Speaker 3 (00:20):
Today, seventy we should all hung one hundred burger on them.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Probably, Well, it's usually the burger I think stops at seventy.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Is that what it is? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I think like I don't think there's an eighty burger. Actually,
I don't know if I've used I heard burger used
past fifty. But for today we'll allow it.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Nobody, nobody can keep up with us. Nobody can keep
up with us.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Wow, impossible, I mean impossible.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
There is the there's the uh bills looming next week.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
All that pizza game defense real worried about them.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I wouldn't be worried about anyone right now after a
little Now.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
That you're bringing up the bills, I'm a little mad
at you, Chris.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Well, can I get the sponsor reads out?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:05):

(01:29):
to come back on a night when the Dolphins didn't
score seventy, we.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Try to probably won't happen.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Well, I don't think you're gonna score seventy every game,
but we're usually about knee jerk reactions, but tonight it uh,
I mean, I probably shouldn't even be here, to be
honest with you. So what what are you mad at
me about? Aren't you going up?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
But day?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
You always influenced me the wrong way, you know. I mean,
obviously everything that I've been saying about the NFL is
just coming true right in front of our eyes. All right,
So I'm dead on. I'm more than just eye candy.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Yeah that cowboy. That cowboy.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
We'll get to that later on.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
To quit patting yourself on the back. You got the Dolphins, right,
let's not start tearing down the goalpost.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
But you know what I was doing my prediction as
I was picking them to, you know, win the division,
win the conference, get the number one seed and go
to the Super Bowl, And you were kind of papooing
them a little bit.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Because I don't. I still am papoo.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
I wanted to pick them to go seventeen and oh
and obviously that's what's going to happen now. And I'm
more than enthusiastic because I mean, if anybody's going to
beat the old Dolphin record of going undefeated, it's my
current Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
So and plus, didn't I tell you about Tua? Didn't
I tell you about Tua MVP?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
How many people picked the Dolphins to win the Super
Bowl and Tua to win MVP other than myself?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Really me?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Who's the dude that you uh, that's the other Dolphins
fan Brian know.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Brian No and vj hu VJ Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, But those guys are really blowning Dolphins fans because
they weren't like They're like, well we're z you know,
they got carried away.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I'm like, go away, go away. You know.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Obviously they didn't know what I knew, and I really
should have said they were going seventeen to o.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Well, we're not even healthy yet, we're putting a.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Seventy burger up with that without our number two wide receiver,
without our lockdown corner.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I mean, we're wait until we get good. Think about it.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
If we're jelling on all cylinders, we have all our
players outye, we could go seventeen to oh you know that.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
I mean, you're off to a good start.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Doesn't get much better than three and zero and putting
seventy points on another NFL team, an NFL team that
we're constantly told has an incredible roster and should be
knocking on the door of a of a division crown
or a playoff berth, why not seventeen to O two
a MVP. I don't even know why we're going to
play the rest of the games. Guys, they should just
give it to you.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I don't know why I didn't put thousands and thousands
of dollars on the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl
in thirty to one.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
You know, it's also people like you and Todd Ferman.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
They're like, Okay, Arnie just jumped the gun with two
and we'll see if he can stay healthy.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
And I mean he's not even holding the ball. We
look so damn but what about our running game? Cha
ching Jonathan Taylor, who look how great. We look, man,
I love it.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Very happy for you, very happy for you.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Your best time in ten years. We've not been this good.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
You know that.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Though I'm glad you're staying humble about it. Though I'm
glad you're in just hey, you know, week to week
feeling pretty good about things. I'm glad you're just taking
it a week at a time. I'm glad you're not
getting two over your skis are carried away here because
there's never been a situation where a team start at
two and oh, three and oh, four and oh and
have had the bottom fall out.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
So I don't think for you, I don't think there's
ever been a team that started off three and oh
with the best offense in the history of the NFL
ever not make the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
So we'll see if this.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Is the first the NFL oh, whether it deserve better?
Tell me a better offense, and then what we're witness
right now.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I don't have time to go down a laundry list
of history with you, but if you want to proclaim
it as the greatest offense ever, fine go for it.
I mean, we hand out a lot of trophies after
three weeks in the NFL, so tear it down, enjoy it.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Who's the best team in the NFL right now?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Kansas City Chiefs, Nah Bologne, he stopped at three and zero,
defending champs.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Absolutely, we beat down like they've never had it before.
Maybe I hope we play him in the AFC Championship.
Nobody scares me. You know that, don't you. There's not
one team out there. Wait till we're done with the
Buffalo Bills next weekend in Buffalo two bad. It's not
gonna be like a you know, twelve feet of snow

(05:45):
or something to help you guys out.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
So I didn't help him out in the AFC champ
or in the AFC Divisional playoffs last year, the Bagels
went out and took care of him. So yeah, I mean, hey, congrats, dude.
You should be on cloud nine. I don't see anyone
stopping them. I think they're in a I think they
should consider McDaniel's Coach of the Year. I think right
now there's no question two as an MVP candidate, if

(06:07):
not the leader in the clubhouse.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Of course, now he has the odds on favorite.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Of course, you shouldn't be You shouldn't be scared of
anything because I mean to a state, healthiest whole career.
He's never had an issue, so I would feel really
good about the way. They didn't have the same similar
start last year. Now no one scored seventy, But I
don't know if anyone's as bad as the Broncos. Dude,
you should just go ahead and book those Super Bowl
tickets now, because nothing's ever gone wrong with two and

(06:32):
the Dolphins before.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I don't know if we have a boss above us,
but get that guy on the line, and I demand
it should be like Colin, Arnie and Plank like Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
I think that's okay.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Just just you and Colin can do it.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I'll be wow wow, I just so humble.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Enjoy your time. This is your moment.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Shine on years What do you think shine on? I mean, who.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Well, listen, you don't have to start bearing your history
just because you're feeling really good about things. I mean,
it's the Mark brothers. Who the Marx Brothers? What Mark Duper,
Mark Clayton, the wide Receivers.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Did they call him the Marx brothers?

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yes, you didn't know that.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I didn't know they called him the Marx Brothers. I
just knew it was super duper and Mark.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Clayton, the Marx brothers.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Okay, I thought those were Groucho and whatever is no.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
But I mean, let's let's be honest.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
There's we haven't seen an offense like that, and really
without the number two wide receiver in the lockdown corner,
and and really without a true running back too, and
we just we ran for three hundred and seventy five
yards or something, which is not bad, I guess, but
you know, I mean, if if we're gonna run like
that and throw like this every game, you tell me
who's gonna go ahead and keep close?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Nobody, of course not.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
But if only, if only, Arnie, if only there was
some historical perspective, the Miami Dolphin starting three and oh
if only gosh, I gotta dig. Oh yeah, it was
the last freaking year when they went three and zero
and proceeded to lose their next three games. So why
don't you call him down just a little bit. You
got hurt me before you he was able to play.

(08:12):
He was able to play still in that Bills game,
got to win, but he got hurt, lost three in
a row, and then when he came back, you won
five in a row, but then lost five in a
row again.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
So I love your confidence.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
You should be talking your talk, but this whole greatest
thing ever you kind of setting yourself up for the fall.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
I worry here, stinking genius. No I'm not.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I'm really act you're not too worried about it at all.
I feel pretty good.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
I could go back and find the show from week
three last year, when he's probably saying the same stupid stuff.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Oh, he didn't have a seventy point game to c.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
I can't help you, and I can't help that, you know,
if he's gonna get hurt. But I think he's learned,
you know, how to do things a little bit differently.
Did he take some taekwondo on how to fall?

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Or yeah, but that or some point to where it
doesn't matter how you fall. Inevitably, if you step wrong
or if you get hit wrong, you're gonna get hurt.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Hit.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I don't think anybody's got within four steps of the guy.
Why do they even bother rushing anybody? Nobody's even getting
close to him.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
You know what, I think you're right, Yeah, you should
stop rushing.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Don't even run. It's like, do they count for Mississippi
before they come in. But it look like they're getting body.
Anybody put any pressure on the guy.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
This is the whole show, peeps. I'm just the right telling.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
You it doesn't look like they're getting it. Has he
ever been tackled?

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Me?

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Right here? Why shouldn't we talk about the Dolphins? Seriously?
They're only the best time? Should we right now?

Speaker 3 (09:33):
And already span you said they were and they were
thirty to one underdogs to win the Super Bowl thirty
Think how rich I could be right now? If I
put down one million dollars, I'd get back thirty million dollars.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
Do you have one million dollars to put down?

Speaker 4 (09:48):
No, what are you kidding me? My wife would kill me.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
Well, your wife would kill you if you put down
twenty bucks on anything.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
So true, that's true.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about, But all right,
we'll just continue.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
I'm just gonna sit.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
I want to hear more about the greatness of this
team who is never going to be touched and never
going to lose a game, because I wanted to talk
about the games in the league.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
But I mean obviously imploded tonight. No, I mean I
do want to get into the Cowboys. Well, we'll touch
on that. Very disappointed with what happened there. I didn't
see that one coming a mile away. And I don't
know how you feel with your your Raiders, man, I mean,
are you just waving the towel now, can you? You

(10:28):
can't even get the number one pick. I'm starting to
hear all those rumors that might be true about Minnesota
getting rid of Cousins and just so they can just
go ahead and just completely falter and and get the
number one pick.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Though I don't think they get the number one pick,
even if they do.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Get rid of cus.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
That was another one of your guarantees that they were
going to win a division. It was one of the
divisions that.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Was that Minnesota was that one of them? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, why play the White play the games Minnesota? It's
over in the north. Minnesota is going to win that division.
How am I feeling about the Raiders right now?

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Arnie?

Speaker 2 (10:59):
They got the football in Steelers territory? Yes, they go eight.
I'm not feeling too bad about it right now. They
could not play.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
More horribly, I know, geez, and.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
They're within a score of the Steelers.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I will say this, Yeah, I haven't quite figured out
how to feel about Jimmy Garoppolo yet. And maybe this
is what Niners fans have been talking about, is that
Jimmy g experience to where there's moments where you watch
him and you're like, this dude is a pretty sharp
and literally the next play you wonder if he's throwing
with the wrong hand or if he's concussed or something.

(11:30):
But I don't know what to make of the old
Jimmy Garoppolo experience right now, except to say that somehow
we've got ourselves a one score game here in Monday
Night football when our Sunday Night Football and the Raiders,
I don't think they could have played much worse for
three and a half.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Courtsch, I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
You know.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I heard the pre game and they were talking about
how Jimmy g Gle loves Vegas and he bought a
house on.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
The doesn't love Vegas though, right.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
No, No, that on the ten tee or something like that,
And I'm like, shouldn't this guy be renting instead of buying.
I don't feel that confident that he should be buying
a house instead of renting a place.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
After this year, I'm not so sure about.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
That you know, well, let's just kind of think about
this for a moment.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Jimmy Garoppolo had a fifty five million dollar deal with
San Francisco. I think that he's at what twenty two
to twenty three million with the Raiders, So I don't
really think it matters to him about renting or buying
a house, ARENI. I think he can have multiple homes
right now. I think, more than anything, what's been magnified

(12:34):
to me is as much as we thought we knew
about the AFC North heading into this season. Listen to,
Steelers do not have an offense. The Ravens just somehow
lost to the Colts today. The Browns, okay, you know
that was pretty dominant today against the Tennessee Titans. And
the Bengals are staring zero and three in the face

(12:55):
without Joe Burrow tomorrow night, most likely against the Rams,
and it looks like, I mean, I'm assuming the Steelers
are gonna hold on and be two and one. But
let's say even if the Raiders come back and tie
this game for US overtime or whatever, I don't know
what to make of this mess.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
That's the AFC North, right, you know, to be honest
with you.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
It's funny you brought that up because I what I wanted.
I put a new thing down for Roman Nu rule
number ten where it says, can we please stop saying?
And that was gonna be my one thing I go,
can we please stop saying how Lamar Jackson's such an
elite quarterback.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
I think that's got to stop about how good.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
He is now Baltimore, it's all great, and now they
were gonna win that division and they're going, you know,
to the super Bowl and give him his money and
how we got it. That's gotta stop, all right, That's
gonna stop today. I please, I'm begging youcause you're you're
one of the leaders in the clubouse with that.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
In fairness, they're two and one.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I mean, did they lose some futred Colts team today, Yes,
But I mean there's still a two and one football
team in a seventeen game season. Not everyone is tearing
down the goalpost after week three like you are. But
he did, I mean threw for over two hundred yards today.
They ran the ball pretty ran for over one hundred yards.
I mean, I don't know what you're talking about. The
dude was pretty phenomenal two hundred yards. I need a

(14:08):
little bit more out of my quarterback to two hundred
yards pass? Well, okay, then adding his one hundred yards receiving.
So he just gave you three hundred total yards.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
All right, Well, you want to keep up with the
I beg Joe, I said nicely.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
I said please, But if you didn't want to listen
on that one. But right, just the.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Loss to the Colts. The Colts beat the Chiefs in
Week three or four last year. I mean, weird things happen.
It's the NFL. The Arizona Cardinals beat the Dallas Cowboys.
I didn't see you gonna you're gonna dump all over
Lamar Jackson on a day where he ran for one
hundred yards and two scores.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
I mean, that's not his fault.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
I'll tell you. I'll give you another one.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
If I had the chance to do a mulligan, I
would take Cleveland to win that division.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Now.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
I think they're the class of that division.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Right now, I think there's this.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
I think there's still a good chance that the Bengals
could win that division. Oh, I'll tell you. I'll tell
you what. There is a part of me that is
super worried about Joe Burrow. I mean, if I was
a Beagles fan, I am on panic level on a
what's a high panic level, red, yellow orange whatever?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Def Con one through five? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
Yeah, there you go. I'm on def Con five right now.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Now.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Speaking of that, Steeler fans, you better jump on a
higher level of deaf con because you guys keep doing
stupid stuff all over during this This is incredible. Yeah, the
Raiders are now in the red zone after making a
field goal that would have made it twenty three to eighteen.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I didn't catch the call on that, did you.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I didn't see what the call was, but it was
enough to give the Raiders the first down. They took
the points off the board, and now they're inside.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
The ten yard line. Maybe it was running into the.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Kick or oh they called my leverage jumping over the
center or something like that.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
Yeah, that was also called in a what was that
a Thursday night football game?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (15:48):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, North Carolina State in Virginia, Virginia blocked the game
winning field goal and they called leverage because the guy
I think actually that was just jumping on or something. Yeah,
he jumped on the center to block the potential game
winning score, but the Raiders trying to score and get
a two point conversion to Force. Well, I don't want
to say force overtime left, there's still a Force overtime.

(16:10):
Yet there's still plenty.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Of time left the seasons on the line here.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I mean, Arnie, they're playing in a division with Justin
Herbert and Patrick Mahomes and I have Jimmy Garoppolo. I
think our season was already done whenever we made that
a stage to start the year. I mean, let's just
be honest about it now. If you want to say
they need this to stay alive for a wild.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Card, yes, yes, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
I mean we're three games in, but again I keep
forgetting who I'm doing the show with his team scoring
seventy tonight, So it's all we're going to hear about.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Yeah, if you see any just hit him. I'm not
even gonna look at Twitter tonight.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
In your opinion, Yeah, was the decision by Josh McDaniels
with two twenty two to go in the game on
a fourth and four for the Pittsburgh eight yard line
to kick a field goal when you're down eight? Was
it the softest decision ever made by.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
A fourth fourth and what you said? Fourth?

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Fourth and fourth?

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Yeah? No, you you.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Have to go for something like that. You can't kick
the ball and then to hope you get it back.
And first of all, you're not even gonna on site
kick it, so now you gotta hope that you hold
them defensively, which was a possibility until they got the
first down completion, but that that's not what you do
on fourth and for you you go for it? What
is I don't even know, but I would say tried

(19:12):
to pick up a fourth and four fifty maybe a little.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Bit maybe, Well you have you have DeVante Adams right right.
I mean he's catching everything tonight. So I don't I
don't know why you don't do that. Now, I'm sure
what Josh McDaniels is, someone who has listened to way
too many of his postgame press conferences, would tell you, well,
you know, we got what we wanted. We still had
it third down and oh and he just dropped the punt.

(19:38):
Are you freaking kidding me? He added, I almost cussed
on the air.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
Please please keep your finger on the dumb button in
these final few seconds.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Are your way ahead of me this time? How about that?

Speaker 2 (19:48):
It's it was uh, it was the softest plate. Here's
what Josh mcdanie's gonna say. I'm rattled now, I'm shook,
I'm I'm angry. Right, He'll say, well, we got what
we wanted. We had him in a third down with
you know, two eleven to go, and I'm like, you
had them in a third and two, which the Raiders
haven't shown that they can stop.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
But maybe what once or twice.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
In this game? Right right?

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Right?

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Oh, it's just twenty three to eighteen. There's twelve seconds left.
The Raiders have it onlike their own ten The obnoxiously
brilliant Steeler fans took over the stadium again. No kudos
to the Raiders fans, aren't he They did fight back
a lot of terrible towels though in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
You know, it's interesting, especially you know, going back to
not going forward on fourth and fourth. What did we
say before the season started? Do you see anything different
this year that may happen? I go, we may see
more people go ford on fourth down? How many more
coaches have gone forward on fourth down than just was
it the Minnesota game where they went forth on a
fourth down in their own territory? It almost at that

(20:52):
point cost in the game right there. Yeah, that was crazy.
But they got the guns. These coaches are rolling the die.
That's why I'm really shocked on why the Raiders didn't
go for it.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
On fourth and fourth.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yep, and Jimmy g just diced it with an interception.
Third the night, no big third of the night.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Are you Raider fans?

Speaker 2 (21:12):
You're still celebrating Derek Carr being gone, happiest day of
your life. And Derek Carr didn't get resigned and they
benched him for the last few games. Oh well, I
mean there were two and zero until he got hurt.
Did you see what happened? As soon as he went
out of the game three series, they couldn't move a
freaking football. But yet, the Raiders big problem was Derek Carr. Oh,
let's go get Jimmy Garoppolo. Let's get this turd to

(21:33):
go out there and throw three picks. Oh great, he
beat the Broncos because he had a running play. Well,
the Broncos just gave up seventy freaking points to the Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
This is an.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Absolute disaster in what's going on in Vegas? Your stadium,
my beloved Raiders. Our stadium is getting taken over by
opposing fans. We've got an arrogant, smug coach who's supposed
to be an offensive genius, and he's scoring eighteen points
against Pittsburgh with a quarterback that's throwing three in or sevens.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
As happy as you are, is as angry as I
am today?

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yes, I'm honestly believable happy about my Dolphins. You're gonna
have to hope that somehow you can get into like
a top three pick, and lets you have the number
one pick.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
It doesn't make much of a difference at this one.
I guess, well, no, no, no, I would.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I would say it's a consolation prize, right, but I
wouldn't complain about Drake maybe in my quarterback the North
Carolina again, Yeah, I think it'd be really good. So
I don't think it's Caleb Williams or bust. But it's
also I'm gonna try to be calm here, Arnie. Still
one and two, Still one and two.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Right.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
They get to go play the Chargers next week in
Los Angeles, and then they get the Uh. I think
they've got Monday Night Football the following week after that,
so I'll keep my hope alive. They were much worse
last year at this point in the season. They do
have the Bears coming up in a couple of weeks,
so that's a guarantee dub, right, that's a guaranteed dub
on the schedule right now. But a disastrous performance at

(22:59):
the quarterback position tonight for the Las Vegas Raiders, but
oh no, no, no, I don't want Derek Carr around
here no more.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
He's just absolutely terrible.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Twenty three points too, And I know Pittsburgh's offense is terrible.
That should be enough to win your home game. I'm
just saying, your defense holds an opposing offense to twenty
three points, I think you should win your game.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
That one interception by Jimmy g when it was around
the thirty five yard line of the other side, you
guys were moving the ball and I'm like, oh, geez,
I was talking about ill timing. And then when he
threw up along the sideline, I'm like, what the hell
are you doing?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Man? What was that all about? He did figure that
one out.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I mean, Arnie, they were doing whatever they want with
these little incuts to the receivers, right Davante Adams, Shacobe Myers.
I mean, they were just doing whatever they want. And
then he tried to throw one to tight end and
threw it right to a Steelers to fitsive back. By
the way, Johnny checked in on your Minnesota Vikings take
about what they were doing. He writes, what was in

(23:59):
the world in Minnesota last two minutes? Coaching or lack
of la goes forward on their own twenty four to
fourth and one, leading by four and no timeouts for Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
What a fail?

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Then with the ball back a completion well into the
red zone, no spike, game over. Yeah, and then I'll
add Johnny to your take. What did the Vikings do afterwards?
They blamed their own fans for being too loud. It's like, oh,
the fan noise was too much. That was a weird game.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
That was amazing, amazing.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Look, I said, coaches are go for it on fourth down,
but I didn't think they were going on something like that,
Chris that I don't blame you for button on that one.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
How do you go for it on fourth down there?
That's insane? You know.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
By the way, I'm not gonna lie I haven't watched
all the highlights of your Dolphins game because I had
it on red zone and I just saw Tyreek Hill's
first touchdown? Was there even a defender within like thirty yards?
Is this gonna be every single one of these highlights
that I watch, Arnie? Are these gonna be dudes just
running wide open with no one even hear them? Is

(25:00):
that what happens here today?

Speaker 3 (25:02):
You know, it's amazing because you think you would have
double coverage on him, considering there was no wattle. And
you said, Okay, let's see how the Dolphins are going
to do today. They'll double cover tyree, and we'll see
if the Dobbins could run the ball.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
The Dobbins just ran the ball down.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
I mean, nobody's talking about that over what three seventy
five or something like that in rushing.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Birds dutt Is that some type of record? That's crazy?

Speaker 1 (25:23):
You know?

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Well, you know who is our man that always has
his eyes on the records.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
It's Steve de Sager.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
And as we come to you tonight from the Tirack
dot com studios, Steve Sager's has Steve de Sager has
all the notes.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
What's going on?

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Steve, Hello, gentlemen.

Speaker 8 (25:37):
And apparently with that last Jimmy Garoppolo toss, he now
leads the league in interceptions here, Oh.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Yeah, baby, Hey, we're leading the league in something.

Speaker 8 (25:46):
Take that haters, one ahead of the man who threw
four today, Sam Hell in the Washington home loss. That
was Buffalo thirty seven to three at Washington. Next Sunday,
the Bills host the Dolphins. We'll talk about them later.
But in La Vegas tonight it was Pittsburgh twenty three
to eighteen over the Las Vegas Raiders. Garoppolo two touchdowns,

(26:06):
three picks sacked, four times.

Speaker 9 (26:08):
Our weeknight I guess.

Speaker 8 (26:09):
Jason Cole points out that the Raiders have scored under
twenty points in each of their first three games here
with Garoppolo.

Speaker 9 (26:16):
They never did that in back to back games with
Derek Carr last year.

Speaker 8 (26:19):
Just for the record, and our former co worker here,
Andrew Ceciliano tweets after the game, there really is not
a reasonable justification for the Raiders kicking that late field goal.
You know, so if you turn the ball over on downs,
you still have her three timeouts. Not sure how you
explain that to your.

Speaker 9 (26:36):
Team end quote.

Speaker 8 (26:38):
Keep in mind it was what still down eight they
would be if they with their three timeouts could play
a little defense and get the ball back because there
was a lot late that it well, it just didn't
matter anyway, but.

Speaker 9 (26:50):
Kicking the field goal.

Speaker 8 (26:51):
Remember they had kicked the field goal with three minutes left,
the forty eight yards. They took the points off the
board with that leverage penalty by Pittsburgh on the special teams,
and then wasted another minute trying to get closer and
then kicked a short field goal anyway, Okay, twenty three
eighteen Pittsburgh. The final DeVante Adams in defeat was targeted

(27:14):
twenty times. He had thirteen catches one hundred and seventy
two yards two touchdowns. I believe Keenan Allen was targeted
twenty times today. Chargers held on to win at Minnesota
twenty eight twenty four. Allen had eighteen catches, two hundred
and fifteen yards and a touchdown pass. The Vikings are
oh and three, the Bears are oh and three. They

(27:34):
were down forty one to nothing at Kansas City in
the third quarter, Chiefs forty one ten the final Carolina's
oh to three. After losing at Seattle thirty seven to
twenty seven. Andy Dalton was at QB in that defeat
and had three hundred and sixty one yards passing two scores.
Arizona upset Dallas twenty eight to sixteen. Cardinals led at
the half twenty one to ten after a sixty two

(27:56):
yard field goal by Matt Prater. Saints quarterback Derek Carr
injured his right shoulder on a sack, and then Green
Bay scored eighteen points in the fourth quarter to win
eighteen to seventeen, and it was Indy in overtime winning
at Baltimore twenty two to nineteen. Matt Gay game winning
fifty three yard field goal for the Colts. He hit
two fifty three yarders in the fourth quarter as well,

(28:18):
wound up five for five on field goals in an
overtime win. This Saturday on Fox TV College Football noon
Eastern Time, Colorado hosts number eight USC. Colorado is out
of college football's Top twenty five. NASCAR win for William
Byron at Texas. The baseball game at Dodger Stadium tonight
went to la and ten innings over the rival Giants

(28:39):
three to two. Giants are just about done record of
seventy seven and seventy nine just one week left in
the regular season, but the Phillies are looking good. They
won their fifth straight, five to two over the Mets.
Texas is looking great. First place in the AL West
now a great weekend. They've won five in a row.
In fact, beat Seattle again nine to eight today and
home wins for Reds, Miami and the Cubs. Cubs lead

(29:03):
for the final NL wildcard spot till still one game
over Miami two and a half games up on the Reds.
Now about that Dolphins contest? Yes, Yes, the final was
seventy to twenty over Denver, which.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
They just scored again, I think maybe that may be possible.

Speaker 8 (29:19):
After all, they had over seven hundred yards of offense
in an NFL game, and we hadn't had a seventy
point total from any NFL team well in our lifetimes,
well except for Arnis for the rest of us in
our lifetimes. Washington scored seventy two in a game in
nineteen sixty six. The nineteen fifty LA Rams had a

(29:39):
seventy point game. The record still the Chicago Bears in
the nineteen forty title game seventy three points. That was
a seventy three nothing game, the largest margin of victory
in any of the four major sports until it got
tied a couple of years ago in the Oklahoma City
Thunder lost by seventy three to Memphis.

Speaker 9 (30:02):
I looked that one up.

Speaker 8 (30:03):
That was Grizzlies one fifty two to seventy nine a couple.

Speaker 9 (30:06):
Of years ago.

Speaker 8 (30:07):
With Ja Moran out injured but missing for the Thunder
were seven players, including shake Elcho Alexander. Actually, the Grizzlies
were up seventy eight at one point. They could have
set the record. They settled for a seventy three point margin.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
The victims beg to you thanks Steve de Seger.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
In fact, emmit our buddy, the blind Seahawks fans sent
this tweet since we're talking about your mimmy Dolphins, right,
he writes, someone might have put this out on social media,
but I'm taking credit for this stat. The Dolphins have
scored more points in one game than the Giants have
in three.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
Oh bravty three point.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
By the way, you know how I like to, you know,
write all the topics early, right on.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Roma numerals, like literally before the sun comes up.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
I have an early topic for the year twenty twenty nine. Okay,
the answers to, uh, the question is who would you
rather have?

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Two or mahomes? That's for twenty twenty nine.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
You you know what, it's not just the New York Giants.
Your seventy points in one game is more than the Patriots.
Jets with Bengals have one more game to play, but
they've scored twenty seven points this year.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
So let's go ahead.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Throw Cincinnati in that, the Texans, Jaguars, Titans, Raiders, so
that's seven. He mentioned, the Giants, eight, Commanders, nine, ten.
It's more points through three games than half of the NFL.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
Wow. Wow, wait, let.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Me rephrase that it's more points in one game than
half of the NFL through three, and there's a couple
teams that got to play tomorrow night. So you know, obviously,
the Rams are at fifty three right now, so they've
got a chance to get to seventy. But the Saints
are only at fifty three through three games. The Panthers
are only at fifty three. In fact, Arnie, the entire

(32:02):
NFC South as it scored as many points in three games,
and that pins the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have forty
seventy the first two. But for now, he's scoring more
in one game than the end. That's crazy South, that's great.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
And the Dolphins pretty much already guaranteed for fourteen victories.
They only have three tough games left on their schedules,
so and ones are neutral site games, so that that's
gonna be a win. So they're they're pretty much guaranteed
fifteen wins at this point. And then, yeah, I'm I'm
happy for you, Yes, thank you, But we've been here before. No,
we've not been here like this.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
I always try to preach a little bit of patience,
but you're obviously not gonna listen to.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
We're not doing knee jerk reaction Monday Sunday today.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
I guess, well, I mean you can, but I'm constantly
I feel like in the knee jerk reaction kind of like, hey, hey, Bud,
that's like four beers. You want to slow down a
little bit. I mean, it's five you're supposed to be
driving us home. I mean, these takes can only be
so scorching hot. Alie the Scottie writes, Yes, the greatest
offense ever that is a Tua falling over himself into

(33:07):
a concussion away from being garbage ouch ouch. Eric writes
the nineteen Well, you know, can I just answer that
one go ahead?

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Tua wasn't even really the best quarterback on the field today?

Speaker 5 (33:18):
Are you going to try to tell me the receiver
was that through the touch pass White?

Speaker 4 (33:22):
How to hire oh diddy? Yes he did yet to
higher quarterback? Ready to do it?

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Then?

Speaker 2 (33:28):
So when they're trailing like three zip next week after
three drives?

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Is that week?

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Are you going to send out the tweet? Put Mike
White in right now?

Speaker 4 (33:37):
White at one fight was one fifty five.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
H And Eric wants to remind you the nineteen ninety
eight Vikings just saying started seven and zero, finished fifteen
and one. Chris Carter, Randy Moss, Reed Smith, Randall Cunningham
scored a record five hundred and fifty six points. Did
not make the Super Bowl. But you can't remember though.
That was garbage because it was a missed field goal
from like a chip shot that kept.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Him from exactly that's all it took.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
And then this is a good question that I want
you to ponder during the break, and we'll get to
it next. Nature Boy asks why does Brandon Staley still
have a job in the NFL? His team saved his
butt today. Yes, there's being aggressive and there's being stupid.
Let's dive into it next. Darnian Plank coming to you
live from the tire Rack dot com studios, also brought

your first year, Discover credit cards automatically double all the

(34:24):

in Plank on a Fox Football Sunday. Coming to you
live from the ti rack dot com studios. So I
got to know after like seventy what'd you do? Was
it a party? Was it celebration time? Are you fasting

(34:49):
right now?

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Though?

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Well, yeah, I'm fasting now, But you know, back then, though,
I didn't have to fast, so I didn't have to
worry about it. And what was I you know, seventy
was I I was hoping to get a hundred, but
I knew we were gonna go ahead and eventually kurb.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
It back and not run it up on them. And
I know we.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Took a knee at the end of the game. Otherwise
we could have scored some more really, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
So did you have a problem not trying to kick
the field goal to set the record of seventy three?
Sounds like you do. Sounds like you have a problem
with it.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
I would have.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
Done it, but that's just me. You know, there's a
bigger prize the look at real.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Yeah, there's bigger. You don't want karma, No, you don't
want you don't want karma. Hey, So let's let's get
it to the two texts that we read before the break. First,
what do you make of Brandon Staley, maybe we and
we got to Seger obviously with us during the show.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
I mean, those were some boneheaded decisions you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
The first one when was twenty eight twenty forty went
forward on fourth down. I don't know how much time
in the game at that point was there, Chris, I
don't remember.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
I'll have to pull it up. But just those decisions
he's making in his own territory under two minutes, like
go ahead, yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
Under two minutes. The SEGA said, yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Oh my gosh, Steve, what is he doing? But that's him, right, Yes,
he's often said that's the way he'd coach.

Speaker 8 (36:02):
What got his first five on fourth down this year,
his very first year as a head coach, he started
eight of nine on fourth down. I get why it's attractive.
It doesn't make this a good call. And I can
quote Jimmy Johnson after this game ended on Fox, that
was a dumb decision and end quote. On the positive side,

(36:23):
Minnesota made its own mistakes and the Chargers did just enough.
There was an actual defensive stopper too here late in
the game. That itself is some sort of headline.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Thats won and it like we're hipocrites. Oh, we're giving
him crap as he won four on fourth down. But
let's give the Raiders crap for not going forth on
fourth down, you know.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
What I mean?

Speaker 8 (36:42):
I mean, yeah, I think this conversation with Brandon Staley
has to do with his history. I will say though,
that the Vikings had with about four minutes left in
the game and trailing twenty eight twenty four, Vikings had
first and goal at the three. Yeah, and got no
points out of that, including a key tackle from Kenneth
Murray around the one yard line, and then after the

(37:03):
defensive stop by Minnesota on the fourth and one, they
take over inside the Chargers twenty five under two minutes
to go and get nothing out of that. They converted
yet another fourth down. They got so many first downs
on penalties in addition, but that's a separate discussion. But
they converted on a fourth down in the final minute
to get him first and goal at the six and

(37:24):
didn't spike the ball. I know they're out of timeouts,
but it's first and goal coming up at the six,
and they, let believe it or not, almost twenty seconds
run off the clock. So here, Brandon Staley after the
game says, well, part of the reasons why I went
for it was that they were out of timeouts and
that we were up four points not three. Some would say, yeah,

(37:46):
you're up four points, so give them a long field
and doesn't that good? Okay, fine, okay, I see you're
at least thinking there's some sort of logic. I still
disagree with the decision, but the fact is that he
said they're out of timeouts, so maybe time will come
into play. Because of the boneheaded decision by the Vikings
themselves in the final half minute, time did come into play.

(38:08):
They should have had more than one play after the
first and goal late.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
You know, he needs like a consultant, guys, you know,
like like like I if I was the consultant, he
turns of me because I go four fourth out, up
by four.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
I owe, what are you an idiot? I'm certainly are
you why to get fired.

Speaker 9 (38:26):
I'm certainly has a consultant. I'm just not sure it's
human probably, So.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
You I'm just follow this logic.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
You're asking if we're hypocrites forgetting on Josh McDaniel's for
going for it on fourth down whenever they have it
in the red zone on a fourth and four with
an eight point deficit. You're asking if we're hypocrites for
saying why didn't he go for it as opposed to
Brandon Staley on his own twenty four yard line on

(38:58):
fourth and one? The four point league's critical to have that.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
I've just dowing it out there, But I do I
think that is a bad move by him going forward?
Uh well yeah, definitely by both of them. But but
going forward in your own territory, there's I'll tell you,
I don't think there's another coach in the league that
would have gone forward.

Speaker 5 (39:18):
Belichick ones, Yeah, well time, that's right. It gets Colts
and it didn't work.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Yeah, I mean, other than that, I think most of
them would have punted. I wonder how many other coaches
would have gone for a field goal like the Raiders
at a time.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
I don't think too many would have been grizzed. I
think most of the would have gone for it on
fourth down.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
If you kick a field goal there to put yourself
in a position where you could tire or win the
game with a field goal.

Speaker 8 (39:42):
Okay, now, but you're still down five tonight against the Steelers,
and there is no five point field goal for your
next possession because This isn't fantasy football where you get
extra points for extra long kicks.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
And you know sometimes you see you you were talking
about the use of analytics right when you talking about
going for it and more on fourth down. I mean,
you look at what happened in Green Bay today and
the decision that they made won them the football game,
not by kicking field goal or going for it on
fourth down, but after scoring a touchdown they cut it
to I think a two score game, they.

Speaker 9 (40:16):
Win the game. They hit the two point conversion.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
Hit the two point conversion, went for two.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
So instead of and I mean they still they still
would have been in a spot where they could have
tied the game with a touchdown right in a two
point conversion, but they hit that two point conversion thanks
to what a PI And the next thing, you know,
they win the game because they went for two whenever
they really didn't have to.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
So it's wild how we've watched this workout.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
But two very risky fourth down decisions, all right, our
one in the book, our two naxt on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 7 (40:46):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports radio

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Oh, let's go for the tirack dot Com studios. It's
already in Plank on a very special night, very special night,
the Dolphins put seventy stinking points on the board.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
I don't know if that's that special.

Speaker 5 (41:15):
I mean, when was the last time it happened?

Speaker 4 (41:17):
It may happen again. You don't know.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
You think they're going to score seventy again this year?
What kind of odds could you get on that?

Speaker 3 (41:23):
I mean, if they want to, if they could, if
they wanted to, believe me, they could put up seventy
against just about everybody, against everybody, just about everybody. I said,
just about just.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
About Did you even care to dig into the numbers?
And the last time seventy points were.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
Scored in a game or anythinteen sixty six? That's right?
Who did it that? I don't know Washington really, yeah,
I as a quarterback Billy Kilmer or something like that.
What happened?

Speaker 2 (41:55):
I know it was actually Jason Campbell. No, I have
no idea. We'd have to really go back into the
history book. The nineteen sixty six then Washington Redskins had
Sonny Jurgensen and someone named.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
Someone named Dick Shiner.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
Is that sonny? I got that one right, I got
half of it right.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
I don't know how I would go through life with
that kind of name. They beat the New York Giants
on November twenty seventh of nineteen sixty six by final
score of seventy TUDA forty one. See, your defense is
already ahead of them. Your defense is already ahead of them.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
That was just their fifth win of the season. They
finished seven and seven that year.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Oh my goodness, Wow, they must at a horrible defense.

Speaker 5 (42:40):
And you're welcome. You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
I told you all along your defense was better, and
it was because you had Vic Fangio and you all.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
Coordinators don't matter. Coordinators don't matter.

Speaker 3 (42:50):
But we do look a little bit better. I am
having about that. I love having a pass rush. I
hate that we didn't blitz as much last year.

Speaker 4 (42:58):
You know, well, it's fun.

Speaker 5 (43:00):
It's fun when you win, is it not?

Speaker 2 (43:02):
Welcome to now the world of the Bears, Cowboys, Raiders.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
And Jaguars for good teams that lost today real quick.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Just on a little side note, I don't know if
this is NFL related or not. I guess you could
put it on their NFL related Do you care?

Speaker 4 (43:17):
I kind of do.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
I think it's pretty cool. But do you care about
this whole Taylor Swift beat at the game? I think
it's kind of cool that she was there.

Speaker 4 (43:24):
You know, does.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Anything that pop on ESPN you just feel like you
need to talk about? Is it because the highlights or
are the NFL network?

Speaker 5 (43:30):
Right cha?

Speaker 4 (43:31):
I wasn't watch it. I don't have the NFL network on.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
Yeah, well because somebody said us a a tweet.

Speaker 5 (43:38):
That's why I think it's awesome. I think it's cool
as hell.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
I don't know why some people are freaking out about it, really,
I mean, do you have a problem with it?

Speaker 3 (43:47):
No?

Speaker 4 (43:47):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (43:48):
I think I think she's very cool. To be honest
with you, I don't know. I'm sure I've heard of
her songs, but I couldn't name one. But she seemed
like a down the earth person.

Speaker 4 (43:57):
I like her.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
You know, you don't think you could identify a Taylor
Swift song.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
I mean, if you played the music, I'm sure I could.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
I would imagine, though, ARNI, you probably don't have to
deal with a lot of top forty hits, right, I
would Shay's already graduating in you and you and your
wife are empty nesters, so you don't have anyone like
I do with my fourteen and nine year old who
are constantly cramming the latest greatest hits.

Speaker 5 (44:22):
Now my throat, Oh look.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
At you, and you make it sound like, oh, you're
mister cool because you knew all the latest hits from
Tailor Swift.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
No, I'm not saying I would listen to him. I'm
just saying my daughters do. So I'm a good day
and I support them. I mean, listen, You've got the
hottest act going in the world right now, dating a
two time Super Bowl champion, future Hall of Famer in
Travis Kelcey's an awesome story and he's awesome story.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
She's a ten and he's like a solid seven. So
that's a seventeen between the two of them.

Speaker 5 (44:53):
So you know this this ring about he's not going
to know any of these.

Speaker 4 (44:56):
No, I don't know this song. I'm sorry, I don't
know this one.

Speaker 5 (44:59):
Yeah, you can do your I.

Speaker 4 (45:01):
Know the commercial. I see the commercial that she does.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Right, she does the credit card commercial. So and and
I guess there's a part of me that is kind
of an old curmudget on some of these where it's like, oh,
this is a story, but it's Taylor Swift. I mean,
she's just is the heiress tour over or it's it's
been the great one of the biggest tours ever. She
sold out stadiums. She's got some of the best bangers
going right now, so I don't have a problem with

(45:26):
people talking about it.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
And she was going she was going crazy, what he's
going to touch it? And that that seemed real too.
That wasn't fake. That was I'm not gonna lie. Yeah,
she was happy.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
I thought that was the coolest thing in the whole
the whole thing watching her celebrate that touchdown dropping after
is great.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
That and somebody sent us a picture that she was
eating chicken wings with the ranch and something else.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
So she's like, I've never.

Speaker 5 (45:50):
Seen barbecue sauce before on a plate. It was like,
it looks like it's ketchup. It's like barbecue sauce.

Speaker 4 (45:56):
Come on, man, calm down, It's okay. It's Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Looks a little different.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Yeah, but when you're big star just supposed to be
eating caviar and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
Oh, come on, let me makes her more down to earth, Arnie.
She's more like one of us, more like one of us.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
I thought they'd be eating caviar, drinking champagne and stuff
like that.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
I got another beating chicken fingers.

Speaker 5 (46:16):
I'm not gonna lie to you.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
The one video that is shown of them walking out
of the locker room that does not look.

Speaker 5 (46:22):
Like Travis Kelce to me, like with his good what
is that?

Speaker 4 (46:27):
I don't even know yet. I don't even know what
that is.

Speaker 5 (46:29):
Who is that dude right there?

Speaker 4 (46:30):
I think it's like a fake Travis kelcey?

Speaker 5 (46:33):
Oh, yes, you think they got a body with him
walking out?

Speaker 2 (46:38):
All right, Well, let's let's hit some tweets here. I
was I was gonna get into something and you three,
we have.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
A lot of tweets. We have a right, Yeah, tonight,
I'm gonna be a record.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
I fall behind. We come to live from the tyrack
dot Com studios. Tire rack dot com will help you
get there an unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road
hazard protection, and over ten thousand RECs committed installers. Tire
rack dot Com the way tire buying should be. Now,
you mentioned the greatness of your dolphins, right, yes, let's

(47:10):
real quick talk about the misery of your other Super
Bowl pick. What in the world was that from the
Dallas Cowboys?

Speaker 3 (47:18):
No way I saw that coming. How does something like
that happen? Are you just not ready for the game?
Do you think you were just gonna go ahead and
run right through them no matter what you were going
to show up with? And they got behind too by
a couple of scores. It wasn't like they were fighting
it out and just had a couple of bad breaks
or something like that, Chris.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
They were really struggling.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
They made the Cardinals look like a playoff team for
crying out loud? Can we please stop saying you know
that that was in the room in the world ten
Can we please stop saying how great Dad Prescott is
and how he deserved all that money?

Speaker 4 (47:51):
And I think maybe I was wrong.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
Maybe the Cowboys are not a super Bowl team right
now with the way they looked against the Cardinals.

Speaker 4 (47:57):
That was horrible.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
It doesn't take much for you to change your mind,
does it. It literally is like one bad performance in
your out. Oh no, that's pretty bad. That was very bad.
Brady lost wages Nevada right. Speaking of bad coaching, I
have to add Barney Rubble and Dallas into the mix.
Down by eight with about a quarter left, he goes
forward on fourth instead of a chip shot field goal.
Very next possession, still down eight with halftime, he kicks

(48:20):
a field goal. Some of the coaching decision is up
there with the officiating, right, We're always gonna have questions,
there's always gonna be issues and concerns. But you know,
Mike McCarthy, that's just I get a Trayvon Diggs got hurt, right,
But did that change the odds for this game that
suddenly people start banging Arizona.

Speaker 5 (48:41):
No, Arizona is a team that's that's tanking, right.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
I mean they literally are starting a quarterback that they
brought in with a week left in training camp, and
they've surprisingly been in every single game that they've played.

Speaker 3 (48:53):
And you had the running game going with Powared. I mean,
powered had a pretty good game on the ground at DAC.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
Still.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
I mean, look, it wasn't like he had an awful
game and we had one interception, but he's got to
put up bigger numbers than that against the mediocre Arizona
bad Arizona team.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
Actually, yeah, no, absolutely, It's just that's the that's the
one that makes no sense to me. Today we can
go through them, all right, because today was a day
of you know, jaw dropping numbers with your Dolphins putting
seventy on the board and blowouts. I mean, the Chiefs
absolutely destroying the Chicago Bank.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
That game also took a lot of people out of
their survivor pools.

Speaker 5 (49:31):
Too, That Cardinals Cowboys game, right.

Speaker 4 (49:34):
Yeah, absolutely, yeah, good. But you don't like survivors.

Speaker 2 (49:40):
You don't like that well, and I'll tell you why,
because I'm awful at him. That's why I would probably
have been all over the Cowboys. So that's why. But
of all the disappointing performances today, Titan's only putting three
on the board in Cleveland. The Falcons getting beat up
by the Lions, the Saints implosion after Derek Carr's injury,
the Vikings blowing an opportunity in their red zone, the

(50:03):
Jets looking miserable as always, the Commanders just absolutely laying
an egg? What what our guy throw four picks? Five picks,
Sam Howe, The Ravens getting beat by the Colts at home,
the Jaguars getting embarrassed by the Texans.

Speaker 5 (50:17):
Arnie, nothing is worse than what happened to the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
No, you're right, and there's a lot there's a lot
of nominees as you were.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
Just went through them right now, and I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (50:27):
I mean, I could probably easily give you a top three,
but the Cowboys are still gonna be right there on top.

Speaker 4 (50:34):
You can't lose to that game.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
Not because they were two and zero and I picked
them to go to the super Bowl. It's because one,
you're a twelve and a half point favorite, you're the
biggest favorite on the board. Two, we know the Cardinals
are not a very good team. Three you're supposed to
be an upper elite team there. You're supposed to be
a team that's gonna compete not only for the division,
but a chance to maybe make the NFC Championship. And
you rolled over like the dogs that you were today.

(50:57):
That that was just horrible, you know.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
So let's hit some of these texts tweets to the
show tonight, which for some reason I keep calling tweets. Yeah,
a crazy tanker, Right, how many times has already texted
today about the Dolphins?

Speaker 5 (51:10):
Geez, seventy points?

Speaker 4 (51:12):
Actually you didn't.

Speaker 5 (51:13):
I was kind of surprised by that.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Yeah, you know, it really didn't surprise me at all.

Speaker 5 (51:18):
That's when you knew seventy was coming so well.

Speaker 4 (51:20):
I thought it at least be a fifty burger.

Speaker 3 (51:22):
I didn't think they put up that many points when
you know, when Wata went out, because I'm like, oh
my goodness, now they're gonna double team Tyreek Hill and
they'll be able to slow him down. And you know,
I don't believe in the running game, but I've changed
my mind. I don't even want Jonathan Taylor, you know,
don't even don't even answer the phone.

Speaker 4 (51:38):
Now, I'm good. I'm good with what we got.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
But most went what four touchdowns a Shane four touchdowns?
You told me about him before the season started. I
just kind of shrugged you off about that, like, oh.

Speaker 5 (51:49):
Gay Chris john he's pretty awesome out of Texas. A
and m fast kid.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
Johnny writes, Hey, guys, I was busy at a baby
reveal party.

Speaker 5 (51:56):
Did the Dolphins cover.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
I think so. I think they did.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Victor Wrights. I love how them boys lost today. They're
a fraud. Dolphins are for real, Arnie ye. I think
they're for real. I think you got a really good
football team. But I also in a week to week league,
which appears to be what the NFL has been for
about a decade. Yeah, I still can't figure out how
the Cowboys lost that game.

Speaker 5 (52:18):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
I mean I revel in them losing, like many of
your but it still makes absolutely zero sense.

Speaker 5 (52:24):
You can lose that game.

Speaker 4 (52:25):
That could be a bad loss.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Also, I mean, you win that, you're right up there
with Philadelphia undefeated, You're still looking good.

Speaker 4 (52:31):
Now you come back to earth a little bit.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
Not that was a horrible loss when you're a twelve
and a half point favorite, absolutely miserable. By the way,
who is your number one team in the NFL, the Jeeves,
That's yeah, number one.

Speaker 5 (52:43):
I just I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
I can't allow myself to take them off that pedestal,
even with their loss and the Lions and boy the
Bears are awful, Arnie. See part of it is, I think,
if I, power rankings are stupid unless it's Vegas. I
think Vegas power rankings matter because Vegas, it's not about
who's the best team, It's about who's covering. And that's
so power rankings. If you're in the gambling and that's
how you live, fine, good do it.

Speaker 5 (53:05):
That's great. Power rankings. The NFL are dumb.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
We have these things called standings and they kind of
help you figure out power rankings.

Speaker 5 (53:12):
But I would I would have a one A. The
Dolphins would be the one A. That's it.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
I mean that would it would be Chiefs because they're
defending champ and even though they lost to the Lions,
I think they're starting to come around. They're two and one,
Dolphins are three and on. They just put seventy on
the board against the Broncos team that everyone tells me
he's supposed to be pretty good.

Speaker 4 (53:29):
Yeah, I would have I may not be your pick,
Yeah I have.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
I have the Dolphins number one, and then really everybody
else kind of falls behind that.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Right exactly, San Francisco number two the NFL overall, I
was just thinking AFC France look good this year.

Speaker 4 (53:47):
Yeah, yeah, so Sam Fred number two. And then maybe.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
I would put Kansas City ahead of Philadelphia. I still
have doubts about Philadelphia.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
You know.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
One thing, I'm watching these Chiefs highlights right now circling
back to Kansas City, and how I you know, I
still there's still my pick in the AFC. The thing
that stands out though, and watching these highlights, is justin
Fields not? Is it just not gonna happen? Is it
not gonna happen for him?

Speaker 5 (54:13):
Is he? And I like the NFL quarterback we thought
he should.

Speaker 3 (54:16):
Be am I the only quarterback that still likes him.
He does so many, so much exciting stuff on the field.

Speaker 4 (54:25):
When you have that type.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Of explosive, this look, we've we've seen players take Zach Wilson.
Not to pick on him, but take Zach Wilson. The
guy gives me nothing. He's not gonna give you the
explosive of this as you're gonna see from fields. He's
not gonna go ahead and give you the big play.
Maybe once in a while, but not like Fields can
give you a big play. I gotta think that just

(54:46):
this is just a bad fit for him, and he'd
be a better quarterback somewhere else.

Speaker 4 (54:51):
I just don't. I just don't think it's gonna happen
for him here.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
You know the Bears, the Bears attempt at a rebuild
has been a disaster, I mean absolute disaster, all right.
When we come back to the Dirac dot com studios,

(55:37):
back on with us. Oh yes, it's Arnie Spaniel on
Chris Blank. You love Matt's coverage on Twitter at Matt
Verterram and now of course part of the Sports Illustrated family.
Matt I had to laugh as we bring you on.
There was this a Twitter feed. I'm gonna say it
very slowly, Buck Buffalo and he says his family does
a tequila shot for every Dolphins touchdown. Today's historic win

(55:59):
has this rethinking knee tradition. Ten tequila shots would really
be something. But holy smokes, I don't think anyone could
have imagined it getting that away from Denver today.

Speaker 5 (56:10):
What in the world happened?

Speaker 1 (56:12):
It's funny. Actually, I literally just watched that game right
before we got on the phone. Listen. That was a
combination of Miami had incredible play calling and had the
fastest offense in the league, and Denver looked like they
all took a tranquilizer for that.

Speaker 4 (56:29):
Think.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
I mean that was how many times was a ball
carrier for Miami was the only guy in the screen.
I mean, there was nobody on some of those plays
like it was in twenty twenty five yards and anybody.
So look, you when you hit a seventy job in
a game, it's a combination of you did everything right
cus the Dolphins and the Broncos. I don't know where

(56:53):
you go from that. I don't know how you recover.
I don't know how you have confidence in your defense.
I had confidence in the coach that is.

Speaker 3 (57:03):
That's a rough one, you know, especially it's so surprising,
as I said, because Wadad didn't play. You figured they
would have double team Tyreek Hill, and you know, maybe.

Speaker 4 (57:12):
It was gonna be a different story.

Speaker 3 (57:13):
I'm I'm not saying they put a seventy on, but
you know, maybe they have the Dolphins in the thirties
because they could do a better job. The pensilvy weren't
even closed. Dolphins put up points in every quarter.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
You know, I think with teams are going to have
to start to realize Miami, and it's stuff that people
realize with Kansas City over the years, and you know,
with other great offenses in recent times, if you wanted
to sit in this soft zone, you're dead. They're not
going to stop these names. Is this not like I
think there's this natural inclination to go, well, you can't
put a man on man cover with Tyreek killing. Yeah right,

(57:47):
you can't, but you've got to be willing I think
to place a man underneath, put two safeties over the top,
and just say, look, if we get beat on a
bunch of short stuff underneath, we're gonna have that have
the safeties come up and tackle and make plays. I'm
not saying it's going to stop a team like Miami,
because Miami I don't think is gonna be stopped. They're
gonna score a ton of points and you're gonna have
to kind of win on third down and win in
the red zone. And that's what you do against for

(58:09):
a good offense is in today's game. But I think
you know you watch that Denver game. I mean, the
space on the field is just nuts. You're nuts. You
can't play zone defenses against teams like that. Ito was
too accurate and McDaniel's too smart. You've gotta be willing
to say, you know what, we're gonna play, sir tan

(58:29):
on hill one on one and it hill goes for
two hundred yards, well then you know what we're gonna lose.
But to just sitting zone and get torched all games,
I just I don't know how you could come to
the conclusion that that's the right way to play.

Speaker 5 (58:44):
Agreed, Agreed.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
What was the most was the Cowboys implos, you're the
most surprising thing to you today seeing them lose to Arizona.

Speaker 4 (58:52):
Matt, Yeah, I say.

Speaker 1 (58:54):
It's the most surprising result. I mean, the Dolphins scoring
seventy I think had to be up there, considering this
now three times AFL history. But the result. Yeah, Look,
that game wasn't even that close. But the Cardinals, they
were ked the whole game. They put it on them,
They put it on pretty good. Dobbs has been good
for them. And I'll be the first one throwing my
hand up in the air and say I was wrong.

(59:15):
I mean, Jonathan Gattt, I thought it was gonna be
an abjects ask for them, and they're one and two.
But they've been in these games. I mean, they're a
playaway here or there for me in three and zero
right now, you know, you give them credit a lot
of buy in. Buddha Baker's on IR obviously, Cayler Murray
on IR. And yet here they are playing hard, playing

(59:35):
better than a lot of teams NFL are right now.
The Cowboys, look all that being said, you can't lose
that game. I mean, that's the kind of stuff the
people look at the Cowboys and go, yep, they're still
the same Cowboys. That kind of a loss. You know,
it's just it's a it's a game that when the

(59:56):
NFC East is all said and done, if they lose
that division by a came you go, yeah, that's why
right there.

Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
You know, Matt The's coaches are supposed to be the
brightest minds in the game, I mean, the top thirty
two minds or whatever it.

Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Is in all of football.

Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Yeah, we get, we get the Raiders down by eight,
they kicking the field goal to make it five. We get,
we get the Chargers up up by fourth going forward
on fourth out in their own territory with about two
and a half minutes leth of the game. Some of
the decision making you got to be scratching your head.
I can't understand how they come to this conclusion.

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
You know, it's amazing the guys spend that much time
around the game and think that that's the right decision
to make. The Stanley thing, I know, I'm sure analytics
people would say always the right to said no.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
It's not, no, it's not, but.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Any objective measure, no it's not. They're so lucky that
they won that game. I mean, you know, Cousins, instead
of spiking the ball at and talk about something, they
do his bonehead. I mean, he's got twenty seconds and
instead of spiking it to like semi huddling and then
he throws a ball laid over the middle and gets
tipped up and picked off at bell sally out. The

(01:01:09):
McDaniels thing was one of the more bizarre decisions I
can remember. Like, you're gonna kick a field goal to
get through within five the Steelers, for reasons I'll never understand,
there trying to block the kick and get for a
personal foul and then the Raiders did it again a

(01:01:29):
minute later. I mean, it's just they deserve to lose
for that decision alone. They deserve to lose. Look, the
Raiders don't have a margin prayer. You can't have mistakes
like that by your coach. And you know that, among
other things, Jimmy g three picked night cost of a game.

Speaker 2 (01:01:44):
Could not agree with you more. Matt Matt Verder am
our guest. Okay, so was today a tipping point you
think for the Jets?

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:01:51):
I don't know how active.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
I know we've got a few weeks before the trade deadline,
but you see several teams going in different directions.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
Could today be a tipping point.

Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
Where the Jets say, all right, we got our defense,
We've got to fix this quarterback position. Could we see
them get active and try to make a move or
is it is the hay out of the bar and
is it too late to do anything like that?

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
I mean they might. I just don't know what are
they going to do? Who are they going to get?
You know, I keep hearing the scene. Who are they getting?
I mean, I know people say Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz
has been on three teams in three years and nobody
wants and there's a reason. There's multiple reasons. Frankly, like
I from just knowing what you know about Carson Wentz,

(01:02:35):
him in New York seems like the worst idea in
the world. But is he more talented than Wilson?

Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
He is. Do they just want to go get him?
It doesn't seem like it. And look, they have a
GM in Joe Douglass who spend time in Philly, who
knows Carson Wentz, So you would think that would play
a role in this.

Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
Now, what about the Cousins rumor what about that one?

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
I mean, what pick are they giving up? Don't have
their seconds? Are they gonna give up a first round
pick for a season of Cousins? Because if I'm Minnesota,
I'd be like, well, if we lose them at the
end of the year, we're getting the comp pick a
third round pick, So like, I want them to give
me a first and if I'm the chesster's the way

(01:03:18):
I'm doing that. So it's just I mean, again, it's
just a tough spot. Yeah, look, and they can get
Cousins by all means, sure, but I short of something
like that, you're going to Tim Boyle, you're gonna go
sign Matt Ryan, Like, I just think I think they're
done no matter what. They just don't have the quarterback.
With Rogers being.

Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Hurt, what's gonna happen with the uh with Fields and
the Bears when it's all said and done, that was
ugly today.

Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
There's no way around it. I mean before before the
Chiefs ancor starters late in the game, Fields it from
forty two yards in a pick. I mean Gabren playing
Gavin almost have had more passing yards at that point
in the game than Fields did. Wow, It's look, there's
no way around it. The Bears right now are a catastrophe,
and Matt Everflus is fighting for his job. I mean

(01:04:07):
they are, you know, frankly, guys, to be honest with you,
they go home now. They host Denver next Sunday. That
game is a game where whoever loses that thing, you're
pretty much shattered for the year. I think I don't
think there's a whole lot of coming back from that now.
Obviously Peyton's not going anywhere, But like eva Flus, that's

(01:04:28):
kind of a last dance situation. You've got to win
that game. You have to I don't care how you
do it. What it looks like. You've got to find
a way. Field is just right now, it looks completely lost.
I put some of that on him, some of that
on the coaches, but the Bears. If you said who's
the worst team in football, it's Chicago right now. I
don't know if there's really an argument.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
I know we've kept you a long, Matt, but I
want to circle back, just because I'm about to lose
my mind.

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
My hair is getting grayer. In the end, was it
all Brady?

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
I mean, does Josh mc daniels have any redeeming quality
as a head coach? I mean, I see design plays
where guys are open, but I can't.

Speaker 4 (01:05:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:05:07):
Was it all Brady?

Speaker 4 (01:05:08):
In the end?

Speaker 5 (01:05:09):
Is that one made McDaniels great in such a hot commodity?

Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
I mean, I don't want to tell you not to
read my column's Sports Illustrated, but I probably wouldn't read
my column it's Sports Illustrated. Fires you about Jossehon Daniels.
I think, Look, he's kind of to me like the
Raiders version of Adam Gasee, where Adam Gasee stood next
to Peyton Manning for a while, and teams are like,
you know who's great, Adam Gage, and then Peyton Manning

(01:05:36):
wasn't there, and Adam Gate wasn't that good. Yeah, And
I think that's kind of where we're at with McDaniel. Like,
if you look at McDaniels, everywhere he's been, the Rams,
the Broncos, the Raiders, everywhere he has been that does
not include Tom Brady, he has been atrocious. I just
I don't think that's all of a sudden going to
magically change, much to your chagrin, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, just fine, And let's go. Let's
move on a eight. It's great to catch up with you, man.
Keep crutching it, Matt. We know you're Busy's all get
out and hopefully get a chance to catch up with
you again soon.

Speaker 4 (01:06:08):
Man, keep up with the great work.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Hey time, Gosh, take care.

Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
Nice at BERDM find them over at shig dot com.

Speaker 4 (01:06:16):
It's not very.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Reassuring, but I'm not a believer in Josh McDaniels anyway.

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
I think I was on the McDaniels train.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
For like five weeks last year, right exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
I don't think this is gonna work, but you know
what does work Steve de Sager and our updates, and
he's gonna get us caught up on everything going on
in the world of sports.

Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
What's up, Steve.

Speaker 9 (01:06:36):
About Everflu's and McDaniels.

Speaker 8 (01:06:38):
By the way, AP put out a list of coaches
that have lost thirteen straight or more with their team
over the last twenty seasons. It's a surprisingly long list.
Not just Matt Everflu's Chicago, which is thirteenth straight now
going back to last year, Chip Kelly with San Francisco,
it says, thirteenth straight in twenty sixteen. Hugh Jackson isn't
even number one on the list from the Browns. Detroit's

(01:07:01):
Rod Marinelli about fifteen years, about Spurrier nineteen in the
last twenty seasons.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
Okay, I mean, I know Washington.

Speaker 8 (01:07:08):
Wasn't great, but still so, We've got a Bears Broncos
matchup next weekend, gentlemen, get your tickets now. Statsink says
it's going to be the first matchup in the history
of the NFL between two teams who just combined to
allow over one hundred and ten points at eleven.

Speaker 9 (01:07:23):
Hundred yards the previous week.

Speaker 8 (01:07:25):
Well, let's get to the Pittsburgh win at Las Vegas
tonight twenty three eighteen. I want to pass along this
stat It's something I brought up about the touchbacks, and
I realized that's really what the league wants, and there
have been rule adjustments, but without much comment. In the
game in Vegas tonight, there were ten kickoffs and ten touchbacks.
At Kansas City today, ten kickoffs and ten touchbacks. Arizona

(01:07:48):
it was eleven kickoffs and ten touchbacks. Chargers game at
Minnesota ten kickoffs, ten touch backs. Noticing a theme here, yes, absolutely,
of course, Dolphins game there were sixteen kickoffs, but that
was for a completely different reason. Pittsburgh won against the
Raiders tonight, twenty three eighteen. Can he pick at two
touchdown passes? Chris Boswell three for three on field goals

(01:08:11):
and what wound up a close game? He hit from
forty three, from forty two, and from fifty seven yards tonight.
So ap prints a list of worst winning percentages in
your stadium all time if you played at least twenty
five home games at your stadium since the mergers are
going back fifty plus years. The worst the Browns at
their current stadium, about forty percent wins Raiders at Raiders

(01:08:33):
at their Las Vegas stadium only forty two percent.

Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
Victary Chris, Bravo, great, bravo, good time.

Speaker 8 (01:08:39):
As for Josh McDaniel, let's not forget he started out
six to zero as a head coach in this league.

Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
With him, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
With the Denver Broncos beat Bill BELICHACKI was plump fist
like crazy.

Speaker 8 (01:08:50):
And since then twelve and thirty that's su Just for
the record, Arizona upset Dallas twenty eight to sixteen Cowboys
with thirteen penalties for a hundred and seven yards. Seattle
thirty seven to twenty seven over Carolina, which is now
oh to three.

Speaker 9 (01:09:05):
Bears are oh and three.

Speaker 8 (01:09:06):
They were down forty one to nothing at Kansas City
in the third quarter forty one ten the final Patrick
Mahomes three short touchdown passes. The ankle is said to
be okay as he was rolled up on. We had
Miami three and oh now whipping Denvers seventy to twenty
the Broncos and three. Statsink says the Dolphins are the
first team in the NFL since the nineteen fifties to

(01:09:27):
score at least fourteen points in every quarter of a
game first time since the Detroit Lions were champions in
the nineteen fifty seven title game. Apparently they did that,
so yeah, it's been a while. And you had the
rookie devon a chain with eighteen carries two hundred three yards.
He had four total touchdowns. Yep, Raheem Mosterd had four touchdowns.

(01:09:52):
So those two the second pair of teammates in league
history to get four each in the same game. Apparently
about twenty years ago the Chiefs had Priest Home and
Derek Blaylock each score four.

Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
Two should have just dont for like twelve touchdowns.

Speaker 8 (01:10:05):
Today it was a mere four td passes here and
with as you mentioned early in the show, with Jayalen
Wattle not playing due to the concussion, Green Bay came
back and beat New Orleans eighteen seventeen Saints quarterback Derek
Carr injured his right shoulder on a sack. Chargers held
on to win twenty eight to twenty four at Minnesota,
which is oh N three. Justin Jefferson did have seven catches,

(01:10:28):
but not one hundred and fifty yards, no, sir, not
against the Charger defense. It was a mere one forty
nine at a touchdown La had twelve penalties, kept handing
Minnesota first downs and Vikings wouldn't take the game.

Speaker 9 (01:10:40):
What can you say?

Speaker 8 (01:10:41):
Linebacker Kenneth Murray with a late tackle that was key
and end zone interception at the end as well in overtime.
Colts won at Baltimore twenty two to nineteen. Victories for
Houston and Cleveland for Detroit and New England. Buffalo wins
at Washington thirty seven to three. Josh Allen touchdown, pass,
touch down, run, one interception. James Cook on fifteen carries,

(01:11:03):
had ninety eight yards rushing. Next Sunday, Bill's host the
Dolphins Washington.

Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
Six hours by the way to my door to Buffalo
to go see that game.

Speaker 8 (01:11:12):
And you'll be out there in the parking lot jumping
on tables.

Speaker 4 (01:11:15):
Wow, No, I'm not gonna go. Oh two, busy, come on,
not cold enough for you, busy.

Speaker 9 (01:11:20):
Oh you're either in the sea.

Speaker 3 (01:11:22):
Gotta work, Yeah, I gotta wait till there's like a
lot of snow and stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (01:11:26):
The Dolphins had over seven hundred yards of offense today
that had literally opened only happened one time in the
league's history.

Speaker 9 (01:11:33):
Nineteen fifty one.

Speaker 8 (01:11:35):
Rams apparently had a game like that, So it's just
crazy how much oh they had. Meanwhile, Buffalo not too
bad themselves that thirty seven to three victory, nine sacks
against Sam Hall, and they picked him off four times.

Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
The late night game.

Speaker 8 (01:11:51):
In Major League Baseball at Dodger State, he went to
LA over San Francisco in ten innings, three to two.
One week left in the regular season, Phillies won their
fifth straight at Alanna, split a doubleheader at Washington. Braves
are the first team to win one hundred this year
home wins for the Cubs, Miami and Cincinnati. The Cubs
lead for the final and OL wildcard spot, still a
game over Miami, two and a half games up on

(01:12:13):
the Reds.

Speaker 5 (01:12:13):
Back to you and thanks Steve.

next week against Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
No, I really feel like going to the game because
a six hour drive is not that bad that bad. No,
it's a pretty much straight shot. I'm sure I can
get a ticket. Do I really want to go watch
the game with a bunch of Buffalo bill fans? Not?
You know that that takeaway from the experience. They really
want to be among the Dolphins fans out there, though
Miami does travel well. It will be a probably a

(01:13:08):
good group of Dolphins. We'll give them the beatdown that
they deserve. It should should be an easy win. We
should we should win. Buy about ten points?

Speaker 5 (01:13:15):
Are you gonna be okay when they lose?

Speaker 3 (01:13:17):
They're not losing a matter of fact, we're another dog
in that game.

Speaker 5 (01:13:21):

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Well, I mean the season is not over yet.

Speaker 4 (01:14:07):
Up pretty much?

Speaker 5 (01:14:09):
You big on giving away MVP awards after three weeks?

Speaker 4 (01:14:12):
Well after the show is tonight, and if we're.

Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Again, the show even tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
But there is logic that has to come into the
show being tonight as well.

Speaker 5 (01:14:23):
Sean.

Speaker 2 (01:14:23):
You know we I think the best thing about this
show is we have such a diverse fan base, all.

Speaker 4 (01:14:27):
Right, we do that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
Fans of the Vikings, Allions and of course my man
Sean fighting for the Titans rights. Why haven't my Titans
listen to my takes on this show? They should have
started taking two years ago. We might actually be somewhere
by now. I've had enough of this Titans football. Let's
go out and sign over the Hill used to be
good wide receivers, and let's just.

Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
Be good enough to screw up the draft. Well, that's
what they've done, exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
That's the game plan right there.

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
I'm sorry, Sean, and then Colin points out, don't forget
the twenty twenty four dumps fire Bowl next week, Broncos
at Bears, get your popcorn ready.

Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
Yeah, Bears will get the number one pick in the draft.
Now they have Carolina's pick, and they have their own
pick too, right, correct, correct, Yeah, they're gonna get They'll
have the number one pick in the draft.

Speaker 5 (01:15:15):
And they had it last year too, so they'll be
in good shape. All right.

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
When we come back to Saga has got all the
updates we need, including the historical perspective of seventy points.

(01:15:41):
Discover dot Com slash Match. What's going on Steve de Sager, Well,
a little.

Speaker 8 (01:15:45):
Historic for the Miami Dolphins at this point of the
young season.

Speaker 9 (01:15:49):
Not just three and oh, but you.

Speaker 8 (01:15:51):
Include those seven hundred plus yards. Today they're up to
over sixteen hundred yards in three whole games to their offense.
That breaks the Patriots record for the first three games
of a season, which was set over a decade ago,
and including the seventy to twenty win against winless Denver.
Today Dolphins are up to in three games one hundred

(01:16:13):
and thirty points. The record is still one thirty two
for your first three games, set by the nineteen sixty
eight Dallas Cowboys. I mentioned briefly earlier in the show.
Matt Gay was the hero for the Indianapolis Colts and
overtime win at Baltimore twenty two to nineteen. He had
the game winning fifty three yard field goal, but that
wasn't all. He had four fifty yard field goals in

(01:16:37):
the same game, first time in NFL history. Congratulations he
hit in the fourth quarter. He hit a couple of
fifty three yarders. Quarterback Lamar Jackson of Baltimore fourteen carries
at one hundred one yards rushing two touchdowns, but also
won fumble, sacked four times, and running back Gus Edwards
was evaluated for a concussion. The Ravens were already missing

(01:16:59):
seven starters, including wide receiver Odell Beckham with his ankle injury,
but rookie quarterback for the Colts, Anthony Richardson was out
today with a concussion. They still won on the road
in ot Gardner Minshew was sacked five times. They gave
the ball to Zach Moss thirty times, thirty carries, one
hundred and twenty two yards one TD reception.

Speaker 9 (01:17:18):
They get the victory.

Speaker 8 (01:17:20):
The Green Bay Packers one of the rare teams to
be down seventeen to nothing going to the fourth and
still come back and win. In fact, not just the margin,
to be shut out through three quarters and still come
back to win. Eighteen seventeen was the final. They got
the eighteen points in the fourth quarter after Saints QB
Derek Carr heard his right shoulder on a sack. Rashaun

(01:17:41):
Gary of Green Bay had three sacks in this game.
And kudos to the Packers because out again, we're running
back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson. At linebacker
DeAndre Campbell left with an ankle injury for the Saints.
Rookie kicker from Notre Dame Blake Groupie. You know Notre
Dame's had a great weekend. Missed forty six yard field
goal attempt with just over a minute left and the

(01:18:02):
Saints lost by one on the road. Well as for
other notes, Patrick Mahomes is still good. He's up to
twenty five thousand career passing yards, already breaking Matthew Stafford's record.
It is quite kick quick and by the way, he
said to be okay even though his ankle got rolled
up on forty one ten the final over the Chicago Bears.

(01:18:25):
But still people will be talking years from now about
what happened in Miami with a seventy to twenty final.
Turns out, the Dolphins had the longest active streak of
not having a player rush for three touchdowns in a game.
Oh real, So Raheem Moster did that three on the
ground today. The Dolphins had gone two hundred and twenty
four straight games, including postseason, without such a performance until yeah,

(01:18:52):
he was like, what thousand yard rusher back with the
about the only one with Marina there. Pittsburgh won at
Vegas twenty three to eighteen. So Kenny Pickett gets a
win in a road start against the Raiders. Ben Roethlisberger
had been zero to four on the road against the Raiders,
just for the record. So for a QB to get
a road win against the Raiders, whatever city they're in,

(01:19:13):
you'd have to go back to the mid nineties and
Neil O'Donnell. But here the Raiders are three games into
the season and still don't have a takeaway. Meanwhile, they
have turned it over seven times thanselves. Soulievable, not verbly good.

Speaker 5 (01:19:28):
They're so bad.

Speaker 8 (01:19:29):
I skipped over one other Kansas city. Note that Andy Reid.
This was career victory number two seventy one. He passes
Tom Landry on the top five list. Now he's nowhere
close to the top three. That's Don Shula, George Hallis,
Bill Belichick who has three point thirty. This was number
two seventy one in Reid's career. And they put up
a stat on the Chargers game with Justin Herbert talk

(01:19:50):
about starting your career. Well, he's already up to fifteen
thousand career passing yards and this is in fifty two
career games. He got his one hundredth touch down pass
today and Patrick Mahomes it only took him forty games
to get one hundred touchdown passes, but still he's top
five ever on the list. Granted, the caveat is there's
a whole lot more passing in the NFL these days.

(01:20:13):
Notable there was a touchdown pass from Keenan Allen in
this close win at Minnesota. It went to Mike Williams,
who was later hurt the knee injury. We'll get an
MRI tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (01:20:23):
Good stuff. Steve unfortunate notes on the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Gosh, all right, when we come back after a week three,
we know this, what have we learned in the National
Football League? And hey, get throw a little college in there.
After week four, we know this wild weekend in college football.

Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
I'm very stressed.

Speaker 3 (01:21:32):
It's the stress level is going up now because I
a lot of things are you know, starting to I
have to start to work on. Like what about me
going to the Super Bowl? Am I gonna have to
work that day with you? We've worked what like six
straight years, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
Doing super Bowl coverage? Six has it? Whatever? I may
have to go to the Super Bowl this year, you
know what I mean? I can't.

Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
I can't pass on this. I know it's gonna I
know we'll be there a lot more. I know that's
what you're gonna say. That will probably be there like,
you know, like three four more times the next five, six,
seven years. But the first one's always special, So I'd
like to be at that one, you know that?

Speaker 4 (01:22:06):
Chris?

Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Do you realize how many Super Bowl shows we've actually
done in a row?

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
No, I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:22:16):
This would be our eighth.

Speaker 4 (01:22:17):
Oh, get out of here.

Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
Actually it would be our ninth. Wow, we did it.

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
Was the first Super Bowl we did was sixteen, whenever
Von Miller won the MVP. So we've done sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen,
two twenty.

Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
You've done eight in a row.

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
But if you have to go, Arnie, I'm sure we
could have you call in. I mean, it would be
great if you're there, But I mean again, you were
three and oh and making these plans last year too.

Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
Just well, but you aren't coming off.

Speaker 5 (01:22:47):
You're scoring seventy points.

Speaker 3 (01:22:49):
And I am freaking out about one thing because I'm
going to go to Costa Rica and I'm gonna miss
a Sunday and I'm freaking out how I'm gonna be
able to watch the NFL games.

Speaker 4 (01:23:00):
So I figured out, I'm going to record the.

Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
Red Zone channel and then when I get to Costa Rica,
I'm gonna watch it on my phone.

Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Can you do that? Yeah? Why couldn't you do that?

Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
You can record the Red Zone channel and then watch
it back on your phone.

Speaker 4 (01:23:15):
Yeah, you could record anything on your from your from
your house.

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
I didn't know you could get your DVR on your
phone though. Is this new technology that I'm oh, no, you.

Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
Can record anything that didn't watch it on your phone.

Speaker 3 (01:23:27):
It says like when I tape Judge Judy, I can
watch it back on my phone.

Speaker 2 (01:23:31):
Hey man, that's a You've got a level that I
don't have with my sweet Direct TV package that I'm
stuck with because I wanted the red Zart, because I
wanted the Sunday ticket and now, I mean, I've got
to get YouTube TV and eight other I've got to
have YouTube TV on you. I've got to have Prime Video.
I've got to have all this stuff. I just can't
do it. I've got to have a ESPN Plus to
watch all my college games, and I gotta have Paramount Plus.

(01:23:52):
It's never ending. I thought this was supposed to be
cheaper America. What are we even doing right now? But
if you can do that, then it's like you're not
even missing out. What if it's the one week that
you don't do the show and it's the one week
they lose.

Speaker 3 (01:24:06):
Well, you know what the funny part is that Dolphins
play Monday night that that weekend too, So I should
be able to get the game in Costa Rica?

Speaker 4 (01:24:14):
Should I not?

Speaker 8 (01:24:15):
Or sure?

Speaker 4 (01:24:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
I mean It's not like like you're going to a
place where TVs don't exist. Now I'm not really sure
about that the WiFi or where you're staying, but.

Speaker 5 (01:24:24):
Look at you.

Speaker 3 (01:24:24):
I'm taking some swanky resort. The only reason I'm going
is because it's free. If I if I had to
pay for this, I'd never be taking my wife to something.

Speaker 5 (01:24:32):
Right, Why would you spend money on?

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
You know, it's expensive? Oh, this is like a real,
real expensive place.

Speaker 3 (01:24:41):
I you know, it's one quick question, not that I
want to get into this, but it says there will
be no tipping, and tipping's already included.

Speaker 4 (01:24:51):
Do you still have to tip? Even though it says
no tipping.

Speaker 2 (01:24:54):
Every situation I've ever been in where a tip is
added or it says no tipping, you still tip. Feel
like I'm being guilt tripped if I.

Speaker 4 (01:25:01):
Don't exactly exactly.

Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
It's just me Cyrol.

Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
Yeah, well, Arnie, let's get to what really matters as
we come to you live from the Tirack dot Com studio.
So I mentioned that I think I have after week three,
I know this. What have we learned through three weeks
of the National Football League season?

Speaker 5 (01:25:20):
You get one? I get one?

Speaker 2 (01:25:22):
Will dive into the tweets and circle back around snake
draft style.

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Well, I pretty much knew that. I'll just start real simple.
I mean I knew this before the season started, but
now that three weeks are in the books, I know
this one hundred Miami Dolphins are the best team in
the NFL. They the thirty to one was absolutely laughable
that they were thirty to one to go and win

(01:25:48):
a Super Bowl. They should have been one of the
favorites out there. They're better than any other team right
now in the NFL. They have the best offense in
the NFL. Defense isn't too shabby either, especially when they
get healthy. I can't wait to see if they get
what's his face? Uh, Jalen back? Yeah, Jalen wad Yeah,

(01:26:10):
no waddle. We'll see if we get him back in
a couple of weeks too. So and Jalen Ramsey Ramsey
right as to who I meant so? After that, though,
is no doubt that the Dobbins are the most complete
team in the NFL right now and the best team
in the NFL. No doubt about that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:25):
All right, And if you've missed any of the show tonight,
there were two hours and about.

Speaker 5 (01:26:30):
Six minutes wrapped up for you.

Speaker 4 (01:26:32):
If you missed any of.

Speaker 5 (01:26:33):
It, there's the whole show after three weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:26:36):
I know this, and it might not be the most
popular take, but it's still a week to week league.
Explain to me how Indye beats Baltimore when the Ravens
have been two and oh this year. Explain to me
how you could have such a dominating performance in the
first two weeks of the season and then the Cardinals.
The Cowboys just lay that egg against the Cardinals have

(01:26:57):
so many the Texans. Explain to me how this used
to Texan team can be. I don't want to say
is bad, right, but they got blown out a couple
of weeks, and they go out and they go to Jacksonville,
a team whom I was to have at least been
told by listening to one stinking genius had already won
their division before the season started. Houston goes to Jacksonville

(01:27:18):
and beats them by three scores.

Speaker 4 (01:27:20):
Unbelievable. Unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
Help it make sense to me how a.

Speaker 2 (01:27:25):
I guess maybe the kindest way to put this was
a Raiders team who was supposed to be better now
because they got a quarterback who's familiar with Josh McDaniel's system.

Speaker 5 (01:27:34):
And they still stink.

Speaker 2 (01:27:35):
But two weeks ago they're able to win a game
on the road in pretty impressive style. Arnie, the NFL,
I don't know how professional gamblers do it. I don't
know how coaches do it. But things just don't make sense.
I mean outside of I guess your Dolphins because you
told us they're three zero and.

Speaker 4 (01:27:50):
They're right example, right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
That makes sense until they lose next week. But to me,
like week in and week out, I don't know what
to make of this league right now.

Speaker 5 (01:27:59):
It is awesomely unpredictable.

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
It is, And you know, especially when you mentioned that
the Cowboys loses a twelve and a half points favorite.
That really is headed scratcher there. What I've worn't after
week number three is and I kind of knew this,
and I know they won today, but they's still a
six win team. They're just not good. They have nobody
that scares me. That's the New England Patriots. Matter of fact,

(01:28:23):
they're lucky they won, otherwise they would have already clinched
last place in that division. Jets aren't going anywhere anyway,
but the Patriots have you ever seen them just look
so pedestrian before in your entire life, Chris, I mean, boy,
life after Tom Brady's sure has been miserable for Bill Belichick.
I'm wondering if it is not gonna be Belichick's close

(01:28:44):
to his last year. But Mac Jones, he's not getting
it done. Two million yards passing. This guy's never gonna
go ahead and take him far if they reach a playoff.

Speaker 4 (01:28:54):
It's just horrible. It's just not gonna work out.

Speaker 5 (01:28:57):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:58):
I think their defense is really good, and I think
that's going to keep him in a lot of games
this year.

Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
Same with the Jets. I think the Jets have a
really good They.

Speaker 3 (01:29:07):
Do have a good defense. But look at look what
they did offensively today.

Speaker 5 (01:29:10):
But what we saw today, Now let's remember though this.

Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
Did you see the fans by the way in the
stands they were showing close up, So those guys just
getting like really upset.

Speaker 4 (01:29:19):
And stuff like that. Dude had his teeth, Yes, yes,
he was so mad.

Speaker 2 (01:29:23):
Yes, now you do remember this was a a Patriots
team that had you scared down to the final seconds
last Sunday night that you might be going overtime today. Yes,
I know that everything has been wiped clean because the
shows tonight, But that was a one score game with
New England driving to potentially win the Force overtime. I

(01:29:45):
don't think they would have gone for two whenever they
what was it it was?

Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
Was it an interception?

Speaker 4 (01:29:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:29:53):
No, no, no, the call was reversed on the lateral
or or they would have had the red zone.

Speaker 5 (01:30:00):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:30:01):
So that's because that was the Patriots Super Bowl game
right there.

Speaker 2 (01:30:04):
It's shoes that matter to him more than anything else. Yeah, exactly,
I'll add one more, one more after week three, I
know this, even without most of their guys and a
lot of star players, Packers still found a way to
win a game that they really had no business winning
and zero Maybe maybe should have still lost because of

(01:30:26):
that misfield goal at the end. But give me all
the Jordan love stock after week three.

Speaker 4 (01:30:32):
I know this.

Speaker 5 (01:30:32):
I think the dude's gonna be okay.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
I know there hasn't been jaw dropping numbers so far,
but he's got the job done.

Speaker 4 (01:30:40):
He was.

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
Yeah, he hasn't been over sixty percent completion percentage this year,
which does concern me a little bit, but he's smart
with the football. Seven touchdowns, only one interception. He's only
been sacked three.

Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
Times this year.

Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
I'm not ready to say it's that next Aaron Rodgers,
but the Packers can win with Jordan Love at quarterback
and he doesn't have to be a superstar.

Speaker 5 (01:31:03):
Kind of feel the same way with what CJ. Stroud
is doing.

Speaker 4 (01:31:06):
You you were.

Speaker 2 (01:31:07):
Ready to cut c J. Strouss I was season performance,
but you weren't alone. Everyone was. We were also ready
to give Kenny pick at the MVP based on his
preseason performance. But what we're seeing now is CJ. Stroud
is a dude that can go out and win football games.
And speaking of quarterbacks, how does Geno Smith keep doing it?

Speaker 4 (01:31:27):
I don't know that. I don't have an answer.

Speaker 2 (01:31:29):
Yeah, how the Seahawks one today thirty seven to twenty
seven over the Panthers. Now, it wasn't the prettiest game
maybe that you've ever seen, even though there were what
a combined sixty four point score, But Gino Smith just
keeps making plays. And I'm looking around the league and
that's the one. I mean almost three it for three
hundred yards today. It's one of those guys that kind

(01:31:52):
of buys into your theory already. Hey, you don't necessarily
need a rock star quarterback to win games. But I
think you're getting a few rock stars developing in Jordan
Love and CJ.

Speaker 5 (01:32:01):
Stroud.

Speaker 4 (01:32:02):
You're right about that.

Speaker 3 (01:32:03):
I mean, CJ looking a lot better than he did
some of those horrible preseason games out there. I do
have to say this, maybe it's time. If I'm in Minnesota,
I gotta say goodbye to Cousins.

Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
Enough is enough. I know they have some easy.

Speaker 3 (01:32:18):
Games coming up with the Panthers, the Bears, you know,
the Falcons, but that's it, man, you're zeroing three.

Speaker 4 (01:32:26):
I gotta wave the white flag. I gotta.

Speaker 3 (01:32:29):
I gotta just say, I gotta, you know, go all
tank in for one of the quarterbacks and hopefully I
get the number one pick. I'm fed up with this
old Cousins thing. That guy's cursed. I don't know what's
up with it, but he's just cursed.

Speaker 2 (01:32:41):
And it's wild because you had thought that they were
slam dunk to win their division, and now you're ready
to get rid of them after three.

Speaker 4 (01:32:48):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (01:32:49):
If you're gonna ask me which last place team can
still win their division.

Speaker 4 (01:32:52):
My answer is gonna be Minnesota. Really yeah, interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:32:56):
I mean, they still have a good team there running
Madison is even though he had an okay at over
one hundred yards today, he was very average. That's why
they made the trade. I still think they could turn
it around. But man, oh I'm three. That's just horrible.

Speaker 2 (01:33:11):
Hey, let me add one more. Then we'll get a
break and we'll get to your tweets on it. Unless
you got more you want to add to it after
week three? I know this again shows tonight, right we
need jerk like crazy? Whatever is that dynamic between Sean
Payton and Russell Wilson. It ain't working, But that ain't it.

(01:33:32):
I don't care who you are. How did how did
Verdam describe it? And it looked like the entire team
had taking a muscle relax or something.

Speaker 5 (01:33:39):
Yeah right, they just it was. It was terrible. I mean,
that was bad.

Speaker 2 (01:33:44):
And people want to get on Sean Payton for getting
testy after the game.

Speaker 5 (01:33:47):
Well good, he should just gave up seventy points.

Speaker 4 (01:33:50):
Of course, yeah he should. He should be testy after that.

Speaker 5 (01:33:53):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
I don't know if there's a magic fix Arnie in
giving Jared Stinham a start now. I don't know if
Denver suddenly becomes one of these teams that's kind of
team tank.

Speaker 5 (01:34:04):
If you will.

Speaker 2 (01:34:04):
I mean we've we've added like twelve teams to the
team tank list. I mean, eventually, someone's got to win
some games. But I mean that's we spent a lot
on the positive side of that game, and we should
you're a Dolphins fan.

Speaker 4 (01:34:17):
But on the.

Speaker 2 (01:34:17):
Negative side, the hell was that? What was that from Denver?
So what I've learned after Week three? I don't think
the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL AFC West,
but I sure as hell know that the Denver Broncos are.
Right now, that's embarrassing and Bronco fans deserve better.

Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
By the way, just a couple of minutes on this,
because I I know it's a little old because it
was on Saturday. But good win by my Wildcats, good
win by your sooners. There By the way that Ohio
State Notre Dame ending great games, it was.

Speaker 4 (01:34:46):
Just something else.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
By the way, Notre Dame's going to lose now back
to back games, but what an ending on that game.
Notre Dame's gonna be kicking themselves after that one. I
can't believe Ohios did actually pulled that one out, Chris.

Speaker 2 (01:34:59):
So you've got Notre Dame losing next week. Yes, you've
got Notre Dame losing to Duke next week. Yes, it's
a damn good pick. What's the lining right now?

Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
A five and a half for Notre Dame Duke is, yeah,
James five and that point favorite.

Speaker 5 (01:35:15):
Notre Dame is a five and a half point favorite
at Duke.

Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
Yes, yes, okay, that's that's fishy some some and every
but see every single time. So that's where I got
a pause. The last time I saw line where I thought,
that's not right. Last time I saw that was Tennessee Florida,
and that doesn't seem right. Tennessee should be a bigger favorite.

(01:35:40):
And then Florida kicked a snot out of him. So
I got to thank on this one for a little bit,
because what do you think?

Speaker 4 (01:35:46):
I'm sorry, I'm gonna say.

Speaker 3 (01:35:47):
What did you think about that Oregon the baco as
they crutched Colorado?

Speaker 4 (01:35:51):
How about that one?

Speaker 7 (01:35:52):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (01:35:52):
I know it's not a popular take, but I mean
I think we all kind of saw it coming at
cover College football, right when when Sanders wasn't talking smack
this week, he kind of realized that he had looked
at the tape and realized, Oh, they got some dudes
and I don't have Travis Hunter and we could be
in trouble. What I didn't expect, Arnie was for everything

(01:36:13):
that Dan Lanning did to take that much of a
personal tone to it.

Speaker 5 (01:36:17):
Every day.

Speaker 4 (01:36:19):
Yeah, everything's personal.

Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
I guess it's recruiting it. That was a recruiting message sitting.
I'll tell you what, Deon Sanders is going to be
Popular're gonna get a lot of good players, great players
to go to Colorado, gonna win a lot of games.
But you could also tell with some of those Oregon
guys it kind of pissed them off too.

Speaker 4 (01:36:36):
Yeah, the second half was only seven to six. I
don't know what happened in.

Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
The second half was a you know, and I know
they took their foot off the gas a little bit,
but he won the running.

Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
Up kind of see Mike, Oregon.

Speaker 2 (01:36:48):
You don't know what happened in the second half. They
showed mercy. They scored one more touch and I was like, Okay,
I think we've proven our port our point here.

Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
I thought he was gonna drop one hundred the way
he was talking to what they do it for quicks,
we do.

Speaker 4 (01:37:01):
It for wins.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
They the timing of that being dropped right after they
were up two touchdowns I found interesting too. Hey, look
here's our video of our pregame conversation when we're up
to scores right now. By the way, you know what
we are counting down to in two weeks potentially as
long as neither Oklahoma or Texas stub their toe this week.

Speaker 4 (01:37:22):
Well, that's right, that's a massive.

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
Red River rivalry game in Dallas and two wow, could
be two, could be two.

Speaker 5 (01:37:30):
Five and zero football team. That would be awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
All right, after three weeks in the NFL season at
the college football if you want to after four weeks

All right, some tweets, some tweets, we get a lot tonight,
we are getting a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:38:25):
You are correct, aren't you? All right?

Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
I like this after three weeks, I know this. I
guess he's saying, after four weeks of the NFL whatever,
Why are you having another week to it?

Speaker 5 (01:38:34):
Roger?

Speaker 2 (01:38:35):
After four weeks of the NFL, I know this. The
Chiefs have the youngest defense in the NFL, and it's
shaping up to be one of the best. Mahomes is
figuring his receivers out. Be afraid, not afraid. When we're
putting up seventy nobody afraids me though. It's gonna be
quite a shootout between the Dolphins and Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
That's gonna be in Germany.

Speaker 3 (01:38:56):
That you was a home game, I believe for Kansas City,
and they moved it to the neutral site games.

Speaker 4 (01:39:01):
So that's gonna be a fun game. I wish I
could go to that one. That's the Germany game, right right, Yeah, Germany?
I go.

Speaker 2 (01:39:07):
After three weeks, mister Maller writes, I know the Mike
McCarthy reign of terror might be done.

Speaker 5 (01:39:14):
After this year. Wow, you lose games.

Speaker 2 (01:39:18):
Like that more often, Mike McCarthy, by the way, Cowboys coach,
You lose games like you did today more often.

Speaker 5 (01:39:24):
Yeah, already you're gonna find yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:39:25):
Well, yes, the job he has to go to the
NFC Championship game, does he not this year? Or what?

Speaker 4 (01:39:29):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (01:39:30):
Yes, no, no question.

Speaker 2 (01:39:32):
You can't have You can't have the kind of buzz
around your team that they have and not end up
at the very least playing for a spot in the
Super Bowl against an NFC that is not necessarily.

Speaker 4 (01:39:46):
Stacked right No, no, no, it's not.

Speaker 2 (01:39:47):
AFC stacked NFC Eagles, You and San Francisco.

Speaker 5 (01:39:53):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:54):
You know, we're looking at five teams fighting for space
with the Kansas City Chiefs right now. In one of those,
of course knocked off with the Jets losing Aaron Rodgers.
But that gets us to sweet lose a tweet, He
writes after three weeks, I know this Zach Wilson is
dangerously close to losing that locker room. You could see
the frustration settling in today on the sidelines and in.

Speaker 5 (01:40:16):
The post game press conference.

Speaker 4 (01:40:18):
Oh he's lost it.

Speaker 3 (01:40:19):
There's no You really think his teammates are going out
there with confidence that he's going to pull it off.
The answer is no, they don't have any confidence in
him whatsoever. They know the defense has got to do
it all.

Speaker 2 (01:40:30):
Chris so Matt Verderram asked it, who do you go get?
Who is that guy? I'm with him like Carson Wentz
doesn't do much for me right, especially since he's never
really been in that system before.

Speaker 4 (01:40:41):
But I mean, do you you.

Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
Don't have a first round pick, but I don't think
you want to risk one at one and two with well,
I mean, I'm sorry you still have your first round pick.
You're gonna lose your second round pick to the Jets.
I don't think you're gonna ar to the Packers. I
don't think you're gonna get a massive upgrade with a
third or fourth round pick right now, are you?

Speaker 4 (01:41:03):
I give the Bears a third round pick for fields.

Speaker 5 (01:41:07):
Okay, what would it take him two weeks to get
up to speed you think.

Speaker 3 (01:41:11):
Yeah, I mean not that it's gonna be that much. Well,
it should maybe provide him a little bit of a boost.
I think the players would like having him out there.
I don't know if Chicago would give him away so cheaply, though, I.

Speaker 5 (01:41:22):
Don't think they would. Russive is the goat rights after
week three. I know this.

Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
Russell Wilson has been mailing it in since last year.
His good guy image is just a career long charade.

Speaker 4 (01:41:40):
He's getting a lot of money though.

Speaker 2 (01:41:41):
You know he is making a lot of money. But
I will add, there's no way they can trot him
back out there next.

Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
Week, is there? And did you see who is your boy?

Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
One of your guys was defending him, saying that it
was ridiculous that he was out there still when they
were down fifty. Why is he fifty? I'm like, well,
it's still out there because it's partially his fault.

Speaker 5 (01:42:07):
They're there.

Speaker 2 (01:42:09):
A couple of other side notes here, griddles MC blackout,
great name rights. People were absolutely banging the Cardinals today.
Went from fourteen to ten and a half to eleven.
Takes a lot to move a number three points.

Speaker 4 (01:42:23):
It does.

Speaker 3 (01:42:23):
I'm surprised about that I would think out of all teams,
the Cardinals would be one of the least amount of
teams that are going to move.

Speaker 4 (01:42:29):
That line that much, you know, at least not think so.

Speaker 3 (01:42:33):
That's fishy, right, Yeah, I mean, I don't know if
I believe that, I'll have to double check that.

Speaker 2 (01:42:39):
I don't think Griddles mc blackout would lie to you, Alreadie.
I don't know why you're sitting here pointing a finger.
But if that is indeed true, there's more to it.
There's something going on there. There would be no reason whatsoever.
Trayvon Diggs was not worth that amount of No, not
at all, No, not at all. The Cowboy have always

(01:43:00):
played well in Arizona.

Speaker 4 (01:43:02):
That's fishy.

Speaker 5 (01:43:03):
Colin Rise.

Speaker 2 (01:43:04):
After Week three, can we say Sean Payton's own three
start is not only far worse than Nathaniel Hackett's two
and one last year, but that the Broncos actually look
worse now? Who can't wait for next week's Bronco Bears match.

Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
They do look worse now.

Speaker 3 (01:43:18):
Whatever to the football genius Sean Payton, No, it's it's
an experiment.

Speaker 4 (01:43:24):
Gonna go south real quick this year, that's for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:43:26):
U ce Le Dodger Frank After three weeks seeing so
many bone headed coaching decisions, Jeff Fisher is at home
thinking to himself, I don't have an NFL coaching job
because why, well, I think, what was the old joke
eight and eight? I don't know why some of these
coaches are overthinking things right right, run the plays at work,

(01:43:49):
make the calls that make sense.

Speaker 5 (01:43:51):
It just it.

Speaker 2 (01:43:52):
I mean, the Chargers nearly cost themselves a game going
for it on fourth and one from their own twenty
four yard line, and if the Vikings weren't absolute morons,
they would have won the game.

Speaker 4 (01:44:02):
But Chris, at least if they picked that up, they
win the game.

Speaker 3 (01:44:05):
Though at least there's some major reward for something like that,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (01:44:10):
At their own twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:44:11):
Five A bad call there, but at least at least
to win the game. That's what's at stake there, right, Chris.
I mean, they're not doing it just for a third
a third quarter play where they want to keep the
drive alives are down by a couple of touchdowns. They
did it to win the game. So I mean you
could argue that a little and the.

Speaker 2 (01:44:30):
Whole risk versus reward thing right. I'm much more willing to,
you know, not risk that because the reward. I mean,
you got lucky that they didn't spike the ball. Oh, absolutely,
I have more time. The end of one more, they
should have scored.

Speaker 3 (01:44:45):
Minnesota should have won that game, whether the clock ran
down a little bit or not. They should have had
a touchdown way before then.

Speaker 5 (01:44:51):
Really, and then one more.

Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Brandon has sent so many good Raider tweets and that
I'll I just picked this one out, he writes after
Week three. I know it wasn't one score game with
Steelers late, but if one were to ask me if
I thought McDaniels was a good offensive mind, I'd reply.

Speaker 4 (01:45:07):
My backside.

Speaker 2 (01:45:10):
He only has a good resume because of Tom Brady
being his quarterback for the better part of two decades.

Speaker 3 (01:45:16):
I can't argue with that. I don't think anybody would
argue with that. Belichick certainly would argue with that.

Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
Welcome to what I've been living for the last couple
of years. I thought Arnie knows I was in for
about three or four weeks, and then quickly I realized, Oh,
it's everyone else's fault.

Speaker 4 (01:45:31):
Not yes, yes, exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:45:34):
I know these people I've been around these people in life,
it's everyone else's fault but theirs.

Speaker 5 (01:45:39):
But you know who fixes everything for us, Arnie.

Speaker 4 (01:45:42):
The Sega does. That's right, and he's.

Speaker 5 (01:45:44):
Got a final update of the night. What's going on, Steve?

Speaker 8 (01:45:46):
You mentioned the Chargers going for it in the last
two minutes fourth and one. Their punter has been noticeably good,
is since they acquired him.

Speaker 9 (01:45:55):
JK. Scott from Alabama used to be with Green Bay.

Speaker 8 (01:45:57):
So if he puts forth a the cold forty five
to fifty yard punt, that means the Vikings have to
go about seventy yards with no timeouts in the last
minute forty five.

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
Just for the record to score a touchdown.

Speaker 8 (01:46:09):
Yeah yeah, because it was a as the court pointed out,
it was a four point lead and the opponent had
no timeouts. By the way, this hour, you'd mentioned that
Oregon took their foot off the gas yesterday. I have
a new slogan for an NFL team with another loss today,
New York Jets. All breaks, no gas, hard knocks, choke there.
But the Jets lost at home fifteen to ten to

(01:46:32):
New England. Patriots have won fifteen straight head to head
against the Jets. Guess what next? Sunday night, the Jets
host Kansas City. Oh my gosh, can they flex it out?

Speaker 5 (01:46:42):
The answer is no.

Speaker 8 (01:46:43):
They're not allowed to flex out a Sunday night game
during the first four weeks of a season, and even
weeks five to ten they can only use the flex
out twice. There is I looked at the future schedule.
One month from now, the Sunday night game is Dolphins
at Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:46:58):
Let's go and then late there's no flexing that one out.

Speaker 8 (01:47:02):
That was certainly not and hopefully they'll both still be undefeated.
That would be great for all of us. Late October,
the Chargers have a Sunday night home game against the Bears,
and you might think, well, they're gonna flex that out,
But to what because like the forty nine Ers play
that afternoon, but they're they're playing the Bengals who are
still winless at the moment, and what will Burrow be

(01:47:22):
or like the Chiefs are playing that afternoon, could they
flex it? Well, they're playing the Broncos that day, so
can you Just as you mentioned the Sean Payton lost
today seventy to twenty at Miami and the Broncos are
now zero to three. Maybe you could quote say me
that it doesn't happen often where an NFL team or
organization gets embarrassed, and that happened here. One of the

(01:47:43):
worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL, and embarrassment.
The Broncos must have spent so much time trying to
win the off season. These were all quotes from Sean
Payton talking about last year, right, So sorry, I just
had my Fox hat on there, but those were direct quote.
So it's needless to say for the Broncos franchise, their
most lopsided loss since the merger, breaking the mark of

(01:48:06):
a twenty ten game where they got killed by the
Raiders fifty nine fourteen.

Speaker 4 (01:48:11):
Who was the.

Speaker 8 (01:48:11):
Raiders coach, I don't know, but I know who the
Broncos coach was. It was Josh McDaniels in a four
and twelve.

Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
I think it was Tom Cable for us to be honest,
we really believe yeah, yeah, decade.

Speaker 5 (01:48:23):
I think Daron mcfatten went crazy that game.

Speaker 8 (01:48:25):
Well, those Raiders did lose at home tonight to Pittsburgh
twenty three eighteen. Even though DeVante Adams had thirteen catches up.

Speaker 5 (01:48:33):
He was the only guy they threw the ball to.

Speaker 8 (01:48:36):
One hundred and seventy two yards, two touchdowns, targeted twenty
times in this game. So Jimmy Garoppolo finished with two touchdowns,
three interceptions, sacked four times, two by TJ.

Speaker 4 (01:48:46):
Watt.

Speaker 8 (01:48:47):
I believe Keenan Allen was targeted twenty times today is
the Chargers held on at Minnesota twenty eight twenty four?

Speaker 9 (01:48:53):
The Vikings are zero and three.

Speaker 8 (01:48:54):
Another thing about going for it late fourth and one
inside your own twenty five. We've mentioned this often on
the show. The Chargers are a bottom five rushing team
under this head coach, including last year, and running back
Austin Eckler was out again today with a spring ankle. Anyway,
so the guy who subbed Joshua Kelly eleven carries twelve yards.

(01:49:15):
So no, the play didn't work. In case you were asking,
Chargers did win because they had Keenan Allen eighteen receptions
to the unbelievable two hundred and fifteen yards. What eighteen
catch games have there been in the NFL's history. Brandon
Marshall had one. Jason Whitten in twenty twelve had an
eighteen catch game.

Speaker 4 (01:49:35):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (01:49:36):
Tom Fears, the old Hall of Famer for the Rams
nineteen fifty. The record is still twenty receptions in an
NFL game Terrell Owens really the year two thousand. But
here you remember we mentioned the opener where two and
the Dolphins beat the Chargers, and they kept getting the
passes out quickly and he wasn't holding onto the ball
at all, and they kept moving down the field. The
Vikings blitz Justin Herbert today on about forty of his

(01:50:00):
fifty dropbacks, one of the highest blitz rates ever since
next Gen stats has been going deep into NFL games.
He averaged only two point two seconds in the time
to throw, the only time in his Charger career he's
had that little time to throw, and he kept succeeding.
Justin Herbert forty of forty seven passing four hundred five

(01:50:23):
yards three touchdowns. I mentioned earlier that he's already up
to fifteen thousand career passing yards. He'd never had a
four hundred yard passing game until today was for the record.
Kansas City and Seattle with home wins. Arizona beat Dallas
twenty eight to sixteen the Cowboys with thirteen penalties for
over one hundred yards. Green Bay came back and beat

(01:50:46):
New Orleans with eighteen points in the fourth quarter eighteen seventeen,
and Saints quarterback Derek Carr injured his right shoulder on
a sack. Colts won in overtime at Baltimore. Houston easily
wins at Jacksonville. The Cleveland win over Tennessee was twenty
seven to three. Titans offense had six first downs ninety
four yards. Ryan Tannehill was sacked five times. Derrick Henry

(01:51:07):
eleven carries twenty yards rushing, Miles Garrett three and a
half sacks. Detroit and New England with wins the Buffalo
victory thirty seven to three at Washington. Next Sunday, the
Bills hosts the Dolphins. Two Monday night games Tomorrow. We'll
see about Joe Burrow and the sore calf for the
Bengals against the Rams. Good news for the Eagles this

(01:51:27):
weekend was the wide receiver DeVante Smith practice fully yesterday,
so he should be playing Monday. Two and oh Eagles
against the two and oh Bucks this Saturday on Fox
TV noon Eastern time. It's Colorado hosting number eight. USC
Colorado is out of college football's top twenty five. The
top three stayed the same at AP Georgia, Michigan, Texas,
Ohio State moved up to number four, Florida State is

(01:51:49):
number five, and the Pac twelve Conference has four teams
in the top ten for the first time in its history.
Arizona just in time to disband, by the way, Vascar
win for William Byron at Texas. Bryson Deshambo took the
live golf event in Chicago. He earned over five million
dollars this weekend for three days of golf. US women's

(01:52:11):
soccer won its exhibition in Chicago two nothing against South Africa.
Megan Rpinos final game with the team and baseball as
one week left in the regular season, the Brewers' magic
number to clinch the NL Central still won over the Cubs.
Milwaukee lost today at Miami. Cubs won again four to
three against Colorado. Cubs lead for the final NL wildcard
spot still one game over Miami, two and a half

(01:52:33):
up on the Reds.

Speaker 2 (01:52:34):
Back to you great stuff as always, Steve, have a
great week man Chargers Raiders next week, so Steve and
I will be on opposite sides of the broadcast.

Speaker 4 (01:52:43):
Boo wow hey.

Speaker 2 (01:52:46):
He brought up the Raiders fifty nine fourteen win over
the Broncos. I believe that was twenty ten, twenty eleven.
Darren mcfatten on that day, one hundred and sixty five
yards three touchdowns might have been his greatest day ever
as a Raider. I still hold on to it. I'd
given up on that team, ARTI. I was grocery shopping
and someone called me the you guys are up twenty

(01:53:08):
one to zip straight to the bar. Let's watch this
bad boy, all right, when we come back. We got
your picks, and I know you're on cloud nine right
now with your dolphins.

Speaker 5 (01:53:18):
But yes, the picks are still a little bit in limbo.

Speaker 4 (01:53:21):
Yeah they were just average version bad.

Speaker 5 (01:53:24):
Yeah, not good.

Speaker 2 (01:53:25):
You had a few upsets that you hit. But let
me let me take you a break with his stat.

Speaker 4 (01:53:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:53:31):
Next week's Bears Broncos game will be the first game
in NFL history between two teams who combined to allow
over a combine one hundred and ten plus points and
eleven hundred plus yards the previous week, the first time ever.
That's according to optistats dot com. Of course, one team

(01:53:52):
gave up seventy, the other team gave up forty, and
they each combined to give up one thousand yards. I
think you guys about rushed for a thousand yards on
the Bronco. You know, on the Broncos. You know those
maps they show you which which parts of the country
get games?

Speaker 4 (01:54:08):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:54:08):
There can't be hardly any of the country getting this
game next week, right?

Speaker 3 (01:54:12):
No, do you have to take the over on that game?
What is the overrunner on a game like that?

Speaker 4 (01:54:16):
You know, dude?

Speaker 2 (01:54:17):
I thought I had a slam dunk under bet this
week with the Iowa State Cyclones and the Oklahoma State Cowboys, right,
and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Out
of nowhere, they both learned.

Speaker 5 (01:54:27):
How to play defense our offense. Excuse me? They scared?
They beat the over in the first quarter. It was
wild sees.

Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
You never know what happens, Arnie, when two crappy teams
get together. Fireworks could happen. All right, when we come back,
it is indeed time for this stinking genius to give
you his picks on the week ahead as we wrap
things up on another Sunday Night with Arnie and Plank
on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 5 (01:54:51):

Speaker 5 (01:55:26):
You can hear it in his voice.

Speaker 10 (01:55:27):
First and goal from the six with twenty two seconds
to go in the game.

Speaker 5 (01:55:31):
Kill the clock, man, kill it, Yeah, I mean kill
the clock. We're trying to get everything set up. Cousin's
trying to get a play out there. We've burned about
five or ten xt for seconds because of the.

Speaker 10 (01:55:39):
Kirk shotgun, back to pass, throws to the end zone,
fall's bouncing about interceptive by the Chargers in Minnesota, Vikings
arrowa Thoria.

Speaker 4 (01:55:47):
Each didn't mean unbelievable? Are you kidding me? Are you
kidding me?

Speaker 4 (01:56:13):
He's gone thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:56:15):
Nobody's been to cat say.

Speaker 10 (01:56:16):
Ah, well, you want to see a speed out, it's
best one to day the rookie out of Texas A
and Imbit's had.

Speaker 4 (01:56:26):
He just outruns everybody.

Speaker 5 (01:56:29):
Do you guys have a song?

Speaker 4 (01:56:30):
Yeah? I made them pull it, but they haven't played
it all showed today because.

Speaker 2 (01:56:34):
All we've heard about is the Dolphins. I mean, do
we need your song too? To make it better?

Speaker 3 (01:56:39):
And then they have a part where they go, when
you're talking Miami Dolphins, you're talking super Bowl because we're
the Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (01:56:50):
Number one.

Speaker 2 (01:56:52):
Every song has number one on the end of it.
When they're like Houston oilers, Houston oilers.

Speaker 4 (01:56:57):
Houston, we stole it. That's the song we stole was
from Hugh number one, number one.

Speaker 5 (01:57:01):
Yes, all right, take it away, here you go. This
might be your good pick. Music. Oh, it's taking genius.
Let's hear your picks for the week ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:57:10):
All right, let me get to Yeah, give me give
me a little music, different music music?

Speaker 5 (01:57:15):
What do you mean? Give you a little music? Got
your dolphins music?

Speaker 4 (01:57:18):
Listen to me a college?

Speaker 5 (01:57:19):
Uh litt?

Speaker 4 (01:57:20):
Ok?

Speaker 3 (01:57:22):
Well, no, I was umvorable three four and one, but
I'm eighteen fifteen to two overall, but three four and one,
so it sub five hundred in the NFL four and four.
Not happy about that. So hopefully I have a better week.
Did we get to college. I'm gonna take Penn State
minus the twenty six and a half against Northwestern. They
should just clabor them by five touchdowns. I'm back on

(01:57:44):
the Colorado baywagon. I think it's gonna be closer, and
people think give me the twenty three against USC.

Speaker 4 (01:57:51):
Uh set special number one, Chris, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:57:56):
You're not gonna have five and oh teams when you
play Texas because Texas gonna lose to Kansas. I don't
want the seventeen. I don't need the seventeen. I'm gonna
take the seventeen Kansas to beat Texas.

Speaker 4 (01:58:11):
Do you like that one, Chris or no?

Speaker 1 (01:58:12):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:58:12):
I do, and I think Kansas is really good. I
think it's gonna be a good game.

Speaker 4 (01:58:16):
Oh, I think I really do.

Speaker 5 (01:58:18):
A big number, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (01:58:19):
That's all large Kansas.

Speaker 2 (01:58:21):
Kansas played like crap on the road against Nevada, almost
lost to him.

Speaker 5 (01:58:24):
And this is in Austin, right.

Speaker 3 (01:58:26):
Yes, No, I'm gonna take Oregon lay in the twenty
seven against Stanford, who we're lucky to get a one
point victory against them.

Speaker 4 (01:58:34):
How bad is Stanford horrible? And we beat him by
one point?

Speaker 3 (01:58:37):
And the kicker had made twenty five kicks in a
row and he missed two kicks, two fifty one yarders.
That's how he wont Special number two. The dookies don't
want the five and a half, don't need the five,
and I'm gonna take the five and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:58:54):
They're gonna beat Notre Dame.

Speaker 3 (01:58:56):
I'm gonna take Arizona to beat Washington another upset special
plus the seventeen and a half. And I took Mississippi
State plus the fourteen and a half against Alabama.

Speaker 4 (01:59:07):
Quickly then me get over to the NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:59:09):
We gonna take Jacksonville in the three against the land
up Mike Dolphins. I love I love I love them
plus the two and a half against Buffalo. I don't
have a line on the Chargers or Raiders, but I'm
taking the Chargers to beat Dallas.

Speaker 4 (01:59:23):
Lay and seven against doing them.

Speaker 3 (01:59:25):
They'll bounce back Chets plus nine against Kansas City. I'll
lay the one and a half with the Lions against
Green Bay. Give me Cleveland minus the two against Baltimore.

Speaker 4 (01:59:34):
There you have my pick.

Speaker 3 (01:59:34):
Stew with them, Midge of please no longer strictly for
entertainment purposes.

Speaker 5 (01:59:38):
Only look at chill with the clock management. Well done,
well done.

Speaker 2 (01:59:44):
Don't you ever question the great help that we have
on this show, the great people?

Speaker 4 (01:59:48):
It never.

Speaker 7 (01:59:50):
So.

Speaker 2 (01:59:51):
Are you going to allow your mood to be too negative?
If things don't go your way next week?

Speaker 3 (01:59:58):
Somebody's got to win, either Arizona or Miami's, somebody's.

Speaker 2 (02:00:02):
Gone, you know, you know what I mean? I mean,
what if you're what if your Miami Dolphins happen to lose.

Speaker 4 (02:00:07):
They won't If they didn't, they might not come to work.
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:00:12):
I like the staying very positive, you feel good about
No if they lose, I'm not going to be here
next night and By the way, kudos. You're not giving
your Arizona Wildcats enough credit. It's not a bad start, Arnie.
How many times it's a little three in one and feel.

Speaker 4 (02:00:26):
Going about it? About that Stanford game, Hey, you won
the game.

Speaker 2 (02:00:29):
That's all that matters. All right, everybody, have a great
week for the stinking genius. I'm Chris Plank, the Legend,
the man, the Big Ben Mallard coming up next to
see you next Sunday on Fox Sports Radio.
