Speaker 3 (01:16):
How we should just get an ooh, just everybody out
there that's in your car or wherever it is, your office,
your cubicle, the crib, the weight room.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
You get a nice little uh in. It just makes
you feel good.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
By the way, So I don't go to gyms anymore, No,
because well it's too it's so early when I'm working
out that nothing's open. Nothing's open, and I don't want
to take the chance.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
There's no such thing as twenty four hour fitness really
being twenty four hours.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, Like once the pandemic hit, like then all of
a sudden, the hour started to change. The twenty four
hour gyms that were open like would close at eleven
and open back up at five. It was just kind
of weird. And that's like right in the middle of them,
we're doing the show. So it just wasn't possible for
and I work out. But when you go to gyms now,
are people like I actually have two questions for you.
(02:05):
Are there some people who still wear masks? And yes,
that's insane. And two do you ever hear somebody making
noise and look at them and go that can't be real,
Like they're trying, they're lifting and they're making a grunt
or a sound that's that that clearly they're showing off.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I have headphones on, okay, so you know, nois canceling.
I got those those those Apple AirPods and they cancel
so I don't hear anything.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
And here's the other thing too, when people drop their weights.
They've got heavy weights and they just drop them on
the floor, like actually try and contain the weight and
bring it all the way down, because that's actually working
muscles that are fatigued in the moment after you've already
done your lift, and you're gonna get more out of
it than just dropping it. It's kind of a lazy
move to just drop all that weight on the ground.
(02:58):
You know, I'm talking about I.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Do that all the time.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
No, He's like, oh, yes, you and Latimer can get
away with it. Nobody else can.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
You know.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I've always felt like if you can go above like
a hundred pounds and dumbbells and stuff like that, you
can drop them like some you know, the bodybuilders, they
drop them.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
You know, they go heavy. But if you if you're holding.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Forty five pounds or you know, fifty pounds, thirty pounds
and you just drop them.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Bad boys, that's that's that's flake grant.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
It's a bit much. That's that's good. Plus to fly around,
you know, they're like they could you know, hit somebody nearby.
It's just it's it's a bad, bad look. All the
way through.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
My gym is pretty interesting though, Like there's a few
high school kids you can tell they go to the
same high school. They'll interact, but for the most part,
there's only a few, Like there's only a few of
everything in there, and literally maybe some just singular machines
and stuff like that, and you got a whole gym
(04:11):
of people that don't really interact nobody.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Like I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
If it's cause of COVID or what, but people do
not really like interact.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Good. No socializing good.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
It's no, it's no socializing.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
That's great.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Like you don't you don't see somebody just sitting on
the machine that you're waiting on and somebody's got their
foot on the machine and they're talking to the person
sitting at the machine and they're having like a ten
minute conversation and they forgot that that wasn't a seat
to lounge it and it was actually you know, something
you should be using to to actually you know.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Work out and no self awareness to understand that.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
People some people are waiting for it. Yeah, so I mean.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Actually people will ask you like are you done yet?
Like I always look at people, I'm like, do you
like if you had to ask me, am I done?
Chances are I'm not finished yet, But since you ask me,
you can have it. Like that's that's my thing in
the gym, Like I'll just move on anybody if you
(05:17):
somebody comes up and ask me. I could be in
the middle of my set. Are you done? Are you
Are you almost done?
Speaker 4 (05:23):
No? But you can have it, and I'll just leave
and go somewhere.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Else and then make it feel like crap.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Well, it's kind of like it's like, why are you coming,
like all these other people in this gym, why are
you approaching me to ask me?
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Am I done? Like it's almost like it's almost like
you know.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
What you have? You have Jim. You have Jim observers
and they're in the gym and they're like, huh.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
What should I do next? Well?
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Who looks like what I want to look like? Oh,
that big one over there, I think I'm going to
do what he's.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Look at him.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I think that'll get me looking the way I want
to look, So I'm gonna go. You do what he's doing,
and then it's like, you know, it's so I almost
had to break up a fight between Heath, Heath Evans
and Evans right and that his last name and a
guy this is just a guy in the gym, because
(06:24):
the guy in the gym was doing that like he
was on his cell phone, he was taking calls, he
was he was on the squad rack and he had
to wait on there, and he had his stuff on
there so you couldn't use it.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
But he literally was.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Gone for like he was gone, and Heath moved his stuff,
loaded it up, started doing his reption. The dude came
back and they didn't take too kindly to one another's
actions to.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Balls, don't leave your stuff there. You can't just walk
away when somebody's waiting in line to use it.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
It's kind of crazy, man.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
This crazy, like the amount of entitlement you see people exercise.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
And I seen one dude. I seen one dude the other.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Day and I was like, I was like, if this
was like high high tide, like this would not fly.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
But he put his his water and his towel on.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
One machine was walking across to another machine, doing that machine,
and then walking back to the machine man that he
put his stuff on.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
So he was he was, he was holding up two machines.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
That's the worst I was.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
You know.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
It's just sometimes I just I'll be in there though,
I'd be in my own little zone.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
But how long ago was the Heath Evans Near fight.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
That's been years, That's that's that's been Like I was
still living in Manhattan Beach when that happened, so that's
been many years.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Wondering what he was up too late, that's all just curious.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Yeah, he was a good dude. Does anybody recognize you
at the gym?
Speaker 4 (07:58):
I don't believe so.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, I think they do. They're just intimidated.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
I don't believe.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
So I'm I walk in, I had my hat pool down,
I have my headphones on, I had my my hoodie on.
I will say I do wear Penn State stuff all
the time. So if they were to look up big
black Dude and glendor Penn State, I might pop up.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Right, Kerry Collins is not popping up on their phone
when they look that up.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
I don't think.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I don't think anybody recognized me, recognizes me. I'm in
the you know they probably know rams.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah yeah, yeah, not happening. Yeah, So here's what.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
I lift in peace.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah yeah. Plus you got that titanium rod in your
forearm flaring off the sensors at airports, nobody wants to
step Well.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
If I forearm you, it might hurt.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
That's all I'm gonna say.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Speaking of what might hurt is Game four for the
Miami Heat, because Game three, sure did. They did not
look all that hot once second did it made a
little push late in the game to get it close,
but that was all kind of fugazy. It was all Denver.
Nikola Jokic was fantastic, triple double yet again, phenomenal stuff.
(09:12):
And I was thinking about a comp for NIKOLEA Jokic.
And remember Tim Duncan. When Tim Duncan would get his
it was really quiet, didn't say a whole lot, just
kind of went and did what he had to do.
The titles were there. He won a couple of MVPs,
And when I watched Nikola Jokic, I kind of get
(09:34):
the same vibe is when I watched Tim Duncan. It's
just sort of you look at the stats afterwards, and
you go, oh, look at that. The double double quietly
can score at will, can kind of do what he wants.
Except the more I think about it, I think Jokic
is a better player than Tim Duncan. Now I don't.
He hasn't done what Duncan's done in the league yet
because he doesn't have the longevity. But from a skills standpoint,
(09:57):
Duncan was more of a scorer. He wasn't the passer
yok was. He didn't have the outside game that Jokic did.
I just I look at this and I go, we're
watching one potentially an all time great player, to where
when I go down the track of what's a comp
somebody that reminds me of Jokic, Like, you could do
Dirk Novitsky, you could do a Tim Duncan, you could
do all of these guys. I think he's better than
(10:19):
all of them. And so if he were to go
out here and win a title, this, this puts him
on the path towards a level of greatness in the
NBA to where I think he's the best player in
the league right now. I don't know that anybody would
dispute that, but the way he's playing and the show
he's putting on on this type of stage, like we're
talking about all time stuff. When it comes to Nick Nikola,
(10:40):
Jokic just fantastic.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
It's hard to debate it.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I mean, you're looking at a guy like Joel Embiid
who shows that that skill level to be able to
take his game all the way outside. But I got
to be honest with you, I think of guys like
Kevin Garnett, you know that we're able to really start
revolutionizing being that type of a player, or Kevin Durant.
(11:09):
You know, we may not want to look at Kevin
Durant as a power forward, but he is. Like you're
talking about a guy that's that's dang there, seven foote
that's that's showing a skill level that that's that's just
very unique. So to me, there are guys that are
(11:30):
comparable that probably have more too comparable skill to Jokic
at his size. I just think that we've never seen
somebody of his size that's able to do all the
things that he's doing at the skill level that he
does it with so little athleticism. I think that that's
(11:52):
what's what's very unique about him is that his athleticism
doesn't doesn't match that of what you would think a
dominant player in the league would be. He's not explosive.
It's just fluid, you know. It's just he's just he's
just flowing with it. And and you know what, like.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Sometimes there aren't comps. You know, sometimes you just don't.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
You don't look at a guy and they it's it's like, okay,
this is this is what this guy reminds me of
because they're the first, they're the first iteration of it.
I think Jokic is just he's the first of his kind.
So I wouldn't want I wouldn't want to take away
from the brilliance of another player because in a lot
(12:40):
of ways, it's an apples and Oranges comparison.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
There's a lot of Bird to him. But Bird wasn't
this big, Like.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
He's not as big, right, And he wasn't playing. Bird
wasn't going down in the trenches like that, you know,
he wasn't he wasn't orchestrating offenses and facilitating from the trenches.
Jokis will go right down in the trenches and handle
the bigs.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
And you mentioned you mentioned Jokis could play at this
level for a long long time, because it doesn't feel
like he's putting still a lot of damage.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Like it's just his speed is so slow.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Like Bird's career was cut short because he would dive
on the floor and would get you know, aggressive for
loose balls and he had the back issues. Like Bird
only played if I have this correct, he only played
thirteen years, which you know you say only thirteen years,
but like if you if you said today that a
player in the NBA walked away at thirty four years
old or thirty five, it would feel kind of young.
(13:38):
Like Jeff Green. They were talking about it last night.
He's been in the league since what five and he says,
I want to play it in on my forties. Like
Bird's body couldn't hold up. Jokic seems like to your point,
he could play this at this level.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
He's like sixties.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Yeah, like sc why it's like it's like a pickup.
All he's got to do is be able to get
up and down the court. And yeah, he moves like
he's already. I mean, I'm saying he doesn't move like
look like he's sixty, but he's moving at that speed.
He doesn't He's not fast he doesn't do anything quick.
He doesn't do anything fast. He just scores and he
(14:16):
gets assists, and he's in position and he's strong and
he gets rebounds.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Like that's what he does.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
He's got great touch on the ball, so wherever he's shooting,
he can shoot from weird angles, he's going to make it.
You know, he shoots off balance, he's going to make it.
He's got good soft touch on the ball. Now you're
trying to stop him. Now he's facilitating, So now he's passing.
Guys are getting open shots that they're knocking them down.
You got to jump out on them. So now they're
(14:44):
going back to jokics Like it's just they have. They
have figured out a very nice balance in Denver. And
like I said earlier on in our one, the one
thing that came out of the game that I really
enjoyed hearing was we're not a one guy team, but
we know who our one guy is.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
Like that's super.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Dope because because Murray is a guy, he is a guy,
and in some cases he would be the guy. But
this is almost like again, you made the comp of
KD and Russell Westbrook, right, Well, imagine imagine if Russ
knew that KD was the guy. Imagine if Surgeon and
(15:31):
Harden and those guys said, you know what, we're not
a one guy team.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
We're not, but we know who our one guy is.
That's Kevin Durant. If they had.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Took that, if they had took that approach, they probably
would have won at least three or four championships at least.
But they didn't have that mentality, and I think that
that was problematic, and they don't have that problem in Denver.
This could be you could be seeing something developed where
if they those guys could stay healthy. Because if Jamal
Murray was healthy, I think that was last year it
(16:04):
was either last year. I think it was last year
he went they went to the playoffs with him injured, right, yeah, yeah,
I believe. So again, if you don't have Jamal Murray,
you know, am I saying that's that's correct?
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Right Anyway, If you don't.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Have his presence, if you don't have his his production,
this team isn't as good as they could be. As
good as Joker is, this team is not as good
as it could be. So you need to have that presence.
You need to have the presence of a few of
those guys that are on that team to make the
team go the way that it goes. But make no
(16:42):
mistake about it, Joker's skill level, his ability to dominate
in multiple categories is I mean, it's just it's definitely legendary.
It's definitely going to lead to him being considered one
of the greatest players of all time if he continues
(17:03):
to do this with longevity.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah, And for the Star for the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler,
he spoke after last night's game about just his disappointment
and how the Heat came out to start the game.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
I feel like we just got to come out with
more energy and effort and that's correctable, and that's on
us as a as a group. No x's and o's
can fix that. So, you know, come out and dive
on the floor, get loose balls, get defensive rebounds, and maybe,
just maybe it would have been a different game.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Now. Do you think that part of the reason why
they came out flat is because of that awful michelob
Ultra commercial that Jimmy Butler's in where he's singing that
terrible Hoody and a Blowfish song on a plane was
running during the game.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Like it's possible that that could have played a part
in it.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Man, just wondering just what that was.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
I must say I doubt it's.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Say I would say I doubt that.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
But by the way, they came to me and said, so,
here's here's your role. We're gonna have you on a
plane and you're gonna have to sing along to Hoody
and the Blowfish. Hello.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Yeah, but he probably before.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
They probably finish, requested that though Hoody and the Blowfish,
that's probably the song he wanted them to play. Man,
you know, because there's been this whole big thing about
how he likes country western music and I don't even
know that you would.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Country.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I was about said, I don't know that you would
categorize that country, but it kind of had that.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Darius rock country right, Yeah, he went country afterwards. But
Hoody in the Blowfish like that that is not country
at all. Like, that's just that that's a poor musical selection,
uh for for that commercial in my mind. So I
think that's part of the prom here. I think part
of the issue is that Jimmy Butler lacked energy and
(18:51):
focus because he was so worn down by the criticism,
probably from some of his teammates for the awful selection
he chose to be on that plane while gonna Michelobultra
again again. You know, I'm not trying to make accusations here.
That's just my assessment.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
I don't buy. I don't buy that at all. I don't.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
I don't feel comfortable with you putting it on Hoodie
and the blowfish and and doing that that whole deal.
But I mean, it is what it is. Though I
will say that, I mean, you are entitled to your opinion.
I mean, you know, we all make wrong assessments sometimes.
I mean, look at those PGA Tour golfers that didn't
take the bag from Lives.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
That is true. You know, that is true. You know
Jimmy got paid well for that commercial. I'm sure so.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
I'm sure he did, and I'm sure he didn't turn
it down others would have.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
You know, he took He took it, definitely not. It
is two pros and a cup of Joe here on
Fox Sports Radio. Coming up next here from the tyrack
dot Com studios, we do have somebody in the NFL
who's very, very pleased with the performance of their quarterback
so far this offseason. And you'll hear from him. That's next.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and
Jonas Knox weekdays at six a m. Eastern three am
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
One one and one, won and want to be When
you you mean.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Different? Won?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
We all give Jimmy Butler credit. This song does make
me want to drink.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Man, It's a Friday night song, bro.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
This song the hour song. This song is a happy
hour song.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
Absolutely yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
I'd rather pay full price than happy hour price. Isn't
have to listen to this song?
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Oh wow?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, I'll wait you seven a half of that when
it goes up an extra bock for a beer.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Your hate for songs, man, is is pretty intense, my guy.
I guess that's that whole You know, you know the
business because you've been you know, you've been in it.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Not really, so it's just I was the author of
vinty bad song, so I would know when when I
hear it. Plus it also, even if I don't think
the song's that bad, it's just funny how worked out
people get over it. Music's very polarizing, and you can
you can divide a lot of people with music if
you just make one wise crack about a song. Oh
you're crazy, I hate that song. You're out of your mind, right,
(21:27):
I hate that song. Yeah, thank you, coach.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Oh there you go.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe. Here
Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you coming
up in a little over fifteen minutes from now, we
are going to have another edition of You In or
You Out, and that'll be yours as we close up
shop here on a Thursday morning from the tairaq dot
com studios. But LeVar Arrington, your guy Mike McDaniel, the
(21:53):
head coach of the Miami Dolphins. Yeah, he was speaking, Yes,
he was. He was speaking yesterday, you know, just talking
about Tua obviously a big year for Tua.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Talking about Loa I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
And Tua's development and just sort of how he's looked
at this offseason so far and OTAs and so Mike McDaniel,
you know, decided to let everybody know just about how
consistent too has been so far at OTAs for the Dolphins.
Take a listen to Lamar McDaniel.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
For his game, you're less concerned about the really good
plays and it's more about consistency of the entire practice,
Like just like a game where you can have some
you know, he had his games where he made some
big time plays and then you know he wasn't as
(22:53):
happy with the rest of the game. So kind of
looking at through that lens, and he's really been whatever more.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Consistent, if not.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
I mean, he's been as consistent as anybody day in
day out, which has residual effects to the whole team,
and I know the team can feel it as well.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
I think it's so commendable.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
How how consistent, Like you know, from games to game,
Tua is just so consistent with with all the things
that he does. Like I mean, I just can't tell
you guys enough about how consistent his consistency is, you know,
(23:45):
like from practice and you know from doing in in games.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
He's just he's too.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
He's doing Okay. I gotta know how big the fate
boxes that he uses, because I'm thinking old school walkie talkie.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Nobody uses the big ones anymore.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
I think he does.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
The one that lights up it makes all the different
colors and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
It's like those pk meters off Ghostbusters, that's what.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
He's a super cool dude.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Man, Like he seems like he's the crowd.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Like he seems like like I mean, he's an in crowd,
in crowd cool type of dude, like you might see
him at a restaurant and and like he's like.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
The popular guy in the club type dude.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Who do you think he hangs out with when like
these coaches meetings are going on with they have their
spring meetings, Like, like what crew of coaches do you
think Mike mc daniel hangs out with?
Speaker 4 (24:53):
I mean he probably he probably hangs out with the
familiar group. I know. I don't see I can't a
hand crew.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Yeah, I don't think McVeigh hangs out with him. I
can't imagine because I think McVeigh is so clean cut
now that he's like one of the jocks, and McDaniel's
like one of those kids that was kicking a hacky
sack around with like some chili cheese Fredo's in his
back pocket.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Well, McVeigh only had to travel to Nova Virginia. He
didn't have to go all the way over to Nova
Scotia or or to Austria or anything like that, like
like the other guy did, but he he he did
very well as well. And you know, I don't know
(25:35):
what Mike McDaniel got going on, but I mean I
would just say, you know, maybe he's not interested in
being a third wheel, don't.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Maybe, yeah, Like, let me.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Do some homework here. Man, he's married.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
He's married.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
I don't want to be a judgmental type of person, man,
but I'm gonna look up.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
I would look and see if Cliff was still in
the league with Cliff Kingsbury. I could see him and
Mike McDaniel hanging out, Okay, yeah, I mean, and and
based on the kind of company the Cliff Kingsbury keeps,
I wouldn't mind hanging out either. To be honest with you,
I'm with you.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah, he's a little bit more conservative. Yeah, Mike McDaniel,
he didn't. He didn't. Yeah, he he wasn't going all
in like McVeigh and your boy, uh what's his name
cleft just left.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Yeah. Cliff Kingsbury, Yeah, he wasn't.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Yeah, I could see like the one, the one common
denominator outside of the Washington Ties.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
I mean, he wasn't he wasn't underachieving either though. Let's
let's make that clear. He didn't underachieve at all, not
at all, but in fact he might have out kicked
his coverage. Which one Mike might have out kicked his
coverage he did. All right, Yeah, it's just I'll say,
it's just just a different it's just different, different vibe,
(26:57):
different vibe. Yeah, it's a different it's a different club. Yeah,
he went to a different, different club, you know, different
different suite.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
And then and then you've got also, you know, with
the Sean McVay, Like the one common denominator outside of
the Washington connection is that you know, Sean McVay vapes too.
That's why Petros called hi mcvape. And we've seen Mike
McDaniel vape. So if you've seen both those guys, you
know play.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
They probably puff puff past their vapes. You know.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
By the way, do people do they cheers their vapes
like you do at a bar with a.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Glass of I think they pass them bro Oh yeah,
huh puff puff pass.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
With a vape. You really want to share it again?
Rape after COVID, people are really sharing vapes now. If
I mean, if I had a vape, I don't want
my own.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Do you think people are still sharing in the cipher?
I mean, I don't think the cipher will ever die.
You just got to be a trustworthy person to join in,
Like you just can't any and everybody can't. There can't
be randoms in ciphers anymore, like you used to have
randoms in ciphers, Like, nah, no randoms. When you think
(28:11):
about it, sharing sharing your vape, you know what I'm saying,
sharing your vape, but sharing your you know what you're sharing,
like that's it's kind of you.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
When you really think about it's really disgusting.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Yeah, it's really a disgusting thing to actually do that.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
So agreed.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
It's like cool to think that you you're bonding with
the homie, but you know what, it's really a disgusting
thing what's being done.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah, yeah, it's like sharing.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
I do it quite a bit. I mean, I'm not
I'm not judging. I do.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
I'm a I'm a cipher guy. I'm passing the cipher.
But it's disgusting, like when you stop and really think about.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
It, like it's just it's like borrowing somebody's toenail clippers,
and I don't want that you.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Know what I mean. No, it's it's worse.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
It's worse because you know there's fluids that that aren't involved.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
Yeah, there you go. That drives it home.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Well, that being said, like people salava, you know, like
DNA tests on on over and over again.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
You know, it's like a CSI show every time.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Yeah, they found out by the butt of the blunt.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, he thought he was home free, but the butt
of the blunt revealed all people that were present.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Yeah, they did a lineup.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Everybody was there.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
Not me.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
They've found the whole trail. Uh. And and by the way,
that's how you discover a lot about a person and
speaking with at the end of your first year. Discover
credit cards automatically double all the cash back you've earned.
That's right, everything you've earned doubled. Seriously, ce terms and
check it out for yourself. And discover dot com forward
slash match. All right, so we are going to have
another edition of You and You out coming up here
(29:54):
as we close up shop on a Thursday. But for
all the latest from around the world of sports. This
man doesn't need a VAIT partner. He's Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 7 (30:01):
No, that is true. That is not something I'm interested in.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Now, if you did, would you prefer to be called
Darth Vapor, Come on, Eddie or Star Wars guy.
Speaker 7 (30:11):
Yeah, okay, I can go with that. I mean, if
I'm gonna be called that, I don't okay with that. Yeah,
that's why he breathed like that.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
I guess that why I didn't know that A.
Speaker 7 (30:23):
Lot of a lot of vaping going on. Lift that
helmet office smoke.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Just he's avasing Gulf by vape player.
Speaker 7 (30:32):
Game three of the NBA Finals saw the Nuggets beat
the Heat in Miami one oh nine to ninety four,
Nicole the Jokich and Jamal Murray putting on a show
for Denver. Both of them had triple doubles. For Jokicic
thirty two points, twenty one rebounds and tennisis the first
ever thirty twenty ten triple double and Finals history Murray
thirty four points, ten boards tennisis. They're the first teammates
(30:53):
to have thirty point triple doubles in the same game
in the history of the NBA. Denver now grabbing a
two to one series advantage. Game four coming up Friday
in Miami. Game three of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs
or finals, I should say comes up tonight. Panthers hosted
the Golden Nights eight o'clock Eastern time, Vegas. Holding a
two to zero series lead, they outs go to Florida.
So far in the first two games twelve to four
(31:13):
baseball games. I know we had the Rais walking off
with a two to one to win with the Twins
in a battle of division leaders. Randy A Rose Arena
solo homer in the night the difference as Tampa Bay
improves to a major league best forty five to nineteen.
They're twenty eight and six at home. Domindbacks defeat the
Nationals six to two. Arizona now with a two game
lead on La for the top spot of the NLS
because the Reds walked off with an eight six win
(31:34):
over the Dodgers. Will Benson to run walkoff homer for
Cincinnati and their big time prospect Elie de la Cruz
hit his first major league homer Brewers over the Orioles
ten to two. Milwaukee's Joey Weimer hit a two home
runs and drove in five in that win. For Milwaukee's.
They move a game and a half up on Pittsburgh
for first and the Anal Central Pirates lost at home
for the Reds nine to six Oakland. Excuse me to
(31:56):
the A's nine to six Oakland seven runs in the
first inning. They took two of three in the series
from Pittsburgh and improved a fourteen and fifty on the year.
Rangers were shut out by the Cardinals one nothing. John
Flaherty six shot out innings. He and three relievers combining
on a four head shutout as Texas, so it's five
game winning streak come to it end. Braves over the
Mets seven to five. Marlins beat the Royal six to one, Miami,
sweeping the three game series from Kansas City. They won
(32:18):
six in a row and Luis Arise for Florida. He
was two for three and is now batting four to
oh three on the season. We had the Phillies hosting
the Tigers, Yankees hosting the White Sox. Both games postponed
because of smoke and air quality in Philadelphia and New
York because of Canadian wildfires. Now back to LeVar Arrington,
Jonas Knocks and the tyrack dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studios.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (34:48):
Josh Allen's on the cover of Matt and I don't
know if you saw that or not. You guys enter
out on Josh Allen fin the cover athlete for Matt.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
Was it the curves broken? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (34:59):
I think so broke the curse? Who was well Mahomes
was did they win a super Bowl the year he
was on? Where did they go to a super Bowl? Yeah? Listen, man,
look all that curse crap, Like, can we just find
out what the hell's going on with Stefan Diggs? Like
that's all I want to know, Like, somebody please explain
(35:21):
what happened with Stefan Diggs and Josh Allen in that
final game. It's just, you know, it's a little, uh,
it's a little strange. And we still haven't gotten a
lot of answers on that Leslie Fraser left. That's kind
of weird. Still haven't gotten the clear answers to what
happened there. Just as he'll return to coaching, just taking
some time away. I don't know, it feels like, you know,
if you were that close to making a deep run
(35:44):
and going to a Super Bowl, maybe you want to
come back for more. I don't know, Just LaVar, you've
talked about this too. It just something feels off in Buffalo.
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Feels like they'll just added Leonard Little.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Leonard Floyd Floyd EXCT.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Leon Leonard Little talk by here. Leonard Floyd is pretty
He's pretty dope too. Yeah, Yeah, I'm in. I'm in
because I think it's quite an accomplishment obviously to be
popular enough to be on to be on the mat
and cover.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
So yeah, I'm in.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Fellas.
Speaker 9 (36:17):
You guys both went to San Diego last weekend, and
I went to the San Diego Zoo. I know, LeVar
you went to the Safari Park. You guys enter out
on Zoo's in.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
I'm a mixed bag. I'm a mixed bag.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Like I'll say this, I really enjoyed understanding the amount
of research that goes into the survival of species that
are endangered. But I mean, I don't know, man, I just.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Do you feel guilty of seeing him locked up?
Speaker 4 (36:52):
Yeah? That kind of impacts me a little bit.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
That kind of impacts me a little bit just seeing
that they you know, they they're confined, you know, but
sometimes it's just for I guess, for the better good
for them to be confined.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
Otherwise, you know, they'll.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Be poached all the way off of off of the world,
off of the Earth.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
See.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
So I felt the same. And then when I realized
aliens and UFOs have been doing this to us for
years now, I don't feel guilty like this. This planet's
been there petting zoo for years, and they've been watching
us behind glass in cars, like pointing at us when
we're stuck in traffic, like, oh my god, look how
flustered he gets. Why is he always throw a middle
(37:36):
finger up there? Like oh hey, look is he fooling
around on his girl again? Like look at that, look
at him right over there, Like they've been doing that
to us for years. So I don't feel the leash
bit bad anymore. Here, if you're a giraffe, here's some tumbleweeds.
Go pick your teeth with it while I pay ten
dollars to watch you do it.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
I will say this aquatics is different to me than zoos.
Like aquatics there's no excuse.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Oh like yeah, I'm with no excuse to.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
Have orca, you know, locked up right the world entertaining us.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
We're seventy water on this planet, but we've got to
confine them to us.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Yeah, yeah, I'm out on that one, but I'm conflicted
on on zoos and so far, I'm a little conflicted.
Speaker 9 (38:20):
Yeah, what else, guys, there is a new Grimace shake
at McDonald's.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
Yeah, mixed with Barry and Vanilla.
Speaker 9 (38:28):
Right, sounds like you were in on this man.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
My son hit me up about that yesterday. I was.
We were discussing it, you know, fat boy.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
Top you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
By the way, what are the characters again? There's Ronald McDonald, Grimace,
the Hamburglar. Uh what were the other characters that were
a part of McDonald's because are they even around anymore?
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Shamrock shaked or are you talking about Grimace, Grimace, the character,
Hamburglar Mac Tonight?
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Yeah, Like what happened to them?
Speaker 4 (38:58):
I don't know. They should bring them all back.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I agree, Like, if you want to go vintage, go vintage,
bring back everything.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
Ronald McDonald Grimis the Hamdbroler, the Hamburglar Mac Tonight. I
think I think that's kind of it though, And mac
Tonight would like was a standalone character.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Yeh know, he played the piano right.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Yeah, on the moon with his with his half moon.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Hey yeah, yeah, true?
Speaker 9 (39:24):
What else we got me from McDonald's to Taco Belders.
I'm looking at it right now, steak chili Verde fries.
So it's like a bowl of fries and it's got
this green chili verde sauce on.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
It looks good, seems healthy. Yeah, guaranteed, guaranteed you tried
that this weekend.
Speaker 3 (39:40):
I want that that that Dorito did that they got there.
But I'm in on those fries too, though.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
I then Carneista fries or fantastic.
Speaker 9 (39:49):
I think I read somewhere that Taco bell is actually
the healthier one of the healthiest fast food.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
Yeah right, yeah, that's like saying, uh, if you had
to choose, I'd rather get kicked in the shin and
the like, I'd rather not have either. None of them
are healthy for you. Sad you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
No, I don't, but a heart.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
