It's not a ballpark. City Field is a beautiful ballpark.

the anniversary. I do have to share one quick story,
by the way, I don't want to downplay that I
was never a Mets fan. Riches that was magnificent. That

as you as you might know or might not know.
Kevino and I also work on serious XM for years.
Occasionally we got to do these car events with serious
XM partners, like Kavino was in Detroit last week. Again,
I have to go this weekend. You know, relationships with

all the different dealers. Years ago, my wife was due
with our daughter, who is now six, and I was
supposed to host an event and I couldn't go because
my wife could be having the baby any day now.
And Kevino and I would switch off events because they
wanted him or me. So Kevina is like, I got it.

Cavino goes to this event, and he calls me up.
He's like, bro, guess what I've been hanging with all
weekend dinners drinks. He's right here next to me. I go,
he goes. His family's way involved in the car dealership industry.
Kevina's like here. Cavino did the whole Hey say hello, yo, Rich,
it's Mike Piazza. I was like you, So I did

an event with Mike Piazza, and he was the coolest dude. Many.
I was so like, really, of all the events where
like you switched out with me as a Mets fan,
like I could have been having dinners and co hosting
with Mike Piazza. But and he was super kind, super cool,
very Italian. Comes from a big car family. His family
owns dealerships. All of his brothers. I met all of

his brothers. Dude, I hung out with the family. He
hung out with Frankie Carmine. Dude, we shared.

And also I don't think people understand that for me
and probably didn't. Mike Posas is also legend Dodge, I mean,
the guy was. He was one a fan favorite of
all Dodger when they traded him away, was on Dodgers
Stadium for years.

Yeah, that's awesome. His best I think his best years
were as a Dodger. He just made more of an
impact on the Mets franchise. But he is, in my opinion,
he was a better Dodger than he was a Mets.

And the story, as we all know, goes like someone
Lasorda did a favor for someone or else. He wouldn't
even have been drafted. So you're like, how many how
many Piazzas are out there that just need a favor

think they said he was on his honorary godfather.

I'm wasn't sure if he was his actual godfather, but
that him and him and Piazza's dad were very close.

So I was like, oh, we'll draft him sure, like
like like an afterthought. Meanwhile, you know, him and Johnny
Bench arguably what the two best catchers, and he worked
harder though as a result, you know, he put that
work in because he was given that opportunity, so paid off.
But a really dude, really nice dude, and uh, really
legendary moment. Old fashioned dude, old fashion dude. Well, uh,

I do want to get into this theory I have
about Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift. Everyone is talking about
are they dating? Oh, they're quote hanging out. I mean
they're sleeping together. Does I mean they're getting kiro molmachiatos together, pumptes.
I'll just say that hanging out. I don't know what
that means nowadays. But yeah, for me in the two thousands,

when I was a single guy, in the mid twenty
twenty tens, when I was to me, hanging out was
like trying to sleep with them, trying. Yeah, maybe I am.
Maybe I'll least move quick. In twenty twenty three. I

near feature. It is so lit. I love the fact
that these two could be together. I never get wrapped
up in like the I like pop culture stuff, but
I never get wrapped up in the celebrity couples. I'm like,
who cares, it's not me. I don't know their relationship.
I'm not into that. But for some reason, I feel
like a real man like Travis Kelcey, Taylor Swift dates

like WEENI pop guys that like, you know, skinny dudes
that like sing know what sort of beefcakes she's been
with behind closed doors. But what I'm saying, like most
of the theies you know known for dating like they like,
you know, like the artsy, skinny type of sensitive, she
might need a man like Travis Kelcey And who knows.

This could be magic. But I have a theory, so
don't worry. I'm gonna be talking about dating. My theory
is if she does go see Travis Kelsey at Arrowhead,
let me break out the schedule, because my theory goes
a little something like this hit it. It's gotta be
a must, It's gotta be a easy Chiefs win because

this Sunday, this Sunday, it's got to be against the
Bear because Ramos. Think about it. If Travis Kelcey finally
gets Taylor Swift to come see a game, She's sitting
in the booth with mahomes wife and they're all like,
there she is. Every five minutes, the camera on Fox
of CBS is like, and there's Taylor Swift here to
see her. Man, if they lose that game, oh my goodness,

with the sports and entertainment world run with like the
curse of Taylor's Yes, the answer is yes or God forbid,
Kelsey has a bad game, right, Oh, it's because Taylor
Swift was there. They need to see they need to
have a guarantee and it might be, but they need
to break out the analytics, like what team does poorly
defensively against tight ends? Which team will the Chiefs rock?

Because you can't bring and Taylor Swift to watch Travis
Kelce on a primetime game where they have a tough opponenty. No,
that might sound silly to some people listening to Fox
Sports Radio, but I actually think it's a legitimate point.
I just want to back you up on remember who
showed up to? Which basketball What basketball game did Michael

Jackson show up to? Like they literally had to stop
it and ask him to leave that right because it
was such a distraction. It was such a big deal.
I'm not saying tailor, I mean I'm not saying it,
but other people do. Compare Taylor Swift's popularity to Michael Jackson.

biggest thing going, so she is a distraction in itself.

So if they were to have a bad game or
even lose the game, or if Travis Kelce were to
not play well, guaranteed that would be the story. Rich

biggest swiftye but I do recognize the fact that she
has a concert and the parking lot is filled with

thousands of people that can't get in, and they rather
just sing in the parking lot. It's insane.

You don't want to do a division game that could

and by the way, early public and there hasn't even
been been a photo of these two as far as
we know, put out there. So it'd be a little

you think you think that I'm loving the pop culture

angle of this. I'm really just logistically thinking about what
it would mean for Travis Kelcey and the Chiefs if
Taylor Shift comes in there and they lose, it's a distraction.
And then it because but when you look at her
touring schedule, because you have to look at her touring
schedule and the Chiefs home schedule. She goes back out
on tour in November, So we got like a month

window here of where could Taylor Swift go see Travis
Kelcey and it not be terrible? All Right, it's the

on when she goes that could be the storyline. We
want to prevent that from happening. But I don't think
it will be the Sunday or Thursday night football against

on tour and they start playing really tough teams at home.
And by the way, I was right Michael Jackson to
see Magic Johnson play with the Lakers, one of the
first celebrities to show support after the whole HIV thing
to Magic Johnson, and Johnston recalls in a recent article

two that he invited Michael Jackson to a Lakers game
and they had to stop the game to get him
out because it was such a distraction. Imber that, Yeah,
I remember that story as well. So if that's the
sort of reaction to Michael Jackson gets, what sort of
reaction are you gonna get when Taylor Swift shows up

to support Travis Kelsey. It might sound ridiculous, it does,
but it's it's reacting because it is ridiculous. But when
you think about what's reported on TMZ Sports and what
people talk about on Fox Sports, ESPN everywhere, this Travis
Kelcey tellers swift thing. You know who's talking about it.
You would think Kavin on Richwood because we talk about
a lot of nonsense. Cowhard's talking about it. Stephen A like,

we're talking about the analytical guys. They are talking about
two big megastars. And by the way, I'll prove it
to you right now. This is going to be the
headline if they were to lose, or if Kelsey were
to have a bad game. Had we known that Kim
Kardashian was dating Odell Beckham Junior prior to his injury,
the second he rolled his ankle, people will be like, oh,
that's the Kim Kardashian curse. If we had known that,

it does sound crazy, but when you think about what

it weren't played out properly. Because what happens when some
one starts dating another celebrity in the sports world, if
they start performing poorly? Yeah, distraction for the reason, right,

they're the reason. So my point is, if you roll
in Taylor Swift to Arrowhead this weekend they're playing the Bears,
Kelsey eight catches, ninety yards touchdown. Oh she's great. If
you roll in Taylor Swift when they're you know, playing
the Eagles at home and they lose and Kelsey has
five yard you know, five catches for thirty yards, all
of a sudden, Taylor Shift's the worst and she's a distraction. Okay,

I was so like, really, of all the events where

owns dealerships. All of his brothers. I met all of

effort into it. Thought it was just like, yeah, I'll

up and that one stuck. So he made that in
fifteen minutes.

Sometimes that is how the best art is made because
you think about it. And it's true in sports too.

doing the Carlton and I'm talking about Alfonso Ribero. Happy
fifty second birthday to Alfonso Robiro, who was a big
part of my childhood.

We were joking about it earlier today on our Patreon
from the Tap Dance Kid. He was on Broadway. He
was doing all these breakdance poping.

Lock, yes, the Michael Jackson glove.

Yeah, breakdown. He had all that stuff. He was a
dancing kid. He was a celebrity kid. Opposite Ricky Schroeder,
opposite Michael Jackson, and then opposite Will Smith. And throughout
the years he sort of created this nerdy character and
he sort of ended up with this nerdy reputation in
(39:52):
nerdy stigma because of this Carlton character, but because he
played it so well. And we have a lot of
our friends that are watching The Fresh Prince of bel
Air reminiscing with their kids now and they look back
and they realized, you know, the show wouldn't have been
as much of a hit as it was if it
wasn't for Carlton and Alfonso Obriro's character. And that got
us thinking, Yeah, I mean, first of all, great dude,

not the name drop, but Keavino and I have had
him on the show many times over the years. In fact,
we bumped into him at a party once and we
had just had him on the show, so he was
a familiar We were familiar faces because we had seen
him like a day before, and it was one of
those events where we didn't really know anyone, and I
don't think he knew anyone. So we ended up hanging
with Alfonso Robero the whole night. Yeah, and he is
a really good dude, and it brings up the whole

conversation of the best ancillary characters in TV shows, the
best ancillary players on a team, like the guy that
wasn't designed to hit the walk off hit, but he did.
It's a fan favorite that came out of nowhere, the
guy that made the show. And I'll give you an example.
I mean might be the number one example of our

childhood family matters debuted as part of tgif the Winslow's
that was supposed to be the show got any cheese.
Erkle was just the neighbor who was supposed to be
the ancillary character the Randa Like, oh, the neighbor, the
nerdy kid that likes Laura ends up being the star

of the show. They have Erkle dolls. You pulled the
string on his back. Yeah, he was a Jaleel White
became the star of that show. Of the show Allah,
our buddy Neil Patrick Harris, who How I Met your Mother?
A story about Ted Mosby and how he met his wife,
The womanizing, which is Ironicus in real life. He's a
gay man. Neil Patrick Harris, the Womanizer. Barney Stinson becomes

the star.

So Alfonso Roberol's Carlton character became a scene stealer, right,
it wouldn't have been the same without the guy he was.
I mean, look, Will Smith is a big star, but
Carlton was the comedy relief. He sort of made it funny.
So the contest hilary characters in entertainment and in sports,
the surprising superstars. We want you guys to think about it, nominate, somebody,
