(00:55):
Good to be with you, Bud. Everything good in your world.
It's not good in the Denver Nuggets world, but I
want to make sure everything's good in your world.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
First, Yeah, everything's pretty goods Since we last spoke, my
hockey team's gone. They lost in the first round of
the playoffs for a third straight year to the same
damn team. But other than that, everything's pretty.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Good other than that little detail right there.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yeah, you know how it is. I mean, sports is
a big part of our lives and so sure it's
a bummer, but all in all, as far as life goes, Yeah,
everything's good.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
You hear the phrase spread the wealth. You know, we're
looking for the opposite of it. If you're gonna lose
three straight years, you'd rather be spread out among multiple teams,
I think, instead of the same team.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah right, I.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Don't know what the new phrase would be, like spread
the misery. I guess something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I guess I'm I didn't look it up. I am curious, though,
What is the most consecutive years a team has lost
to another team in the playoffs?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Man, I I don't know that it could be more
than like four.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I haven't looked
it up. I may try and look that up. I
kind of didn't want to, but because I mean, there's
a chance they could meet again next year. The NHL
playoff format's a little interesting where you have you can
have the same like if you finish two to three
in your division, doesn't matter what your record is in

(02:20):
the conference, you will meet that team in the playoffs,
so it actually could. You know, it's more likely to
happen in hockey with this current format than in other sports.
But still I would be curious about that a little bit.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Yeah, man, you got my mind racing, because I'm curious
which sport it would be and what the longest losing
streak to one particular team is. You know, because you
throw baseball, you throw football in the mix. I think
it's way worse to say, like the Buffalo Bills, they
obviously lost four straight Super Bowls and they lost two

(02:53):
straight to the Dallas Cowboys at the end of those
four years. I think losing two straight Super Bowls to
the same team is way worse than losing three straight
in the first round.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
You know that's kagree with that?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah sure, yeah, yeah, bad bad. How about the Minnesota Timberwolves, Eddie.
They smack around the Denver Nuggets by twenty six points.
We've got Nicola Jokic Jamal Murray, the defending champions of
the NBA. They're down oh two in this series. As
Anthony Edwards continues to dazzle, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have

(03:32):
a two to zero stranglehold lead on this series. It
was so bad, Eddie that in Denver, t Wolves fans
were channing Wolves in four Wolves in four. Check this out. God,
that's Kevin Harlan being a pro and just letting it

(03:53):
breathe while he is doing the game on TNT. Yeah,
Wo Wolves in four. Those chants broke out in Denver tonight, Eddie.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
That is I did not know that. That is crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I mean, and it's one thing for like Knicks fans
to go to Philadelphia or something, but what the heck?

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, man, the t Wolves fans were rolling deep I guess.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
The Denver fans trolling their own team.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
The Jokic brothers got in trouble last series, right, I
don't know if the Jokic brothers are back as the
enforcers as Wolves in four chance breakout in Denver. We
need to find that out. We got a lot of
research to do here. What's the longest playoff losing streak
by one team to the other team?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Right?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Does that makes that probably worded? Well?

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I got I got another one for you. I don't
know if we're throwing too much at each other at
this point. I got another one though, for you? Uh huh?
Of all the cities that have the four major sports?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Uh huh?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Which one has gone the longest without winning a championship?
I gotta think Minnesota has got to be at the
top there.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Wow, like current streak or forever?

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Yeah, Like, what's the longest day city that has the
four major sports? What's the longest day have gone without
winning a championship? And I think it's I think it's
got to be Minnesota. I don't haven't done the research
on that.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
But it could be the only thing I can think of.
And look, this is the first thing off the top
of my head. I'm not saying it's the longest streak,
but I remember when the Calves finally won a championship.
I want to say it was a fifty two year
drought with all the major teams in Cleveland.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
That would that would make sense because the Browns obviously
have never won a Super Bowl and the Indians haven't
won since God that was I think it was before
the Red Sox, right, I think their their last World
Series came before the Red Sox broke their curse.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I think I can't remember because when it was, you know,
Cleveland against the Cubs in that epic World Series, right,
we all knew about the Cubs. Yeah, I had one
since nineteen oh eight. But yeah, Cleveland streak was a
long long time. I don't know how long it was.
I don't know if it dates back before the Red Sox, though.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Our producer Justin Cooper says, in fact, it is Minneapolis
that twin cities that have had have the current longest
streak of the of the cities that have four major
sports of not winning a time.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Okay, you gotta have four, gotta have four major sports.
How long is the streak running at right now?

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Thirty two years?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Thirty two okay, and so since we've hit the two
thousands and a little bit more, Yeah, no titles for
for Minnesota there. Well, what a great chance, though, I mean,
I'm not trying to hopefully, I'm not jinxing them though,
and they still have to obviously win two more rounds.
But let's be honest, we're I mean, we're talking about this.
This is the defending champs. You win first too on

(06:53):
the road, Yeah, I mean, I think right, they have
every right to be thinking right now, this is our
best chance in a long long time. Yeah, Am I
going too far ahead of things?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
No? I don't think so, because it is their best
chance in a long time. They look great so far.
They swept the Suns, they're up to to oh, winning
both games on the road in Denver against the defending champs.
Things are looking great right now. And man, you know,
Minnesota fans have been through it. Oh yeah, through it, so.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
We and we're we're big on k fan there in
the Twin Cities. Yeah, I'm they can let us know.
But this is this. I mean, look, they're probably gonna
be mad at me for even bringing this up at
this point, but that's what I'm thinking. Just Wow, how
impressive you're You've just kicked the defending champs sideways, winning
two in a row on the road.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I mean, yeah, right, man, I'm just thinking about some
of those disappointments over the years, Eddie, or you think
straight to the Vikings. The ninety eight Vikings were unbelievable
with Randall Cunningham and they had Chris Carter and they
were just a machine offensively. Randy Moss was unbelievable and.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Morton Anderson hadn't missed a kick all seasons. No Gary
Anders or Gary Anderson think mort Anderson on the other
team that don't do that's right.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
And he made the long field and confuslies it's all good.
But yeah, Gary Anderson was perfect and missed a chip
shots like a thirty two yard field goal to take
a ten point lead and they're probably going to the
Super Bowl. Ah, that's just heartbreaking. And then what was
it the nine season with RTT Farv and the Vikings

(08:39):
had the lead on the Saints and Farv throws that
hideous interception. They've been through it. I wonder the mentality
of a Minnesota sports fan if they're like giddy about
Anthony Edwards and the t Wolves right now, or if
it's just like cautious optimism. I don't know where they're at, Eddie,
but you bring up a good point. They've been through it, man.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Probably a little bit of both. I think they're probably
very excited but also not ready to like not ready
for me, like to me and think think of how
this could finish.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Right, So, yeah, no doubt. And also the other NBA
game on Monday night, the Knicks, they have a big
comeback win against the Pacers. Jalen Brunson Man, you mentioned
this in your update, Eddie. He becomes the first NBA
player with at least forty points and five assists in
four straight playoff games. He went for forty three points

(09:31):
in Game one against the Indiana Pacers as the Knicks comeback.
It was a close game, right, shady call with twelve
seconds to go, Miles Turner with the illegal screen. Devencenzo
sold it. It's like Denzel Washington selling it over there.
But the Knicks got the call. They go on to
win the game. That was a great game. It's a

(09:52):
great game with the Knicks winning that game. But a
lot of drama, a lot of drama in the garden
there tonight, Eddie, good stuff.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
I got to go to the Garden earlier this year.
I know I saw hockey game and not an NBA game,
but it was you know, I don't know if we
at some point want to talk about like bucket lists
of places we go. I know, Coop's going to Wrigley
later this year, right, That's right, So that was on
my list. So that was cool to get to see that.
So I got to I mean, yeah, when you go
to whether it's like as a tourist or a sports fan,

(10:21):
when you go to a city or to a venue
that you've seen over and over on TV and you
finally get to experience it. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Absolutely, it is. Well.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
So that leads me to a question, Eddie, because I've
always wondered this because baseball stadiums they each kind of like,
you know, they're very different from each other. They kind
of they have their unique charm. And you know a
lot of NBA arenas you know, you're watching on TV
and they just they just look like every other NBA arena.
So was there something special like about Madison Square Garden

(10:51):
other than just knowing what's taking place there?

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I think the fact that it's obviously in a major
downtown area, right, that's a big deal. The way they
light it up outside, like in the team colors is
really cool. I think they switch it for like Rangers
and Nicks. You know, they've got the different colors and
it is inside. They do have an interesting they have
like this walkway over the top, not a walkway, it's

(11:13):
a have you been.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
There, Brian, Yeah, I've been there a couple of times.
They redid it like the chase whatever thing.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yeah, it's interesting like overhang. Yeah, that is unique to
any indoor stadium I've ever been to. So yeah, it's
got its unique issues there.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yeah, the upgrade they.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Characteristics would be a better we'd not yeses.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Good issues over there. The Chase upgrade or whatever they
call that thing, it's really well done. They put a
lot of money into that, and it's the garden man.
You're right, Eddie, you've seen it on TV. I don't
know how many times. But to be there and to
feel the electricity, it's awesome and it's great for basketball.

(11:55):
It really is. I mean, some people are going to
be rolling their eyes if they root for a team
that's a rival of the Knicks, but I think even
those rival fans would have to admit it's good for
the NBA overall. Where literally it's like the opening tip
and those fans are channing defense. It's game one. Like
some fans are just like, ah, we're easing into this thing.

(12:16):
They're not easing into anything over there. It's great electricity,
it's an awesome atmosphere. I know some New Yorkers would
act like they invented basketball. I get that. I get
the pushback, but you gotta admit it's awesome for the
NBA to have the Knicks back in it and they're relevant.
It's not like they're just there for the first round.
They're gonna bow out. Jalen Brunson is going ballistic. I

(12:39):
lost a prop bet on Jalen Brunson here, Eddie.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
He got off to a hot.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
I know, got off to a hot start in the
first quarter, and I went under forty one and a
half points for Jalen Brunts, and I'm like, look, man,
if this dude drops forty two, I'll just take the
l you know. And the next thing I know, there's
an illegal screen on Miles Turner. Jalen Brunson had forty
points at that point, and the illegal screen led to

(13:07):
my demise. Eddie. There was a foul before the ball
was inbounded, so he got one free throw, and then
of course they inbound the ball to him had to
be Jalen Brunts and he gets filed, makes the next
two free throws. I lose my bed. That's how it
went down for yours truly on Monday evenings.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
The risk of being a gambler, Yes, you know, you
know it all too well. I do.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
I do. I might be picking your brain about hockey bets.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
You know we might have one the last time we
did this, right, did you not.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Yeah, I think I did pull that.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
I remember you. I think you texted me and said, yeah,
that's right, it was.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
It was Austin Matthews scoring.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah he did.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
He came through for me. So maybe you run it
back with somebody else right now that Matthews is gone
and Toronto can't win a game seven to save their
lives crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:56):

(14:58):
pat Riley Eddie with the Miami Heat who was he?
He dished some truth out to Jimmy Buckets over here, right,
So this goes back to last week. Jimmy Butler was
hurt in the play in game against the seventy six

(15:18):
ers and then he never played again and the playoffs
did not play any of the games against the Boston
Celtics as Miami lost in five games. But Jimmy said
if he were out there unhealthy, things would have gone differently.
This is the original SoundBite that pat Riley is reacting to.
Here's Jimmy Butler got it.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yeah, two to three action. If I was playing Boston
to be at home, New York games would be at home.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Okay, So Boston's going home, New York Knicks going home.
That's what Jimmy Butler said. So this is pat Riley
reacting to that. Listen to what pat Riley has to
say about Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 7 (15:59):
For him to say that, you know, I thought, is
that Jimmy trolling or is that Jimmy serious? You know,
if you're not on the court plane against Boston, around
the court playing against New York next, you should keep
your mouth shut and your criticism of those teams.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
I love it, Eddie, are you too?

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Look, you and Coop were just talking about the Tom
Brady roast and I was a bit of a breath
of fresh air. Where's like, hey, we can tell jokes
and laugh and not take everything uber seriously and overreact
to and all that. I think about this too, about
how a lot of athletes are just coddled these days,

(16:42):
and you don't hear many people say something real like
pat Riley just said. I loved it, man, it was
like old school. It was a blast from the past
with pat Riley saying that, well.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
He is old school, so it is. It's not a
lot of character for him, no doubt. And he's obviously
got the rings as an executive and as a head
coach to back up you know, anything he says. But yeah,
especially in the NBA, where you know one guy can
make a huge difference on your team, you don't want
to upset anyone any of your stars, right, I mean, god,

(17:15):
you know knows all the bending over backwards for Lebron James,
regardless of where he's been. So yeah, it's it's rare,
but I thought appropriate and I loved it.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I loved it too, man, because yeah, there is there's
far too much bending over backwards and it's just pathetic
what some of these front offices say. And you know,
whether it's the general manager, the team president or whatever,
it's just oh, yeah, you know, we hope to re
sign him and everything's great and blah blah blah blah.

(17:48):
I just love that pat Riley put it out there
and was like he should keep his mouth shut, man,
And think about that in this day and age, right
when you could set yourself up for a huge backlash,
not with just a player that you said that about,
but just in general. Think how wait, what was it
the shut up in dribble comment Eddie about how that

(18:10):
took off like wildfire, Like we have a right to
say what we want, and I get it, But the
point is there was a huge negative reaction toward that,
and I just don't anticipate that with pat Riley here,
but you could get that as well. It's like Jimmy
Butler's just trying to express his opinions and talk about
what he's thinking and feeling and blah blahl. Pat Riley

(18:34):
doesn't have time for any of that. He's like, yeah,
shut it if you're not out there. And I also think, Eddie,
if you're gonna say that about any player, Jimmy Butler
is probably the best player to say that about, because
Jimmy is very old school as well, and I don't
see him going full diva mode and getting all bent
out of shape. I think he probably just laughed at

(18:56):
it and said, eh, Pat might have a point right there.
I don't know. I'm just guessing, but if any upper
echelon player were to react like that, I think it
would be Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Is Jimmy a social media guy, I know, kind of
everyone is these days, I guess, but I wonder, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
He dabbles, He'll do some stuff on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
That makes responded. Yet on social media, I think that's
probably then what you're saying is probably true that he's yeah, okay,
maybe I probably should have said that.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Yeah, I doubt this would turn into a whole thing.
I really doubt that. But yeah, he'll throw out jokes
from time to time. There was something with the last
series against the Celtics where they want a game and
it's like a photoshopped picture, and he had a joke
about it, and it was this whole thing. I'm sure

(19:45):
pat Riley has zero time for any of that stuff.
He's so old school he's not not trying to get
involved in any of that stuff. But yeah, man, it's uh.
It brings up an interesting thought where it's like, which
athlete have been coddled the most over the years? Right,
like you mentioned, Lebron has got to be one of

(20:05):
the top, if not the top of the list anybody else.
I think you go straight to the NBA. I think
Giannis has been coddled quite a bit. They've bent over
backwards for Jiannis. I don't think all coddling is wrong.
I think it's dangerous but sometimes understandable. It's just how
far do you want to take it? But I think

(20:26):
you would probably go to the NBA first and foremost, right, Eddie,
to find the most coddled athletes.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
I mean I would think so, But I don't know
that it's necessarily an indictment on NBA players. I think,
like I said, it's the circumstances, right, Yeah, when one
player can make such a big difference on your team
because of the number of players that are on the
court at the same time and all that, yeah, then yeah,
you're going to have more of an importance. And then
of course you have a commissioner who does everything you
can to kiss the ass of the players. I'm still

(20:53):
blown away at the popularity of Adam Silver when he
clearly is a player's commissioner and he works for the owners.
It doesn't make any sense to me at all. But man,
he really goes out of his way to take the
side of the players on just about everything.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
It seems, yeah, he does. I'm trying to think of
somebody else who went the pat Riley route, is there?
I think what was it the Houston Texans owner that
he got a lot of pushback where it was about
the you know, the kneeling stuff a couple of years ago,

(21:29):
and he said something about you don't let the inmates
run the asylum and that turned into a whole thing. Right,
so you will get ownership pushing back on certain things.
But that was pretty entertaining from pat Riley right there.
I gotta admit, man, no doubt about that.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Ben Meller
Show weekdays at two am Eastern eleven pm Pacific.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Brian, I got to give major prompts to Eloy and Compton.
He sent me a website that is awesome. Have you
ever heard of champs or chumps? No? Dot us is
is the site. It's amazing. So I now have the
answer to our question. Oh wow, So I don't have
consecutive years, right, but we do have the longest postseason

(22:15):
losing streaks by one team against another in all the
four major sports. Okay, thanks to this side and thanks
to Eloy. So we'll start out. In baseball, the Yankees
have beaten the Twins thirteen straight games in the postseason,
So I guess that would be three series, right. That
would have to extend three series four games to win
a series, so three in baseball. I'm happy to say

(22:38):
that my LA Kings are not close. In hockey, the
New York Rangers extended their postseason winning streak over the
Washington Capitols this season to seven in a row. So
seven straight meetings not consecutive years, obviously. With seven straight meetings,
the Rangers and mccapitals series seven series. There are eight

(22:59):
other active series that are six in a row.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Wow, No kid.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
In the NBA, the Cavaliers have beaten the Atlanta Hawks
and the Detroit Pistons in the playoffs, each twelve games
in a row, so three three series right three active
streaks for the Cavaliers over the Hawks and the Pistons
so three. And in the NFL, the Steelers have beaten

(23:25):
the Colts six straight times in the playoffs. As a matter
of fact, the Steelers are six and zero against the
Colts in the playoffs. They've never lost to them, and
more recently, dating back to last year, the forty nine
Ers have beaten the Packers six straight times in the playoffs,
including last season.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
No kidds. Yeah, ran over Green Bay, man, And think
about some of those games right where it was? You
remember the I think it was the NFC Championship game
where Jimmy Garoppolo, he threw just a handful of passes
and they ran the ball like crazy on Green Bay.
There was also the Colin Kaepernick game where he went

(24:10):
crazy running the ball against Green Bay. Obviously they lost
this past season when Jordan Love played well throughout the
game and then through one of the worst interceptions I've
ever seen in my life, throwing laid across the middle.
It was a terrible decision. Six straight Oh there was
the man. A lot of these are recent too. Green
Bay was the one seed and you had san Fran

(24:34):
block a punt and I think they scored a touchdown
a very low scoring game they beat Green Bay. Man,
those are four games I just listed very recently. We're
talking like the last I don't know, maybe six years
or so. That's brutal. Man. You've got to be feeling
better about your LA Kings after this list here, Eddie.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Yeah, I don't feel quite so that, although I'm trying
to now. The final step is the conceit scutive years
like meeting year after year. Right, what's the winning or
losing streak? So we'll see if we can get that.
But thanks to Eloy and Compton for that and Champs
Versus Trumps. If you're someone who likes to get lost
in stats and streaks and things like that, I would
recommend checking that site out.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah, shout out to you, Loyd. That's awesome.

Okay, Eddie, So a simple question here. We saw a
couple of stars shine on Monday night and thus far
in the playoffs. Jalen Brunson doing his thing for the
New York Knicks. They take a one to ozho series
lead against the Pacers. Anthony Edwards has been spectacular, did
his thing in the first round against the Suns, played

(25:53):
well on Monday night, dropped what forty three in Game one?
He's twenty two years old. He dropped forty three points
in Game one against Denver t Wolves lead that series
two games to nada. Which star has has shined brighter
thus far? Is it Jalen Brunson or is it Anthony Edwards?

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Eddie?

Speaker 3 (26:18):
I'm going team Brunson here because he did something that's unprecedented.
He did something that nobody else has done. Jalen Brunson.
He becomes the first NBA player with at least forty
points and five assists in four straight playoff games. Nobody
else has done that. No one think about that.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
MJ.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Wilt, anybody who's played in the NBA. No one's done it.
Jalen Brunson has done it.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
I mean, that's fine, but the four assist thing is
kind of lame.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Five assists.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
I mean when they got a stretch to find something
unique like that, it's like, Okay, so he's been great,
he's been great. I would go Anthony Edwards just because
I think he's like, he's got more flair. Oh yes,
he's fun to watch. His dunks are amazing and brings
a lot of energy. But there's no wrong answer to

(27:11):
me with those two guys. They've both been amazing.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah, I think that's an interesting way to look at it, Eddie.
If you go with impact versus it's just entertainment value
or super stardom. There's a superstar quality with Anthony Edwards.
It's undeniable. Like they did a little piece on Sports
Center on Monday where they did it really a side

(27:36):
by side with Michael Jordan and Anthony Edwards. And we're
not saying Anthony Edwards is Michael Jordan two point zero.
We're not saying that. It's just some of the movements,
the dunking ability, like the fadeaway shots, the creativity. There
are some things Anthony Edwards does that reminds you of

(27:58):
Michael Jordan. It's just and he's kind of backing off
of those comparisons, like it's like, don't compare me to
that guy. He's the goat, you know, like.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Let's smart.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
It was very smart.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
But I agree with what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Yeah, it reminds you of MJ and that's such a compliment.
But I think if you go impact, I think Jalen
Brunson's impact has been a bit better because when you're
dropping forty points in four straight games, that's an insane
amount of production. And like the Knicks are banged up,

(28:33):
they don't have Julius Randall, they don't have other great
scoring options. I'm not telling you nobody else can score.
They're just not great scoring options. They know he's their
first choice, their second choice, their third choice, and they
still can't stop them. And he does just this herky
jerky motion. He's sort of like a uh he's like

(28:57):
a mini jokichen Away where he just you this is
his body really well, he's really crafty. He's kind of
like start stop, a little a little luka ish, but
being undersized, he's not nearly as big as those dudes.
He's he's unstoppable. In the playoffs. Man, he's been sensational.
I go, I go, uh, Jalen Brunton having the bigger

(29:20):
impact thus far.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
But like, I think that's fair. Yeah, no, I think
that's fair. I will say. I hope we've seen things
maybe turn you know, like when Kevin Durant was in
Oklahoma City, everyone was like, Okay, where's he really going
to go? Right, and you kind of saw that. But
we've seen Yannis stay in Milwaukee. I mean, maybe Jahn

(29:42):
Morant could be in that conversation a little bit when
he's actually playing staying in Memphis, you know what I mean, Like,
he doesn't he doesn't need to go somewhere else to
be a star. I hope that's his choice. If you know,
when he ends up becoming a free agent and wants
to go somewhere else, that's up to him. But I
hope that you know, these guys realize that. I think

(30:02):
in today's age, you don't have to go to New
York or LA or Chicago. You can be where you
are and still be a huge star. And so, you know,
hopefully for Minnesota's sake, he can stay there for a
while and be kind of the face of that team.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah, and I think he's still going to have a
lot of endorsement opportunities. Just his game. He just has
so much style, so much flair. He's just an insane athlete. Man,
Like the dunk earlier against Utah where it was insane
what he did. He just you know,
