not sure like there's like people have that type of demeanor.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
But I really hope that. What's a problem the Dublin Derby.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
That's I just want you to come back, come back
for the charity event, so at least you could look
like you're doing something good. And then I'm gonna send
you to a local dive bar and as have you
walk in and I'll be like, Hey, that's the d
bag right there, that's Jonas.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I mean, these sort of threats I feel are borderline inappropriate,
but hold on. Brandon Bean, the general manager for the
Buffalo Bills. He was talking with Jim Rome recently about
their roster build. And I don't know if this is
a shot at the La Rams and less Snead and
Ram fans listening here as they wake up for their
Monday morning on the blow towards AM five to seventy
LA Sports. But take a listen and tell me how

(23:36):
this lands with everybody else.

Speaker 9 (23:38):
There's some moves that we could do that just say, hey,
we're just gonna go all in for this year and
have a teardown. But we're you know, we've been very
diligent in how we've done the cap and we're trying
to avoid that type of situation. You know, it's not easy,
especially when you get you know, top paid quarterback, you know,
how to day receiver, vond and Trey White, some of

(24:00):
these guys. But ultimately, we think we've we've got a
plan to continue to go for it the year after
year and and hopefully we can find a way to
you know, pull that title home for Buffalo here sooner
rather than later.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
So some people took that as you know, maybe taking
a little bit of a dig at the Rams and
to tear down and all that stuff. Didn't Jerry Jones
do the same thing last year. He brought up the
Rams they go all in for one year and then
have to tear it down. Anybody can say whatever they want.
Whatever the Rams plan was, it worked, right. I mean

(24:35):
they want a super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I mean for a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Ye, but they won a super Bowl. Like whatever.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Anybody wants to say, go on, well come on, I
ask your question.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Well no, but whatever anybody wants to say, they went
to a super Bowl. They went to a super Bowl
and won a super Bowl. And the Cowboys have.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Some other teams and that's more than some other teams
in recent years agreed.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Okay, And I think if you asked that fan base,
they would take it and say, I mean, I don't
know how many of that fan base is like have
to think they're still at the Super Bowl parade, but
I think they would look at it and go, you know,
that's fine if we're going to have to not be
competitive for a couple of years afterwards or do things differently.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
I just is that how every fan base you think,
feels like you'd take that super Bowl and then like ford.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
Years of just stinking yes, like not being any good.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Yeah, I mean, as Cubs fans like they went all
in for that World Series and they really weren't close afterwards.
And in fact, the Cubs World Series win was so
monumental it bailed the Bears out because Cub fans are like, yeah,
the Bears suck, but you know, at least we want
a World Series and everything else was forgiven. Like if

(25:41):
if you're any other team in the NFL, if you
ask Brandon bean, hey, if you want to go all
in this year, you could potentially win a Super Bowl.
Like we can say with everyone about less sneed. But
they got aggressive when other teams didn't. Von Miller and
Jalen Ramsey and Matt Stafford and all the other moves
they made. I look at it and I go, whatever
happens from here on out. It was a success. They

(26:03):
won a Super Bowl, Yeah, I mean they won, and
they went to two.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Like That's the other thing is they essentially applied that
strategy twice.

Speaker 5 (26:09):
In a window of time. I think it's unique though.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
To the owner that you have, because you also have
to have an owner that's got the ability.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
To just shell out cash.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
I mean, you hear about the formula all the time,
cash over cap and what they're essentially saying is you've
got to have an owner who's going to sign a
bunch of players with gigantic signing bonuses so that way
it can reduce their capits so you can make it
fit within the structure. If you don't have you know,
Stan Kronky as your owner, it might be more difficult
to make that happen. But you know, again there's other

(26:41):
owners who have deep pockets and can do that sort
of thing. But it would beg the question why more
organizations don't try to do it. Like, if you're Cleveland,
you signed to Sean Watson to that deal, wouldn't you
just say, Okay, we're going to overspend for everyone for
the next few years while we're in this window, if
you're gonna get lots.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
In that contract, Like absolutely right.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
I mean, but I think I think the difference with
the Bills is look very similar to the Kansaity Chiefs.
You've got one of the top quarterbacks in the league,
Like there's building around that player, and then there's you know,
trying to throw a bunch of money in.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
It to make it happen. I don't, I don't.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
I mean, Kansas City doesn't feel like they need to
do that. Maybe the Bills don't feel like they need
to do that because they've got Josh Allen and they
can supplement other spots and they've drafted well and they've
developed well, and that's part of the equation too.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Like I always kind of look at you know what
the Rams did.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
You say, Well, yeah, they had that window of time
where they got to two, they won one.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
They put a lot of money into it.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
But you know, how many guys are you saying or
are going there and developing as a RAM necessarily? I mean,
maybe that's just not Maybe they don't feel like that's
even possible in today's NFL because the cutdown off season.
Maybe they maybe they're ahead of the curve and saying, look, man,
these guys get here and we work with them a
little bit, but they pretty much are what they are, Like,
we're not changing them into some completely different player because

(27:58):
we just don't have the amount of time him to
do that. And if maybe if things changed, we would,
but that's that's not a strategy we can implement and
be effective at doing that.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Yeah, I just especially if you're Cleveland at this point,
don't you just sign Antonio Brown? Like what? What?

Speaker 6 (28:14):
What?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
More harm could you do?

Speaker 2 (28:15):
You know, see this is something you do on the
JKS show. What do you like? You know there? You
wouldn't do that.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
I would tease it.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
I mean apparently rock Bottom would have a basement.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
That's how I described it.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
By the way, quote of the century from somebody getting
popped for a d u y uh and uh talks
like a vent trillo Quist. Do you notice that as
well too? Or maybe that was just the booze, but
very odd delivery from her.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
It was very very profound though I ain't gonna that
cop was over it though, like oh yeah, it's like
you're not creating content off this. Yeah, yeah, we're gonna
go ahead and walk you on again. I said this
in the text.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
I'll say this publicly, like what is wrong with our society?

Speaker 3 (28:57):
A lot?

Speaker 4 (28:58):
You're getting popped for a d uy and you're creating
content for your TikTok, for your in Like, there is
something wrong with you if that's what goes in your
brain when you're annihilated and you're being arrested for a
d uy and your thought is someone filmed this. I'm
gonna make some content out of this, Like what is

(29:20):
wrong with yuilty?

Speaker 2 (29:21):
They got me because apparently rock Bottom has a basis.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Oh man, it is two pros and a cup of Joe.
Here Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you. We are gonna have another edition of You
In or You Out coming up here shortly. But for
all the latest from around the world of sports, there's
no rock Bottom with this guy, no basement either. He
explodes through the ceiling. He's Edmond Garcia. Wow.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Either, but you know you go through that ceiling.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Yeah, yeah, it explodes through.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Just exploding through that ceiling used.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
A different word.

Speaker 10 (30:01):
But just don't do those sound effects of you, like,
you know, bench pressing and stuff while I'm doing the update.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
I'm a pro.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
I can handle a lot of things.

Speaker 10 (30:11):
I don't know if I could make.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It through that though.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Do better than how Finley did over the last week.
Oh right now, okay.

Speaker 10 (30:18):
NBA playoffs we had a pair of game fours in
the second round. The seventy six ers edge of the
Celtics won sixteen one to fifteen in overtime. James Harden
forty two points and hit the game winning three pointer
with nineteen seconds left in overtime for Philadelphia and the MVP.
Joel and Beat added thirty four points and thirteen rebounds.
Jason Tatum had twenty four points, Jalen Brown twenty three points.
Marcus Smart almost won it for Boston in the overtime

(30:41):
hit a three pointer, but replay showed that it was
still on his fingertips did not release it before the
clock hit zeros So the series is tied to two
to two. In the Eastern Conference semi Final, Suns get
by the Nuggets one twenty nine, one twenty seven For Phoenix,
Deven Booker had thirty six points and twelve sisteven Kevin
Durant added thirty six points and eleven rebounds. Denver Is
Star Nikoliogic had fifty three points and eleven assists. Also

(31:04):
got a technical foulit he bumped a fan courtsite turned
out to be the owner of the Suns, matt Ishpia.
The series is tied to two to two. Every team
that's won so far has been the home team. NHL
Stanley Cup Playoffs, we had three game threes. In the
second round. The Panthers edge the maple LEAs three two
in overtime on a Sam rein.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Art gold and sudden death.

Speaker 10 (31:21):
Florida takes a commanding three to zero series lead, and
only four teams in RENHL history have come back from
down three to nothing to win a series. Devils over
the Hurricanes eight to four. Jack Hughes two goals, two
assists for New Jersey. Say you get a big win,
Carolina that still leads the series two games to one.
He had the Kraken scoring five goals in the second period,
beat the Stars seven to two. Seattle takes a two
to one lead in the series. In Major League Baseball,

(31:42):
the Braves walk off of the three to two and
over the Orioles in twelve. Dodgers down to Padres five
to two. In ten, it was the Rays beating the
Yankees eight to seven. In ten, Blue Jays beat the
Pirates ten to one. Toronto gets a three games series sweep,
and Pittsburgh's lost seven in a row but still in
first place in the NL Central. Philly's down the Right
Socks six to one. Boston's eight game winning Street comes
to an end, while the Cardinal stab an eight game

(32:04):
losing his kid with a twelve six win over the Tigers.
Paul Goldsmid three home runs for Saint Louis and the
Guardian shut off the Twins two nothing. Cal Quantrill for
Cleveland took a no hitter in the seventh. He and
two relievers combined on a one hit shut up. Now
back to Brady, Quinn Warrington and Jonas Knox in the
Tirerack dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studios.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Thanks Eddie, two pros and a cup of Joe here

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Yes, yes, Brady, How are.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
We pronouncing Matt ishpia or ish You've said it a
couple of different ways. I was taking your lead. I
was called him Ishbia or whatever the hell I said
the first time. Then I said Ishbah. How are we
pronouncing his name?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
I call him Matt?

Speaker 10 (32:39):
You know, changing up every time, Brady, We're bound to
get one of them.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Right, Yeah, it's a new audience. You could do whatever
you want.

Speaker 10 (32:45):
I think it's Ishbia, but I'm not going to bet
my life.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
On ye Ye.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yeah, Ok, Hey, Matt, stay out of Jok's way. Sun's owner. Yeah,
and he does.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
Have one T in his name, right, is it?

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Matt? With one tier? Two.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
Yeah, that is wrecked by the way, which one. I'm
following Leeve's lead because Lee just threw a thumb up
on radio, so that's always good. I was just following
his lead on it being one te so.

Speaker 11 (33:17):
That is correct one.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
So there.

Speaker 5 (33:18):
I don't know any other mats with one.

Speaker 11 (33:20):
T and it's and it's Matthew too with like the
full Matthew one T.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (33:25):
Oh wow, wow interesting.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
I'll tell you because of that altercation, got a tea.

They're in at least or hit they're out all right,
lead to laugh.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
What do we got?

Speaker 11 (35:22):
Dude's an update on a story we did last week
where the Giants had come back from their trip to
uh the San Francisco Giants, let me be clear, came
back from their trip from Mexico City and the whole
team had the runs. You could replace the runs with
a different word. Well, the company Dude Wipes has stepped
in and sent over one hundred cases of said dude
wipes to help with the problems to them.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Yes, that's a breath mint for your butt right there.

Speaker 11 (35:48):
So it sounds sounds from the sound of it, Brady,
that you are in on dude wipes.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Oh yeah, come on now, I'm like, you know.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
For certain some people call it the golden wipe.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
When you got some dude wipes involved, I think we
need by the way, based on the people on our show,
we can get a sponsorship with dude wipes.

Speaker 11 (36:04):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Yeah, I'm talking to you, Pale.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
I mean you know, I mean they're not a sponsor,
so I'm not in. Lee, I'm out now until I mean,
unless they want to be a part of the what
we're doing here. Unless that happens. I'm out.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
You're a skip Mark shorty. That's why. Like you see me,
I ain't in all that. So I like having wipes.
I like short that everything is fresh and clean. Okay,
what did you just call me skip Mark shorty?

Speaker 3 (36:28):
I mean berto, we're going to take that here like
that's accepted here, like even on a Monday, we're going
to accept that accepted.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Like you just said, you're out.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Yeah, I mean they're not a sponsor.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Thank Your toilet tissue doesn't always get the job done
if you hadn't noticed.

Speaker 11 (36:44):
Are you in or out on a big day?

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Yeah? Absolutely, I'm out on that as well.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
So see skip Mark short No, I don't want a
super soaker aimed at my ass. That's what.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
I mean. You could use that problem.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
I don't. I'm not interested. That just seems weird.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
I think it's weird that you don't want that.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Man, Listen, I'll just go find new underwear. At that point,
I don't need all that. I don't need the big
You ever got a K?

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Have you ever got a hydro k? What are we
talking about? Have you ever done it? I'm just saying,
have you ever done it?

Speaker 4 (37:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Man, you gotta keep your colding clean man, not that
I don't know. You show the hood in you sometimes,
Q like that that that was real hood. Just now, man,
I'm telling you that was real. I show North Hills,
I show Ross townships sometimes like we get we get Kalonic.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
That was real hood. I mean, Berto, that was hood.
That was hood.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Q was real hood.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
I mean, let me apologize on me. You are here
for that language, Brady, No, what else were gonna guys?

Speaker 11 (38:03):
It's no socks day so I know Levars in on this,
but are you guys in on no socks day out?

Speaker 3 (38:09):
I don't know socks.

Speaker 11 (38:10):
I don't even know necessarily what it means. But did
some research.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
I don't wear socks.

Speaker 11 (38:15):
The first socks were ancient Greeks where they would use
matted hair for socks. For anyway, no socks day today.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
You imagine how bad their feet smelled back then if
they were using hair as socks it I mean, yeah,
not not the Rex. Ryan was born in the right
era that he didn't have to deal with all that
back then. Based on some of his.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Personal likes, maybe he wasn't more flavor, you know.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Bernousio Susio, By the way, what are you waving it.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
Back.

Speaker 11 (39:01):
Yes, oh no, maybe.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
He needs that boord day.

Speaker 8 (39:16):
Lee.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
How's it going to there?

Speaker 5 (39:21):
That went back quick the studio.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Damn studio lasted about a week and a half. It's
got burdowed.

Speaker 11 (39:31):
I should have saved that anyway, Guys, I was getting
my Bloody Mary on this week. You guys into Bloody Mary's.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
And no, actually out no, not in bloody Mary.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
If I want to get cheese sandwich and and eat
it with with my ma, why do you pivot there.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Johnas Because I was confusing that with a Mitchellta I'm
a Mitchellana guy, not a not a bloody Mary guy.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
Sound like a lot of sometimes.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
Oh god, we're gonna accept that here in the air. Yeah,
that's acceptable here on the air. I'm just saying there's
a lot of complaining from your end, a lot of
complained from your end going on.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Bitch a lot. By the way, let's market that along
with LeVar Islands, we've now got a growing beer fridge
and alcohol fridge developing here on the show. The sponsor opportunities.
