Speaker 1 (00:00):
Door listening, no Fox Sports, where you go?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
What's up? Everybody? Happy Sunday. Happy Father's Day to all
of you out there, anybody who is a father in
any way, shape or form. Carrie and I wish you
a wonderful day, maybe a Nick Castaiano's type of day.
You know, he delivers when things are happening around the world.
So things are happening around the world, and Nicosa Yanel's
decides data Grand Slam exactly what we expect. Carrie here

(00:28):
watching his Louisville in the Men's College World Series double elimination.
They're up right now against Arizona. So he's in a
good mood. Five to three, bottom of the A innings,
make six by docs, so he's excited.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
We know what he's gonna be keeping an eye on.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
We'll be keeping an eye on.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Everything going on.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
The US Open final round play has been suspended because
of weather. It was pouring down there. The weather has
been such a factor. I would hate everybody, Like if
I was a golfer right now, oh yeah, in the
final round of the US Open, in the top ten,
because it's really close, like on a there's nobody has
a far lead. I would be so annoyed with this

(01:04):
weather because you can't control it. Like, yeah, you could
only do so much, you know what I'm saying. So
we'll see how that one ends. We've also got a
lot of soccer today. Care Are you a soccer guy?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:14):
No, no, no, no, not a soccer guy.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Let me tell you.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Me and my family big soccer people. Uh you know
that's probably because we're Latinos and we love soccer like that.
But my brother was a great, great soccer player in college,
won a couple of championships, was like MVP of the nation,
like the whole thing in soccer. But there's a lot
of games going on in soccer. So Happy Father's Day
to my dad, who I was like, I took him out.
We took him out on Friday night and we hung

(01:38):
out with him, and we hung out with him a
little bit yesterday. And also Happy Father's Day to my brother.
But I said to my dad, I was like, but
no one's gonna visit you tomorrow. I'm sorry because we
all came already, And he was like, sorry, I get
to watch soccer all day without anyone interrupting.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Listen, don't think too hard about it when it comes
to you guys. You know, yeah, we want they want
a lot of acknowledgement. See just like the mothers. They
deserve absolutely, but yeah, they want their peace.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
They do a little simpler, right.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
I was Happy father Day. Happy Father's Day to my
father as well, who's at home and actually he's working today,
which is dad part of part of who he is.
And so yeah, just happy fathers.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
What do you call your dad? Like if you say
dadda dad? Yeah, because we call we say ba ba
ba hey bye am. That's how we say. We don't
say like sometimes I may say dad, but it's always
been ba ay ba come here ay ba.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
If I said hey pop, my dad might fight me.
So I don't know he made things aggressive? Oh got you?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
No, No, it's not aggressive, Tomas. It's just that that's how.
That's how we call my my dad and my daddy.
O h ba is how we refer to him. So again,
Happy Ba's Day to all the dads out there. We
love and appreciate you. But let's get into it, Carrie,
Like always too many things to talk about and not
enough time. But we're gonna start with a guy that

(02:57):
I carry. I'm having such a hard time with.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
This story because Okay, I've said this to you before.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
What have you done for me lately? Is a big
part of with anything, right, What have you done for
me lately? Kevin Durant, what has he done for anyone lately?
Anyone score a lot of points, score and then what
and then not play in playoffs?

Speaker 5 (03:19):
That's right?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Okay, so very little when he has done you got
to go really back to Warriors because what did he
do in Brooklyn? Get Steve Nash fired?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I like, honestly, what has he done lately?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
So what I'm wondering here is how the Phoenix Suns
are trying to accommodate where he wants to go. Yeah,
why please explain this to me.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Well, I'll tell you. It's it's just cashe and you said, well,
what have you done for me lately? That's true. That's
especially in sports. It really is that right, And so
I can see why you have that take. But he
has Casha. He's a championship winner, he's done that, he's
been the MVP, he's done that, one of the best
players the NBA seeing one of the best scores the
NBAF scene. So gonna have a little cachet and if

(04:05):
you if you no longer can use his services to
when because the Sons are in the dumpster? No, they are,
and so why not give him a destination that he
wants to go to Because he was, I want to say,
gracious and wanting to go to the Phoenix Suns in
the first place, right, So bringing him in was a
choice from both sides, and he had to agree to it, right,

(04:28):
So there were conversations behind the scenes that we don't
know that obviously, if it came to this point, this
probably was already predetermined. So you're you're saying it from
like on the spot, like why does he have that
type of cachet?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
That's probably why if this was predetermined, your idiots, Phoenix Sons,
if this was already predetermined, like, hey, hypothetically, if we suck.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
With you, we're gonna give you what you want.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
That's stupid, that's stupid, because the Phoenix Sons are they
have they haven't. They're stuck. Bradley Beal's contract stuck.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
Right.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
But because of that, it's like.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Why are you accommodating where he wants to go when
you need a lot of things to help you the
way just it is right now for the Suns. There
are three teams that apparently Kevin Durant's preferred destinations, the
Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Rockets.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Well, if those are the three teams.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Those are the most recent, right.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
They're gonna they're gonna get a nice haul back from
all three of those teams you just you just said,
and I guess the least would be Miami.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Miami, he would be the least.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
But Houston and the Spurs, you can get some really
good players.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Back, you can get the number two pick or what like.
I that to me, the Spurs seems like, really you do.
I don't believe you want to go to the Spurs.
You want to go play with Victor win Bayama and
in San Antoni. I don't believe it. I don't believe that.
I think the Houston Rockets are exactly what they need
they need. Kevin Durant, We've talked about the Houston Rockets

(05:59):
going to get to seven games with the Warriors, when
a lot of people didn't think that was going to
happen because the Warriors are quote unquote old and then
Houston fast paced a lot of defense. But in reality,
they don't have somebody who is a consistent scorer. And
I was about to say a bad word, I held it.
I held it. I have negatively talked about scoring by
committee when it comes to teams like the Rockets and

(06:22):
like the Pacers. But the Pacers do have a star.
You could say he's not a superstar, however you want
to argue it. But I think he is definitely proving
a point that he is.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
He's a superstar.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I just you know, if you want to say.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
It's not yet.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
But if you think of Houston Rockets, they really don't
have a start. Jalen Green has not developed the way
maybe they thought Fred van Vliet is there to I
think be a veteran presence. I don't think he was
there to be a number one score, even though he
can maybe drop thirty for you, you know, every now
and then. But they don't have a superstar or even
a star. They have a good team, they have a

(06:55):
great coach, They have great fundamentals and principles because they
do the basic things, which is what you need to
do to win. I think he would fit in really
well hall oh yeah, with the Rockets where they there's
very few teams where I think you can put Kevin
Durant in and it gives you a big jump. Not
that all of a sudden you're gonna win, no, But
with the Rockets, I do think that gives them a

(07:17):
legit um.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
But it depends on who they lose in the trade. Sure,
And so obviously, yes, I mean you get a you
trade him. You know Dalen Green is going to be
involved in that in.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
That package, they're not. They're not.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
And you also with the Phoenix Slenge, you get somebody
that's exciting that comes in that can score just not
as good as Kevin Durant, but he's gonna have you
twenty points and he's going to be a high flyer.
He's going to make some highlight plays. So you'll still
have butts in the seats to come see that. Sure,
and also whatever whatever else you bring in that Hall
can definitely help that team. And so I could see
that working Houston would be ideal. Houston deftensively, they're all

(07:55):
set up around them.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
It's yes, So another team that I thought was ideal,
and we're gonna talk about this team later because of
the trade today, I actually thought the Magic would be
a great place for Kevin Durant to go to It
was never on his list of teams, but they're a
similar team and also like they have a superstar already
in Paolo Bancaro, Friends Wagner, you know, Jalen sugs like

(08:17):
they have a team obviously he probably that's probably why,
but they needed just like one more right like that
would that would really put them up there. And we're
gonna talk about more about the Orlando Magic later on,
because yes they did make a trade today. We're gonna
see what does that mean for Orlando. But with Kevin Durant,
like Miami Heat, Yeah, who are you gonna get rid of?
Like if you keep your core right now? Miami Heat

(08:39):
in Vam Tyler hero and then you add him. Yeah
that sounds in theory.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
No, like stop Mazi s stocked Miami. No, because number one,
none of those guys are I mean, Bam and Tyler
are good pros.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Yeah, no, Tyler, Tyler's a nice little star, rising start.
Can we say that rising star because once Jimmy, once
Jimmy Butler left Jimmy bucket his numbers one up is
not he he kind of accepted.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
But that but that doesn't mean you're a star player.
Just because your numbers increase doesn't matter. It just means
it getting more frequency. Right, So I don't see him
that way. I'm not saying he's not a good player here, right,
No he is. But you bring in Kevin Durant to
that team, there's still there'll be a playoff team. They're
not beating a healthy magic team. They're not beating these pacers,
they're not beating the Knicks, They're not being anybody in

(09:31):
that top in the top.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
The Knicks are well later.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
But I'm just I'm just saying in the pantheona where
they will laying it's.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Funny because I if I look at the Eastern Conference,
I actually I think it's it's pretty open for next year,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (09:44):
And so I I.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
The Heat are a good team that I just think
whatever they would lose to get Durant would not make
them better.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
And I was just about to say that's the other thing.
The people they're losing, Yes, nobody's gonna want no, and they.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Would they also need him, like the reason they're successful
because of the team that they have. Yeah, So as
much as like I rate in theory because it's like, yeah,
oh Miami. He of course Lex Spolstra and Kevin Durant.
That would also drive ticket sales that would make people
want to go.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Watch It's Miami. They're not coming anyway, They're they're gonna come.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
They're just gonna be laying there. Really, they're gonna show up.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
They're gonna be able to say I saw Kevin Durant
play for seventeen minutes, okay, and he was great in
that pink uniform, and now.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Yeah, exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
But I yeah, I still despite all this carry I'm
just having a hard time with like, why are we
accommodating him? Anybody who signs him, he was he would
be up for a two year extension that could be
worth one hundred and twenty two millions, So anyone taking
him on, it's like you are willing to do that, right,
because I doubt he goes to Houston and then doesn't

(10:55):
get an extension. That's probably not what he would want
to do.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
It's going to get an extend.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
He wants the extension, So that's Houston does make the
most sense. But on the Sun side, it's like, you
guys are so messed up in your situation that I
even doing this. It's like, I know you're thinking long
term future because of the contract that you have with
Bradley Beal, no trade clause. Why why did they do that?
I don't understand Devin Booker, but it's like this, why

(11:22):
why do this for him? I would send him where
he doesn't want to go. I'd be like, what are
the lists of teams you really don't want? But why
you're going?

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Why?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Why?

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Because we're screwed. We're screwed, So why are we helping
you or any other team?

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Because he did the best.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
He could, did he?

Speaker 5 (11:39):
I think everybody in their mind, Hey, take that out
of it. We're talking about we're talking about the play.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
We're okay, he did not make the playoffs, right, but
what did he do?

Speaker 5 (11:49):
He scored and I'm sure and who knows, he probably
was a model citizen there and he probably did all
the things right. So I'm just saying, like, pull the
curtain back for a minute.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Please, let's pull the curtains.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
I'm saying, so right on the outside, you're a hundred
percent right, he's done nothing recently.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, And to say that the outside world does not
influence the inside world inside the gym, it does influence.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
It does so all of the I'm just like, really,
what what have you done?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
What have you done? And why are we accommodating this man?
How old is he? Thirty five, thirty four, thirty three?

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Yeah, he's one of them numbers I because that's.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Also added he is thirty six. Oh wow, he is
a thirty six.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
You were wrong about all thy thirty four, thirty six?
What's thirty six?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Thirty thirty seven? And he will be thirty seven.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
When in September he's got one more year left. See
what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
See what I'm saying. All of this adds to the
story of like, why why accommodate him like this with
any team?

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Yeah? No, I hear I hear you.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
I think I'm changing your mind.

Speaker 8 (12:47):
No, no, no, you're not.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
You're not. But I agree with you. No, I agree
with you. From a business standpoint, I understand that. But again,
they want to show some loyalty, right because number one,
if you show that you take care of your players
and you know you do so things behind the scenes,
other players take notice and so if somebody else was
to come there, they would have that comfort knowing that.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
So again this is the loyalty is proven with Devin Booker,
who has never left well, KD has been part of
how many teams I think, like that chip that ship
has sailed of loyalty with KDI just because on how
many teams he's been.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Already feel about it, and you know what, I don't,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Dislike it comes off like I, I just don't get
this because he is gonna be thirty seven.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
I did not know that.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
I thought he was under thirty five for a hot second.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
And he's he is gonna score for you.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
He's still a really, really good scorer, but his defense
isn't what it used to be. It's not so it's
I just don't get it. And for me, like the Suns,
I'm like, I don't. I don't know what you can
do to really change your trajectory. That's a good one
think here when it comes to the Western Conference, which

(13:55):
is a lot harder and tighter than the Eastern Conference.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
The Sun's done. They're done for a while for a minute,
but it's because of their their own negligs. They don't agree, not.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Just Kevin Durant, I totally agree with you.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I just but now you have power like you have
you have saying this?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
And here you are. Luckily at least one of those
teams is Houston because you could get something valuable in return.
But that's just just Kevin Durant.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
God, just stay just just my three preferred.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
There's also a rumor that that the Clippers are still
in it. I'm like, stop it, Clippers. Yes, I hope
it's not true.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
But there is a rout.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
That we already saw that were good.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
We were good, We're good. All right, Well, we'll see
what ends what ends up happening with Kevin Durant.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
And uh, there was a big trade today in the NBA.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Some people call it a blockbuster because of the amount
of first round picks going. But we're gonna ask our
NBA insider Mark but Mark Medina on the other side,
what do you think of that? And so much more
in the NBA. So don't go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
It's Fox Sports Sunday.

Pro safety Carry roads hanging out with you on this Father'sday.
They hope you guys are having a cocktail, some barbecue.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Maybe barbecue sounds so good.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Watching some sports, even though the US Open is on
a rain delay, but soccer, baseball, College World Series.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Like Louisville, Louisville, Loville.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Did I say that right?

Speaker 5 (15:45):
You got some dipping?

Speaker 8 (15:47):
Your dipping?

Speaker 2 (15:47):
My I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
I don't know what it's like to have dip in
my mouth.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Carrie, You do not know.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I do not do I Oh good, okay, sunflower seed.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Barely, but I couldn't keep them in my cheek like that.
It's impressive to me when you see baseball players just
spitting it out and You're like, where are they?

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Oh no, I keep them on one side of the cheek.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
And I'm like, but how do you get one seed
over to the other side crack it without cracking the other?
Like it is a It is a trick. It's like
Willy Wonka and the chocolate endless. It's endless, endless. Are
the things happening in the NBA? Do we have our NFL?
In NFL? NBA insider Mark Medina, are you there, high Mark?

Speaker 7 (16:30):
Carrie mintse uh lots of NBA covered here. I feel like,
even though the ratings are down, there's some of the
best basketball sitting quite a while.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Absolutely, I mean, Carrie and I love the NBA. Regardless
of the the ratings and whatnot. This has been really
really good basketball. Let's start there, because in Game four,
I feel like the Pacers just didn't know what to
do when they were up in the fourth quarter. They
just they were like, what do we do? We're up
by fifty, what do we do?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
He can actually win?

Speaker 9 (17:04):
Yeah, well, Mansa.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
It's a novel concept for them because they're usually playing
from behind that much better team that has to be
resilient and do all put on all the stops and
be the team that holds the lead down. I think
the other thing is just shageld is Alexander's playing out
of his mind. Jon He's an MVP. He did get
away with the push off. Scott Foster, you know, needs

(17:26):
to do better. But that's part of playoff basketball, you know.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
It's crazy. Like obviously, yes, ok see and and SGA,
you know, really play well in the fourth quarter. Him
him in particular, he stepped up in the fourth quarter
and played like an MVP. But I want to give
some flowers to Jalen Williams this series. He's been phenomenal
and I know it's been some up and downs with
him in his playoffs, but in the finals he's looked aggressive,
he's looked like the supporting star. What do you think

(17:50):
about that, Mark.

Speaker 7 (17:51):
Oh, you hit on all the right notes. He's been
more consistent as a secondary score and he knows from
after last season's playoff shortcomings against All that he needed
to be a better scorer. So he worked with his
trainer a lot over the offseason about how to be
more efficient on and off the ball, and I think
that's been a product of what you've seen here so far.

(18:13):
I mean, obviously everything starts and ends with Shay, but
he needs to have a definitive go to guy for
times where he's not either hitting a shot or he's
throwing too many double teams. And that's pretty challenging because
you have to be ready, but you never know when
you're going to get the ball, and Jalen's done a
good job and being able to anticipate that.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Mark, What what did you think going into the series, Like,
did you pick you know, OKC in whatever five six games?
Has that changed? Have you changed your mind based on
what you've seen the first four games. I'm just wondering
if you're now looking at this differently than you were
going into the series.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Monte.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
What's interesting is nothing's changed from a bottom line standpoint.
I thought the Thunder would win six games to begin
I still think they're going to win six games. I
just thought the order of the games would be different.
I thought the Thunder would win the first game, maybe
split the second or be up to zero, and then
Indiana would start coming from behind, because a the Thunder

(19:14):
is a better team be the Pacers are very resilient.
So I did not anticipate the Pacers kind of replicating
what they've shown against New York, where they were about
setting the tone early and showing that they're actually a
contending team that you have to take seriously. But I
think that what we saw in game four is this
is going to be a dog fight to the end.

(19:36):
But if the Thunder play at their best, they are
the better team. On paper. They had the better superstar
with shake Gilges Alixander compared to Tyris Saliburt. On paper,
they have better depth than the Pacers, and so you know,
the Pacers will put up a fight. I think now
that Thunder have reclaimed home court and they're now tapping

(19:57):
into their best basketball, they're going to wind up closing
this mark.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
I want you to put something into perspective for our listeners. Okay,
I mean this superstar thing gets thrown around a lot,
and obviously the debate around Tyre's Halliburn is. You know,
some people think he's a superstar, some people think he's
just a star. I know he's a pure point guard
at heart, and so to actually give that superstar status

(20:20):
based off just score and isn't fair. So I want
you to break down to the listeners what makes a
superstar in your eyes?

Speaker 7 (20:28):
Yeah, well, from a basketball perspective, I think it's someone
that's a complete player and that it's a given that
every single night they're going to be the leading score
on the team and making the most impact on the team.
It doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be a
dominant scorer, but that they're setting the tone. With Tyres Halvern,

(20:49):
I think he's a star player. He's not quite a
superstar yet. Wow, he's twenty five years old. That's fine,
he has room to grow. But I think the starting
point is he's been a pass first point guard. He's
established he's the best passing point guard in the NBA,
and now it's about filling the rest of it out. Now,
why he's not a score it's more has to do

(21:12):
with his strength as a passer, and he's a team
first guy. But he can become more of a scoring
threat that with being more consistent with his aggressiveness. And
that's something that his trainer, Drew Handling, is constantly in
his earbelt. And so I think that's a clear difference
though in saying, you know, oh, Tyres is overrated or
he doesn't deserve being considered a star player. He is

(21:34):
a star player, but there is that different tier from
star to superstar. But what we've seen in these playoffs
is he's grown and stuff in the right direction. He's
going to only continue to do that as his career
continues to blossom.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Mark, I want to throw something else as a follow
up on that one, because obviously the best point guard
in NBA history is considered, you know, Wily to be
Magic Johnson. He was never a scorer first. It's when
he could be aggressive. And this is just the conversation
I've had with people recently about that superstar label with
him with Tyreeves because Magic was similar, Right, Magic wasn't

(22:09):
the leading scorer on that team, but he was a
superstar that team. Obviously he won a championship, and I
think if Inianda was to somehow win a championship here,
does that flip on its head. And I think people
will be a little bit more lenient to Tyres as
a scorer. And that's kind of my question right now,
what do you think about that comparison?

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Yeah, you know what, I think that's a fair buddle,
and I would say I should take back the scoring part.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
I think.

Speaker 7 (22:36):
Hear me out though larger part is to be a superstar,
you have to have the biggest impact on your team
night tonight. And with Tyres, what's been the pattern here?
He usually has double digits with assists. There are games
where he's made game winners. He had four in the playoffs,
So that's another tier. But then there's there's a third

(22:58):
tier where he's just appeared with shooting slumps, being passive.
I think that's the bigger thing. It's not about how
many points he's scoring, how many shots he's taking, it's
how aggressive or passive he is, and with Magic he
was always aggressive. He was a past first guy because
of his nature and because Kim Abdul Jabbar was on
the team, but he was always aggressive. He always set

(23:21):
the tone. And I think when you're looking at that comparison,
it may have been Kareem's team from you know, seniority
and his scoring role, but it was Magic's team and
he was saying the tone every single night that he
was performing, and that was like the baseline expectation that
he was always providing a respectable performance and anything else

(23:43):
was a bonus on top. And with Tyres, haven't quite
seen that yet, but again he's just starting his career.
He'll get to that level.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
You're listening to Fox Sports Sunday. I'm Manzie Bilanyas alongside
former All Pro safety Carry Rhads, and we're talking to
our NBA insider Mark Medina. Mark Let's shift gears. What
are the Knicks doing last week? I sat here with
Carrie and I was like, I just feel like they
needed to have a drink and think this over. Like
they just pulled the trigger on firing tips and I

(24:15):
don't get it. What are they doing? Please explain to
me again. Whenever you want to make a tough decision,
people just have a cocktail.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
First think of it.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
Yeah, well, I don't think that's a good idea for
the next because they make even more irresponsible decisions. What's
going on with the Next is they're doing things that
historically the next used to do when James Dole was
running the show and not deferring to his front office.
This doesn't make sense to be firing a head coach

(24:42):
after getting the Eastern Conference finals for the first time
in twenty five years and then just blindly asking teams
that are very accomplished for permission to interview their head coaches.
And so I know the Knicks are saying this is
just part of their due diligence. They want to canvas
the landscape. Okay, but you also have to be when
you're asking teams with coaches that are playoff caliber, teams

(25:05):
that have no reason to leave, why would those teams
give permission? And a lot of times when you venture
down that road, it's not about oh, no harm, no foul,
there's never harmon asking. Sometimes it rubs organizations the wrong
way and makes it makes them not take you seriously.
For when you need them to be taken seriously, i e.

(25:28):
Future trade proposals. So yeah, I think the bottom line
is some of the potential candidates, with Mike Brown, Taylor Jenkins,
that's great. I would give the edge to Mike Brown
because he's more experienced, his excellently you know, his calling card,
his defense and his preparation. But you know, once he
joined the Warriors' coaching staff, he learned how to tone

(25:50):
back the intense practices in film sessions and be a
lot more innovative offensively. So what you saw in Sacramento
is he was able to tailor those personnel. I would
give the edge to him. But the Knicks, how they
started out with just asking permission to interview every accomplished
head coach that still has a job did not make
any sense.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
It doesn't make any sense. Last one here, another thing
that doesn't make sense to me, Mark is why are
the Suns accommodating Kevin Durant? Why any I don't get that.
It's like you, what have you done for me lately
besides score and not take me to the playoffs?

Speaker 8 (26:27):
Mark?

Speaker 4 (26:27):
You know what?

Speaker 7 (26:29):
I think they should be accommodated Kevin Durant because when
he's been available, he's been pretty efficient and productive. Now,
I think it's not about helping him though, It's about
making the best decision. And I think what we've seen
is even if Kevin Durant, when on the court still
plays an elite level, he has an injury history since
twenty nineteen. He deserves every penny he makes in his contract.

(26:52):
But from a cat perspective, it has prevented them from
having a complete roster, and that's the thing undoing when
they got him in the first place. So for that standpoint,
they should be traded him. But you know, for whichever
king Kevin Durant lands on, it's going to be a
net positive. He is still really good. The only problem

(27:15):
is our team's going to cut the roster to get
at their point in their career. And the answer is no,
because we've seen what's happened in Phoenix.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
Thank you, Mark Man Master going back and forth on
this for a minute, would have commenty, Kevin Durant, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
A comedy, you guys like he's going to be thirty seven.
Anybody who signs him has to the extension what did
we say, almost one hundred and twenty million for two
years it would just it would require the word that
Mark said, gutting a team to get him, and I
just don't see it because he's not twenty five years
old like Tyrese Hollibart. So I don't get it, Mark,
But whatever whatever, Mark, thank you so much for joining us.

(27:53):
You guys can follow Mark on x Twitter at Mark
g Underscore Medina.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
He does a bunch of other stuff, so follow him.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
He'll give you the latest on anything in the NBA.

Speaker 8 (28:02):
Mark.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
We appreciate you. Happy Father's Day to any fathers in
your life.

Speaker 7 (28:07):
Because I'm a happy father, says and wish you all
the best of your close ones.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
You Mark, We'll talk to you soon.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
All got to take care.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
See No, he agreed because he agreed, but agreed to
like a degree of it's kelender red. But it's like, okay,
but what about the future here? Like I get what
he's done in the past, and I get, but what
about the future. And that's that's where you know comes
into question. No, I know you're just trying to you
just trying to get me round up over here is

(28:37):
what I did. You know what I'm gonna go to
Chris Burfet, who is our technical producer and are news
anchor doing double duty today once.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Again, Chris Para, I can use one McDonald's par fay
stop it. We talked about this last week.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
We did.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
We did.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
The snack wrapts are coming back. We can bring back
to parfe We did sit she caught up a little
bit quick here. So the big story of the day
from the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies traded Desmond Bane to
the Orlando Magic for Coentavious Caldwell, Pulp, Cole Anthony and
the part that makes my eyes water as an NFL
guy for unprotected first round picks and one first round
pick swap on Sunday being giving us a little bit

(29:20):
of a boost here. Although yeah, play was suspended for
the final round of the US Open at Oa Comont,
Sam Burns still topping the leaderboard two under a waiting
end of the round. Most of the Lake groups have
yet to finish up, though, so this weeing picked up later.
We're waiting to see if this will resume on Monday
or tonight. Rain is still pretty heavy right now. Baseball scoreboard,

(29:40):
Ian Happ launched a game ending single in the tenth
inning to lift the Cubs over the Pirates three to two.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
The Rockies picked up a win over the Braves shit
Sores ten to one. It beat them down Central there. Nice.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
They're winning. They're winning a few. I don't know, maybe
like the.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
The last week, but that's they are now fourteen and
fifty seven, and I.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Think three of them came in the last week.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
I believe you are right. Red Sox blank the Yankees
to zero. The winners fell to the Reds eight to four.
Thanks some Ellie de la Cruz magic and looking in
at the College World Series of Baseball because I know
one man's watching it there Uaville.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
That's right.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
There you go, there you go.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Eliminated Arizona from the College World Series eight to three,
and I believe they will await the result of Coastal
Carolina and Oregon State. Yes, I think they get not
the winner, but the loser from there.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
I am.

Speaker 5 (30:43):
I'm not sure on that one either. I think it's it. Yeah,
I think it's an interesting one, that one.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
That games coming up at six pm Eastern and carry
and Moncy back to you too, Thank.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
You, Chris. You're listening to Fox Sports Sunday on Moncey
Belano's he is Carrie Rhoades. Be sure to check out

Speaker 3 (31:12):
On you at thube, Okay, on you at thup.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
That's how my mom would to say, Okay, magic at
Desmond Bine. What are your thoughts on that?

Speaker 5 (31:20):
I think it's a perfect fit. Yes, I think it's
a perfect fit. I mean he plays the same kind
of gritty, grimy defense that they play down in Orlando.
He can offer them the best thing that they need
right now for that team, spacing. He can shoot the ball,
and he's a winner. He's been winning in Memphis for
a couple of years now, and obviously with all the

(31:41):
injuries they had in Memphis, he was able to step
up and elevate his game and score over twenty points
a game with that team. So he doesn't have to
do that in Orlando. But the added shooting, the defense perfect.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
I get everybody's like four first round picks.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
Yeah, Lakers gave up one.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yes, Nico Harrison, once again you are brought up because
that was terrible. Of course it was, of course it was.
But mckl bridges also, I know it was a lot
more players. But mckel bridges, I think is an equivalent
to like a Desmond bin right, like a really good
player that you can act your team. There was also
a bunch of first round picks for that one. Like,
it's becoming more normal. What did Rudy Gobert get like
seventeen It's becoming more and more normal. But I agree

(32:20):
the Orlando Magic had the worst three percent. Show is
so so bad. Desmond ban is one of three NBA
players one of three, one of three with eight hundred
and made three pointers forty percent three point shooting since
entering the league in twenty twenty.

Speaker 9 (32:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
Perfect, It is a perfect fit.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
He doesn't and they didn't get rid of Kalla Bankcarra,
Franz Wagner, Jalen songs like this is such a and
I like what the Magic are doing. They're trying to
win today, tomorrow, right now. They know that the East
is a bunch of questions surrounding the Eastern Conference. Jason
Tatum out next year. So what are the Celtics gonna do? Hey,

(32:58):
if we don't, I'm not saying this happening, but if
Jalen Brown is not a Celtics next year, Celtics next year,
that would not surprise me. They have to start making
decisions for their roster, right, Nicks, they don't have a
coach right now.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Who are they gonna get?

Speaker 2 (33:08):
I don't know, maybe you can cover you're available? Uh,
Milwaukee Bucks? What are they doing?

Speaker 5 (33:13):
Even if they keep be honest, it.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Still was not enough. They're the East has an opening
that you can slip in there.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
And I like that Orlando did this and they're not
done yet.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
They're not done. But everyone's like up in arms of
the amount of picks four, but I do I'm with you.
I think this is a perfect fit for Orlando.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
And again those picks are going to be the late
round picks. They're a good team.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
And also I don't know, but they were like VJ
was like they lost In the last show with with
Steve Hart and VJ Hussey, he brought up how they
lost to the Celtics in five games, and I was like,
they did, but if you watch those games, the score,
the final score did not tell you the proper story.
The Celtics had to play their starters deep into the
fourth quarter in every game they were close. It's just

(33:58):
you look at the score and yeah, it's different, but
they were there. They were giving the Celtics a hard time.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
I like this move for Orlando, I'd more than like
it it.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Yeah, I'm with you, I'm with you. I thought we
would agree on that. Today. On the other side of this,
I'm gonna find out who is the who is the
hitter you would least like to face Carrie in a
Game seven World Series? Think about it. We're gonna talk
about that next. This is Fox Sports Sunday. Listening to
Fox Sports, I'm just letting the song breathe because I

(34:32):
like it so much. What's up, everybody, Happy Sunday, Happy
Father's Day. Thank you for tuning in and hanging out
with Carrie Rhodes and I. As we dive into a
lot of stuff, specifically a lot of NBA, you're gonna
have to go back and listen because I don't get
why the Sons are accommodating Kevin Durant. But that's a
separate conversation. Yes, you and Mark Ardina, but here we are.

(34:55):
Uh so, Carrie, I asked you before the break, who
is a hitter that you would least like to face
in a Game seven World Series if you're pitching, who's
the last hitter you would.

Speaker 5 (35:08):
Want to face? Well, it's it's crazy, and I think
there's some obvious choices. But for me personally, from what
I've witnessed the last couple of years, the guy that
I would not want to face in that situation is John.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Carlos Stanton, John Carlos Stanton.

Speaker 5 (35:21):
And I know that's probably not one of the top ones. No, no, no,
you can do that all you want. You can do
that all you want. But if you look at Don
Carlos Stanton numbers everyone. Yes, yeah, he actually wait time out. Okay, listen,

(35:41):
I hear you. And there are other I'm sure I
know there are other options. Me personally, I know, but
John Carlos he's not even top five.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Moment in big moments, he does deliver, and he didn't
last year for the Yankees.

Speaker 10 (35:57):
He just doesn't want to say say Freddy because because
he's a Yankee thing.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
Great, he's a good one.

Speaker 5 (36:03):
Oh no, no, this is the thing. It's not about
hate at all. No, this is only only my preference.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Yes, So if you missed it. The Athletic has a
story on an anonymous poll from MLB players and they
asked him three different questions, and it's it's not many players.
It's a small percentage, right, like they do every year,
not every single team, like the same stuff. But one
of the questions that was asked was who is the

(36:29):
hater you would least like to pitch against in Game
seven of the World Series. There were sixty four responses
to this, and the number one answer were there were
sixty four people. Sixty four players responded to this particular question. Okay,
John Carlos Stown is not in any of these answers.
But the person that had the most, I mean, would
it be Can I take a guess? Yeah, take a guess.

(36:51):
On that list, it was sixty four votes.

Speaker 5 (36:53):
Just so you know, on that list it would be Show. Hey.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
He came in at number two with nine of those votes.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
All right, go ahead, let's let's go jump roll.

Speaker 8 (37:03):
Please.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Juan Soto.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
What no, no, I no, I get it, I get it.

Speaker 8 (37:10):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Though Huan Soda got ten of those vote ten of
the votes, show Heyo Tani got nine Aaron Judge came
in at number three with six of those votes. Then
Jordan Alvarez, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Bets, and Jose Ramirez all
got four, Bobby Wood Junior three, Bryce Harper three, and
then there's a bunch of people who got one, like
per Se, including like you know, Fernando Tatis Junior is

(37:33):
in there. I brought Yeldevers is there, but Ronald Kuna
Junior hostel too, But those got one. Juan Soto, I
was a little bit surprised, if I'm.

Speaker 11 (37:41):
Being completely on, I'm surprised that right now, now this
is last year. Again, this is a different story, right
like right and so right now, absolutely not I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (37:52):
I'm with you. But if it was last year, it
makes sense.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yes, what picture would you least like to face out
the plate in Game seven of the World Series.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
I mean, he's not ever, he's never going to make
the playoffs, but I'll say Paul Skins, Paul Skins is
in this.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Either was fifty respondents to this. He's like in the
middle of the pack. He got three votes, but Chris
Sale for the Braves got the most eight. Trek Scooball
came in at number two with five of those votes.
So yeah, Zach Wheeler was in there, but I'm with you,
Paul Skins in a couple of years might be at
number one. And the number one question that was asked
in this anonymous poll was which player do you like

(38:28):
to watch play the most?

Speaker 5 (38:31):
I know that one, so it'll be cheating if I
said that one.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
That one is and Sho Heo Tani, which makes the
most sense I think to a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
But coming in at number two is not who I
would expect.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
It wasn't Judge, It wasn't Judge, it wasn't Elie de
la Cruz.

Speaker 11 (38:46):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
It was Bobby wit Junior.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Like Bobby Wa.

Speaker 8 (38:49):
I like him too.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I'm just surprised that he was number in at number
two with fourteen of these votes. These were one hundred
and thirty five respondents. Wow, and Shoeo Tani got twenty nine,
Bobby wood Une got fourteen. Ronald A. Kuna Junior came
in at number ten. Alie de la Cruz came in
with nine of those votes, then Mookie seven, Aaron Judge
five Wow, along with Francisco Lindor. Mike Trott is in there.

(39:12):
But he got four like Paul Skeens is in there too,
But I think shoeo Toni is the obvious answer to
that one.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
I mean, yeah, but you know, I'm a Judge guy,
but you're I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
I would have put Judge higher, though, Like, I'm surprised
he won by so many. It wasn't like Joeyo Toni
got twenty five and then it was Aaron Judge got twenty.
Obviously you think there's jealousy involved in some of these
or like no, I.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
Mean, so sho Hey is fun and obviously we haven't
seen a player like him, so of course I understand it.
I understand it.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
I don't know coming up on the other side, who
was more annoying this week. I'm gonna give you two options.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Nobody else, don't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
It's Fox Sports Sunday. That's right. What's up? Everybody? Happy Sunday,
Happy Father's Day to all the day ads and LAPAs
out there. Thank you for hanging out with Carrie and
I on Uh this not it's not supposed to be
a busy day in sports, but it really is. I
know there's no NBA and no Stanley Cup Final, but
it's a busy day with golf, with soccer, with baseball,

(40:15):
with college baseball. There is a lot going on. So
hope you're enjoying yourselves. Maybe be a little cocktail, a
little barbecue. I would absolutely be having a cocktail right now,
you know that I do.

Speaker 5 (40:26):
I'd be having the barbecue, nice little maybe, yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Okay, yeah, because you're healthy. Yeah, because you like to
keep you know, toxins out of your body.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
A lot of toxics in my body. Uh so us
you know, balance, guys, balance, don't worry.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
Don't worry. But this week we saw great NBA games, Carrie,
you know you this wor w w A. These NBA
Finals have been so fun to watch in so many
different ways. And I know Scott Foster the extender, you know,
like yes he not not only was did shake el
just maybe maybe push off a little bit, but Lou

(41:04):
dort On that play with Tyrese Halliburn just shoves him
and it just was like, okay, you probably should have
maybe called that foul as well. But there's always people
that make the news for reasons they shouldn't make the news.
So this week, who was more annoying this week in
the news?

Speaker 5 (41:24):
Carrie, I don't get annoyed easy.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
You don't get annoyed easy. So let's see he was
more annoying this week?

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Was it stephen A. Smith playing solitaire blossoms okay and
then claiming and then claiming that it was during a
time out when there's actual proof and video that it
wasn't during the time I just like stephen A put
it put a pin or Lebron James tweeting. Go to
his page, guys, if you haven't seen this video, he

(41:50):
tweeted it yes day June fourteenth, so literally in the
middle of the NBA Finals, and it is a seven
second video of him standing at what looks like a
or sitting at what looks like a press conference, and
all of these flashes of lights from reporters, and the
question is about his future, his retirement, and then the

(42:13):
quote in his video says, I've been asking myself the
same question.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
Dot dot dot, can we do one more dot?

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Well? No, there's three dots, three dots with the crown
emoji and then the emoji where it's like the thinking
emoji like hum and hashtag AD.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
So yes, whatever, it's an AD.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
I don't care. I don't care. Why are you putting
this video out in the middle of the NBA Finals
like this?

Speaker 5 (42:42):
You know what, can we can we get Lebron to
go back dark? Can we social media? Absolutely? Remember he
needs to do that all the time.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
I'm stepping away.

Speaker 5 (42:51):
Can we get that? Yeah, I'm tired of I'm tired
of seeing Lebron right now?

Speaker 12 (42:55):
Right?

Speaker 5 (42:56):
Yes, this isn't your time that ad because we came
out in the summer. We didn't need it now. So
calculated and you know he had a voice and when
it was released, absolutely he could have waited.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
It's on his Twitter, It's on his Twitter page.

Speaker 5 (43:12):
So what's one am I more annoyed by? Obviously Lebron?

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Obviously Lebron, Lebron.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
I don't even know if it is Bron. It might
be Steven An.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
We're going to see you. I just Lebron, Like this
was so calculate, Like you said, why right now? You
could have easily tweeted this out and can you give
us two weeks? Can the NBA Finals be over it?
Give us a little something. But it's like you want
people to talk about you right now and to say,
like I've been asking myself the same question, shut up,
shut up, tell us whether you're retiring or not, so

(43:43):
we could do this farewell tour that we all know
you want.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
And listen, yes, right, we'll all go watch you. We
will all tune in.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Like nobody is denying the greatness that you are. We're
also not denying the annoying person that you are as well.
And this is a very annoying.

Speaker 3 (43:59):
Move that you did posting this little video again.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Go to his Twitter page. He has it up. He
posted this yesterday. You cannot miss it. Somebody else that
also likes to pretend that they don't like attention, but
they do steven A.

Speaker 5 (44:14):
Steven A, He does not pretend that he doesn't want
attention very well at all.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
He does very well. But he walks around like, oh no,
I'm just here to report on this and taught me
this NBA analyst, this insider, this whatever. And you're at
Game four, a game that was not a blowout, Carrie,
A game that was a great game, a great game
from beginning to end. It was a fun game to watch,

(44:39):
and you're playing Solitaire.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
Solitaire, I mean he could at least play Minecraft, something
that was more exciting. That was crazy, Like, how are
you not watching an NBA game there and you're playing Solitaire,
that's insane.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
Or Candy Crush. Candy Crush is fun too.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
My mom loves that Candy Crush.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
I do play Solitaire, I will tell you that. Yeah,
but you know when I play, No, when I am
bored out of my mind and I have no Wi
Fi or I have no Internet or nothing in front
of me. What level are you on Candy Rush. I'm
embarrassed to tell you. I look, I'm embarrassed. I'll tell
you right now. Of course I play Candy Rush. Of

(45:19):
course I play. Hold On, I'm embarrassed to tell.

Speaker 10 (45:21):
You you have you touched your Facebook to absolutely not?

Speaker 2 (45:25):
No, I don't have a picture. I don't want you
guys to know that it's me.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
I don't, it's not my name, something else.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Let me tell me. I'm hold on. It's like, oh,
I haven't played today, so you know, it's not like scroll.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Yeah, Like it's like, oh, you haven't played today, you.

Speaker 5 (45:38):
Haven't done this, So you guys are like closet, Like
this is closet Candy Crush players. You don't want anybody
to know either.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Yeah, I don't need you to ask me for lives
or what not.

Speaker 10 (45:48):
Mine's hired. Do you think is higher?

Speaker 8 (45:50):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (45:50):
Okay, I have I'm gonna I'm gonna go with I'm
gonna go with Manzi's being highed. Yeah, I'm going to
go with.

Speaker 3 (45:58):
I am on level nine thousand and ninety one.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
Where are you where, Carrie? So he says, I'm not lying.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
I thought I had it bad. Where am I looking at? Mons? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (46:14):
Nine thousand.

Speaker 5 (46:17):
And sixteen eighty one. That's what I figured.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
That's what I figured. So at least I'm winning here. Okay,
I'm not even proud of that, but I'm winning.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
Wake up there?

Speaker 8 (46:27):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (46:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (46:29):
You know, I it's never restarted for me, Like when
I got a new phone and I like loaded, it's
been the same levels. Like I haven't lost my levels.
You know what I'm saying. I think our technical producer
slash News anchor Christophett wants to jump in.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
Sorry, we can't go past us without someone dropping. It's
over nine thousand. It is overnight thousand.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Yes, so there's there there, am I see?

Speaker 10 (46:53):
That's yeah?

Speaker 5 (46:55):
Like that's no, You're fine, You're.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
Fine, You're good, you guys, guys, It's just it's great,
it's great. It's nine Yeah, and the thing is like
figure it out, yes you do, you just never mind.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
We'll talk about this off yes, well about this off air,
Back to solitaire.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Back to stephen A. Stephen A, if you are, if
you would you not say that stephen A is the
number one quote unquote NBA analyst in sports. Yeah, according
to ESPN, right, and the money he makes, he's paid
like it. And to do this, I feel like, not

(47:32):
only are you making a fool out of yourself because
people are already don't take you seriously, like so many
people turn you off, but they don't take your take seriously.
They may tune in because they think Molly's cute. I'm
not gonna lie. I know a lot of I sometimes
do it because I honestly what Molly's wearing, because I
think it's just cute. But I'm not doing it to
listen to steven A. Maybe you tune in because you
want to see the argument with steven A and whoever

(47:53):
he has on the show. But stephen A's words, nobody
cares me.

Speaker 5 (47:57):
You know what's crazy about this? Right now? This is
how the universe in the world works. That I think
it was that morning, or at the most it was
the day before he had his phone and his tablet
opened on the show, Yes, and Molly was trying to
save him in that moment, and he didn't listen very arrogantly.

(48:19):
That's what he gets.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
That's what he gets.

Speaker 5 (48:20):
It happened like right after that.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
You were so right. That was this week, absolutely this
week in studio.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
She was trying to tell me because the camera panned
and he was showing his laptop, so it's like, were
you I didn't pay close attention, but she was probably
like who knows what you have on your laptop exactly?
You probably don't have notes about the show. You're probably
playing solid solitary, is what she was saying. And he
didn't pay attention. Again, was rude about it. I agree
with you, And now here he is. And then he
goes out and says that it was during a time out,

(48:48):
and you're just like, stephen A, I don't understand. Do
you think that video of him playing or the shot
it was a picture of him? I think it looks
like you're in the middle of people, like like maybe
you're in a suite like a box, but you're still there.
So it's like, how are you not smarter about your choices,

(49:10):
like you weren't in the bathroom, in the stall, you
weren't alone in a suite that maybe you're on the
inside part of the suite because you know how sweets
have like the outside. And then you weren't on the
inside sitting next to a fellow coworker. It seemed like
you were out in the arena where everyone can watch you,
and you're playing solitaire.

Speaker 5 (49:29):
It was a bad look. I mean, you're the guy
that's supposed to be talking about what's happening in the
action at halftime and then after the show, and you're
missing the action to play solitaire. It's a slap in
the face. It's a slap in the face to ESPN.
It's a slap in the face so the fans that
tune in to hear what he has to say. It's
very disrespectful and it kind of falls in line with,

(49:51):
like I said, the way he acted the prior day
or the day before or whatever that was in concurrence
with this laptop in the phone. He's just showing his
true colors and that's what that's what it boils down to.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
And you're so right, a slap in the face, disrespectful
to the Pacers and the thunder Yes to like not
just the fans who listen to you, but to that
game that you were supposed to be covering. So which
is why I think he was actually more annoying than Lebron.

Speaker 5 (50:20):
Do you put him over Lebron?

Speaker 3 (50:21):
Like I was annoyed with that video of Lebron.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
I just was I really, Lebron, you put this out
right now, But it's Lebron almost like he almost gets
a pass because we know he's Lebron. You go what
I'm saying, And like, also, your your job, You're not
You're not supposed to be covering anything. You're at home,
You're you're in CanCon one two three, can coon. You
know what I'm saying, You, stephen A, are not. And

(50:45):
so I find I like it really did rub me
the wrong way. And if that would have been a woman,
like hypothetically speaking, sure, if that would have been Malika
Andrews on the phone sitting near the game playing Solitaire.

Speaker 5 (51:01):
It wouldn't she would have been she would have been.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
Crushed about it.

Speaker 5 (51:04):
Yeah, And so I agree with that. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Yeah, So just like stephen A, you're so you're so
lucky because nothing is gonna happen to you. Nothing's gonna
happen here, you know, like we're talking about it, but
in reality, noth's gonna happen to you.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
You're still making millions of dollars, but you may.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Be losing people's attention. And I don't know if in
the grand scheme of things, it's really gonna affect ESPN,
but it can be the beginning of that.

Speaker 5 (51:29):
I mean, everybody's already talking about the coverage in this
ESPN is terrible. Of the finals with ESPN is terrible, terrible,
So you throw it on top of it. Not a
good look. But I still have Lebron Winn the most
annoying of the week in a in a photo fitness
though it's really close.

Speaker 3 (51:45):
It's really close, so annoying. Bad look.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Also a bad look with what's happening with the Bengals
in Cincinnati. And so why don't we dive into that
next with our NFL insider Adam Kaplan. We've got so
many questions. Don't go on anywhere. This is Fox Sports Sunday. Yes,
I just want you to know, Mary, I say that
entire part right now to carry off the microphone because
I don't have a great singing voice, So I just

(52:09):
don't want you guys to have to hear me sing.
But I just sing all of that to carry right now.

Speaker 5 (52:13):
I've never seen you sing it so thoroughly. Oh, I
got you. You're in it. You're in that one.

Speaker 8 (52:18):
See.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
And I was about to say all those words I
should have said.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
It's a good thing, I do you know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
Yeah, good job, good job. None of it's fact.

Speaker 7 (52:28):
All right.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
What's up? Everybody? Happy Sunday, Happy Father's Day to everybody
out there celebrating and listening. We hope you're having fun.
We hope you're being safe. We're hanging out here at
Fox Sports Radio. He is Carrie Roads, the former All
Pro safety. I am Monci Belanos, and we have our
NFL insider Adam Kaplin with us. Adam, Happy Father's Day.

Speaker 8 (52:48):
How are you, Gods? I'm well.

Speaker 13 (52:50):
I hope you're all doing well and looking forward to
Believe it or not, there's still some OTAs.

Speaker 8 (52:55):
That are going on.

Speaker 13 (52:56):
The Ravens and some other clubs will wrap it up
this week and then they'll be off time late July.
But yeah, it's it's been an interesting couple weeks here in.

Speaker 5 (53:02):
The national Football League, Adam, Let's stay let's stay right there.
Let's talk about the Ravens. Yeah, I guys, we know
that Lamar Jackson has been a no show and it's
going to miss a big portion of a bonus opportunity
that he had. Speak about that, Is there any concern there?

Speaker 8 (53:18):
Well, look, he's kind of overdue here.

Speaker 13 (53:20):
They're going to take a look at his contract and
that's you know, that's expected around the league. The quarterback
numbers are skyrocketing. Remember Carry, Let's not forget when they
did his deal just two years ago. It was it
was completed a five year extension in May of twenty
twenty three. He was historic, you know, he got a
great deal. Yeah, you know by kind of waiting on

(53:43):
it and then he got a great deal fifty two
million a year. That the structure is really good. But
now we're seeing the cellar skywreck. I mean, Dak Prescott
got sixty million a year and let's face it, the
marsh been a Arab player. Yeah, so that'll be fascinting
to see how they handle this year. It's you typically
don't redo these within two years. Now, what you can

(54:04):
do is an adjustment, like the Eagles did with Saquon
Barkley where he had a storic season best in NFL
history through the Super Bowl and they adjusted his contract
and they took care of him.

Speaker 8 (54:14):
This one is going to be interesting to see what
they do here.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
So many questions when it comes to contracts. Let's shift
over to the Bengals. So latest reports are with Trey
Hendrickson that they're talking again. But can you explain to me,
like I'm five, Adam, what is happening with Shamar Stewart
because I keep reading it into like the language of
the contract and I can't explain this to me like
I'm five, please.

Speaker 5 (54:35):
All right.

Speaker 13 (54:35):
So basically, and Karry knows this as a former player,
there's what's called default language in every NFL contract. If
you violate it, if you violate it for contract detrimental,
you do something on toward the club could guarantee could
avoid the guaranteed money in the contract. Well, considering all
first round picks, all the money the first four years

(54:56):
are fully guaranteed. It's signing, okay, you, So the fact
is right, They they they want to they want to
do something interesting to the contract. Uh, And they want
to have some leverage here and and he's not standing
for it. They want to basically moncy. They want to
do something that no other team is really doing here,

(55:18):
and he's not going for He and his agent aren't
going for it, and that's that's the problem.

Speaker 8 (55:22):
Look, I remember talking to Carl Pickens.

Speaker 13 (55:24):
I got to know Carl at a local networking event
in Philly and we actually talked about and this is
obviously in the nineties, is a long time ago that
he had such a problem with the Bengals that he
was willing to lose money on a signing bonus because
he had He's just sick and tired of the way
they did business.

Speaker 8 (55:44):
And we remember Corey Dillon want it out.

Speaker 13 (55:47):
They've had problems that you got to Hendrickson situation where
by the way they want to do an extension with him,
they're just not there on the structure of the deal
and the.

Speaker 8 (55:55):
The the what the average per year will be. So
it's it's interesting that they're doing.

Speaker 13 (56:02):
They're they're taking a hard line and with their history
of issues with spending money, and then they kind of
surprised us of resigning to Higgins.

Speaker 8 (56:11):
Was a lot of people on the league think thought
they wouldn't do this.

Speaker 13 (56:15):
Has not been a great offseason for them, a lot
of negative publicity, which is really what you don't want.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
And so they are really because I've read mixed reports
that they that there are other teams that have similar
language to this. You're saying that it's they're doing.

Speaker 6 (56:29):
Something that hasn't been done well, not at the top
to the at his slot, Like I think what you're
saying this, yeah, this early, they're just they're trying to
put they're trying to be at strong arm of default language.

Speaker 13 (56:42):
And because what happens you look at contract comparables where
you're picking right, and they're not finding anything that's the
same that they want to be different.

Speaker 8 (56:50):
It is not smart. I'm a little surprised.

Speaker 13 (56:52):
That they're they're taking this hard line and it's you know,
it's a team that you didn't have a good season
last year.

Speaker 8 (56:58):
They fired their defense coordinator lou and of remote.

Speaker 13 (57:00):
Now with Indy, yeah, they got to they've got to
build the trust of people around there there. You know,
they got the contract, they got the stadium issue. There
are a lot of things going on here with the
Bengals are not very positive.

Speaker 2 (57:09):
And so if this continues and he really doesn't sign,
he can just re enter the draft. Is that correct?

Speaker 8 (57:15):
We have to sit the year yeah, the year out.

Speaker 13 (57:17):
Oh yeah, there's a date that he would have to
sign or he can't play the season. And look you
could yeah, I mean, look, there are things that you
can do to really stick it to the club and
to go back in the draft. Yeah, you can do that,
but there's certain things he's got he yeah, he's long
ways away from doing that.

Speaker 8 (57:35):
M M.

Speaker 13 (57:36):
I would expect this to get resolved. This is embarrassing. Yeah,
I can't imagine that they're gonna they're going to continue this. Uh,
you know, we're talking about late August, early September. Like
and by the way, he's a schmart Stewart's a very
raw player. He needs a lot of work. This is
not good that this is happening, that he's missing valuable
practice time in OTAs.

Speaker 5 (57:55):
I want to go back to the Ravensville one aecond.
I know it's they got a lot of they got
a lot of questions as well, I mean things that
have been kind of under the surfers. Obviously Tucker being gone,
and then now we talk about Hamilton is going to
get paid like one of the best players in that
league as well, So that contract's coming up. But what's
going on with Mark Andrews, because we saw at the

(58:15):
end of last year that there are some rumblings that
this may be is last year with the team and
then moving on from him. Have you heard anything about that?

Speaker 8 (58:23):
Yeah, So this is interesting. Okay.

Speaker 13 (58:24):
So they've got Isaiah Likely, who was by the way,
it's on the last year's rookie deal. They're going to
extend its contract, yep. And then Mark Andrews is on
the last year of his venteror extension. It's going to
make about eleven million this season. And you know he's
he's I mean, he's at the point now he turns

(58:45):
twenty nine in September. Now, the thing is they're a
big twelve personnel team, a lot of two tight end
sets and Charlie Kohler, who's their third string tight end.
It's a pretty good backup Toed and he's had a
lot of injuries, but a good player. He's on the
last year was a rookie deal. So this is going
to be interesting. I see him playing the contract yet
I don't see him extending Andrews. And for sure I

(59:05):
see them trying to extend likely he's he's really good. Really, Yeah,
he's a big time talent. He's the future at tight
end at that position. Uh, And look, they have to
have a lot of tight ends. This is type of
offense that they run like they've got They extended shot
Bateman's contract. Say, Flowers has done done a nice job.
They want to see Tess Walker, who hasn't done much

(59:27):
so far early in his career. They want to see
him expand his role. But this is about the tight
end really with this offense.

Speaker 2 (59:32):
Of course, Derek Henry, jay R Alexander and the Packers
they no longer together, a breakup that apparently jay R
Alexander's father says they didn't want to have guaranteed money
in the contract on crime.

Speaker 3 (59:46):
Yeah do we where do we see him ending up Ravens?

Speaker 8 (59:51):
Well, well, I would say yeah, I would say this.

Speaker 13 (59:53):
I would expect him to go somewhere where a he'll
be a starter and be he has a chance to win,
like if you're a pretty good team. That that's that's
what I see now. The Ravens with Nate Wiggins the
first round of lecture. It's good Marlin Humphrey's trific They
did sign Chiddobi a Woose formerly of the Titans who
cut They cut him TJ Tampa.

Speaker 8 (01:00:11):
They like him.

Speaker 13 (01:00:11):
He was hurt last season as the fourth rounder what
Alexander and he wound up losing seventeen point five million.
He won't make close to that. But he's got to understand,
like you have to, you know, your twenty eight big
injury history, miss twenty games over the last two seasons.

Speaker 8 (01:00:28):
What's going to be more important to you? And that's
the thing. Now.

Speaker 13 (01:00:31):
The Rams they still want they want to bring back
Jayalen Ramsey. They haven't figured that out yet what the
money's going to look like because the Dolphins are on
the hook for twenty point five million and they know
they're going to have to you know, a portion of
that contract, so that that is not going to work
out yet. Yeah, I would expect to move along. I
expect Alanxander are most likely to go to a pretty
good team where he can go in and most likely start.

(01:00:53):
I don't I don't see him going somewhere for him
to be a backup that that just would not make
any sense.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:01:00):
So look, look, if he's just about the money and says,
you know what winning is an important Well, then he
can look at going to the Raiders or really bad
at Corner or the Titans or something like that if
he's looking for money, not looking to win. But I
have a hard time believing at this point he's not
going to want to go somewhere where he's got a
chance to do something more substantial in terms of winning.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Well, if the Stealers are looking to win, what is
the latest with TJ Watt?

Speaker 13 (01:01:28):
Yeah, they know they're going to have to do something
with TJ Wat's contract. Now, he's not an historic deal.
He does turn thirty one in October, he's had some injuries.
This one's not easy to figure out this one. See
that's the issue that Bengs were having with Trey Hendrickson,
who also turns thirty one. I think fact, I think
they were born one month of each other. It's kind
of what is that going to look like? What you

(01:01:50):
would think will get a better deal? Now, see here's
a thing what will make it easier. Once Michael Parsons
gets his deal, which will be a minimum of forty
million per season, then it makes it a little bit easier.

Speaker 8 (01:02:00):
Else you're fairly close to.

Speaker 13 (01:02:01):
What I understand. But once that deal gets done. And
I know he's much younger. I understand that, but you
see what the top of the heap gets. Yeah, and
then you work your way down. It's hard with older
players once you're in your thirties, because you know they're
all going to play two or three more years and
you want to be able to get out.

Speaker 8 (01:02:17):
Of the contract. These are not like baseball contracts, guys.

Speaker 13 (01:02:19):
They club structure where if maybe the guy falls off
at thirty two or thirty three, they don't want to
be on the hook for future money.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
Right right, I'm moving on, I'm going all over the place.
You're just want you to give me what you got. Okay,
what is the situation with Terry McLaurin and the commander?

Speaker 8 (01:02:37):
Yeah, this will get done.

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
You you're not worried about it.

Speaker 13 (01:02:40):
No, people, It's really funny. And clubs never have there
and see the agents do or players do. They try
to humor them. Hey, we love them, you know, you know,
we're happy to talk a deal, and then you know
they don't get serious until they have something held over
their head, which is the start a training camp. You know,
the guys willing to lose the money from not being

(01:03:02):
there in the off season, but it's different in training
camp now. McLaurin, by the way, is this is all
He's in the last year of a three year extension.
He's vastly underpaid. He'll make He'll make under twenty million
this season. So yeah, they know that, they know what
the cash is going to have to look like. It's
gonna have to be thirty five million plus. I expect

(01:03:22):
this to get done. And by the way, this is
the off season of building around jayde and Daniels, right. Yeah,
they traded for Laramie Tunsel, who's going to be the
franchise left tackle. They drafted Josh Carnelly, who's going to
move from left to right tackle this year. They made
the trade for Deebo Samuel. This is what they're They're
trying to build around this player, and to do that,

(01:03:45):
they need everybody you know, in lockstep here. So and look,
they came out of nowhere, and I know that, I
know the Washington kind of knew that their their team
probably overachieved last season. That's why they've been so aggressive.
And I expect, you know, expect this McLaurin thing to
get done. It's going to get done. Just they're not there.
They're ways away on agreeing to what the numbers should
look like. He has been I mean you're talking about

(01:04:07):
character guy, been a great story development this This guy
was drafted by Ron Rivera in twenty nineteen to the
third round and he's been a great story out of
Vive State, by the way, and that the funny thing was,
if recall that was the Paris Camel draft for Paris Campbell,
a former high state receiver, same year, one round ahead
of him, and mccorm became a much better football player.

Speaker 5 (01:04:27):
Adam, I want to say right there for one more
one more question here regarding Deebo Samuel, there was a
viral video that came out where he looked a little chunky.

Speaker 13 (01:04:36):
Well, he's kind of built like I don't know if
you I've seen him up close, he's kind of broad
like his chest he's out there a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
Yeah, yeah, any concerns no.

Speaker 13 (01:04:47):
Adam Peters, the general manager, was with him with the
Niners that he knows now when I'm with them and
in their training camp, and it's kind of like.

Speaker 8 (01:04:57):
If he doesn't look right, then I you know, we'll
do the segment.

Speaker 13 (01:05:01):
You know, on that Saturday and I'll let you know,
or Sunday, excuse me, Sunny for this show and I'll
let you know. But yeah, I don't. I don't believe
that there's any concern there with debo. Yeah, that was
an odd picture.

Speaker 8 (01:05:13):
I will tell you.

Speaker 13 (01:05:14):
Look, I'll give you one another one. This is this
is going way back. Remember Eddie Lacey of course went
back for the package. Just a big dude. There was
this picture. He had a side view of him. I
was like, it was really not it didn't look good.
Thirty pounds every year. He's a big dude anyway, and
I was like, oh my wow, he looks like two
seventy five. Now again it was a side view. The

(01:05:36):
jersey was sticking out. You gotta be careful with that stuff.
I get it though. Look you see that.

Speaker 5 (01:05:40):
You go wait a minute, uh oh, especially somebody who
has an injury history too.

Speaker 8 (01:05:44):
He does major injury history. Yes, that's a fair point.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Adam, Thank you so much for hanging out with us
on this Father's Day.

Speaker 8 (01:05:50):
Are you a father, Adam, Well, my wife and I are.
You know, we're parents of dogs. But it's about day.

Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
Hey, No you are, No, you are, Happy Father's Day,
Happy Father's das in your life. Thank you for having
out with us. Yes, appreciate you. You guys can follow
Adam Kaplan on ex Twitter at Kaplan NFL. We took
him all over the place. I know, we took him everywhere.

Speaker 5 (01:06:13):
We want a question.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
There were a lot of questions.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Yeah, I know. So thanks thank you Adam, because I
all of the things I had listened to ask him.
I got him out, so we good. Let's check over
at the news desk with Christophett, who has officially moved over.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
I have a question about the dad thing because I
was thinking of this the other day because my big
guy Ruby, the stray cat I've picked up. He's thirteen
years old, but in cat years, I'm pretty sure that
puts him well in front of me.

Speaker 5 (01:06:41):
So I'm trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Figure out if if he's your daddy, I mean, he might.

Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
As well be, with how much I spend on him
and how much I feed him and all the treats
he gets. But yeah, I'm just doing the calculations in
my head. On whose Father's Day?

Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
It actually right? Well, good on you for not putting
them in a home man at this point, Yeah, why
would I do exactly? He's gone and coast to coast
with me.

Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
He's he can be wherever he wants to be anyway,
onto the onto the Sports US Open final round has resumed.

Speaker 5 (01:07:09):
Sam Burns' lead is now down.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
He is now even, which means he has a single
one stroke lead over Carlos Ortiz and Adam Scott as
play is resuming in a very uh wet oh come
on right now. We'll see if they're how how long
this holds up. Meanwhile, on the pitch, team USA has
kicked off against the cut against Trindad and Tobago in

(01:07:32):
the CONCA CAF Gold Cup. Christian Pulositch notably not playing,
but USA is on the board with a Malik Tillman
goal in the twenty first minute, so we'll see how
well they handle that. I think last time these two met,
USA beat Tridad Tobago by six goals. Baseball scoreboard, let's
start in the college ranks, Louisville, Sorry one more time.

Speaker 2 (01:07:56):
If it sounds a little off, that's probably right.

Speaker 5 (01:07:58):
Just just keep going, just keep going more.

Speaker 4 (01:07:59):
Gutt roll eight to three, defeating Arizona and knocking them
out of the College World Series. So all bets are
off and they will await the loser of Coastal Carolina
and Wold I say earlier.

Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
I believe it was South Carolina. Oh no, no, South
Carolina's not in this tournament. I just had this up
and this is terribly embarrassing on me. Coastal Carolina and
Oregon State.

Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
Excuse me. My brain was choking on LSU for some reason.
That's that's that's on me. Red Sox blank the Yankees
two zero. Nscastianos gets a Grand Slam against the Phillies
and they defeat the Blue Jays eleven to four. And
finally a little bit of fun stuff from earlier. There
was tennis on Taylor. Fritz American picked up his first victory,

(01:08:46):
his first big victory, and the Stute Guart Open over
Alexander Saverev and Saverav had some this. This was a
tough match. These two have been going back and forth
while and Zaverav, in his concession speech had some words
for Fritz, some very fun words.

Speaker 5 (01:09:03):
Let's take a listen, elast, but at least Taylor, I'm
all right of you. I don't want to I don't
want to see you again over the next two three years.

Speaker 8 (01:09:13):
Please stay away from me. Don't don't come to Germany anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
That's good, good, good fun. Laughs out there and Moncey
and carry back to you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:09:25):
Chris.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio on this Father's Day.
He's Carrie, I'm Moncey, Carrie. What are the Knicks doing?

Speaker 8 (01:09:34):
Do we?

Speaker 13 (01:09:35):
Like?

Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
I just they've asked to speak to so many people
and everyone has been like.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Nah, no, we're good.

Speaker 5 (01:09:42):
You know over here?

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
What was the plan? Was this the plan?

Speaker 5 (01:09:46):
This could not have been the plan.

Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
Like it's like they're just throwing stuff at the wall
and hoping something.

Speaker 5 (01:09:50):
Sticks, something will stick.

Speaker 14 (01:09:55):
You.

Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
Yeah, but this is is this is not this is
not good planning.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
No, it seems like, again we talked about this last week.
It just seems like you reacted emotionally after a bad
loss that you thought you should have won. But why
why pull that trigger? Why do that without a real plan?
Everyone that you asked already turned you down. From the
Mavericks to Houston. You asked Timberwolves to speak to Chris Finch.

Speaker 5 (01:10:22):
Right, he just got what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
What are we doing? And they asked the Hawks to
talk to Quinn Snyder. The Bull said no, if.

Speaker 5 (01:10:34):
The Bulls told you no, the bulls said, the bulls.

Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Who have not done any no disrespect, but they have it.
The bulls have done all of these moves and they
can't get over the hump of being in the plane
and losing to the Miami.

Speaker 5 (01:10:45):
Heat that has been there, and they just extended and they.

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
Just extended like that. So the latest is that they're
gonna meet with former Kings coach Mike Brown and former
Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins. But it's like it it does
seem like that's who you wanted, because that would have
been the first people you ask.

Speaker 5 (01:11:03):
No, I'm still I'm still wondering where the Mike Malone
stuff is here, because I think that'd be a perfect
fit for him. You think so, I do.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
I wonder if just Michael Malone has already to lose
people something the feelers like, No, I'm not don't even
don't let against me.

Speaker 5 (01:11:17):
It's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Yeah, yeah, because again, I don't see this as a
situation that seems very welcoming if you're a coach, I
just the situation is not ideal. Yeah, yeah, you're expecting
me to at least make it to the finals. Again,
there's no way yet I can do anything less? Yeah,
so I I don't know, and I am looking forward
to seeing the the dumpster fire that is a Nix

(01:11:39):
continue on their search for a coach. How do you
feel though about not using headphones in public? That's where
we're going to get into next. A little carry on
or off? Don't go anywhere. It's Fox Sports Sunday. Oh
what is fancy? But what makes someone fancy? Is that

(01:12:01):
the same as Bougie? No, okay, our technical producer. Bougie's
like snobby, not fancy. Okay, So fancy is Bogie character

(01:12:21):
stood on er? Okay, okay, because I've always thought i
was Bougie. So you're telling me I'm fancy. She's like,
I'm not gonna call Yeah. Oh what's up? Everybody? Thanks
for hating now. He is Carrie Rhoades, the former All
Pro safety. I am monci Velano s hanging out with
you on this Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to everybody

(01:12:42):
out there celebrating.

Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
But let's have some fun. It's time re little carry
on or off.

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
If you've never listened to this segment, basically, Carrie's gonna
tell us whether he's on board or not with certain
things that I'm gonna present to him. It's really easy.
Al right. So, Carrie, how do you feel about people
not using their headphones in public?

Speaker 5 (01:13:05):
Coming in hot, coming hot? I don't know if it's
that bad. So I'm going to say, I'm I'm on,
You're on, I'm on.

Speaker 3 (01:13:17):
Now, you sound like a person that doesn't use headphones
in public.

Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
You caught me, You caught me? Yes, I think if
the volume is at the right tone and the right
volume intensity, the other person should be minding their business,
not worried about what I am.

Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
No consideration, no, absolutely terrible.

Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
Oh here we go.

Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
You know Tyre's Halliburn did a little segment with Kevin Hart.
I think it's called that show he has Cold as
Balls where they go in the and this with Tyre's Haliburton.
How to say about Lebron James during the Olympics room.

Speaker 5 (01:13:54):
His iPad on his chest, watching the Sopranos, no headphones,
full volume, walk in the training room. What he's saying anything?

Speaker 8 (01:14:02):
Dan?

Speaker 5 (01:14:03):
I tell him like, you're literally the beats guy. Why
don't you got no headphones on? Yeah? That's me. I'm
so on my age. I guess stop doing that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
Carrie, dolease stop doing that. I should not be able
to hear what you're listening to.

Speaker 5 (01:14:18):
Well, it's at the bar.

Speaker 3 (01:14:20):
If you need it loud enough for you to hear
everybody's listening to it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
It's not that low. I was just at a bar,
like restaurant bar, and the Dodger game was on. And
this guy had the Dodger game on his phone with
the sound on because you know, they don't really play
the sound net places, and he had to sound on.
I'm a Dodgers fan, and I was like, I wanted
to tell this guy, sir, go to your car and
listen to the game because it is distracting. It's not

(01:14:48):
matching with the television. Let me tell you that now.
And it's just like, what are you doing? I don't
I don't get that. So you and Lebron you're the same.

Speaker 5 (01:14:55):
And this gentleman with an older gentleman, it's an older gentleman.
We stick together.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
You're a gentleman. Good to know. Good to know that
you are carry on with headphones? Yeah? Absolutely not all right?
How about this Carrie? Are you on her off getting
an iconic moment tattooed on your body?

Speaker 5 (01:15:15):
Man? I'm so off that.

Speaker 10 (01:15:18):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
Just live in the moment. When the moment happens, it's
a moment. I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:15:22):
I know.

Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
The phone thing is a big thing. I don't even
like that, Okay, I don't. I mean you got to
be immersed in these moments organically. I missed the times
when there was no flashes going on and people were
actually watching. So getting a tattooed on my back, that's
a big no no.

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Not about that life.

Speaker 5 (01:15:38):
That's really bad.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
So you would not get a tattoo of Tyrese Halliburn
doing the choke, absolutely not. So someone a girl did
because this Kiara Baxter offered a free tattoo of Halliburn.

Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
She's a local Indiana tattoo artist, and a woman.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
Was like, I'll do it, and so she got on
her calf the tyre's Helibert.

Speaker 5 (01:16:02):
Who's going, who's gonna marry that woman?

Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
I don't, I'm not it. Maybe she's already married, or
she's already married, so I'll always put concealer on it
and fuistion. That's true. It's on her calf.

Speaker 3 (01:16:11):
So it's like, but I could not believe that.

Speaker 5 (01:16:13):
I also that's insane.

Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
So carry you off, I.

Speaker 7 (01:16:16):
Get you on that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
All right? Okay, Carrie, are you on or off bat
dogs in baseball? Like instead of a bat boy or
girl about little pooch coming out?

Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
I don't know how efficient that will be, So I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
Say off of that, Carrie, that's it, get out of here.

Speaker 5 (01:16:33):
I love I love I love it. Listen. I love
the dog. I know he's gonna go do his job,
and he's gonna do it well. But he could he
could run off and start chasing the squirrel. That can
be time consumer. We don't. We need the games to
be efficiently ran, and I don't think that would be
ideal for a long run.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
I don't like the logic you have behind this answer here,
but I'm right, No, you're not.

Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
Okay, I disagree with you.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
The Nationals, the Washington Nationals, they've lost eight in a row,
so this isn't happing, this isn't happening my cause. But
they did call up their bat doog Bruce. Okay, and
he made a deview this week, and he is a
golden retriever and he's there going and get the bat.

Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
I love retrieving. He's so cute. I get it, But
not getting the bats. And no, no, No, that's too much.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
No, it's not. No, it's not. It's the best thing.
Shut up, all right, Carrie. Are you on or off
doing Halloween things in June?

Speaker 5 (01:17:29):
Oh? You know, I'm a horror ficonado. I love all
that stuff. I love what that moment can be. But
I'm going to be off of it in June.

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
You're gonna be off of it in June.

Speaker 5 (01:17:40):
Yeah, it's too early.

Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Well, you know, Friday was Friday the thirteenth, Yes, And
so the Queen Mary did a Dark Harbor, just one mazey.
I went to it yesterday. They sold out on Friday,
so they added Saturday.

Speaker 5 (01:17:53):
That's actually cool.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
We went and it was one maze in the dark,
and they gave you this little tiny red light, so
like tiny, like a little flare of a red light
that barely I could not see anything. And this guy
scared me. And after I screamed, I said, I don't
even see you.

Speaker 5 (01:18:10):
I can just hear you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
And the guy just kept following me and saying things
in my ear and I could not.

Speaker 5 (01:18:17):
See any It was that dark.

Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
It was that dark. Not the whole entire mans because
it's in the boat, but a lot of it was
really dark, and I was like, I feel like people,
somebody had to have gotten hurt or punched. Like at
one point, I felt like somebody grabbed my hair. Not
like Angel Reese they grabbed her hair to fan the game,
not like that. But I was like, was that a person?
Was that a ghost? Was that a person?

Speaker 5 (01:18:37):
I could not see Mary?

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
It was the Queen Mary. It could have been a ghost,
and it made it, you know, Friday the thirteen.

Speaker 5 (01:18:45):
Yeah, for that reason, that's different. That's different.

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
So you would have been on you would have been
on board. I mean, I can't wait for Halloween. I
know you and I both we and you and I
both love that. I feel like more that's gonna be
happening more and more because how big Halloween has gotten that.
I do think it's to be like, oh, around the
six month mark or like Friday the Thirteen, people are
gonna start.

Speaker 5 (01:19:05):
We got to do universal sure Hoo Nights.

Speaker 2 (01:19:07):
Yeah, I did it last I did last year.

Speaker 7 (01:19:09):
One.

Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
We got to do one, Jason's this year, Jason's this year.

Speaker 3 (01:19:12):
You know, well, well, I guess that's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
Our number three here with Carrie Roads and Monty Belangos
from Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
Thank you for hanging out with us.

Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
Happy you know what I was about to say, thanks Giving,
Happy having some day. Happy Father's Day to all of
you out there celebrating into our pops, our bas Thank
you so much. We love you and will not be
here without our parents and our fathers. So Happy Father's Day, everybody. Facts.

Speaker 5 (01:19:46):
Facts.

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
We had a plan to talk about the Pacers in
Oklahoma City thunder and we will, but you know how
sports works, things happen, and a little bit of breaking
news happening in baseball. Raphael Devers dhing for the Red
Sox refusing to play third base, Well, no, you got
moved because Alexpregman is better than you refusing to play

(01:20:07):
first base and had all this drama has been traded
to the San Francisco Giants out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (01:20:18):
This is coming.

Speaker 2 (01:20:19):
And let me tell you, I have been very critical
of Raphael Devers throughout this season because of how he
has handled his situation. I understand that you are mad
that they signed a gold Glove winner at third base
who bumped you out of the spot. I get that's frustrating,

(01:20:40):
I really do. But when your team needs you to
play first base, a position that I would. You could
argue is not very difficult. I just need you to
catch a couple of balls standing here by the bag.
You know what I'm saying. You could have done that,
and you refuse to do it. You didn't want to move.
You were just DH and after the Red Sox gave

(01:21:02):
you a nice deal. I believe it was over ten years,
a nice deal that they would liked you. They wanted
you to stay there. And I don't like the way
he has handled the situation at all. But Raphael Devers
has been hitting the ball really well.

Speaker 5 (01:21:16):
I mean just hitting RBI today, which was a big
one in this game off the Monster. So yes, crazy.
I mean for me, I appreciate it. Get him out
of Boston, get him out of the Al East so
he doesn't have to face my Yankees. So I'm okay
with it. But yeah, I mean this is going to
be a big boost for the Giants. I mean this
is a team, the Giants. They're very competitive, a really

(01:21:38):
really good team, a team that I don't think have
enough scoring. So to add endeavors in this situation is
big time, right.

Speaker 2 (01:21:46):
So you're happy he's out of your situation, that's right,
And now joining my situation.

Speaker 5 (01:21:53):
See how that works.

Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
Yes, No, oh my goodness. I the NL West, Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, Diamondbacks,
they're all in there fighting. The Rockies are just playing
for funzies. They're just happy to be a part of
the division. To be honest with you, this is a
really nice move for the Giants. I don't like it
at all because they could use him. And like he

(01:22:17):
today RBI shutting out the Yankees to zero the Red Sox.
But it's not just today, like he has been performing
in clutch situations this entire time. And again I've been
critical of how he has handled the situation, and then
I unfortunately, when I'm at the anchor desk, I have
to tell you how great he is hitting because I'm
doing my job right.

Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
But he has been really good in that position.

Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
And I don't like that he's going to the Giants.
But good on the Giants and good on the Red Sox.

Speaker 5 (01:22:49):
It is, and I agree with you there there's an
etiquette that needs to take place in locker rooms. I
mean number one, Yes, I think as a talented individual,
you want to get your your numbers. You want to
do the things that you're really good at. To help
your team and maximize that, right, But when you acquire

(01:23:09):
somebody that plays your position and is a gold glover
and somebody that can actually help that team get better
and be more competitive as as a player, even though
your ego may be a little bit, you know, take
a hit there, Momentarily, you do what's best for the team. Yeah,
And so the fact that he couldn't do that in
that situation, obviously it makes sense for the Red Sox

(01:23:30):
to move on. But again, as the Giants, when you
get a player of that caliber that comes in and
can give you guys a boost offensively, I think you
take that risk and take that chance on that, right.

Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
And I think this is one of those moments right
where like you, you look at him and I've been
critical and you don't seem like a team player. But
you could also look at it on the other side
that he felt disrespected, right because you offered him ten
years worth three hundred and thirteen point five million. So
I think when you get that contract, do you think
I'm not going to be moved to the side that
it's probably how he felt.

Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
That how he felt how he feel, whether it's not
the actual truth, correct, And that that's the thing. Our
players and even outside of players, just egos, right, correct.

Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
So that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
It's easier for another team to kind of maybe scoop
him up, right, It's like, you're not detrimental, you're not toxic.

Speaker 3 (01:24:16):
Yes, this situation, you didn't handle it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:18):
Right, But I can see how a team would be
willing to take him on because of the circumstance.

Speaker 3 (01:24:24):
Like I still think he didn't handle it right.

Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
Yeah, but I don't blame a team making the move,
and I really don't blame the Red Sox for saying,
all right, peace out, bro. We did think you were
going to be with us for a long time. His
deal went into twenty thirty three, so he had a
couple of years left. And if this was gonna if
this was creating bad tension because of the situation, Red

(01:24:46):
Sox did the right move and might as well do it.

Speaker 5 (01:24:48):
Now? What are we waiting for?

Speaker 2 (01:24:49):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (01:24:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
But yeah, no, I don't like this. I don't like
this because it's the Giants. SHA's mad our producer, Shae.
Look at him, cause you look at how Maddie looks
over there.

Speaker 5 (01:24:59):
I can barely He's not happy about that. He's got
that hat real low he.

Speaker 2 (01:25:06):
La Dodgers hat. As the Dodgers and Giants are gonna
start right now, Shay, how are you feeling about this?

Speaker 10 (01:25:14):
Yeah, no, I'm not. I don't need to see this
guy more.

Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
I don't need to see this guy more.

Speaker 14 (01:25:22):
Just showing his stats on the screen for a little
bit is like on base percentage, and yeah, it just
just doesn't feel good.

Speaker 2 (01:25:29):
It doesn't.

Speaker 14 (01:25:31):
It sounds great for me, guys, I mean, especially after
yesterday when we literally destroyed that, the Dodgers destroyed the Giants,
and then now I'm just like, oh wow, wow, series
means nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:25:45):
And it's just in a year when the Giants are
playing good ball. We have not seen them play good baseball,
and so there you can't blame them for making the
right move and trying to get the edge here.

Speaker 5 (01:25:56):
But man, it's gonna get interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
It's gonna get interesting, perfect segue, It's gonna get interesting.
In Game five of the NBA Finals with Thunder and Pacers,
what were your thoughts on Game four?

Speaker 5 (01:26:11):
Game four, I was entrenched, I was watching I at
no point did I think anybody had control it again,
even though the Pacers were winning, I still felt like
there was a run coming from OKC, which did ultimately happen.
But this this is one of those games when you
don't win the championship you look back on and say,

(01:26:34):
if we won this game and just closed out this
fourth quarter, we're NBA champions and this thing is different.
So that's what I feel That's what I felt was
lost in that situation. The Pacers go up three to
one and they're winning this series, which is crazy to
think about. Now it's two to two and it feels
like all hope is lost, which is weird, like there's

(01:26:55):
no well everybody, it's back to too and okay, he
just got the home court advantage back again. I don't
feel that. I feel like it's over. You feel like
That's what I feel like. I feel like that gang
was that important. It was.

Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
And it's funny because I think going into Game four,
if the Pacers would have won, right, then you go
back to Game one, how okay C let that one
go and you think about that quarter where it's like
it all mattered in that fourth quarter, and then it
comes down to this game. And yeah, I jokingly said
to Mark Medina, our NBA insider, if you didn't listen,
make sure you listen to our podcast after the show.

(01:27:30):
It's going to be going up. If you missed any
of today's show, don't you worry. Check out the podcast.
Just search Fox Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts.
Be sure to follow and review the podcast. Why not
rate it five stars? Again, it's just Fox Sports Radio
wherever you get your podcasts. You'll see today's show posted
right after the air. But I jokingly said to Mark
Medina that like Pacers didn't know what to do in
the fourth quarter because they were up, and this entire

(01:27:52):
pretty much postseason, they have had to climb back and
in the fourth quarter, get gritty and win. Whether it's
the final shot, the final couple of seconds, it doesn't matter.
It almost felt like they didn't know what to do
with themselves and the nerves got to them, which I didn't.
I haven't seen nerves a lot out of the Pacers.
I felt nerves in those final minutes in the fourth quarter.

(01:28:14):
And then at the same time, okase up their ante
when it came to their defense, which is already great
as it is, and you could argue lu d'Or a
hard foul here there you know Alex Caruso a horror
foul here, whatever, whatever, but shake gil Just Alexander was
phenomenal in that fourth quarter. He had eleven points in

(01:28:37):
the final three minutes, the most by any player in
the final three minutes of a finals win in the
last fifty years. Oh wow, yes, he And it's because
we haven't seen that, like a performance like that in
the fourth quarter from Shay gil Just Alexander, the MVP,
we hadn't seen it. So seeing it, you were like, man,
this guy is has actually taken over.

Speaker 5 (01:28:57):
Yeah, and it wasn't like that all throughout this series.
He's had some big moments. Yes, yes, but it also
looked like in Game three they were wearing him down, right,
so they were they were able to throw so many
defenders at Shay that it seemed like he was wearing
down even in the in Game four there were moments
where he looked pedestrian mmmmm. But not in that fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
No, he was.

Speaker 5 (01:29:17):
He was a superstar.

Speaker 1 (01:29:18):
No.

Speaker 2 (01:29:18):
And the takeover because you said he's had big moments
and he's had great games and like, but I would
this is the first time I said, Oh he took over.
He said, give me the ball. And I'm going to
handle it. Yes, we're gonna win this. I got it,
don't worry you guys backed me up and I we
hadn't seen that, and it was nice to see Shake
Gildos Alexander deliver in that moment. I'm not, Oh, what

(01:29:42):
you got?

Speaker 5 (01:29:43):
You have something? I said.

Speaker 2 (01:29:44):
No, I don't like that. You said that now you
think it's over. I don't like that.

Speaker 5 (01:29:48):
I know because I I wanted to go seven. Now
I don't know if it even goes seven now, And
that's crazy, I know. Like that's how quick momentum changes
though in series, when you let opportunities they slip away
when you're not the favorite coming in. The consensus favorite
in this series is obviously Okay. See, so the Pacers

(01:30:08):
were kind of swinging outside of their weight class and
outperforming them in key moments, and we're up to one,
they go up three to one, it's over two to
two now. It brings Okayc's confidence back up to the
level that I'm sure when they started this series they
had it. And that's where I feel like, I think

(01:30:29):
we've seen all the answers that Indiana Pacers can throw
out there, and that's where I feel like that's what
I feel now.

Speaker 2 (01:30:37):
But I think that that we've seen that throat. Their
answers I think have been in front of us the
whole postseason. I don't think they're hiding anything.

Speaker 14 (01:30:43):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Why the shift though, because after the series was tied
one to one, what's the story? Whoever wins Game three?
The percentage of them winning the series always that's the
first conversation, right, and they win Game three, So now
we're going to Game five and you have lost hope.

Speaker 5 (01:31:01):
It's just the eye test. So again, it's not me
making some Bowl claim or it's not me having the
Bowl take. It's not any of that, right, It's when
you miss on opportunities being in the sports world, like
those moments are so finite, Monty, They're like, if you
can grab it, you're usually going to be the champion

(01:31:22):
in those moments, right, And the Pacers had that chance.
And again this isn't saying that the Pacers aren't going
to be super competitive in the game can go either
way and any of these other games coming up, but
just my opinion, my feel after watching that, the Pacers
were so deflated and they had right to be. They
should have won that game. In theory, right, So now

(01:31:43):
it's can they flip the switch and get back and
going to okac where it's going to be crazy, rowdy,
The crowd's going to be in there, the energy is
going to be off the chain. It's going to be
hard to do. You know, they when they fall down
three to two, because I I would put I put
a lot on that game five. Okay if I was

(01:32:03):
a betting man. I'm not that way, but I would.
We know, okay, okay, So again went on the road.
We just saw that, and it's gonna be tough.

Speaker 2 (01:32:11):
But we've seen the Pacers win on the road, sure,
and we've seen them win Oklahoma City.

Speaker 5 (01:32:16):
You're gonna win Game five the Pacers.

Speaker 14 (01:32:20):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
I just don't feel as I don't feel the way
you do.

Speaker 15 (01:32:25):
I I do feel like the Pacers have been proving
me wrong the entire postseason, right, and been proving every
There's been multiple games where they where you think they're.

Speaker 2 (01:32:38):
Done and you're like, there's no way you're gonna get
out of this, and they get out of it, and
I think, really like, as I watch more of this,
it's it's more of how I think Rick Carlisle here
is like he is the dude, and if he's the
one that's gonna figure out the twitch the to get
them to not because they have to win this game.

(01:32:59):
They have to win this game or at least, you
know what, Let's say they don't win, but it has
to be competitive where you walk away feeling like it
was you had it, so that when you go back
home to Indiana, you're gonna bring it, you know, like
you they can't let okay c bully them in this
game and then we'll get a Game seven. But you're right,

(01:33:20):
for whatever reason, OKAC comes out and does what we
haven't seen in this series, a blowout.

Speaker 5 (01:33:26):
They're gonna win by double digits in game five.

Speaker 2 (01:33:28):
That's not a blowout that that double digits means.

Speaker 5 (01:33:31):
Yeah, it depends on what the double digits looks like
at the end.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
Yes, you're right, because I guess what I'm talking about
is like, you know what, then when you read a
final score and it's like, okay, well that doesn't mean anything,
of course, but you're right. It's the eye test, right,
it can be a blowout and the final score you
won't buy eleven and it can be a blowout So
I get what you're saying. You think it's going to
be an easy win for.

Speaker 5 (01:33:50):
The Thunder, the easiest one they've had, the easiest.

Speaker 3 (01:33:52):
One they've had.

Speaker 2 (01:33:53):
Yes, I don't think that. I don't think.

Speaker 5 (01:33:56):
I'm not a betting man size.

Speaker 2 (01:34:01):
What he's telling me. I just I'm surprised. I'm just
surprised that that's your position.

Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
You know, because I'm I'm a fan of the Pacers.

Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
Yeah, I'm just surprised.

Speaker 5 (01:34:09):
Yeah, No, no, watching it. I just when the things
that are happening in front of our eyes is we
talked about with Mark, Jayleen Williams is playing like Jayleen
Williams now, like the guy who's an All Star.

Speaker 2 (01:34:21):
He has also not been disconsistent.

Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
He hasn't, No, but I'm saying in this finals, yes
he has. He's been aggressive. He's been the guy that
even when those moments of Shaye being off the court,
like even the substitution patterns for the OKC Thunder have change,
Shay has gone out a little earlier now because he
does he has been a little fatigued in some of
these games. They haven't had a drop off. Jayalen Williamstood

(01:34:45):
has been aggressive, taking the ball to the right, drawing files,
getting to the free throw line, shooting the ball well.
Chet Chet has had his moments as well, and so
I mean even Alix Carusso. Carusso had twenty some points
last game. So you have guys who have that championship
DNA playing as well, with Caruso getting more minutes. I'm
just I don't know if the Pacers have another answer

(01:35:06):
with I mean, and the and the Pacers have been
playing great.

Speaker 2 (01:35:09):
They have been playing great.

Speaker 5 (01:35:10):
Obie Toppins playing well. Matthmin was playing well until last games.

Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
But like you know, like he missed all those that
was that was rough, it was.

Speaker 5 (01:35:18):
It's it's for me. Yeah, I just feel I feel
it's over.

Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
So maybe I'm holding onto game three. I feel like
game three is where Okac shot the ball really well
from the three they had Chad Holgren, Jalen Williams, Shake
guil Just, Alexander all And with over twenty points. Yeah,
and the Pacers still won. So I just am like

(01:35:44):
I I said, shake guill Just, I think does have
to go off and everybody else they can, they can
do their job. But the Pacers have still beat you
in that situation, and so maybe I'm holding onto game three.
That as to why I don't, I'm not. I don't
think it's over and all I need. I don't even care.

(01:36:05):
I picked this.

Speaker 3 (01:36:06):
I picked the Pacers in six, and I don't care.

Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
But in the sense it's like, all I'm saying is,
if the Pacers manage to keep this competitive and close
and still lose, they go back home, they win game six,
game seven, then it's game seven. Anything is possible, and
anything is possible. Anything is possible.

Speaker 5 (01:36:24):
Kg, Okay, anything is possible.

Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
Yeah, maybe I'm just holding on to games. That's maybe
what I'm holding on.

Speaker 5 (01:36:32):
You're holding on to your pick too. Of course, you
picked the Pacers in six.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
I picked I don't think in six is gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (01:36:39):
It's gonna happen.

Speaker 8 (01:36:40):
Why for you?

Speaker 2 (01:36:41):
Is what you're saying. That's what you're saying.

Speaker 5 (01:36:44):
Six in general?

Speaker 2 (01:36:46):
No, yeah, I feel like a game seven is is
very very possible here.

Speaker 5 (01:36:50):
No, for sure, of course it's definitely possible.

Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
No, no, you you you're you're gone.

Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
You're in Cancun one.

Speaker 5 (01:36:56):
It's over, but it's possible, But it's possible. I'm I'm
not in ostrodamus, but I sure act it's over the
way I feel. Yeah, I feel it's over.

Speaker 2 (01:37:08):
It's not over. It is not over. Game five Tomorrow, Monday,
eight thirty Eastern.

Speaker 5 (01:37:14):
I can't wait to text you can't wait.

Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
I'm gonna go across the street and just throw something
at your window.

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Yeah, I think I know your window.

Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
Don't.

Speaker 2 (01:37:24):
I think I know your window.

Speaker 9 (01:37:26):
I know, I think I is.

Speaker 5 (01:37:27):
Someone may have.

Speaker 2 (01:37:28):
Pointed out to me Venmo. Guys, it's not for everyone,
and we're gonna talk about that next. Don't go anywhere
he's carry I'm MONCEI and this is Fox Sports Radio. No.
I just like the song, which is why I haven't
said it.

Speaker 5 (01:37:40):
I'm I'm just waiting to get to the home.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
Me too, me too. I'm literally waiting for that. I
say no, but they keep giving it. Okay, Hi, everybody,
Happy Sunday, Happy Father's Day. Thank you for hanging out
with Carrie Rhodes and I on this day. I hope
you're enjoying yourselves. Mary on the Ones and Tuesday, keeping.

Speaker 5 (01:38:00):
Us, keeping us hip, keep it, Yeah, it's hip, it's hip.
Oh yeah, I missed some of these songs. Man, they
were good back in the day. This was good.

Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
This was a good one.

Speaker 5 (01:38:12):
Who is this?

Speaker 2 (01:38:14):
Is it black eyed peace?

Speaker 5 (01:38:16):
It's not just.

Speaker 3 (01:38:19):
Wow, yes, there it is there.

Speaker 2 (01:38:21):
It is no thank you for bringing this back into
my life, because let me tell you what I'm about
to add to my playlist.

Speaker 3 (01:38:26):
This uh little glamorous maybe coming on? Oh there we go,
there we go.

Speaker 2 (01:38:33):
In case you missed the story that we already talked
about in the world of baseball, Raphael Devers no longer
Red Sox. He is now going to be a Giant,
and John Hayman tweets that the Giants are going to
pay the rest of his contract.

Speaker 5 (01:38:48):
Yeah, yeah, I was one.

Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
Yeah, obviously if you took him on, you were expecting
to do that.

Speaker 5 (01:38:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:38:53):
Uh so Red Sox get rid of a guy who was,
you know, not wanting to be a team player. You
can say he had his right to not be a
team player or not, and now he gets he gets
to go play in the division where the Dodgers are.
So I'm not happy about this, but yes, good move
objectively good move by the Giants and by the Red Sox.

(01:39:13):
Yes both I agree, like both of them. Hit yankes
as well. We have the US Open Carry going on
right now. A huge rain delay happened earlier today and
then they went back in action. So it's kind of late,
but like it has been rough at this tournament because

(01:39:34):
of the weather. Today, JJ spawn hit a ball and
it hit the do we call it a stick? Shay?
Like where the hole is the flag?

Speaker 5 (01:39:45):
What do I call that flag? The flag?

Speaker 2 (01:39:47):
The flag?

Speaker 5 (01:39:47):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:39:48):
JJ Spawn today hits a ball and it hits the
flag stick and it just rolls all the way back
in his face. It keeps rolling and rolling and rolling
away from the hole.

Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
There's a video if you guys haven't seen poor JJ
Spawn's face.

Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
He just is staring at the bunk and didn't you
went to roll away from the hole after hitting the flag.

Speaker 5 (01:40:10):
The flag get a home run?

Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
Yest literally literally unfair And right now Carrie the lead.
There's a tie between four people. They are all over one.

Speaker 5 (01:40:23):
I'll see that. Yeah, what do you This is terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:40:26):
Weather, this is terrible conditions. I would be so annoyed
if I was playing right now. I'm sure Scotty Scheffler
was probably annoyed. He's done for the day and he
ended four over. Listen, there is a chance, Scottie, there
is a chance. But we learned something about Scotty this week.
This is Scotty Scheffler.

Speaker 12 (01:40:45):
Here's from fans, whether they have a financial benefit or
anything in their outcome. That's why I had to get
rid of my Venmo because I was either getting paid
by people or people requested me a bunch of money
when I didn't win.

Speaker 10 (01:40:56):
Wasn't a good feeling.

Speaker 5 (01:40:58):
I'm just I'm just glad I wasn't When that was
a real thing, I would have got so many, so
many requests.

Speaker 2 (01:41:04):
I know, I guess like I don't think of it
like that.

Speaker 3 (01:41:06):
I do use Venmo every now and then, like friends
will send me money.

Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
I also like, don't have notifications, so people send me
money and then I don't realize I have money. I'm like, oh,
I have money in my Venmo accounts. So also, if
you are requesting money from me, your girl doesn't have notifications.
That request just sits there.

Speaker 5 (01:41:23):
Oh really, I don't have notifications.

Speaker 3 (01:41:25):
I don't know if I did that on purpose back
then when I first set it up.

Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
So I don't know unless I go to my email
and then I get an email about it that it
was like somebody on Venmo is requesting money, but I
don't get the immediate immediate notifications, so I like something like, oh,
I forgot to pay this, so I forgot to do that.
My bad, My bad. So poor Scotti Scheffler had to
get had to delete his Venmo because people were requesting money.

Speaker 5 (01:41:50):
Yeah, that's insane.

Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
When he wasn't performing well.

Speaker 5 (01:41:53):
Hey man, so guess what you did not play well?
So I had a little side bet going on that
you're going to be you know, three under today and
you were four over. Let me get that check.

Speaker 3 (01:42:04):
Let me get that check if you owe me eleven dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:42:06):
That's crazy, the balls that people have the audacity. What
are you talking about? You requested money from Scotti Scheffler.
I don't even want to request money from my friends
when they owe me money.

Speaker 5 (01:42:18):
Exactly, you know what I'm saying, Even when it's like.

Speaker 2 (01:42:20):
Ten bucks, it's like, hey, hey girl, you owe me
to bugs about your drinks?

Speaker 5 (01:42:24):
That.

Speaker 2 (01:42:26):
Yeah, I don't even do that with my friends. I
won't know, I get you know what I'm saying. If anything,
I give my friends money when I don't owe them
money just because I feel like I do. I don't know,
I think I owe you money. This happens with Natalie
and me all the time, I'm let me pay. She's
like why. It's like, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:42:39):
I think I owe you money?

Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Do I not owe you money? Let me pay? Guys
like I don't know. I can't imagine that Carrie to
be in that position, to be a household name like
that where people just find you.

Speaker 5 (01:42:50):
Let me see if I can find Oh, he just
deleted it.

Speaker 2 (01:42:52):
He deleted it.

Speaker 3 (01:42:53):
Well, we're gonna send them money.

Speaker 5 (01:42:54):
No, we're trying to see if I could. Let me
see if halle Berry's on.

Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
See if tires Aliburton.

Speaker 5 (01:43:00):
Send a text to like, hey, biggest fan, Hey.

Speaker 2 (01:43:03):
Here's twenty dollars, thank you for hitting those game winners.

Speaker 5 (01:43:07):
Yeah, let me see if let me see if let
me see if five.

Speaker 2 (01:43:10):
Bucks for the choke sign.

Speaker 5 (01:43:12):
Let me see Caliburton, how do you find? Oh, here
you go, there you go. Let's say Tyres.

Speaker 2 (01:43:16):
Tyres Hallie Burton.

Speaker 5 (01:43:19):
Yeah, go go.

Speaker 2 (01:43:20):
And if not, we'll all send them, like five bucks.

Speaker 5 (01:43:22):
Yeah, we'll give them a dollar.

Speaker 2 (01:43:23):
We'll give a dollar.

Speaker 3 (01:43:23):
Thank you for the chokes on, I thank you for
the game winners, thank you for the fun time.

Speaker 5 (01:43:27):
That's the problem. Scotti Scheffler's full name shouldn't be on
there anyway. Now, now I'm upset. Why is his full
name on there anyway? Like Tyree's Halliburton isn't on there,
and you shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:43:37):
He just doesn't have one. But what if you this
is connected to your bank, So you can't have a
fake name? Can you have a fake name?

Speaker 10 (01:43:44):
You can have a like like you're you can make
your name whatever you want.

Speaker 5 (01:43:47):
You can make the name whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
Okay, but you know, because.

Speaker 10 (01:43:51):
You're gonna have whatever name you want is your username.

Speaker 5 (01:43:53):
Oh, I say, he shouldn't have his name on.

Speaker 2 (01:43:56):

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
But if I if I had, if I could, I
would look at the people who are asking for money
and I would go find them. It's like I would
I would hire like a private investigator, and I would
be like, find these people and throw an egg at
their car.

Speaker 5 (01:44:16):
Do something?

Speaker 2 (01:44:17):
Throw an egg at their car because it's sinky. Put it,
just put it by their car. Fine, let's not deteriorate
the paint.

Speaker 5 (01:44:24):
Chob What about a banana in the tailpipe?

Speaker 2 (01:44:26):
Banana in the tail pipe teepe their house something something
like that. That's what I would do for everybody asking
me for money if I was a Scottie shuffler type.
These are so lame, you guys. Okay, I'm not trying
to get we're trying to get arrested here.

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
We're just trying to do a little some song. But
we can't get arrested.

Speaker 16 (01:44:43):
The key is you gotta put like sparkles in their
car and then it'll be hard to for them to
vacuum out.

Speaker 5 (01:44:50):
That's just that's main.

Speaker 2 (01:44:51):
Put glitter in there.

Speaker 3 (01:44:52):
I like the glitter.

Speaker 8 (01:44:53):
Oh, I like the glitter.

Speaker 2 (01:44:56):
Glitter.

Speaker 3 (01:44:56):
You're not taking you're not removing glitter.

Speaker 2 (01:44:58):
Okay, I like the glitter, and I can't get a
glitter You're right, Okay, glitter, that's the one we're gonna
go do it.

Speaker 16 (01:45:03):
Put some Johnny Ranchers, lick a little bit, stick it
on there. Yeah, don't ask me.

Speaker 5 (01:45:10):
How psychological warfare going on right now?

Speaker 2 (01:45:13):
Yeah, she's got some good ideas. Men running around La
right now with the broken wish, a lot of glitter
and a lot of glitter.

Speaker 5 (01:45:21):
Waiting to exhil.

Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
Now you're gonna pull off a jolly Rancher tell me
if that works, We're gonna talk about this off. Let's
check on what's going on in the world the sports
here with Chris Perfet at the I just got a
request on Venmo.

Speaker 5 (01:45:34):
Did you know you did not? Did you really?

Speaker 2 (01:45:36):
Somebody sent me money?

Speaker 3 (01:45:37):
Hold on a second, that's funny, we'll send me money.

Speaker 5 (01:45:41):
It wasn't me.

Speaker 4 (01:45:44):
Money, Chris, which people would send me money? Geez, I'm
still I still getting owed money here like weeks later. Anyway,
we have more details on the Wow. We have more
details on the Blockbuster Raphael Devers deal here. Full details
up this spot track. Giants are acquiring Raphael Devers and

(01:46:05):
the Red Sox are acquiring starting pitcher Kyle Harrison, Jordan Hicks,
James Tibbs, and Jose Bellow.

Speaker 5 (01:46:14):
So that is the full measure of the deal there.

Speaker 4 (01:46:17):
Blockbuster that sends third basement Raphael Devers to the San
Francisco Giants amid a positional dispute with the Red Sox. Meanwhile,
the US Open is ongoing and Sam Burns might be
melting down a little here. It is still a four
way tie atop the leaderboard one over Burns, however, was

(01:46:37):
denied water relief when it was kind of pooled around
his ball quite a bit and has had a rough hole,
still waiting to finish up, but he's probably headed for
bogie here right now. One over for Burns, JJ Spawn,
Terrell Hatton and Robert mackins Hire atop the leaderboard, Victor
Hovlin three over and Adam Scott two over, all of

(01:46:58):
them trying to get close to maybe have a chance.
Right now, Team USA Men's Soccer is on the beach
Conky Calf Gold Cup. The first matchup Group d USA
has a three zero lead over Trinidad and Tobago and
the only baseball game going on right now, Dodgers and Giants.
Top of the second inning. Dodgers with a one nothing lead,

(01:47:20):
Monsey and carry back to you. That's right, that's right,
that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:47:24):
We almost said that at the same time you knew
it was coming.

Speaker 5 (01:47:26):
Do it in stereo it.

Speaker 2 (01:47:29):
Oh, one zero, Dodgers up on the Giants. I love that.

Speaker 5 (01:47:32):
I love that, although the Giants have just loaded the bases.

Speaker 2 (01:47:34):
Well the Chris, I don't love that.

Speaker 5 (01:47:36):
No, you don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:47:36):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:47:37):
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:47:37):
I see that, yes, justin me, just to me, I
know that's your boy, you talk, you know, he has
he has good outings, and then he has outings where
you're just like yeah. But I feel like that's more
and more common lately with pictures. Right, he'll get through
He'll get through it, he'll and he and he does
get through it. Aaron Johnson sent me ten bucks on venus.

(01:48:02):
I'm jealous and said, get something yummy. Aaron Johnson, thank you.
I don't know if this was a mistake, but I'm
gonna get pizza with these gen dollars, so I appreciate you. Chris,
don't go too far because on the other side of this,
I'm gonna test the cruise knowledge here on sports and
music and music. So let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:48:25):
Don't go anywhere. It's Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:48:28):
What's up? Everybody? Happy Sunday again? If you were hanging
out with us for the last three hours, we appreciate
it so much. We hope you're enjoying this Father's Day.
I'm Manzi, he's Carrie and he's dancing sort of kind
of doing some moves. I'm not entirely sure what the
move is, but he's doing a move with his fingers up. Yeah,

(01:48:48):
there you go. There called it's called a gunman. A
gunman got it very very very very very popular in Caribbean,
just Jamaican.

Speaker 3 (01:48:58):
Yeah, you didn't know he was doing he did. He
just started doing cardinal officials like you know, yeah he
didn't know that. We'll see what he does know and
easy as one, two, three, four.

Speaker 2 (01:49:14):
All right, if you've never listened to this part of
the show, a little trivia for the crew. Carrie has lifelines.
We just kind of have an open mic situation here,
but yes, you have lifelines, Mary, Shay and Chris and
uh yeah, we've got a I've got a mix of
things here, guys, from sports to music. All right, let's start,

(01:49:39):
let's get it going. Let's see how much the team
knows and and all these questions that I proposed to
the team, they just have to know a piece of
the answer, not the entire answer. So let's get going here.
Name one of two players that have scored the most
goals in this NHL postseason.

Speaker 5 (01:49:59):
Say say, but let me take a stab in my mind,
think about it before it goes. I'm gonna probably have
to say Connor McDavid, But I'm gonna I'm gonna acquiesce
to Shay, but I'm gonna say Connor.

Speaker 9 (01:50:13):
McDavid one of two players, one of two, one of
two players this postseason.

Speaker 2 (01:50:20):
This post season in the NHL.

Speaker 10 (01:50:22):
The NHL, Chris, you can tie, man.

Speaker 5 (01:50:26):
I feel like we've heard Leon Dry titles name.

Speaker 10 (01:50:30):
I could definitely be one.

Speaker 5 (01:50:32):
I like, all right, we'll go We'll go with Dry title.
Then I don't even know what that is, but.

Speaker 3 (01:50:38):
We'll go with that one Leon Dry title.

Speaker 2 (01:50:41):
Uh show me Leon Dry title? That is correct, Leon
Dry job. Chris, very well, Yes, And I didn't give
you an over underd because I wasn't sure how hard
this is. I'm going to go six and a half.
I want you to get seven out of these, okay, Okay,
I want you guys to get seven. And you're on
the first one. Yes. Leon has eleven goals so far

(01:51:02):
in this NHL postseason. He has been big. Sam Bennett
is actually at the top. He's got fifteen. Brad Marshan
and Corey Perry have ten.

Speaker 5 (01:51:11):
McDavis nowhere is not there, but I get you know.

Speaker 3 (01:51:14):
But I'm glad you guys got it. Leon drisidle. But
it is correct, okay, guys, and Gal's moving on here.

Speaker 2 (01:51:19):
Name two of the three w NBA players that have
had that have hit the most threes so far this season.
The most threes so far this season two of three.

Speaker 5 (01:51:30):
I will probably go with Sabrina. Sabrina, you and Escu
in that school is one? You said, how many?

Speaker 2 (01:51:38):
Two of the three.

Speaker 5 (01:51:45):
It's Kelsey Plumb up there as well. But I don't,
I don't know, I know Sabrina. Anybody else got something
for me? No idea? Can I ask you?

Speaker 8 (01:51:56):
Mother?

Speaker 2 (01:51:57):
I mean, go with your gut.

Speaker 5 (01:51:59):
No, I got Sabrina, and I'll go with Kelsey Plumb
as well.

Speaker 2 (01:52:01):
Then I really show me Kelsey Plumb. Yeah, that's right.
She's at the top with thirty four made threes. Nice
show me Sabrina Unescu, Oh yeah, there you go nicely.
She's got twenty eight.

Speaker 3 (01:52:17):
Ryan Howard is in between them.

Speaker 2 (01:52:19):
Yeah, she's got thirty two. Yeah. So and Kaylyn Clark
yesterday hit five obvious, but she's been hurt. But because
she hit five, it came up of like who's hitting threes,
and that's where I came up with this, uh so. Yeah,
and Marina Maybrey the other way she plays with Yeah,
she also is up there right with Sabrina and them.
So those are the top four. Nicely done? Nicely done? Okay,

(01:52:43):
name three of the four players who have hit the
longest home runs this season, the longest home runs this season.

Speaker 5 (01:52:55):
No, Judge is up there because he hit won this
week that was and Kansas City that was hasn't come
down yet.

Speaker 2 (01:53:02):
So is Judge one of your answers.

Speaker 5 (01:53:04):
Okay, you say how many?

Speaker 2 (01:53:07):
Give me three of the four?

Speaker 9 (01:53:11):
Come on, guys, the longest. That's that's hard, because the
longest home runs this year this year? Okay, who's shelling
them the longest?

Speaker 5 (01:53:24):
Uh? Has so Hey hit a bomb like that? I'm sure?

Speaker 10 (01:53:28):
Yes, he hit like four fifteen, look for twenty. This
is a hard one.

Speaker 5 (01:53:36):
It's hard. Yeah, I actually think, I actually think. I
think Bellinger may have one that's really far.

Speaker 14 (01:53:42):
Because there's that random guy that could be hitting like
a four to thirty bomb for fifty.

Speaker 5 (01:53:47):
For sure, I'm gonna go judge them. Who else?

Speaker 2 (01:53:55):
You, guys, there's an obvious one here in the list
that you just don't think.

Speaker 5 (01:54:00):
It's as obvious as you think.

Speaker 3 (01:54:02):
You're not even one.

Speaker 2 (01:54:04):
It's only obvious because you got the whole answer. Once
you get it, you're all gonna be like, ah, you
don't care, So we've got job.

Speaker 10 (01:54:16):
Okay, well on, so.

Speaker 2 (01:54:19):
I don't think I face is so crazy, it's so
crazy it's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (01:54:26):
It's gotta be a dodger. So who who would have
picked the furtherest?

Speaker 14 (01:54:29):
It's not it's between if it's a Dodger, it's between
Freeman and show Hey and I guess Mony Mony, Oh
my god, it's.

Speaker 5 (01:54:40):
Not a Dodger. It's got to be something else. Problem
is it's like it is here be dragons.

Speaker 2 (01:54:46):
So we've got one name. I need name.

Speaker 5 (01:54:49):
We got Judge throw out.

Speaker 10 (01:54:51):
Let's see man if you can say, yeah, Peter Alonzo.

Speaker 5 (01:54:56):
I want to go Alonzo one. I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:55:00):
Possibly we're definitely running out of time, so uh go
it just go just Judge, Judge Otani.

Speaker 5 (01:55:08):
And one more Alonso.

Speaker 3 (01:55:10):
Yeah all right, great, show me Judge.

Speaker 2 (01:55:14):
He is in at number four, four hundred and sixty
nine feet against the twins.

Speaker 5 (01:55:18):
Sixty yes? Is it?

Speaker 3 (01:55:20):
O Tani? Shotani is not a lot but not not
the furthest?

Speaker 2 (01:55:25):
And is it Pete Alonzo? No, it's not. Mike Trout
is the furthest home run of this year?

Speaker 8 (01:55:32):
Really?

Speaker 2 (01:55:32):
Eight hundred, eight hundred, four hundred and eighty four feet
supposed to be because it's Mike.

Speaker 5 (01:55:38):
Trout and maybe he hasn't done anything in a while.

Speaker 3 (01:55:41):
I just okay, Byron Buxton, just did it for the Twins,
just did.

Speaker 2 (01:55:47):
It this week. It was a story. He actually was
the reason this came up. Four hundred and seventy nine
feet and logan o'happy for the Angels. Four hundred and
seventy Trout. You guys could have got Mike Truck. Could
Mike Trout come on? Maybe not Chrits clearly, but you
guys should have got all right quickly. Here name four
of the five top stream songs on Spotify last.

Speaker 5 (01:56:08):
Year last year tomorrow, okay, the country song, what's the
what's the black Yes? No, no, the black artist, the
guy that's so vague. I had some help post malone.

(01:56:32):
That's one last year.

Speaker 2 (01:56:35):
There's gotta be a Kentrick song in there that they're
not like us.

Speaker 5 (01:56:39):
So that's two too.

Speaker 16 (01:56:41):
It's probably probably Birds of a Feather Billy Billy Eilish
did do.

Speaker 5 (01:56:45):
Really big right down. But I want the guy, the
black guy, the country artist. I know that's talk about that.
Someone was asking for this on Fox for is is
it Tipsy. Is that the song? Yeah, that's four?

Speaker 2 (01:57:02):
Okay, all right, So show me I had some help
with post malone and work and Wallan that came in
at number four, by the way, show me h you said,
Kendrick Lamar, Yes, not like us, that came in at
number two.

Speaker 5 (01:57:16):
That is correct, number two.

Speaker 2 (01:57:17):
Show me Shaboozi with Tipsy coming in at number three,
and is it Billie Eilish It is not number one
on Spotify? Number one Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 5 (01:57:33):
Yes you do, Yes, you did, even sings songs. Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:57:42):
And then coming in at number five was a Million
Dollar Baby by Tommy Richmond. Yes, those were on Spotify.
Those were the top five you did. And I think
that put you right at seven, two, three, four, five, six,
passing grade six almost what because wait, you missed it

(01:58:06):
would have been out of ten and you missed three,
you missed three? Ye got it?

Speaker 8 (01:58:12):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:58:12):
Somethry are about this?

Speaker 8 (01:58:12):

Speaker 2 (01:58:13):

Speaker 3 (01:58:14):
