Webbinyama went number one overall Antonio. That was the pick
(01:29):
for San Antonio. Brandon Miller, Scoot Henderson is Monty mentioned
in her reward winning update. And then you had the
Thompson Twins go four and five. By the way, wasn't
Thompson Twins? Is that enable? Like a bad eighties band?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Past?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Like synth pop band? Where do they call the Thompson Twins?
Most positively? Thank you coach who gets Bill Belichick on
the line on a Friday morning. How about that for
guest booking on this show. Thank you coach again live
via com rex Field tap Bill Belichick joining us. Yeah,
I'm pretty sure the Thompson Twins was like a bad
(02:07):
nineteen eighties band, almost positive, Sam, you're up on that
bad music? Is that a name of a band, the
Thompson Twins. Okay, thank you, thank.
Speaker 3 (02:17):

you know, love his game. He really really if you recall,
he really really gave us some hopeing and march madness.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Man.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
You know, we was making a little run, making a
little push.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
You know, Jaylen Pickett was grown man.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
So shouts out to him. Congratulations to him, and yes
we are by the.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Way, let's go live to our I have an update
on a bad band from the eighties insider. Iowa, Sam
for the Lakes. Sam, You're You're right on the money there, Jonas.
The Thompson Twins were a British pop band filmed in
nineteen seventy seven in Sheffield. I knew it.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
So yeah I think they did. I think they had
like a couple of bangers. Yeah, Hold me now. That
was a good song.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Hold me now.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Yeah, yep, we'll play the next all right, you good.
So if you weren't listening like the Breakfast Club or so, yeah,
probably so. If you woke up this morning wondering, you know,
how the NBA draft was going to be recapped and
you and you on your Bengo card had in relation
(03:30):
to a band from thirty.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Years Bingo was his name, O b ng O, bi
ng O, b i Ngo.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
And Bingo was his name.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh good god, all right, everybody, you start acting the best.
They did pay us to talk about sports. They don't.
They don't pay us to sit here and sing. But
since we're on the subject, there's a football Friday.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, Court, it is.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
A football Friday here on FSR. Before we wrap up
this discussion on the National Basketball Association, we do want
to point out there was a trade, an interesting deal
done in the NBA yesterday. Chris Paul old CP three
he is heading to the Golden State Warriors. So the
Wizards traded CP three to the Warriors in exchange for
(04:39):
Jordan Pool and a couple of draft picks down the road.
And it felt like that was at some point that
was going to run its course, especially after Jordan Poole
got smoked in practice by Draymond Green. They gave him
a contract, just kind of a make good, but it
seemed like the clock was ticking on that relationship. And
so now Chris Paul and the thought is he's going
to come off the bench for the warrior that he will,
(05:01):
he will come off the bench in Golden State, and
maybe this will be the best thing for him at
this point in his career. That's what it feels like,
because I don't.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Know age, you know that the whole It's interesting because
Jordan Poole leaves and perceivably maybe Draymond is leaving too.
You know, he denied the the contract extension. So it's
interesting to see how that's going to pan out because
(05:29):
he's playing his hand. He's put his cards on the
table and put his chips in the middle of the table,
and we're gonna have to see, like when they turn
the cards over, you know who's bluffing and who isn't.
But I'll say this, to think that Jordan Pool would
solely leave because of what took place.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
With Draymond Green, I don't know. I might.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I might say that one is a tap bit debatable
just because of current you know, status, Like if you
had to choose between Jordan Pool and Draymond Green, and
Draymond Green is sounding like he's wanting a max contract
(06:15):
or close to a max.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Contract with what he's doing, I mean, which one do
you choose?
Speaker 1 (06:21):
I would choose, well, I think I don't think he's
getting anywhere close to a max contract. And the feeling
is that he'll be back in Golden State. This is
just negotiating and he can opt out, So he's going
to opt out and make more money. It's kind of
similar to Chris Middleton and Milwaukee, who opted out.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Of his deal.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
But the feeling is that he'll you know, it's more
likely than not that he's going to be back. I
just think for the fabric of that team, Draymond Green
means a lot more than Jordan Poole does. I just
and look, even before he got cracked, there was some
thought that Jordan Poole was not really a well liked
guy there, Like he kind of rubbed people the wrong way.
(06:58):
He was very Uh, he's kind of annoying to a
lot of teammates. So that that it built up for
a while. Yeah, and uh and that's that. It built
up for a while. And then he got he got
punched in the face and practice, although I don't know
how so.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Was Marshall laws what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Hey, listen, you know, oh wow, he loud dog a lot.
Don't go around here. You know, you saw Tombstone know.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
What was referencing. I was right there with you. Yeah,
he low dog, I don't don't fly around.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
You gotta wrap some one on the beer. Get some
respect around here. I love Ike Clanton. Man Ike Clant
was such a smelly slob. Yeah, so that is that's
the situation, Chris Paul back in the state of California,
nowhere near Kardashian. Let's hope based on those rumors that
(07:54):
Kanye started a couple of years ago. I just want
to want to be clear here looking out for the
for the betterment of Chris Paul. So got that stuff.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
You think he has enough left to participate in a
way where he can make Golden State better.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
I think I think he's got enough left on the
coming off the bench. I just wonder from an ego standpoint,
how that lands with him.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Well, if you're going there to begin with, you know
you're not going there for it to be your team
in any way, shape or form, right and no type
of manner and no type of way zero. So I
don't think that you accept this situation and you're going
into it. I think you come into it with a
(08:38):
level of understanding that you can be a positive contributor
to this team in such a great way, and probably
the biggest way is knowledge, wisdom, and guidance is what
I would say a leadership quality that doesn't have to
be over pronounced.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
But the respect of who Chris Paul is.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
And what he's been able to accomplish it in this
league I think would go over well in that in
that locker room. And he's not being looked at to
be a franchise guy for them. He's not obviously a
guy coming off of the bench to do relief duty
or to provide a different wrinkle that that teams may
(09:19):
have to start preparing for depending on how much time
he gets coming off of the bench. But if he
can return to a level where he was at what
a year ago, like a season ago.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, I mean it's you know, it's probably been like
this past year. He wasn't near the lowest.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
He wasn't a good yeah, and I think his health
was just very much in question.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
But the year before, I mean, I think he did
fairly well if my memory served correctly.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Still productive, still a key part of that team. I
just I hope he embraces it. Just from the standpoint
I love seeing players when they get old during their career,
who take on a new responsibility or a new role
and have success. Larry, I don't like it. Okay, when
Larry Fitzgerald moved to the slot, there was some thought that, man,
that's a difficult transition.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
But it's different.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
But he's still delivered.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
And then like when Vince Carter became a like kind
of like a reserve player, I ain't like it.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Okay, what about when Charles Woodson switched to safety.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
You're staying in football. I think it's different.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, Plus we'd like to keep our listeners.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
So but we're talking basketball, teah. I know.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
I'm just saying, like, if he can embrace that like Charles.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Woodson, like I mean, yeah, I mean, god dang, Charles
Woodson balled out as a safety. Made you sit there
and wonder like why and you ain't play safety entire time? Bro,
Like you're really good at safety. But I just you know,
I look at I look at embracing a limited role
as for someone like him who has had to deal
(10:58):
with the injuries, that's got to be a relief, right,
Like I get to enjoy making an NBA wage, being
Chris Paul and being on a team that has the
pieces to be able to make a run and try
to win it. And I don't have to be looked
at as the savior of this team. They don't have
(11:20):
to lean on me to produce, you know, game in
and game out. I can just kind of cruise. I
can start cruising now, you know, I want.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Do you think Lebron James will ever come off the
bench in his career? No, I was just thinking about that,
Like he did.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
He did come off of the bench that when he
came back from that injury. But I think outside anything
to that capacity, like that's his role, that would be
no different than seeing the guys that like seeing a
Vince Carter or you know, some of the guys that
you seek, you know, being on the bench after they've
been such positive contributors to two teams as starters.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
That's just weird to me. Man, That's weird.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Like some people are can handle the backup or reserve
role and then some people it just doesn't doesn't land right.
And you know, maybe Chris Paul it'll land right and
next thing you know, he's competing for an NBA championship.
But yeah, the the Jordan Pool era is over and
all he got was a championship ring one hundred and
eighty million dollars and punched in the face. Was it
(12:24):
worth it? And also yes it was. Do you think
do you think that's going to eat at him? That
he never got his revenge? Like never one time like
Draymond's going up for a rebound in practice.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
And a Jeremiah Trotter, Jeremiah Trotter sucker punched me. And
I won't say it eats at me, but I wish
I could have whipped his ass though.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
I wish.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
I wish we could have shot a fair one, you know,
I really do. I would shoot a fair one with
him today to day, Like to day, I shoot a
fair one with him. Yeah, and I know he just
went through some personal stuff so you know, shouts out,
but I would love to whoop his ass.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Well listen, I mean, uh, maybe maybe one day you'll
discover that you'll have an opportunity.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
To do that.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
And speaking of which, at the end of your first year,
discover credit cards automatically doubles all the cash back you burned.
That's right, everything you've earned doubled. Seriously, you see terms
you check it out for yourself and discover dot com
Forward slash match. All right, so it is two pros
and a couple.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Of segment provocative. No, that's gonna make its rounds.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Of course, that dude had the nerve to tell a
bogus ass story about what he did. He tried to
talk like he was Mike Tyson. That knocked me out,
like I stepped to him. He dipped, he bobbed, he
weaved and knocked me cold like, come on.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Man, I looked.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
I looked at your soft ass right in the eyes,
and you ain't had nothing for me. I turned to
sit back down because you ain't had nothing for me,
and the dude popped me in my ear? Man, can
you like what type of dude does that? Equilibrium shot?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Oh? Bro? He put me down. Now, don't I want
to eat children?
Speaker 3 (13:57):
He put me down. He hit me right in my ear.
He jacked up my Uh what's what's the joint in
your ear? He ruptured my ear? Drummer or something like.
He hit me pretty good.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
It was a good one, I'll tell you what though,
he Jonas.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Wait, did he didn't knock you out?
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Did he? Oh? He knocked me. I might have been
out for a second. But I can listen.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I came like like energy came like bro the whole
line backing room had to jump on me to keep
like restrain me from getting to him.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I couldn't get to him. You remember when they was
holding Clever laying back, He's like.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
You remember that, Like they was holding him back, and
then he did messed around and hit Polly in the
chest and Polly ended up dying.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Brou I had an energy in me in that moment.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
It took literally like six dudes to hold me down
and they ran him out of the room like I
was going to try to rip his arms off of
his body, dog like. I had the strength of like
twenty men in that moment. I just couldn't get them
dudes up off though they was pulling my pet. My
pants was coming down every day I was trying to
(15:04):
I was trying Jonas, I was trying to get to him.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
They wouldn't let me get to it.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, I'll let you get.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
To I love to get that that that running back though.
I love to get that run.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I mean listening to Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberger apparently
going to fight.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
In the car. They really we should get on the
card I get on the undercard.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I actually can't believe that that's a real thing that
could happen that Elon Musk and Mark.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
That would be the softest ass pillow fighting fight ever
in the history of pillow fighting. Their hands probably feel
straight like a baby's ass. Yeah, not like mine, my
rugged hands. Man, you got rugged hands, well, you know
you should loation man.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
There.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I don't use any lotion. I've never used hand lotion
in my life, never one time in my life.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
With your soft ass head you got you, you would
be right in that thing with with Elon and Zuckerberg
soft hand Look.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
At those hands.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Uh Like LeVar shook my hand one time and he's like, man,
so you've been wrestling alligators?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Like why are your hands so soft? Dog? You know?
Like that's that grosses me out. It weirds me out.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
When I shake a man's hand and his hand is
soft like a woman's hand, Like that weirds.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Me out, A little boo. That ain't gonna lie. My
hands shouldn't be soft.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
My hands feel like Carson wantz his neck.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
I don't believe that.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah, bumps everywhere, I'll pour up.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
No, I believe that.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Story man hands mechanical said.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
You got a stirred eye in the middle of your palm.
Speaker 1 (16:40):

have accorded to the dugout maybe in the nineteen eighties.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
It's the Book of Joe podcasts. I can't wait for this, Joe.
We're going to dive into what goes on in the
dugout and behind the scenes in Major League.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Top five draft picks see vetos here, Hi man, try
to put you up on game. A little bit of
Veto Vetos dancing to the Thompson Twins. Who okay, yeah
you don't even know. Oh okay, Vito's a JCSS guy
from what I hear.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Never heard of them, that's what I heard. Never heard
of jksh.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Cova what you may say, we're going to take that.
Never heard of JKS. That's appropriate here. That was actually
for Veto. Its kidding, jokey. Where was waiting for something else?
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:04):
I'm sorry, I'm still not up on game on that
that drop I played nine hundred times a show swing that.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
I just love that Sam hit us with up one
game Yeah not JK.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah, of course he did. To hear both those shows
back to back tomorrow, Yeah, do you noon Eastern? Yeah,
four hour block here.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Flexico Burds t J. Hushman's outa who wudn't want to
hear those two guys on the radio. Then you get
enough radio and then you like go about your day
after that show is over.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Be cool.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
If you stuck around though for a couple of hours,
you know, why.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
What's the stick around for? When you hear that type
of content? Why stick around? Just go get the rest
of your day.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Started, So we're going to take that, Sam, like like
skip the show afterwards, but make sure you stick around
for the show. We're gonna we're gonna take that. No,
you said the four hour block. Yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I said a two.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
I said for it, only stick around to hear him
t J and plax and don't stick around for my show.
I don't know, that's that's kind of what I said.
But I feel like he's you know, like that that
that warrants some cleansing here, Like I feel.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Like that, you know, we need a purge, all right,
all right.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
A little little little something on you there. Oh wow,
it is two pros and a cup of Joe though
here on SAD Radio.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Yes, tell Jonas. I do plug the show though every
since he does every single week.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
There's a lot of love that goes back and forth
between j.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Cans and show. Yeah, just so you're clear on that.
Just clear, so you're clear that I do tell.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Right now, Yeah, virtually there he knows.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
If my internet would have been able, if I would
have been able to connect, I could have seen him.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
I could have seen you, Jonas. You know what.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Unfortunately I was not able to get on zoom today
because I couldn't find an internet connection, Like it just
didn't work.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Well, I do know this. We're going to have another
edition of You In and You Out coming up here
in about twenty minutes from now from the tire dot
Com studio.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
That sounds fun, But this.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Is, uh, this is important stuff here because you talked
earlier in the show about listen, you're you're back at
you know, at Penn State. You're hanging out. You're in
a happy valley and you're getting happy. You know, everyone's
you know, having.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Some got way too happy last night, you know, and there's.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
A lot of people out there who Thursday night, it's
a great night to go out. A lot of places
in certain towns do Thursday night deals on beers. You
can get like two dollars drafts and some spots and
things like that.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
And hey man, we were our own party.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah. Like but and I think a lot of people
with summer officially here are really gonna tear it up
this weekend. They're going to get after it. Well, apparently
there's a remedy to the situation if you do proceed
to take that approach.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
And I know what's crazy about you saying that, what's
that because you need the remedy that that situation that
you're talking about. You need to take some Proli sack Man,
because you know what, when you're chewing them chalky and
acids all day, ain't nobody got no time for that.
(23:16):
To make sure you try sack OTC. You know you
take one pill early each day. Well, I would say
take it in the morning. Yeah, they do too. You
could experience a full twenty four hours of zero heartburn
and it is possible while taking sack otc. So make
sure you use this directed for fourteen days so you
can treat frequent heart heartburn and it's not for immediate relief.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Just make sure you're clear on that.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, well I do it.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Use it.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Well, you know there's some relief that comes by way
of IV.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Where you're going with this, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Ivs that That's where I was going, not the not
the sack I was going. Okay, I was going in
another direction here, because whoay Jake Beckett, who was a
former NFL player. He played with the New England Patriots.
He talked on Prime Time with Alex Stein about playing
(24:14):
with Rob Gronkowski and he discussed maybe the remedy for
Gronk's partying after you would get after it, especially around
this time of year, during the off season. Let's take
a listen.
Speaker 7 (24:26):
I had these key fobs that gave us twenty four
to seven access to the Patriots facility there in Foxborough,
and during the off season, Gronk would go out all
night with his boys in Boston, you know, stay up
till three four in the morning, labor it was, and
have his crew drop him off at the Patriots facility
and he would like stagger into the Patriots locker room
key fob in and go pass out on the training
(24:48):
tables in the Patriots training room. So then like an
hour or two later, when the trainers would come in
to start their workday, they'd come in there and see
Gronk just sprawled out on the training table, just fast asleep.
They would go over there, they wouldn't wake him. U
they would roll up one of his sleeves and you know,
stick an IV.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
In his arm.
Speaker 7 (25:05):
Like after a couple of hours, he would just wake
up like Frankenstein revived and go out there and just
kick ass.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
So the IV trick does that?
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Does it work? I mean a lot of guys swear
by it.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
You ever done the iv trick when you were playing,
You get banged up one night before and you come
in they strap an ivy to.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Your Never got.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
I never was irresponsible like that, Like I didn't get
I didn't party hard during football season, only on like Sundays,
like I go out after games sometimes but more often
than not.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
You know, I was. I was very systematic, so I
never needed to do that. You know. Now off season
that's an entirely different thing.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Sometimes you go out and you're out until even in college,
you'd be out until you had to go straight to practice,
Like you go, you go straight from being out and
hanging out and partying house parties and stuff like that
to going straight to practice.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
And I wish I would have known about ivs back then.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
My whole my remedy was a ton of water in
the steamroom, Like going the steam room, sit in the
steamroom for like thirty forty five minutes and just start
pounding waters. And that was how that was how I
would would kind of get through like what I'm going
through right now, Like if I could, I don't know
(26:32):
if we have a steam room here in this facility,
but I'm going to ask because if they do. I'm
going to go steam myself, and I'm gonna go in
there with like six bottles of water.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
I've heard the IVY drip is like get you right back.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Just it just it depends on what they're dripping you with.
Some people knew, dude them like all natural drips. I
don't know about it all. Some people do different IVY fluids,
and I don't know about those either. I just don't
know what's in these ivs, oh man, Like I heard
(27:08):
what V twelve is in them or something like that.
Like I thought that was engines before I started hearing
about it, of you know, IV so I don't know which. Again,
I still find out to be kind of wild though,
Like the dude is incapacitated and you just sticking IV
in his arm, like I don't know for like, for me,
what I took from that story was not what the
(27:29):
IVY did to revive Gronkowski back. It's just to me,
the idea that the training staff would just roll his
arm up while he's dead to the world and just
sticking IV in like this is like just normal process,
like normal protocol.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Gronk's here, he's banged up.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Roder get the ivy fluid bag together, Like what's in
the IV bag?
Speaker 1 (27:51):
Do you think they have walkie talkies. It's like somebody
who comes upon a body on patrol and they go, uh, yeah,
we've got a We got gronk here, he's incapacitated, went
out late last night. If we could get two bags
of VS over here promptly when you get a second
we're at the third training table, right near the second
restroot hang a left there, thank you, over and out.
(28:13):
And then they just come in and they've got a
zip lock bag full of nutrients. They just insert that
bad ass into his arm and then get ready to rock.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
I think it would be a better story if it
was minions doing it. What talk.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
The minions come around the corner like they take a
care of group, you know what I mean, and put
the ivy and I think that would be a way
better story.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
It could be.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Yes, that is true, the building of Gronk, not group.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
By the way, there's also another story in the NFL
that I desperately hope is true. Can I read you
the quote me? Remember we're hearing that Tyreek Hill was
not facing charges and now it's just so yeah, apparently
he's going to face charges the victims, saying that he
wants so because this happened on Father's Day at a
marina in Miami. Take a listen to the some of
(29:13):
the reporting on this. I hope with everything in my
body that this is true. So local news reported that
on Father's Day, Tyreek Hill, the star wide out for
the Dolphins, allegedly struck a man while working at a
marina in Miami. Per Fox Sports six point forty, he'll
slap the employee on the back of the head. The
(29:35):
incident began when Hill in a group and his group
tried to board a boat without permission. Boat employees told
police that Hill said, quote, I can buy you and
the boat, and quote I'm number ten with the Miami
Dolphins end quote. I hope, for the love of God
that is true, because I can't even imagine being at
(29:55):
the level of doucheness that you would say to some
people working at a marina, quote, I can buy you
and the boat. So I got to ask LeVar Arrington,
how many times have you pulled that at a marina
when you've stopped by, I can buy you and the boat.
You ever done that before?
Speaker 2 (30:16):
All right?
Speaker 3 (30:16):
So I gotta I gotta do a guilty confession. It's
a guilty confession. Now, I never slapped anybody upside their
head or walked onto a boat I wasn't welcome on to,
but I have I'm guilty of saying saying that before.
(30:37):
I am guilty of saying that before. Oh, because you
know me, Jonas like, I'm a joner and if you
mess with me, I'm going to do something that off.
I'm going to try to be as offensive as I
can possibly be with what I say to you. And
I am guilty of using that that line before.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
What a great line I could buy you in the boat.
It's so fantastic.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
All right, So you want me to tell you the story?
You remember I told you. I think I may have
told the story before. How I was I was, I
went to I went.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
To let me ask you this because I know we're
up against it. Do you do you want to have
more time with this?
Speaker 2 (31:19):
So you can it's kind of quick quick. I could
get it out in like two minutes. So we can
do the.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Going into the carnival, we could do all that. But
but so the quick story is I pull up to
the mall and my silver bullet Ferrari. I pull up
in a Ferrari. I parked my car. I'm getting out
to walk. I hit my joint to right and this
old lady seize me, clutches her purse and hits the
(31:51):
the the and it was a secondary, secondary car alarm.
It wasn't even the car's car alarm. It was like
a like a second you know whatever it is, car alarm.
And it was like an explorer. It was like a
forest green explorer. And I said, she looked at me.
(32:13):
I said, lady, don't you know I could buy you.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
And your truck?
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Oh geez. So that's where Tyreek Hill got it from.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
I did slap her, though, thank you. I just died
accost that lady. I just let her know, like, there's
nothing in your purse. In fact, there's nothing about you
or your truck that I want from you, because if
I did, I just buy you.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
I was just trying to be as offensive as occupying.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
I didn't mean it, you know, I didn't mean it,
but in the moment it was like you just see
the car I just got out of, lady, Like, are
you really you're you're afraid of me?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Like you really think I'm going to try to rob you, like, boy,
do you have your your your profiles messed up? Oh?
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Man, that horrible profile. I mean, can you pick someone
better to profile? I mean, let me get out of like,
you know, a different type of vehicle.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Lord, get out of my car.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Exactly, get out of my car. If I got out
of Jonas's vehicle.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
They'd ask me, what's where's all the gardening equipment in
the back of your truck?
Speaker 2 (33:26):
That's legit. That's coming over to mow my lawn later.
That's legit, is all right?
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Is that a hardbreak and dustband you got there?
Speaker 2 (33:35):
That's legit?
Speaker 1 (33:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
I could tell I can handle that. But I got
out of a three sixty Medina. I got out of
a three sixty Medina. You're clutching your person, locking your
car like I'm gonna come get you, like I'll buy
you and everything you own.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
It's just a relatable, humble story.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
It was a flex. It was definitely a joning flex.
It is, but I admitted it. I tell look, I
tell I'll be, I'll be.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Look.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
I put out other people. I outed some coaches today
out myself.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
I won't. I don't limit it to anybody, even out myself.
So there you go.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Yeah, listen, I was honest. The coming out party here
on on fs.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
O, well, I don't know about all that, so it's
a little too deep.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Speaking of out, we are going to have you any
of your out coming up here shortly. But for all
the latest from around the world the sports might I
present to you somebody who is humble, somebody who's always gracious,
the one, the only. As we wait and wait, Iowa
Sam to let us know that on the updates today.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
It's mons. Here we go on.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
You take you over?
Speaker 8 (34:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, get with it, LeVar, Yeah, yeah, my god,
it is.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
You did?
Speaker 1 (35:02):
You did all right? All right, guys, let's start in.
Speaker 8 (35:05):
The NBA draft, Why don't we The Furs selected Wemby.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
No, that's pretty good, Victor when manyema Yes, you think
Victors had a dance. Well, he's so tall it looks
like a wind puppet.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
He's so tall.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Tastes if him and Ched Holgren hung outside a car dealership,
everyone think there was some sale going on. That's funny.
That's funny.
Speaker 8 (35:39):
Alright, got Wemby, We all knew that, guys. The Hornets
selected Brandon Miller, and then Portland selected Scoot Henderson. But
I'm gonna play you guys, this Hornets fan who was
not happy with the.
Speaker 6 (35:56):
Pick, Michael Jordan, You've owned the Hornets the Bobby since
I've been a fan man, And every time I think
you're about to do something like bad, you do something worse.
Hornets fans have been through it all since day one.
We have drafted more busts than any franchise. He've had
(36:17):
to put up with so much stuff. It has affected
my mental to be a fan of this team. And
the moment I think, okay, this is it, this is
our breakthrough. You know, we draft Randon Miller, so I'm
rooting for the guy. I guess it was the wrong pick.
I'm rooting for the guy, but I mean.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
Right, wasn't that a lot? Ain't wrong?
Speaker 8 (36:41):
But it was just a lot.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
It was.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Come on, but he's like emotional about it, like come on, dear, well,
he's a fan. Okay, get a life, buddy. Oh that's
so funny.
Speaker 8 (36:52):
Lonzo Ball is not expected to return next season from
his knee injury. The Bulls announced Kawhi Leonard underwent a
cleanup on Tormaniskus. Don't worry, He's going to be ready
for training camp in October and in Major League Baseball,
the Royals beat the Rays six to five, but the
Rays lost not just the game, they lost their a
shame McClanahan, who left in the fourth inning with a
(37:14):
back injury. It seems like you just said a little
bit of back stiffness. They're hoping it's nothing. Major padres
ended the Giants ten game winning streak. Guardians have now
won four in a row, while the A's have now
lost eight in a row. The Braves have won eight
in a row. They beat the Phillies five to one
in ten innings. Also victories for the Diamondbacks, the Twins,
and this is awesome. Joe Ryan pitched the first complete
(37:35):
game shutout in five years from Minnesota. Somebody's actually pitching
full games, guys. That's exciting. Mariners one Marlins one LSU
is headed to the College World Series. They're going to
face Florida on Saturday in the best of three series.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
Did I say that?
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Best of three series work?
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:51):
No, I'm crashing. I'm crashing. I'm going to sleep, not
literally though, no, no, but I'm going to sleep. It's

Would you guys go to the college Baseball World Series
going on this weekend?
Speaker 1 (39:41):
You any out on that?
Speaker 2 (39:45):
How we go?
Speaker 1 (39:45):
I'm not paying for it. I'll go if I can
get free seats, free drinks, free parking.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
So you've ever used the line, I'll bye you and and.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
I'd also and also I would like uh, you know,
some per DM to go along with that. Maybe I

be in on that. What else we got?
Speaker 2 (40:09):
All right?
Speaker 1 (40:10):
This is this will be a test. This is an
interesting one.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
The Los Angeles Naked Bike Ride this weekend. It goes
from Koreatown to the Crypto Center. Come on, LaVar, all right, LaVar,
what if you were in town?
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Are you in and you out on that?
Speaker 2 (40:27):
I'm out?
Speaker 1 (40:29):
So are so? These they're fully naked.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Check it out.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
There might be a few people out there that were
worth being in for.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I just think that there's going to be entirely too
many that you should not be in for. Gre there
for just one. It's just horribly harsh on your eyes.
That just what I'm out.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
It's like buying that. It's like buying an album for
one song. You realize the rest of the album sucks.
It's not worth it because of that one song.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
There might be a couple those bike riders that you're like,
all right, that's the dog hunts and then the other ones. No,
not at all, I'm with you, I'm out, change my mind.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
What else we got to eat? All right?
Speaker 1 (41:10):
This is interesting Harry Potter and concert out look. The
ride is fun at Universal Studios, But.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
It's a dope ride at Universal actually, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
And then when you and then when you go there
during the winter time, they do like the fake snow
thing where they like drop fake snow all over the
ground out here. I mean, that's cool, But the rest
of this nerdy stuff like in concert and all that, Like,
you gotta be kind of a peek at the end
of that stuff, all right, after everything that's happened.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
A boat excursion to the middle of the Pacific Ocean
to go snorkeling.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Oh, I don't.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
I just I don't trust myself in the water.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
I mean, you're not supposed to be there, otherwise you'd
have fins and flippers.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
Agree, there's a there's a reason we built houses on land.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
You know.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
If I can't, if I can't run out of that water,
it's too deep. Like Richard Bryor and the toy You
got that right, remember that, yes, with the.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Wonder wheel Jack
