Speaker 1 (00:00):
Is the in game.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
We're here to break it all down. Is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented MG after Now we're live
from your tail game. Here's Brian no H here, NFL
Better and Jeff Schwartz and Professional Sports Better Bill crack Krackenberger.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Oh, welcome in here, week thirteen of the NFL season.
We'll get you all set for that good stuff. But
you know, welcome in guys. You know Jeff Schwartz, Bill
Krackenberger here, and we we always talk college football at
the very beginning of the show, and man, the them
(00:45):
yesterday Crack was don't plant flax at midfield. You know,
some bad bloods and fits the cuffs going on, and uh,
there's a good ball. You know, some upsets going on.
I can't believe that Ohio State lost again to Michigan.
That is unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Man, I didn't know there was that bad of blood
like at the end of the game. I actually was
upset seeing them on the field going after each other
and five. I mean after a big game like that. Now, granted,
I guess the Michigan player when he grabbed that flag
and he's running in the middle of the Ohio State.
(01:22):
I guess that's rubbing it in their face, but it
just I thought it was such a great game for Michigan.
I didn't like. I didn't like those, like you said,
those fisticuffs after the game, and I didn't. I probably didn't,
even though, of course I know it's the oldest, you know,
old rival and everything. I just didn't realize that was
that much hate amongst these kids. Come on, god, oh god.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
There's plenty. There's plenty. Yeah, you go, that's the like
the official slogan of Georgia Georgia Tech is like clean,
old fashioned hate. It was a great slogan for that,
uh and that that was unbelievable. To the eight overtime
game where Georgia barely survived against Tech, that was wild.
But man, we had some good games. Miami goes down
(02:10):
these teams that are on the doorstep of getting to
their conference championship, and they just go down. That's what
happened with Miami. Miami lost on the road to Syracuse,
and the week prior, Old Miss screwed it up when
they were on the road against Florida. So there's been
a couple of teams that were right there just have
to win a game that you're highly favored in and
(02:32):
couldn't do it.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Wow, I tell you what I actually did enjoy though.
You know, I don't watch a lot of games, but
I did enjoy watching the last quarter of the of
the Michigan Ohio State game. You know, you just figure,
I know what happens here. Ohio State wins by three
last minute field goal. And even though I didn't have
(02:55):
really any skin in the game, I was kind I
kind of was rooting for. You always root for one
of these big underdogs to win. And you know I
always say any given Sunday on the show, but I
may have to say any given Saturday after that. After
a big ten to one, you could have took eleven
though I've actually seen eleven to one on Michigan here
in town. So and yeah, I just didn't like the end.
(03:18):
It's really classlessness. We just live in a different time, fellas.
No more shaking hands saying good game. These kids are
looking to go viral. And it looks like Oregon versus
Penn State now in the Big Ten Championship. I see
the early line of this game is Oregon minus string
and a half fifty and a half both teams in
the playoffs, but the winner of this gets a bye.
(03:39):
So I just don't know. Hope both teams are motivated,
you know, you know, we could see what we've seen
in college basketball sometimes the teams that already clinched the
spot that are motivated to win the conference championship. It's,
you know, with this new way they're doing things here,
(03:59):
I don't know the motivational factors behind some a couple
of the teams. I mean we're like I was anyone
up late Friday night actually for that, like you said,
the Georgia Georgia Tech eight overtime game with people up
that late. I mean, somehow Georgia finds a way to
win keep their national championship hopes alive. But again, any
given Sunday is going to be changed over to any
(04:20):
given Saturday. Really really exciting, really it is, it is.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
And that's the thing, Crack. We'll have Jeff Schwartz on
this show. Don't worry, guys. You know, everybody's like, we're Schwartzy.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
You know, it's again two weeks in a row with Jesus.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
See on the sideline for another game over. No, we're
getting hooked up here. Just working out some technical issues,
but he'll be here. I see him. He's on the
on the chat here wearing his Oregon gear, you know,
so he's all fired up for why wouldn't he the
Big Ten Championship game. But real fast though, Mini soapbox
cracked because you hit on something where you're talking about,
(04:52):
you know, basically playing the game with class, you know.
And Kalel Mollings, he's the Michigan running back. He talked
after the game after Michigan beat Ohio State and there's
this big, you know, brawl basically at midfield. Michigan wanted
to plant the flag at midfield. Ohio State's not gonna
stand for that, and a fight broke out and Molling said, hey,
(05:13):
you got you gotta be able to lose with class.
You gotta be able to handle losing. And I hear
him on that. But it works both ways, Crack, you
gotta handle winning with class as well. So it's always
funny to me how the team that doesn't want to
flag point at like planet at midfield their class lists,
but the team trying to plant the flag on the
(05:34):
road at midfield, as if that's not disrespectful at all.
They're class c you know what I mean like it? Yeah,
being classy works both ways, whether you're on the winning
side or the losing side.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
I heard that interview and I heard them talk to him,
and you know, see we're on the same page. Without
even talking about it ahead of time, I kind of
said to myself, well, it's not just them that we're
doing this. I mean, you guys were, you know, trying
to plant the flag midfield. And you know, a buddy
of mine that's from Columbus, Ohio, he told me something yesterday,
goffa bit. You even have an M on your license
(06:07):
plate your car. It's real serious stuff. Now, my dad
was from Ohio, Southeastern Ohio country area, actually a little
country town, and football was everything. Cause I used to
go back in August. I used to go to the
state fair, the county fairs, you know, truck pulls, tractor pulls,
but every Sunday was high school football. They were prepping,
(06:29):
they were getting ready a month before the schools even opened.
And you know, football was everything. But I just forget.
I didn't realize even though I went to Columbus for
that state Fair, I really forget that Michigan is just
hated so much in Ohio in Columbia, and I'm talking
about you know that this in school rival, this rival.
(06:49):
I'm not talking about people in general, but I just
forgot until I seen them fighting on the field. I
forgot about that rival is so strong. And you know,
I did see the interview, and we thought the same thing.
I said to myself, this kid saying like it was all, oh,
you know, it's all their fault and it's all Ohio
(07:10):
State's fault. Well, I mean, you guys were really, you know,
kind of rub it in their face too, But I
understand you do that. These are kids, They're so pumped up,
so excited, and I didn't expect it to start up
a second time. There was a brawl, stopped another brawl,
you know, in the middle of all those guys. Brian,
I'm looking to see all these guys that are dressed
in the black and the hats. They're all state troopers.
(07:32):
There was a hundred state troopers on the field. They
couldn't control the kids, they couldn't control them.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
No, it was a wild scene. Really was no doubt
about that. We'll get Jeff's thoughts on college ball when
we connect with him momentarily, because I know that would
make him sick to his stomach.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Crack.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
You know, we're just talking college ball, and he bussiness
that segment, and then he's back for the rest of
the show and we talked no college ball, you know
what I mean, especially about Oregon. Yea, right, No, I no,
Oregon looked really good last night. How about you know,
just many preview here and we'll get to Christian Cippolini
coming up from bed MGM, he'll help his preview Week thirteen.
But I always like in the morning, there hasn't been
(08:13):
much movement from last night to this morning, Crack. There's
been a couple of lines that just shifted slightly, like
the it's really just the totals. The Steelers Bengals total
dip down a half point, the Seahawks Jets total dipped
down a half point also, but the point spreads pretty
(08:34):
much maintained from last night until this morning. I always
find that interesting because you know, as well as I do,
leading right up to kickoff, you're gonna see a lot
of movement every single Sunday. So it's just funny when
we're a couple hours away from kickoff, not much movement,
at least today but leading up to kickoff. Man, it's
movement city, right, You're seeing the lines move up and
down all the all which ways, but not anything major
(08:57):
just yet.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Yeah, you know it. It's people just think that the
sharp guys move the lines and to be real blunts. Yes,
Sunday night, Monday morning for the next week, seven days out.
Even during the week, I'll even go Tuesday, Wednesday, maybe
an occasional Thursday, but normally by the time the weekend comes,
(09:19):
it's a very efficient line. Now, believe it or not.
Like you said, nothing really moved overnight, believe it or not.
Sometimes sometimes sometimes in volume, they're forced to move game lines.
Now what I mean by that is, let's look at
a Marquee game today, or you know, let's look at
the Philadelphia Baltimore game. So Baltimore is giving two and
(09:40):
a half, two and a half or three. Let's use,
of course our sponsor the bet MGM line minus three
minus o five. Okay, Well, if they get hit with
so much Philadelphia money plus the three, which which is
the only way I would see this game going, because
if they're not on two and a half, if they
were on two and a half, I'd use Balton as
(10:00):
the example. Let's use Philadelphia as the example. All these
fifty dollars, one hundred dollars, two hundred dollars, five hundred
dollars in volume in bulk, well, now you have a
side that went from not a big deal one hundred,
two hundred, five hundred thousands and added up to tens
of thousands, hundreds of thousands. Now you take even a
(10:21):
marquee game like Buffalo San Franz tonight and you're talking
seven figures. Well, you have to move the game, and
that's because of a lot of the believe it or not,
the public money in volume. So it's just really interesting
how games move day of the game compared to early
in the week when that market is so inefficient. Even myself,
(10:43):
you know, I'm betting some max bets Monday mornings, so
I know I'm only allowed to bet three dimes max
or even two dimes max. Compared to now whatever you
can bring to the counter and dump out on the
counter you can bet. Big difference.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Big difference is it's crazy. And how about this crack
just in time, Jeff, we were doing a deep dive
on Notre Dame's win against USC. If you have any
thoughts on that that would be the time.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
I just want to say, good morning, going got to
me back this week. Raise your hand, Raise your hand
if your favorite college school program is undefeated in both
football and men's basketball past Thanksgiving, if you like, I.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Had my hand up by the way until that the
last second, I thought you were going in a different
direction like one yesterday.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Or eleven zero and football eight to zero basketball players
championship thing last night in basketball. But players got one
point five million dollars for winning that tournament last night,
which is kind of wild. But glad to be with you, guys.
Nor Dame big win yesterday. I mean, look, when you
allow thirty five points to the USC, you know you're
the most dominant team in the country. I saw a
tweet this one. I was like, nor Dame most dominant
(11:56):
team the country. And I'm like, guys, there is a
team who's twelve and oh there's a team who's undefeated. Brian,
I've waited all year. I've been quite all year on
this on this fact. Okay, guys, I'm gonna be a
little bit of a homer. Now. There is one undefeated
team in the country. It is the Oregon Ducks. They
have won twelve games in a row. Obviously, first couple
weeks were tough. In the last ten weeks, they have
(12:19):
won eight games by at least twenty one points. Like,
we are kicking everyone's butt. We beat Illinois, who's a
top twenty five team, thirty eight to nine. Like, I
don't understand why no one's like this Orgon team kind
of good. Ten sacks yesterday, ten ten sacks yesterday. It
(12:40):
just drives me crazy. Man. Yeah, Texas is really good too, Okay,
I agree. I think Georgia can win a championship. Absolutely.
That's about it. The list ends. There's no one. Oh sorry, Brian,
you know name. I don't think he's winning a championship.
It's possible. I guess it's weird. It's a weird year.
I know bank roll matters most and I had Ohio
(13:00):
State yesterday covering that game crack, But yeah, I was
a dummy. That's one of my losses yesterday. But wow,
I actually like the story much better this way. When
I lost the game.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Jeff, let me ask you, being a sports better there
in that situation, I think I know the answer. At
the end of the game, are you rooting for Michigan
to win out right, Yes, that's that. I love that.
If you can't cover the game, I can't cover the.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Games, make it make it miserable for the other team. Yeah,
if I can't cover one, the other team to lose.
But to be fair, I did go three and two yesterday,
and I don't know ook man. I guess I don't
have the physique to get any attention on social media.
But fifty seven percent coltre ball this season, fifty nine
percent last five years, so another good year in college football.
(13:50):
I just wager on the teams I follow. It's not
it's not like a hard recipe. I followed the Big Ten.
I follow the West Coast schools. And one thing that
we've talked about in this show Crack and you've taught
me this, it's sort of when you find a wager,
you just ride it, you know, like the NBA is
the best when when you give out props, and it's
like you give the same prop every game. It's like,
(14:12):
if you play seven game series, you gonna hit the
prop five out of five ountre seven games. Like I
have learned this from you, and I just kept beating
the same stuff. Colorado team total over every game, but
like one they went over. Like just keep being the
same thing. It's not rocket science. Penn State to cover
anytime they're a three touchdown favorite. They cover every single time.
It is a three touchdown favorite every single time. That's
(14:33):
in my account. Thirty five. Yeah, thirty five to one on.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Five.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
I wish, I wish, I wish I would have bet more.
I'll tell you that. Oh my god, I went down
with a small, small sprinkle in that one. So yeah,
I mean that's it's not NFL is much harder than
college football in that aspect. You can't just spend the
same thing every week. But I just kept doing the
same stuff every week. Fadie Perdue, good way to go.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Oh my gosh, right one and eleven man, And like
it's got to be similar against the spread as well,
Right they're getting wow.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
I mean yeah, I can't. I yesterday there were twenty
nine point dogs and lost fifty nine nothing.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
So before the game, you're like, man, I gotta I
gotta lay twenty nine. It's like I laid it.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Oh, I laid it.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I lay lay it twice instantly.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
I did like a fun little Indiana over thirty five
points per Due under fifteen and a half. Little parlay
there too, Like it was just I just loaded up
in Indiana they were in a fake punt up thirty
eight nothing.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
Wow, we saw a little bit of that. How about
the postgame handshake between James Franklin of State who ran
a passing play at like at the buzzer right and
they scored a touchdown and Mike Loxley basically was was
grabbing him just like that was ps What was that like?
(15:54):
There there were some there's some nasty stuff going on there,
yet the whole day running the game, they're running the score.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Yeah, it was so James Franklin does not like Maryland.
They passed him over for a job I think like
twelve years ago and he's never let them live it down.
Yesterday we had Michigan players get pepper sprayed.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
We had Arizona State trying to put their their their
their pitchfork and the Arizona logo that didn't go very well.
We had a lot of logo Because of the turf,
you can't actually put the flag in the ground, so
a lot of places it's just like it just sits there.
So really fun Cultura Ball season obviously a couple of
games now, obviously for this upcoming weekend, the Cultural Playoff
(16:33):
feels like it's sort of set. There's probably one at
large still available right now at the moment. And uh,
we've had four NFL games this week, so the menu
today is small but feisty, and the crack Challe is
gonna be. Uh, it's gonna be. It's gonna be tough, Brian,
I don't have five, so I have to get five
(16:55):
before we have the show.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
It's always a great sign, right, Like I've got three.
I really like it's like, well, you got to get
to five.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
You have five contest places we can. Two of them
happened on Thanksgiving and I hit one and it was
one on one. So but remember you only cot the
ones that win. So actually, that's right. I do it
for fun. I just put him for fun.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
And that's the thing, real super fast. I like what
you said a couple of minutes ago about if you
find an angle that that's a sharp angle or a
good angle, it's working for you. Just keep going back
to it, keep going back to the well. The only
exception would be Celtics player Sam Houser. We just kept
going back to the well on, Jeff in the playoffs,
so you would not hit three pointers the Indiana Pacers.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
And then every time I catch a Celtics highlight, he's
making a three p.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
He's just draining threes every.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Every game, just three point three point three pointers. So it's, uh,
it is, it is what it is, but nonetheless exciting
week of football. The ball buffet was a ton of
fun and obviously is unfortunately over.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
Essentially, Oh no, it's it's not over yet. Well college, yes, college,
but today, man, today we got some this Vehicles Ravens
game and there's some really good matchups.
Speaker 1 (18:07):

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Yes, like to welcome in our friend, Christian Cipolini, BETMGM
Trading Manager. A good morning, Christian, What do you think
the odds are that we're gonna get fisticuffs in the
NFL like we got in college football yesterday. Any flags
being planted at midfield? Can we bet on that too?
Can we bet on fisticuffs?
Speaker 5 (19:54):
Yeah? I was on the regulators right, but that was
crazy ricking. Pretty different ones going. Yeah, not as much
flag posted in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
Though, I should have parlayed that yesterday. Now that I
think you got rich Man, Yeah, money to be made.
Let me ask you about this week in terms of
the bets that are coming in on the Sunday night
game Niners bills. There's weather involved with all the snow.
Brock Party probably gonna play. What's the money been looking
(20:22):
like through the week with both of those things here?
Speaker 5 (20:25):
Yeah, glad you touched on this one because this is
one the most interesting one for me because if line
didn't really move with Brock Party moving in. And also,
as of right now, we are eighty eighty five percent
of the money coming in is so far on the bills,
So I know the forty nine ers have looked pretty bad.
They have not covered at a high rate, but I
was shocked to see that much money coming in on
the bills. But it is so really early, we know
we might still get a lot more public money coming
(20:46):
in on the forty nine ERDs later. The other thing
that I think is interesting this game is this total
is dropped a few points, and from forty six and
a half down to forty four, we've also had eighty
five percent of our money coming in on the under,
which is super rare for the sportsbook. Obviously that's due
to all the snow, but it knows about the stop
in about forty five minutes to an hour, and the
field will be completely clear at that point, so there
(21:08):
is probably a lower number than that will end up being.
I think that's gonna end up going up as we
get closer in the game time.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
I want to ask you about that. How often do
you see people just basically panic back the under in
poor weather when it's all win related, it's if it's
windy or not. Teams score a ton of points in
the snow, we go lose every single season, and yet
people pound the under every time there's a snow game.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Yeah, exactly, yep. I think we probably touched on this
last season too. The wind is certainly the bigger factor.
I don't know exactly what the wind is looking like tonight.
But I know that people are assuming that this is
going to be a snowball and that is not going
to be the case.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Christian Bill Krackenberger, You know, I see that you guys
have a six on that game, one of the only six.
There's lots of six and a half here in Vegas.
So do you see yourself going to the six and
a half on that game because you're getting eighty eight percent?
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Are you?
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Guys are pretty solid at not moving the line that much.
I noticed though, But when you're getting that kind of
money on one side, do you eventually move or is
it situational because this is a night game and you
want to see what happens. You still have you know,
another ten hours or whatever.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
You know, Yeah, it's a little bit. Honestly, we probably
should start leaning into that six and a half. I
would imagine that we probably will go there looking around
the board with other ones there and just judging where
we are. You know, as we talked about, you know,
we try not to move too too far off market,
but this is the case where we are already seeing
a lot of action on the bills and we probably
(22:36):
want to start trying to write the forty.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Nine ers actions and part two of my questions here
exactly something I actually bet, not not a big play,
but a small play early in the week that I
was a genius with Seattle. It just goes to show
you some of those sharp guys even don't get the
best of the line. I well, not that I've got
a worse line, but I laid pick them on the
game and now it's still pick them on a lot
(22:58):
of books in Vegas. But yeah, one of the only
places in the world that Seattle's minus one is is uh, well,
you guys just moved to the Jets minus one. But
it was it was it was Seattle minus one ten
minutes ago. I was going to say, you guys, just
all right, you just moved. I was wondering if you
had a lot of Seattle money, and so in that game,
are you pretty much even evenly balanced.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
No, we haven't a lot of Seattle money. So that
is why we moved there. In that line probably should
tell you a lot. The fact that we that's one
of our probably games that we're going to need more
is the Jets in this one, because we're about eighty
percent of our money coming in on Seattle, So most
of our money coming in on Seattle. Yet the line
is headed towards the Jets, so that usually tells you
(23:41):
a lot.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Interesting, Who else would you need today, Christian? If is
Seattle is what would be the top need? Maybe the
top two or three needs for you guys.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
Yeah, So this is a much different week from last week.
Last week there's a lot of double digit spreads, a
lot of a lot of those. This week a lot
of all are tighter spreads, but it is still the
bigger ones we probably have the most need in. If
I'm going to pick one game, it might be the Jaguars.
This another game that was Textant's mind of six earlier
in the week. Because of Trevor Lawrence being in this
line has moved a few points towards the Jaguars, but
(24:16):
we haven't taken much Jaguars money. We're still at about
probably twenty percent of the money is on the Jaguars,
so we'd like a lot more of that, and I
think that's going to be one of our big ones.
The other one I would mention is going to be
Titans Commanders, another one where we have gotten a good
amount of money on the Commanders, so if one of
those two teams can win or cover, that probably is
(24:36):
going to be a good day for the book.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
I saw a tweet earlier. I don't know if it
was a I think it was from BENMGM, but that
everyone's on Pittsburgh today as a dog is the trend
everyone out of Mike Toman underdog and everyone's way joining
because I was surprised to see that.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Yeah, we definitely have a big Steeler following at bet
MGM because that that has happened over the last few years.
Steelers are one of the few teams that we have
liability on from the futures perspective, and we have noticed
that every year we always kind of seem to have
a lot of Steelers bets and money come in, even
though you know, they haven't really been the most appealing
(25:17):
team to bet on over the past couple of years.
The trend that I'm seeing today is people are not
worried about the point getting the points here. So from
our money line bets, about eighty five percent of our
money line bets are on the Steelers. There some people
that are taking the Bengals that are taking the points,
and if you want, like the Steelers they think they're
just going.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
To win it out right, Christian, I'm wondering about Thursday,
Thanksgiving Thursday. I'm thinking that it was a real good
day for the books, especially you guys with your presence
in Michigan. I'm just wondering, was that one of like
the biggest volume days Thursday compared to today? It is? It?
Even though it's only free games, compared to our bigger
(25:56):
card today of ten or eleven, what in terms of
your volume and how much money you'd taken on games,
was Thursday a really big big day?
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Yeah? It is. If I include Fridays, the volume actually
of those four games probably actually is going to get
pretty close to today Sundays late, you know, probably excluding
the Sunday night game, because they're all standalone games, they'll
end up doing pretty well from a handling perspective. We
saw on Thursday went from the early games not the
(26:30):
most handled, and then we had a little bit less
as we got later in the night. But yeah, that was,
you know, a pretty good day. The Lions recovery is,
you know, always a good thing for us.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
It probably would have been better. I'm guessing if the
Lions or the Chiefs lost out right am, I right.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yeah, yeah, exactly what. We would have liked both of
those to go the other way, but you can't complain
too much. When those were we had a you know,
they didn't come to spread to those good enough a
lot better with the way. But yeah, I mean yesterday's
one two or sorry, Friday's. You know, we talked about
the Chiefs not covering it those big spreads at a
high rate, but last week didn't stop anyone. We're still
(27:09):
getting overwhelming Chiefs money. So that was a little bit
different of a trend than we've seen. I guess they
thought they were just gonna take care of business, gets
the raiders or clearly didn't happen.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Yeah, well you took care of business this morning, Christian.
That's the good news, right, and we open you have
a great day, man, have a fun Sunday and we'll
catch you soon.
Speaker 5 (27:28):
What's that one this week?
Speaker 3 (27:29):
There you go, thank you. That's Christian Sippolini bet MGM
Trading manager. And how about this we have a special
treat Dan Byer hanging out with us this morning.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Dan.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
What's going on man?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Morning?
Speaker 6 (27:40):
Fellas great to hear you talking shop in some NFL
trying to get everybody caught up.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
On who's in and who's out today.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
You guys mentioned it earlier.
Speaker 6 (27:47):
Brock Pertia go for San Francisco, going to start tonight
against the Bills in Buffalo, returning from that shoulder injury
that forced him to miss last week. Briese Holly go
for the Jets today as they faced the Seahawks. Well,
the Eagles and Ravens will be the highlighted game in
that late afternoon window. Philadelphia not likely to have wide
receiver Devonte Smith today, but the Ravens are expected to
(28:08):
have linebacker Roquan Smith back on the field. He missed
Monday's win against the Chargers because of a hamstring strained.
Patriots and Golts New Battle both will be having injured
wide receivers on the field. Wide receiver Alec Pierce good
to go for Indie, while to Mario Douglas will play
through an ankle injury for New England Today. Jaguarside left
tackle Walker Little to a three year, forty five million
(28:29):
dollars deal.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
They have the Texans today.
Speaker 6 (28:32):
Chiefs already played and so on Friday in the NFL
Network says they could get Hollywood Brown in the lineup.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
As soon as.
Speaker 6 (28:38):
Week sixteen or seventeen, as the wide receiver has missed
the entire regular season with a shoulder injury, and the
NFL network says Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is told
North Carolina he is not interested in their head coaching vacancy.
The report does add Smith could be a candidate for
an NFL head coaching vacancy this offseason, obviously previously the
head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Guys, you good stuff.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Dan.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
BETMGM crack. You mentioned this game to Christian, the Seahawks
at the Jets, and this line has moved. We had,
just like ten minutes ago or so, the Seahawks were
a one point favorite. Now the Jets are a one
point favorite, and with eighty percent of the money on
(29:22):
the Seahawks, and the line moves toward the Jets. We
heard a lot of sharp money on the Jets, right
it's the only way no so.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Money has coming in this. This game went up to
Seattle minus two for a while, so now it's come
down to pick them. And now, like you said, even
Jets one point favorite at bet MGM. I hate to
be on the side of Seattle though, because he said
eighty percent of the money was on Seattle. Yet they
started moving to the Jets. Jets money coming in, but
I like seeing Jets money coming in day of the game.
(29:51):
That's the public again, not a giant position for me.
I just think Seattle was rolling along here a little bit.
Two teams maybe going in two different directions, and uh,
this is a big game for the Jets too, just
to save some face, I get it, I get it.
All the questions about the quarterback there and stuff. So
I'm gonna, uh, I'm gonna stick with my position here
(30:12):
and uh see what see what happens in the line,
you know Seattle. Actually, people just don't realize this. Seattle
moved to like in the first place here, so like
you think you think Seattle first place cannot be. They
should have both of their wide receivers today Metcalf and
Lockett too, so I'm not sure how healthy they are,
you know, as they both mispracticed this week, but maybe
(30:36):
not even expecting too much offense in this game. The game,
by the way, because both teams have been really struggling
to score this season. I think Smith has thrown like
six interceptions in the last four games, and Rogers, you know,
you know, we know what's happening with him. He's announced
that he's not going to play for the Jets next
year and kind of looked his age did this last month?
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah, Jets fans, two things in this game. One is
the Jets stink and there's dysfunction. And I'm not sure
Bye week does anything to make that any better because
they didn't play last week. I have that correct. I
believe right doesn't make any better. Like you know, if
you got bad coaches, bad juju in the building, these
long articles coming out about the owner intervening in personal
(31:18):
decisions and firing Joe Douglas and all this nonsense. That
you never want that noise. You know, the other noisy team,
Dallas Cowboys just noise, right like it's you. You want
to be in a situation where you have that noise.
The think about Seattle that it's tough is that they
sort of are bipolar by game, you know, like one
game they look good, one game they look bad, and
(31:39):
then they look good again, and they look bad again.
And by quarter maybe even a specific game. I mean
I was on him last week. I thought that they
would play well. They sort of did, but need a
pick six right to really seal that game. And so
I don't know, Man, I this one's tough. But the
public being on the Jets is no surprise. We talk
(32:01):
about this a lot this year. The Jets need to
be that one team that the the public and the
sharps can't quit. Yeah, every week money on the Jets,
I know it.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
And that's the thing where it seems like they've been
like the quote unquote sharp play a lot of weeks
and it's been the square result, you know what I mean.
Like and this is another spot where they're three and eight.
Who loves the Jets? You know who some of the
sharps do, and it's like love them. It's the sharp
play quote unquote. But it could be another square result.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
You know.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
There have been more square results with the Jets than
sharp results.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Yeah, I think I think I might stay away, even
though again I need I need a fifth game. I like,
just I much have the tail Crack here and just
like trust him and taken right. There might be a
time of this, you know today where I just say, hey, man,
Crack wins. Maybe though a quarters of the internet. You
don't win, but I would. I would have disagree with
(32:54):
those people.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Yeah, what's going on with that, Jeff, Someone's coming for
Cracks throat Eye.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
It's my fault. I sent it. I sent the tweet.
I got Crack riled up, and some internet person decided
to take a shot at and my guy over here.
And it was a very very poorly time shot, by
the way, and so Crack in the future, though, I
should have done that, because that's that's my domain. Arguing
with people on social media.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
I never knows.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Probably, I'm going to be real blunt. I think it's
the first time ever I've never argued to anyone.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
You handled it well, though I thought did go insult.
The other person went right to insults right away, and
I'm waiting for that. I might they might add to
the fade list. I don't know. I don't think so.
But Bartender by the way back at it today, Rams
Chargers money Line Parlay. What could go wrong there.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Guys, Rams Chargers money Line road Parlay. Yeah, okay, that's
might not might not work out right there? Uh so? Yeah,
always good stuff. All right, We've got Bill Krachenberger from
crackwins dot Com sports handicapper Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.
(34:07):
I'm Brian No. Coming up next the parlay Ladder. We'll
each have one selection for you. We'll pull it together
for a greater payout. Shout out to our guy Bowie.
He's listening this week. He bets on our parlay pladder,
you know, so we we got to bring it for him, right,
He's putting actual money on this thing, so we'll have
that for you. Next. It's Fox Sports Radios Campdown to Kickoff,
presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Campdown to
(34:29):
Kickoff presented by BETMGM. Every time you make a wager
at BETMGM, you earn BETMGM rewards points that can be
redeemed for things like bonus bets or converted to MGM
rewards points that can be used towards dining shows and
hotel rooms at over twenty MGM resorts. All right, let's
do this.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Check this out par lay letter.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Okay, we need one pick from everybody. We pull it
together for a greater payout. Crack, We'll start with you.
What's something you man?
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Listen? This line just keeps moving more and more and more.
I was hoping to get like plus seven minus twenty.
I'm gonna put an ugly team out there, just put
the points. I think Tampa wins, but I think Carolina.
If I could take Carolina Jeff's team over there, it's
open plus six and a half. And if I can
get plus seven minus twenty, that would be really nice.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Oh man, I'm on Tampa to days. I feel like
against Crack it's not great to be.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Well, it's okay though, because you're probably on a minus
six and uh what did I get five? Five and
a half? Even it was five and a half.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
They got five and a half. So we can hit
we can hit a six.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
No, this this this line five and a.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
Half, five and a half.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Yes, this line makes me look at this game. Like
I said, the plus seven, you could buy it up
to seven will be a great way to go.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Well, I guess we're you can't buy a seven. We're
doing to parlay craft.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
You can take that, but you could do that on
an alternative You could do that. You can actually take
that on an alternative line though, I'm just giving out
really a ra my portion of the parlay. But for
the parlay platter. We can make it plus six and
a half.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
That's fine, Crat, you can go crazy, you can make
it seven. I mean, even the parlay platter if you
wanted to ye, all right, well, I mean, okay, if
we're gonna do that, So I'm gonna go with how
about a Steelers plus three and a half minus one
forty into the parlay since we got yeah, I'll take
a line. I'll take the half point here. Look, might
(36:26):
be boring, might be not Mike Tomlin as a divisional
underdog eighty one percent against the spread. More importantly, guys,
the Bengals defense stinks. And you cannot bet on the
Bengals at any point because they continually show they cannot
play defense at of his moments. Only Pittsburgh's offense is
that great. But the Bengals defense is not good. And
(36:48):
and you know we'll put this game more but Brian,
the Bengals don't win any of these games this season.
So give me Steelers here plus three and a half
minus one forty because we're doing a parlay plus three.
I hope it holds plus three. Please hold till twelve
fifty pm Eastern for the crack challenge. How it'll be
two and a half.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Now you'll be all right, yeah, no, it's smart, you know,
by a little bit that could help the parlay cash,
no doubt unless I wreck it right here with this one.
Let's throw something in there, Crack. You mentioned this in passing.
Geno Smith has just thrown a lot of interception boy,
I know you love the interception props, Chef. You can't
get enough of them. I don't know why you're so
(37:28):
anti them, but I'm going with Geno Smith to throw
a pick here. And it's actually it's it's juice to
the under is what it is. I'm going with over
the technical is overer point five interceptions, so it's basically yes,
to throw an interception today. The Jets have They couldn't
intercept anything the beginning of the season. Now they're middle
(37:48):
of the pack. They're tied for thirteenth with eight interceptions
on the season. Gino leads the league with twelve. Like
Krak said, he's thrown a bunch in the last handful
of games. And even though Jackson Smith and Jigbazz been
going crazy the last three games for Seattle, I still
think he throws it to the other team, I'll take
minus one oh five Geno Smith to throw an interception today.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
My brand is now that disliked this tweet. I mean this.
I don't know why it's not my brand. Brian, I'm sorry, No, Look,
it's totally possible. And you've sent over the winning tickets
every week. So I'm the one who looks like a
dummy who continues to say that I don't like these wagers,
and Brian just sends up a winning tickets each week.
So definitely on the something here, Brian. You want you know,
(38:31):
you know what I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna take
it right now with you.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Yeah, you go for it.
Speaker 4 (38:35):
Nice?
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Why not?
Speaker 4 (38:37):
You know what I'm gonna back you today? Why not?
We're in this together. You should Kino Smith over half interception.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Yep, yep, just take the over there.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
So it's okay.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
They should just say yes or no. You know, it's
really that's what the bet is.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
That will be a better, better, better word for the public.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Brian, Yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Know, bet and Jim is listening. How do you guys
log into the app about having to put in the
sixth like encode every time? And I don't put that
I have to do that every single time I log in.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
How do I get that? I never do that?
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Do the what is it?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
It's in the settings. It's in the settings.
Speaker 4 (39:11):
I've tried to turn it off and I don't how
to do it. And I'm pretty sure with technology.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
There's a way where you can, you know, just use
your your thumbprint and sign it so you don't have
to enter in the hole.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Yeah, because I don't get that at all. Mind fly
through that fly through that app.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Oh, I need to please let me know seventy texts.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Okay, something, Please let this interception prop hit because if
it doesn't and you're backing it, Jeff, You're gonna be
even more anti reception props going forward? Man, all right,
coming up next, it's a trend that has been very,
very reliable. Will it be today again?
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Ah?
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Yes, Week thirteen and the NFL rolls forward. Twelve games left.
It's a full slate. But we had three on Thanksgiving,
one on Black Friy Friday. We get eleven games today
and listen, this is an intriguing Even though the Bengals
record stinks, this is a I would say, a better
team than four and seven going forward, right, at least
(40:08):
pose more of a problem for the Steelers today. Been
a reliable trend. You mentioned it before, Jeff, Mike Tomlin
getting points as an underdog, especially in division on the road,
over sixty percent of the time the Steelers have covered,
So it's been a reliable trend. Will it be reliable
again today? It's crazy Joe Burrow, the numbers that he's
(40:31):
putting up, like twenty seven touchdown passes, four interceptions on
the season, and yet somehow the Bengals are four and seven.
It's an amazing like, we go so much by quarterback
play in the NFL, and the Bengals are an example
of even though you're getting outstanding quarterback play, this is
still a four and seven team.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
It's crazy, Well it's a four and seventeen because their
defense is atrocious. But also you know, in these winning
moments or they haven't won these games. Look at at
their schedule, guys, it's a lot of beating really bad
football team. So let me pull up just here. It
is right here, so you look at at they beat
the Panthers, the Giants, the Browns, and the Raiders. Now
(41:10):
for whatever reason, they've lost to the Chiefs, the Commanders,
the Ravens twice, the Eagles, and the Chargers, so sort
of every time they've played a team that can punch back,
mostly anything that can play offense, they've lost those games.
And Pittsburgh can move the ball enough to make this
uncomfortable for Joe. For the Bengals defense, we've also seen
(41:31):
that the Steelers defense has given Joe Burrow problems. He
has the most interceptions against the Steelers compare to any
of their team, and they rush the passer well like
they do things that frustrate the Bengals offense. So, guys,
I think Pittsburgh went this team outright, it would mean
I'd lose my win total for them is over. Anyways,
(41:53):
I'm gonna lose that wager. But I do think that
this is a time for the Steelers to really take
control this game. Crack and I like them a lot.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Well, I'll tell you one of the there's only a couple,
and I mean like three sports betting syndicates that bet
NFL sides that I respect, and the one that I
really respect the most is most He has a Cincinnati
minus two and a half, which was available widely around
here around town. But one of the other ones is
(42:24):
on the other side on Pittsburgh plus three. So I
understand it's two types of bets, but uh so it's
it's really makes me think.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
I the reason why I say wow because I'm surprised
he went with Pittsburgh. I kind of think that Pittsburgh
is the worst best record team in the NFL, so
I think a lot of their wins are they had
some lucky wins in there. And and I actually made
a bet the other day. I laid two to one
(42:53):
on Baltimore win the division. I think that's a good
bet Baltimore to win. Yeah, one, but I'll say two
to one. That's what it is almost everywhere. Again, this
is a good division battle, cold weather Cincinnati. I'm glad
we aren't at this one boys, to be honest with you,
it's supposed to be twenty eighth degrees cold. I feel
(43:16):
like I say this every week. But it's probably another
must win obviously for the Bengals they if they want
to remain. I don't even know if they're in playoff
contention four and seven. I don't want to even say that,
but I guess that's what the news sources are saying. Though,
Burrow leads the league, of course in the NFL passing,
but they just haven't established a consistent running game this year.
(43:39):
Without mixing. They ranked twenty seventh in the NFL on
rushing and face at Pittsburgh defense that is a top
five against the run, so that means Burrow is going
to have to air it out a lot today. The
Steelers also lead the league in time of possession, so
expecting to stay true to their run heavy offense today,
the more they the more they keep Burrow off the field,
(44:00):
the better chance they have to win the game. Russell
Wilson should have some success, of of course, in the
red zone today, hopefully we'll see UH with the Bengals
are dead last in the league and red zone defense,
So again, this is a game. I'm probably going to
remain kind of neutral, both of my sources here on
opposite side. So but for me to win my bet,
(44:23):
I'm probably gonna be rooting for UH Cincinnati to win
my my futures bet with Baltimore.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
So I think they're fine there whether they win or
lose to anyways. I mean, I think Pittsburgh schedule is tough,
very tough here, very tough. Look, I I agree with you.
Cracked at the Steelers record, it's probably not indicative of
how good they are. But against the Bengals, I don't
think it matters. Like this is a game where against
(44:48):
Kansas City or Buffalo or Baltimore, and they beat Baltimore
by the way, I feel differently about that. But they're
also on a little bit of a rest. The Bengals,
by alpha bye off a really bad game against the Browns,
so I think that plays a role. Arthur Smith or
O Seed, by the way, turned down North Carolina the
head coaching job there, so there's rumors he's going to
(45:11):
be NFL head coach, which I'm just so tired of
these retreads. Man, he wasn't gonna the first time. Why
is he gonna be good the second time? Hire boy
Marcus Freeman instead? Uh no, No, I'm with you, I know, dude.
This is the age. It's the agent game. It's the
agent game, right. The agents get their names out there,
they get more money from their current schools. That's the
(45:31):
way this is. I don't know why Freeman would leave Nome.
They're going to be a five seed in the Cultural Playoff.
I mean, why would you leave that? Leave that situation.
But I think it's a bad matchup for the Bengals.
I'm sad and cracked. You didn't you didn't include me
as one of the sharp syndicates you trust. Disappointed five
(45:52):
hundred and Crack challenges back to five hundred and so good.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
That's hard to do for anyone listening, that's know what
that is. That's five games against the spreads, you know,
like eight minutes before kickoff, which is impossible to do.
So but yeah, no, I'll have to consider the sports
syndicate for this college football fifty nine percent you say,
fifty nine percent the last five years?
Speaker 4 (46:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (46:13):
Wow, who does that? You know?
Speaker 3 (46:16):
By the way, with this because I agree with you, Crack,
the Steelers might be the worst good record team, yeah,
and the Bengals might be the best bad record.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
Yes, you know.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
But but the thing with the Bengals that I find
interesting is look at a couple of their ugly losses
where against your Chiefs, Jet Jeff, they had the Chiefs
had what like fourth and sixteen. It was something like
that fourth and long. There's a defensive pass interference. The
Bengals lose that game. They had it. I mean, how
many times did teams convert fourth and sixteen fourth and
(46:49):
long like that, right, And then think about both Ravens
games at home in overtime, they had a long they
settled for a long field goal, they got the turnover,
and over time, settled for a long field goal, missed it,
lost the game. And then on the road against the Ravens,
they had a chance to go for two to take
the lead late, didn't get it. So both of those games,
(47:11):
all three of those games are right there for them
to have. And think about how we would view the
Bengals if they beat the Chiefs and swept the Ravens
and we're talking about them seven and four right now
instead of four and seven. But I bring all this
up because there are a lot of times that you
could look at what could have been instead of what
is and all that could have been the Bengals, they
(47:34):
could have been seven and four, and we look at
them a lot different, But that's not what it is,
right Like, so I don't think you can play fantasy handicapping.
And they almost won this one, and they should have
won that, well they didn't, you know. And the Steelers
they won an ugly game against the Ravens where justin
Tucker misses a couple of kicks and just this grimy game.
(47:55):
You know, the Steelers hit six field goals. Yeah, but
they won, but they and the Bangals didn't.
Speaker 4 (48:02):
I know. And I think, look, you are what your
record says. You're obviously right the famous Bill Parcells quote.
But there is nuance to this discussion, right, It's not
just look at when lost records and that's what a
team is.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Right.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
But again, there are reasons why a team like the Bengals,
right like can't win these big games, and it's because
our defense is not very good. And to be fair,
in some of these moments, the offense does have some failure.
Brian does have some failure to close these games out.
So all that be considered, I'm on Pittsburgh and I'm
(48:37):
okay needing Mike Tomlan to cover a spread as underdog
as a favorite. Again, terrible spot to be in as underdog.
I'm all for it here.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Yeah, how about Chargers Falcons where the Chargers are a
one point road favorite. And man, here's the thing. I'll
say this real fast though, Jeff is Atlanta has zero
pass rush, no pass rush, and Herbert doesn't have great
weapons to throw to. It's not a who's who to
throw to. But Atlanta, just to give you an idea,
(49:09):
they're dead last with ten sacks on the season. That's
what their defense has done. Carolina is thirty first. They
have seventeen sacks. Like Carolina is approaching the neighborhood of
double the amount of sacks the Falcons have like leading
the league. It's not even close, Like the top teams
are in the forties of sacks on the season, and
(49:32):
here's Atlanta at ten. And I think it's gonna be
a bigger Herbert game. No JK. Dobbins, no pass rush.
I could see the Chargers putting up some points in
this one.
Speaker 4 (49:43):
The problem is we're gonna end up with I think
the situation where we get like a bartender, like a
just a double fait situation, like bartender and voice both
on Chargers, which is gonna worried me.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
And that's a rough spot that I.
Speaker 4 (50:03):
Think is gonna is what we're gonna end up with, guys,
which is a huge problem because the bartender is already
on the Chargers. And if I have to choose, like
bartender is on the Chargers or the Rams, I rather
think the Rams so look, I'm gonna agree with you,
but the charge me Quinn Johnson.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
I know it. Listen. I think he could be a
higher scoring game. I think the Chargers are gonna score
some points. That doesn't necessarily mean they're gonna win because
this Chargers defense is looked a lot different when they're
facing quarterbacks with the pulse. You know, they had these
great numbers early in the season and they didn't face
hardly any good quarterbacks, and now that they are, things
have changed.
Speaker 4 (50:40):
Yeah, so I I have nothing on this one other
than again, I might end up having to go a
little fade city here on the Chargers because that's my
ethos and these all these you know, these these fades
aren't working quite the same. They've been better last couple
of weeks, though, so I think I think we're getting
back to five hundred here, which will be nice.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
The Chargers had their four game winning streak broke last week.
Of course, you know that by the Ravens in that
Harborall ball. But they showed they are the real deal.
I'll tell you what. They can pose a threat in
the playoffs, and I probably didn't realize and I don't
really pay that much attention. You know, I'll tell you
if Quintin Johnson could just catch the ball, my gosh,
(51:20):
the Chargers might actually I beat the Ravens last week,
but the Falcons are barely holding on to their lead
the NFC south to six and five, dropping last two games.
It kind of looked terrible getting blown out by Denver too,
like thirty thirty eight to six or something like that.
That was the score. The problem for the Falcons is
pretty obvious. They had absolutely no pass rush. Herbert is
(51:40):
very dangerous when you give them time to throw. The
Falcons d can be in for a long day if
they don't find a way to pressure the quarterback. And
just to let you know these type of games, let's
get the current line here the Falcons here, because I'll
tell you, whenever I see a game like this that
toggles around one and a half, I always think, so
(52:01):
it's at one right now, one minus fifteen betmgm. You
know a lot of times though, if it gets to
one and a half either way, by the way, but
especially at home, I would maybe look to Atlanta taking
them for the key numbers of three and seven. But
I didn't do that. But that's lots of times. That's
the way I'll bet these type of games, But for
right now, it's a stayoff game for me.
Speaker 3 (52:22):
Absolutely. That's Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot com sports andandyicapper
Jeff Schwartz with us eight year NFL veteran I'm Brian No.

was leaking oil last week. Is it gonna be the
same situation against a really tough defense today as well?

All right, fellas, we got the Arizona Cardinals against the
Vikings today. Vikings a three and a half point home favorite,
and man, it was an ugly week last week for
Arizona on the road against Seattle. They only scored six points.
That offense didn't look good at all. Running game did nothing,
(53:53):
James Connor did nothing. And today against a really good
Vikings defense. Vikings are great against the rush, number one
rushing defense in the league, not as great against the pass.
You can throw it against them, so they're probably gonna
have to rely on Kyler Murray. Arizona will to be
in this game, be a serious threat to win it.
(54:15):
But man, that was I don't know what you guys
thought about last week's game. You both like Seattle, but
I can't imagine you expected Arizona's offense to look as
bad as it did. They couldn't do anything against Seattle.
Speaker 4 (54:27):
I certainly did not, and you know you could make
the argument that they would maybe do for that type
of performance. Brian right, it had been a lot of success,
you know, many weeks in a row. But yeah, I
mean it was it was surprising, and you know, the
pick six really hurt them, right as we know in
(54:49):
that game. And so you know, cos were of those
teams where we talked with this each each week and
I feel weird sort of saying this and continue to
say this each week, but I feel like we don't
don't know what they are. I can tell you what
the vikings are right there. The offensive line has been
worse since since Sarah Shaw went out, even like bart
(55:11):
Camp Robinson, but you know they have a solid run
game justin Jefferson. They were on the Shanahan offense, like
the defensively pressure blitz, trying to confuse quarterbacks. But I
don't know what what what is the what's the Arizona like?
What do you? What are they? So? I I don't know.
(55:33):
It makes it really hard to wager on them every
game for that reason. I've basically how many have actually
wagered on Arizona much this season because I think it's
just it's hard to do.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
Yeah, you know, guys, we all know that the NFC
North is probably the best division of football at the Lions, Packers,
Vikings all sitting on top of the NFC.
Speaker 4 (55:54):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
The Vikings will need to win the day to keep
pace with the Lions, though, and the Packers are both
one on Thanksgiving. Actually, Minnesota signed h Daniel Jones. Oh,
by the way, let me ask you, guys. I didn't
really read about this, so I'll ask both of you guys,
so does I'm always obsessed with this Daniel Jones contract
and how this, how this? Uh, his agent should be
(56:15):
in jail one hundred and sixty million dollars four years.
So now does Minnesota have to pay any of the
salary or.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
Giants are on the hook? I think he signed with
Minnesota to the practice squad. He signed a one year,
like three hundred and seventy five thousand dollars contract for.
Speaker 4 (56:34):
The rest of the season.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
Yeah, yeah, okay, so the Giants are still on the
hook for a lot of money for h Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
A lot of dead money.
Speaker 4 (56:42):
I think his his base doesn't go over to ever
signed him. I think his base does. I think his
base is paid by because.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
He was released, that's the thing. Like, so the Giants
are on the hook, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
You're on the hook for. Interesting they're on the hook
for obviously the guaranteed money. But the guaranteed money, right,
it's still not a lot of they're on the hook for.
The Vikings don't owe a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
Put it like that, right, But anyway, the ball, of course,
as we just said, he's on the practice squad of
the Sam Donalds still has the ball and as long
as he's healthy. You know, donald has showed that he
can make plays, explosive plays, I guess, but he's also
also shown that he's still prone to mistakes too, so
when he doesn't turn the ball over. If Vikings are
(57:24):
one of the best teams maybe in the NFL, and
they started out that way, at least he has top
notch weapons too, and some of the targets Jefferson, Adamson, Hockinson,
you know, and they he really should have time to
throw the ball today versus this Arizona defense, which has
the second lowest pressure rate in the NFL. So the Cardinals,
(57:46):
like like I said about the Steelers earlier, they have
to control the ground game here and the clock. In
order to win these type of games versus the playoff
caliber type of teams, it should be a good then
it should actually be a good game today though, and
major playoff implications in the NFC.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
So there we go.
Speaker 3 (58:03):
There you go. Yeah, at one of interesting stat with
the Vikings. They're kind of weird in this aspect with
the takeaways and giveaways. So their defense generates a lot
of takeaways, they're tied for second most in the league,
but their offense gives the ball away quite a bit.
They're twenty eighth in giveaways this season, so it's kind
of a weird dynamic with they'll take it away, but
(58:25):
they'll give it away as well. So something to keep
in mind against Arizona. And I want to see Kyler
Murray's done a good job protecting the football, only four
interceptions on the season, and the Vikings they lead the
league with sixteen interceptions. That's what their defense has done.
So something to keep your eye on. I know you're
all about the interceptions there, Jeff, I got my eye
on that one. How about Tennessee at Washington. The Commander's
(58:49):
six point home favorites in this one, Tennessee the number
one passing defense in terms of yards giving up per game.
And that's the deal with Jayden Daniels' a brilliant start
to the season, and he's leveled off quite a bit.
A lot of focus on Cliff Kingsbury, Like what's going
on over here with the OC and his team's level
(59:11):
off quite a bit? Is this a Cliff Kingsbury thing?
Is this a rib injury thing from a few weeks
ago with Jaydon Daniels. I don't know, but he doesn't
look like the same guy he did at the beginning
of the season.
Speaker 4 (59:21):
I've seen this version of this tweet floating around Brian
or thought this week, right, like, what what is it?
Why is Washington Cliff Kingsbury? That's the answer. It's always
the answer. His teams get worse throughout the season, or
his offense is worst out of the season. Go back
to Texas Tech, go back to Arizona and go look
(59:43):
at this season. And yes, you know Jaden Daniel's health
the rookie wall right, certainly, but it's it's Kingsbury. He
gets figured out, and once he gets figured out, no
adjustments are made. So to me, this is a Kingsbury problem.
That's its Kingsbury problem. That's the problem, guys. It's Kingsbury
(01:00:03):
who continually does this, and he's gonna fall up board
again their head coaching job, same thing will happen again,
and we'll talk about this again. Just bookmarked this next year.
Whatever team he's on, Oh my god, they were. They
were seven and three to start now they're another eight
and nine to finish the season. Every year, same thing, Brach.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
That's funny. I thought the press was being pretty tough
on him, but then hear you say this, I don't
think so ahead of the season wins already like like
what they were.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Yeah, but Dan, that's a dan Quinn thing. Dan Byer
just said an update that he's been considered for another
head coaching job.
Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Yeah wow, yeah, no, I said that. Uh, he didn't
get much press at the beginning of the season when
they were rolling a loop, but boy, they are killing him.
And then you came on to it, and I guess
I understand what you mean. This is a repeat performance
of his career. Like you said, I didn't realize going
back to college like that that he was had the
same exact kind of pedigree. So but the Commander's big
(01:01:04):
hype has come to an end this past month. They've
lost three straight and now sit at seven to five.
Last week, they lost a crazy game to the Cowboys,
missed extra point at the end when I've tied up
at boy, there was a great viral tweet about here
in Vegas and our survivor pool. This poor kid, he
needed Washington to win, and they had him on live
and the tickets were worth about one hundred and fifty
(01:01:25):
thousand bucks just to feel his agony in his pain.
But Washington, of course still has the playoff host. They'll
need to get back on the winning track. Today. The
three and eight Titans are coming off their biggest win
of the year. Obviously, also so Daniels has returned to Earth.
We know that last few weeks. The issue for Washington
lately has kind of been on the defensive side too,
(01:01:46):
though Let's not just look to Daniels and the Titans
are wondering if will Levis can repeat his performance from
last week I'm sure or you know, or if he
simply knocked the quarterback of the future for them. So
they have six more games this season to see if
they want want to stick with him next season, even
though they're all but eliminated really from the playoffs. They
did seem to play with heart and a purpose last
(01:02:07):
week versus Houston, So let's see if we're do.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
But man, that Will Levis roller coaster is reaching, Oh god,
because there are at the beginning of the year that I.
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
Thought they were going to get rid of them.
Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
Yeah, the interception against the Bears when they had the lead,
when he shoveled it out to a wide receiver or
the Jets thing and its what is he's doing? The
surrender cobra during the play, you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (01:02:33):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
And then yesterday he was our last week rather he
was balling out Jesus, it's crazy that the the extremes
for Will Levis. I'll give you one other stat on this,
and this is it's hard to even believe this stat
with the Titans defense, So check this out. They're number
one in past defense in terms of yards giving up
(01:02:54):
per game, Okay, number one against the pass, they're number
eight against the rush, and they're twenty seventh in scoring defense.
That is unbelievable to me. How can you be number
one against the past, number eight against the rush, and
twenty seventh in scoring defense. It's because all these giveaways.
They've got twenty one giveaways, that's what it is. Yeah,
(01:03:15):
tied for thirtieth, and sometimes you get the ball as
the opposing team and you know, on the doorstep of scoring.
That's just the offense has done such a bad job
with the defense. If the offense just plays complimentary football,
their record is so much better than it is right.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Now, you're right, you need that's exactly that's exactly the
reason why. It's because it's because their offense has given
them a lot of short fields and picks, and of
course the scoring defense part that is obviously included pick
(01:03:51):
six is and interception returns. So that's that's all that
as well.
Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
Can you imagine the defense on the sideline, like, great,
there we go, there goes our scoring defense number again
with the pick six, We already even on the field
for them. St Yeah, yeah, no doubt. All right, we
don't get dinged at all when we hear from Dan Bayer.
Actually he enhances our lives.
Speaker 6 (01:04:15):
Guys were talking, you guys were talking about the Commanders.
Marshall Latimore has been dinged up ever since he was
acquired by the team. Inactive today, still not going to
make his commander's debut dealing with that hamstring strain. Hamstring
injuries seem to be the norm right now in the NFL.
DeVante Smith of the Eagles has one. He's not likely
to go today against the Ravens. Well Ravens z Onbecker
(01:04:36):
Roquan Smith had his own hamstring issue to deal with.
He will play today against Philadelphia, according to the NFL Network.
Jets running back Breese Hall good to go. He's active
against the Seahawks. Patriots will have to Mario Douglas against
the Colts. Colts will have wide receiver Alec Pierce playing
today against New England. No Josh downs for indy forty
nine Ers. Quarterback Rock Perty expected to start tonight against
(01:04:58):
the Bills, returning from that shoulder injury that forced him
to miss last week. Trevor Lawrence is up for the
Jaguars as they take on the Texans today. Jaguars signed
left tackle Walker a Little to a three year, forty
five million dollar deal. And you guys were talking about
the coaching stuff. Yeah, CBS Sports saying Cliff Kingsbury a
candidate possibly to replace Matt Eberflus in Chicago as is
Marcus Freeman all of Notre Dame and name that Jonathan
(01:05:21):
Jones put out there. NFL Network also reports Steelers offensive
coordinator Arthur Smith as told North Carolina he is not
interested in their head coaching vacancy and just to clear
up the Daniel Jones salary stuff, yeah, Giant's still on
the hook for the remaining thirteen million that he has
owed this season. Gets another three hundred and seventy five
thousand dollars from the Vikings as he was signed to
(01:05:41):
their practice squad. He obviously not playing yet as he
has not been elevated to That hopefully clears up Daniel
Jones contract situation.
Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
Guys, back to you, how crazy is that? It is
Fox Sports Radios Campdown to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM.
You imagine the Giants and the Vikings on a phone call,
you know, like, the Vikings are like, I was signed
him for a three hundred and seventy five K for
the rest of the season, and the Giants are like, yeah,
we're still on the hook for like thirteen million. He's
not even here. That's wild. Hey, all season long, bet
(01:06:11):
MGM's offering you a second chance on your first touchdown
bet in the NFL. When a customer places an NFL
wager on a first touchdown scorer bet and he doesn't
score first but score second, bet MGM will return one
hundred percent of their stake back in cash. All right,
let's do this.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Let's go rushing second chance score.
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
This might be our last opportunity.
Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
All right, we're looking for a first touchdown scorer and
a worst case with this BETMGM promotion. If they score second,
we get our stake back in cash. So we get
a little bit of insurance over here. Crack anybody you
like today?
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Yeah? Yeah, let's go with Jamar Chase going plus five
to one. Again. I like to pick a lower I
tell all the people out here listening, I like to
go a little bit lower odds on this because you
want someone that has a bigger chance of getting the
touchdown because situationally, you get the money back here if
he scores the second one. Let's go Chase plus five
(01:07:08):
to one.
Speaker 4 (01:07:09):
Okay, how about Bucky Irving plus six hundred bucks, former duck,
former duck. Here, really good season so far?
Speaker 3 (01:07:18):
Row the boat also? Right?
Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
What he was?
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
Rowed the boat also before a duck?
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
Yeah, but we don't know that that's that's important. So nonetheless, yes,
I would say I go Buck, I go Buck here.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
How about that Bucky Irving? Okay, nice, I'm gonna go
with Alvin Kamara. He's four to one Saints running back.
You know, dual threat, can run it, can catch it.
So I'll take him against the Rams here today. I'll
go with that one. And by the way, if we
just dive into Rams at the Saints, curious what you
guys think about this? Rams favored by two and a
(01:07:53):
half on the road, and you know, interesting spot for them.
They lost last week and got carved up pretty good,
and this is a This is gots to have its
situation for the Rams to keep pacing their division. Their
their best path to the playoffs is probably winning the
division still compared to getting a wild card. But you
(01:08:16):
don't want to drop to five and seven and still
have dreams of getting to the postseason. I think it's
a big game for the Rams. I think it's a
big game tonight for the Niners. We'll get to that,
but both teams, the Rams and the Niners, at five
and six, you lose and go to five and seven,
both on the road, it's a big spot for the
Rams here got to get a win.
Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
It is a big spot for them. And well again
like they're inside on the road and when alder guys
are healthy, they're just a tough a tough outright when
putting a coop at Cooper Cup and I just I
have a hard time buying this sort of Saints resurgence
(01:08:59):
on offense. Two weeks ago it was it was uh,
you know m v S right, Yeah, do you remember
had had uh had one hundred and and you know
yards and three catches and two touchdowns and he scored
again last week and then last week was two weeks
ago the Taysom Hill. It was just like a Taysom
(01:09:21):
Hill Show. You're like, You're like, that's not it's not
a reliable method to win each week that the tell
the the Taysom Hill Show. Look, I have my my
biased against him, as we know, I don't think. I
just don't. I just don't get it, you know, like
I don't get it. I don't want to be called
a you know, a pocket watcher as a kids say sometimes,
but I don't. I don't get it. Brian uh nonethe less. Nonetheless,
(01:09:46):
I will note this is important to know. I saw
this tweet today, guys, and it's very important to note
this when we talk about sort of this game and
and and how it's gonna go. A prominent media member
of who covers the NFL tweeted out this is important.
How pay attention to this? Pay attention. Okay, Saints interim
head coach Darren Rizzy has specialized on special teams and
(01:10:10):
his work has continued. During Rizzy's first two games. The
Saints interim head coach opposing kickers young Young Ho. It's
Young Waykup, almost a young Ho like like Shannon Sharp
did Young Way coup. Okay and Dustin Hopkins were combined
one for six on field goal attempts. So important to
(01:10:30):
note the Saints new head coach, apparently from the sideline,
is really good at other teams missing kicks. So what
we want to make that clear day the Rams my
kicking problems because the Saints coaches stands on the sideline
with a headset on, and that voodoo him standing there
that has helped them has helped them miss five of
(01:10:52):
six kicks. Also assigned, by the way, there's regression due
for the Saints today and the Rams are private good
kicking game. Yeah, what a ludicrous tweet.
Speaker 3 (01:11:01):
By the way, did the.
Speaker 4 (01:11:03):
Direct deposit from Rizzie's agent hit He's like he said
the tweet. Who a tweets such a thing?
Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
Who cares that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
There were zero kicks blocked? They just missed five to
six field goals and the head coach gets credit for
that all of a sudden. Is that ay thing we're
doing now? Head coaches credit for missed field goals?
Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
Crack? Yeah? You know, uh, these two teams really have
slim playoff hopes. And you know, I shouldn't say that
with the Rams because of what I think Brian said
the division. I guess I really shouldn't say that. But
the Saints are coming off a bye, winning two in
a row after dropping seven straight after that unbelievable start
they had. The Rams rushing defense got destroyed last week
(01:11:45):
by Philadelphia. So Stafford does seem to play better in domes, though,
but how much does he have left in the tank? Really,
they will need to protect him in this game, given
time in the pocket is the key to the Rams offense.
Only six games left here, a loss would all just
knock them out of the playoffs. So the Saints have
been mixing in, like you said, Taysom Hill with success.
(01:12:07):
He has one of my favorite nicknames in the game,
this Swiss Army knife. So yeah, but this is a
game that I'm kind of let me see it opened
up two, it's still it's two and a half now
nothing really, there's a couple threes popping up their dog
money bet MGM minus two and a half, minus fifteen.
I'm just kind of disinterested. Nothing real big in this game.
(01:12:30):
As we see a major line move on the screen here, guys,
unbelievably the Jets Jets up to two now minus two
at a couple places here. Rogers must have gave some
kind of press conference or something. I don't get it.
But yeah, so that's just a game. What we may
talk about here in a bit. But I just didn't
expect them to be the biggest major line move on
(01:12:52):
the screen. They were plus one at bet MGM this morning,
so to move three points this is a very interesting
move to me.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
By the way, I love some of these stats where
you would do a double take and say, really, that's
really a thing. You know, Who's number five in NFL
passer rating this year, Derek Carr oh wo Derek Carr
is fifth. His passer rating is one oh six point four.
That's that's really good. It's completion percentage is good, touchdowns
(01:13:22):
to the interceptions is good. He's playing well, and yet
they're just this like Derek Carr stench of like ah,
Dereck Carr.
Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Right, he's fifth.
Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
He's a top five guy in passer rating this season.
So I don't know. Something to just keep in mind,
keep it in your back pocket, right there. One other thing,
Stafford seven interceptions on the season. He hasn't played badly,
fifteen touchdowns, seven interceptions, but the Saints defense tied for
fifth with twelve interceptions. So something to keep in mind.
(01:13:52):
You got to protect the football on the road. You
gotta protect the football no matter what, but especially on
the road. So we'll see you if Stafford turns it over.
Derek Carr's clean advantage Saints maybe as a home dog
there in that one.
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Give me that Derek Carr number again.
Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
Fifth in passer rating this season.
Speaker 4 (01:14:09):
Yeah, this is a perfect Derek Carr stat because it
just means nothing, nothing, No, they lose lose games every
single season, and yet he's fifth and passer rating, and
yet no one would draft him twenty fifth if we
were drafting quarterbacks for next season. But what what a
ludicrous stat Some of these numbers are just they're just outrageous.
(01:14:34):
So congrats to Derek Carr being fifth and passer rating
whatever that means. I mean, I heard you mentioned that
the Swiss Army knife. I think he meant for Tasom Hill, right,
crack right. He also had to turnovers. Last week. He
threw an interception and fumbled and through a count of
for three offense touchdowns, so five total like EPA worthy
(01:14:56):
determining plays of like success, two negatives and three positives.
Just the Saints. I love nothing more than fit in
the Saints everywhere every time I can.
Speaker 3 (01:15:05):

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
Prop it up player plays.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
All right, prop bets galore, crack. We'll start with you.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
What do you like? I'm gonna get the current line here.
I did write it down earlier though. The Jacksonville Jaguars
Brian Thomas over his receiving yards. The Jacks are talking
about getting him involved more one. When I see that
in any kind of press conferences or anything, I love
to bet the overs on something like that. Not really
like you guys know, I bet a lot of unders,
(01:16:43):
but situationally, this one's at over. Brian Thomas over receiving
yards sixteen and a half at bet MGM right.
Speaker 4 (01:16:51):
Jim Anthony Rifferdson on the road in the cold of
New England under one eighty four point five passing yards.
You know, I love taking these young quarterbacks on the
road in the in the weather, you know, cold weather
obviously Dome team against a good defense in New England.
So I like we're under here, Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:17:12):
I'm gonna look to tomorrow night to von Velay has been
a pretty good rookie receiver for the Broncos. Ta little
Utah action right there, and bow Knicks has looked for
Verlay a decent amount. So I'm gonna take over thirty
one and a half receiving yards tomorrow night against the
Browns defense. Give me de Vaughn Vlay of the the Broncos,
(01:17:35):
and you know, maybe maybe a little peak, Jeff, you
talked about running a bet back time and time again.
This Browns defense they have two interceptions all season long.
I look for bow Knicks to stay clean tomorrow night,
don't throw it to the other team. A lot of
Sean Payton's done a really good job this year with
(01:17:56):
bow Knicks, the young quarterback, because he doesn't ask him
to do more than he's ready to do right here,
right now, you know what I mean. He doesn't put
him in bad situations. So Bo has handled it very well.
I think Sean Payton's put him in good situations. So
I don't think that he's going to be careless with
the football against the Browns defense that has two picks
(01:18:17):
all season long, so I would look at that as well.
No pick for Bo. Are you a bow leaver?
Speaker 4 (01:18:23):
I am. I I took a ticket on him to
win the Offensive Rookie of the Year a couple of
weeks ago. It's not not the best number, but it's
I think plus three hundred is so for that Travis
Hunter Heisman ticket will carry me all through the.
Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
Offense in every closing in you know, he's gaining ground
on Jayden Daniels. Jayden Daniels was like the far away
leader in like the Paul schemes over the football world.
You know what I mean, And uh yeah, bo Nix's
catching ground, catching ground a little bit, all right, the
biggest game of the week. We will get to it
(01:18:58):
coming up. Oh, welcome in happy Week thirteen to you.
Less than an hour away from kickoff. Can't wait, can't wait,
as bart Scott once said, right, they could stop a
nose bleat that doesn't have anything to do with the
games right now. But while we're talking, bart Scott had
to run it back with another one. Right there. Let's
(01:19:20):
go to Philly at Baltimore. This is the marquee matchup
of week thirteen, at least with the games we got
left right still, with the everything else, it still would
be the top top draw. And we've got what Baltimore
favored by three at home. And man, you talk about
(01:19:41):
running games. If you like the running game, you will
love this matchup. Philadelphia number one in rushing yards per game,
Baltimore number two in the same category, rushing yards per game.
Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry. They have been magnificent fits with
both of these offenses. And it's so funny. How often
have we heard, oh, the running back market. It's it's uh,
(01:20:04):
you know, all these reasons why the market isn't robust,
and I get it, but look at the impact, Like
that's what I've always said. Don't fall into the trap
of thinking because the market value isn't there, that these
running backs aren't making big impacts. Saquon Barkley and Derek
Henry have made monstrous impacts with their respective teams.
Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
So let's talk about the running backs for a second.
Because so I'm at running back, which is not really
what I am, but I'm playing with some great run
Adrian Peterson to play with Double Trouble in Carolina, played
with Jamal Charles. I mean, all these great I love
running backs. They made me look good. But the fact is, guys,
(01:20:47):
you can't spend money on a running back unless you
have everything else in place around that running back. Because
I hear this this week with Giants fans or Giant
people within the Giants, Well, we should have paid Saquon Barkley,
we'd be in No, you shouldn't have. You be in
the same spot right now. You have no quarterback. Okay,
you're not gonna win more games with Sakwon Barkley. But
if you're Philly and you're looking for one more piece,
(01:21:10):
Sae Kwon Barkley can be that piece, correct, if you're
looking at if you're looking for, you know, one more piece.
You're Baltimore. Derek Henry can be that one more piece.
But you already the Egles already have everything else in place. Right.
They have an offensive line quarterback in Smith and Brown
and Goddard, and they have a defense like they can
(01:21:31):
add a Saquon Barkley in super charge the offense. You
can't do that if you're the Giants and add Saquon Barkley,
right or keep Takon Barkley, You're not gonna super charge
the offense. I think actually, one place where then the
Chiefs could actually use some help is actually the guy
like Tekewon Barkley in the run game, like the explosive
type of runner, right, Pa Jaco's fine, but not type
of running so so crack. If you have the other
(01:21:52):
pieces in place, I'm for it. But but if you don't,
then having that guy there to me doesn't make you
It doesn't make it any better.
Speaker 1 (01:22:05):
Yeah. You know, like you guys said, I'm guessing this
is Yeah, this is easily the best matchup of the day.
These two teams with real championship hopes. The Eagles are
one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and surprising
is their defense that's been leading the way. Really. The Ravens,
on the other hand, have been one of the worst
defensive defenses all year. You know, they are also the
(01:22:26):
most penalized team in the NFL. I read, so I
was like, wow, both penalties and penalized yards. So that's
crazy to think that you have one of the worst
defenses and the most penalized teams. But they're still eight
and four. Lamar Jackson and Derek Henry, they've just been
and they've been that good. So maybe the Ravens best
(01:22:46):
defense is to keep their d off the field if
they can control the time of the possession, and then
then they could try to keep this Eagles offense off
the field. Like you said, the Eagles offense led by
this MVP candidate now, Sakuon Bark He's having one of
the best revenge seasons if you want to call that,
in the history of sports, given the Giants fans and
(01:23:07):
the owners' nightmares each week. Though still, like you said,
it's like the number one thing talked about on sports
radio there, you know, I was back there. I was
in Philly, I was in New York having some sports
radio on in the background. That's all they're talking about,
is this Saquon Barkley nightmare they're calling it. So this
is one that I'm actually excited to watch. Should be
a great back and forth. The total is still the
(01:23:28):
highest on the board. Me just made it was fifty one,
and it's still fifty one, highest total on the board.
I kind of wish it was tonight's game, even though
it is one of the three later games one twenty
five pm time here in Vegas, Buffalo San Fran. When
the scheduler put that up, I'm sure they were thinking
that that was going to be an unbelievable close game,
(01:23:49):
like you one of you guys had earlier. San Fran
was even the favorite in the look aheadline, and now
we have Buffalo creeping towards seven point favorites. But Phil delvehah,
Baltimore definitely will be the game of the day, at
least schedule wise and points spread wise. And like we said,
these teams, listen, you know, before this week, everyone I
(01:24:12):
respect power ratings had Detroit. I don't want to say
miles ahead, but way ahead. Of the competition for the
best team in the NFL. But as we know, the
parody in this league has been unbelievable this year. After
what I seen defensively, listen, Chicago should have at least
tied the game, maybe even won the game. I don't
(01:24:33):
know who the best team is in the NFL. And
you want to know something, these two teams are in
talks for that. Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Buffalo. Of course, Kansas City,
but I don't know. Kansas City has been squeaking by teams.
But you know, they have a magic thing, Kansas City.
They just win. They have that horseshoe up their butts.
They find ways to win. And that's why I love Mahomes. Listen.
(01:24:58):
He just finds ways to win, whether luck or not.
And you know, as I get older and as I
talk to some of the sharp people in the game,
luck just may be a skill set.
Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
So wow. Interesting.
Speaker 4 (01:25:11):
Yeah, well, so, I'm I'm glad you mentioned that because
I of the firm believer that you sort of make
your own luck. And uh, I think that, you know,
we we've seen often that the best teams again make
(01:25:34):
their own luck essentially, right like that, that's what they
do because when you play a cleaner style of football,
which is often what these teams play, crack, right, the
best teams typically play clean styles of football. It allows
you the affordability sometimes to make mistakes and it get
cleaned up because of that discipline. And also a lot
(01:25:56):
of times, and this is the case, it is you
know a lot of times in in sports, the team
teams often lose games more than win games. And the
better teams don't lose the game, they don't lose those moments.
And that certainly I think happens a lot of times
with these bad teams. Like the bad teams lose these
(01:26:17):
big moments. The Chiefs rarely lose high leverage situations. They
rarely do. And for it's a lot look, the game
was lost because the Raiders made a mistake in a
boat in a stressful moment. That the Chiefs don't make
those mistakes. They don't fumble these snaps and stressful moments.
The Raiders did. There was a poor job by the quarterback.
(01:26:39):
He clapped trying to get everyone set up. Well, the
clap is a snap count, and you screwed up. And
the Chiefs don't have those mistakes.
Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
There's something to that, Jeff, Because you know, immediately I
start thinking, do you always like, how did you say
it create your own luck? You know, yeah, immediately I
start thinking the opposite way. But then I think along
your lines, go back to Week one against the Ravens. Okay,
Isaiah Likely's toe is out of bounds. Otherwise that would
(01:27:09):
have been a touchdown catch Ravens win. And so immediately
I think of that, and I'm like, did the Chiefs
create that? Not really, But to your point, before that,
Lamar Jackson has a wide open receiver in the end
zone and does it even throw it today? He threw
it to somebody else. That's a throw that Mahomes doesn't miss. Right,
So yeah, you could play that game. I see there's
(01:27:31):
something to what you're saying.
Speaker 4 (01:27:32):
And also to the last thing is too. The one
thing that's frustrating me about the way people talk to
the chief season is they say things like Lively's toe
was out of bounds, the Chiefs threw up seven in
the fourth quarter, Like we're acting like the Chiefs game
was tied or they just snuck they snuck by. They
were winning, they were winning, and there's no guarantee. Obviously,
(01:27:52):
the Ravens convert the two point conversion, but people are
talking like that was a foregone conclusion, yeah, when it
wasn't a foregone conclusion. It really frustrates me the way
people are talking about that that game, and you know specifically,
it's not was not a foregone conclusion.
Speaker 3 (01:28:08):
I'm with you because a lot of people take it
too far with the Chiefs. I've heard like after this
last win against the Raiders where the Raiders fumbled the
snap and you know whatever, it bounced off the quarterback,
you know how it went down, and it's just like,
I don't even think the Chiefs are good. I just
think they're lucky? Are you They've got my home? Do
you think you just luck your way to eleven and
(01:28:29):
one in the NFL? Are you high?
Speaker 1 (01:28:31):
Right? Now? Come on?
Speaker 4 (01:28:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:28:33):
I agree?
Speaker 5 (01:28:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
Agree.
Speaker 4 (01:28:35):
The Chiefs thill sort of break brains because we did
a couple of years ago. The Vikings won what eleven
games one score, and we're like, that's not gonna last
in the postseason, and then they lost immediately. The Chiefs
have won fourteen straight one score games. Now, to be fair,
some of those are late touchdown makes it a one
score game, but that's not The Chiefs are always behind everything.
(01:28:57):
You know, the Panders game, for example, throughout double digits
to start the second half, any game became tied just
one on a field goal, Like is that really? It
is a it's a close win, per se. They're up
sixteen three against the Raiders, like they're dominating the game,
and they sort of fall asleep at the wheel and
they win the game by a field goal. Okay, but
a lot of times you would say, hey man, it's
(01:29:17):
coming to it at some point, and especially in the postseason.
I don't feel that way about their regression because this
is sort of what they've done for a year and
a half and when the Super Bowl last, says do
the exact same thing we're talking about now, which is
just sort of lolly gagging through the season, and they're
very clearly upset about it. They're frustrated about it. Travis
Kelsey walked on the field pretty quickly after the game.
They keep talking about needing to blow teams out and whatnot,
(01:29:38):
and they're not happy about the way they're playing right now.
Then the game, by the way, I'll tell you what,
m'd be nice to have a Chiefs game that didn't
end with like some sort of controversy. One official ran
in and looked like he was signaling false start, which
converts to legal to legal shift in that situation anyways,
but his whistle had no effect in the play. Right,
(01:30:01):
the play happened. The Chiefs recovered the football and it
wasn't it wasn't a false star as the legal shift
that no one false started, so the right call was made.
It's funny because no one disagrees with the right call
being made. They're like, well, he blew the play dead
should be dead, but not even no one hears the
whistle like the play. Whole play happened. It all happened
in front of us. We saw what happened. The Raiders
screwed up, and it just would be nice if like
(01:30:23):
a one time it happened without without you know, uh,
I said some crack. By the way, crack, I have
not talked to you since last week when I missed
a show. I'm sorry about that, but I uh, there
was a guy behind me in the crowd. I'm sure
that when you go to games you want to also
like punch people right in the face. Sometimes. He kept
yelling every time there was a flag on the field. Oh,
(01:30:45):
here's a here, here's a here's the Chiefs twelfth man.
It's a twelfth man on the field. The game was riting.
He was at a game that he paid money to
say the game was rigged. The fix is in him,
Like you're paying money for this game. You you willingly
paid money to sit in the expensive CEA know much
to cost them sitting there knowing the game was already rigged.
Speaker 3 (01:31:05):
Right right?
Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
Isn't that bothersome? Imagine you'd be here in Las Vegas
at one of the sports books. I mean, pick a sportsbook,
any sportsbook in town, and you will hear this every
single Sunday and Saturday and Monday and Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (01:31:18):
With the NBA.
Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
You know, nobody can just pick a loser. They're all.
There's all a reason. There's a reason why it can't
be them. It's got to be some kind of fix.
And it's like I said before in this space many times,
the reason why is because we only look at games
by the team we bet, and by the way we
bet the teams. So yeah, I have to tell you
(01:31:43):
it's hard to go. I have to go after our
show today we're filming a reality show here in town
on the Survivor down downtown, which by the way, twenty
nine people had the Chiefs of fifty four, so fourteen
point two million to the winner down to fifty four people.
(01:32:03):
Over half the pool had the Chiefs. This would have
been unbelievable. I imagine the people that had the Chiefs.
And even Detroit, which I don't have a rooting interest,
I bought back into one of the teams, so I
was rooting for the chief I mean for Detroit against
the Chiefs. But it was heartbreaking up for me to watch.
(01:32:25):
But yet, and I'm so happy that Jeff's dog agrees
with us, because no, I love dogs, so they always
seem to bark at the right moments too. You're talking
about the Chiefs winning the game luckily rough roough, there
you go. But and by the way, I see Jeff's brother,
I believe over there ringing the gong at the beginning
of the game. So at the Chiefs game, Yeah, pretty cool.
(01:32:49):
But yeah, this was absolutely unbelievable watching these games. Knowing
the Survivor Pool people which their entries that worked about
two hundred sixty six thousand dollars per entry only cost
a thousand bucks by the way. But if the Kansas
City Chiefs go down, twenty nine people, their hopes and
(01:33:10):
dreams go down, and the value of the survivor pool
goes up to like six hundred and fifty thousand per entry.
So really, really interesting.
Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
Really, that's that's wild. I thought, Jeff, you're going to
say the guy behind you was like holding, that's holding.
Jeff hates what.
Speaker 4 (01:33:29):
Sorry said my dog. I mean, I'm supposed to be
alone at the house and to come. He heard someone
come in the door, which was my family, and decided
to bark and let everyone know that.
Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
I thought I was fired up for the one PM.
Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
Eastern, big strong dog. That's what he's just. That's what
I get. It's just being the crate and be done
with it when I do a show. But I was
being nice.
Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
And and he was.
Speaker 4 (01:33:48):
He was sleeping here for two and a half hours
and nothing. But he was technically a guard dog, So yeah,
I mean that's what I've been told. I don't know.
Sometimes he stuggles like he's a he's a home stuggling dog.
But you know, thanks for going with that. Luckily I
have a mute button, so I was able to just
he barked for like five minutes straight. You heard like
you heard like two of them because I had the
(01:34:10):
mute button down, down down pretty strong.
Speaker 3 (01:34:12):
There, nice, very nice good stuff right there. That's Jeff Schwartz.
What's the dog's name again?
Speaker 4 (01:34:17):
Foe?
Speaker 3 (01:34:19):
So you didn't change it? Is it just well?
Speaker 4 (01:34:21):
We kept the foe? I mean, what, who cares how
many times we actually call him the foe? You know,
zero times?
Speaker 3 (01:34:28):
So what do you call him? Buddy?
Speaker 1 (01:34:30):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:34:31):
Yeah, I could.
Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
Job buddy, I could.
Speaker 4 (01:34:34):
Yeah, but I mean what he knows his name though
his commands are are in German anyway, So he's uh
oh really, oh yeah, we got he's we got him
like he's was pretty training.
Speaker 3 (01:34:43):
We got him, and then we what's an example? What's
what's an example of?
Speaker 4 (01:34:47):
Foo means means come, plots means lay down, sis obviously sit.
Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:34:53):
Yeah, he's very he's a very good dog. He's he's
the best. He's exactly what I only wanted one dog
of my entire life. This is the German Shepherd's the
one dog I wanted, a trained German Shepherd.
Speaker 1 (01:35:04):
That's so awesome though. I love that I had German
and high school sodasa sign throwing. I gotta tell him. Yeah,
I didn't know he was a protect dog till today.
Speaker 4 (01:35:14):
He's I mean, that's what he was bred to do.
We didn't we didn't finish like the go kill people training,
but but that's technically what he was bred to do.
Like he like his when he bites, like a ball
or something. He tried grabbing for his mouth. He like
the neck muscles, like he clamps down on it. You again,
he he just he ain't letting it, ain't letting go.
Speaker 1 (01:35:34):
I have been bred to terrorize bookmakers and terrorize Chinese buffets.
Just to let you know. I don't let you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
I've also that's the way you are with like the
orange chicken, right, yeah, he claimed down on the there's
no getting that orange chicken away from you, correct, Right.
We got Bill Krackenberger from crack wins dot com sports handicapper.
I'm Brian No coming up next.
Speaker 1 (01:35:56):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:35:57):
This is a gots to have its spot for this team.
Will they have it though? As a pretty big underdog
that's on the way. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown

(01:36:40):
forty nine ers at the Bills. That game is tonight.
Bills still six point favorites at betmgm. It's a gots
to have it spot for the forty nine ers. You
lose this game, you're five and seven, and even though
this isn't a gauntlet of a division, I think that
might be your only path to a playoff spot is
to win the division. You don't want to fall to
(01:37:01):
five and seven when you could have a two game
difference between if the Seahawks win, if the Cardinals win.
So it's a big, big game for the Niners. But man,
it's just a tough remaining schedule as well. If you
drop this game and you look at what the the
Niners have left, it's like, man, where are the wins?
How are they gonna get to enough wins to win
(01:37:23):
the division get to the playoffs. They still have the
Rams at Miami, Lions at the Cardinals to close out
the season. So Sunday night in the snow not not
a great spot for the Niners. But brock perty expected
to be back. They got to have it.
Speaker 4 (01:37:40):
Yeah. I forget who who told me this, but you know,
if you if you have a must win game, you
must not be very good. That's a good way. Yeah,
and I'm not. I wish i'd remember who told me
that line. So look, I agree the Dyers have to win.
(01:38:01):
They had to win last week too and didn't get
it done right. But now you're in Buffalo, I did.
Snow is over? Now, Look I have a snow take
I O'Brian. You grew up in snow crack, a little
bit of snow, zero snow, Los Angeles, Eugene, Orgon snowed
like twice, and then Charlotte, North Carolina. Even when I
(01:38:21):
was in Minnesota and Kansas City, it did snow very
much because I just didn't so canna say I don't
think it' stowed really at all when I was there
for the year Minnesota, we you know it's snowed. Very
fun to look at a tweet of the Lake Effect
snow falling and then I see another video of someone
basically shoveling and blowing out there. It just looks the
(01:38:43):
most miserable thing of all time. I have want nothing
to do with snow. I'm okay with the idea of
its snowing. Like if I'm I'm going to Utah the
end of this month, next month, whatever month, we're in
semper first day, and yeah, if it's snowing when I'm
at a resort, I'll live with that. Like we're going
to to ski, I'm not skiing where the family's gonna ski.
(01:39:05):
I'm good with that idea. But man, that just watching
them shovel snow out the stadium. Nope, not for me,
And the Niners are not for me tonight. I think
it's a rough game for them. I had not betting
on Buffalo. I don't think the crack challenge is in
the thirty minutes, and I need I need, I need
(01:39:26):
five teams. But why would I bet on the Niners
in this game other than just saying everyone's on Buffalo
and we're gonna contrary and bet the Niners. Matt Mulano
back for Buffalo's defense, huge addition for their defense. Perty
is gonna play a little beat up. The Bills are
(01:39:47):
off a by Josh Allen's at some of that, some
of that you know, fiance power now he congratulations to
him as he appears to be engaged this past weekend. Crack.
Speaker 5 (01:39:56):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:39:57):
You have to bet on the love, right, you bet
on the love of Josh Allen and uh and it's
growing is now fiance. So I would lean Buffalo or
anything else here, but don't feel strongly about it. You know.
Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
The first thing I have to address is the skiing issue.
I'm a guy too that I'll go and pay for
everyone to ski. Guys like big guys like us, we
just don't ski. We cause avalanches and stuff. I just
don't want to get involved.
Speaker 4 (01:40:23):
But uh, props to hit Today's liked before this this truggle,
the expensive.
Speaker 1 (01:40:28):
I went to white faced mountain ones and with a
bunch of people and yeah, no they're the schimes are
especially Utah they're expensive.
Speaker 4 (01:40:36):
Uh, it's cheaper. It would be cheaper to maybe fly
to Switzerland, Yeah, to ski at Santa Hotel. Yeah, and
then it would then it would to just go to Utah.
Speaker 1 (01:40:44):
Yeah. No, Utah is an expensive place. But uh, don't
cry me a river Schwartz. We know all about you. So, uh,
this is another good, good one we got in primetime tonight.
Forty nine ers started this season as championship favorites, but
now fighting off, you know, really fighting for the playoff lives.
At five and six, they get brock Pardy back today.
(01:41:05):
We've heard the weather is kind of letting up a
little bit, though it should be clear by game time,
by the way, so that could be interesting with that
that total, which is always affected by people singing snow.
But like Jeff said earlier, it's not about the snow,
it's about the wind. I mean, I had a ridiculous
line I was back east. I don't think I've told
you about it because jeffy were off last week. I
(01:41:26):
had like under forty two on the Cleveland Pittsburgh game.
Then I gave it to you guys at under thirty
eight and a half and thirty nine. Gave it to
you guys all on the under, and I was at
a charity event in New York, so it didn't watch
the game. But all I seen was thirteen points halftime,
sixteen points fourth quarter. Next thing I know we lost
the game. I was quarter points and it looked like
(01:41:49):
snowy blizzard conditions. But I take it it wasn't windy. Obviously, no,
they it wasn't windy.
Speaker 4 (01:41:57):
So turnovers. The Browns turned the ball over three times.
The second half was a lot of.
Speaker 1 (01:42:00):
Pittsburgh's points' And that's exactly to my point of why
I bet Baltimore. I think Pittsburgh's a little bit of
fraudulent in my opinion. But going back to this game,
Josh Allen has been nearly perfect for the Bills this season,
currently the MVP favorite, but forty nine Ers still have
the third highest ranked pass defense though, so it might
(01:42:20):
not be as easy for Allen this game as the
last few weeks. So interesting to hear how the books
say the money is still on the Bills minus six
six and a half. I just I don't see it
going back to seven. But I'll tell you if this
goes back, because it opened up at seven for our hair.
If this pops up in seven again, I may be interesting.
(01:42:41):
Let me just see the total. Also here got beat
down from forty seven to forty four and a half.
I'll tell you boy, I am really tempted to bet
this over. So we're gonna see what happens here in
the next few hours. I am tempted to bet this
over six and a half minus some juice. Here MGS
is the only six on the entire screen. I have
(01:43:03):
like forty of the top sports books in the world
up MGM looking for buffalo money right now the only
six in the world. It's kind of interesting. Again, if
this pops up to US seven, I might get involved.
The more importantly, I may get involved in this over
on this game later on, guys, just to let you know.
Speaker 4 (01:43:22):
Yeah, well, I just want to let you guys know
I just made a wager on the Falcons because we
have a bartender voice both on the Chargers today.
Speaker 1 (01:43:32):
Oh, this is going to be just to let you
guys know. What Jeff's saying is very important. I always
say it's just as good to find a losing handicapper
as a winner. These two are are definitely losing handicapper's
long term even though they're running, Jeff, they're running pretty
good this year, right.
Speaker 4 (01:43:46):
The bartender is running good this year. Marge is not
good at sides and totals, so yeah, the voice is
not and not great though.
Speaker 1 (01:43:55):
So so the Atlanta Falcons will be in auto bet
for me, and yeah, I'm gonna be betting a good
amount of money. I'll have a couple thousand on Atlanta
right here.
Speaker 4 (01:44:05):
Yeah, so I'm gonna just sort of just like, yeah,
you have to do it. There's this I don't I
don't fade all the props. I think it's just too
hard to fade the props. But yeah, I certainly will
fade uh all these all these you know. Yeah, yeah,
it's such as life. You have to do it.
Speaker 3 (01:44:22):
You know, Crack you said something earlier where you're talking
about the Lions and you're not sure if they're the
best team right now. And I think about that as
it relates to the Sunday night game where the Bills
are at least in the mix to be the best team.
And I think as most years in the NFL, with
the parody being the way it is, if you're in
(01:44:42):
the mix, it's about getting hot at the right time.
Could the Bills do that. Yeah, they could. They've got
some deficiencies. I don't love their wide receiving weapons. Amari
Cooper does help that, but not as great as some
other teams present and like interior defensively allowing rush yards.
But they're in the mix, right, Like there are a
(01:45:03):
lot of teams that are in that mix. Where I
go back to the Niners. Think about the Niners last season,
they were the team in the NFC and they almost
lost that home to Green Bay, they almost lost that
home to Detroit, and those both those teams were emerging.
They were not favorites like San Francisco was, And so
that's where I think this season is similar, where if
(01:45:25):
you're just in the mix, you got a shot because
there isn't a team just towering above everybody else.
Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
Definitely agree, but I think.
Speaker 4 (01:45:34):
There's teams that are just better though, like he feels
in the super Bowl bubble right now, Honestly, it's five
teams to me, right, That's the Fines, Eagles, Chiefs, Bill's Ravens.
Speaker 1 (01:45:45):
That's right, that's the five you were gonna say there.
We thought Minnesota for a while, but I don't it.
Speaker 4 (01:45:50):
Sam Darnold quarterback that still matters. We're talking about Jalen Hurts, Hikay,
we're talking about Jared Goff who was playing a Super
Bowl for like, he's not Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar
Jackson though, those and then Sam Donald, Sorry you're out, bye, goodbye,
Sam Donald, get out of here. And I will say.
(01:46:12):
The other team is Green Bay Packers that I think
is really good. I was on them on Thursday. Sorry, Brian,
it wasn't the Dolphins cold weather thing. I know you
had the Packers too, they were in my contest, but
part of it, like side note on the cold thing,
I don't think any coach looks more cold than Mike mcdan.
Speaker 3 (01:46:33):
Mike McDaniel, he had a Tom Cofflin.
Speaker 4 (01:46:37):
Was like angry, and he's like angry, like he was
angry in the in the cold, like he's firing angry
like Mike Mike. He just looks miserable the whole time.
I think the Packers are the six team, but I
meant Packers are pretty good. They're good.
Speaker 3 (01:46:50):
That's what I'm thinking though, too, Jeff. If you rattle
off those five teams, I think this way, if you
have just amountain of money, like let's just say you
went crazy and put most of your bankroll. You're like,
I just don't see outside of these five teams anyone
winning the Super Bowl. You're telling me you're not sweating
at all. The Packers, the Vikings.
Speaker 4 (01:47:12):
You know, the Packers would be the sweat, but it
would be a sweat of like are they but are
they going into Detroit or Philly? They did last year though,
to Dallas and they played the Niners, Well, they'd be
the They'd be the one team I would not in
the AFC. I don't fear anyone but the three teams
I mentioned. I don't see any There's just no way
that those three teams unless you know, I mean, they're
(01:47:33):
gonna end up with one of those three teams. I
think in the Anti Championship Game. I mean, and then
you're set. I mean you're you're in.
Speaker 3 (01:47:40):
Yeah, I mean the other teams as it stands right now, Steelers, Texans, Chargers,
that's it, well, Steelers, Texans, Chargers, Broncos.
Speaker 4 (01:47:49):
Yeah, I don't fear. I don't fear Bonus on the
road in the postseason. I don't fear the Chargers, who
charger all the time. The Steelers are just pesky man.
They're frustrated. So maybe there's a just frustrating to watch
part of that team. But there when Super Bowl my opinion,
So I mean the the bubbles like that. I wonder
if I put money on all of them. Probably couldn't
(01:48:12):
make a profit, could I.
Speaker 3 (01:48:13):
Well, hey, let's revisit this in a second, because we
want to go to the soothing waters of Lake dan Bayer.
Speaker 1 (01:48:21):
Have you ever been there?
Speaker 3 (01:48:23):
It's not Lake Minnetonka. It's Lake dan Bayer that is purifying,
and he's got some stuff for us right here, and
it's wonderful year rounds.
Speaker 6 (01:48:31):
It's not just a summer destination, it's a year round
destination for those of you. The lake's frozen over, probably
in Buffalo because of the snowstorm that hits, but the
snow should end in time for tonight's forty nine Ers
Bills game. Rock Perty is going to be there. The
forty nine Ers quarterback expected to start and return from
a shoulder injury.
Speaker 3 (01:48:49):
Trevor Lawrence is up.
Speaker 6 (01:48:50):
He's back from his shoulder injury, starting for the Jaguars
against the Texans today. Jags did sound enough Zackle Walker
Little to a three year deal with forty five million
dollars prior to today's contest. He goes we receiver Devonte
Smith not likely to play today against Baltimore. Roklon Smith
up for the Ravens. The linebacker is back from his
hamstring injury. Jets will have Breese Hall against the Seahawks.
(01:49:12):
He is active.
Speaker 4 (01:49:13):
CJ.
Speaker 6 (01:49:13):
Moseley, their linebacker, not playing today. Chargers, by the way,
yesterday placed at running back JK. Dobbins uninjured reserve, while
the Commanders did the same with running back Austin Eckler.
NFL networks as the Chiefs could get wide receiver Hollywood
Brown back by the end of the regular season, maybe
week sixteen or seventeen for the wide out who has
missed the entire regular season so far with his shoulder injury.
(01:49:33):
And in the coaching news circles, Arthur Smith, the Steelers
offensive coordinator, is told the University of North Carolina he
is not interested in their head coaching vacancy. As for
the Bears vacancy, Cliff Kingsbury's name has popped up the
Commander's offensive coordinator and CBS Sports along with Peter Schrager
on the NFL on Fox earlier today. So that Marcus
(01:49:54):
Freeman and Notre Dame could be a name to watch
in that search Max for staffing. When the Guitar Grand
Prix pull up on Man City two nil in the
eighty first minutes, guys, back to.
Speaker 3 (01:50:03):

(01:50:24):
the air. Kind of like a cruel reality for North
Carolina where I just picture a phone call like Arthur
Smith said, No, it's just like wow, yeah, I don't though,
I know, I know, but it's just kind of like
he's not like this Crown Jewel Tech we got Arthur Smith.
Arthur Smith said, no, thanks, but.
Speaker 4 (01:50:43):
No, yeah, I know that's actually low key not a
bad job, by the way, new job. This just opened
up a pretty I fired Ryan Walters, who was like
one in twenty three in two years again to do
so I think when you lose fifty nine to nothing
in the snow on the road to go eleven. Yeah, yeah,
it was a beautiful little that was beautiful atmosphere last
look in. I loved watching snow games Michigan State, Indiana.
(01:51:07):
Yesterday I played a snow game. It was like the
most one game I ever had. We beat the Commanders
by bazilion points in Washington. But it's nice and sunny today.
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:51:17):
Hey, real fast. The super Bowl thing, yeah, crack and Jeff,
I don't want to make it sound like all fourteen
teams in the playoffs are capable of winning a super Bowl,
because we know that they're not. Okay, But I don't know.
You might be right, Jeff, it might be only that
five team bubble. But I just look at the five
teams that you mentioned in that bubble, KC, Bills, Ravens, Lions, Eagles, Right,
(01:51:41):
And I just go team by a team and it's like,
do you trust Nick Sirianni?
Speaker 4 (01:51:44):
Oh No, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:51:46):
Do you trust the Bills and the Ravens not wetting
themselves again in the playoffs which they do all the time?
Like I don't trust that?
Speaker 1 (01:51:53):
Right?
Speaker 4 (01:51:54):
Well? Fine, the Chiefs will just winning again. I mean, fine, fine,
don't twist my wrist, buddy.
Speaker 3 (01:52:02):
The lucky Chiefs are they gonna luck their way to
another Super Bowl win? Here, Joe, that's what they.
Speaker 4 (01:52:09):
There was a tweet this morning, by the way, that
was the most ludicrous, unserious takers for a Boston person
who was like, the Chiefs are more hated than the Patriots,
who are likable during their dynasty. I'm like, I don't
know what, what are you talking about. I mean, look, no,
I think that's certainly great point. I mean, you have
the Lions who haven't won anything, the Bills don't want anything,
the Ravens who choke in the postseason. Yeah, you're absolutely right.
(01:52:30):
But the Eagles, by the way, have been the Super
Bowl with this coach. I mean, I don't like sir
on it either, but they've actually experienced that before.
Speaker 3 (01:52:36):
And we're on the doorstep also defensive holding penalty away
from maybe getting the ball back and who knows what happens.
So yeah, it will be fun. It'll be fun no
matter what as we get closer to the postseason. But
we'll get you all set for the end of Week thirteen.
Our notes, our final notes. Right around the corner, We've
got the Crack challenge. Crack has his best bet, you know,

Red Zone Radio, Steve Hartman, Rich Ornberger keep it locked
(01:54:08):
here ten minutes away on Fox Sports Radio. All right,
we got some picks to make. Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (01:54:14):
Five games against the spread.
Speaker 4 (01:54:18):
We call it the Crack challenge.
Speaker 3 (01:54:22):
All right, Jeff, moment of truth? What do you have
for us?
Speaker 4 (01:54:24):
All right, here we go. We pulled the odds right
now at this moment. All right, I have the Steelers
plus three. Lock them up. I am I'm going against
Crack here. Oh boy, number is even worse. Well, no,
I don't like it. Well all right, okay, I'll take
Brown's minus six plus six. No Broncos minus six. Oh boy,
(01:54:49):
I'll sick to my guns here. I'll just such a
bad number. Tampa Bay minus six and a half. Oh
my god, it's so bad. Falcons because everyone's on that.
I just spies is on the charger. So Falcos plus one.
Speaker 3 (01:55:04):
You despise them. Goodness, this escalated quickly.
Speaker 4 (01:55:07):
Then give me I'll take uh, I'll just I gotta
I'll tail Crack here. See Seattle plus one.
Speaker 3 (01:55:17):
Seattle plus one. Okay, all right, I don't know if
this is good or bad. I'm on two of these
same picks. Oh no, give me the Steelers. What do
you say, lock them up? I love the tagline from
give me the Broncos minus six. It's just listen, styles
make fights. I don't see the Browns running the ball
with great success and they give up a ton of
(01:55:37):
sacks and Denver's gonna pressure Jameis Winston all night. I
don't like that recipe for the Browns. I'll take the
Broncos minus six.
Speaker 1 (01:55:45):
I think this.
Speaker 3 (01:55:45):
Listen when I'm looking at this Philly plus three, I
get three points on the road. That just seems like
an absolute trap to me. Lamar is great against the
NFC teams. I don't know that Jalen Hurts is the
quarterback that's gonna absolutely dice up a bad pass defense.
I'll take the Ravens minus three. Give me the Titans
(01:56:06):
on the road plus six.
Speaker 4 (01:56:07):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:56:08):
We talked about the Kingsbury fade, and look, man, Jacksonville
still sucks even though Trevor Lawrence is back. I'll lay
the three and a half with Houston. You know they
need to win they need to bounce back. I'll go
with that.
Speaker 1 (01:56:23):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:56:23):
Let's we got more picks. Let's do this rapid fire,
all right, Crack, give us something that you'd like today, buddy,
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:56:33):
Look towards the Atlantic Falcons, the prop market. Mooney over
fifty one and a half receiving yards. He's healthy, been
very productive when he is healthy. I look for him
to get over on receiving yards. And guess what, Brian,
I do agree with your play there. I haven't talked
about that game earlier. I do agree with the six
points of Tennessee. So I'm agreeing with you there.
Speaker 3 (01:56:53):
Oh nice, I like that. Anything else you want to mention, Jeff,
I've Richardson.
Speaker 4 (01:56:59):
Under under No, I haven't made any I mean, I'm
looking at the cultural playoff to numbers for numbers for
next week on Saturday. I like to under the Big
Ten Championship game. It's forty nine and a half. I
think Oregon Penn State. The game is twenty seventeen. My
dog obviously agrees to Yeah, seventeen thirteen something like that
(01:57:21):
to me a low scoring game in my opinion. So
I'm under in that. Look ahead to next weekend because
I know those games. Those games matter too, and I
think I like Arizona State to cover as well by two.
Speaker 3 (01:57:36):
They've been tough, great year, Kenny Dillingham shout out. I'll
go with Steelers running back Jalen Warren catching the ball
at the backfield. Let's get him involved against the bad
Bengals defense. Give me over sixteen and a half receiving
yards for Jalen Warren. All right, we got time. Let's
do this.
Speaker 2 (01:57:53):
This is the best play of the days.
Speaker 3 (01:57:57):
All right, crack, what is it?
Speaker 1 (01:57:59):
Bud first Tennessee Washington over twenty two and a half.
And I do like Arizona State money line next week
as an early one.
Speaker 4 (01:58:05):
Oh a little early from I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:58:08):
I like that look ahead College football wise, enjoy Week thirteen.
