Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you ready to witness?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Quick witness NFL fans, Welcome to the largest tailgate party
in the nation.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Rock from the beginning, right from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
If they're working today, I'm Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by Make It Legendary. We're setting you up with
the information you need to watch your team win. Three
is the in game. We're here to break it all
down hard. This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,

(00:31):
presented by bet MGP No, We're live from your tailgame.
Here's Brian no Hire, NFL vetteran Jeff Schwartz and professional
sports better Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh what is going on? Welcome in here, Happy week
eleven to you. We're underway, already, got the commanders, got
the Finns fins up, baby Madrid style over here. How
about that? We got the Dolphins in Spain tied up
three to three, as Dan Bayer just told you. And
we got all the college review stuff here, great stuff,

(01:08):
rearview mirror. As we get into a good morning, Jeff,
good morning, Crack. All is good? I assume right made
millions of dollars yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
All right, it was my best Saturday of the year.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
So that's the good news.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
I was rainbow.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
For six and oh and then I woke up until
you sail. I scored ten points while I was sleeping
in the Ohio State game, six to him, under seven
and a half points because their quarterback was out and
they scored ten points in garbage times. That is what
it is. You can't can't win them all. But a
good day yesterday, good day if you're the Oklahoma Sooners,
but probably a playoff team, A good day through the

(01:46):
Irish is more teams around the Irish continue to lose.
I had very am over there, no dame though, man
like Brian, they can score a lot more points. Man,
they leave a lot of points out there, and that's
that worries me when they play a better team in
the playoff. So they just they leave so many points
just sitting out there with penalties and turnovers and fourth
down play. What a terrible fourth down play they had yesterday.

(02:10):
But it's worth the point of the college ball season
where I don't know, man, I trust Ohio State. Uh oh,
it's about it.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Trust them. Yeah, I think they're totally overrated. Look at
their slate of games they've played nobody. I don't know
why we're convinced they're a juggernaut. How have they proven
that this year?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Well, the the thing about it is, and we say
this often, right like they've if you're good, you should
blow everyone out, which they have done. That doesn't mean
that they're going to go in the playoff and beat
everyone by four scores. But they haven't played any once
your point, Michigan will be the first test in a
couple of weeks. Really right, And Michigan they offensively if
they win this game, we guess the last year it's

(02:48):
the same thing with Michigan. But Michigan offensively is just
so challenged right now with the quarterback because he's so young,
he's so hit or missed at running back injuries. Right now,
I think I'll State will win that game. But you're right,
ohiose to Indiana will be the first test for Ohio State.
Indiana will have played three important road games. They've been
in Oregon, in Iowa at Penn State. Uh, they'll have
more of a test. But I mean, right now, who

(03:09):
you Brian, who are you putting your money on to win
the championship? Right now? I mean Georgia Georgia probably.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I like Georgia a lot. They're gritty, they do have limitations.
Their past defense can be had.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Is not good in general, but they do enough stuff
on offense and they have the heart of a champion.
And coaches talked about them like, you know, just you know,
they have this like this killer streaking them. Uh to
end the kill hard to kill. That's hard to kill.
So I know, you know, it's an interesting season where

(03:42):
we're gonna have to put an acc team in the
playoffs somehow. Uh, someone's have to be in. You know,
the Big twelve is gonna have one that we're looking at.
What JMU North Texas is the group of five. I
don't know about you, crack, I'm I get it. You
want to have participation of this group with six schools.
Last year Boys State was really good. It made sense.

(04:05):
But to guarantee of birth for JMU or North Texas,
I mean they're gonna Georgia, let's say Georgia the five seed.
They're gonna lose what Brian in a playoff game at
Georgia North Texas Georgia by twenty eight to thirty five points.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Right, Well, that's the thing, man, I think you got
to be ranked, you know, like a certain number, or
it's like, sorry, you just don't qualify. I don't know
what to tell you, Like, there's got to be like
a baseline that you meet, because we shouldn't just allow
the open the doors. No matter what. We don't do
that to the power for teams. Why would we do
that to a group of five team? It just doesn't
make sense to me. I think it's fun to have

(04:41):
a spot, but I think you had got to hit
a baseline and be ranked a certain number or sorry,
better luck next year.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
I'm with Brian here. I think that Ohio State is
It's the team I see the most jerseys and you
know shirts around town in the sports books. People are fans.
People just bet no matter what, who have they played?
I shouldn't say who have they played? I mean they're
two to one favorite to win. You know, let's pull

(05:09):
up the bet MGM watch. But I think you get
that extra tax you get your recipient of if you're
betting against Ohio State in these coming games and the
big game air in Ohio State plus one eighty five
Indiana plus five to one. What's Indiana like eleven?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
And oh they're not winning the championship. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
I mean, how can they like, I don't even look
at it. In Indiana, I wouldn't play them if they
were eight to one, ten to one, five to one.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
I don't want to to do this that much. But
like Oregon's kind of sitting there. Oh, they're just.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Fifteen to one, fifteen.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
They're gonna get back. They're two best wide receivers for
the playoffs most likely who are out right now. They've
played at Iowa, at Penn State, they play usc this weekend.
By the way, that number seven and a half right now,
I would, I would highly advise you to take organ
at this moment because seven and a half, buddy, we
are going to win this game by multiple touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
I don't have a plot touchdown.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I don't have a I don't have a platform on
the I guess I do this next Saturday. If I
wanted to crack, I'm just I'm just crack. I'm just
telling you.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Now, I mean, if they win, it's great, but multiple.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
It's gonna be it's gonna be like thirty eight to.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Twenty every now and then. Every now and then, crack
Jeff is just like trust the Schwart syndicate. I know
you're gonna hate this, but just trust me. It's gonna have.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Seven and a half minus so five by the way, I'm.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Just I'm just I'm just telling you. I'm just i
usc Is is worse on the road. We know that
the scoring output has gone down because all we do
is throw the ball to wide receivers. Their best offensive
line we got hurt yesterday. Their best defensive lineman got
hurt yesterday. Like the dare in the world to hurt
coming organ this weekend's supposed to rain in Eugene and

(06:59):
be cold with eugen on Saturday. Just just doing but
also to like the actual practical thing is that this
is not gonna close seven and a half. In my opinion,
it's gonna close higher. So I think you get you
get a better number.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Two dangling the carrot right now if you have usc
plus seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
So I'm a total I'm just I'm just I'm just
telling you. I would I think, you know, you know,
like a forty one twenty something like that, thirty eight.
They're not stopping us. We're gonna stop them a couple
of times. So I'm just telling you Organs Organs lurking there.
I would rank the contenders right now, I probably go

(07:34):
so I think I'll go Ohio State, Georgia, a M.
Indiana Organ I mean and him. I mean that was good.
I know it wasn't great early, but it was pretty
great late. And that you gotta win. I mean, look,
you're not gonna win every game by a lot. I mean,
it's it's sportsmen. The job is to win. If your
A and M, your job is just to win.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Baby, what a good one.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
They won at the end. Now Carolina should be relegated
to a different conference for the play calling. The play
calling like was pretty embarrassing. But I uh yeah, man,
I'm those are I think the five Brian, I think
Irish would probably be six for me as far as
like win a championship. Texas Tech might be seven. Ish.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
You like Indiana over Notre Dame. If push came to shove, you.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Know, think about Indiana. I just can't. I can't have
this escape right now that they're they're sort of playing
a tiny bit worse every week, Like they're just not
as crisp every week, and it's okay that happens. You know,
this is the best I've ever been in their in
their program history. And to be fair, they're really just
waiting to play Ohio State in the Bigton Champion game.
Like these games, I mean, you win by ten, you

(08:37):
win by twenty, it didn't matter, right, Like, I'm sure
they're working on things now to get ready for Ohio State,
which is certainly fair to do in their position. I
think their office they played Purdue like that's it, Like
they're they're gonna be twelve to zero, Brian. They are
so good at what they do that it's hard for
me to look at it up. You have to play

(08:59):
like a very lean game against them because they don't
make mistakes. It's almost like the way the Chiefs used
to play, like where they just yeah, they just never
made mistakes. Yeah, and then as soon as you do,
they pounce, they strangle you and like they're like a
bowelt constructor.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
We used to talk about that all the time, right
where Yeah, playoff losses, they'd lose to the they beat
the Texans, and the Texans would do something like third
and two falls start and you're like, the Chiefs wouldn't
do that. It was like you'd watch these games over
and over in the playoffs and you're like, the Chiefs
wouldn't do that, The Chiefs wouldn't make that mistake. And
then they self destructed in the first half against Philly.
It was crazy. And yeah, they've kind of been in

(09:36):
this funk. They haven't been as crisp as they used
to be.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
So that's like that. So that's my like, that's my
thing with Indiana is and I think for Notredame exactly
for we're comparing those two No Dames defense gotten better.
I worry about note Dame's offensive line against Indiana where
it's a lot of Jeremiah Love doing a lot of
crazy good stuff and he's incredible. He might be the
best part in the nation right now. That play where

(10:02):
the Pittsburgh defenders dragging him, like dragging behind.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Him, that was price.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
That was price. It wasn't even Love gezh that. That
would be my concern against Indiana. That just plays like
really good zone defense is like, can you can you
win up front in a way to punch a hole
against Indiana to get those backs where they have to go?
But you know they then't even cold score a lot, man.
But yeah, we go back to the beginning. If you

(10:29):
to me not name plays as sloppy as they do
at some points on offense against Indiana, that probably is
not gonna it's gonna be a big problem against them.
So again that's that's sort of where I have Indiana
and not Dame. But it's been a fun year.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Man At two things here. First off, Ohio State schedule.
I mean, just for a segment, we have to look
at this closely because all I hear is all Ohio State.
They're just put on a pedestal, you know, and they've
got a ton of talent. But if you look at
their path, their resume begins and ends with beating Texas
in the first game of the season fourteen to seven

(11:02):
at home. And think about that. All we do is
talk trash about Arch Manning and Texas, and that's by
far their most impressive win. There's not one more impressive
team or impressive win the rest of the way. They
played Grambling, Ohio, Washington, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue,
and Ucla yesterday. They've played no One. They play Rutgers

(11:27):
next week. Right They faced Michigan at the end, and
that's like whoa wow. You beat someone with a number
before their name right there. You beat a ranked team.
You know, I just think that we're going too much
off of the previous season. They won a championship last year,
and we're going by that. They have a ton of talent,
and mixed with them winning it all last season, I

(11:47):
just don't think one year translates to automatic success the
next year. And with their cake schedule, I just think
it's gonna be a shock factor when they're facing the
best of the best in the playoff. I just don't
see them repeating at all this season. I don't trust them.
I don't think they're battle tested whatsoever. You compare them
to some of these teams. Look at Georgia. Georgia is

(12:08):
so much more battle tested than Ohio State is. And
when you get into these close fourth quarter games with
tight Ryan Day, I don't trust them as far as
I can throw them.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah, Look, the Michigan game will tell us a lot,
and then obviously the Indiana game. Well, I mean if
they if they lose to Michigan, I think Oregon would
be in. If Oregon wins the next two games, wild,
I think so. I think so.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
You imagine if they lost for a fifth it'd be
a fifth straight year they lost time.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Actually, I think, actually thinking about this today, I would
I don't know what the number is going to be
for that game. I don't I'm looking ahead.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I think it was actually trying to look at That's
what I was doing.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Now, Well, my guess is that they probably the look
aheads probably go down right now right, and they'll be
back up later today. That Michigan, right, is that Michigan?
I think this year.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Let me get it for you real quick, just yeah,
it's it's in Michigan. If they went into the shoe
and smacked them fourteen something like? What the thing is like?
Ohio State was favored by three touchdowns last season and
lost Michelle Sat this year. That's got to have like
a little something to do with the line, you know.

(13:19):
I think that last year. I don't know, call me crazy,
but I think it factors into a small, small degree.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yeah, so I I I would bet I think Ohio
State's gonna gonna be able to By.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
The way, what would you do to real fast, how
would you rank these three teams? Because it comes down
to eight, nine, ten, right, Like, we've got the three
unbeaten teams one two three, the one loss teams all
move up a spot, right, I've got it in order. Georgia, Texas,
tech Ole, Miss, Oregon no change.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Old Miss, by the way, should not be a head
of Oregon. Not to they have, they have, They've had
some issues, Like they'll be washing State by three points
at home.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, that's pretty wild. But I don't see just based
on yesterday things changing, right, It's probably gonna be the
same as it was. So we get down to eight, nine, ten,
all right, So you've got some combination of Oklahoma, Notre Dame,
and Alabama. The one thing I am strong on, Oklahoma
needs to be ranked ahead of Alabama if you look
at quality wins, quality losses, and the head to head, Yeah,

(14:20):
it's Oklahoma. They've got to be ranked ahead. So how
do you rank them? Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Bama?

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Okay, So it would be Oklahoma, Notre Day and Bama.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
For me, it would be Okay.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Here's the thing about head to head. So it's really
interesting in the NFL head to head matters for seeding
because we have like balance schedules, right, Like that's sort
of that's sort of the reason why, right, Like you know,
you sort of play even though there are teams that
have easier schedules that not. But you know, it's sort
of balanced, and I head to head to determine if

(14:49):
you're not in the division, if you're head to head
to determine, like you know, Buffalo b Kansas City, they
would play each other and may be the one seed
versus you know, the Chiefs to be the two seed.
Right because of that to head I'm okay with that reasoning.
But in college football, I don't know if I think
head to head matters as much matter as this team
and this it doesn't mean they just played, but they

(15:12):
made this point a few weeks ago about Miami and
Notre Dame. Like, if they're this point a year, if
you are choosing who's a playoff team based off of
what happened in Week one, I think you're doing it wrong.
I think you're doing it wrong the team. But but
then you make the case on the other side that well,

(15:32):
what's the point of been playing the game if it
doesn't count for something? But no name is better? Now
they would beat Miami. Now, in my opinion, are you
going to keep them out of the postseason. Let's just
say its hypothetically, Miami or No Dame last spot WO
same record. Are you keeping no name out of the
playoff because they lost Week one with a brand new
quarterback by three on the road when I think they
would beat Miami. Now that's the problem I have trouble with.

(15:57):
I feel definitely in the NFL for some reason when
it comes to head to head, but college football, because
we don't actually like have fair scheduling.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
It's fair because listen, man, if you get two teams
from two different conferences, their resumes are much different. Yeah,
you've got a leg to stand on with that. You
know that argument right there. It might not be the
end all be all. We're talking about head to head
and that sounds crazy to some people. But based on
what else you have on your resume, you know what else.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
I can't believe that there's not a look ahead for
that game everywhere. I just spent five straight straight minutes.
I just figured, listen, there's sportsbooks that have every single
line up next week. Why not have a giant game
I look ahead up. I know it had to be up.
Maybe it's down temporarily, that game had to be up somewhere.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
By the way, you know. I know we've changed things
in the NFL with the dynamic kickoff, and I'm for it.
We at least get kickoff returns and excitement. But I
do miss a good surprise on side right. We saw
that in the Georgia game with Kirby sm the surprise
on sidekick. You know, I'll as Sean Payton in the
Super Bowl against the Colts. I love a good surprise one.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
I love it happened to college all the time. And
uh it's the NFL, the Dolphins of sixty three right
now Madrid. I mean, dude, Tua gets sacked when a
strong wind blows by.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
I know he has no mobility.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
He just it's so bad. Mean they should have they
got down to the three, you like, they just couldn't
get the ball in the end zone. It's been I'll
tell you what. One of the guys I don't think
we're talking about in the NFL who's playing as well as
is a Hm. He is, dude, he is playing incredibly well.
The Dolph dolphensive line has done a better job. But
he's just ripping off these runs. If if you don't
touch him when the first two or three yards he got,

(17:45):
he is second level sixth carries so far fifty five
yards and he has been a fabulous player this year.
I'm curious if you're looking at sort of like live
wagering on bet MGM right now, what is rushing prop
would be at, because I think it's you know, it's
it's locked right now, but I think he could get
you know, it's one hundred and eleven and a half.
I mean he's got fifty five so far. The controlling

(18:07):
the game, I think over one eleven and a half
is certainly playable. Uh, if you're trying to get you know,
get on this game and you haven't done it yet
so far today, I like it.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
We'll get into more of that.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, I remember I sent you that Notre Dame ticket
early in the year, and yeah, that first week I
thought it was over. I don't know, we may have
a shot here in.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
That time, Irish making the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yeah, does that off there? Crack, you're still alive.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
It was in the garbage, I mean down thirty to three, big,
I'm talking about Texas and MS.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Yeah, no, but this can help.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Notre Dame obviously a lot where was against Texas A
and M. You know the loss towards three and six
South Carolina team really hurt their playoff rankings. So I
think Notre Dame takes care of business next two weeks
against a bad Syracuse team, obviously bad Stanford team. Then
they're in the playoffs. So I now that ticket. I
really said, oh what a waste of money. I got
a shot there twenty to one.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
So even said some negative things, you're like touchdown, Jesus,
my gosh and me never the best. You know, you'd
be very upset there crazy good. Now I'm back there
you go, here, be your back, you go, irish. You
know you got next week?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
I got it, Yeah, I did. I this morning bet
MGM minus two twenty organ To make the playoff, you
have to just win this weekend and next weekend, next weekend.
It is easier than this weekend. If you part laid
them the next couple of weeks, maybe get a better
number on the money line, to be fair, but I
think that number is is short because you beat usc

(19:30):
you're essentially in the playoff. You'd be eleven, Yeah, you'd
be You'd be eleven, and you'd be you know, you'd
be ten and one with you know, a trip to
Washington is a fourteen point favorite. So Washington stuff to play.
And don't get me wrong, but I think Oregon win
this weekend.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
They're interesting. Yeah, I just had a flashback to when
they were facing uh, Coach Prime the first time. Remember
they were big, they were like twenty one point favorites.
Cracking was like yeah, Crack was like you went moneyline right, yeah? Yeah, yeah, No,
it was my seven hundreds, like minus seven hundred, right,
should be way mong Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
I was driving all over town. All the public loved, loved,
you know, Coach Prime. They look it was just such
value and I never play that lay that much juice.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
So oh that was a great one.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
That's great.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
All right, we're off and running. We've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran as
a tight end shockingly is doing work against the Dolphins.
They cannot cover tight end.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
That's pretty bad.

Speaker 1 (20:28):

in game betting if you will. We're in Madrid in

(22:20):
game betting. That's right, we're in Spain. The command has
just missed a kick wide right. I laughed. I have
flashbacks to Cincinnati when we were doing the show. What
a couple of years ago, right, and crag. We'll just
look at the screen and go miss left, and the
guy will miss left. He might need it for like
a first quarter or first half bet, you know. But anyway,

(22:43):
Washington missed wide right. Dolphins still leads six to three.
How about in game plays? Anything catch your eye here?

Speaker 3 (22:50):
I mean I mentioned earlier. I think the rushing for
eight HN catches my attention.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
They're good.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Run the ball this game. I mean too, it can't
throw right now, and I just think that the way
this game is going, both teams seem to be really
committed to run the football, and he basically is their offense.
That's just what this offense is. It's what it's it's
been for a long time. And it wouldn't surprise me
if he rushed the ball well here back after this game.

(23:18):
So uh, it's just it's just this game is just
gross crack. It's I don't know if you have to
sign this one or anything.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
I don't have it on the background. Just going by
the bet MGM live odds here, just looking at up
six to three. I guess there's about six minutes left
in the second quarter, and MGM is minus two and
a half minus a quarter, a very strange total of
thirty eight and a half when the market is forty
uh so thirty eight and a half over a dollar eighteen.

(23:47):
And I know a six to three game looks automatically,
it would look like, oh, this is a good grind
out type of game, easy under. I'm a market handicapper
sometimes in these in these kind of situations, So just
looking at that, I would look at the over there,
but again not betting it, not watching the game in
the background, So I really don't have a minus two

(24:09):
and a half. Minus thirty's pretty interesting compared to I
guess compared to market a little bit. But the thirty
eight and a half would just make me look at
the over right away because the public's looking at the under.
Probably I don't know where Washington has the ball. Where's
Washington back?

Speaker 3 (24:24):
That's a thirty right now, crack. If I were to
take you from where you're at right now and transport
you to Madrid, and I gave you the ball behind
the Dolphins offensive line, I think you would have more
mobility than their quarterback. He knows the movement skills of
an aircraft carrier. It's crazy, man can't it doesn't. He
doesn't move.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
You know, it's crazy. I just looked up his age
because of what you're just saying right there, Jeff. He
can't escape from anybody. He's not even twenty eight. He's
still twenty seven years old. Right now. He's moving around
like he's forty three. He can't move at all. It's crazy. Wow,
And it's one thing, I get it.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Right.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
If whatever, he tucks it and runs and he picks
up four yards and there's anybody in a different colored uniform,
it's time to slide, like, just don't take a chance
with the concussion issues. I get it. But he's in
the pocket and there's a like a blitzer. Right, there's
a guy from the secondary. There's a corner blitz and
he's just like he's got cement blocks for feet. He

(25:28):
can't move. It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
I'm just saying, wow, because the contract these guys got.
He got that, oh yeah, got fifty plus million a year, right.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
I know it's crazy, man, don't unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
This guy can't even hear Wow.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
These teams, man, these teams, time and time and time again,
they're just like, you know what it's he's he's serviceable,
you know, he's good ish. Let's just pay him like
he's elite. It's a horrible idea, man, I know that
Plan B is scary, and you don't want to go
back to the draft. The unknown is scary. I always
argue the known is scary. You can't pay to with

(26:01):
this type of money. He's not worth it. He just isn't.
He needs so much help around him to be a
functioning NFL quarterback and they're just not gonna be able
to do that. They have to cut so many corners,
paying him the way they are, it's just never gonna
work like that.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
What are you gonna do a quarterback or the Dolphins?

Speaker 1 (26:19):
You gotta look to the draft or it's some type
of reclamation project. You know, you're hoping to get lucky
with the Daniel Jones type. You're gonna have two of
their next year unless you pull the Broncos, you know,
like when they you know, got rid of Russell Wilson
and ate all that money. Unless you do that, You
got Tua for one more year. Yeah, you're on the
hook for like fifty four mil Jesus next year. So

(26:44):
best case scenario two is back and they draft a
young guy and hopefully something works out. But uh yeah,
it's like their future is not with Tua and they're
they're joined to the hip with him right now. There's
nothing they can do. And they did it to themselves
with that contract extent. I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Man.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Teams used to use the the franchise tag used the
franchise instead of going uh with a huge contract extension
multi year if you're not sold in the guy, and
they couldn't be sold on to with his injury history
and all of that. Just slapped the franchise tag on him.
I know it's expensive, but it's better than committing as

(27:23):
fully as you do with the long term extension. You're
just completely joined to that quarterback when you do that.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
How this team double up Buffalo? I didn't watch the nothing.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
About the NFL. Man, that's the way it's old.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
I ain't given something anything, Cannion will.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
I guess they ran the ball like crazy, crack.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
I mean the giant, the whole.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
It's it's what well the thing is Brian just mentioned
like they the Dolphins stuck to the game, but the
Chiefs didn't run the football. It made it made no sense.
By the way, there was a holding on the punt return, Crack.
So Washington has the ball at the the minus five,
So okay, they got a long way to go here
to get some points. But the game playing in Buffalo

(28:08):
just run the football and Chiefs just didn't do it.
Miami did it, Atlanta did it. I'm curious to they
have Tampa Bay. I believe Bucky Irving, still not back yet,
decides to run the football that never keeps getting hired,
and hire has a lot of Buffalo money coming in
and I don't see it. I don't see it. So
we'll talk about this game, I would imagine within the
three hours today.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
So real quick, though, guys, So now after you've seen
Casey went into the ball. That game was in Buffalo
when they lost, yeah, two weeks in Buffalo. The next
week the Buffalo loses as I don't know they were
there fourteen point three. I don't know what they were,
by the way, crack.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
By the way, I was sitting next to a drunk
girl in a Vegas airport after missing my flight. Wild story.
But that's just what came to mind with that game.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
But okay, no, I just wonder what you guys, like,
who is this standout Super Bowl winner? Did you notice
the odds went up? That's right up on most of
the teams that you think were the where the favorites.
I noticed right away in the half just no, just
super Bowl winner. The you know, the odds were like

(29:12):
Chiefs were like five to one, now they're six to one.
Eagles worth well, the Eagles were I wrote down a
couple of weeks ago. Eagles were six and a half.
They're still six and a half. The Rams maybe the
only team that moved down from eight to seven, but
like the Lions went up to nine to one, the
Bills went up to twelve to one. How could Seattle
Seahawks be more favorite than the Bills Seattle ten to one?

Speaker 3 (29:35):
Like just prison? Probably prison on the moment stuff. I wow,
you know, I'm I'm of the opinion that you sort
of have to just the champions, the champ until further
knocked off the pedestal, and every year in the NFL
were like, we do this right now, oh Seattle, the Lions,
also the teams, and you're like, well, the champions are
still there. You have to go to Philly and beat

(29:57):
them in the in the playoffs, right like right until
they're in the Yeah, issues, I think offensively, we'll talk
about that game, I would imagine, but they U two
kind of proven otherwise, Like I think it's still the
teams that we think. I mean, until someone knocks off
Kansas City, how do you pick against Kansas City right now?
Tough too, they might not even win today, who knows,
but yeah, you know, I think they do win today.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
We'll pick this back up. Let's get Dan Bayer into
the in the mix over here, Dan Byer with us.
How about this? Now? Do you believe this what Cracks
saying about the fools Gold Seahawks? If you will, Dan,
or you sign off on that.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
You know, I may be a little biased. I think
that the real deal, that they are the real deal. However,
I think the Rams are the best team in football
right now. So that's what's going to make today very very.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Fun, great matchup.

Speaker 5 (30:43):
Yeah, absolutely coming up a bit later on today, and
what a late window by the way, with Chiefs, Broncos,
Rock Purty back for the Niners and whatnot. But right
now in Spain, Yeah, the barn Burner and Madrid six
three Dolphins on top of the Commanders three forty four
to go until halftime. Both teams exchanging field goals in
the first quarter, but in the second Matt Gave missed

(31:05):
a fifty one yarder that would have tied it for Washington,
So the Dolphins still have an edge again six to three.
As the Commander is now getting the football near midfield
with about three and a half minutes to go until halftime.
You guys touched on that Bill's Buccaneers game. Yeah, no
Bucky Irving today despite practicing on a limited basis this week.
Same situation for Chris Godwin, He's not back yet. For Tampa,

(31:26):
Bills have a different situation on their hands. NFL ins
heed Jordan Schultz is saying that wide receiver key On
Coleman is not going to play today. Coaches decision would
be the reason for that matchup in Buffalo. Falcons and
Panthers coming up in Atlanta. Drake London expected to go
in that NFC South showdown. Rams wide receiver Devonte Adams

(31:46):
playing against the Seahawks today. Don't expect to see Jaguars
wide receiver Brian Thomas Junior against the Chargers. And the
Patriots got a win on Thursday, but they lost defensive
tackle Milton Williams to a high ankle sprain. Team placed
him on injured Regions and Well Dolph no DP World
Tour Championship wrapped up in Dubai. Matt Fitzpatrick tops Rory
McElroy on the first playoff hold to win the event,

(32:08):
but McElroy wins the entire Tour championship. It's his fourth
straight seventh Order of Merit for McElroy, passing Sevy Biasteros
for second all time. Colin Montgomery has eight. So big
day for Rory McElroy over the seas, despite overseas, despite
not winning that tournament today and the commanders continued to
drive now in Dolphin's territory, guys, getting closer to that

(32:30):
two minute warning back to.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
You, man, that is the worst dismount date ever there
my fans like the Washington's continuing to come to drive
right methodically down the field. Now he's just giving you
the news right there.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
But fairly Earth is already over now in the first.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Gotta be, man, they can't cover tight ends.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
That's gotta be. He had twenty five before that catch.
I think that's got to be another fifteen.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
So yeah, he's just going to continue to eat each week.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Man, the same thing with them each week. They cannot
cover tight end. He's got thirty nine already. It's just
they just don't do it. They don't cover tight ends
every week.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
By the way, that was a gross, gross beat for
you last week when you had Oh yeah, Dalton Kincaid,
he's he's cruising over you know, and he had an
easy catch, just like a little you know, we call
it like a two ball, you know, like we put
a little air underneath it, right in his hands, little
basket catch, you know, boop.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
It was right.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
It was pouring rain, it was.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Ish, but you know, he took his gloves off and
that didn't work out, and then he had a hammy.
Then he had a hamstring injuries. He's out of the game,
and it just didn't quite get there. That's disgusting when
it's like that.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
Jeff, was that on my list? I don't even remember
last week?

Speaker 3 (33:48):
Yeah, I think it was. Yeah. I mean that that's
a wager that I tend to make every week. At
least I give it out. I mean, you know, like
I think I gave out on a different podcast this week,
like over. So hopefully he doesn't have the same fate
that that happens here. We'll see it though, Still lot
game with Filka. Think about these props. Man is like
he's got thirty nine. Now he might end up with

(34:09):
forty Four's the way second half goes.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Who knows, you know, I'll add to the mix, you know,
I'm just looking at the props real quick. We got
to get Jalen Waddle in here. I'll take over sixty
three and a half. He's been so so good for
the Dolphins. That Washington secondary is brutal. They've been getting
eaten alive by wide receivers steadily throughout the year. The Raiders.
Trey Tucker had one hundred and forty five yards and

(34:33):
three touchdown catches. Trey Tucker not upper echelon, you know,
not like a top ten guy like hot knife through
butter through that secondary. So I'll go with Waddle. He's
got a couple of catches live there right now, Yeah,
live prop sixty three and a half.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Yeah, and you also might get a little two minute
draw right here with the Dolphins getting the ball and
having to go on the field.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Little that's right.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
Yeah, you have to get that yeah equation.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
If you get it in now, if you get in now,
you have a chance.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Yeah, Yeah, you got a shot. Got a shot right there?

Speaker 4 (35:03):
All right?

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Good, Okay, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Check this out our late ladder.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yes, it is the platter. We have one selection for you.
We pull it together for a greater payout. Crack and
start with you, the Master of ceremonies. What do you
have for us, buddy?

Speaker 4 (36:20):
We're gonna go uh Carolina's quarterback after last week embarrassed,
embarrassment really last week from Carolina, after going into Green
Bay and upsetting them, going home and laying an egg
first one of the worst teams in football. The Saints
give me young overpassing yards over one sixty six. I

(36:41):
like his over this week. I think he comes out,
you know, comes out and you know, tries to get
some yards after last week's embarrassed and Loston home.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Okay, all right, I'll have the Giants heer plus seven.
What the Packer has done to earn a seven being
a seven point favor on the road their last seven games,
they've covered just one of them that have not been
playing good football, right, It's a lost the Browns by three,

(37:09):
a tie the Cowboys, a non cover against the Bengals,
a late comeback to beat the Cardinals by four, not
cover that game they've cover against the Pittsburgh lost, the
Panthers lost the Eagles. I don't know what they do
to reserve a seven being a seven point road favor
in any game at the moment. Giants have their issues,
right Winston starting today, but that defensive line is really good.

(37:31):
I can harass Jordan love in to making mistakes the
Giants against seven points.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
Alrighty, I hear you on that. I'm gonna go. I'll
stick with that same game. Actually, let me just see
if it'll let me do this real best. By the way, Craig,
you had you have Bryce Young? What was it over
over and a half?

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Yeah, if that's the one, that's what I've been over
one sixty five and a half have won sixty seven
and a half. So we can raid the MGM line.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
Okay, we'll do.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Hey, what are you doing some.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Kind of correlation, Brian, Well, I was on the same game.
I just want to make sure. Let me thumb over
to this other. Let me see if it'll let me
do a problem one with Jeff's Yeah, it should, let me,
but let me make sure. Okay, it does it, took it.
We're live. Let's go. I'm gonna go with Josh Jacobs
Packers running back. Give me over eighty four and a

(38:22):
half rushing yards. This Giant's rush defense is chess pathetic,
and this Packer's offense been underperforming for a while now.
The running game has been underperforming all season long. This
is finally a spot where I like Josh Jacobs to
eat quite a bit, so I'll take over eighty four
and a half rushing yards for Josh Jacobs. So if

(38:43):
you go with those three, let's see crack. He's got
Bryce Young's passing yards took me over. I've got over
Josh Jacobs rushing yards. Jeff's got the g men plus seven.
That would be a collectively plus five sixty one payout.
It's almost six to one, well almost true parlay odds

(39:04):
as you'd like to say. They're track yeah six laker, Yeah,
not bad. What do you think we're catching this thing today?

Speaker 3 (39:12):
Let's go all right.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
I like the confidence right there. Of course, it's weird
how sometimes you can do these, you know, it's like
the same game parlay and every now and then they're
like no.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
No, yeah, that one you're gonna be you'd be able
to do because it's it's if we were going Green
Bay and over, it would probably affect that any any
kind of like if you go passing yards over, rushing
yards over and green Bay, Uh, it probably wouldn't take that.
It's too too correlated to get true odds unless it's

(39:43):
under a same game parlay where you get that's already
in the odds, So that's that's the reason why it
took out.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
You know, by the way, just a random thought for
you guys watching this barn Burner, the six to six
halftime score Commanders and Dolphins. I just had a thought
where a lot of these international games, like we know,
these are not two of the top teams in the NFL,
but we've had better teams in international games, and a
lot of the times they're just rough, rough watches. The

(40:10):
NFL is, you know, flirted with the idea of having
a team internationally, maybe like the Jags in London comes
up quite a bit if that ever happened. Do you
think we would see this garbage football in the regular
you know what I mean? Like it's just like nasty
Thursday esque football. You think it would be like that?
It very well might be if we had an international team.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
I would not be pretty. Ah, it would not be good.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
I hate it. I hate these early morning games. Ye
you guys can't like this, these standalone games in the morning.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Oh I'm fine with it.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
Yeahs.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
I wish the quality was better and I wish we
were on like the same feed because I'm so far behind.
I'm like I'm still on first down. You guys are
on fourth down already, by gosh, yeah, all right, coming
up next, it's one of the best games of the day.
We'll get to it. Oh, what is going on? Happy
week eleven to you, and let me tell you it

(41:10):
is a star studded week. We've got some fantastic matchups.
There's a matchup we're gonna talk about in a second.
It's probably like the fourth or fifth best matchup of
the day most weeks would be the best great matchup
to that in a minute. Hey, Throughout the entire football season,
bet MGM will offer all different types of no sweat
tokens and odds boost tokens. Be on the lookout for

(41:32):
no sweat same game parlay tokens, parlay boost tokens, and
so much more. All right, So we've got Tampa at Buffalo,
which I love this matchup, and really, when you look
at these other games like Seahawks Rams is a huge game,
Lions Eagles massive game, Chiefs Broncos another huge game like

(41:56):
this is probably like the fourth best game, and it's
it's a great game with Tampa and Buffalo Buffalo. You're right, Jeff,
The money coming in on the Bills. They're up to
six point favorites now on bet MGM total is forty
six and a half. What do you think? What's your
first your first breakdown of many angles here with Tampa

(42:17):
the Bills.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
So what's funny is I felt this way about Iowa
USC yesterday where I've been in Iowa, but I was like,
oh boy, if USC won this game by you know,
by two and a half scores, I wouldn't be surprised.
Like I feel the same way with this game. Right
to me, Tampa's absolutely the right side here getting six

(42:41):
points down, as you mentioned, But a Buffalo won this
game thirty four seventeen, it would not surprise me, right, Yeah.
But the thing is we have to I think we
have to look at Buffalo. I think we're looking at
them as the same team we fought they are this
season or we're going to be this season, and not
the team they are right now. And you have to
throw out the Chiefs game in my opinion, because that's

(43:02):
a super Bowl. They play the game well every single season.
Outside of that, the last five games have not been great. Right.
They scored twenty against New England and loss they scored
fourteen in Atlanta and lost. Yeah, they beat the Panthers,
who might be the weirdest team all season. They who
knows what the Panthers are each and every week. And
then they beat the Chiefs and they went to Miami
scored thirteen points. It didn't play well. They have legitimate

(43:24):
problems and off I mean they're benching today. I know
it's not reading as a benching per se, but a
top wide receiver from last season who they need to
be really good. They don't have wide receivers. They don't
have Dalton KK today who's out for them. It's becoming
a problem. And if Tampa Bay commits to running the football,
I know they're not have Bucky Yarward, but they have White,

(43:45):
they have Tucker. That's how teams have sort of gotten
Buffalo this season, and I think Tampa will do that.
They have a defensive coach who values running the football,
and I think they're gonna do that today crack. And
so I would take Tampa here in a heartbeat to
cover this game, acknowledging that if I'm wrong, I'm probably
really wrong about this game.

Speaker 4 (44:05):
Right. Yeah, this should be like you guys said that
Brian said, should be a really good game, actually two
six and three teams going ahead to head. Like I said,
this season is kind of in a roller coaster for
the Bills. Two weeks ago, big win over the Chiefs
and lost to a really bad Dolphins team. God, it's
so hard to even think that they sit a couple

(44:28):
of games back from the Patriots, and you know they
really need to win today to keep pace. I am
of the My brain just doesn't get passed that the
Patriots are a big playoff team. So I would think
that the Bills should, you know, catch up to them
here sooner or later. But the Patriots' not nothing against

(44:51):
the Patriots. I guess they're they're rolling along. They got
just that organization. I just but the quarterback really is
a bright star there for for them. I think he
turned some things around. But anyway, let's go back to
this game. You have two of the most talented quarterbacks,
Allen and I'll even put Mayfield in there. Like I said,

(45:14):
whether it could be a factor, there's some snow flurries
up there. I heard like some win. I don't know
exactly what it is, but maybe twenty five mile p
how wins. We've seen the total drop from the opener,
it was forty nine and a half all the way
down to forty six and a half. You know, the
Tampa is still in control of their division and seem
and still in the race for one of the top

(45:34):
two seeds in the NFC, believe it or not. So
this this will be a you know, you need a
win here to keep that going to They're gonna be
without a couple other starters on offense though, Irving and Godwin,
but the replacements is Johnson and I think it's White
and they have played well in their in their absence.

Speaker 3 (45:54):
So yeah, they're not that They're they're that battleship right now.

Speaker 4 (45:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a big factor to But the Bills
can handle the Bucks blowing the blitz plessure pressure too.
They've they've they've had some uh you know for this
year Buffaloes. Their offensive liners just struggled and they got
Allen running around out there. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
So anyway, I'm glad you mentioned the weather though a crack, yeah,
because I like that the Props have moved a ton.
I was just looking right now from last night to
right now, Josh Allen's passing yards PROP down twenty three yards.
That's a huge move. Baker's passing yards prop down nineteen yards,

(46:36):
those are huge moves. They're both of those. Yeah, so
something to keep in mind.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
I will note that, you know, the wind obviously is
a much bigger factor than the precipitation. So if it's
super windy, that's that's one thing. One thing to note
here about about basically, like you know, if you're playing
quarterback numbers are looking at totals. The wind is so
much more important than the precipitation. So if you hear

(47:04):
twenty five hour wins, that that's gonna be a lower
scoring game, right, You're gonna miss a couple kicks, maybe
you might turn down opportunity to keep field goal to punt,
depend on the win situation. So it's it's worth noting
that wind does seem to play a role in these games. Crack.
You mentioned New England. I think the time to basically

(47:27):
get on that, Like I think the first playoff game,
I'm gonna wager very heavily against New England. I agree,
I don't know who they're gonna play. I don't care
who it is. It's gonna be a much better team
to play all season long. That that to me is like,
I mean, if they're the one seed, to think about it,
they can get If they're the one seed, Kansas City
doesn't win the division, Kansas City might go there off

(47:48):
a wild card win to New England to play the Patriots.
I'd be very happy to in Kansas City in that
in that.

Speaker 4 (47:54):
Matchup beat this year, except for they did they did
have to beat Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
Yeah, and they beat Tampa last week on the road.
Otherwise it's been cupcake City. I get it, but those
are two nice wins.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
I just don't. I think we all are in the
same boat of like we just don't buy them come
postings in time. But look, their jobs just to win
the games they haven't from their schedule. They're doing a
good job of that. So you have to cret them
for that at least.

Speaker 4 (48:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
Yeah, and this is another one, right like Jeff, If
another game right like case. If Casey loses today, kissed
the division, good.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:25):
If Buffalo loses to Tampa, bye bye. You're not catching
the Patriots, man, they are. They are racing past you.
They've got two cake matchups their next two games, then
they have a bye week. Then I think they face
the Patriots had face the Bills had to help you
got the Chiefs game.

Speaker 3 (48:42):
The Chiefs probably don't win the division if they lose today,
but there's still a chance, I think because I think
Denver is, I mean, they're well, talk about them a lot.

Speaker 4 (48:49):
It's yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
I'm convinced they're the worst eight and two teams.

Speaker 3 (48:56):
Well, I think I think I sent you the tweet
like by DVA. I think they are the worst team
of all time. So like they're just I mean, Bronco
fans are just like they're rabbit, right. I mean, look,
I just saw a report that they consider this game
the biggest game they've had at home and like in
years and years and years. And when I hear that,
I just think, like, give me the Chiefs. Like if

(49:17):
you're treating a week eleven game as some sort of
thing that it's not.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
That's the biggest thing in the last twenty years. I'm
telling you.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Yeah, the Chiefs are off of buye uh. Now, they're
taking a lot of money today, which I don't love.
But and I just I don't think I can advise
taking like a really taking the Chiefs today. That's a
big number. But I think the Chiefs are absolutely the
right side they're off a buy. Yeah, they need this win.
They're getting healthier. There's all these things I think that
are in there, in there in their way. So I'm

(49:45):
looking forward to watching that game tonight.

Speaker 4 (49:46):
My co host on my podcast, uh, he's a whack
of the genre Lando he uh. He said we gotta
bet something that he made me bet with him. We
split a thousand dollars bet on Denver to win the
Super Bowl, and I was it was the sickest bet
I ever made, going to the counter, but it was
something I agree to do at the beginning of the
season if they went, if they were having a good

(50:09):
record during the season, I said, we'll see what happens
during the season, but I'll just tell you.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
I hope you had a knife on you or something.

Speaker 4 (50:16):
Yeah. It was a donation. It's a donation. I know
it is. Uh And and you know what, the books
like I said, their big their biggest exposure of the year.
One of the books I speak to in town boy,
if Denver does win the Super Bowl, I'm not gonna
say that I get fired, but it's almost a seven

(50:37):
figure decision for his sportsbook. He's like, we couldn't control
the beginning. Everyone was betting. Everyone was betting Denver to
win the Super Bowl, but they're not even It was
a total sucker bet. I found a twenty five to
one eight and two team twenty five to one to
win the Super Bowl. Sounds like it would be good
right away, but I know it's a sucker bet. I

(50:57):
understand they.

Speaker 3 (50:58):
Forget about this fake team. The game is over. You're
in the sports book in your little seat where you
watch the Super Bowl, the Dallas walking with the trophy.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
Oh god, And I just want to present this the next.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
That is that something that we're doing They were doing.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
There not going to get there.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
No, we're not doing that. No, it's that simple, right
like that, it's a great the only the only quarterback
in the last what was Nick Foles? Like you're like,
what how this happened in the last like twenty years
of even Eli? I mean, Eli is gonna be Hall
of Famery. You can argue about whether that's fair, but
like legitimately won a lot of football games, won two

(51:40):
Super Bowls, Like it's it's.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
You get the Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson won Super.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Bowl, but Brad Johnson was two thousand, right, I mean,
it's right, it's and then Nick Foles obviously pulled something
off that was incredible. But I just yeah, okay, sure
it's going to be Denver.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
No, No, it's not going to be. By the way,
this Tampa Buffalo game. Great stat here, the Bills are
only one in three when they're running back. James Cook
rushes for under one hundred yards. And just ask yourself,
is James Cook rushing for one hundred yards on this
Tampa defense? I don't think he is. Well, that doesn't
mean Buffalo is gonna lose automatically because of that, but

(52:19):
that's something to keep in mind with how this game
might play out. Tampa has a stingy rush defense. They're
just outside the top ten. Give up, like, you know,
one hundred point eight yards per game. That's a good
rush defense. I don't see James Cook and the Bills
having great success. And if you don't have great success
running the ball to your point, Jeff, now you get
these hand me down wide receivers of Theirs and they're

(52:40):
not putting great stress on defenses. So I just don't
know that. Yeah, Buffalo is gonna have great success offensively today.

Speaker 3 (52:47):
It's worth noting too that Tampa Bay did not play
well in the trunches last weekend against New England, and
I gotta imagine it's a little bit of pride today
and like making sure that we played better than did
last weekend. He was not good last weekend.

Speaker 1 (52:59):
Yeah, good point. Traveon Henderson with a long run two
to start the third quarter. Yeah, and then they have
the long touchdown to seal the game. Yeah, you're right,
like joy ride runs. So yeah, you're right. There is
a pride factor for sure.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
I'm curious about it. That plays a role in sort
of how Tampa offense. I mean, really, both lines we're
not great, and I wonder if that plays a role
in sort of how they played today, just like the
lack of says we saw last week.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
Yeah, I'd buy that absolutely all right. Coming up next,

So I've got some good news. I've got some bad news,
all right, Jaalen Waddell. Nice thirty one yard reception on
that last Dolphins drive. That's good. It's good for in
game play. Need what eleven more yards for that to cash?
Pretty good?

Speaker 4 (55:15):
Pretty good?

Speaker 1 (55:17):
And then the Dolphins they they got stopped at the
goal line, went forward on fourth down, incomplete pass, no
touchdown for them, still down thirteen to six. Bad news
is we're all Dolphin fans here right on the show.
At least we are.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
Yeah, I mean, I get some more yards, but it
feels like they're just like they just gave up on
giving them any yards. That's that's good, that's good.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
They're like, yeah, that was working. Let's uh, let's include
different we've done today. Yeah, that's that's it for now.

Speaker 4 (55:43):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
That's kind of what they'll do from time to time. Okay, So,
as I mentioned, no Christian Zippolini, unfortunately it probably you know,
whatever they like the Bill counter broke. You know at
bet M Jimmy, he's having to count all these hundred
dollars bills. You know, it's a it's a process. That's
what I'm imagining. I don't know that to be the case,
but that's what I'm imagining. He's, you know, counting stacks

(56:04):
and stacks of cash over there at bet MGM, as
my guess, but in his absence. I just threw out
this topic here, So I want you to tell me,
will either neither or both happen?

Speaker 3 (56:17):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Now, Packers head coach Matt Lafleur. I wouldn't say he's
on the hot seat, but the seat is getting like
a little warmer, right. They've lost back to back games.
The offense looks terrible. They only scored seven points last
week against the Equals. The only scored thirteen points the
previous week against the Panthers. Lost both games. So you
think about Lafleur, and you also think about Bill's head

(56:40):
coach Sean McDermott. Now think about what they have in common.
Lafleur and McDermott. They're on teams that are championship caliber
teams and they can't get over the hump. They can't
win a Super Bowl. They can't even get to a
super Bowl. So when it's all said and done this season,
what's your prediction, will either neither or both be fired

(57:01):
at the end of the year. What do you think.

Speaker 3 (57:03):
Either should we have Lafleur? Who else?

Speaker 1 (57:06):
Just Lafleur and Sean McDermott Packer's head coach, Bill's head coach?

Speaker 3 (57:10):
Either neither? Okay, both of them are. I think neither
of them get fired.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
Neither of them? Okay?

Speaker 4 (57:20):
From there, Yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
Just don't like So what do you do if you're
if you're like Green Bay. I mean, it's a Jordan
love problem to me.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
McDermott, the issue is that they don't have wide receivers.
That doesn't feel like a big germot problem. They lose
the Chiefs again the postseason. Maybe maybe it's a mc
germany problem, but who you I guess the question is
like who are hiring that's better? I think Lafleur is
not all of the problem. I mean, guys are open
man your loves just not firing them. So I I.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
Yeah, okay, you go neither you do two crack you say, yeah,
neither getting fired.

Speaker 4 (57:53):
Six and three, And what's the Packers five and three? Yeah,
you have two teams that are right now winning records
and and and you know, history franchises, and I just
don't think. I don't think if you know, maybe if
the Packers just get run over and have a beat
season from here on out, yeah, maybe maybe he gets fired.

Speaker 3 (58:13):
But after one bad season, after all.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
I don't think he's given us Yep, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I think.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
I don't know. Man, I'll go to be contrarian, and
I like how you laid it out, Jeff makes a
lot of sense, and that might be exactly how it
goes down. But I'll go with either. I'll say one
of these two is getting fired because I can at
least see the recipe for it unfolding. And I think
it's which one, Which one? I think it's so with
the Packers, yes, because think of it this way, think

(58:44):
of it this way. What happened at the beginning of
the season, they were the toast of the NFL. They
won their first two games, They smacked around the Lions,
and they beat the Washington Commanders convincingly, and everyone is
just Packers, Packers, Packers, Oh my gosh, Packers Packers and
then ever since there. Right, so, but that's a big deal.
Those expectations were raised very highly, and now they're starting

(59:08):
to come back and come back and the offense is
doing nothing. To your point, Jeff, it's more Jordan Love
than than Lafleur. But when he's the offensive guru and
you're scoring seven against the Eagles thirteen against the Panthers
at home, we're starting to look in your direction a
little bit more like what's going on here, Lafleur, Like
what's the deal exactly? That's and also the Micah Parsons trade.

(59:33):
You make this blockbuster trade, you get him in the mix.
He's got all these quarterback pressures. They're a sax galore
with you know, Micah Parsons and with Rashaan Gary and
like all this goodwill and then what we're gonna fall
flat on our face and like being the cellar in
the NFC North, I could absolutely see them moving on

(59:54):
if it continues like this.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
He's right about that. But by the way, after the
first few weeks too, I mean, god, it seems like
the last two years, early in this like everyone thought
the Packers were gonna do so great and and it
was actually a risk. You know. I talked to two
different this book managers in town here weekly and that
was the It was the Denver and green Bay was second.

(01:00:18):
That got giant bets after like on whatever week three
or week four, whatever it may be. So you're right,
the exposure to the sportsbooks took a lot of money
on on on green Bay also when they were you know,
high flying, and people said, oh yeah, there was a
primetime game or something and the next day they took
a five figure bet and the Packers to win the
Super Bowl. People are so live in the moment, like

(01:00:41):
something happens. Oh I knew it. I should have bet
Denver to win the Super Bowl. Like you know, like Matt.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Will get so much money, You'll be the Giants head coach.
He'll be hired, he'll be fired, and the next three
seconds after he the announcement comes, his agent will be
called by all seven teams to have a job open
in come be the head coach. I don't I don't
think it's a little four point. Now, you might he
might be a scapegoat for this, and they might say,

(01:01:07):
like Jordan Love hasn't developed enough under your tutelage. Certainly
fair to say that, but he can be hired immediately.
The Dolphins, by the way, gave up a first down
on a third and eight checkdown to a running back
that was a two yard air throw for a first down.
So washing second and ten. Now, this game is just

(01:01:27):
grind to a complete halt. By the way, a false
start on our man. Eart's here. Spain grew grass for
this game like they grew like and they used on
their normal turfield. I think. So this is just a
reminder that you can do this if you want in
the NFL too. We don't have to have turf fields anymore. Guys.

(01:01:50):
You can grow grass.

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
It can be done.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
You can.

Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
It can't be done. It can't be done anywhere you want.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
The NFL makes it, you know, tries to make you
believe it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
It can't be.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
It can't happen. Know, It's like, uh, you know, got
a cement parking lot over here. We can't grow grass?

Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
What you mean, grow grass? Just fine? Everyone can have grass. Yeah,
you know me, big, I'm a I think that every
field should be played with grass every game.

Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
I'm with you on that.

Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
Oh boy, Mariota just got that would be a.

Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
Safety let's go fans up.

Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
But that's what we call grounding. Have you guys know
that there's been a lot of grounding this year in
the NFL, Like there's been a lot of ground in
this year in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
The definition of ground Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
That has to have to call this, right, there's no
way they don't call this.

Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
They said the ball got back to the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 3 (01:02:36):
Anybody who's he throwing to You've.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Got to be outside the tackle box. I don't know
that he got there, did he? H?

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
He definitely didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Yeah, like he's he barely moved.

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Well, the guy sort of in there's sort of a
guy in the same area, I guess. I mean, if
that's not grounding, I don't know what what literally like?

Speaker 4 (01:02:59):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:02:59):
Look yeah, I mean wow, Well, now Mariota's on the
ground too and hurts, so this might be.

Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
What Why is my feed like two days behind yours?
I don't get it right. It's it's crazy. What's happening,
by the way, real fast? What do you think while
we're talking Packers? What do you think about this? Packers
at the Giants matchup? No, Brian Dabele, he's been fired.
How about this? The Giants. They're two and eight for
the third consecutive season. That's why Brian Dable is fired, right, Like,

(01:03:32):
there's just too many losses. And you'd say it's.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
How they lose, man, it's how they lose it. They're
up in these games, they blow at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
Well, that's part of it too, right, They've had.

Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
And Jackson Dark can't stay healthy. It's a big problem.
They the report today that they're asking him to change
his play style. Yeah, you think he's making a valuay
percussion in four games so far this season?

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Yeah, I know, man, it's and he's listen, you can't
you can't last playing that style of no quarterback. It's
just not going to happen. He's trying to play like
Josh Allen, but he's like a more reckless version of
Josh Allen. It's just not gonna last, man. But uh yeah,
we've got Jameis Winston starting for the g Men here.
As you know, Dart's hurt and Russell Wilson's holding a clipboard. Now,

(01:04:16):
it's amazing what's happened to Russell Wilson's career. But it's
funny with Jameis Winston too. There's a lot of you know,
after the game, we're like, oh, Jameis Winston, this freaking guy,
all these chances he's reckless throws. But before the game,
there's a lot of you know, I don't know, it's
he's a wild card. I don't know exactly how to
approach this game here right Like I just look at Jamis.

(01:04:37):
This is first start and how long, and he's going
up against a really good pass rush and Micah Parson's
putting heat on him. I don't know that this is
gonna unfold well for Jamis and the g men in
this spot here. Two straight losses for the Packers be
out for blood, Well, yeah, we thought they would have
out for Bloud last week.

Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
I just think that this game Winston will give him
a spark, a little spark. We didn't have anyone to
throw to, which is kind of concerning. But I think
more than anything else, Like, I'm just I'm not in
on the Packers right now. Again. I mean, they can
certainly play better today, but I don't know what they've
shown you the last basically since week two, week three

(01:05:17):
that makes you think they're gonna play well today. There's
a it's a good Giants defensive line that's gonna get
act after Jordan Love. He's not playing with any confidence whatsoever.
And if I could just get you know, fourteen points
maybe from the Giants, like I got a chance to
cover this game in my opinion, So that's why I
like the Giants this one. I just don't think that
the Packers, the way they're playing right now, should be

(01:05:38):
a favorite of seven points on the road against anybody.

Speaker 4 (01:05:42):
Hey, guys, sorry, I'm doing one of my uh you know,
my agreement when I was to do this show, I'm
gonna betting live in the middle of the things. So
when we got bet MGM is the only book to
have this that I see Cincinnati Pittsburgh under forty eight
and a half live bet here under forty eight and a.

Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
Half under wow defense. That's interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:06:03):
Well, I just think maybe some weather factors there too.
I just got a text from a buddy of mine
and he said, could be a weather factor. The only
line in the country is at MGM, so they may
be listening to me, though every time I do this,
they listen. But anyway, going back to that Giant game,
though you know that line was seven and a half,
a sharp group came in and took the Giants plus

(01:06:25):
the seven and a half. But then I seen the
bounce back this morning. Early this morning, I seen the
books that control the market go back to minus It
was minus seven, minus twenty. They actually went up to
seven and a half the dog eighteen. So I found
there like that. I love it is. So there is

(01:06:47):
some plus seven and a half's minus sixteen fifteen out there,
and that's a key number. And by the way, this
total dropped a ton the green Bay Giants. Green Bay
Giants like forty five, forty five and a half down
to forty one and a half due to some weather also,
but there's there's some wind, there's some cold there. I

(01:07:09):
had a buddy of mine from Central Jersey said, very
windy here today. That's why I went out to forty
one and a half. So I'm going to lean to
the Giants with Jeff though in a in a you know,
windy area, low maybe even a little low scoring game,
one of the lowest totals we've seen in a while,
forty one and a half, lowest total of the week.

(01:07:30):
So I'm probably gonna lean to with with Jeff there. Jeff,
is that going to be in the crack challenge.

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
Yes, that'll be the cart challenge that'll be in there
as well. I just made a it just finally came up.
By the way, we're talking about this game. We'll do
it in the props in fema ide. I made a
prop way during this game and waiting for number to
pop up, and it's up, and so, you know, backup
running backs getting low, low rushing totals seems to be
a good way to play a lot of these games.

(01:07:57):
And I think this is another one where you know,
a backup running back.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
Okay, all right, we'll look to do that pretty soon. Here,
prop it up around the corner. First of all, let's
get to Dan Bayer. Let's get him in the mix.
See what's going on with the latest year Dan.

Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
Guys from backup running backs to back up quarterbacks. On
that play that you thought maybe Marcus Mariota should have
been called for grounding, he was also injured on that play.
So veteran Josh Johnson, veteran of fourteen NFL teams, came
in and took a snap, handed it off and the
commanders ended up hunting it back to the Dolphins. But
that was after all of this happened earlier in the
second half.

Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
In motion, Deebo Samuel left to right, joins two wide
receivers at the left Dolphins prey forty throday and he
catches up to beat Scots a.

Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
Blocking fifteen ten fine cut forward.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Jone took Jnechuck done.

Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
Washington Demodegel from twenty yards out on the pass from
Marcus Mariota when he was in the game. Big one
hundred Commanders Radio Network on the call. Washington leads Miami
right now thirteen to six of the play with two
forty nine left to go in the third quarter in
the NFL's first ever game in Spain. Getting a little
bit more information on why Keon Coleman is inactive for
the Buffalo Bills today. An ESPN report says that Coleman

(01:09:08):
did not show up for a team meeting on Friday,
so that was the reason why he's not there. Another
report says that he was late. Either way, he wasn't
there when he was supposed to be, So key on
Coleman not going to play today against the Buccaneers.

Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
Packers.

Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden is active today against the
New York Giants. Rams wide receiver DeVante Adams expected to
play later on today against the Seahawks. Jaguars wide receiver
Brian Thomas Junior is inactive for their contest against the Chargers.
Knicks forward og Anobi going to miss at least two
weeks of action because of a straight hamstring. Matt Fitzpatrick

(01:09:40):
beat Rory McElroy on the first playoff hole to claim
the DP World Tour Championship event in Dubai, but for
the season long series that went to McElroy for the
fourth straight time. As he wins the Race to Race
to Dubai. It's his seventh overall Order of Merit, second
all time only behind Colin Montgomery, who has eight guys.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):

the Bear the Bears against the Vikings. Vikings two and
a half point home favorites. Total is at forty eight
right now as we speak on bet MGM. Interesting matchup, right.
If you look at the Bears, man, they have pulled

(01:10:41):
out some ridiculous like Broncos esque wins. Let you think
the Broncos winning ugly Man, the Bears, They've cost you money.

Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
Crack. Oh well, I mean I have futures on them
against them not to make the playoffs underseason wins. I'm
in trouble. I'm in trouble.

Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
I like the Viking is a lot today. Yeah, I
just one thing we have to that we can't do.
I think we that we do do is the prison
of the moment thing right where the Vikings looked really
bad last week, but that that final score probably wasn't
as bad as the game actually played out. And the
Bears have won so many games in a row, and

(01:11:18):
they're looking in a certain way. But you know, you
have a Vikings defense that you know it's gonna be
really active in this game against you know we you know,
against Kamala Williams you know, a Vikings team I think
offensively can do enough against this Bears, the defense which
is five but not great, and just sort of the
narrative of this game where it's like, oh my god,

(01:11:40):
the Bears are winning all the game. The Vikings lost
bad last week. It just feels like a narrative game,
you know, And so I I like, I like to
fade the narrative of this game, and so I like
in this game. I like the Vikings that I think
target two and a half right now. They're still good
football team. So I'm I'm all in on that right now.

Speaker 4 (01:11:59):
Okay, you know what I'm looking at bet MGM, the Vikings.
I'm sorry, the Bears under nine and a half minus
one seventy. I hate lane one seventy, but and especially
I hate chasing money and when and I don't never
I raally do that. I mean I don't. I don't
chase money. But I'm under eight and a half wins
now it's nine and a half minus seventy, and looking

(01:12:21):
at their schedule, I do like the Vikings today. Next
week the Steelers should give them a game, then they
play the Eagles, then they play the Packers. I mean
they have a couple of games where you know, up
in the air. But they then they play Packers again.
Then they played the Lions, and they played forty nine ers.
Give me the under nine and a half minus one seventy.

(01:12:41):
I'm going to play that right now. So we're gonna
see if just talking about this it gets me, it
gets me penalized again. The Bears are still not a
favorite to make the playoffs here, so I just looked
at that too. But anyway, this is one of those
cool black and Blue Division games today between the Bears
and Vikings. NFC North is a while. Really, it's just

(01:13:06):
so wild right now. It's anything can really happen every Still,
every team is still in the race. The four and
five Vikings really need a win here to get the
five hundred to stay in this race. To Bears, boy,
I don't want to say they could be seven and
three here. That might be the first time in a
decade you could say the Chicago Bears or seven and three,

(01:13:26):
So if they do win, so anyway, it seems like
Williams is finally starting to turn the corner becoming one
of the really good quarterbacks in the league. He has,
you know, cut his sack rate in half this year
from ten to five percent, is making the right reads
more often. Vikings will have him making some quick decisions today.
Though they also lead the NFL in pressure rate, so

(01:13:49):
you know he maybe today's are going to be a
test for him. I hate to say that. Again, the
Bears have won six of the last seven. I'm looking
at the scheduling.

Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
Wow, who gay wins Man right there? Killywim still holds
the ball too much? Wait, like he pulls his head
down too much. I think there's an opportunity here to
really to look at the Brian Flores defense and think
that they can get after Kilen Williams today.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
Interesting, there's a stat connected to the fugaysee wins How
about this? So the Bears they gave up against the
Giants last week four hundred and thirty one yards. It's
a ton of yards. And Jackson Dark got hurt in
that game, right, it didn't play in the fourth quarter.
But the twenty points that the Giants scored that's the
fewest by any team this season with at least four

(01:14:34):
hundred yards of offense. And so it's just one of
those deals where it's like, how do they keep the
Bengals win was the grossest one where I don't know
how the Bengals gave up a touchdown to Loveland.

Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
Like that that was how. That is terrible, that's how.

Speaker 1 (01:14:50):
But yeah, I mean even that, I know how bad
they are even that for the Bank, that's even beneath
the Bengals, Man, they can never happen.

Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
Totally agree.

Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
Yeah, for what it's worth. Caleb Williams in divisional games
one and seven. That's including zero and two this year,
so divisional game on the road. Maybe another reason to
like the Vikings like you do, Jeff.

Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
You know, I think the Vikings are the right side here,
and again it's sort of just playing the moment, right
You're playing against a Bears team that everyone seems to
love and think that they could do no wrong, and
you're playing them against, you know, a team and the
Vikings that lost last week. It didn't look didn't look
good doing it. But again, I think the end result
last week, the final score wasn't as bad as the
actual game.

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
I just think back to you hating the Lamar stat
of him not winning in Minnesota when he had never played.

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Yeah, I mean that, you know, when you hint icap
a game that way that. I'll tell you what, men,
there's a it's so funny like I had a good
day yesterday, But I don't brag about on social media
because the second you brag about stuff like that, you
end up being really batter over people that that brag
all the time, and the same pers.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
They're just waiting for you to be wrong. So yeah,
a couple of pens.

Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Yeah, so I cannot wait. This person has not put
up a wager yet today. I'm sure they will and
I'll be very happy to take the opposite side.

Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
Okay, all right, we've got a Bill Krachenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian now coming
up next. Prop it up. That's right, the prop betting market.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
We'll compare elongated notes if you will, right, We'll give
you a couple of plays and yeah, just put our
heads together. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by Bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff presented by Bett MGM, and it is time
for the tire rack play of the day.

Speaker 6 (01:16:42):
Woodron to kick it away from left to right to
biblet in the end zone and we squim it on side,
kick onside.

Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
Recovered by the dogs. Recovered by the Dogs at the
forty seven yard line. Cut it off the bounce catch Jones.

Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
Wow, how about that.

Speaker 6 (01:16:56):
One play fake Gunner, gonna keep it roll to the right.
Now throw it to the end zone. Fucky wide open,
touchdown to the tight end. Watson Lucky on the right
side of the end zone, and there's that touchdown to
tack on six more.

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
There it is Scott Howard from lear Field. Gotta love
a good surprise on side. Love that dogs get it
done against Hookam Georgia takes down Texas. For over forty years,
Tyreck has been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Shipped fast and free, backed
by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire installation, tirerack dot Com. The way tire buying

(01:17:34):
should be. Okay, let's get into.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
This prop it up player plays.

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
Okay, by the way Ali Gordon touchdown, Dolphins have tied
it up thirteen apiece. If we head down the final
stretch here, final thirteen minutes in this Madrid game, all right,
crack propwise, what's something you like today?

Speaker 4 (01:17:54):
All right, let's go to the Jaguars. Let's go to
mister Washington over forty nine and a half receiving yards.
I think he's gonna be gonna benefit from all the
wide out injuries here. So I'm looking over on BETHMGM
Parker Washington over forty nine and a half minus fifteen
on his receiving yards today.

Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
Okay, thanking, all right? I like too Christian McCaffrey over
five and a half receptions, it's plus one oh five.
What do you have last week? Brian eight? And we
made that wager last week and thin it was like eight.
He's a big part of their offense every single week,
even if even brock perty is back. That's what their
offense is. It's a lot of throw to Christan McCaffrey.

(01:18:36):
And then I also like Gainwell to be back up
running back for Pittsburgh. Over where is it right here?

Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
Like thirteen four and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
I gotta pull it back up? Yeah, I think I
think gain Well again against the Bengals and is knowing
what I think the Bengals defense is and the opportunity
to get it. It's a thirteen and a half year,
So Gamewell over thirteen a half. It's the back of
running back, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
I hear you on that, all right. I haven't gone.

Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
Just yet.

Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
What do you think about this, Jeff? Especially you. You're
just talking about Caleb Williams to throw an interception? Go yes,
over point five? Right, so just yes? Against the Vikings
it's even money, it's plus one hundred. But it's an
aggressive Vikings defense, right, like different looks, simulated pressures. He's

(01:19:28):
got one of the highest off target percentages in against
his Vikings defense. I it's a good spot. Right, let's
go with you.

Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
I like it. I'm in with me.

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
Throw it in your round Robbins over there, Jeff, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
I haven't done I probably should do something. It's been
a while.

Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
What are you doing? Come on, come on doing so
well the stead.

Speaker 3 (01:19:55):
It's round robin time. Let's do it. I mean I didn't.
I didn't do it this week. I did last can
it paid off and I didn't do it this week.
So I'm due for one on Sunday. Maybe I don't
win any NFL parlays.

Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
Jeez, no chance, hard man, Jeff, what's going on with
the voice we got any picks? What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
The voice doesn't do NFL on the thing. I'll double check.

Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
All right, wowtend NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:20:16):
No bartender yet, I'm waiting for Barton. Seen bartender yet?
I asked Sam. I haven't seen anything yet.

Speaker 4 (01:20:21):
These are some people we bet against, right, he was.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
One in one last week? Was the bartender yet? He
had one?

Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
Was he on the was he on the Rams? Where
did he get?

Speaker 4 (01:20:30):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:20:30):
Do you remember?

Speaker 4 (01:20:31):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
New England for sure? Bland?

Speaker 2 (01:20:33):
Ever?

Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
Leading to night?

Speaker 1 (01:20:33):
All right? Coming up next? This has to be the
worst good team in NFL history. Oh, what is going on?
Happy Week eleven two? You hope everything is going well
for you? Today we have man, this is It's gotta
be the best week of the NFL season, is it not?

(01:20:54):
Some of these matchups? Have we had better matchups than
this in a given week? I don't think we have
when we're talking about right, like Seahawks Rams. Oh yeah,
we've got the Sunday night game the Lions and Eagles.
I can't wait for this Chiefs Broncos game Tampa Buffalo
is a great matchup. There's some great matchup. I think

(01:21:15):
this This is a great NFL weekend, and I would
put this as the top of the entire season. How
about this Seahawks Rams matchup in particular, can't wait for it?
How about this? You've got both offenses and defenses top
five scoring offense, scoring defense, both of these teams top

(01:21:37):
five in categories that that is rare in the NFL,
and they're squaring off against each other today. You know
Jackson Smith and Jigba. You can start there with the Seahawks.
He's got a thirty nine target sharecredible, that's insane. No
other player has more than thirty four percent of his
team's targets. And the Rams, they don't have a very

(01:22:00):
good secondary. So even if you load up on Smith
and Jigba, I don't know it's gonna matter. So I
expect him to eat. I don't love the Seahawks running game.
That that's one thing that's working against them. It's not
very good.

Speaker 3 (01:22:12):
It's just not good.

Speaker 1 (01:22:13):
Yeah, and in this particular match, I don't expect them.

Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
So here's here's here's my here's my here's my problem
with this one in my own brain, okay, is that
we have Sam Donald on this game, on one side
of Matt Staff for the other side. The last time
we say Sam Donald in this game, he turned into
a giant, fat pumpkin. And do we expect that again today?

(01:22:41):
That's my question, right, Like, yeah, it's great when you're
playing Arizona. It's not you don't show show me this
when you're on the road against one of the best
teams in the NFL. That simple. And they're a team
that doesn't run the ball well, so game planning for them,
you know in Miami with a big stop here because

(01:23:03):
Washington get a yard they they went to Earth. I'll
tell you what, Earth's no catches. Second half thirty nine
yards still wow, so worth worth mentioning there. I could
use a one hundred yard run from a Han right now.

Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
But why do they give them the ball? It's been
Ali Gordon left right?

Speaker 5 (01:23:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
Yeah, going on, I just the materennial offense. Many things
I can't stand about it. But part of it is
like the usage of like they line guys up in
a weird place. It is what it is. We're not
talking about that game. So the Rams to me are
playing like I thought they would. We got fooled into
thinking they weren't gonna be as good as Matt Stafford
was hurt in the preseason, that has not been the

(01:23:43):
case at all. He is on track to with the
MVP in my opinion, if they continue playing the way,
it's almost like a lifetime achievement award where he just
wins the MVP and gets it done. By the way,
Shohil Tawny plus two to fifty m v P easiest
money I made in a baseball season I got to
begin the season. I'd used a bonus bet. I bet MGM,
who was like the best money I've made all year. Yeah,

(01:24:06):
there's just no I'm gonna do it again this year.

Speaker 1 (01:24:09):
I don't know why I wouldn't, by the way, four
one out for the big Dumper, like what are we
doing here? Or a judge is magnificent, but judge I
think had it.

Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
The thing is like with baseball now because we've gone
into all the numbers. I'm not saying it's a bad
way to look at baseball, and I'm an m VP
is not often the v the actual m VP. But
I don't know how you don't give it to Big
Dumper and season like he had hitting as a catcher
and leading the Mariners to where they got if you're
not gonna give it to him. Now, Judge is gonna
win every single season, which is the case for Otani too.

(01:24:40):
I mean, and think about baseball. Man, in the NFL,
there's voter fatigue. NBA, there's voter fatigue. In baseball, there's
not They just vote the same way MVP every year.
But of course it's it's a it's two leagues, right,
so you don't have to you know, you don't have
to do. But I mean, Bond's won four in a
row at one point. I think Otani's up to what
for for in a row? Maybe, uh like three in
a row something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
So that's good, that's it's dumb when there's voter fatigue,
it makes no sense to me that's the the MVP
of that particular season. I don't care if this is
Otani's seventh in a row. If he deserves it, he should.

Speaker 4 (01:25:10):
Be the m v P.

Speaker 3 (01:25:12):
Did you see did you see that Edwin Diaz? The
favorite is the Dodgers. Oh yeah, the favorite for like
Kyle Tucker Dodgers. Oh geez, yeah, Dodgers, Dodgers, Dodgers, Dodgers Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (01:25:28):
Yeah, makes sense, it makes sense. But yeah, man, hey, listen,
Seahawks rams are we're digressing. But it's all right, no
problem there. You're right though, Stafford is playing magnificent football.
And this is crazy too. Puka Nakua, he's third in
receiving yards this season. He's missed almost two full games.

(01:25:48):
He's still third in receiving yards.

Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
Oh no, just got like a twenty five yard rush.
That was That could have been my guy. There's not
given h on the balls. He's not going back in either.

Speaker 4 (01:25:59):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
This is the thing that's why gambling's hard.

Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
They just like all of a sudden today that decided
we're just gonna give Gordon the most carriers hat all season.
How do you how do you? You can't predict any
of that. I mean, he's had his last five games two, five, ten,
two and one, right, and today he's at nine.

Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
Now I'm guessing a chan it's a little bit banged up.
That's the only way this would make any sense.

Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
But guys, let me ask you about my friend in Jersey.
He's in like Central Jersey. He's only twenty miles from
the stadium. Though he just said to me, wins in
the Giant game right now. Clock that twenty two to
twenty five miles an hour gust thirty five miles an hour.
What do you think about both quarterbacks under? Yeah, I
mean I wouldn't play him over Green Bay quarterback under
twenty one and a half Winston under to eighteen and

(01:26:45):
a half. I mean, I think it would be a
safe bet. Yeah, I'm gonna tell him that too. But
I just realized what he said here, and I just
and you might as well go to the receivers then
if you're gonna talk about that then too, to even
go further, maybe Watson under or something like, you know,
under yards and stuff if the gusts are that big,
you know what I mean. Yeah, anyway, just the interesting

(01:27:08):
interesting text. This is not from my main prop guy,
it's from the but it's from a second level prop
guy that that's a winning better So second level pro
second level. Yeah, he's second level. He's on maybe third,
he's you know what, the more I think about it,
he's third on the list. Yeah, he's third on the list,
but he's still good. He still will win a couple
of units. Uh, you know, but I just thought it

(01:27:29):
was kind of you know, someone that's there close to
the stadium, you know that. You know, if there is
some kind of gusts down in the stadium like that, yeah,
I'm sure I would say. Yeah, the worst should come
out with was one in one there and hopefully go
two and oh so.

Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
My guy Waddle just dropped the over right there you
need him. The live just dropped right there, right between
the one and seven drop no catch, I.

Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
Mean to throw one of those terrible screens. That means
that just like means nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:27:59):
Yeah, so that that makes me wonder, like, okay, he's
not completely.

Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
Throw the ball, bro, why do you want to get hit?
You saw the penalty flag come out to like this
is the It's just like he saw the flag come
out for a holding. He looked back and on the ground,
It's like, you know what, I'll just get hit anyways.
Why not just I like getting hit, I'll just get hit.

Speaker 1 (01:28:18):
Throw away, right, throw it down field, take a shot.
You know it's gonna be holding. Oh sorry, I confuse
your point.

Speaker 3 (01:28:26):
Right, it was holding on the offense, like it was
very clearly thrown like at his feet, and he looked
back and saw it. It was like, you know what,
I won't throw it away. I'll just get hit. Anyways,
want to turn on the game here?

Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
What's the NFL network?

Speaker 1 (01:28:37):
Yeah, yeah, come on, it's the last international game here.

Speaker 4 (01:28:42):
I know, I just I am so dedicated to this
show here. I don't I love it to take my
eyes off the screen of off you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
Muff punt, muff punt.

Speaker 1 (01:28:52):
Dolphins ball good, so far ahead?

Speaker 3 (01:28:57):
My gosh, Maybe he'll actually get the ball on this
drive if Miami keeps. Oh is Miami's ball?

Speaker 1 (01:29:04):
All right, let's let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:29:07):
Yes, this looks like this. This Dolphins fan is like
number who's number eighty one? It's eighty one?

Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
Is that? Like?

Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
Who would that be?

Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
Eighty one?

Speaker 4 (01:29:15):
A man?

Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
I don't maybe like an O. J. McDuffie, old school,
I don't know, old school, right, Yeah, it's gotta be.

Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
They just showed them pun on my TV. I mean
that far ahead, that's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (01:29:27):
I have a special feet frequent and I thought that
worked was like, you know, ima hook sworts up for
live wager purpose.

Speaker 4 (01:29:33):
That's unbelievable. Football seconds ahead well ahead? Wow? Wow?

Speaker 3 (01:29:39):
They just they want me to be able to live wage.

Speaker 4 (01:29:42):
I don't know he has the ball yet? Who has
the ball?

Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
Dolphins?

Speaker 4 (01:29:45):
Oh? On our TV? It's just they're deciding.

Speaker 3 (01:29:48):
Yeah, no, Dolphins of the ball man.

Speaker 4 (01:29:50):
Wow, well you're telling me we could still win that
prop that's unbelievable. The urch is that what you.

Speaker 1 (01:29:55):
Said, Well we could. We're still alive for wat.

Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
To Jeff, Jeff, didn't you say he was at thirty
nine and a half or something? Yeah, yeah, so yeah, yeah,
you know, you know me, I don't look till the end.

Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
Earth's is still good for the under there.

Speaker 4 (01:30:13):
We have another prop to in that game. How's that doing?

Speaker 3 (01:30:15):
Guys didn't touch the ball game? It's crazy? Oh no, Rack,
by the way, you should tell you so a couple
of weeks ago, Krack had a wager in a game
where West McCaffrey for the for the Commanders got hurt
in the first play of the game as a kick
returner and they tried to avoid his wide receiver props
and I got to change at MGM and got it

(01:30:36):
changed because they like.

Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
It was email them like that they are text. They
didn't realize that he did play was that the first game? Play?

Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
Play the game?

Speaker 4 (01:30:44):
Yeah, so he touched the ball receiving and you have
to understand, now there's so many props you look at
the plays like bet MGM. I was just telling someone this.
Yesterday they put up five thousand bets you can make
for today's games, five thousand. So it just so happens
that maybe Jeff and I were the only ones on
the under on that, and maybe no one bet the

(01:31:06):
other way. So they just see him not out of
the game, not playing, and they just graded it that
way until someone has to correct them. By the way,
it's not only them, it's every sports book sometimes, perfect
example that Westbrook one, which I should in joan now
since we're he's still he's in the game though, Jeff.

Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
He I think he played. Yeah, I think I saw him. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:31:25):
Yeah. Like so now if he has no catches, which
we hope he doesn't now and now sometimes they'll just say, hey,
it wasn't in the game, you know he wasn't you know,
maybe on the roster it didn't play and didn't start,
didn't play in the game. So sometimes you have to
look at the what you have. You have to make
sure they're graded correctly. I'll just tell you this, I Jeff,

(01:31:47):
I make so many bets, Brian, I make so many
bets that I probably don't go back and look enough
at the actual props to see if they were graded correctly.
I should do that. It's so much work, though, and
it just so happens that I knew that he played
in that one play receiving the balls. I said, let

(01:32:09):
me just make sure. And sure enough they graded a. No,
they didn't grade the loss. They just graded no content.
They avoided to play. But it was a simple thing
of talking to them and and they reversed it right away.

Speaker 1 (01:32:22):
So, by the way, by the opposite crack. Yeah, these
people that whine if they're on the over and their
guy gets hurt right away, have some self respect and
don't whine. This is part of football. Sometimes your guy
gets banged up, they want the money back. Just deal
with its baby about it. My gosh, there's so much whiny.

(01:32:42):
You get my money back. My guy got hurt right away.
It's like what happens in football. That's the danger of
taking it over.

Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
Sorry more Gordon, more Gordon, Gordon another Gordon carry yeah it. Uh, look,
you're gonna have some good ones some bad ones. It
is what it is. Like, what's this Dolphins formation? Like
one of the I just I just I just can't.
Oh and there we go, big big carry twelve thirteen,
fourteen yards.

Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
How much do you need?

Speaker 3 (01:33:11):
I have different things in the in the in the works.

Speaker 4 (01:33:14):
Got a lot, there's a lot of moving parts in
the fort I have.

Speaker 3 (01:33:18):
I have a little a little dabble spinkle.

Speaker 4 (01:33:21):
Uh. I got a lot of different things.

Speaker 3 (01:33:24):
On a parlay for I need. I needed that. So
I'm over now for him. I'm over on an alt
for Art's receiving. I need two more carries for Mariota,
and I hit this one.

Speaker 4 (01:33:36):
So hold, you're not over on Earth receiving, all right?

Speaker 3 (01:33:39):
No, no, I took him an alt twenty five plus.
I'm under under the game, but over the on the
parlay my alt number four.

Speaker 4 (01:33:45):
My god, Hi, my name is Jeff. Yes, Simon, wait
you want to under and you went over on the alt.

Speaker 3 (01:33:55):
Is that what you said? Yeah? So I went under.
His took for the day and forty seven whatever, it's
twenty and a half and I have over twenty five
for the parlay. I just hit in the middle a
Chan again, Chan again. So yeah, we're we're we're rolling
along here. The thing is like now getting to clock match.
The commandoers don't have enough timeouts. I think in a

(01:34:15):
first time here, Miami can can vote this one away.

Speaker 1 (01:34:17):
Yeah, they'll do exactly And I'm not going to.

Speaker 3 (01:34:19):
Get my Mariota, but that such such as life.

Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
I'll tell you what you got. Yeah, you're okay.

Speaker 1 (01:34:24):
I'll tell you what. Teams are getting way way better
at this, which is milking the clock, not giving the
other team an opportunity. Where it happened at the end
of the half. We were talking about, Hey, maybe the
Dolphins get the ball back two minute offense, Washington first
play out of the two minute warning, running play, let
the clock run, run, run, run, run, and you keep
the ball away from the Dolphins. These teams are getting

(01:34:46):
a lot lot better at playing keep away, right. You'll
see it at the end of the game. Instead of
scoring a touchdown, they'll go down. You know, we'll take
a chip shot field goal and win this thing. You're
not going to touch the ball. They're getting a lot
better at that. It's kind of like the uh you
know we talk about basketball, like the two for one
you get two possessions for the one possession. The NFL
is starting to do that where it's like a one

(01:35:07):
to nothing touchdown.

Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
Oh, he should go out of bounds. Smart, you should
go on a bound. You should have gone h had
like a twenty five yard carry, he should go he
should have gone down like and not no, he went
out of bounce. Okay, he should have gone like if
you're gonna score a score, if not, stay in bounce.

Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
Oh I see yeah, right right now a dolphin have
to do a.

Speaker 3 (01:35:27):
Thing where like what do you do? Actually his momentum
actually stop, but they're gonna call it about and have
to call it that bound. So now what do you
do your first and goal? So I'm in the opinion
you have a two minute time out, two minute warning.
It's a two minute warning in college? Is two minute
time out? So silly? And then like so dumb? And
then you have a time out here for commanders. I

(01:35:47):
don't like doing the thing where like you waste plays
like Rabel did last with you, right, you just got to.

Speaker 4 (01:35:52):
Look to score.

Speaker 1 (01:35:54):
You just look to score, and Ebo has one time out.
If you're going to score it touch down this play
you do. You've had struggles close to the goal line the.

Speaker 3 (01:36:02):
Way this game is gone, you've had you've had those issues.
I would try to score. It's a call time out here,
I'd score, man, I would not waste time.

Speaker 4 (01:36:09):
Yeah, he's so much far ahead of me and Brian.
It's more than fifth, it's fifteen seconds.

Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
Crazy, man, he really is plus.

Speaker 3 (01:36:19):
I plus I need Washington have the ball back so
Mario can scramble a few times. That's like I said,
I'm ruder for it was little, this little parlay I
got going crack. I don't have anything else. I have
no more parlays the rest of the day.

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
It's just like more days early, very early.

Speaker 3 (01:36:31):
I just like, no, no, I won't. I won't do
anything else. Okay. I thought about doing a touchdown one.
I actually sort of made one, and I was like,
this is dumb. I'm not doing this. I'm never gonna hit.
You know, you see on social media someone hits like
I saw someone last couple weeks ago. I had like
a forty thousand plus forty thousand, like four person touchdown parlay.
It's just the same odds its hitting the latto.

Speaker 4 (01:36:52):
They're very popular on Twitter on social media. You're right,
you always see that four guys to get a time.

Speaker 3 (01:36:58):
I mean, and I saw one like a guy that
like three hundred dollars on him, Like, jeez, what is
Jesus three hundred dollars on that. What are you betting
on a side or like, like I.

Speaker 4 (01:37:06):
Say, if you want to bet five bucks, have some
fun compared to dropped?

Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
Oh what a play by he's so good man?

Speaker 4 (01:37:13):
What happened to us?

Speaker 3 (01:37:14):
She could tell Tua almost dropped a shotgun snap and
then he pitched it to Hn who got down to
the one somehow. Wow, now it's first. Now it's third
of goal to one with the two minute timeouts.

Speaker 1 (01:37:26):
Like, it's just a couple of inches away from a
touchdown right there. That was a great run.

Speaker 4 (01:37:30):
You gotta then then you have to go for the
You you're going for a touchdown obviously.

Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
Yeah, but the problem is you can you can they
sneak with Tua? Do they ever do that?

Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:37:39):
No, he's just anything athletic. You just it's not gonna
happen with Tua.

Speaker 3 (01:37:44):
So what do you do here? Third of one? Watching
those youre gonna run the football at the middle. You
have to boot him out, but he can't run. I
mean that's a problem. Like this is a tough spot
for them to be in.

Speaker 4 (01:37:52):
You have to call I'd ever to see him get
stopped in fourth and goal? What do you do here?

Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
Of course, well I think four to the field goal,
but yeah, yeah, yeah, or or you just say, look,
we're at the minus one. Can we get a sack
of safety? Like can we?

Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
No, you can't mess with it. You'd have to kick it. Yeah,
they'd have a minute twenty to work with the problemly
have to like it. You can't do you no points.

Speaker 3 (01:38:14):
I think you have to call a plau pass here
and let or spread them out and like try to
do something crazy. I don't think you can run the
ball in the middle. I would I would hate for
that to.

Speaker 1 (01:38:22):
Be the Look at you, look at you, look at
the football nerd, and you just can't help it. You
know it's it's Dolphins commanders, and you're fully invested.

Speaker 3 (01:38:30):
I love this.

Speaker 4 (01:38:31):
I just shouldn't know there was that much for you
guys in this game.

Speaker 3 (01:38:35):
No, I'm talking about football now. Now, I'm not talking
about any gamble, just football. Like, what do you do
here on third and one? Immobile quarterback who can't see
over the middle of the field very well.

Speaker 1 (01:38:44):
And you know, either a wham right now run up
the middle right hopefully you know you're not.

Speaker 3 (01:38:49):
Gonna sneak out. They did score last drive on that concept.
Where they just were like, we're going right in the
A gap and we're going to score.

Speaker 1 (01:38:56):
They do what you do, They do a little you know,
play action out.

Speaker 3 (01:39:00):
Yeah, this is the time though that if you if
that little you know, they do it every now and
the once a year with an immobile quarterback just keeps
on a keeper without anyone paying attention.

Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
This is the seek up the middle type thing. Yeah,
let's quarterback draw.

Speaker 4 (01:39:13):
Bet MGM live line Dolphins minus three and a half
minus eighteen ten to one money line. I cannot lay
ten to one on a Dolphins line man.

Speaker 1 (01:39:26):
And that's the thing, dude, there are a couple of
inches away. I don't trust them to score a touchdown
third down.

Speaker 3 (01:39:32):
Really, guys, my wife is having a Christmas tree delivered
right this moment.

Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
Wow, all right, well we'll maybe we'll get the celebrat's
do a live interview with this guy.

Speaker 4 (01:39:44):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
Let's all right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran and getting a Christmas
tree delivered as we speak. All season long, bet MGM
is offering you a second chance on your first touchdown
bet when a customer places a wager on a first
touchdown score bet and he doesn't score first, but score

(01:40:06):
second bet MGM. Where we turn one hundred percent of
their stakeback in cash. Get your money back. It's beautiful thing,
all right? Coming up next, what does the futures market
say about this matchup? Today? It is Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. Man, I

(01:40:30):
need some cocaine right now. Basically, what's going on here?
These dolphins? My gosh, they're taking years off my life.

get off the air. So the Dolphins got oft on
third down, they went for it on fourth down.

Speaker 4 (01:41:03):
Can't go for it there, You're we cannot go for it.

Speaker 1 (01:41:06):
They've been getting stuffed at the goal line all game long.
They go for it, and what do you know, they
get stuffed again and now the commanders are on the
move trying to get into field goal range.

Speaker 3 (01:41:19):
March. It's almost through an interception. No one needs to
win this game up, no timeouts. I'm ahead of you, guys.
Guess third and eight to thirty nine. I mean they
got to this is the game right here.

Speaker 1 (01:41:30):
This is the play. You know, they're still in field
goal ranging. Not a catch good good, still have a pulse.

Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
When I'm thinking about what to do, I want to
throw it as far as if possible to more who
got hurt?

Speaker 1 (01:41:45):
That's what you need. That was the play.

Speaker 3 (01:41:48):
That was the play. I mean they threw the ball
as far as they can just more.

Speaker 4 (01:41:51):
How long is this field goal? Like sixty yards.

Speaker 1 (01:41:55):
Thirty nine fifty six.

Speaker 3 (01:41:59):
Which now was like automatic? Did you see that? Nate
Silver put out a tweet saying that they have to
basically reevaluate the way you think about scoring the NFL
because of field kicking. Now that the percent of fifty
five yard kicks made now is more than ever before,
and it's really messing with NFL scores and.

Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
That is no good.

Speaker 3 (01:42:19):
Why to the right, Wow, Dolphins still alive.

Speaker 1 (01:42:22):
This is like, uh, this is like when the MAVs
traded away Luca and then somehow got the first overall
pick with which they had no business getting. That's what
just happened for the Dolphins. They had no business going
forward on fourth down and they were erroneously awarded.

Speaker 3 (01:42:38):
Team wants to win, right, neither team wants to win.

Speaker 4 (01:42:41):
It's hurt us for the prop still the two that
we have.

Speaker 3 (01:42:44):
Yeah's ERT's got a pass for three or four yards? Wow,
so we'll see. I mean, look, Dolphins, I guess everyone
has to have the ball, right, So never mind there.

Speaker 1 (01:42:54):
But there's a chance to like you get give it, yeah,
throw it down.

Speaker 3 (01:42:58):
Yeah, but you have to there's no way to there's
no way to to stop the clock though, unless you
get out of bounds, Like you can't throw inbounds. You
can't get up with clock it fast enough.

Speaker 1 (01:43:09):
Get to the sideline or a penalty. That's what we're
down to see.

Speaker 3 (01:43:13):
Let's see what they do here.

Speaker 1 (01:43:14):
Let's screen it. Let's go conservative screen it. Hopefully we
break one get out of bounds.

Speaker 3 (01:43:18):
Oh oh he dropped dropped it. He would have been
out of bounds for.

Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
What you won't get there for me either, what is
what is it with these teams?

Speaker 4 (01:43:27):
Man?

Speaker 3 (01:43:27):
That would have been, that would have been, That would
have been, That would have been enough to try to
that was perfect. It was a bad pass though it
was behind him the way behind him. You can't, just
if you're a professional quarterback, you can't throw the ball
that far behind a wide receiver who's that fast. Like
you argue you should catch the ball, absolutely, but that
ball was behind his back shoulders.

Speaker 1 (01:43:49):
It was a bad throw. He's got to catch that's
I think both are true.

Speaker 3 (01:43:53):
But that is a bad pass, Like he's wide open,
thrown in front of him.

Speaker 4 (01:43:56):
I thought he should have caught that, but he was
wide open.

Speaker 1 (01:43:58):
You're right, You're right right, all right, we gotta we
gotta get our focus on here and preview some of
the biggest games of the year. We'll do that right
around the corner. First though, Dan Byer with a nice
treat Dan Byer in here. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
Dan?

Speaker 5 (01:44:11):
Hey, guys, we are headed to overtime, Dolphins unable to
do anything with it in those final seconds. We're gonna
run a please, no, gonna run a lateral play and
it ended up being stopped. Yeah, Matt Gay's fifty six
yard field goal off the mark he missed a fifty
one yard or earlier in the contest. You talked about
the Dolphins bypassing the points and going for the touchdown.

(01:44:33):
That's how we are at thirteen all between the Dolphins
and Commanders as they play in Spain.

Speaker 1 (01:44:38):
Hey, by the way, Dan, not to put you on
the awkward spot right here, but I got some pushback
years ago. Well, it's just a play on words. I
just I think it was with I don't know the
Colts are Tampa, but Matt Gay missed a kick and
I just tweeted Gay didn't kick it straight, and someone
got very upset with it. Just to play on words, right,
It's only okay, is it not a I.

Speaker 3 (01:45:01):
Don't know who came up with it first. Maybe it
was you.

Speaker 5 (01:45:03):
My teammate Jason Stewart on the Doug Gottlieb Show loves
to say when he makes it, Gay is straight.

Speaker 3 (01:45:10):
Okay, Gay was not straight on that time.

Speaker 5 (01:45:13):
Twice this game, he's missed it thirteen all between the
Commanders and Dolphins. Kean Coleman is inactive for the Bills today.
One of the stories that we're following after he missed
the meeting of Friday morning with the team. They've got
the Buccaneers coming up at the top of the hour.
Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Junior inactive against the Chargers.

(01:45:34):
Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden is active against the Giants,
and the New York Post is reporting Jets corner Chris
Boyd is in critical but stable condition after he was
wounded in a shooting earlier this morning in Manhattan. Boyd
is uninjured reserve Jets played this past Thursday against the Patriots.
The suspect, according to the Post, remains at large. Guys,

(01:45:55):
the coin toss is going on and this is something
that we still can't figure out who wants to do what,
But they're playing overtime in Madrid.

Speaker 1 (01:46:01):
Back to you, good stuff, Thank you Dan. It is
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM.
BETMGM has a Pro Football boost pack giving you three
ways to boost your payout on a winning bet. Just
log into your betmgm account to receive your boost pack.
Then plays any pro football bet and apply one of
the tokens. Make sure to bet up to the minimum
stake odds and legs specified on the token. If your

(01:46:24):
boosted bet hits, you'll score a bigger payout. Check it
out in the BETMGM app Wow, that's random. Two Laramy
Tunzel former Dolphin out for the coin toss with Tua
those a former left ackle. Kind of crazy how that works,
But we had to overtime. How about this Chiefs at
the Broncos, Chiefs favored by four and a half on
the road. How about these odds? So look at the

(01:46:46):
odds to win the AFC West. You look at the Broncos.
They're essentially ahead by what two and a half games
on the Chiefs right, two and a half game lead.
The Broncos are plus one thirty five to win the division.
The Chiefs are plus one forty. Like the books, Vegas
could not be saying any louder. We are not buying

(01:47:09):
the Broncos. Yeah, that's all that you can take from
a line.

Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
I would agree, Yeah, I would agree, we're not buying
the Broncos. And the Chiefs are off the by like
what is this what is this number? Neutral field?

Speaker 1 (01:47:22):
Oh Man, neutral field? Right now? I think the spot
matters too, Like the Broncos have been as lucky as
lucky can be to win some of these games. As
of late, a neutral field, it'd probably be Chiefs what
minus seven and a half something.

Speaker 3 (01:47:36):
Like that, right, and then Roma eight nine nine fields like,
oh well that's a big number. So the Broncos have
no Sootan, no Harvey. Right, they can run the ball,
but don't really do it well. They start game slow
because bow Nicks is just a wreck man. I mean,
he's just he just is not very consistent. And the

(01:48:00):
Chiefs just need they need this game. They need this game.
Krack has this dog with them, is your dog taking
the Chiefs hopefully in this game? I think this number
is high though for a division game like this, I
still wouldn't I still wouldn't bet the Chiefs though, But
Vey has to showing you how they feel about these
two teams. I think about it. I mean, they're one
team is Oh, there's Oreo.

Speaker 1 (01:48:22):
Right over there, got the killer.

Speaker 3 (01:48:25):
My dog's downstairs. My uh yeah, he is a very
large dog. I just uh, I think to Bryan's point,
like it's hard to beat the Chiefs laying four and
a half on the road, it's it just is right
because that's the NFL. But they're telling you very clear
that one eight and two team is not very good.

(01:48:47):
Look there, you know we use all sorts of numbers
when we talk about about teams the NFL, and you
E p A, you know, d v O A, Like,
there's a lot of things that you know that we
look at. And the thing is is Denver just is
not a highly ranked as you would expect for an
eight and two team, right, I mean they're DVOA is
ninth overall, which is it's good, right, it's fine. Offense

(01:49:08):
is eighteen though, especially since it's twenty four, so like
they're not They're they're good on defense, we get that,
but the other things are a legit concern. They're not
as good as they should be on offense essentially and
special teams. But they're eight and two, so we don't
what the chiefs are. They're fifth and DVA. They're getting
better on offense, they're healthy off Josh Shimman is back,
they're gonna be they're gonna feel good off of Buye.

(01:49:29):
So I would lean, I mean chiefs like, yeah, I
don't feel great about laying four and half of the
road here. Crack.

Speaker 4 (01:49:36):
Yeah. First, I'll just say that they just showed the attendance.
There's seventy nine thousand people. Oh yeah, game Miami, Washington
and over there in Spain. Wow. So that that shows
me that this is gonna be. This is I know it. Anyway,
this is a big thing for for the NFL and
international fans. All right, let's go to this Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (01:49:57):
By the way, interception interception, No.

Speaker 1 (01:50:01):
Let's go. You know what I was just gonna say.
What would be funny is uh, if the Commanders had
to punt or they turn it over and the Dolphins
can kick a field goal, they still go for it
on fourth and one. You know, let's try to go
for it, you.

Speaker 4 (01:50:13):
Know, just.

Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
Dream interception Mariota. So we should go, we should we
should go bing bab boom, all the all the all
the he's going to to he's going to our guy. Yeah,
interception by Jones. So the ball, right, they I mean,
they're gonna they're probably gonna run the ball, run the
ball once wide, receiver, screen, run the ball again, kick
a field goal. As my guess, what I would do

(01:50:38):
is I would run a chen until he could no
longer run anymore, and the kick a field goal. I
would not put the ball in the air. I would not.
I would just run the ball. I would try to score.
The thing that I think teams get wrong in the
situation is they don't try to score a touchdown like
you have to in my book, you have to to
run plays right now, and you might be conservative, but

(01:50:58):
the idea is we to score a touchdown to end
the game. I think I think far too often. And
there's aitch and gets another when he gets that's eleven yards.
Now to me, you don't slow down here, you run
the football, You pretend like you pretend you try to
score touchdown. You want to end the game thinking that way, right,
we're gonna end the game scoring a touchdown because that

(01:51:20):
guarantees us is obviously a win. No no kicking issues,
no bad snaps, right yeah. And it just to me,
it puts the mindset in your team of we're gonna
go down and score to win the game.

Speaker 1 (01:51:31):
And well, when they took over, Jeff, like you know,
take over at the plus thirty three, that's a fifty
one yard kick and we know that that's a more
regular routine kick. Now in the NFL, No, that's to
win the game. Little sweaty palm situation.

Speaker 3 (01:51:45):
They're doing that so like they're they're giving the ball,
They're giving the ball to eight Chan he gets another
five yards, Like, just keep keep turning them out, keep
turning them out, keep saying, I mean I'm gonna lose
that parlay, so what it is? What it is?

Speaker 4 (01:51:57):
A miss?

Speaker 3 (01:51:57):
Then and then to Mariota runs and then another no,
no no.

Speaker 4 (01:52:00):
But it's still a potable game though, right.

Speaker 3 (01:52:03):
Yeah, I took any chant over rushing as well, so
I'll be fine. But I like what they're doing here.
This is what you have to do. I think in
these games you have to stay aggressive. You keep staying aggressive.

Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
By the way, I want to throw just a couple
of stats at you with the Chiefs that I've found
pretty interesting. You ever see, you know, like your side
mirror where it used to say objects and mirror are
closer than they are here. That's really the Chiefs defense
in a couple of categories with the Broncos. Right, we
know the Broncos defense is fantastic, but check this out.
So the Chiefs defense not that far behind in terms

(01:52:34):
of past defense. So the Broncos are number six, Chiefs
are number seven. On average, the Chiefs pass defense only
gives up eight more yards per game than the Broncos
pass defense, like eight yards we're talking here, we think
about the Broncos, Pats are tan bronc no fly zone,
that type of thing. The Chiefs are right there. And
also this scoring defense, Denver is third in the league,

(01:52:57):
the Chiefs are fourth. The Chiefs only give up point
four points per game more than the Broncos. They are
right there defensively in a couple of categories, not all
across the board, but a couple of key categories. Offensively,
there's nothing that the Broncos are close to, you know,
like running the ball fine, but overall offense to offense,

(01:53:19):
it's not even close. But defense to defense comparatively, the
Chiefs are a lot closer than their reputation would lead
you to believe to the Bronco.

Speaker 4 (01:53:27):
You're right, this is a very exciting day of football
that I probably didn't realize how exciting this day of
football is. Probably looking the matchups, probably the best week
of football we've had this year.

Speaker 1 (01:53:39):
It's absolutely right.

Speaker 4 (01:53:40):
Yeah, yeah, this is to look at the Chiefs being
five and four and then the Broncos eating two, and
then the Chiefs are that big of a favorite in
in Denver, that has to show you that the odds makers, no,
the book makers. No, I'm not even saying that they're
gonna win today. But it just how a five and

(01:54:00):
four team be going against the best record in football.
That's what I've been here on all week. By the way, gee,
the Broncos are the best record in football. Uh you
know everyone, you're.

Speaker 3 (01:54:09):
Gonna force me to bet the Chiefs and the Crack Challenge,
aren't you?

Speaker 4 (01:54:11):
Crab? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:54:12):
And make me.

Speaker 4 (01:54:12):
I mean, are you are we allowed to put money
lines and the Crack Challenge?

Speaker 3 (01:54:16):
I don't know it's your challenge?

Speaker 4 (01:54:19):
Yeah, I mean yeah, Okay, I have the game over here.
By by the way, Yeah, they're kicking screen.

Speaker 3 (01:54:26):
Yeah, they're kicking a field go from the ten, so
I haven't eversh bing bang boom touchdown, Dolphins win. I
bet the Dolphins under four and a half wins, Brian
when they started one and seven. Yeah, and I'm gonna
I'm gonna lose that bet of a champion, right are they? Are?
They a playoff team?

Speaker 4 (01:54:42):
We had under under wins at the beginning of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
But yeah, we should be fine. I think we'll be
fine for under seven and a half. But are they
are they a playoff that three straight wins?

Speaker 1 (01:54:51):
No, no chance, man. This is like remember the Brian
Frez Dolphins. Weren't they like one and seven? Next thing
you knew they were five hundred And you're like, what
happened with? Maybe that's what's going on? Uh, super fast?
Only thirty seconds collectively? Lions Eagles. You know the football
geek and us took over when we're watching this game

(01:55:11):
and shred. But Lions Eagles just ten seconds game, phill
So I go Eagles, You go Eagles. What do you think,
Crack think this game?

Speaker 4 (01:55:23):
Eagles home home crowd there in the link Eagles.

Speaker 1 (01:55:25):
You like the Eagles too. I think it comes down
to can you put pressure on golf? Because if you can,
he's a deer in headlights. Man, his numbers are completely different,
pressured versus unpressured. Phillips over there, you get some you know,
Nolan Smith, you got some guys getting healthier. You got
the trade. I like the Eagles putting pressure on golf.
And if they do that, I don't like the all

(01:55:47):
three of us just killed them.

Speaker 4 (01:55:48):
That's over.

Speaker 1 (01:55:49):
Yeah, Lion's big tonight, Lions for all the money found out?

Speaker 2 (01:57:17):
We call it all it the crack Challenge.

Speaker 1 (01:57:20):
Okay, the Schwartz Syndicate off a four and one week
let's go.

Speaker 4 (01:57:24):
What do you have for us?

Speaker 3 (01:57:26):
All right, let's do this. Vikis minus two and a
half hosting the Bears. Tampa Bay's out to six and
a half. Now, I'm either gonna be really wrong about
this game or right, give me Tampa Bay plus six
and a half. Day, I got good numbers today, Giants
plus seven and a half. O love it. Get good
numbers here, yeah, give me the Rams minus three. Okay,

(01:57:46):
that's four right, yep? And then uh, I'm missing a
game here. I won't take.

Speaker 4 (01:57:55):
Oh, I do not like this one.

Speaker 3 (01:57:56):
I'm gonna do it anyways. Give me the Jaguars plus
the three points.

Speaker 4 (01:58:01):
Yeah, yeah, all right, a lot of these, a lot
of line moves here that were against him. Yeah, that
actually got better lines. All right, good job, great, Brian, mean.

Speaker 1 (01:58:11):
All right, yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna agree with you
on Tampa. It's just that's a lot of points, man,
a lot of weird line movement right there. I'm gonna
take Case. I don't love laying those points on the road,
but I'll do it in this spot. Denver is a
total fraud. Casey has to have it off of by
no certaan. I mean, it's the reasons after reasons to
like Case today. Let's see, give me Houston, I'll lay

(01:58:36):
the five and a half. Tennessee is just that bad
and a couple of I'm just taking. I'm taking points
over here. Give me Arizona plus the three and a half.
I don't know how they they cover. Trey McBride goes crazy.
Now it's a big Trey McBride day. So I'll take
the points there and I'll ride with the Swart syndicate.
It's a gross line. It's even a gross spot. Everything

(01:58:57):
about it is gross. But somehow, some way, Jack plus
three seems like the right side to me, So I'll
roll with that as well. All right, let's get to
rapid fire.

Speaker 3 (01:59:05):
Let's rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:59:10):
All right, Crack, what's something you like?

Speaker 4 (01:59:12):
Okay, guys, you got seven seven minutes to get the
same receiving yards Chicago bears Loveland under twenty seven and
a half receiving yards.

Speaker 1 (01:59:21):
Okay, like it, Jeff? Anything else you want to mention?

Speaker 4 (01:59:24):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:59:25):
Gagwell, over, I'm looking at Tucker two for the Bucks. Over,
I think thirty nine and a half as the backup
running back gets a ton of carries. Last couple of
weeks is to try to spell White and they're gonna
run the ball a lot to against Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (01:59:40):
I'm gonna take Jalen Hurts if you can believe this,
give me over eighteen and a half completions. I think
they're throwing it against the Lions, you know, not a
ton of rushing success. Short quick passes get AJ Brown
in the mix, the complaining, whining AJ Brown. I think
Hurtz gets to nineteen completions. I'll go with that, all right, Cracks,
play the day, do it.

Speaker 2 (02:00:01):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:00:04):
A touchdowns, all right.

Speaker 4 (02:00:07):
The same game, same game. I'm gonna go Minnesota minus
the two and a half over on MGM great line.

Speaker 1 (02:00:13):
Okay, fly Eagles, fly, good stuff, although our guy Chris
Purfett would say Gollin's right. Enjoy Win eleven

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
