Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here we go. Welcome, It's our numb ber. What our
one of the Original Recipe podcast on this Tuesday, the
ninth day of July. A brief fun fact, fun fact
that I will be away from my post the Watchtower
of Sports for the next handful of days on assignment.
(00:21):
You'll still hear the fifth hour podcast that'll be available
this weekend. But this is my last appearance on the
Original Recipe show this week, but I will be back soon.
Here in hour number one, where are you at? On
ceed Lamb refusing to answer questions about the Cowboys and
his contract status. Also, an NFL coach said it, what's
your appraisal of Derrick Henry not losing a step with
(00:41):
the Ravens. We'll discuss that. And Bill's fans, the Bills
Mafia have been showing up to watch stadium construction. How
does that strike you. We'll go there as well. All
of it's coming your way right now. In our number one,
I am not talking to you. I'm actually talking to you.
But an NFL player is.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Not welcome in the beginning of another night of the
Benmahler Show. As we are in the air everywhere like teammates,
as we are a bull at the gate, ready to
get started here coast to coast, border.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
The order in beyond on the vast and sharply powerful
microphones of fsre emmnating live from the Words, the home
of the Wingwords. As we are broadcasting live from the
tyraq dot com studios. Tyract dot com will help you
(01:41):
get there in unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road
hazard protection, over ten thousand recommended installers, almost as many
offensive comments as justin in Cincinnati has sent in and
not artpuffin though as they are available. Tyrack dot com
the way tire buying should be. So our lead this
(02:03):
hour play they hits my man play this. So we're
getting a little closer, inch by inch to the NFL. Now,
the NFL is a false start situation because you have
training camp, and who gives a rats ass about that.
All training camp is good for is people complaining and
people getting hurt. From from our perspective, I don't work
(02:25):
for a team. From our perspective, players get hurt, players
complain about their contracts. That's what training camp is. But
our lead is from the disgruntled wide out department to
that category, more drama O rama in a place so nice.
They made a soap opera about it years ago, Dallas
Jerry's World. And if you did not follow along here,
(02:49):
you missed the the details on this. Maybe you've not
been following. And we're here for so there's a player
named C D Lamb, now C plus D that's Cee
d Ee and then Lamb. So the Cowboy wide receiver
for now, for now, Ceedee Lamb got a little testy
(03:13):
in declaring that he will not answer any questions about
his ongoing contract negotiations. This during a youth football camp
which he's hosting this week in Round Rock, and he said,
I'm not doing. I'm not doing. In fact, he gave
the quote you'll get zero answers. He said, zero answers.
(03:35):
It's all about the kids. He wrote that on social media.
I hope we will all say a prayer for Cedee Lamb.
He is currently set to play the twenty twenty four
season on the fifth year option, which means he will
make eighteen million dollars. We hope that it will work
out financially. Now Lamb is expected to be a no
(03:59):
shows and teaism for Cede Lamb. He's not going to
show up. The Cowboy training camp. That is the expectation
unless the Cowboys show him the money, and it does
not appear they're going to do that at this point.
So let us discuss the question where are you at
on CD Lamb and his refusal to answer questions at
(04:20):
a youth football camp about his Cowboys contractual status. So
I've got TJ's Way, Tom Hanks and Redline tour buses,
and we will combine all of these things together and
we are going to make an old movie which is
(04:41):
on in the background here. I don't know it's old.
Well it say it's pretty good movie, The Wolf of
Wall Street? Is that what they think that is? It's
not bad, all right? So anyway, a we'll start here.
Where are my thoughts on CD Lamb? I don't spend
a lot of time thinking about Ceedee Lamb, but here's
where I am. I find this comical. I find it comical.
(05:02):
That's the word I'm going to use you because Ceedee
Lamb is in the game. He's in the game, and
yet it appears he does not know how to play
the game. Who goofed? I've got to know, seriously, and
this now eve Ta is staggering here. Ceedee lamb. It's
(05:23):
very simple. Here's what you do. You go out there,
you wax poetic, you use your charisma when talking to
the media, and you win the battle. You have the
media fight the battle for you. That's the move. Here
is he doing that? It does not appear that he's
doing that. And as the line goes, you can catch
(05:43):
many many more flies with honey than vinegar. And yet
he's choosing to use vinegar. And so if you say nothing,
and that's not to say anything wants, but if you
say nothing, you're giving a gift to the media. Now
a lot of the media's fanboys these days, so it
doesn't quite apply as much as it did in the
(06:04):
old days. But there was this old sports writer as
friend of mine, we'll call the TJ Way. He passed
away somewhat recently, TJ Simers, and TJ would always explain
to me about how this works. He'd go out and
he'd ask tough questions, and sometimes people would not answer
the questions because they didn't want to answer them. The
golden rule is rather simple. You asked the question, you
(06:27):
give the person you're going to comment about the opportunity
to respond to Robut and then if they choose not
to answer the question. You're then allowed to write and
say whatever you want about that person. Because you gave
them the opportunity they chose not to take it. That's
on them. It's not on you. It's on them. You
gave them the opportunity, You had your chance, and you
didn't get it done. So to rephrase that, also, though
(06:50):
a no comment is in fact a strong comment, I
think we can all agree on this, every man, woman,
and child, that a no comment suggests, at the very
least that you're unhappy. Otherwise you'd give a comment. Why
would you give it no comment. You'd give a comment,
you'd be happy, you'd give a comment. But he's not
giving a comment, So you're upset. And then it also
implies that you're hiding something. There's something that you're upset about,
(07:15):
and that thing you want to hide. That is what
it implies, all right. Now page two, here we go
to Baltimore, where the Ravens figure to be a playoff
team again. They're in the playoffs pretty much every year.
They often don't go very far in the playoffs. So
one of the subplots around the upcoming NFL season is
(07:38):
whether or not Derrick Henry is still in alpha? Is
he still in alpha? Can he continue to play at
a high level in Baltimore in his thirties? Which is
not old in the real world, but as we'd like
to say, in sports, it's old. So at least one
unnamed veteran NFL coach believes that not only will dare
(08:00):
Derrick Henry remain a menace in the NFL. He's a warrior,
but not a Golden State Warrior because that's a basketball
team that plays in Northern California. Coach quoted anadyviously, of course,
saying I don't see him meaning Henry slowing down over
the next two years. I don't think he's lost a
step close quote. So what is your appraisal? What is
(08:22):
your appraisal of Derrick Henry? Quote? Not losing a step.
He's a warrior, he's a menace. What is your opinion
on all that? So my opinion, I'll go first, and
you can chime in on this. In the immortal words
of actor Tom Hanks, believing is seeing and seeing is believing.
(08:45):
And I gotta see it. I gotta see it until
proven otherwise you have to be pessimistic about Derrick Henry.
You treat running backs much like in real estate. A
house gets to a certain point and it if you're
an appraiser of real estate and you look at the
comps in the neighborhood, you do all that stuff, but
(09:07):
you downgrade the houses gets older. The reason you downgraded
is more expensive. The upkeep is more expensive. Pipes are
more likely to burst, Things have to be replaced. Things
break unexpectedly just because they're old. That's what happened now.
Running back is a disposable position.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
It is.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
It's like a disposable razor. You use it up. You
like it, but you don't love it. You don't keep it.
You throw it away. That's it. So I gotta see it.
I'm not gonna say that Henry's gonna be terrible all season.
I don't think that's the case. I believe that Henry
will have some nice performances with the Ravens. But will
he consistently be there? And will he be the Dereck
(09:46):
Henry he had been the MVP level player he had
been with the Titans. I'm going now, My vote is
now all right, last word here. We quickly head now
to Upstate New York and out in Western New York.
And we have a fair amount of listeners in Western
New York. And I've done Mallard meet and Greece. I
did one in Syracuse. We were in Buffalo long long ago.
(10:08):
So a bizarre story. Now we are told, I want
to make sure I tell you this story properly. So
the Bill's Mafia, say die. We have a fair amount
of Bill's Mafia people that like this show. So the
Bill's Mafia, the most loyal minions of the Buffalo Bills.
Some of these yahoos have started watching construction of the
(10:28):
NFL stadium which is being built. It's not going to
open for a couple of years, so it's being constructed
right now as we speak.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Now.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
It started last year. But we are told as the
construction progresses here and there's a building with pillars and
things you can look at. As it starts taking shape,
more and more people are spending their time watching the
construction of said building. So the Bills most die hard fans,
(10:59):
the Bills Mafia showing up to watch a stadium being constructed.
How does this one strike you? So I found this
to be hilarious. I thought this was great. Imagine if
you will, and this is what I had in my head.
And maybe I'm wrong on this and you can correct me,
(11:20):
but imagine in your head. In my head, I had
the cartoon bubble above my head. You know, you go
to certain cities, like you go to Manhattan and they
have the red buses that go around. They take you
to Times Square, they show you Broadway Wall Street. In
LA They've got the Hollywood star vans that go around.
(11:40):
They drive by celebrities homes. You can look at them,
right Miami, I guess you drive by you you see
people in bikinis and drinking cocktails on the beach there
in South Beach. But imagine the Red Line tour buses
for this event. And here we are helping visitors out
of towners and locals by the way, discover the best
(12:01):
that Buffalo has. Arts, culture, history, architecture, just an amazing
all inclusive experience. You jump on one of these Redline
tour buses and we'll give you everything Buffalo has to offer.
Will stop and watch concrete being poured. You can watch
concrete being poured into the bills new NFL Stadium. How
(12:24):
amazing is that? Followed by we'll have a chance to
watch paint dry then we'll have a brief lunch at
the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, the birthplace of the modern
chicken wing. And then we'll take you to a fun
experience of watching grass grow. And in the winter time
we will watch a blizzard, a lake effect blizzard. All
(12:44):
of that part of the bus tour of Buffle. That
is outstanding, fun for all ages, fun for all ages.
Come on out and enjoy the show. Amazing all right,
it is the Ben Mahlor Show. If you would like
to comment on any of this, you are more than
welcome to join us here as speak easy rules are

for leaking practice film from his NFL team. We'll get
(13:27):
to the bottom of that and we will do it next.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Quick, knowledgeable and funny, opinionated.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
What you don't thrupping up?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Yeah, it wasn't talking about you. You took those clips
totally of context.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Oh yeah, well, after this promo, I'm gonna take you
out and beat you.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Mallor Late Night drug tester Retz, and he says to
the bill's fans have to see the new stadium construction
because once it opens up, they won't be able to
afford to get into the new stadium the palace the
ticket prices. Yeah, that's a that's a pricey ticket right there,
that's a pricey ticket. Midnight Walker, who knows a thing
(15:12):
or two about all that he's in Syracuse. He says,
eighteen million just isn't enough for a fellow named Cede Lamb.
The media media tried to speak to him, but he
told them to scram. He's under contract, but CD doesn't care.
At the end of the day, if I was a GM,
I'd sip his ship his ungrateful butt to Tampa Bay,
(15:34):
says Midnight Walker, you feme in Chicago says, Hey, Malard
a plus and a box of Dunkin Donuts on the
opening Mallet monologue, Mister NFL knows how to reel me
back in with the storylines. I don't think Caleb Williams
would leak tape of practice, say it ain't. So we'll
get to that in a second. We'll get to that
(15:55):
in a second. Who else we have page now, Inca
Terror says a plus plus plus on the opening mallad
monologue Living in Rochester in Kotera says, I'm a Bills fan,
but a Buffalo hater. By the way, do you know
what the Golden Snowball Award is? Says Incotar the question mark.
(16:15):
I do, but only from this show. I would not
know about that if it wasn't for this show inco Terror.
So you people, you Inkoterra and all your home boys
and homegirls in Upstate New York have taught me. Do
you know what that is? That you're aware of? The
Golden Snowball Award?
Speaker 6 (16:33):
Yes, I don't believe I am.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
You are not all right. We've talked about in the past,
but the collection of cities in western or Upstate New
York and they have a competition and whoever gets the
most snow wins the Golden Snowball.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
No, that does not sound familiar at all. Really, Yeah,
we talked about a long time ago. I would never
want to win that award, says now.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Well, that's what you live in the Great Lakes, though,
You've got to embrace the native culture of the Great Lake, right.
Speaker 7 (17:00):
I thought I had something to do with like yellow
snow cones.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
There's something else. Yellow snow is snowing for it. It's
a little different, stay away from the yellow snowballs. I
did get a call. I get a voicemail from Doc Mike.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
You.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, so he's not in jail. We've learned that, and
he's traveling around. We didn't call this show in a while, though,
Doc and trying to get a hold of weed Man
because some people reached out. I told you any previous episodes.
Some people reached out to weed Man. They wanted to
help him out. So he's now his phone is off.
I think he might have been arrested again, so he's
not answering his phone. So things are going well. Things
(17:36):
are going very well. Doc Mike was too busy to
meet up with me. Yeah, busy man.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
He is he in Chicago again?
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Is he back?
Speaker 2 (17:44):
No?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
I don't think he is.
Speaker 8 (17:45):
He was for uh like up until like for a
day while I was out there. I got to Chicago
on July third. He was there on the fourth, but
apparently had lots of appointments with clients.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Clients. Yes, he could have taken you to Connie's. Is
that what you want? Eddie Connie's Yes, yeah, Connie's he
blew me off. And then on the fifth he left
for Oregon. Oh, he's on the Oregon Trail. Yep.
Speaker 6 (18:13):
Has Loraina had the pleasure of the.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
She has not?
Speaker 6 (18:15):
No dock Mike.
Speaker 7 (18:16):
I don't think no, not yet.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
No.
Speaker 6 (18:18):
Well, you're in for a treat.
Speaker 7 (18:19):
Maybe I'll run into him on the Oregon Trail sometimes. O.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Well, Doc will drive anywhere. He'll come visit you wherever
you want there. I'm sure he's I'm guessing he's in Medford.
That's where all of our listeners end up as in Medford.
That's a magical place, Medford, Oregon. Justin and Cincinnati says
Bill's fans want to see the stadium before Josh Allen
sets it on fire with a fourth quarter playoff collapse.
(18:45):
O all right, who else do we have? Page Dawn
Eke in Roseville, Minnesota says the Ceedee Lamb situation is
going to drive Jerry Jones to drink woolight. I think
he's good. I think he's all right. Here's got some
other shoes. Well, discuss coming up in a little bit.
Viva los Vicki says we are twenty five days away
(19:06):
from the Hall of Fame game. Does that excite you
at all that he's been to the Hall of Fame
game before?
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Yeah? What an exciting game.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
That was riveting.
Speaker 6 (19:16):
Yes, Yeah, even my favorite team was involved. I didn't care.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
You weren't the one that was canceled. Remember that they
didn't play the one because they painted the field with
the wrong pain and that was a big to do.
That's my snapshot Hall of Fame memory. That's that's it
right there, my wonderful Hall of Fame memory. So is
it true a starting quarterback in the NFL has been
accused of leaking practice film. That quarterback who hasn't even
(19:44):
started a game yet for his new team, Jaden Daniels
of the Washington football team. We talked about this in
a previous episode of the show. Brandon Auk, the wide
receiver for the forty nine ers, posted on the TikTok
Talk a video clip that was clearly from the Washington Commanders,
(20:07):
and it would appear based on the evidence trail, the
consensus is that Brandon I got that hand delivered from
Jalen Daniels. That that's who else would have given it
to them, their buddies, their besties and all that stuff.
And so that one screenshot, that one image has created
(20:28):
a lot of blowback that the number two overall pick
in the NFL draft from the Commanders. This guy's out
there and he's he's giving out inside information. Now, I
would argue that the Washington Commanders should live stream their practice.
It wouldn't change the damn thing. That doesn't matter whether
Jaden Daniels sent this out or not. I mean that
(20:50):
they're that terrible. The team could know what they're doing
and it would actually probably help them. So the inference,
the implication is that the that Iyok was watching game
film with Jadeen Daniels preparing for a trade from San
Francisco to Washington. Again, this blows my mind that someone
(21:10):
would really want to play for the Washington Commanders. Right now,
this is unauthorized. You are not allowed to give out
the intellectual property of the Washington football team, even though
I would again argue they don't have any intellectual property
because they stink. Let's go to the We'll sallo to Packy,
(21:30):
who he says, Packy, He's in Nashville. Hello, Packy, welcome, Hey.
Speaker 9 (21:35):
Ben, Hey dang On, Derrick Henry, I want to talk
about that for a second. Ben, There's a couple of
things you have to keep in mind with Dereck Henry,
and yes, I'm a Titan fan. Yes I'm a Derick
Henry stand but it's finally good to see that people
are talking about Dereck Henery considering he has been one
of the best running backs in the past decades. But
(21:56):
he didn't play the first two years. He was a
back up to the Marco Murray, so he still has
some things left in the tank.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Now.
Speaker 9 (22:02):
I'm not saying that he's going to be the leading
rusher this year, but he had a thousand yards last
season behind the worst offensive line in all of football
for a very long time, a two hundred and seventy
pounds center. That's now with the Miami Dolphins playing behind
Derek Hemery, where the philosophy has been run, run pass.
(22:23):
It's not the offense of the new millennium. We're finally
getting there. But I don't think Derrick Henry is done
and he's not.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
All right.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
So you you like the guy I got. You like
the guy, so you think he's gonna be fine. And
the Ravens have always had good running game, but they
usually rotate running backs since they get hurt. They end
up getting hurt. Here's the other problem. All right, here's
the other thing, Baggy. And you know this because you're
an NFL guy, you're an NFL fan. You know that
the nerds who run the NFL now have determined that
once a running back gets passed fifteen hundred touches, they crumble,
(22:55):
they self destruct. You've heard that over the years. And
Derrick Henry is one of the reasons there wasn't a
lot of interest in Dereck Henry is because he's passed.
He's past that rubicon. He's crossed the rubicon, and he's
at like two thousand rushing attempts and I don't know
how many pass attempts he's gotten whatever. So that's the
argument against. I think he'll be okay at times, but
I wouldn't bet on him to lead the Ravens. And
(23:17):
because Lamar Jackson is gonna be the leading rusher for
the Ravens even with Derrick Henry.
Speaker 9 (23:22):
Yeah, he's not. His job isn't to lead the Ravens.
That his job was to lead the Titan. But he
was here. But it's a different situation where Lamar Jackson
is in charge of the team. But I think that
the Baltimore Ravens, who I hate and hope, a terrible job.
Besides Derrick Henry, h it's his job to take less
hit and give the ball to Derek caerry Moore. But
(23:43):
it's gonna work out for them. But again, Derrick Henry
isn't done.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Now, hold on, hold on, pack, We needed some hot
Titan talk. So is there a quarterback battle between Will
Levis and Mason Rudolph the Red Noose quarterback who is
now in Tennessee. He's not in Bitsburg anymore. He went
to Tennessee. Will he be?
Speaker 9 (24:04):
I'm afraid if Mason Rudolph wasn't an NFL starting quarterback
with the Steelers who had a nextllent defense, he's not
going to be starting quarterback.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
That is That is the proper take. All right, I
gotta let you go. Thank you, Will Levis. Go eat
some mayonnaise to dip the mayonnaise or winning your coffee
or whatever. Yeah. He Titans mid level team, right, The
Titans no better than mid level. They picked up they
made some moves this off. See, they spent some money,
so good for them. They brought in Calvin Ridley, the
(24:33):
gambling man at wide receiver. Tony Pollard is there running
back from former cowboy Tony Pollard's hanging out in Tennessee.
And they had they had Mason Rudolph. There's you know,
it's not mid level, guys, but in the NFL mid
level you win nine ten games in you're a playoff team. Off,
you're a wild card team at that particular point time.
(24:55):
Now for the who am I game, we'll go to
baseball for the who am I? Actually we'll wait on
the who am I? We'll press on. We'll get to Eddie.
We'll get to who am I?
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Game?
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Later. I want to jump the gun on the who
am I?
Speaker 6 (25:04):
Game?
Speaker 1 (25:04):
People get very upset when I jump the gun. They
go nuts. I'll tell you in a little bit who
I am. I'm not going to tell you right now.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Ben Mellor
Show weekdays at two am Eastern eleven pm Pacific.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Speaking of college basketball or a player who's going to
play college basketball, Cooper Flag with two g's.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Make sure you say that properly. Eddie Shrending, he's not
a European cigarette. I never heard of him, but apparently
he's the next big thing. Seventeen year old going to
Duke next year. Was competing against Team USA and their
training team. He's American, Eddie, Yes he is. He's not
a Euro the great correct, great American hope right there
to save basketball.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
They were taking on the our Olympic team that's going
to Paris. He was part of the team. That's his name,
Eddie Cooper Flag two g's yeah, old glory. Apparently he
wowed him at the training camp taken on the NBA guys,
wowed really huh and expected to be the number one
overall pick in next year's draft. So apparently one year
at Duke and then.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
I'm gonna be done there.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
So we go to the tank Cooper Flag, I'm sure.
I'm sure our guy justin Cincinnati is slobbering all over.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Col we are maybe let me do the math on
this that I have a a lottery simulator, Eddie, I'm
gonna say, who's gonna get Oh, it's exciting, Cooper Flag.
Speaker 6 (26:20):
Do we have sound effects?
Speaker 1 (26:20):
We have any music for this? Loren, I'm gonna do.
This is the NBA Draft Lottery twenty twenty five simulator.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
How about this one day.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
All right, Oh all right, I like that. All right,
big Buddy, big Bundy, stop all right. According to this
the Detroit basketball.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
I want to go back to Duke for another year.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Detroit. Well, when they do it again this year, hit
it age.
Speaker 10 (26:49):
Buddy, big Buddy, big Buddy man Oklahoma City. Oh, I
don't know that he wants to go there either. I
think he'd want to go there him on the I don't.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Know is he from. Is he from Connecticut? Is that
where he's originally from. I don't know where he's from.
I think I heard about this guy a couple of
years ago. Or maybe he's somewhere in the northeast. I think,
let me look here, let's see here. Where's this guy from.
Maybe I'm completely wrong. Maybe I was confusing him with
somebody else. He went to some places from Newport, Maine
(27:21):
though he's Newport, Maine. There you go and he's he's
such a prodigy there.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
I'm sure he learned under our guy Blair and Maine.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
When you're a prodigy, Eddie, you don't stay in Maine.
You have to go to Florida to some academy. That's
how you do it. He ended up if he is
the number one pick, would that be the greatest athlete
ever out of the state of Maine.
Speaker 6 (27:41):
Wasn't Roger Maris from Maine?
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Bad job, bad bad knowledge? Eddie? Come on, great, that's
the famous athlete?
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Are you looking it up? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Trying to look it up here, but there's it's hard
to find that. It's very specific famous people I guess
would be the famous people from Maine. Oh, we just
ask listeners who are in Maine, right we're on the radio.
There is just somebody knows who, like the Native Sons
are There are no stupid questions here. It says Aaron
Andrews born in Lewiston, Maine. She she'd be more famous
(28:15):
than the number one, potentially number one pick in the draft. Yeah,
I'm sure that's somebody.
Speaker 6 (28:21):
These names, I would.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Say, no on that.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Dennis Blair the US direction must be the dad of
Blair and Maine. Yeah, it's Dennis Dennis. That would be
Blair Blair. That would be very odd. If it was
Blair Blair, it would be very that would be I
don't look through all these these A lot of these
people are been dead for hundreds of year.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
It sounds like I might have to. We might have
to go Cooper flag on this.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Until somebody can trump Cooper flag. We're going to go
with that. Let's go, Let's go to the phones and
we'll do a wellness check on Skeeter in Montana.
Speaker 11 (28:55):
Hello, Skeeter, Hello, Then this is a update on my health.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Date, Skeeter, wellness update. We go to Montana the life
in times of the international Man of Mystery, a man
that served time in the US military. Skeeter.
Speaker 11 (29:16):
Yes, I have stage four lung cancer caused by a
combination of asbesto and smoking a few years ago. And
there are two drugs being tested and be prescribe them
on a hopefully on the thirty first of this month.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (29:39):
Now they're not prescribing chemo or radiation.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Okay, all right, so you're gonna get some day. They
have some medicine. They have some medicine there. They're optimistic
about Skeeter. They think this could help you a lot.
Speaker 11 (29:55):
Right, Yeah, it's tested for the condition. I have purpose
two of them under tests, and uh uh I'll be
seeing the doctor on the third to first of this
month's regarding that.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
All right, all right, well, hanging there hopefully they'll get
you the good medicine. And then there's all kinds of
breakthroughs I know in the cancer treatment and whatnot. Skeeter.
So you said you were around as best as when
you were younger as a young man is out.
Speaker 11 (30:20):
Yeah, when I commissioned two ships. Uh, they're full of
asbestis for insulation and uh like in well you and
regular terms and delivery latrine and the navy it's ahead
and they're uh best that's all over the place. And
(30:40):
the films from that. Uh and look through the ventilation system.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Yeah, they didn't know right as best as when it
first came out. They thought it was wonderful. They didn't
realize that it had all these little spores that were
going everywhere.
Speaker 11 (30:52):
They didn't. Yeah, and a comment on your monologue. Great job.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Oh we'll thank you, Ski. Look at you, Skeeter. Listen,
we're pulling for you. Ski. You better keep us updated, Okay,
let us know what's going on with you. They better
get you some good meda. If they don't get your
good medicine, call me up, Sketer. I'll kick their ass
all right for you. I'll kick your I'll yell at them.
At least I'll yell. All right, buddy, I like your attitude.
That's the way to go.
Speaker 6 (31:15):
Skeeter.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
All right, buddy, hang in their pal all right, there's
our buddy, Skeeter. Well, that was not what I was
hoping for it. Yeah, I was not hoping for that.
But you know, Skeeter seems to have a good outlook.
And I know, I know my mom when she had
she had the cancer years ago. I remember reading all
these studies and they always say the thing about the medicines.
(31:36):
The studies I read back and there's always like ten
years away. Well, now it's been ten years, so there's
there should be some stuff, right, there's been you know,
you wait a certain amount of time.
Speaker 7 (31:45):
Yeah, my mom too, she was on the trial medicine
back in the day.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Yeah, the other And if I should say scam, but
my opinion, I can say whatever I want. It's my
opinion is that those trials, they often put people in
those medical trials that they think are going to succeed,
so they kind of the numbers are a little fuzzy
on that. Yeah, it's a little a little shady.
Speaker 8 (32:09):
This this this is one of the topics that that
I will big pharma. I'll jump onto the conspiracy theorist
with all right.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
What is that? Justin's listening in Cincinnati's dying to hear
what you have to say.
Speaker 8 (32:22):
I'm just saying that it's you know, we have a
for profit healthcare system, and what percentage of that profit
is from various forms of cancer treatment? And if they
you know, cured all cancer, how much how much profit
goes away?
Speaker 1 (32:39):
The problem is there's so many different types of cancer.
Speaker 9 (32:41):
Though.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
That's the problem too. There's a ton right right, So
it's not just one thing. It was one thing.
Speaker 6 (32:46):
I think.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
What about now? What about my conspiracies for going down
conspiracy highway? That there is a way to drive automobiles
with like water?
Speaker 7 (32:55):
Oh, that's totally true. They killed that guy back in
like the seventies.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
When I when I was a kid, there was a
story that somebody had come up with a way to
drive automobiles with water, and that they I guess the
I don't know if I didn't hear the guy died,
but they bought the patent to it, the rights to it. Huh.
Any other conspiracies we like that anyone Coop's going big
pharmas wants to keep people sick. I'm going the gas thing.
Speaker 7 (33:25):
We've already talked about lizards before. Ben, I'm not going
back there again.

the podcast or whatever. I don't know. I don't know
who does it. But yeah, I'm not sure.
Speaker 8 (36:05):
I mean, like I I place where the commercials go,
but they auto populate with whatever is in you know,
the system from I don't. I don't know who controls
that all. I mean, yeah, I'll find.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Yes, that's some point.
Speaker 6 (36:19):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
Yeah, so that commercial will be relevant again. It hasn't
been for eight months, but it will be relevant again.
Speaker 6 (36:26):
I actually I think it's more relevant now.
Speaker 8 (36:29):
No nuts, Winter's coming and like likes, it's around the
corner six months.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
