We're here to break it all down.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett mg App.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Now we're live from your tailgame.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Here's Brian no Hier, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports
handicapper from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Oh what is going on? Everybody? Have a loaded show
for you today Week three in the NFL as I
try to recover from last night after my Irish Oh
my gosh. I don't know if you guys have any
words for me to.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
You know that you need to typically eleven guys on
the field to do your job in football. It's helpful, yeah, yeah,
helpful to have eleven. I noticed that right away. I
was like, there's they're missing someone. Two straight plays, two
straight plays, but like, no one, no coach, like hey man,
go like and I've heard coach Freeman's after the game
that they didn't want to get a penalty. You're on
the inch line, the ball's going to move forward. Half

(01:32):
a ball like you have to. I thought it was
all house that I would have run the ball right there, dude.
And the crazy part is no name almost made the play,
like they almost got him down there at the end.
This issue was obviously the third and nineteen, like you
just can't let them throw the ball without any like
he wasn't rerouted that, why was here? Wasn't reright? Just

(01:53):
ran straight, turned around, caught the pass And yeah, that
was tough. I was too busy gloting but organ for
most of that game.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
And.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, those problems. You had a forty two to six
win and no biggie, you know, go Ducks and Notre Dame.
Think about that final drive. I mean, here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Defense.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I would say, most of the people listening are happy
Notre Dame got their hearts broken that way, But don't
think it like that. Think about whoever you root for
losing that way. Just think about it like that. It
was the worst. The last drive Notre Dame had an
interception DJ Brown had, It didn't make the play Ohios.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Pass.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, Ohio State converts fourth and seven. Like you said, Jeff,
third and nineteen. We're in the final seconds. They convert
third and nineteen, and then the final two plays they
don't have their defensive end out there.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Good morning, guys. You know I heard about that game,
and to be honest, I forgot. I forgot about Brian,
your big allegiance there with that team. That must have
been heartbreaking. But yeah, Jeff and I were on the
same team yesterday, of course, and Oregon became a real
good money line here in Las Vegas because of all

(03:17):
the Colorado money line bets, little ones, twenty five to
fifty hundred, all the money line bets. They just the
fans just loved the root for this team and what
it's done. I mean, you know, this is a situation
a few weeks ago where TCU came in about the
same spreader and Colorado won. So the fans seen this

(03:37):
happening again, but the sportsbooks did not want want this
to happen again, because the sportsbooks actually lost so much
money on that game that it ruined their Saturday or
at least their Saturday night, So they really was like, well, listen,
we got to get money on the other side, and
they went down to minus seven to one money line,

(03:58):
which on a twenty one point favorite is ridiculous. There
was some other twenty one point favorites put a tweet
out and explain it to some of the people.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I'm glad you explained this because this is important.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
I put the tweet out to explain to people that
to explain what you did.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
First, you bet minus seven ninety.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Seven ninety one minus seven nineties on Friday night. A
good buddy of mine was like, cract, this is just
way too low. Steve Fessick, very sharp guy, also a
very good friend of mine. He's like, this money line
is way too low. This should be a twenty one
point favorite, should be about at least twelve to one,
maybe thirteen fourteen. And then there was up the sixteen

(04:37):
seventeen to one out there. He said that there's so
much money coming in, so if you can go lay
the seven ninety that would be a really good bet
for us. So the amount of money I wanted to bet,
you really can't bet on the app, so you have
to go down in person. So I went down to
one of our sports circa here in town and put
a large bet on the money lineup organ money line. Well,

(05:01):
then the next day again it dropped a seven point
fifty and even seven to one. When it dropped the
seven to one, I said, I gotta go, you know,
go bet this again. So I went down to another
casino again, bet it again for another twenty one thousand
to win free. And you know, it sounds like crazy bets.
You're betting money line, you're laying seven to one. It's

(05:23):
really against everything I do normally. But the value was
on this ticket, I explained after the game was overall,
so and I put those tics, I put one of
the tickets up. I didn't want to seem like I
was kind of bragging, right, I just wanted to show
people that this was good value if you had that
low of money line. But after the game was over,
I put another tweet up explaining why I bet that.
And for people especially new to this game. Most people

(05:44):
are new, you know, you're under thirty crowd. They're all
brand new to sports betting because all the big books
that came to the country. So I don't want them
to think that a twenty one point favorite is something
that Oh my god, you can just bet money line
on twenty one point favorites and wine. No, no, no,
it's not the case. As a matter of fact, I
made some relevance to other twenty one point favors throughout
the day, putting that video up explaining that, you know

(06:07):
these are thirteen to one, fourteen to one. The value
was in this minus seven to one, and it was
here in town only, So it was a good victory.
And I related it to the fight when Mayweather foot McGregor.
This town was full of McGregor fans. They were flying
in from all over, not just Ireland, and that was
a big money making opportunity for me and anyone sharp. Actually,

(06:29):
the books were forced to move maywhether you know at
fight time this fight was like four and a half
to one, five to one at fight time. One of
the casinos in town had so much money at McGregor
the last twenty minutes they said, hey, just put it
out minus two to one. So I bet at minus
two to one for a lot of money too, And
even though I had a lot on it already, this
reminded me of that not so much at the Mayweather

(06:51):
McGregor like it wasn't that good as that particular fight,
but it was very close though, So that was all.
This wasn't a bragging thing. This is more of teaching
the public and showing them that they're when when the
public is on one side so much, the bookmakers are
willing to hang that low fruit for you to take.
So that's all.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Well, I'm glad you mentioned that because I was looking
at the NFL lines this morning before we got a
honor and the Chiefs are the thirteen point favorites to appointment.
Their money line is minus eight hundred. Wow, and interesting
Oregon was a twenty one point favorite at minus seven hundred.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
There you go, So like that.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
That's the point Cracks trying to make right is like
the value in just that number. And this thing about value, right, people,
we thought this all the time on this show I
talk at all the time on other stuff. People think
value is only getting a plus a plus with a
bunch of zeros out. No, you're right, not what that's
that doesn't that's not what value it can be. But
like people just bet Justin Field's MVP because it's value.
That doesn't that's not a real thing that you should

(07:43):
be doing. Rack is talking about value, right. If you
see something at minus thirteen hundred that they're shopping at
minus seven hundred, that's a big difference. And so you
take the value in that ticket. I know it's twenty
one to win three whatever. I mean, it cashed obviously,
but there is ah there's a point of doing that sometimes,
and that's what value is, and there was value in
Fading Colorado yesterday. I just gotta say very quickly, I

(08:08):
did you watch the game?

Speaker 5 (08:09):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I don't think Crack watches much of the game. Watchcase, Brian,
did you watch the game? By any chance? Do you
watch with the volume on?

Speaker 5 (08:16):
Well?

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I had numerous TVs on, So.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
I have just never seen a broadcast talk about a
team get their butts swooped in such a positive manner
in this broadcast?

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Joe tessitur Is Joe Store and Palmer.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Also, they ran a story during the game. This is
still my favorite part of the entire coverage. The story
during the game where Dion said he has never been
a twenty one point underdog at anything and how disrespected
he felt about that when they were twenty one put
underdogs in a week one? What are we doing Like,
why are we doing these things? Why are we making
up stories about I call it the Colorado Broadcast Network.

(08:50):
They just talked about Colorado for the entire game with
the number ten team in the country. I know, I'm
an Organ fan. Is kicking their butts. Talk about the
team that's winning right now, Like, come on, I talk
about what they're doing right, was doing wrong? And now
everyone's going back to Boulder this weekend. Fox is going
first Take is going, McAfee's going, USC is going US.

(09:11):
If you think Oregon put up a lot of points,
Organ called the dogs off at the end, wait till
USC shows up this weekend. US didn't even play well
last night.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
That's what I thought they were going to crush Arizona State.
That was a weird game.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Well, there's a couple of fumbles and USC's defense again
is just not as good. I mean Arizona s they
had it scored thirty nine points in the first three
games of the season. They put twenty eight last night.
So uh, and it was thirty five to twenty eight
in the fourth quarter. It was. It was a good game.
So college football, though, nothing beats it. Man, It's just
it's an It's a unique sport. I mean the Clemson

(09:45):
kicker thing. You bring a kicker out of retirement he
misses a twenty yard goal with his parents in the
crowd and hyping up that all. It just is, you
don't get that in the NFL. You just don't get that.
Two different sports, and I like them for for for
both different reasons. But they're they're beautiful.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Nonetheless, Yeah, how crazy was that Clemson game? Just in general?

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Clem Now that I did watch some of that game, Yeah,
that one I watched some of I was home for
that before I went out to those sportsbooks. But I
did see some of that game, and it looks like
Clemson from what I'm hearing, really uh screwed themselves and
a lot of opportunities there to win that game.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
For I hit it for Debo, just real, real, real
hate big Dabbo fan.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
You are, huh yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Big Dabo fan. I am, Yeah, Clemson. The thing about
college football is I feel like it's more about which
teams blow the game that which teams win the game,
where in the NFL it's about who wins the game, right,
Like you in the NFL, you just you you win
the game, right like a college football. You're like, yeah, Noreaday,
I'm screwed up on third nineteen. They didn't have they

(10:47):
had ten guys in the field. You know, Clemson had
a missed field goal and that didn't block a blitzer.
And it's not It feels like the narrative is almost
never about what a team did to win the game.
We're in the NFL, we talk more about the teams
did win the game and how they did it.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I don't know, I know, I'm just incredibly sad mad.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
I feel bad.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
You all should have won that game. I was surprised
there were more points. I don't know how Harrison came
back in the game.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I don't either. When he went down, he got rolled
up on Crack because he was blocking and Trayvon Henderson
was just out the gate for some like this, Holy everybody. Yeah,
But when Marvin Harrison Junior got rolled up like that,
I'm like, that's probably at the very least an ankle
sprain and he's probably on the shelf for three four weeks.

(11:37):
Most likely he came back in the game. I was
impressed by that, man. I didn't think he was going
to be back in that game.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
I was in I was in one of the casinos
here getting my walking through. It was just as the
casino that I was in was so smoky. I couldn't
believe people will watch games through that smoke. Usually it's
not like I was in a local casino. Local casinos,
you're going to have that. But I was in a
local casino and they were listen. I am telling you
there wasn't a seat to be had, standing room only,

(12:03):
and they were. They were yelling at that game. By
the way, but there was a lot of people in
the book totally packed lines. That's something that shocks. But
I'm gonna put a video on Twitter. Later took a
I took a video of like the four PM games
were going, We're about to go off, yet there was
fifty people online. I'm like, there's no way they're getting
the bets, and like people just don't realize you have

(12:24):
to get to the counter. I had. Everyone wants to
make their decision last second. It's amazing you guys have
been in sports books, but I mean you really the
last second everyone bets, and that just goes to show
me that they're not prepared, they didn't know what they want.
They're forcing themselves to make bets and that happened. I
have this first weekend I was in a sports book.

(12:45):
Even preseason, I wasn't any This is the first weekend
Saturday I was in a sportsbook. I never expected it
to be that packed. Uh, it's unbelievable how popular college football.
Of course today pro football too, but college football, Oh
my god. People love this. They love betting, but they
just don't realize that. You know, they can't wait till
the last minute because at least thirty people got shut

(13:07):
out for making bets someone during that time.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Well, when you go to the sports where they just
roll out the red carpet, Sir trump Sey, I wouldn't
believe it's the guy from Action, this guy from the series.
You need to see in the front row.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
I got to tell you something. You wouldn't believe this.
Most of now, the local casinos don't do it. But
the bigger strip casinos they all charge for seating, and
they don't they wouldn't care build cracking burgers in the room.
I'm still have to pay one hundred and twenty five
bucks for a seat. I mean, they're just it's amazing
that all these casinos get Away were charging even in
Atlantic City. I'm going next week at Atlantic City. I'll

(13:47):
be doing my portion of the show from there, and
they charge you for seats. I'm trying to get seats
from my buddies now. I have like the highest seven
star card in one of the casinos, and I'm struggling
to get three seats. It's unbelievable hard it is to
get seats, and casinos they can monetize it now.

All right, We've got Christian Cipollini with us bet MGM
trading manager. I'm hoping Christian, you can provide a reason
for me to keep going on with life after my
precious Irish lost a heartbreaker last night. You have any
words of wisdom for me?

Speaker 6 (16:24):
I mean Brian dam was mad at him?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Huh yeah, not a big not a big Lou Holtz
fan that Ryan Day over there, but no, not at
all crazy. Yeah, we're physical. I take this personally. Okay, dude,
settle down, jackass. But anyway, Christian Week three today, man, uh,
I want to know what are the most popular bets
because sometimes we swim the other way, right, but not always.

(16:48):
But I'm just curious what the most popular bets are
so far today.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
But yeah, I can tell you I can't write a
bet on the Cardinals or the Bear. So two of
the big popular ones. I've expected the Outboys and Chiefs
in that four o'clock window.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
How's the weather affecting some of the totals today in
the Northeast? I know, I think I saw a report
of two to four inches of rain in Washington. How's
that changing kind of the totals here for today?

Speaker 6 (17:15):
Yeah, that game and the Jets Patriots game, which is
now down the thirty five. You know, both of those
lines have shifted pretty far down with the weather, but
looks like it actually might not end up being as
bad as it was projected.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
Christian and I I'm reading something from the bet MGM
insights that we get sent every morning. Betters have little
faith in many of the Owen two NFC teams. As
a result, the Bears, Cardinals and Panthers covering as a
underdogs this week are the most important needs for the
sports book. Now, will you guys adjust those lines? Now?
What I mean by that is, in particular, will you

(17:49):
over adjust those lines to get some other money on
Arizona team? Or because I noticed look here, you guys,
I think I have twelve and a half minus fifteen
as we where there's some thirteen's on the screen, or
that shows me that you don't mind booking it and
you'll you'll have a side on that game, or or
eventually by game time, will you actually overadjust the line

(18:11):
to get some money back?

Speaker 6 (18:13):
Sometimes we just like staying on that half point. That way,
you know, there's no push and don't end up just
getting a wash on the handle there. So that's kind
of why we're leaning there. It's also a factor of
I really don't even know what the number would be
to get me to start getting Cardinals' numbers. At this point,
we don't want to go too far out of market,
and you know, stick with what the shark people has
been telling us.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
But so will you feel that eighty five percent? Will you?
Will you be happy going to the wire with an
eighty percent bet where eighty percent of the money is
on a Dallas team and that's just the way it is.
You'll be rooting for Arizona. Is that something that's a
normal every weekend exactly?

Speaker 6 (18:48):
We just kind of see it as a year long thing. Yeah,
there's going to be plenty of these games where I'm
I'm sure it's going to be about eighty five ninety
percent of money towards Dallas. Same with the chief is
going to be eighty five ninety towards the chief. And
you know, as long as as a couple of those
teams end up winning or get you know, at least covering,
we wind up making out in the long term.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Cool Christian Sipolini joining us here on countdown to kickoff?
Can you expand on that a little bit, Christian? Where
I'm really interested where when the lines move and when
they just hold. It's kind of like mel Gibson in
Brave Heart, where.

Speaker 5 (19:19):
It's old hold right.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
It's it's interesting to me. Why is that where you
guys will either hold firm like you're saying you can't
ride a ticket for the Arizona Cardinals or the Bears
today and other times the lines move quite a bit.
What goes into a line moving or staying the same,
at least for us for.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
MGM, you know, we we take what our sharp players have.
We respect our sharp players, and if they tell us,
you know, if this number is off, you gotta move it.
I'm betting it because I like it.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Then you know we'll.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Respect that and we'll end up moving. You know, we
don't try to go too too far out of market
because then that's how we'll get ourselves in trouble too.
But but like I said, we'll treat these as season
long and a week one Commander's Cardinals. We had ninety
percent of the money on the Commanders, and the Cardinals
ended up covering. As long as we get a couple
of year, we know we'll be okay.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
How do you protect yourself today from the Chiefs Cowboys
teaser that you're going to get in or money line parlays.
There's no protection's going to hope that that you know
one of those games is close and you kind of
make back that teaser money.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Yeah, the protection was Colorado losing last night. That was
our protection.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
I'm a organ fan, all right, I'll take it. I
was very happy that was all last night. I'm sure
you guys were. Was that the most I saw the
tweets going out from all different sportsbooks talking about the
most liability in years something, the most liability ever? Did
you experience that for yourself yesterday heading into that game?

Speaker 6 (20:48):
Yeah, that would have been our biggest loss, like single
game loss. It would have absolutely been that hat Colorado
one on the money line?

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Ever for sure? Oh yeah, wow, I've seen it also
on the insights, Miami Dolphins or the most bet games
ticket wise and the most bet games handle according to
the insights that I don't know when this was written.
Is that's still the case Miami Dolphin money you're getting,
you're gonna have a side on Denver.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
Yeah, I'm not I'm not sure if that's the exact case. Now,
I know the Chargers Bikings has been taking a lot
of money. My guess is that's gonna be the one
that's gonna end up end up being the big ones
throughout the day. Just a high total pick home. You
know a lot of people can go either way. You
can kind of just take your pick with this one.
The Dolphins Bronco is one is a bit interesting to me.
I wouldn't have expected that one to have that much handle,

(21:35):
right is there?

Speaker 5 (21:36):
For the early games? Then Minnesota Chargers, you're getting a
lot of handle. What looks like to be your side?
You guys are going to be rooting for in that game. Also,
my last one for you is Tennessee Cleveland. I have
seen some sharp guys, some very sharp guys that I
know on Cleveland, But then again, i've seen a sharp
guy that I really respect on Tennessee. So both of
those two games, Minnesota Chargers, Tennessee Cleveland. Who you guys

(21:59):
a gonna have on those games at this point anyway?

Speaker 6 (22:02):
Yeah, I mean depends on what number, I guess, because
now we're at the three and a half. So at
the three and a half we're taking money at Tennessee.
But when we were back on three, we're taking money
on Cleveland. Oh, they both of these games. Yeah, so
it depends on whatever number. But both of those games
were actually pretty close to getting the fifty to fifty
money the charters Vikings and we're sitting you know, pretty
much had to pick them here and we're getting equal

(22:23):
side both ways. So I'm okay with that as long
as it goes on, just because we're getting tons of
overpest cool.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Well, hey, Christian, good stuff today as always. Man, hope
you enjoy week three and we'll catch you soon.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Absolutely there. He is Christian Cipollini bet MGM Trading Manager. Okay,
we go from Christian to our main man, Dan Bayer. Huh,
we're graced with a little buyer action this morning. What's
going on, Dan?

Speaker 5 (22:48):
And what's going on?

Speaker 7 (22:49):
Fellas a lot happening in the NFL, and instead of
just looking at Week three, we can look ahead the
next season. As a report surface today, NFL Executive VP
Peter O'Reilly can to ESPN that the NFL is looking
at playing games in Spain and Brazil. Those games could
come up as soon as next season. Of course, we're

(23:09):
just a couple weeks away from the international games. Chargers
and Vikings one Eastern Joey Bosa expected to start for
the Bolts despite being questionable. Vikings offensive line getting Christian
Darra saw back at left tackle, but center Gerrett Bradbury
not likely to play, according to the NFL Network. Bears
in Chiefs for twenty five Eastern Time today. Chiefs running
back as Aa Pacheco expected to be active despite the

(23:31):
hamstring injury that limited him in practice this week. Panthers
playing without Bryce Young, the Seahawks are playing with DK Metcalf.
He's expected to play today despite a rib injury, and
Usher will headline the Apple Music halftime show in Las
Vegas at Super Bowl fifty eight. Couple of other things
to note. Lake College football Number five USC top to
Arizona State last night, forty two to twenty eight, while

(23:54):
eight ranked Washington remained unbeaten, beating Cal fifty nine to
thirty two. Some soccer just to give you enough day, Yeah,
Premier League seventy first minute Arsenal and Tottenham tied up
at two apiece, and it's tight at the Solheim Cup.
US up twelve and a half on Europe. Who's got
ten and a half? US needs fourteen and a half
points to retain the cup?

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Fell us back to.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
You, Thank you Dan. It is Fox Sports Radios Coumtown
to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM. You know one of
the games that Christian just hit on a couple of
minutes ago, Patriots against the Jets. So the Jets are
a two and a half point home underdog on bet MGM.
The total is Christian said, down to thirty five, and

(24:35):
you have to ask yourself who's scoring on who? You
see that and you're like thirty five? Oh my gosh,
I mean really, who's scoring on who? Zach Wilson has
been brutal against the Patriots game after game after game.
You just saw Bill Belichick take away Tyreek Hill of
the Dolphins. I mean that's his trademark is he typically

(24:59):
takes away what you do best offensively. So if Garrett
Wilson isn't doing a whole lot today, who else is
for the Jets offense? And then you look at that
dink and dunk Patriots offense against that Jets defense. This
has got to be a low scoring game. It seems
like it's going to be a very low scoring game.
So thirty five might be like, oh my goshun, I'd

(25:21):
be careful about that.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
I got thirty seven. It's my favorite bet of the weekend.
Zach Wilson's played the Patriots four times, He's zero to four,
he's putting fifty percent of passes, and the team has
scored three, thirteen, six, and seventeen. And the seventeen might
even be a defensive scored even I didn't be honest,
I didn't follow up on how they scored seventeen. And

(25:43):
a Patriots team has shown defensively they're good and offensively.
A good buddy of mind. Gan Rueminstein has invented a
term called it pick a ball offense. Pick a ball offense, right,
I like that? Yeah, the Patrier are a pickle ball offense.
Like they just four yards, three yards, two yards, eight yards,
like just bang bang, boom, like just pick a ball

(26:05):
down the field.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Football has evolved into really being about explosive plays offensively
and defensively. Can you get them on offense? Can you
stop them on defense? And that's very simplified. I get that,
but the Patriots have no ability to get explosive plays.
When you play a team like the Jets and their defense, guys,
you have to create explosive plays because you cannot pick

(26:29):
up ball that defense to death. You can't do that, right,
It's not possible. When you play good defenses, you have
to create chunk plays. The Patriots can't do that. So
I know it seems square crack to take the under
thirty five is very low. I'm sure there's a tweet
we're going to get about when the total is thirty
five it goes over X amount of time. But I
actually think this is a spot where like, think about

(26:50):
the scores for this game, right, twenty seventeens in over
thirty five? Are we getting twenty seventeen? Are we really
getting there?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Yeah? This is the key that that's a very keen number. Jeff,
did you say you had under thirty seven?

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Thirty seven?

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Yes, you're gonna get turn on of your book maker.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
But I just took it was early this week. I took.
I took the number what it was, and I told you,
I go to I go to New York on Wednesdays
and Thursdays. Now, yeah, Tuesday, Land.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Didn't you empty your account on something?

Speaker 3 (27:16):
And you said, yeah, empty my account on the money
line of the for the News on Thursday nights before
I laid a bunch of wagers down. I'm like, you
know what, I'd like five hundred left. I'm like Niner's
money line. I don't same as you crack like the
organ thing. I'm like, Niners aren't losing, gotcha. But I
just go to New York. I just start laying these
nine thirty seven was when I got on Wednesday. I'll
take it.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
I text, I text chef yesterday. I said, listen, you're
in New York every week. You gotta go to Catches
DELI fed up Astrami and then a couple far away.
It's too far from where you're you're uptown somewhere.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Then at me, I'm staying like like a little bit
north of Times Square, and so oh yeah, you're way
up to get to get all the way to cats
is a long haul.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
There's a couple of good bagel places over there, though.
That's a bagel on third Oh god.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Yeah, I'm more on like the west side. I'm like,
it's but I know where it's a big eel is less.
I wish I could get the cat as maybe. I
mean I could, I could take a subway down there.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
I mean, best pastrami in the world. I'll put that
up against anything. You know, It's funny when you go
in there. Now. I went in a couple about, you know,
two months ago, and I seen the price was you know,
I don't look.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
A price sure to get paid enough to eat there anymore.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Yeah, it's twenty eight bucks for a pastrami sandwich, like
twenty seven ninety five. It's like, wow, that people. But
yet they're lined up outside no matter what the weather is.
Best pastrami in the world's been there one hundred in
some years. And the same thing that you know, I
have my bagel spots there right though.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Let's you had a mons of ball soup. You're looking
at fifty dollars for lunch.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
Oh god, it's it's it's sick, but it's it's you know,
you're on vacation, you're traveling there, you're working. Whatever it is,
no matter what, you gotta get it. It's only once
in a lifetime for a lot of people. New England Jets.
Let's let's go back to the right right across the
bay there over to Jersey and you know the Patriots
now really desperate here. They're zing three. Wow, that's a
big situation for them. And you know, this is definitely

(28:59):
the lowest toe of the year. It might be the
lowest total for many years that I remember seeing in
the NFL. Thirty very rarely gets past the third down
pass to thirty seven. So to see it at thirty five, now, well,
I'll tell you I'm not betting the I can't. It's
just so easy to get thirty five points in the NFL.

(29:20):
You know, I can't bet the total here. I can't
go wonder here anyway. This this Jet team, though, when
you have a total under thirty seven, under thirty eight,
it actually is the stat under thirty eight, and you
have a home dog that you could tease through the
key numbers of three and seven. This is the situation
I've never seen. I'm gonna find someone to tease the

(29:41):
Jets with that's for sure. So the Jets plus eight
and a half just on a six point teaser plus
eight and a half or even plus nine. There's a
lot of threes up on the screen now too. I
think that's a good situation here for a teaser. I'll
look to bet some other legs. There's some other games
you can bet legs of a teaser, but they're kind
of scary this week too. I don't know. Something may

(30:01):
smell a little bit like that, like you know these
games again. By the way, last weekend every teaser leg
through the key numbers one they went five and oh
so and the first weekend also the bookmakers got beat
up on teasers. So they're about their turn to the
meaning at some point throughout the season, is it today,
Well that's yet to be seen.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
The crazy thing with Mac Jones, he's leading all quarterbacks
in passing attempts. He's got ninety six so far. Wow
this season. So you think about Mac Jones, his prop
bet for passing attempts is just thirty one and a
half today. So immediately I start thinking, well, maybe it's
just one of these weird games and they're running the

(30:42):
ball like crazy. Ask yourself. How effectively are the Patriots
going to be able to run it against the Jets?

Speaker 3 (30:48):
They can't, right on, right, Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
What are they gonna do. They're gonna be throwing a
bunch of short, quick passes, which is what they've done
all year long. So I can see mac Jones getting
to thirty two passing itttempts easily in this one, unless
they have a lead late and they're just protecting it
and there's some weird stuff that happens. But I think
this is a toss up game, and I would expect
mac Jones to be throwing a lot of short passes

(31:13):
because the running game is average at best. I can't
see them having any type of real success running the
ball against the Jets.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Uh yeah, I mean they had no recess running bug
as anyone else so far. Yeah, I just think it's
gonna be It's just gonna be ugly sometimes. I think,
you know, we sort of try to find ways where
it's not gonna go kind of as expected, right like, right,

(31:45):
but this game, I just hard to find a way
this Both teams score a lot of points, right like.
I know, again, thirty five is low and you have
to you're not getting the best number now. But like I,
they really are both teams really gonna score, like in
the the high teens and the twenties. I don't know
how that happens.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Yeah, hey man, it's the NFL. Crazy stuff happens. But
even if you end up being wrong, Jeff, I feel
like taking the under. You got it at thirty seven,
even if it doesn't hit. I think it's one of
those where you shrug your shoulders and you're like, eah,
I'm not even really mad about it. I thought that
was I walking in.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Yeah, I'll take the good number. Don't get me wrong,
but yeah, I mean, I just I yeah, I it's
not even a game I want to watch. I'm not
even sure it's gonna be up on the TV today,
Like it's not a game. I even I just have
no interest in watching to two offenses the rocks at
each other the entire game. But yeah, I mean, I
got I got a number. I'll take. I'll take get
a good numbers. I don't think it would have gone

(32:43):
to thirty five if the weather report wasn't as bad
as it was.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
I just read the weather. Yeah, I mean potential for
heavy rainfall and consistent throughout the game.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
It's a lot about the rain, guys, It's about the wind.
The wind wind is gonna happen because of the tropical
Stormmate that's heading up there. The more interesting one to
me is how the rain affects the Bills and Commander's game.
Because Buffalo can't run the ball, Washington, I think is
better running the football. Does does that create some mistakes
for Josh Allen? Does it make the field conditions bad?

(33:12):
And kind of benefits the offensive lines in this situation
because I think when when a grass field is really wet,
the offensive lines benefit a lot because we know where
we're going at the snap. We're able to adjust our
footwork to make sure it happens. Defensive lineman they don't
know what we're doing. So is it making it an
offensive line game? Which I think favors Washington a little bit?
So it's an interesting if that really affects, you know,

(33:34):
how the game go. If it's really windy, Can Sam
Hall throw the ball down the field as he's been doing.
I don't know. We'll find out.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Yeah, yeah, all right. We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year
NFL veteran Bill crack Krackenberger from crack wins dot com

All right, speaking of parlays, here we go. We each

right crack. We expect the lions share from you, bunny
as we throw down on this parlay flatter.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Always tough to beat NFL sides, but I know you
guys like to give me a like for me to
give a side once in a while here, and I'm
gonna go against what you would think would be the
home crowd, but I'll will be a lot of Pittsburgh
fans and a lot of Pittsburgh people in the stadium tonight.
Pittsburgh plus three over Las Vegas.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Okay, I didn't have not gone this line all week?
Why is there so much money on Vegas? It makes
no sense to me.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
I do sharp syndicate group out of Canada bet Vegas
earlier in a week minus one, minus one and a half,
pushed it up to two and a half, and all
of a sudden overnight it really went to three at
most of the shops.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
So I don't I have no ight. I mean, they
both can't score the football, like, and Tomlin's great as
the underdog. I don't know what the Raiders. I don't know.
I liked, Yeah, great, I'm with you here. Can I
give you one that I I I sort of regret
doing this, but I sort of think this is the
right side. Yeah, Denver plus six, okay, Like this is

(35:41):
the classic Denver zero in two Your Dolphins, Brian get
all the love in the world. Russell Wilson stinks, which
I don't think is very good Dolphins can't be stopped,
and it's a twenty seven to twenty four win for
the Dolphins. Like it just feels like one of those
games where you just hold your nose and you bet

(36:02):
the Broncos because everyone's the Dolphins and it's the right
side to take.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yeah, and also you throw in you know, my Irish
lost in heartbreaking fashion, and as a Notre Dame slash
Dolphins fan, I know that's weird. There have been many
a weekend, Jeff where it started to go downhill and
it just kept going.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Who's your baseball team?

Speaker 1 (36:25):
The Cardinals?

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Interesting, Cardinals, Dolphins Irish?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Well, I'm from South Bend. That makes sense. My dad
was born just outside of Saint Louis, so that makes sense.
The Dolphins are the only team that.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Just like as a kid, and you're like, I'm a
Dolphins fan.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Yeah, I remember them with AJ Dewey just right before
Dan Marino, but big Marino guy growing up. Okay, I'll
go with this. I'm with you, crack. I haven't threw
out a video for BETMGM earlier in the week where
I'm on Pittsburgh, so I'll take them plus three. But
I can't double up on the barlay bladder. I gotta

(37:01):
come up with something else. No no, no, no, no,
no no no, you're fine. You didn't take anything away.
I was just saying, I agree with you. I'm gonna
go with Cleveland. Like this line is yelling, please bet
the Titans, please take the three and a half and
go with Tennessee. Hey, you just saw him against the Chargers, right,
they had this really, really inspiring overtime win, and please,

(37:25):
we're begging you to take them. I just I get
real suspicious when Vegas and sports books act like they're
trying to do me a favor. And Deshaun Watson was
terrible on Monday against the Steelers. They don't have Nick Chubb,
yet they're favored by three in the hook. It just
doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But that's where
I go the other way.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
Man.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
When the sports book seem like they're trying to be
your friend, they are not. They're trying to take your cash.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
This one was four and a half too. I feel
like this is a reaction based off of the Browns, right,
and the way they play against the Steelers. And mind you,
Skiers score twice on defense and the Titans beating a
Chargers team that can't get out of their own way.
So I'm I'm with you here. Yeah, and it's a
I didn't put on my contest. I thought about it
as one of my one of my picks.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
There you go, by the way, Props to you, Jeff.
I was watching some football yesterday on the old tablet,
and before I clicked on a game, I see there's
a video with the bear, right, he's got his bed
at the day I clicked on that bear gives his pick.

Speaker 5 (38:25):
He was right.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
He took Texas's team total over thirty three and a half.
It hit, and then there's you and you took the
Koogs plus the three. That was right. But I'm watching
the bear, I'm watching you. I'm like, shout out to
Jeff Schwartz, that's great.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
The pack is what I do best. And then keep
going back back on that, back on that well as
much as possible. I watched it was my favorite wage
and they kicked organ States. But so I was felt
pretty vindicated with to getting that one right.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
No, that was it was a great play by you, man.
But props to you. That's cool man. I see your
face all over the place. And I'm like, Jeff, there
he is somehow they put me. I need you to
wear a countdown to kick OFFF Paul from now on,
give us a shu.

Speaker 5 (39:05):
The game.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
That's a whole lot more interesting than the records would indicate. Oh,
what's going on, everybody? We've got about less than two
hours to go until kickoff? What's up with my voice?
Right there? It did It's like Notre Dame's final drive yesterday. Goodness, Hey,
what's going on? That was like third and nineteen last

(39:27):
night for the Irish on defense? Goodness or not having
their right defensive end for the final two plays. It's
kind of what my voice did right there. Unbelievable. But
we're turning the page to week thirteen. How about these
two teams really intriguing game, oh and two Chargers against
the oh and two Vikings, both winless teams, and you

(39:50):
look defensively yikes, Holy cow, what's going on with these squads?
The Chargers they can't defend the pass. Their DB's have
been brutal. They got torched by Miami. They weren't better
last week either. They've been really really bad. And I
know the Vikings they're not winning any contests in terms

(40:11):
of playing great defense. Philly had their way with them,
just running the ball right down their throats. So this
is desperation time and the line has shifted back and forth.
It's kind of like pickleball or tennis. And right now
Minnesota a one point home dog.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
So I does Brands Steely get fired on the tarmac
after this game and I lose? Like, what what do
we the thing about? The Chargers guys to the Vikings
in this game, the Vikings have lost because of turnovers. Right,
they've had a really bad turnovers. They played fine otherwise,
but they've had bad turnovers. We don't turnover. Luck kind

(40:48):
of varies game to game, year to year. Right, they
don't turn the ball over, they're gonna win the game.
The Chargers are coached by defensive my head coach who
can't coach defense. Well, right, Like that's the problem. Offensively,
you're fine, but defensively, that's your job as a defensive
head coach to make your defense good. And they stink,

(41:09):
they stink. You're back on the road again, since you
basically had a twenty seven to nothing lead at halftime
against the Jacksonville Since then, in the playoffs last year.
Since then you got you lost that gon half of
that game, and you lost two more games, like they
haven't played good football and what is that now? That's
ten quarters? Basically you lost the Titans. Who you let

(41:30):
Ryan Tannehill run a speed option for a touchdown? What
are we doing? So to me, I'm on Minnesota here.
It's one of my I think it's one of my
contest picks I put in there this week. I just
don't trust the Chargers. I don't touch them on the road.
I'm not saying that Vikings are very trustworthy. But also
last year, Vikings right ten oh one score games zher
and two this year so they've had obviously regression, which

(41:51):
we expected. They're not gonna be oher to ten in
one score games this year, right like, they're gonna have
probably fifty to fifty as most teams are. So I
think the Vikings win this game. I'm fine with, uh
with just taking the Vikings and living with the results.

Speaker 5 (42:05):
Guys, what did Minnesota last year? Didn't it come out
like seven and zero or something like eight and oh
last weren't there they were like everyone thought, Wow, they're
better than they are. Of course they got shut down
I think, didn't the Giant think the Giants began the playoffs,
So listen this year too. These teams both came in
with high aspirations. Listen to Minnesota even even it's probably

(42:26):
the only bad position I have for a future. I
have a lot of futures that really look good right now,
but that was one of them. That's definitely gonna stink
it up here. One of these teams going to zero
to three. I'll just tell you I did. There's so
many points in this game. Fifty four opened up fifty one.
Bookmaker could not make it high enough because of these
defenses up to fifty four. Boy, this is gonna be

(42:49):
one just to watch. It should be. It's supposed to
be an offensive shootout. Back and forth. Both teams were
both favored by one all around this week. Back and
forth should be interesting. I'll be uh, I'm going to
see here, who's gonna go oh and three? But like
I said, both both of these teams were picked to
do so much better. Both both teams were actually picked

(43:10):
by picked by the wise guys to have better seasons too,
So this is a real big game for both teams.
You don't want to go I think oh and three,
someone to go to the playoffs of Owen three is
like twenty three and a half percent chances.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
Like, I think it's even less than that.

Speaker 5 (43:25):
Actually, if I was reading something during.

Speaker 3 (43:27):
That and I think it's I think oh and two maybe,
but I think oh and three, you're what you're You're toast.
Now obviously with the new schedule and the one extra game,
maybe it's not quite that same way. Cract do you
do you? I don't look at home for an advantage
very much, by the way I have it right here.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
Start in the NFL three, I mean right start.

Speaker 3 (43:48):
Oh and three, you make the playoffs two point five
percent of the Oh my goh god.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
Maybe it was oh and two.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
Then I ran, oh and two, it's eleven percent of
the time.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Maybe you add a little bit now that there's a
seven eighth game, but not much.

Speaker 5 (44:01):
For sure, not much.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
Yeah, Like in the NFL, I home field to me,
like in this game, maybe it's a point. I don't
think homefield matters at all in this game. I like,
I don't think this is a line where I'm like, oh, well,
the Vikings are at home. I mean, yeah, the Chargers
may play worse on the road. But they play road
games at home too. You know, like, I don't really
think this is a game where home field matters at all.

Speaker 5 (44:21):
To me, pro sports is in general home field advantage
is nothing like a collegiate game, college football, college basketball,
so especially here in Vegas with the Raiders. But people
planning their trips around coming to town for their visiting.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
A big Steelers, big Steelers crowd tonight.

Speaker 5 (44:37):
Yeah, they'll, they'll, they'll. You know what, Jeff, there might
be more Steeler people in the in the stands than Raiders, so.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
I bet they'll be louder. If there are fewer, there's
still gonna be louder. Oh yeah, yeah, Jeff, you mentioned
this game in the parlay pladder deal that we just did.
But the Broncos at the Dolphins, Broncos winless, Dolphins undefeated.
We're only two games in, but zero to two versus
two and oh, Dolphins six point favorites. And I like

(45:05):
how you broke this game down, Jeff, where you're thinking
that maybe, uh, maybe that the Broncos plus the points
is the right side, because it's just all sunshine and
rainbows for the Dolphins. They've looked fantastic, they had their
primetime win against Bill Belichick and the Patriots last week.
They had this huge performance against the Chargers in Week one,

(45:25):
and here come the Broncos. They've been kicked around the
last couple of weeks by the Raiders and the Commanders
at home, and it seems like maybe too easy of
a spot just to lay the six and go with
the Dolphins. I like how you're seeing this plus Jalen Waddle,
it's one of the the big one two punch wide
receiver guys for the Dolphins. Right, No, Jalen Waddle. You

(45:47):
still have Tyreek Hill. But is that enough against a
Broncos defense. It's they got to be better than they
were last week. And if you've got Patrick's or Tan
the second matched up on Tyreek Hill, how are you
generating a lot of offense? Who's the number two guy
that steps up and does it for the Dolphins? Those
are the big questions offensively for Miami today.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
Well, those are great, those are great football reasons, right,
Like those are I think those are actual concerns for
the Dolphin in this game. But I just go with
sort of the NFL and and the way things tend
to work, and this is the perfect spot for the
Broncos to keep this game close, like this is just
a crack keep shaking his head of the yes, like
this is the this is the this is like the

(46:28):
perfect game where you everyone's gonna be in the Dolphins.
There'll be the only favorite body. Six what and this
was six and a half? Now six? Oh wait what?
The Dolphins by six points?

Speaker 5 (46:38):
Come on?

Speaker 3 (46:38):
The Broncos stick. They lost, the Raiders lost the Commanders,
and I'm with you. I don't think the Broncos are
very good, but this is also the Dolphins are coming
off two big wins. You're back home. The Broncos stink,
but I think the football reasons why is Patricks are
ten is really good the Broncos off. I think the
Broncos defense is. I know they didn't play as well

(46:59):
last weekend, but they're good. They're a good unit. And
I just it's it's six points. It's a lot in
the NFL. This game, I think Dolphins win, but I
do know the Broncos have a great chance to cover
this one.

Speaker 5 (47:11):
You picked a good word there. I like what you said.
This is a good spot. And for sure that's exactly
right that this something stinks. Here a couple of these games,
something stinks that this is, uh, this is let me
tell you, this is a very tough Week three. But
this particular game too opened up seven six and a
half at some shops down to six. I kind of
tend toree with you there, Jeff Man.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
I just want to just point to the the fact
that when crack you say something stinks about this line,
you have a high batting average when it comes to that. Okay,
Like I remember last year it was the Saints at
the Eagles. I remember the Eagles. They ended up being
a fourteen and three team. The Eagles are really good

(47:56):
and the Saints were awful at that time. And you're like,
something stinks about this line. I don't you know in
the Saints one outright? Yeah, you know, like you have
a high batting average. You did it last week. I'm
trying to remember the game where you're like, there's just
something that thinks about this line.

Speaker 5 (48:11):
Well, when something looks too good, Jeff said the right
word something this. Let me tell you something. If you're
Joe Public, You're you're high on Miami already this season,
and Denver after losing a home to the Washington you're like,
oh my God, Miami's gonna kill him. This is easy,
you know.

Speaker 3 (48:28):
Yeah, yeah, so we'll see. It does feel that way
a lot of times in the NFL, especially college a
little bit less. So it uh, it feels a little
bit less in college football, in college in the NFL,
and the sort of thing happens.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
Yeah, I cannot pinpoint the game, but it happened last
week and you were on the right side. Hey quickly,
by the way, how about this Titans Browns game where
we hit on this again in the Parlay Ladder. I
like the Browns minus three and a half. It just
feels like the sports books are trying hey buddy, hey, hey,
come here. You know they tell you don't talk to strangers.

Speaker 5 (49:05):
That's bs.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Come talk to me. I'm your friend. And it's like,
wait a minute, that van has no windows. This is weird.
I'm out of here. Right like that, That's what it
feels like with three and a half, right, that's what
it feels exactly like we just saw. The Titans is
a great win against the Chargers last week. Do you
trust Hannehill on the road against a pretty good Brown's defense.

(49:26):
It's not just about Deshaun Watson, right like it might
be a low scoring game, but I don't know if
you trust Hannahill and if Dereck Henry is held in check.
The Browns run defense been pretty good so far. Like
that's where I get real suspicious and cautious that you're
trying to be my friend and do me a favor.
I don't buy it.

Speaker 3 (49:44):
I just really don't like being on the side that
is not Mike Rabel Oh wow, Like because you like
Tennessee man, like they they just they're just a tough
team to bet against, you know, like they just the

(50:06):
way they play defense, the physicality and the run game.
Tannael seems to just do enough. I don't think he's
a good quarterback. I have his under. I bet it's
under today. I have a season total under. Like I'm
all under round Tennhill. But they just do enough. And
the Browns Deshaun Watson guys, has not looked very good
and I think there's a legit concern about his ability

(50:28):
to play the game at the level he used to
play at. And if that is the case, then they're
gonna have a hard time doing much on offense in
this game. That's why the the three and a half,
oh No, it. It worries me to bet against the Titans.
I just don't like doing it.

Speaker 5 (50:49):
There's wise guys on both sides of this game. You know.
It's funny the two sportsbooks that open the lines. One
opened up at pick them, the other opened up four.
So just think about that. That does happened in the NFL.
They don't know who to make. They didn't know what
to make this line when it came out, So it's
kind of interesting. This guy, this is Jeff. Let me

(51:09):
ask you and the bear throwing your podcast this week?
Did I see something or hears something or read something.
I think that's one of his big He likes Cleveland, right,
he likes you know, I guess this. This is a
funny line. Man. Something's going on here and.

Speaker 3 (51:23):
That's what this is. He said, they're begging you to
take the tenness things here. Yeah, beg you take and
has not come off three and a half. It won't
come off three and a half today. They're just begging
you to do it.

Speaker 1 (51:35):
Yeah, yeah, that's I hear you, Jeff Unvrabel. That is
a team. It's like your shadow, you know, you try
to run away from your shadow and it's just there.
That's the Titans. Man, they're just a nuisance, especially early
in the season where their physical style hasn't like started
to wear them down. I feel like they wear down
in some seasons. This is week three, you know, and

(51:58):
they're just a pain.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
They're a pain.

Speaker 1 (52:00):
I get it why you don't love going on the
other side. But man, I just look at that you
talked about last week, Jeff, that Titans offensive line that's
banged up. I mean, how well are they going to
be able to run the ball against a Browns defense
that's sneaky talented. That's a good defense talent wise, and
they've defended the rush pretty well. The Steelers couldn't run

(52:22):
the ball at all on them last week.

Speaker 3 (52:23):
Steelers can't do anything on offense. And there's a report
I saw today floating out that the offensive corner of
Matt Canada is now being more involved with the quarterbacks.
Isn't it truly your job? So I don't know, the
Sooners are just a wreck offensively.

Speaker 5 (52:36):
I don't they better do something tonight.

Speaker 3 (52:38):
Yeah, I don't know how to judge, you know, playing
against them as your defense, but this is a rock
fight game. I I couldee the under hitting here again,
like a lot of these games this weekend. Yeah, that
line does feel super fishy.

Speaker 1 (52:54):

Speaker 4 (54:56):
Prop it up player plays.

Speaker 1 (55:00):
Yes, you remember?

Speaker 5 (55:01):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (55:03):
Was it like Scrooge McDuck. That was like swimming the
cartoon in all that money, like all the coins and
stuff like that. That's why I feel with prop bets
and I feel like I'm doing the backstroke and just
prop bet tickets. You know what I mean? Crack, I
know you're a itching to start this thing off. Man,
what do you like here today?

Speaker 5 (55:21):
I'm gonna go with this is the third biginning round here,
Mac Jones under two eleven and a half passing yards. Listen,
this is a bad weather, bad matchup. I understand he
had a ton of attent, a ton of attempts. Those
little dink and dunk passes underneath may work, But I
still like the under here under two eleven and a
half passing yards for Mac Jones.

Speaker 3 (55:43):
I'm going under one seventy seven and a half for
Zach Wilson this game too. Loo. I just again, I
don't know what Bill Belichick does on defense. He is
if you have one wide receiver like here at Wilson,
well he'll do double him right, He'll bracket right, so
you'll put a corner on him, and they'll kind of

(56:03):
have a safety eye him right the bracket them in
and it puts Chris kan Zalez, their number one corner
on your second best player and wide receiver. And so
now he has two guys shut down. I don't know
how to throw for a lot of the yards in
this game. Also, Dwayne Brown is out there left tackle.
The Jets tackles out is on I R now, so
the tet Zach Wilson. So I took the under for

(56:25):
Zach Wilson. Remember, I like these low totals for the
quarterback and just go under, like I don't know, I
think everyone's afraid to hit you to go under on
these numbers. They're low for a reason because people don't
expect they can expect them to throw for a lot
of yards.

Speaker 1 (56:38):
Yeah, what was it for Wilson? Again, Jeff, I.

Speaker 3 (56:42):
Bet MGM right now has one seventy seven and a half.

Speaker 5 (56:45):
Oh wow, Okay, that's exactly what I weigh perfect.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
Sorry same here, buddy, sorry, same.

Speaker 5 (56:52):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
I'm looking at Justin Fields, the Bears quarterback, and the
week of chaos it is been for Chicago, my lord.
But one of the things among many that Justin Fields
has said this week is my goal this week is
just to say effitt and go out there and play
football how I know how to play football. That to
me means running a lot more. And I'm looking at

(57:16):
his rushing prop. It's at fifty nine and a half,
which sounds like this, he's got to get the sixty
yards rushing. Yeah, I'll take it. Because he talked about
being too robotic and maybe that has something to do
with coaching. And then he's like, hey, you media, you're
taking my stuff out of Context's like, no, man, that's
what you said. But anyway, what's most important is he

(57:37):
wants to start thinking less and playing more. And I
think that's going to be reactionary and that's going to
mean more running. It's going to be more instinctual. He
only had four rushes for three yards last week. I
think this is a good spot because most people are
selling everything related to the Bears for mostly good reason.
But I think this rushing prop will hit. I think

(57:59):
he gets the sick the yards rushing today.

Speaker 3 (58:02):
The Chiefs are going to blitz him every single play
of this game. There's a chance they missed one time,
and he runs for the big game. Like you said,
you're you're very good at at like quarterback rushing props.
I feel like that, like that is your jam. You've
hit those each and every week we talked about you.
Who's the one you hit the other day? Was it
Mahomes you hit like right away, like immediately you hit

(58:24):
that one. So I like when you like, I like
when you you play these these quarterback props.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
Yeah, thanks, man, I appreciate that. That was Week one
against the Lions and Mahomes boom right away. Yeah, So
I'm I'm looking at that, and you might also, Jeff,
you hit on something right there. You might want to look.
I'll look it up for you real fast. Justin Field's
longest rush of the day normally they're around like, you know,
fourteen fifteen ish yards. I can see him like easily

(58:53):
hitting that over. I think that's something else to keep
in mind. What else, Crack, you got a ton of
these bets. We want to pick your brain a little
bit more. What do you out today?

Speaker 5 (59:00):
You know what's funny, I could show you my list
right now on September twenty third, which whatever there is
that yesterday I actually did play Justin Fields over it
was situational, was a real good line here in town,
justin Field's over rushing yards. So speaking of that also,
like you know, listen, I know he looks terrible. I

(59:21):
know he looks terrible. You know they gave him a
quarter of a billion doll and how much money they
gave Watson, But there was a lot of money. I
just put a tweet up about these quarterbacks made all
this money. Watson. I think he's gonna have a lot
of passing attempts. Again, maybe not the yardage because I
just I did go over on his yardage the other
night and barely went over and got there. But I

(59:42):
like over attempts on him thirty and a half. There's
so many I like. I think I just sent you
guys some some other ones. But I'm gonna have one
later on that I really like, and it involves rushing
yards for a quarterback. I'll give it out towards the end.
Towards the end of the show.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
There you go, look at that teasing to bet to
come later. I love that.

Speaker 5 (01:00:03):
I send it to you guys, though you could fire
down before the line moves.

Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
There you go, That's what I like to hear. By
the way in about an hour from now, Jeff, you
and I were on a quest Oh yeah, earn cracks.

Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
Respect. It's hard to do, guys. I'll tell you this.
You know, it's amazing you're saying this. Someone texts me
throughout the week that's a real good media source, and
he's like, hey, I heard about that thing. He said,
you guys are they're going to give him five games
a week. One of the hardest things to do against
the spread, uh winning five winning, having a winning record.
I said, yeah, he said that on multiple shows. But

(01:00:35):
you guys are after it, and I'm rooting for one
of you guys wealthy, but.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
We're doing it. We're doing it though different than like
we're not doing contact specs. We're just taking this five
minutes before it asks.

Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
Oh yeah, just think it's the little hardest thing to
do pick five games five minutes or ten minutes before
the games go off.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Oh boy, I'd be very happy if it was just
like you know, if it was just like you know,
if we got.

Speaker 5 (01:00:57):
To yeah, well fifty three is going to be a winner.
So either one of you guys get this, you'll get
a nice RFB in Vegas. Here on me, I'll get
your room with the win and three Knight's food. Also
all right there you go by the.

Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
Way hackers down in Actave's just out now they're down.
Aaron Jones again, David Boctiari, Christian Watson, Angie, Alexander oh Man.

Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
That's a lot right there.

Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
And I like them. This week it's the Saints because
the Saints I don't think are very good. But when
you have your best all your players, your best players out,
kind of hard to win a football game.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
Right it's another teas game. Low total forty one and
a half, and uh, you know, I kind of lean
to New Orleans with the going through the key numbers
of seven and three. As a matter of fact, guys,
as we speak, it's unbelievable. This is like the gods
told you to talk about this game. As we speak,
there's a two point move on this game. The big

(01:01:51):
sports book that moves the lines just went from Green
Bay minus one to New Orleans minus one. So forget
about that teaser.

Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
So much money has to come in for that gee,
a ton, even.

Speaker 5 (01:01:59):
Though around one and the zero which is worth nothing,
A ton of money has to come in to go
from one to one the other way, even it could
be pick them. But this is very interesting the Saints.
Now you'll see here in about the next five minutes,
the Saints are gonna be moving everywhere. The two big
books that move lines and everyone follows just move down.
One went from one to pick them. The other one

(01:02:20):
went from Green Bay minus one to New Orleans minus
one minus fifteen. Very interesting. Lots of money, lots of
money coming in on the Saints here, so very interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
I know that this is not a fantasy football show,
but I just checked my lineup. I do this every Sunday.
I don't really pay attention. I just play for fun.
Is it good if your team has is your team
has has Waddle Eckler and Christian Watson on it right now?
Is that a good thing or bad? Because I go, Tom,
I supposed what am I supposed to do?

Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
How do you?

Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
I don't have enough players to play.

Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
Than's like being in the suicide pool and you're like,
I've used all the teams that I want to use
this way?

Speaker 5 (01:02:57):
What do I do?

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
How do I I don't have enough players to put
it in my lineup right now? My otherwise, I have
Darius Tony, who's questionable. If I don't. If he doesn't play,
I don't have enough players to put into my lineup
for this week. What am I gonna do?

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Can you just pick up someone on the waiver wire
and stash one on the bench or.

Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
Yeah, I mean I surely can, but like I even
know what jeez?

Speaker 5 (01:03:20):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
Yeah, that's not that's not great. Ideal, No, definitely not ideal. Hey,
we'll get to a game coming up next. Not ideal
weather conditions first though, it is ideal. Every time we
hear from one Dan Bayer, who's gracing us with his
presence today? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
Dan?

Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
Hey? Brian?

Speaker 7 (01:03:36):
Yeah, Jeff had the inactives for Green Bay. Others pouring
in as well. Jaguars playing with the wide receiver is
a Jones today against the Texans, Bronco's and Dolphins playing
one o'clock Eastern time start. We knew Jalen Waddle, as
Jeff said, out with a concussion. Broncos will not have
safety Justin Simmons. He is inactive today now. The Bears
and Chiefs play at four to twenty five Eastern time.

(01:03:58):
Yespano reports at the actions that led Alan Williams to
resign as the Bears defensive coordinator earlier this week had
no criminal ties, but the actions didn't involve the h
R department of the Chicago Bears. As for the chief
side of things, running back as Aa Pacheco should play
despite a hamstring injury. Panthers and Seahawks a bit later
today four or five Eastern time. Wide receiver DK Metcalf

(01:04:21):
expected to go for the Seahawks despite a rib issue.
Some conflicting reports on how long Bryce Young could be
out with the Panthers, but the Chargers and Vikings play
today one o'clock Eastern time.

Speaker 3 (01:04:33):
No cam Akers. Kevin O'Connell said he wasn't likely going to.

Speaker 7 (01:04:36):
Make his Vikings debut this week anyway, He is officially inactive.
NFL Network speculating that Austin Eckler, not only is he
inactive today, could also miss week four because the Chargers
have a bye.

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
In week five.

Speaker 7 (01:04:48):
Looking way ahead to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas,
Super Bowl fifty eight, Usher will headline the Apple Music
halftime show Guys, Back to You.

Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
Thank You Dan.

Speaker 1 (01:04:59):
It is Fox Sports Videos Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM. So we've got the bills at the Commanders
and you've got this line has moved quite a bit
as well. Right now as we speak, we've got Washington.
They're a five and a half point underdog right now
on BETMGM.

Speaker 5 (01:05:17):
Jeff.

Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
You mentioned the weather is a little shaky and we're
gonna get a little bit of rain. The Bills can't
run the ball, so this is on Josh Allen and
can he protect the football. Something else to keep in
mind if you look at the offenses, a lot of
sacks been given up. Commanders they have ten sacks, right
They sacked Russell Wilson a bunch of times last week.

(01:05:40):
They have ten sacks, so they get after the quarterback,
but they've also given up ten sacks on the year.
Sam Howell takes a lot of sacks, doesn't get rid
of the football. So something to keep in mind there
as well. When you might be playing in the elements
a bit. You think back to Week one against Arizona.
There were elements in that game as well as raining

(01:06:00):
pretty hard for some of that matchup. But we'll see
if Josh Allen, who very under the radar, very sneaky
performance last week against the Raiders where he protected the football,
made a lot of plays, had a great game. We
still have that primetime Week one disaster is still at
the forefront of our minds, but we'll see it for

(01:06:20):
a second straight week. Josh Allen can make plays while
protecting the football and not giving it to the commanders.

Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Here, I don't know what to think of the Bills.

Speaker 5 (01:06:31):
Right from Week one to week two.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
Yeah, just in general, Like, I don't know, Josh Allen.
It feels like has gone reverted back to some yolo football, right, yeah,
but it's not like when he was a young player.
But it's too much for how good he is now, right,
So there's like that fine line between like is this
the game when Washington's pressure ends up getting him to

(01:06:54):
yolo the ball, which obviously that means that's not good, right,
I mean, I mean that's when he makes mistakes, you know,
the sam how things interesting, But like, is that gonna act?
Is that gonna end up being something that he can
play against a playoff caliber team? You know, they played
the Broncos so far, and the Cardinals a little different
than playing the Bills, right, but the Bills passtrust though,

(01:07:17):
is not the best. So there's a kind of unknowns
for me. I think from a Gallic perspective, I would
lean toward taking the home team and the points. But
Buffalo does tend to win games and cover them by
a decent margin rather than sort of like winning close
games and not covering, if that makes sense. That's just
kind of their m over the years. So if you

(01:07:37):
think Buffalo is gonna win this game, a win and
a cover is sort of how they do things. They
just outright lose a lot of times, don't cover like
they That's sort of how they've played the last couple
of years. So if you think Washington's gonna win, I
might even put a little sprinkle on the money line.
If you think Washingt's gonna cover, I'd sprinkle the money line.
If you think Buffalo is gonna win, just take Buffalo

(01:07:59):
and the points.

Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
That's the only point that Jeff that that's a good
point Jeff makes there. That's the old uh, you know,
the old pros. They always I said pros. I've been
talking about sports betting pros. They would on an underdog,
they would bet. Let's say you bet one hundred bucks
on the game, you bet ten percent of that on
the money line. Also, so you bet if you bet
one hundred bucks there you bet throw ten bucks on

(01:08:20):
the on the that only worked with the underdog home
underdog money line at spreads like this, So not really,
I don't really do it enough, probably, but I really
don't bet like you guys know a lot of sides.
But that's that's something to do here. But you make
a good point about also Washington playing Buffalo here. Buffalo,

(01:08:41):
they aren't the Cardinals or the Broncos, so that makes
a very good point here. This is a good opportunity here.
They should be able to Buffalo should be able to
run the ball on them. I think Washington's like twenty
fourth on run defense, so they should be able to
the Buffalo should be able to run the ball on
them a lot. And and you know Commanders are two

(01:09:02):
and oh. Imagine a three and oh Commanders team, which
people didn't expect much out of this year. So that'll
be the first time there three and oh start of
season since two thousand and five. So but then again,
that being said, this game opened up six and a half,
and six is everywhere. There's none of them left. It's
all five fives and five and a half. So Washington

(01:09:23):
getting a little bit of love at home. But again
we're gonna see where this Buffalo team is. They looked
much better than Week one in Week two. This is
a real I'm staying away from this game interested to
see what happens, and it wouldn't surprise me either way.
Buffalo blowout Washington's squeak win at the end. Either one
wouldn't surprise me.

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Yeah, And I would also I do this a lot
with teams and players. I would think more over the
course of the season than just from last week. Like
Sam Howell in particular, he played well against the Broncos,
played really well. But what you just said there, Jeff,
it's like, what do you expect from Sam Howell throughout
the course of the season. You know, he's gonna have

(01:10:04):
some really good games, He's gonna have some good performances,
But over the long haul, it reminds me a lot
of Taylor Heineke.

Speaker 5 (01:10:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:10:10):
Heineke had some great weeks from time to time, and
then you look at the end of the season and
you're like, it's pretty much average all across the board. Well,
to balance out the really good performances, you have some
stinkers here and there. So I think it's really important
to keep that in mind. It's not just about hey,
he looked great, I'm going to run to the window
and bet him again or whatever. There are certain teams.

(01:10:31):
The Titans looked great last week, they might not look
so great today. So I would think over the course
of the season instead of what happened in week two,
and what's influencing you the most.

Speaker 3 (01:10:42):
Absolutely one more inactive that I saw right now, by
the way it just came out. This is something we
talked about earlier about the Chargers. J. C. Jackson, who
signed a five year deal for eighty two million dollars,
is a healthy and active But how did Stanley keeper's job? Guys,
how do you wager the charger of this game? Understand?
How you trust them at all at anytime?

Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
A healthy inactive?

Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
Healthy inactive? Yeah, a healthy scratch.

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
Yeah, that's that's a different category right here. There's no doubt. Hey,
bet MGM is now available under one wallet in select states.
For example, if you're in the DMV area, no need
to worry about making separate accounts for DC, Maryland and
Virginia when crossing state borders. Simply log on to your
existing account instead of creating a new one. All right,
we've got Jeff Schwartz doing a fantastic job with the Bear.

Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Podcasted it up, check it out. Yeah, very cool. We've
got Bill Crack Krackenberger from crack wins dot com sports handicapper. Crack,
you're doing all these hits too, right, You're not just
going to count down to kickoff. You're all over?

Speaker 5 (01:11:46):
I am, I am. Yeah. I have my own podcast
and also do some appearances on Las Vegas Radio here,
which is actually I say Las Vegas is nation Wie radio,
but Brent Mosberger's network here, and uh yeah, I do
some things with some hits a week. A lot of
our gott leave every week, just like you guys doing
some Fox hits. Yeah, it's amazing what has opened up

(01:12:06):
here compared to years ago in this census media opportunities.
Very good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
You're like Dion Sanders, I ain't hard to find. It's
you Crack. I feel like that could be your slogan
as well. I'm Brian though. Coming up next crack same
game parlay.

Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
You know, I love this.

Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
It's correlated. I love when he throws that it's all correlated.
We'll see what he's correlating today. It's Fox Sports Radios.
Countdown to Kickoff presented by betmgm. It is Fox Sports

do this.

Speaker 4 (01:13:15):
Same game, Carlans.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
All right, crack, we're looking for a same gamer from you.
What do you like today?

Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
Okay? I built one on the bet mgm app. Let's
look at, of course, a correlated one under seventeen and
a half in the Jets game. In the first half
under Jones passing yards to nineteen and a half and
under Lazard receiving yards forty four and a half. And

(01:13:43):
it looks like fifty bucks, get you back two hundred
and ten. Actually it's plus two ten, so two six
of you get back there.

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
You go, okay, so you got under under under Yeah,
and then you know, as I speaking and a half,
is that what you said, yep, as.

Speaker 5 (01:13:56):
We speak, unbelievably some over money coming on the Jets
game from thirty five to thirty five and a half.
And I say unbelievably, it's truly not unbelievable because that's
the lowest total of the year, might be the lowest
total of the last three years.

Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
So here we go, just announced to the Jets are
moving three offensive linemen to account for one guy, big
out Dwayne Brown is out. They move mckaid Beckton from
right tackle to left tackle. They move Elijah Farrah Tucker
from right guard to right tackle, and they put Joe Tipman,
the big old offensive lineman they drafted from Wisconsin's like

(01:14:29):
a six to sixth center to right guard. And that's
called bad football. It's called bad football. When one offensive
lineman is out, you ideally just put one guy in
and then scheme around those issues when you move all
these guys around again. Elijah Bidy Tucker played right tackle
last year. Beckdon played left tackle in college and a
little bit in the preseason. They haven't done it this season.

(01:14:52):
Eladie mccudd has been a right guard all season. Beckton's
been primarily right tackle. Who's for the regular season. He's
played well there him and hasn't played yet. And now
you're gonna put them all in there and say, hey,
runner off, it's against Bill Belichick and the Patriots. What
are we What are we doing? Guys? Just put a
new left tackle in and say, you know what, We'll
help you. We'll put a tight end, We'll give you
a running back to slide to you. That's what the

(01:15:14):
best teams do, Like the Eagles when they lose a guy,
just put another guy in and say we'll we'll make
it work. We'll scheme around you, right like, well, we'll.
It's it's bad football, guys, it's bad football.

Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
You know what's crazy too? Jeff Is Dwayne Brown has
had a rough start to the season.

Speaker 5 (01:15:29):
He's thirty eight or like he's old. What do you
expect to happen?

Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
He's older than me, and I feel like crap.

Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
When I woke up this morning. His past black win
rate is the worst among all tackles two games in.
And to your point, I think what they're doing with
Dwayne Brown out is worse. I think it puts them
in a worse possession compared to if he were able
to play today. Right, Like all this shifting around from
all right, you're on the you're just playing left tackle today.

(01:15:57):
That's not like saying, hey, I don't know it would
be a good example. Hey, uh, Travis Kelsey, instead of
being on the left side of the lot, you're on
the right side of the line on display. Okay, cool,
no problem, Like that's not what it is to play
offensive lineman. Man, completely different it is.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
And so well, uh, we'll see what goes for them today.
I think I think we don't spec a lot of
points out obviously.

Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
By the way, crack, how many first half plays have
you had so far this year? Because you were very
active last year?

Speaker 5 (01:16:26):
Last year was a much more active year. Yeah, you're right.
I've probably had three or four, not a lot compared
to I like betting first half overs to be play
a lot of games. Yeah, I think a lot of
teams may pull up on that fourth quarter, a lot
of them. But then again, look, look what happened this year,
this particular year, you've had Week one, every game sloppy football, ridiculous,

(01:16:49):
you know, points everywhere. Then the opposite happened where they
made the bookmakers made the lines two a little bit
too high and the unders. Now if this week we've
returned to the mean. So I'm sure as the season
progresses and goes on, we will definitely have some more
first half over script point Brian.

Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
Yeah, thanks, Mabe, are you still on the under first half?

Speaker 5 (01:17:08):
Well on the Jet game just situationally, but thirty five
points for a game to go over? Wow, that that
can happen by accident. So we'll see what happens here
for the full game. And yeah, that should be some
little bit sloppy football too. It should be fun to
watch dom all.

Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Right, coming up next? This quarterback has been clean? Does
that change today?

Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
What's going on? Everybody? We are only about fifty eight
minutes away from kickoff here on Fox Sports Radios. Countdown
to Kickoff presented by Bett MGM. This Saints Packers game
a lot of line movement and Dan Byer just mentioned
all these injuries for the Packers. Something else to keep
in mind. Jordan Love, He's protected the football, no interceptions

(01:17:53):
so far this season. But you think about everyone that's
gonna be missing this game. No Baktiari, no Christian Watson,
no Aaron Jones. That's a lot right there. No JayR Alexander.
Maybe you're playing from behind right in this game. I
don't know that we're gonna have zero interceptions for Jordan
Love this season. At the end of the day, I

(01:18:14):
can see his first pick coming.

Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
Well they have. They were missing these guys last week,
right and move the ball? Okay, and the Falcons like
they were fine moving the ball. The Saints defense is
a little bit different, but they prepare without them all week,
so you hope they figure it out. But this is
the way I feel about this game is more of
it like an Anti Saints take. Like the Saints. I
know we have our little wager here. I'm gonna lose

(01:18:39):
that wager. I think there are any good like Derek
Carr is the most average quarterback.

Speaker 5 (01:18:46):
Of all time, million bucks for years.

Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
Their defense is good. I get that, but look, I
don't really on the road in Green Bay, man, I
don't know. It's Green Bay's first home game of the season.
I think green Bay takes this down. I know everyone's
going to spoot about all the injuries and whatnot, which
is totally fair to have, but I don't see it, Brian.
I think the Packers take this one down.

Speaker 5 (01:19:10):
This is one of those games, you know, either way,
Like since we've been on air, I told you this
game moved a full point. I seen the first two
sportsbooks indicators that there was going to go the other way.
I see now even New Orleans minus one and a half.
I don't know, man, it looks like a good opportunity
for a tease either way. Now, of course, the green
Bay way at home, bringing it through the key numbers

(01:19:31):
of three and seven, you can actually, you know, you'd
have to do a six and a half point teaser.
But there is one and a half's here in town.
So the Saints defenses look really too, you know, pretty
good in the first two games, just just the matter
of the offense clicking. But I have green Bay over
season wins over seven and a half, so I'll be
rooting for them. You know, in the game New Orleans

(01:19:53):
is I shouldn't have everything from the game. I'm the season,
but I'll tell you I just don't trust Derek Carr.
He looked like a deer in headlights the other night.
He was looking to blame other people when it was
his own fault a couple times. Like I said, it
didn't mean to interrupt you there, that's actually I was
looking at. Jones has a four year, one hundred and
sixty million dollar contract, and then Carr has a four year,

(01:20:16):
one hundred and fifty million Wow. I just wish these
agents were I wish their agents were my agent. That's real.
That's unbelievable. But yeah, anyway, go ahead, go ahead, I'm done.
I'm done.

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
No, no, no, you're good.

Speaker 5 (01:20:26):
Greg.

Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
I hear you, guys, And I'm not gonna make Derek
Carr out to be, you know, even a top ten guy.
But it's just interesting how we feel about certain guys
where if you look at Derek Carr, if you compare
him to some other quarterbacks, Sam Howell right for the
Washington Commanders, He's played pretty well so far. I don't
think anybody's oh Sam Howell, this guy's the top ten guy.

(01:20:48):
He's around Derek carr Ish territory or think about Ryan Tannehill.
I look at Derek Carr like a a souped up
Ryan Tannehill. He's better than Tannehill. Not by leaps and bounds,
but he's better. If you look at Tannehill, no one's
just ooing and eyeing about him. But if you play
solid defense like the Titans do, you're gonna be in

(01:21:10):
ball games. That's how I look at the Saints in
this matchup against Green Bay. Is the Saints defense coupled
with Derek Carr good enough to win a game on
the road. Absolutely, So I understand why you wouldn't feel
great about it. But I think at the end of
the day, there are many ways to win games and
you don't have to have a top flight quarterback to

(01:21:30):
do it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:32):
You don't. But I think we view older quarterbacks like
Carr going to the Saints as sort of a we
brought him in to win championships and win and win,
and it's just he just not that quarterback totally. And
that's the way we view Sam Halle was a lower
round draft pick, and we view him in the lens
of that draft pick, right, Yeah, I mean it just

(01:21:56):
Car is just it's just like you never bet on
the Saints go like, you know, what do it with
Derek Carr? You know, you just don't you do it
because of the way that the team plays.

Speaker 1 (01:22:07):
I think that's what you do exactly. It's like, hey, Sam,
howe fifth round pick? Like, look this guy not bad, huh? Like,
and you look at Derek Carr, crack rolled out the numbers.
You threw him out like one hundred and fifty million
dollars over four years. You're like, oh my gosh, so
you said it, Jeff the Lens. Like, at the end
of the day, it's about production, no matter like how

(01:22:28):
you feel about a dude, is this guy overpaid? Is
this guy a fifth rounder? It's about who's producing what.
And I think a lot of times you got to
put those feelings to the side and just look at production.
It's just flat out production. And who's gonna end up
winning based on that?

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
It is? And again I could see the Saints winning
because of the things you mentioned, just the problems with
the packer's depth right now and a lot of guys out. Again,
I just no, Derek Carr on the road and outside
is not like something I like wagerone very often.

Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
Yeah, Hey, hey, no problem with that one other thing
to throw out there, Jordan Love fourth quarter at Atlanta
last week, zero for five in the fourth quarter. It's
bad so that that's something else to keep in the
back of your mind because it could be a close
game here today, very close.

Speaker 5 (01:23:13):
With the you're supposed to improve with each game. You
would think after last season, he had had a couple
of good, uh good plays last season. I'm surprised that. Yeah,
he's kind off not the best start.

Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
So I was pretty disappointed in their performance in the
fourth quarter. They're twenty four fourth, They're up twenty four
to twelve in the fourth quarter and lost in Falcon
that kicked two field goals. Like it's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
Yeah, that's not good. I think we're the three amigos
on this Sunday night game, right, Steelers at the Raiders,
both teams one and one, Raiders favored by three. A
lot of line movement, crackn of line.

Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
Move This game went from literally Pittsburgh opened up one
and a half here at the sportsbook in town here
circa that opens the lines for a lot of the
a lot of the times, and it moved four and
a half points. Now they're minus three at that's sportsbook
and minus three everywhere. So three amigos and steal that
old song. We will all go down together hopefully.

Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
Is there a song about three amigos that profit handsomely together?

Speaker 3 (01:24:17):
We'll do that, I believe. Combined in the four games
these offenses have played, they've scored a total of five
touchdowns have three in the offense touchdowns and Steers have two.
So it's just an ettrician thing, like who can get
through this game? The thing about the Steelers though, is

(01:24:38):
that you know Tomlin is so good as underdog. I
don't know why he just as great in the situation.
I don't know if his teams are more motivated and
if his teams are just the bookmakers just should never
make him a big underdog or any underdog at all.
But this is a spot historically that that Tomlin's teams

(01:25:03):
have covered one and covered in.

Speaker 1 (01:25:06):
Yeah, that's the weird thing. I'm trying to figure out why.
What's the case for all the line movement? Is this
just a Steelers fade because their offense was bad against
the Browns? I mean, like, really, what what else is
It's not like t J. Watt is out coupled with
Naji Harris, coupled with their left tackle, coupled with you
know what I mean, like, what are we doing? I
don't understand why this swarm of money has come in

(01:25:28):
on the Raiders side.

Speaker 5 (01:25:29):
The primetime Sunday Night Las Vegas Raiders, Baby, Baby, I guess,
I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:25:35):
Oh man, it's just like that makes a whole lot
of sense.

Speaker 5 (01:25:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is uh. And then when when
things don't make sense, speak careful. Yeah, yeah, this is
the NFL. Don't forget one to your bankroll. You're gambling bankroll,
not the bankroll you go out with the dinner, take
your wife on vacation, and gambling allotted bankroll. Now, I

(01:25:58):
know on my East Coast New York, Philly, Boston, guys
are all like crack, are you out of your mind?
I got a thousand bucks today. The betting free games
three thirty each. That's the way it works, you know,
thirty three percent each, I know, I know, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:26:12):
And what is that remaining money on a three game?
Like money line party?

Speaker 5 (01:26:17):
The extra sawbuck on the three team Yeah, money line
underlog teasers to get some parlay. But that that's true too,
you know, No matter what I say, you say, Jeff says,
no matter what, you have to learn on your own.
You have to learn on your own. I'm about to
put a tweet up about that, some kids saying he
dropped out of school and he's doing great and betting

(01:26:39):
sports these shows like five hundred bucks. I was like,
no way, this can't be real. These kids, man, this
under thirty crowd that's on these Twitter mostly TikTok and
and Instagram, they just have visions of grandeur. They watch
these guys with these fancy cars. They're all scammers, liars,
Charlotte and Snake, all salesman. They wrapped up in one.

(01:26:59):
So that's not the way it works. Guys, one to
two percent of your bankroll. It's not fun. But then again,
we're here to make money. We're not here just to
have fun and blow our money betting thirty three percent
per per game of our bankroll. So oh crackt.

Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
They have an algorithm and they're selling it.

Speaker 5 (01:27:14):
Yeah on their webs I know.

Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
So you have to.

Speaker 5 (01:27:17):
You have to.

Speaker 3 (01:27:18):
You have to think they're gonna they're gonna hit with
the algorithm.

Speaker 5 (01:27:20):
Yeah, yeah, sure, I know algorithms from algorithm. I've had
these listen it takes a loser to become a winner.
You can't just be a You're not come out of
the wound a winner. I literally was a loser and
a sucker. I grew up in North Jersey, New York.
You know, listen, I'm Jews and Italians. That's my family.

(01:27:40):
We're all betting since we're ten years old, nine years old,
five years old. My father was taking me to racetracks.
He didn't know any better, even though it was twenty
five percent thirty percent rake take out for the for
the house. So it takes a lot of losing to
be a winner. And that's what I'm trying to preach here.
I want people to learn off my thirty years of
pro gambling. Uh, you know, instead of having the you know,
do it yourself and go through it. But I know what,

(01:28:02):
Like I said, I know what happens no matter what,
you still have to learn on your own. But just
be careful, that's all. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
And hey, last thing on the Steelers and Raiders. The
Raiders might end up being the right side. It's the NFL.
Crazy stuff happens all the time. I don't make it
sound like the Raiders have no chance whatsoever. I just
don't understand all the line movement, Like the line movement
doesn't make sense to me. Where if you could point to, hey,
the injury bug has just ravaged the Steelers. Okay, all right, something.

(01:28:33):
I think it's just an auto fade because the Steelers
look bad on Monday night. That's the only thing I
can really wrap my arms around to explain this. Yeah,
why it's moved so much, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:28:44):
Primetime game to primetime game something. You're right. Sometimes people
see the primetime and they say, wow, this seems terrible
off one performance on an NFL game. It really means
a small little you know less than you think you know.

Speaker 1 (01:28:56):
What's funny too, guys? Is the Raiders last week not good?
Most of the Bills thirty eight to ten. Okay, Josh Jacobs,
who led the league in rushing last season, nine attempts
for negative two yards.

Speaker 3 (01:29:09):
I don't think anyone watched that game.

Speaker 1 (01:29:11):
No one did, right, You are right about that so
early window on a Sunday. Yeah, it got it totally
flew under the radar. But Kenny Pickett, don't get me wrong,
he was rough. It was rough against the Browns. But
I'll be interested to see the Sunday night game. There's
no doubt about that. We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year

(01:29:33):
NFL veteran. We've got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com
sports handicapper. I'm Brian No coming up next, the only
matchup this week featuring two unbeaten teams. Didn't see this
one coming. We'll hit on that and more. It is
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bettmgm. Oh
we are just thirty eight minutes away from kickoff. It

(01:29:56):
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett
mg Once a day, play bet MGMs free to play
eight Bit Barry for a chance to win daily prizes.
Play as Hall of Famer Barry Sanders and choose to spin,
stiff arm or juke your way to the end zone
to win prizes. If Barry scores a touchdown, you score
a reward. Okay, so we get this stupid Monday night

(01:30:20):
doubleheader again. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Not a doubleheader staggered
start times where they're trying to recreate the feel of
numerous games going on Sunday. Yeah for doing that on Monday.

Speaker 3 (01:30:32):
So I will be breaking my fast on my young
kie pore fast. It starts tonight tomorrow before the football game,
so I'll be my belly will be full of food
again before we begin the games tomorrow. So anyone's fasting,
by the way, I have a good fast. I'll start tonight.
I'll miss the first half of that game tonight, but
I'll be eating fast. I'm sure you will, but I will.

(01:30:56):
But nonetheless, I have taken the bait, guys, taking the bit.
I took the Eagles minus four and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:31:02):
It's not five.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
Okay, I don't get this at all. It makes no
sense to me.

Speaker 1 (01:31:07):
By the way, Jeff, this is the only game featuring
two unbeaten teams, the Eagles and Tampa Bay seven.

Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
It's about to four and a half five. Now, I
don't get it. Guys.

Speaker 5 (01:31:21):
I know that.

Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
You know there's not always football reasons for why lines
are set the way they are. I get that. I
mean there are power ratings that's done for a reason.
But where are the Where are the Bucks better than
the Eagles? Anywhere? Nowhere? Eagles are off a longer rest,
but there's not a football right. They haven't even reclicked
an offense yet. Baker Mayfield, like, all right. I mean

(01:31:47):
they beat the Vikings in a close game, and they
beat the Bears. I don't know, man, I took the
Bay on this one. I took the Eagles. I hate
laying on the road, like this is the.

Speaker 5 (01:31:56):
Best best time to take them. I mean that this
line opened up at seven and one sports books six
and a half quickly went down to six, and uh,
I got to be blunt. I'm probably on the other
side of you, but I got a really good line.
I got a six and a half on Tampa.

Speaker 3 (01:32:10):
I'm not sure it would have been on Eagles in
minus six and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:32:13):
I just want the line now we can both win.

Speaker 3 (01:32:16):
Got four and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:32:17):
I mean, they lost both coordinators. They've just I don't know, man,
they look terrible on offense. They have the new coordinator.
I don't know about him. On offense, it just doesn't
look like it's clicked by the way I think they basically, Jeff,
you wouldn't know this more than me, but I'm pretty
sure they have the same exact offense so as the
Super Bowl team basically, But I just they just haven't

(01:32:38):
clicked it. Did you see them running the ball versus
Minnesota on like every down yet they were effective that
particular drive. But uh, I don't know. Tampa has shown there.
They're pretty good home spot. I think it's a good
spot for Tampa. But you know what, there's a time
and a place where if this game keeps on going
lower by Tomorrow night, Uh, there's an effect. What I'm

(01:32:58):
trying to say is both sides of a game can
be right, can be correct. So this game goes down
to three and a half, buying it to three, Uh,
you know, minus three plus six and a half or whatever,
and I see a couple four and a half's now,
Like Jeff said, this, this this, this is one of
the games I'm really looking forward to unbeaten teams Monday
Night football. By the way, some big movement on the
second Monday Night game Cincinnati and the Rams. It was

(01:33:21):
a pretty solid three when I woke up, and now
it's kind of fading to two and a half of
a couple spots.

Speaker 1 (01:33:25):
But by the way, should it be Monday night footballs
when they do this?

Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
Good? Yeah? I don't like the two games. By the way,
do you guys like the.

Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
Two like the last one they're doing this year?

Speaker 6 (01:33:35):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:33:35):
The double no, they do one more after this week.
We're doing three this year.

Speaker 5 (01:33:39):
Yeah, god, I just don't. I don't even know. You
guys tell me. Do the fans get to see all
the games? I'm sure like both of those games are
on major networks, so they have to buy.

Speaker 3 (01:33:47):
It's ESPN, ABC, right.

Speaker 1 (01:33:49):
Okay, good yeah, yeah yeah goodah. So you get the
two screens. The way I look at it, I've got
screens upon screens going on a Sunday. I just want
to see one game on Monday. It's really that sick,
right right, I don't want to do the whole all right,
this game, all right, that game, all right, this game,
all right. I don't need to do that.

Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
So something.

Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
And the second game is the is the maybe the
Burrow is Bengals right the.

Speaker 5 (01:34:11):
Matth we still don't know. Twenty four hours before the game,
we still don't.

Speaker 1 (01:34:14):
I mean, I know it's like Cam Rising at Utah
is he in?

Speaker 5 (01:34:17):
Is he not?

Speaker 1 (01:34:18):
We don't know, Like what it is with Joe Burrow
and the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (01:34:22):
Utah thing was frustrating because I had a pretty good
authority he was going to play, uh, and then all
of a sudden he didn't play and so that was
kind of frustrating. And then they teased he was going
to dress, and he didn't dress. My guess is Burrow
does not play.

Speaker 1 (01:34:38):
If I had to take a guess, the line has
just moved, and you might be right, Jeff. The line
is ticked up a bit skoch to the Bengals side.
It's now at minus three on bet mgm interest. So
read into that what you will. But man, this is
the Bengals are staring ohen three in the face. If
Joe Burrow isn't going, their defense hasn't been very good.

(01:34:59):
Matthew st effort in Pooka Nakula, good lord, Like, that's
that's the new, you know, two games in that's the new, Uh,
Matthew Stafford, Cooper Cup, Pooka Nakula's gone crazy. He had
fifteen catches last week against the Niners.

Speaker 3 (01:35:13):
Isn't he? And he's out this week right with injury.

Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
I don't know that pook is out. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:35:19):
He might be right.

Speaker 1 (01:35:20):
I haven't heard if he's out or not.

Speaker 3 (01:35:22):
That's yeah, that's uh. The Rams are surprising, I think
with how well they played so far. I just think
a lot of us thought they would not be very good.

Speaker 5 (01:35:31):
Definitely pre flop. This game three weeks ago was Sincinnati
minus seven. Before the season started, you could bet Week three,
you could bet since you could bet the Rams plus seven.
So just think about that. This game has moved down,
you know, at least four points from that number. So
it's uh, it's not a game that I'm really.

Speaker 3 (01:35:50):
Play by the way he's expected to play. I'm sorry
about that.

Speaker 5 (01:35:53):
He was out there, you go, Pooka. How do you
say his name?

Speaker 1 (01:35:57):
He was?

Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
He was a b YU what he transferred from a
PAC twelve school to b YU?

Speaker 1 (01:36:04):
Yeah, I have to look up which school.

Speaker 5 (01:36:05):
He was at, Washington one of those names boys. So
there's a couple of names this year. It's like Krakenberger.
It's hard to say. I mean people people always say,
can you say that again?

Speaker 1 (01:36:14):
And you know why you go with crack? Should we
go with pook It's it's poop, that's it, poo poo.

Speaker 5 (01:36:19):
Yeah that's funny. But yeah, so this is uh, we
got some good games to actually watch the hear see
what happens on Monday Night. We've had some clunkers, you know,
recently on prime time, So I'm looking forward to watch
that Philadelphia Tampa Bay game. I think that this this
you know who knows Tampa could beat them out, right,
But then again the NFL Philadelphia blow them out well.

Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
And that's the thing is, Jeff, you brought it up.
And I'm not saying you're pick is wrong because I
don't know. I don't have a crystal ball, But he said,
where is Tampa better than Philly? And it's like you
could make an argument wide receiver wise, if you look
at a J. Brown and DeVante Smith, that's a great
one to combo. It's hard to do a lot better
than my Evans and Chris Godwin that's a solid one too.

(01:37:02):
But I think it's less about that and more about
I'll take Evans and Godwin all day over the Eagle
secondary right now. And also, I think Tampa's defense collectively
is playing better than the Eagles. Like the Eagles two
weeks in, they haven't played very well defensively. Remember they
had that big They had a couple of turnovers against
New England. Yeah, they had to pick six and they
had a fumble that they forced from Zeke Elliott and

(01:37:25):
plus territory right, and they still didn't play great. So yeah, man,
I don't know. I don't know. I could see Tampa
at least covering this one, but we'll see. Man, that's
that's a tough one. I think that's a tough call.

Speaker 3 (01:37:41):
I do think it might be worse of a J
Brown over money this weekend or the next day. He
has not played well and he's not his fault particularly,
but like I think he has a bigger game and
make it happen.

Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
Never a good look when you're pouting while winning, it's
not a good look, do you know?

Speaker 3 (01:37:59):
I receiver?

Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
Guys, I know we're winning, but I need the ball.

Speaker 3 (01:38:02):
What the wide receivers do this all the time, there's
always gonna be devius. I don't know why it's surprisingly won.

Speaker 1 (01:38:09):
Still no surprise. It's so far for the course at
this at this stage, you know what else is far
for the course? Dan Byer crushing it. That's exactly what
we expect to happen. That's what happens all the time.
Dan is with us this morning. What's going on.

Speaker 7 (01:38:25):
Expectations for me have never been so high. Try to
live up to it. The Green Bay Packers have a
lot to lift up, live up to. Without some key components,
no Christian Watson today wide receiver has yet to play
this season. No Aaron Jones missing his second straight game,
so the running back's not going to be on the field.
No David Bachdiari to man the left tackle spot and

(01:38:46):
also know Jay r Alexander at corner, so Green Bay
shorthanded as they host the Chiefs today. Jaguars are home
to the Texans. Wide receiver z A. Jones in active
for Jacksonville. Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will play today
for that game in Cleveland against the Browns. ESPN reports
at the actions that led to Alan Williams to resign

(01:39:07):
as the Bears defensive coordinator were not criminal, but did
involve the team's HR department. NFL Executive VP Peter O'Reilly
confirmed reports to ESPN that the league is looking at
playing games in Spain and Brazil and some of those
games could happen as early as next season. And of course,
all of this leads up to Super Bowl fifty eight

(01:39:28):
in Las Vegas, Sin. Today we found out who will
headline the Apple Music halftime show. It will be the
one and only Usher getting the headlining gig.

Speaker 3 (01:39:37):
Guys, back to.

Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
You, there you go, Usher, Hush hush. How do you
feel about Usher there, Jeff you fan.

Speaker 3 (01:39:44):
I went to see him an MSG with my wife
when I was playing for the Giants. It was a
fabulous It was fabulous.

Speaker 1 (01:39:48):
He's a very good former in person. I loved it
so absolutely, crad I'm happy about it.

Speaker 5 (01:39:53):
I'm happy about that too. I am. That's a great halftime.
My wife like s Usher and her friends, so it's
a big halftime show. I'm happy. We've had some unbelievable
halftime shows and some unbelievable national anthems over the years,
so that that should be fun today. And I wonder
if they announced who's singing the national anthem. Yeah, I

(01:40:13):
really looked into it, but I'll be looking into it
prop time to see they're doing the research behind how long.
It's really simple too, people think, oh my god, you
bet the national anthem. I'll just go on YouTube and
watch the persons how many times they sang the national
anthem and time it compared to what the time is
at the sports books.

Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
By the way, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
The reason why the limits are very low on this
wager is because everyone gets the information beforehand. We all
know what people There's enough people that time they like
work at the at the Venues two years ago. I
knew the exact time the anthem would be.

Speaker 5 (01:40:51):
Yeah, you're right, Oh you needed someone in the stadium
that's that's watching.

Speaker 3 (01:40:55):
Even joked about like I knew what it was gonna
be in telling me one, well, that's you're a bad friend.

Speaker 5 (01:40:58):
I remember that and that was terrible.

Speaker 3 (01:41:02):
Over I knew someone that knew the person that was
producing the show. I don't know any years ago. This
was it was after I played was that a couple
years ago? It was like it's gonna be a minute
and fifty six seconds. I was like, great, I'll find
a way as you're on it. And guess what, it's
a minute fifty six seconds. Like everyone knows that that's
what the limits like one hundred.

Speaker 5 (01:41:21):
Dollars on that. You know it is now, But at
one time it wasn't because I remember Coldplay's first song
being Yellow and it was like nine to one and
I had, yes, I had people in the stadium watching
the warm up the a cappella Yellow, and I was
able to make one of my biggest scores ever in
a five figure score on Yellow being the first song.

(01:41:44):
But now that that the information is out, there. That's
why I'm talking about it now, because it's it's out
there now. Jeff's right, the limits are so low. But
there was a time, there was a time it was unbelievable,
just doing your research, getting some information, and if that
would ever be called inside information, which I don't use
that word, I think it's stupid. That was inside information.

Speaker 1 (01:42:05):
That was how'd you feel right before the first song there.

Speaker 5 (01:42:07):
Crack, yeah, you know, it's funny he Acappello yellow and
when he did, they didn't some some people said, wait,
that wasn't as that was the first song, the apella song.
So uh yeah, it felt good, but nothing felt better
for me. Six figure score on Banchero to be the
first pick in the draft, that was a that was

(01:42:29):
a real big one. And that was what was it?

Speaker 1 (01:42:31):
Was it Jabbari Smith that earlier in the day, It's
like I just got.

Speaker 5 (01:42:35):
Every one in the first everyone, including the ESPN insiders,
UH had had ban Chero going third and uh up
until the draft time a PMS, I think as Wojes
came on and said, you know, I'm hearing Orleano so
like the last last like thirty seconds before h he
knew and it was a good feeling for me.

Speaker 3 (01:42:54):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 5 (01:42:55):
I was. I usually don't sweat bets. I have to
admit it. I've never told anyone bookly this. I was
on the floor watching it. I mean, it wasn't I
don't beg I was on the floor saying, come on baby.
That was That was a you know, I betted at
twelve to one, nine to one, ten to one, eighteen
to one at two different sports books. I really kept

(01:43:16):
on and bettan and over betting it. So that was good.
And I spread a lot of my friends too, so
it was it was fun.

Speaker 1 (01:43:22):
By the way, speaking of betting, here, I'm wondering what
the Schwartz Syndicate is cooking up next weekend. You hit
on Wazoo, it's a fantastic bic against Oregon State. Anything
on the PAC twelve for Rizon that you see.

Speaker 3 (01:43:37):
Yeah, I'm probably taking the over and Boulder. It's seventy
it's seventy one points. It was a lot right now.
But uh USC's defense is not any better than they
have been. They're a tad better color. I watched organ
play this morning on film. I have lucky answers that
they're good on defense. I keep telling people this. They
don't want to know you're an Oregon homer. They've held

(01:43:58):
the last three opponents fbsponents Texas Tech, Hawaii and Colorado
to negative epa per pass attempt. They're good on defense.
Can we just say they're good on defense? US is
not as good? All right, but they're not gonna defense.
I think Colorado will bounce back. Oregon shut it down
right they second half of just like on offense to
put the backups in the start the fourth quarter that.

Speaker 1 (01:44:21):
They luckily Bucky Irving hit the over. I was sweating
that one out there, Jeff Cubbs.

Speaker 3 (01:44:27):
USC can almost score like faster than Oregon, like they're
gonna be. They're gonna, I think score in the fifties
and Colorado just needs in the twenties for that to happen.
That's I'm looking at that one for PAC twelve.

Speaker 1 (01:44:40):
First look at I don't want to cut you off
real fast. Arizona State last night they had four offensive
linemen out. Yeah, the fifth one was questionable. And how
many points do they score? Twenty four?

Speaker 3 (01:44:52):
How many twenty eight? One was off a short turnover
US he fumbled the ball. I got about ten yards
for the do you know who a.

Speaker 1 (01:44:57):
Quarterback is, Yeah, Drew Pine, the old Irish guy.

Speaker 3 (01:45:00):
Yeah, yeah, sure, the other wager. It's not dropped yet.
Maybe Crack has a number for this. I don't see
a number for this. Friday night, Utah's at Oregon State.
The Utah under I s hit in four straight games
by far, like like not even close. Like yesterday, it
was fifty two and a half before cam Rising was
announced out. It was fourteen to seven was the final score.

(01:45:20):
It's gone under every game, So that's gonna that total
is gonna probably be like nothing, h forty four. I
think around the forty four forty three. I think a
drop at it's my guest based off utter Utah games,
I would look the other there again, I think I
think that I saw and I saw the opening line
was Utah plus two and a half, which is our
projected line, which is silly because you to should be

(01:45:41):
the favorite.

Speaker 1 (01:45:43):
What they did against UCLA and Chip Kelly yesterday if
you love defense.

Speaker 3 (01:45:48):
Yeah, that was so See. This is why I think
it's important to like, you know, we're talking about wagerone
all the time. You know the importance of following the conference.
I had someone looked us up our pac twelve researcher,
the last sixteen true assuming the last sixteen freshman quarterback
to play in Utah. We're three and thirteen and completing

(01:46:10):
like fifty five percent of passes. Like it's hard to
play there. It's hard to play in Utah. And they've
won like twenty six straight home games something say number
like that, and so you see, just had no chance
that they weren't ready for that true freshman starting his
first real road game. It was never going to go
well for them.

Speaker 5 (01:46:26):
Yeah, the line of the game's pick them, but there's
no total it is pick for Oorgan State Utah right now. Yeah, yep,
pick them, pick them, I.

Speaker 3 (01:46:32):
Guess because Cam Rising is out. Oregon State did not
look good, like it's against a beaver against the Coops.
I don't know, So we'll see. Also, weird to watch out.
Washington historically plays really bad in Arizona, like just one
of those things they played, and they're gonna be at
Arizona this weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:46:50):
Sure, man, I don't know if Arizona can slow them
down right now.

Speaker 3 (01:46:53):
No one can slow Washington down. But the fact is
they just it's one of those things where they just
play worse in Arizona. Or Glass lost to Arizona State.
That weird a ball bounced off a helmet and picked
off for touchdown Arizona State. Like weird things happen in
the desert. I played Arizona twice. The first time we
played there, or Starcardar broke his foot the second time

(01:47:14):
we played there. Our quarterback towards ACL it's just it's
a it's just like not the best place to play.
It's a weird place to play.

Speaker 1 (01:47:19):
Hey, real fast, before we get to our onslaught of
picks around the corner. The line movement. We look at
Week three in the NFL, These lines are fluctuating right
before the early window kickoffs. I'm looking at the Saints
Packers line where now Green Bay is a one and
a half point underdog. It swung at least three points early. Yeah,

(01:47:43):
until now? Is that the stinky line to you, crack
or is it something else? Is it that Cleveland?

Speaker 5 (01:47:49):
I didn't bet this, but I'll tell you what, forty
one and a half I'm leaning I didn't bet it
yet and I only have twenty minutes here. I hate betting.
I hate making a lot of bets so late. I
feel like that's the hardest number to beat, is that
number that's been up there for all you know, all week.
But I'll tell you I'm tempted to take a six
point teaser with green Bay plus seven and a half
and put it in with someone. So that's uh. You know.

(01:48:11):
I do respect late line movement though, I do, but
I just think that at home low total again, my.

Speaker 1 (01:48:18):
God, can you put it with Denver there?

Speaker 5 (01:48:20):
Crack?

Speaker 1 (01:48:20):
Think about it? You know that through ten?

Speaker 5 (01:48:23):
No, there's no teasing through ten for me. I'll do that,
especially against a high powered offense. Anything can happen in
that game, could be a blowout. A couple six and
a half's on the screen.

Speaker 1 (01:48:31):
Now I thought you like Denver plus six. Now you
don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:48:35):
I'm saying I just wouldn't tease them. Let me tell
you something. I'm actually on an app right now looking
because as we're on the phone, it's unbelieva by I
logged in to look. I seen the six and a half.
I wanted to see what was going to cost me
at this app to buy Denver to seven. In that situation,
that's pretty fun. I do lean to Denver in the game,
but there's no teasers for me except for listen, the

(01:48:56):
only teams I ever tease, the only numbers. I'll tease
the seven and a half half to nine and a
half down to under three. I'll tease home teams like Jets,
like Green Bay through the key numbers. They're basic strategies.
Are called Wong teasers after this person named Stanford Wong.
By the way, he's a very sharp blackjack guy. All
of a sudden he got into the sports betting game

(01:49:16):
to make a couple of bucks. I guess, but I
haven't betten those things way before he ever talked about him.
But so that is the Wong teaser. Basic strategies teasing
the number down or I won't tease anything like guys
tell me, oh I got to tease from thirteen to twenty.
Oh my god said, that's great. That's not me. I'm
not teasing totals. A lot of guys tease totals. I'm

(01:49:38):
not teasing. I'm not looking to tease any totals. No way,
no way, Okay, take a.

Speaker 3 (01:49:42):
Dog from thirteen. People are just nuts, that's insane.

Speaker 5 (01:49:46):
People are nuts.

Speaker 3 (01:49:46):
What are we gonna do our five picks? Brian Aftergot, you're.

Speaker 1 (01:49:49):
Doing it right, now yeah it right now yeah, no, no, no,
right around the corner, around the slide of picks. Okay,
So you're telling me one teaser, got it? Uh, you're
telling me teasing Denver is the wrong teaser? Is that
you want to be wong?

Speaker 4 (01:50:03):
Not wrong?

Speaker 5 (01:50:04):
Listen. I need guys. I need people to put the
to bet, you know, crazy teasers and you know tease
from thirteen down to seven. I need people to do
that because for people to do that, it makes me
have an easier way to slip into the sports books
and steal their money by betting long term. But that's
not the way I work. I can't help it on

(01:50:24):
my father's son. I have to tell you guys the
right way to bet and what to do and tell
the public that.

Speaker 1 (01:50:29):
That's why we call you Bill Twinkle Toes Crackenberger. Just
sneaking in, that's right, sneaking in like the way like, uh,
what is it? Fred Flintstone Bold, That's.

Speaker 5 (01:50:39):
What I thought it when you said that, I thought
of I haven't seen it in thirty years, right, forty years,
but I remember the Fred Flintstone, you know, Ralph Crampton character.

Speaker 1 (01:50:47):
Yeah, there it is, right, Absolutely, We've got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran Bill Crackcrackenberger from crackwins dot com
sports handicap bro. I'm Brian No coming up next, picks Galore.
Jeff and I are on a quest to earn cracks respect.
We make five picks the last second against the spread,
and then we'll get our best bets of the day

(01:51:09):
to you as well. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM. Oh we are ten
minutes away from kickoff. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM. Props to the crew
as always, Bo Benson, our trusted producer Chris Perfet, technical
producer Dan Beyer gracing us with his presidence today, doing

(01:51:31):
a great job on the updates and beyond top of
the hour. Keep it locked right here Red Zone Radio
on Fox Sports Radio at Steve Hartman and Rich Ornberger.
They'll have all the NFL and college goodies for you
coming up here in just about ten minutes. Okay, Jeff,
We're on a quest to earn cracks respect. It's very
hard to pick five sides in the NFL home team,

(01:51:54):
away team, whatever. YEP, so we're getting close to kickoff.
We'll start with you your five picks.

Speaker 3 (01:52:01):
So you have Minnesota minus the one, okay, I will
take um the Broncos plus six. Okay, give me the
Steelers plus three, uh huh, Eagles minus five, and give
me a give me New England minus the two and

(01:52:22):
a half.

Speaker 1 (01:52:23):
Okay, all right, I've got a couple of that are
the same. I'm with you on Minnesota, okay, I'm with
you there. I'm with you on the Steelers on Sunday
night tonight plus the three. I'm gonna go with New
Orleans minus a point and a half on the road

(01:52:44):
against the Packers. They play real defense. I am going
to go with Cleveland minus three and a half. They
are begging you, begging you to take the type, please
take the Tights. I will not take the Titans.

Speaker 5 (01:52:56):
I will not do that.

Speaker 1 (01:52:58):
And last pick, I am going to go, oh with
Chris purfets Detroit Lions.

Speaker 5 (01:53:04):
I know, well, we didn't talk about that game. Yeah,
lots of lots of money on Atlanta earlier in the week.
But however, now lots of somebody coming back on Detroit.

Speaker 1 (01:53:12):
Yeah, we got Detroit minus three. I just think even
without David Montgomery. You're going to see a lot of
Jamiir Gibbs today. And do you trust Desmond Ritter on
the road? I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:53:23):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:53:23):
B John Robinson's a stud. But I think coming off
of a loss last week, I think the Lions are
better today. Jared Gofs done a tremendous job protecting the football.
It's got nineteen touchdowns in one interception like it is
last like ten plus games. That's that's really good. So
I'll go with the Lions.

Speaker 5 (01:53:41):
There.

Speaker 1 (01:53:41):
There you go. What do you think about that?

Speaker 5 (01:53:43):
Crack? You good with?

Speaker 6 (01:53:44):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (01:53:44):
Listen, I said, you guys, this is a tough task.
So you guys are up to what. I appreciate you
even doing it because you're proven to the public how
hard it is to do this. And if you guys
can overcome this boy, more power to you. And a
great RF which his room food beverage in Las Vegas
at the fabulous Win Casino here for you, guys, compliments of.

Speaker 1 (01:54:06):
Me gunning for it. We are gunning for it. Crack.
All right, let's dive into this.

Speaker 4 (01:54:12):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:54:14):
All right, one pick from each of us.

Speaker 5 (01:54:16):
Crack. We'll start with you man, Okay, I told you, guys,
I was saving this one. Russell Wilson over fifteen and
a half rushing yards. He ran for fifty six yards
last game, so Miami's allowed, you know, quarterback rushing yards
this year. So I'll just tell you, I just think
this is a good I bet this multiple times, so

(01:54:36):
over Russell Russell Wilson rushing yards.

Speaker 1 (01:54:39):
Okay, right, okay, are you thinking here, Jeff?

Speaker 5 (01:54:43):
Give me.

Speaker 3 (01:54:44):
I took Zach Wilson and Ryan Tannehill under their passing
totals for today. I think it's gonna be tough for
them to move the ball, and I'm perfectly happy with
fitting them.

Speaker 1 (01:54:55):
Okay, I'm gonna give you a prop bet. I'm gonna
go with Jamir Gibbs twelfth overall, No David Montgomery today,
I'm gonna take over twenty eight and a half receiving
yards against the Falcons. I like that play today, Let's
dive into this.

Speaker 4 (01:55:11):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 6 (01:55:15):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:55:16):
All right, crack, what do you have for us?

Speaker 5 (01:55:18):
I'm gonna hope this teaser streak keeps on going. The
Jets teasing it up from two and a half to
eight and a half. The key numbers there and then
I'm gonna tease Baltimore down from seven and a half
down to one and a half. So teaser with Baltimore
and the Jets. Good luck on your bets this weekend.
You know, be responsible, don't be chasing the Lake games tonight.
Just of course we all like Pittsburgh. Don't put the

(01:55:39):
bankroll on it, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:55:42):
Just tastefully done, tasteful chasing if that's what you end
up doing. Everybody enjoy Week three. Been pleasant hanging with you,
and hopefully my heart mends from the Irish last night.

Speaker 3 (01:55:52):
I'm sorry, buddy,
