Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're going to uh check in on something I'm gonna
call the juice meter in terms of excitement. What ranks
at the top? That's on the way. We are broadcasting
live from the tirac dot com studios. Tirack dot com
will help get you there and unmatched selection, fast free shipping,
free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers.

(00:22):
Tirac dot com the way tire buying should be. You know, Eddie,
I was just thinking about this. If we look at
the NBA and the NHL playoffs, just in terms of
excitement intrigue. You want to see how this series unfolds.
You want to watch how it develops. It's entertaining to you.

(00:43):
If you take the NHL and I take the NBA.
What would the four series remaining if you were ranking
them on the juice meter, the excitement meter? How would
you rank the series? So I'll throw it to you
at first, how would you rank these four separate NHL

(01:03):
series in terms of most exciting all the way down
to the least exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I would take like going into it because you know
we've seen a few games so far.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Change is it? What the stage that it's at too?
You got to throw that into the mix as well.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
So I would say, going into the second round, is
that what you're talking about? Right?

Speaker 1 (01:26):
You could do it either way. You could go going
in or you could going where it is here.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
And now I would say going into the second round,
I would have said Rangers Hurricanes was probably the most
anticipated series because they were one two in the Eastern Conference,
even though they're meeting in the second round. Because I
mentioned this before, the NHL has this unique playoff system,
right right, I think Dallas Colorado would have been number two, okay,

(01:52):
Florida Boston three, and then all due respect to our
friends north of the border, Vancouver Edmonton for me would
have been four. But I'm up there obviously that's number one,
and I'm guessing I would say, but right now, after
the Rangers have taken a two nothing lead, I'd probably
exchange them with Dallas Colorado. I'd make that one number
one at the moment and put Rangers Carolina number two.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Okay, fair enough. I think I like how you went
about it. I think it's similar in the NBA playoffs.
I think heading in to the second round, I would
have put Nuggets timber Wolves at the top. Now, that
Minnesota has won two games on the road. It's like,

(02:34):
I still think it could be the most interesting series.
It's just like, how long is this series gonna last?
Because Denver doesn't look good at all right now. Jamal
Murray's throwing heat packs on the court. He's so frustrated.
They're getting blown out at home in Game two, in
a game they had to have when Rudy Gobert isn't
even there. Now they're going to Minnesota. I don't know

(02:56):
that it still isn't the top series though. I just
don't know how long it's gonna last. So going in
it would have been for me, and people might disagree,
but I would go Nuggets T Wolves. You get who
I think is gonna be named the MVP, and Jokic,
you get Anthony Edwards. You got a lot of intrigue there,

(03:17):
So going in, I would put that number one. I
would put it's a tough call between thunder MAVs and
Pacers Knicks because just the electricity of the garden is fantastic.
Jalen Brunson is outstanding. I just don't take the Pacers seriously.
I think they're good at times, and they just don't
play defense. I don't think they're going far. I would

(03:40):
put ok Se Dallas number two. I would put Pacers
Nicks three, and of course Boston Cleveland is the fourth one.
That doesn't change at all. It might go down even
further after the blowout on Tuesday night, Eddie, you know,
might drop that down to fifth or sixth, even though
there's only four series. But now that it's where it's at,

(04:03):
I gotta see if the Nuggets crash and burn, you know,
I'd still put that at the top of the list.
My my rankings don't change right now. I would still
put Denver Minnesota up there at one, followed by Okay, okay,
see Dallas and Pacers Knicks. That'd be my ranking right there.
I think that's a decent ranking. Edd of you you
got NBA BF with that, Yeah you do, Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I think I might have Oh you had Okay, give
me give me yours again real quick. I know gets
Denver Wolves, who was two and three? That's the one
I might I.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Would go to. I would go, Okay, see Dallas.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Yeah I would. I would Switchers you go next up there?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, I deduct points because the Pacers, you know, it's
it's just not musty TV. Sorry, indeed, I get that.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I mean the Mavericks do have Luca and Ki, so
I get you.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, Luca, Kyrie get Sga. You got Okac playing defense.
I know sometimes defense doesn't sell the same way as
offense does.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
But I think though, I would rather watch Jalen Brunson
over anybody on the Thunder in the.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Hit Man, Jalen brunts it is magnificent, but Luca's banged
up to Luca's got the knee issue, didn't play that
great in Game one. He was one for eight from
three point range, Eddie. He's just clearly not healthy, so
you factor that in there. But man, Sga is just
such a smooth score, absolutely smooth. But yeah, man, the

(05:42):
action on Tuesday night it was blowout city. In the NBA.
Celtics won by twenty five, Thunder one by twenty two.
It was all about the NHL. That's where the drama was, Eddie.
How about our guy, Igor Shasterkin fifty four safs good
low human backstop back there.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, yeah, he had a There was a power play
at the end of right at the end of regulation
they called the power play are they called it penalley?
I guess they say on Carolina. So the Rangers had
a powerplay chance to win it at the end of regulation,
and they gave up two huge shorthanded chances and Igor
bailed their asses, crazy as staves and uh nah, he's

(06:27):
been a wall.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I'll tell you what, man, there's nothing worse than your
team giving up a shorthanded goal. That's just.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Kind of like a pick six in football kind of.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
You're like, we're on the power play, this could be good,
we might score, we got a better chance, and then
you give up the goal. That's terrible. That's awful. And
you mentioned this Colorado coming back. They were down three
to nothing, they come all the way back win the game.
Hockey's crazy. That's one thing I do love about hockey.
It's just so random. You know, you got wild comebacks,

(07:02):
wild results. Mark Messier he was saying this on Tuesday
night on SportsCenter Eddie. He was like, I always feel
like game three is the biggest game, and he's like,
whether you're up two to oh, down oh two, tide
one one doesn't matter. It's game three. Game three is
the biggest game in my book. And I just thought
about that as it relates to the NBA. You just

(07:25):
can't say it the same. It's just a different sport.
You know. You couldn't say whether you're up two oh
or down oh two, it's all about game three. It
just doesn't work the same way. The sport is just different.
So I find that interesting.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yeah, that's interesting because I probably would have said game four, right.
The difference between three to one and two to two
is just enormous to me. Yeah, you know, you're two two.
It's a best of three. You know, down three to
one just seems like you're on the vergin. I mean,
you are on the vergin being knocked down.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
So what about a pivotal game five? Though Eddie series
is tied to two pivotal.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yeah, I'm going four.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Go for you a game four four Messie goes three.
You can't. You can't argue with game seven if it
gets there. You know, I can't argue with that. We've
got I don't know if we're gonna hear from Poppy
in San Diego, he was two to zero. He called
his shot going with the Celtics in game one also
took him in the first half. Eddie sometimes doesn't work

(08:27):
out that way. Nuggets have been bad in the first
half most of their games, and they won every game
against the Lakers but one of them, you know. But
he went first half, end full game and he was
correct on both of those. So I don't know if
he's just gonna let it ride, you know, and we'll
hear from him tonight, or he's just gonna be like,
you know what, I'm just gonna just chill here in

(08:49):
Winterville and not press his luck. But in any event, Wednesday,
we get the the Pacers and the Knicks. Question for you,
is Jalen Brunson dropping forty again? What would this be
a fifth straight game? It's crazy He's done this four
in a row.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Good Lord, see any reason why not.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Double the guy? Like make Devincenzo hit shots, make some
of the role players, make Josh Hart step up, make
Miles McBride come off the bench and hit shots. Don't
let Jalen Brunson just kill you. I don't understand these coaches, Eddie.
They were double the tea. Wolves were doubling Yokic in

(09:32):
the first quarter in Game two. It's like smart strategy.
Why would you let Brunson just dissect you possession after possession?
It makes no sense.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Why I got no answer for you.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
I don't understand. Is there anything strategy wise that just
gets under your skin With hockey the coaches do something
that you're just like. They're like basketball, for instance, you're
up by three his final seconds, other team has the ball,
foul them every time, and yet coaches are like, nah,

(10:08):
maybe they'll miss from three. Well, we'll try to challenge
him hopefully. It's not an open look. Tries me crazy.
What is it with hockey? With you? There's got to
be something.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Ah, maybe pulling the goal you a little just a
little bit sooner. There's always this kind of unwritten rule.
It's like about a minute and a half, right, yeah, yeah,
it's like let's just still scroll the dice, you know,
let's spull them a little bit early.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
I totally agree.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
It's starting to change a little bit. Do you ever
once to while like like Patrick Waugh he took over
as coach of the Islanders, he'll do it like for
minutes left, you know what I mean. He'll use a
gambler a little bit.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
So I think that's smart. Why wouldn't you Why wouldn't
you live leave yourself a little bit more extra time
and man, especially if you're you know, you give up
an empty net or you still have more time to
like just keep going empty net, right, Like, I think
your odds are better that way. I don't. I don't
get that either. It's kind of crazy. Let's see, I

(11:05):
was looking at the betting odds. You'd be I think
you'd be proud of me, Eddie, I don't know, or
else you'd be more alarmed. But I'm looking at the
hockey betting odds here. How about this, man, Panthers huge
favorite against the Bruins. Bruins crushed them in Game one, right,
five to one. Panthers are favored on the money line
minus one seventy five. You got to risk one seventy

(11:27):
five to win one hundred huge favorites. You agree with
that after a five to one beat down, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yeah, I do actually think. I think they're going to
bounce back.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
I think they're gonna respond.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, But then again, I would have I would have
bet big that Florida would have won Game one also,
so there's that.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Yeah, hockey's crazy, man. I don't know how. I don't know.
I don't know what the sharps look at to hone
in Look, man, I think it's a lot like casino gambling.
You might have a casino game of choice that you
just fair better, you got a better feel for it,
the whole thing. It's the same thing in sports betting,

(12:05):
Like there's no shame in just not having any feel
for a particular sport. Just stay away. You know, nothing
wrong with that. By the way, Eddie, the point spread
has moved a little bit. If you look at Pacers Nicks,
that's your Wednesday evening game, game two, So some movement here.

(12:27):
It opened at Nick's favored by six and a half.
It's gone down Pacers. Money is flowing in here, Eddie.
It's down to Nick's favored by four and a half.
It's moved by two points. So people believe it in
a PACER's bounce back there. What do you think about that?
I think Pacers bounce back.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I'm gonna say no, but the NBA is not my jam,
so take that for what it's worth. Nothing.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, hey, man, hey, you might be right. That's the
crazy thing about betting. Sometimes the less you know, the better.
Filling out your NCAA tournament bracket, You're like, oh no, no,
I've studied the you know all the rankings, I love
all these analytical websites, and ken Palm is on my

(13:13):
screen saver. It doesn't matter. Someone who knows nothing might
fare better. That's how it goes. Eddie, we've got right
around the corner. We've got a big name that is back.
And hey man, let's look at season win totals for
a second as well. We'll do that around the corner.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I like this tweet from Justin and Cincinnati. It's funny,
it's accurate, unfortunately. But I was talking about the game
versus right, you and I squaring off who could name
the colleges of NFL players past and present, And some
of the names that were throwing our way were Man Doozies,

(15:16):
what was the backup running back for the Chargers? And
like nine other.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Times, I've already forgotten his name.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yeah, So it was Toddman, I think, right, yeah, but
Justin and Cincinnati our guy, he just said, you both
doing your best clippers in the playoffs imitation tonight he
said we were not stellar, not Steller with the game

(15:42):
versus But you know, whatever.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Hit I hit a big three pointer to start the game.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
You really did, Oh man. I was like, well.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
After that, I was like missing layups and.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, hey man, it's all you got the highlight though,
you know I always have that highlight right there. How
about Joe Burrow, He's back on the field, Eddie. He
had that wrist injury last year. It gets hurt all
the time. Joe Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks
in football. But you know what's funny. I've just thought
about this. We're always talking about to a tongue of

(16:12):
I Loa getting hurt. He had the concussion issues. He's
missed a handful of games, but he was there for
all seventeen last season, And I feel like to a
tongue of I Loa has much more of a ah.
He's made a glass. He's got more of that reputation
than Joe Burrow does. Look, man, Joe Burrow is a baller.

(16:33):
The guy can't stay on the field. Are you with
me on that? Like we look sideways at Tua, like,
is this guy gonna last? Why don't we look at
Joe Burrow that way?

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Yeah, a little bit. I can understand your point of
view on that.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Yeah, he's been hurt almost every year. He had the
bad knee injury the first year, he had the wrist
injury last year. What else the I can't keep all
his injuries straight? What else did he mess up?

Speaker 5 (17:03):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (17:04):
I feel like.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Those are the only two real really, right.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
I think he had something else in there that caused
him to miss a decent amount of time.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
In college, he had one right injury, right, But yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Think you're right, Coop, because he's got two years of
playing sixteen games, so he's gutted it out a couple
of years. But yeah, the serious knee injury and then
the wrist injury. But and he had oh that's right,
the beginning of last season he had the calf. Remember
he had the calf and he gutted through it.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
But he was hurt in the preseason, yeah, or what
it was practice? In the preseason.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
He was practice, he was running around and he started
limping around. He's like Oh my gosh. So he had
the calf and the wrist. Last season, he had the
bad knee injury year one. He's banged up quite a bit, right.
I just don't think he has that reputation the same
way Tua does. Look, Joe Burrow is better than tu
that's not.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
There's that and also two concussions are bigger here than
calf and you know all the other stuff.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah, I don't know. Man, if you're out, you're out.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
No, no concussion. Concussion can end your career. You know
you're not going to end your career with the pulled
calf muscle.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
No, that's fair. I'm just saying for the here and now.
You're right if you're looking at the long haul. But
I'm just saying the here and now, whether it's whatever,
it's calf here, it's a concussion there. If Joe Burrow
last season he missed what seven games? He only played ten,

(18:42):
so yeah, he was on the shelf for a different reason.
But I'm just saying for that season, for twenty twenty three.
You know, I'm just looking at it short term. You're right,
and looking at the.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Long haul, I'm but I'm looking at it more of
what is going to get more discussion and more headlines
and more concern That's that's basically what you're saying. You're saying,
you know, he's just his injury prone as to us,
so he should be brought in that discussion as well.
But the injuries to tool were potentially more severe. And

(19:14):
could you know you're talking when you're talking about the
quarterback position, you know that obviously is the most important position.
So I get that you're you could miss some games
regardless of what the injury is, but you know, you
you could be losing your you know, franch quote unquote
franchise quarterback if you if he gets another concussion, you
don't know what's gonna happen to that.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Yeah, sure, Tua was thrown up in voluntary gang signs
on the on the.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Fetis against the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
By the way, prefer the han solo and carbonite or.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
I haven't heard that.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
It's for you know, certain nerds understand.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Uh, Hey, that matters that you're right because the Dolphins
are talking about a long term extension and that would
make you more fearful about committing that type of money
with the unknown with the injury history right there with
it specifically being concussion. So, yeah, you're right, but I

(20:14):
don't know, man, I'm just saying missing games is missing games.
And when Joe Burrow has missed seven this first season,
this last season, he missed I in twenty twenty, is
that the first year they started playing seventeen? They've been
doing it for at least three years. I don't know
if it's been four years. So he missed six or
seven games twenty twenty one, twenty one, okay, so he

(20:35):
missed six games his rookie year. So you're starting to
add up, you know. But anyway, the Bengals Eddie, their
season win total is set at ten and a half.
What do you think about the Bengals right there? Over
under ten and a half wins for the season, Like,
that's the interesting thing. A lot of it hinges on

(20:56):
the health of Joe Burrow. How healthy?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Yeah? How How strongly do you feel about taking the
over when Joe Burrow has been banged up as much
as he has been.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yeah, there's a reason why they they they're good at
putting that number out there. I know you were talking
about one earlier, but I'd say ten is right there.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
It is. I think so yeah the Titans. Yeah, right,
Titans at six and a half. Man, they went six
and eleven last season with like with who right, like
you had Will LEVI start a couple of games Ryan
Tannehill was banged up and bad, and yeah, they're one
win away. You don't think they improved by one win

(21:38):
from last season?

Speaker 2 (21:40):
I would think so.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I think they have. But yeah, not convinced. With the Bengals.
If we're looking at season win totals, I'll throw out
two other teams. The Packers are at ten and a half.
I do not see the Packers getting to eleven wins. Eddie,
I love that under you. How do you feel about
the pack h? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
Hm.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Why do you ask me these questions? That's given no
thought to have looked at this.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
How can I put Eddie in an uncomfortable spot? I
know Packers win total boom, let's do that. Let's talk
about that. No, man, listen, Jordan Love, he had a
really good season, but I gotta see more. Sorry, I
gotta see him. I threw thirty two touchdown passes, is
very impressive, very impressive, but I gotta see more. I'm
not convinced this dude, is the truth. He had a

(22:36):
good year, but I got to see more going forward.
And they're trying to fix their defense, but their defense
is not very good.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
You got to imagine their division got better too.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Yeah, Lions are really good. Bears are definitely better. Yeah
in Minnesota, right, Like Minnesota is a weird team where
that one may maybe not. But divisional game coop, you
know that's not a layup for the Packers playing the Vikings.
You go there, your secondary sucks. You gotta cover justin Jefferson.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
You know lot who else they got? They got away
to the Jags, away to the Rams, Eagles, Seahawks, Titans,
forty nine ers.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
A lot of l's there. Yeah, you rattled off a
handful of l's.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Yeah that's true. Then you know than the rest of
these ones, these ones are probably w's. You got the
Cardinals Colts coop.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
When you're in Vegas winning the World Series of Poker,
please take a portion of that cash and put it
on the Packers season win total under please.

Speaker 6 (23:40):
No, I mean, if you want to send me some
money to do that, sure, But I mean I really
like Jordan Love. I think I think the Packers nailed
it again. But but like, you know the point you
brought up, it's just it's uh. I don't know about
the rest of the team.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yeah, you know who I love is the Jets in
twenty twenty four is they're at nine and a half.
I love the over love it. You got Aaron Rodgers.
I think a lot of people bought into the Jets
last year and Aaron Rodgers got hurt right away and

(24:16):
they just never went back on the same bandwagon. That's
still Aaron Rodgers. I know it's coming off in Achilles injury. Fine, whatever,
he's not Lamar Jackson. It's not like he relied on
his mobility and this is just good. He's got a
completely different quarterback. He's one of the best passing quarterbacks

(24:37):
we have still in the game with a real defense.
And last year their quarterbacks combined for eleven touchdowns and
fifteen interceptions. That's freaking awful, and they still won seven games.
I love the Jets getting to ten wins. Love them
you with me, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
If you know, as long as Rogers can do it.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
For s.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
That's a man injuries, that's the wild card. There's no
doubt about that. How much does that suck? Think about
how much money. That's the other thing, Eddie. That's why
I think a lot of people aren't giddy about the Jets.
Is It's one thing to say to have high expectations
for a team, even if it's not your team. It's
another thing to bet on that team. I know a

(25:25):
lot of people bet money on the Jets last season
to surpass their season win total, and Rogers goes down
within four plays and by buy money. You know. So,
I get you'd be a little reluctant, but I think
this is time to pounce. It's time to bounce.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I'll let you pounce for me.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Okay, fair enough. That sounds like the intro to Queen
of Hearts right there, you know what I mean? There's
work that.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
It was a spicy addition of the Queen of Hearts.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Absolutely, and hey, we covered some ground in Queen of
Hearts tonight, did we not? We did?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah? I mean Felexus leading it off there, my lord.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Burfee Man Flexus just it was Felexus unfiltered, you know,
going right for it.

Speaker 3 (26:12):

Speaker 2 (26:58):
One last year Minnesota. I believe there was one in
Was there one in Wisconsin too?

Speaker 6 (27:07):
No, maybe just Minnesota, but they weren't at the Father's.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
They were not at the Father's Mustache. There was one here.
There was two in southern California. We had one of
Andy the Comic Book Guys Comic Book Shop, and then
we had another one. Uh and where was that one
at Coop? Didn't you shot that one?

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Wow? Coop? What happened?

Speaker 2 (27:31):
He could he didn't want to drive. He was lazy.

Speaker 6 (27:33):
Yeah, like two and a half hours away from you.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
No things. So there's four that I can think of
off the top of my head in the last couple
of years.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
How many of you gone to Coop?

Speaker 2 (27:46):
One one true? What was the other one?

Speaker 6 (27:54):
Well, I mean I guess they're.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Meet Okay, the minor league pitching.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Yeah, yeah, out the first pitch at the at the games.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
He did have to. Yeah, I guess those were meeting greets.
They were just meeting greets at a at a game.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
So yeah, who had the How many of you threw
out the first pitch? All of you guys?

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah, we all did.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Who had the worst one?

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Well that's probably Coop.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
Yeah, what happened?

Speaker 5 (28:21):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (28:22):
You know, I just uh misjudged it was growing up.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
He wasn't throwing balls around he's asbian.

Speaker 7 (28:30):
Yeah, no, look, I wanted I was focusing, no time
for correct Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
And he was throwing around balls in his youth. He
didn't have time to learn these's right.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Yeah, my friend isn't straight, she's a lesbian.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
No, I just I was focusing too much on my form.
I wanted it to look good and I wasn't. I
wasn't focused enough on just getting it there.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
It happens, man.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
You know, I was I was solid in Bakersfield, but
Sam Bernardino is not so great.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Short hopped it.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
Yeah, you know, it's weird. I can only remember one
of my pitches that.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Is a little where were you stoned?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Well?

Speaker 6 (29:20):
I mean yeah, but that shouldn't matter.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Why why why the short hopping? You know, not you
guys just in general, these first pitches. Why don't you
see people just airmail it.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Well, that's what Danny g did, did he Yeah, he
threw it as hard as he could and it wasn't
you know, it was to the backstop.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
See, I'd rather do that than short hop it.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
No, you're right, that's that's the That's probably the better move.
I mean, it wasn't anywhere close to the ketcher, but.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
You know, it hit the camera guy and knocked him
out in the background.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
But yeah, bended an ephis pitch.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Oh my god, it was such a lollipop. My god.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Did it make it there barely?

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Yeah, yeah, he went That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Roberto had a pretty good heater there in sam Bradio.
He had the best pitch in that one.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
The second Yeah, yeah, that's cool. Roberto is all about
baseball man.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Yes, yes he is.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
He's a huge baseball guy. Shout out to him.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
We got to get this going again so we can
see how Lorena's first pitch is.

Speaker 7 (30:23):
Oh yeah, I have quite the arm fellas, Oh yeah,
oh yeah nice.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yeah she's got a gun.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Yeah, I bet my right hand was like workout. I'm
barely over five.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Feet tall, like like ninety pounds.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Don't. Hey, you never know, Coop, you never.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Know when it comes to small packages.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
It's like Pedro Martinez was not. Yeah, that's hulking guy.
You know he threw heat. Threw heat over there. It's
on the hills. Okay, we got a lot to do
over here. I've got a random theory to throw your way.
I actually have two theories to throw your way. We've
got ruffled feathers as well, so we'll do all that

(31:12):
stuff right around the corner. I'm Brian, No, he's Eddie Garcia.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
It's Brian No, Okay, Eddie, I've got one opinion, one theory,
and a story about ruffled feathers. Okay, okay, all right,
So here's my one theory. You know these fan bases
in the NBA where they get excited about free chicken. Yeah,
the opposing team, this is two free throws, they get

(33:17):
free chicken. I'm convinced the team they root for has
never done anything. That's my theory. I don't know if
it's confirmed or not, but I'll give you an example.
I went to a New Orleans Pelicans game the other week.
They're about to get swept. They're fired up in the
fourth quarter about free chicken. They haven't done anything. That's

(33:38):
my theory. Do you think there's some legs to that?
Like these fan bases are actually convinced that they're focused
on the Knicks. Fans are focused on winning a championship.
You know what I mean, fan bases.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
If the Knicks were getting free chicken, they'd be cheering
for that too. No, people love free crap. It's unbelievable.
I go to these games. They're firing off those stupid
T shirt cannons, and you know, you could be you know,
Richie rich down in the lower bawl or in the
third deck and you'll jump over a child to get
some stupid T shirt that isn't worth anything. It's usually

(34:10):
not even a good T.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Shirt, fair enough. But maybe the franchise is they don't
have that promotion, you know, because they don't want to
go down that road. They don't want to do the
Mickey Mouse types.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Everybody does that stuff. Who doesn't do that stuff?

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I don't think everybody does it, Eddie, I don't think so.
I'm not seeing that in the playoffs now that we're
down to the big boys. You know, I'm not seeing
what they're not.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
You're not watching what's going on the commercial breaks. What
are you thinking about, Eddie.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
It's not during the commercials. It's when they're missing free throws,
you know, when they miss free throws.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Oh, I'm talking about like the T shirt thing.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
No no, no, not that, I'm saying the free chicken thing.
So the opposing team has to miss two free throws
in a row and then you get free chicken. I'm
convinced the fan base is that sheer for free chicken
while your team is in this like really important playoff game.
You've never done it, You've never accomplished.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
Everybody loves free chicken. Care if you're the Celtics or
the Pelicans.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Let me get to the ruffled feathers, because this is
what matters. Gizelle is According to people dot com, she
is deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family
at Sunday Evening's Roast. Oh yeah, she.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Anymore.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Some of these jokes were pretty funny, Drew Bledsoe. He
said about Tom Brady, you have more rings than I do.
But I've experienced a couple of things that you'll never experience.
The feeling of being a number one overall draft pick
in the NFL and a twenty eighth wedding anniversary.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
So said, that's good stuff. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Kevin Hart had a couple of zingers as well, where
he was making fun of the jiu jitsu instructor that's
apparently who Giselle is dating right now. And he said,
one of the smartest quarterbacks to ever play this game.
How did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes
a day and she's still a white belt. That's what

(36:11):
he had to say. But apparently Giselle did not think
it was funny. Eddie, it's a roast, right, Loosen up
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
Maybe they don't have roast in Brazil.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I might not. I don't know. Hey, our good friend
Marcel is with us. Let's go to Brooklyn. Marcel, what's
going on? Good morning, Bud, You're on Fox Sports Radio.
Uh oh, there he is. That's what I like to.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
Hear, Eddie Garcia. Good to see you in four Big Ben.
I hope he'll see you too tomorrow. Let's see some
quaky TV picks before wrap things up, and two pros
and a cup of Joe coming up? Yah no, line three,
but I think it's going to be you, Brian, Okay,
you money buddy, I mean.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Buddy, Marcel. I'm gonna go with Pepperoni pizza.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
Hey, that's not the TV picks, that's a food picks.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Oh the TV. Okay, so what are you going to
be watching.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Later on TV last night?

Speaker 1 (37:15):
What did he.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Watch last night?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Okay, Barca, you watched you know, you watched some Rangers hockey.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
I put the mixmatch on you coming at you, so
say right where you are, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
He stole my answer. I also was going to say Rangers, yes,
fast cool.

Speaker 6 (37:34):
I don't know what is it?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
What does the horse hel
